Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Meet Ryan Blackburn. A 6ft, 17-year-old, with dark brown hair and gold color eyes. Right now, we see him maintaining his strawberry patch at his home between Vale and Mistral.

As we observe Ryan Blackburn tending to his strawberry patch, we notice that he appears to be quite skilled at his task. His hands move swiftly and with precision as he carefully tends to each plant, inspecting them for any signs of disease or damage. His focus is intense, and we can tell that he takes great pride in his work.

Despite his youth, Ryan's strong build and broad shoulders suggest that he is no stranger to hard labor. His dark brown hair is neatly trimmed, and his golden eyes seem to reflect the warm sun shining down on him.

As we watch him work, you can't help but wonder what the fuck led Ryan to take such an interest in gardening. Perhaps it was a family tradition, or maybe he simply enjoys the peace and quiet that comes with working in the garden. Nope, he was bored and needed a new hobby. But it's clear that he is dedicated to his craft and takes great care in producing the best strawberries possible.

Better than a Marihuana patch probably.

Later, he rented a truck to take the fresh strawberries to the city of Vale.

"Whoops, almost forgot my shotgun." He said as ran back to his house and came out with a Mossberg 500 pump action shotgun.

"Can never be too careful in Vale." He said as he got in the truck and drove to Vale.

As we again, observe Ryan driving his rented truck towards Vale, you can't help but somewhat agree at the sight of him carrying a shotgun with him to Vale. While it's understandable that he may feel the need to protect himself and his produce, it's important to remember that firearms can be dangerous and should be handled with care. Or if someone wants to fuck around and find out.

Despite this, it's clear that Ryan is a determined and hardworking individual, willing to go to great lengths to ensure the safety and success of his small business. As he drives, he hums a tune to himself, seemingly lost in thought.

When he arrives in Vale, he parks his truck and begins to set up his stand in the bustling market square. People of all ages and backgrounds walk by, admiring the fresh strawberries on display. Ryan greets each customer with a smile and a friendly 'hello', and it's clear that he takes great pride in his product.

As the day wears on, Ryan's strawberry stand proves to be a popular attraction, and he sells out of his entire stock by mid-afternoon. With a satisfied smile, he packs up his things and heads back home, content in the knowledge that his hard work has paid off.

He made 2500 Lien. So, get up and start a strawberry patch.

As he was heading off, he saw a store called 'From Dust, to Dawn'. Ryan stopped at the place and went inside.

"Hey Shopkeep! The usual?" Shopkeep smiles and points at the back where the comics are at.

"Alright! Thanks, Shopkeep. Time to read the new edition of Captain Punch." He thanked and went to the comic book stand and reads next to Ruby Rose.

As Ryan settles down to read his comic book, he notices a young woman sitting nearby, engrossed in her own book. Her red and black outfit catches his eye, and he recognizes her as Ruby Rose, a fellow resident of Vale.

Without wanting to disturb her, Ryan continues to read his comic in silence. However, as he turns the pages, he can't help but steal glances at Ruby, admiring her beauty and the grace with which she holds herself.

As the afternoon wears on, Ryan eventually finishes his comic book and prepares to leave. As he gets up to go, he catches Ruby's eye and offers her a friendly smile.

"Hey, I hope you don't mind me reading next to you. I couldn't help but notice we share a love for comics or weapons." Ryan says, attempting to strike up a conversation.

Ruby looks up from her book and smiles back. "Not at all! It's always nice to meet another fan of both comics and weapons. What did you think of Captain Punch?"

And with that, Ryan and Ruby strike up a conversation about their shared love of comics and weapons, chatting and laughing as they walk out of the store together. As they part ways, Ryan can't help but feel a sense of excitement for what the future might hold.

A second later he sees Roman, and a couple of goons go in the store. Then he sees Ruby going in later. He raised an eyebrow at this until he saw the henchman and Ruby crash through the window. The other men look outside as Ruby gets up and unfolds Crescent Rose into its scythe form.

Roman scowls, but Ruby smiles back at them before twirling the weapon around, striking it into the ground and turning off her headphones.

"Good thing I got these hand grenades." Ryan said as he started searching in his backpack.

As Ryan begins to search through his backpack for his hand grenades, he can feel his heart racing with adrenaline. He knows that Roman and his goons are dangerous, and he's worried about what they might do to Ruby.

As he continues to search, Ryan tries to stay focused on the task at hand, trying to block out the chaos and noise coming from inside and outside the store. Finally, he finds what he's looking for and pulls out the hand grenade. A M67 Frag.

Taking a deep breath, Ryan makes his way towards the store, determined to help Ruby and put a stop to Roman's nefarious plans. As he approaches the shattered window, he can see Ruby engaged in a fierce battle with the henchmen, her scythe flashing through the air with deadly precision.

Without hesitation, Ryan pulls the pin on one of the grenades and throws it towards the goons, hoping to catch them off guard. The explosion rocks the store, sending debris flying in all directions.

As the dust settles, Ryan can see that Ruby has emerged victorious, her scythe dripping with blood. Despite the chaos and destruction, she turns to him and offers a smile of gratitude.

"Thanks for the assistance," she says, giving him a quick nod of respect.

Ryan nods back, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. Though he may be a trained fighter like Ruby, he knows that he has the courage and determination to stand up for what's right. And in that moment, he feels like a true hero.

It was short lived as both saw Roman climbing up a ladder on a nearby building.

"You go after him Ruby. And if he has a ride like a Bullhead to escape with." Ryan says as he goes to the back of the truck and pulls out an Anti-Air Rocket Launcher. "Then this bad boy will put an end to his escape." Ryan said to the shocked Ruby Rose. "Uh...Roman?" Ryan said to Ruby as she came out of her shock and goes after Roman.

As Ruby takes off after Roman, Ryan sets up the rocket launcher, carefully aiming it towards the sky. He knows that he only has one shot at this, and that he needs to make it count.

He watches as Ruby jumps from rooftop to rooftop, closing in on Roman's position. He can see the fear in Roman's eyes as he realizes that he's been caught, and that there's no escape.

Without hesitation, Ryan pulls the trigger on the rocket launcher, sending a rocket flying towards the sky. The rocket arcs towards its target, a fiery streak of light in the sky.

Just as the rocket is about to hit its mark, Ryan hears a voice behind him. "What do you think you're doing?" It's Glynda Goodbitch-witch, looking at Ryan with a mix of shock and anger.

Ryan freezes for a moment, realizing the gravity of what he's just done. But then, he straightens his shoulders and looks at the MILF in the eye.

"I was protecting Vale," he says simply. "Roman was a criminal who needed to be stopped. I did what I had to do."

The Blonde Teacher studies Ryan for a long moment before nodding. "Alright. But next time, let us handle it. We don't need vigilantes running around, causing chaos."

Ryan nods, understanding Glynda's point of view. As he watches Ruby and the rest of the cops take Roman into custody, he feels a sense of relief and satisfaction. Though his actions may not have been sanctioned, he knows that he did the right thing. And in his heart, that's all that matters.

Later it cuts to Ryan's amazed face turn to one of shame as both he and Ruby were taken in by Glynda Goodwitch, with a tablet computer thingy, paces around the table Ruby and Ryan are seated at, right underneath a bright light in the otherwise dark room. With no snacks.

"I hope that you do realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, you two. You could've put yourselves and many others in great danger." Glynda said to the two.

Ryan and Ruby sit quietly, looking down at the table in front of them. They both know that Glynda is right, and that they made a mistake by taking matters into their own hands.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Goodwitch," Ryan says, his voice barely above a whisper. "We just wanted to help. We didn't mean to cause any harm."

Glynda nods, her expression softening slightly. "I understand that you were trying to do the right thing, young man. But there are proper channels that need to be followed when dealing with dangerous criminals like Roman."

Ruby looks up at Glynda, her eyes filled with determination. "We won't make the same mistake again, ma'am. We'll work with the authorities from now on."

Glynda nods, a small smile crossing her lips. "Good. I'm glad to hear it. Now, I want you both to think about what you've done and the consequences of your actions. You're dismissed for now, but don't forget what we've discussed here today."

Ryan and Ruby stand up, feeling chastened but also determined to learn from their mistakes.

"However, before you two leave. There is someone here who would like to meet you." Glynda said to Ryan and Ruby.

She moves out of the way so a surprised Ruby and Ryan can see a man in green come through the doorway, holding a mug and a plate of cookies.

"Ruby Rose..." Ozpin says as he leans in to look at her face, "You... have silver eyes."

"Uh, um..." Ruby said unsure on what to say.

"So! Where did you learn to do this?" Ozpin says gesturing with his head at the tablet showing Ruby's fighting."

"S-Signal Academy." She speaks. "The internet, a Bandit Tribe, some girl named Neo and my Mom." Ryan says as he got looks from both Ruby and Glynda.

"They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?" Ozpin said to Ruby. "And you never went to a combat academy but have the knowledge to combat people." He said to Ryan.

Ruby and Ryan both shift uncomfortably, feeling like they're being interrogated. But they also feel a sense of pride in their abilities, despite one not having gone through the traditional training.

"Well, yes, sir," Ruby says, standing up straighter. "I've been training with my uncle and my sister since I was little, and I've been practicing on my own ever since."

Ryan nods in agreement. "And I've been studying combat techniques and weapons designs since I was a kid. It's a little hobby of mine."

Ozpin nods, taking a sip of his drink. "I see. Well, I must say I'm impressed by both of you. Your skills and determination are exactly what we need here at Beacon Academy. I'd like to offer you both a spot in our upcoming semester."

Ruby's eyes widen in surprise, and Ryan can't help but grin. "Really? You're offering us a spot at Beacon?"

Ozpin nods, a small smile on his lips. "Yes. I think you both have what it takes to become great a Huntsman and Huntress. Of course, it won't be easy. But if you're willing to put in the work, I'm sure you'll do great things here."

Ruby and Ryan exchange excited glances, feeling like their dreams are finally coming true. "We accept!" they say in unison, grinning from ear to ear.

Ozpin chuckles, standing up from his chair. "Excellent. I look forward to seeing what you both can do. Welcome to Beacon Academy."

The scene changes to the Monday morning as Yang Xiao Long tackles her sister in a hug aboard the large Vale Airbus to Beacon, crushing the air out of her.

"Oh, I can't believe my baby little sister Ruby is going to Beacon with Yang! This is the best day ever!" Said a happy Yang.

"Please stop. You're crushing me." Ruby said gasping for air and turning blue.

"Oopsie, me sorry... But me so proud of you!" Yang told Ruby as she released her from the hug.

"Really Sis, it was nothing. Plus, I didn't get charged with murder." Ruby said as she took a couple of breaths of air.

"What do you mean, nothing? It was incredible! Everyone at Bacon is going to think you're the bee's knees." Yang said.

"It's Beacon, Yang. And I don't want to be the "bee's knees", alright? I don't want to be any kind of knees! I just want to be a normal girl with fuckin' normal knees." Ruby corrected and told her sister.

"What's with you, Ruby? Aren't you excited? Maybe hungry?" Yang asked her sister.

"No, I'm not hungry. And of course, I'm excited... I just..." Ruby sighs, "I got moved ahead two years. I don't want people to think I'm special or anything."

Yang goes over and gives her sister a one-armed hug, "But Ruby, you are special."

"Oh, there you are!" Ryan said coming up to the sisters.

"Who's the cute boy?" Yang asked Ruby as she was checking Ryan out.

"This is Ryan. The guy I talked about and helped me." Ruby said as she smiled at Ryan.

"Nice to meet you." Ryan said to Yang as she got close to him.

"I'm the Yang. You single?" Yang asked Ryan and he nodded. She smiled at that and got closer, "How about we get to know each other." Yang flirted at him.

Ruby has a jealous look and pulls Ryan away from Yang.

"Come on, Ryan. We should go find our seats." Ruby said, trying to hide her jealousy.

"Uh, yeah. Nice meeting you, Yang." Ryan said as he followed Ruby towards their seats.

"See you later, cutie." Yang called out after them, still trying to flirt with Ryan.

Ruby glared at her sister as they made their way to their seats, "Yang, please. Can you not hit on every guy you meet?"

"What? I can't help it if I have a way with guys." Yang said, grinning mischievously.

"Ugh, you're impossible." Ruby said, shaking her head as they took their seats.

Ryan chuckled at the interaction between the two sisters, "Don't worry, Ruby. I'm not interested in your sister."

Ruby smiled at him, "Thanks, Ryan. I appreciate it."

The three settled into their seats as the Vale Airbus took off towards Beacon Academy, beginning a new chapter in their lives.

As they sat down in silence, Ryan looked at Yang's hairstyle and face. This caught Yang's attention and she blushes and winks at him.

Ryan unfazed by Yang's attempts at getting him to blush asked if she was related to Raven Branwen. This slightly shocked Yang as she said yes.

Ruby wanted to get in the conversation and asked Ryan why he wanted to know.

"Because Raven taught me some things too. And she was VERY clingy. Like, wouldn't want me to leave clingy. The only way I escaped from her to the thanks of a cute tomboy named Vernal and an Ursa on cocaine. Seriously, never let Grimm take drugs. Took a headshot like it was nothing." Ryan told the sisters.

Ruby was even more jealous of two more girls and Yang wanted to ask more questions but saved them for later.

Ryan sees an upset Ruby and headpats her as she smiles in enjoyment.

The scene cuts to the trio arriving at Beacon Academy, where they meet with others and are directed to their guest dormitory. Ryan is surprised by the luxurious accommodations and Yang teases him for being a country boy.

As they settle in, Ryan notices that Ruby seems preoccupied and asks her what's wrong. Ruby admits that she's feeling overwhelmed and anxious about being at Beacon and worries that she won't be able to live up to everyone's expectations. Ryan reassures her that she's capable and talented and tells her to believe in herself.

Yang joins in, telling Ruby that she's not alone and that they're here to support her. The three of them share a group hug, and Ruby feels a sense of comfort and belonging.

As night falls, Ryan goes to bed feeling grateful for his new friends and the opportunity to attend Beacon Academy. He drifts off to sleep, excited for the adventures that await him in this new chapter of his life.

The next day, we see Ryan and many other students getting ready for their initiation.

Ryan is seen eating pancakes with bacon and lots of syrup.

Suddenly, a girl with a bigger stack than his slides next to him with a wide smile on her face.

"Hey cute boy! You like pancakes!" Asked the girl with enthusiasm and energy.

"Like them? I fucking love them!" Ryan said with as much enthusiasm as the girl.

She squealed in happiness and hugs Ryan tightly, "My name is Nora Valkyrie by the way!"

"Names Ryan Blackburn. A pleasure to meet you, Nora." Ryan said as he rubs Nora's head, and she hums in enjoyment.

Nora introduces Ryan to her friend, Lie Ren, who is sitting across from her. Ren nods in greeting and Ryan returns the gesture.

As they continue to eat, Nora and Ren tell Ryan mostly Nora about their strategy for initiation, which involves sneaking around and avoiding confrontations as much as possible.

Ryan nods along, impressed by their approach, and shares his own strategy of using his weapons, a Light Machine Gun, a Grenade Launcher and a Desert Eagle, to take out Grimm.

After finishing their breakfast, the trio heads to the launch pad to start their initiation. As they take off, Ryan can't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what's to come.

During the locker room, Ryan picks up a M240B Light Machine Gun, a M32 Grenade Launcher and a Desert Eagle.

As he places the Ammunition in pouches, he sees Weiss Schnee and Pyrrha Nikos. The former is trying to convince the latter to be her teammate.

Ryan confidentially walks up to the two, "Hello there my fare maidens. My name is Ryan Blackburn and I just so happened to overhear about your chat."

The two blushed red face as a guy named Jaune Arc asked Ryan which way is his locker number, "Five lockers ahead of us." "Thanks man!" Jaune thanked Ryan as he walked off.

"Actually, I think the teams are comprised of four students each." Pyrrha said, getting Ryan's attention.

"Really? Well, hot redhead spartan, play your cards right and maybe you could join up with the winning team." Ryan said as he flexes his biceps.

Ruby and Yang are seen drooling at Ryan flexing his muscles.

"Ryan, is it? Do you have any idea who you're talking to at all?" Weiss asked Ryan.

"Not in the slightest, Ms. Schnee." Ryan said.

"This is Pyrrha."

"Hello again!" Pyrrha greeted Ryan again as he smiles and rubs her head, and she giggles liking it.

"Well, Pyrrha graduated top of her class at Sanctum." Weiss said.

"Never known that till now." Ryan said as he stops rubbing Pyrrha's head and focuses his attention on Weiss.

"She's won the Mistral Region Tournaments four years in a row. A new record mind you!" Said Weiss.

"Damn. Wasn't able to watch due to fixing our TV screen."

"She's on the front of every Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes box for crying out loud!" Weiss shouted as she waved her arms rapidly.

Ryan and Jaune gasp suddenly, "That's you?!" They both said in unison.

"But they only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters." Said Jaune as Ryan nods in agreement.

"Yes, it was pretty cool. Sadly, the cereal isn't very good for you. No seriously. It tasted like dog shit." Pyrrha said to the two.

"You're not wrong about that." Ryan said as he waves goodbye and heads to launch pads.

Weiss and Pyrrha exchange a look before continuing their conversation, with Pyrrha still unsure about joining Weiss's team. As Ryan leaves, he can hear Weiss still trying to convince Pyrrha to join her team.

As the students were launched in the air, Ryan realized he didn't have a landing strategy, "Oh crap..." He said as he was still in the air.

Ryan quickly scanned his surroundings and noticed that some of the other students were using their weapons to slow down their descent. He then quickly pulled out his emergency grappling hook and fired it towards a nearby tree.

The grappling hook latched onto a branch, and Ryan swung towards it, using the momentum to slow down his fall. He then used his acrobatic skills to flip himself over and land on the ground gracefully. Perfect 10.

"That was close," Ryan said to himself, feeling relieved that he had made it safely to the ground.

He then looked around to see where he was, eager to get started on the initiation.

A few hours later, we see Ryan at the temple with the relics. He smiles and sees only eight are left.

As he was about to pick one up, a girl shouted his name scaring him.

He turns around and sees Yang and his old best friend that he had seen in ten years Blake Belladonna.

"Hey Blake." Ryan said nervously. "Didn't know you was her-"

He was cut off as Blake both yelled, hugs and cried saying that he was a jerk and she missed him badly.

Ryan doesn't say anything and smiles sweetly at Blake and rubs her back and scratches her cat Faunus ears.

Before Yang could say anything, Ruby is seen falling from the sky.

"Heads uuuuuup!" Ruby said falling right towards them, finally getting Yang's attention.

Just as she's about to hit the ground panicking, Jaune Arc comes flying and crashes into Ruby, knocking her off course and sending them both into a tree to the left of where Blake, Ryan and Yang are standing. Ruby is dazed by the rough landing.

"Oohhhh... What was that?" Ruby asked herself as the dizziness passes when she shakes her head.

"Eh-hem!" Ruby looks up to see Jaune hanging upside-down in a tree branch above her, "Hey, Ruby..."

Blake stops hugging Ryan and is looking at the tree, "Did your sister just fall from the sky?"

"I..." Yang could only say before she was interrupted by several crashing noises heard in the forest ahead of them, and a large Ursa comes out, claws swiping, just as a pink blast of energy hits it in the back and it crashes to the ground, depositing its rider.

"YEEEE-HAAAAW!" Nora rolls from the creature's back, then gets up and groans, saddened, "Awwww... It's broken."

She dashes onto its neck and observes the carcass as Ren comes up behind her.

Ren panting and leaning on the monster talks to, "Nora! Please... Don't ever do that again."

"I want do that too." Ryan and Yang said in unison as the latter looks at him with a smirk and Blake hisses at her.

He looks up again and notices the area of where his partner should be that Nora has run off again and looks around frantically.

Nora now in the Temple, staring at a golden rook relic, "Oooohh..." suddenly she grabs it, as she dances and sings with the chess piece, "I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!"

"Nora!" Yelled Ren.

Nora stops dancing with the rook on her head, then salutes, dropping the relic into her hand, "Coming, Ren!" She skips off to her friend.

"Did that girl just ride in on an Ursa?" Blake questioned.

"Me..." Yang is interrupted once more as a screech is heard from their right, and Pyrrha Nikos comes onto the scene as the scorpion creature uproots entire trees in its chase after her. Pyrrha narrowly dodges its giant claws and keeps on running.

"Jaune!" Pyrrha calls out to Jaune.

"Pyrrha!" Jaune calls out to Pyrrha.

Ruby standing up, looking at the monster below, "Whoa!" She starts running from the branch and landing in a roll.

"Ruby!" Jaune whins at her.

As Ruby stands up, back on the ground Yang calls out to her, "Ruby!"

Ruby excited raises her arms as if to give her sister a hug, "Yang!"

"Nora!" Comes between the two sisters and knocking them off-balance in surprise.

The scorpion Grimm continues to follow Pyrrha as she runs.

Blake again questions as she watches Pyrrha getting chased, "Did she just run all the way here with a Death Stalker on her tail?"

Yang is getting angrier until she growls and erupts in a small burst of fire, eyes flashing red, "Yang can't take it anymore! Can you people just chill out for two damn seconds before something stupid happens again?!"

Two seconds later, Yang is cooling down, Ren running over to a ditzy Nora, and Blake, Ryan and Ruby looking up.

"Umm... About that stupid?" Ryan tugs on Yang's sleeve and points up.

Up above, Weiss is revealed to be hanging on a talon the size of her entire body that belongs to a gigantic Nevermore.

Weiss calling down to Ruby, "How could you leave me you little shit?!

Ruby shouts up at Weiss, "I said 'jump' you white hair shit!"

"She's going to fall off." Blake deadpans as she and the others look up.

"Nah she'll be fine." Ruby reassured them.

"And she's falling now." Ren says as he sees Weiss fall off.

"She was fine." Ruby deadpans.

Jaune is finally out of the tree, panting until he looks up and grins at the sight of Weiss falling through the air, giving him the opportunity to jump off the branch with arms outstretched and catch her.

Jaune smiles at Weiss, "I got you."

Weiss is speechless... and Jaune realizes why when they both look down.

"Oh, God no." Jaune said as Weiss and him hang on to each other wide-eyed as their moment of suspension ends, their weapons flying behind them.

"Oh, noooooooo- Oomph!" Jaune makes a faceplant into the dirt, limbs splayed out, and serves as the perfect landing spot for Weiss as she falls into a seated position on his body.

"At least you tried. You alright?" Weiss both thanked and asked Jaune.

"My back..." Jaune says groaning.

The Death Stalker is still hunting Pyrrha, but she manages to land on her side at the feet of the heroes.

"You, okay?" Ryan asked Pyrrha as she gave a thumbs up.

"Great! The gang's all here! Now we can die together!" Yang said at the current situation all nine of them are in.

"Not if I can help it!" Ryan says as he fires his grenade launcher at the Deathstalker killing it and fires his Light Machine Gun at the Nevermore killing it. "That was fun." Ryan said with a smile.

After Ryan defeated the Grimm. More Grimm are heard coming in the distance, "Look, there's no sense in dilly-dallying. Our objective is right in front of us." Said Weiss as the heroes stare at the relics. Ryan again counted only eight left before. Now there's only four.

"She's right. Our mission is to grab a relic and make it back to the Cliffs," Ruby said as she nods to Weiss, "There's no point in fighting more Grimm."

"Run and live, that's an idea I can get behind right now." Said Jaune.

Ruby goes over and grabs a gold knight that's identical to the one Yang picked out and Jaune takes hold of a gold rook similar to Nora and Ren's piece, smiling at each other. Ryan notices there are no pieces left. As he was about to leave, he sees a green Axe piece within the grass. Seeing that no one picked it up. He takes it.

"Time, we left!" Called out Ren.

"Right," Ruby waves to the others, "Let's go!" She goes forward with everyone following except for a smiling Yang, Ryan and Blake as the latter approaches her Yang.

"What is it?"

Yang stares proudly at Ruby as she leaps on a boulder and motions the group onward, "Nothing..." She moves on as Blake smiles in realization and leaves as well with Ryan following suit.

As the group moves forward, they encounter more Grimm on their path. They fight them off as they make their way towards the cliffs, with Ryan using his M32 to assist in battle.

After a while, they reach the cliffs and start their ascent. As they climb, they notice that the Grimm seems to be increasing in number, and the climb becomes more difficult.

"We have to keep going!" Ruby yells out, trying to motivate the others.

Jaune, however, is starting to tire, "I can't go on much longer..."

"We can do this!" Weiss encourages him.

Just then, they hear a roar and see a massive Grimm emerging from the forest below. It's a Grimm dragon, easily the biggest Grimm any of them have ever seen.

"We have to take it down!" Blake says.

"But how?" Nora asks.

Ryan notices that the dragon seems to be guarding a cave behind it. "I have an idea. If we can lure it away from the cave, I can try to sneak in and grab another relic."

"That's insane," Yang says, "You'll get killed!"

"I'll be fine," Ryan replies confidently, "Just distract it for me."

The others are hesitant, but they see no other option. They start fighting the dragon, trying to keep its attention away from Ryan. As they fight, Ryan manages to slip past the dragon and into the cave.

Inside, he finds a relic sitting on a pedestal. He quickly grabs it and makes his way back out. As he emerges from the cave, he sees that the dragon has been defeated.

"We did it!" Ruby exclaims.

"We still have three more relics to find," Ryan reminds them.

"But we're one step closer," Weiss says with a smile.

The group continues their ascent up the cliffs, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.

As they continued to climb, Ryan and Ruby saw the last three relics.

However, hundreds of Grimm are around it. Ryan then asked Weiss to hand him a Fire Dust crystal. She handed it to him and asked why he needed it.

To which he responds saying, "Because my semblance." He says as he stabs the Dust much to the shock and horror of the others.

But instead of dying, he was absorbing the power of the Dust. His eyes glowed red, his body was on fire, and he flew a bit.

He turned to the others and spoke in a deep voice, "Any Dust I absorb will do this and give me its elemental powers. Like the Fire Dust just now." He then flew at the group of Grimm.

The group watched in awe as Ryan charged towards the Grimm, leaving a trail of fire behind him. The creatures didn't stand a chance against him as he effortlessly took them out with his newfound powers. Ruby and the others followed behind, using their own abilities to fight off the remaining Grimm.

As they approached the relics, they saw that the creatures were guarding them fiercely. Ryan landed on the ground and stood in front of the group, his body still glowing with the power of the Fire Dust.

"Let me handle this," he said, his voice still deep and powerful. He then charged towards the Grimm once again, unleashing a powerful blast of fire that cleared the way for the others to grab the relics.

They quickly grabbed the remaining relics and made their way back to the Cliffs, fighting off any remaining Grimm along the way. Once they arrived, they placed the relics in the designated areas and watched as the tower began to rise from the ground.

As the tower rose, they could feel the ground shaking beneath their feet. The tower continued to rise higher and higher until it reached the clouds. Once it stopped, a bright light emanated from the top of the tower, illuminating the entire area.

Ruby turned to Ryan, a smile on her face. "We did it," she said.

Ryan nodded, his body no longer glowing. "Yeah, we did," he replied, a sense of pride in his voice.

The group then turned to face the tower, unsure of what was to come next, but ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.

Ryan then looks down at himself and realizes the now drain Dust crystal is still in his leg. The others noticed and Pyrrha was about to pull it when Ozpin and Glynda came. The two congratulated the nine on passing. Glynda kindly removes the Dust carefully out of Ryan. Later, Ozpin announces the new first year teams like CRDL, JNPR and RWBY. He even decided to make Ryan a one-man team.

Ryan was surprised to hear that he was going to be a one-man team, but he quickly composed himself and thanked Ozpin for the opportunity. He knew that being a one-man team would be a unique challenge, but he was ready to take it on. As the other teams left to start their training, Ryan went with Ozpin to discuss his next steps.

"Ryan, as a one-man team, you will face challenges that no other student at Beacon has faced before," Ozpin said, looking at Ryan with a serious expression. "But I believe that you have the potential to succeed, and I will do everything in my power to help you."

Ryan nodded, grateful for the support. "Thank you, sir. I won't let you down."

Before Ryan could leave, he asked Ozpin if he could have his weapons from home be at his dorm. Ozpin then ask how many are there and what type.

Ryan says it's mostly guns like, Pistols, Shotguns, Sub-Machine Guns, Light Machine Guns, Assault Rifles, Battle Rifles, Marksman Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Heavy machine Guns, Rocket Launchers, Grenade Launchers, Grenades, Landmines and a Sea Mine from the Great War.

He then adds that there are at least 456 and one Sea Mine with nearly over a hundred-thousand rounds of ammunition.

Ryan looked back at the now shocked look on Ozpin's face.

Ozpin was taken aback by the sheer number of weapons and ammunition that Ryan mentioned. "I see," he said slowly, trying to process the information. "That's quite an arsenal you have there, Ryan."

Ryan nodded, "Yes, sir. I'm sorry if it's too much, but they are all necessary for my line of work."

"I understand," Ozpin said. "We will need to make arrangements for storing and securing all of those weapons. It won't be easy, but we'll manage."

"Thank you, sir," Ryan said gratefully. "I appreciate it."

"Of course," Ozpin said with a small smile. "Just remember that we are a school for Huntsmen and Huntresses, not soldiers. You'll need to keep that in mind when choosing which weapons to use in the field."

Ryan nodded, "Understood, sir."

"Good luck, Ryan," Ozpin said as he turned to leave. "I have a feeling you'll do well here at Beacon."

Ryan smiled, "Thank you, sir. I'll do my best."

As Ryan got in the elevator and left.

Ozpin made a quick call to Ryan's home. His mother picks up.

"Hello Mrs. Blackburn, this is Professor Ozpin. Is the Sea Mine that your son has deactivated?"

Mrs. Blackburn responds, "Yes, it's been deactivated and is just a display piece now. Why do you ask, Professor?"

Ozpin explains, "Your son has requested to bring his entire collection of firearms and explosives to his dorm at Beacon. I just wanted to make sure that the Sea Mine is deactivated and not a threat."

Mrs. Blackburn chuckles, "Oh, I see. Yes, the Sea Mine is completely harmless now. Ryan has always been passionate about his collection. He's always been responsible with them though, and I trust him to continue being so at Beacon."

Ozpin nods, "I understand. Thank you for letting me know. Have a good day, Mrs. Blackburn."

"You too, Professor," Mrs. Blackburn replies before hanging up.

Glynda wanted to know and asked Ozpin how dangerous is an active old Sea Mine.

Ozpin replies, "Very dangerous, Glynda. Sea mines are designed to cause significant damage to ships and other vessels. If it were to detonate in the middle of the city, it could cause catastrophic damage and loss of life."

Glynda nods solemnly, understanding the severity of the situation. "We need to make sure that the mine is safely deactivated and removed from the premises as soon as possible."

Ozpin agrees, "I'll make sure that a team is dispatched to Ryan's home to handle the situation. We can't afford any risks to the safety of our students and the citizens of Vale."

Glynda nods in agreement, "I'll inform the rest of the faculty and security team to remain vigilant and be prepared for any potential threats."

Ozpin thanks her, "Thank you, Glynda. I appreciate your help in this matter."

With that, Ozpin ends the call and turns his attention back to the task at hand - ensuring the safety of the school and its students.

Ozpin then realized something and asked himself a question, "Where did Ryan get these weapons? And how the hell did he get a Great War Sea Mine?!"

The next day, Glynda came to Ryan's room and asked how he acquired such a large amount of weaponry.

"Oh. I found them." Ryan said honestly.

Glynda blinked twice with bewildered expression, "You...found them?"

She says as Ryan nods, "Even the Sea Mine?"

She says as she points at the Sea Mine behind him.

"Now THAT one I found in a river near my house four years ago. It may be deactivated, but it still has enough BANG to take out a city block. So, I brought it here for only emergencies if a giant Grimm came." He spoke.

Glynda looked at Ryan with a mix of shock and concern. "Ryan, you do understand the severity of having such dangerous weapons on campus, right? And the risk it poses to yourself and others?" she asked.

Ryan nodded. "Yes, I understand. But I can assure you that these weapons are safe and secure. I have been trained to handle them and I have taken all necessary precautions to ensure their safety."

Glynda sighed. "I hope you know what you're doing, Ryan. But I must remind you that any unauthorized use of these weapons on campus will result in severe consequences."

"I understand, Glynda. And I appreciate your concern." Ryan said with a nod.

Glynda then left the room, leaving Ryan alone with his thoughts and his arsenal of weapons.

Later a knock came at his door. He opens it and sees Teams RWBY and JNPR. Both teams saw Glynda telling him and were concerned.

He told it was fine and it was about his weapons and the Sea Mine. Both teams understood the weapons, but the Sea Mine? Ryan points behind him and both teams enter his spacious dorm room with all the weapons and Ruby saw the literal mention Sea Mine.

Ruby's eyes widened as she saw the Sea Mine, "Is that really a Sea Mine?!" she exclaimed.

Ryan nodded, "Yeah, I found it in a river near my home a few years ago. It's deactivated, but it's still dangerous enough to take out a city block if it was armed."

Team JNPR and RWBY exchanged glances, clearly uneasy at the thought of having such a destructive weapon nearby.

Pyrrha was the first to speak, "Ryan, are you sure it's safe to keep something like that here?"

Ryan nodded, "I keep it as a last resort, in case of a major emergency like a Grimm invasion or something."

Jaune spoke up, "But what if it accidentally goes off or something?"

Ryan reassured him, "Don't worry, I've taken precautions to ensure that doesn't happen. It's safely stored in a reinforced crate with other explosives that I found. It's locked and secured with multiple layers of protection, including a biometric scanner that only responds to my fingerprints."

Ruby looked at Ryan with concern, "Are you sure you know what you're doing with all this?"

Ryan grinned, "Of course, I've been trained in handling explosives and firearms since I was a kid. My dad was a soldier, and he taught me everything he knew."

Team JNPR and RWBY were still uneasy, but they trusted Ryan and his judgment. They decided to drop the subject and focus on getting to know their new friend better.

Blake and Ren were looking at the many pistols he had. Including a working Flintlock pistol.

Ren's eyes widen at the sight of the Flintlock pistol, "Is that a real Flintlock pistol?"

Ryan nods, "Yep, it belonged to my great-grandfather who fought in the Great War."

Blake looks impressed, "That's quite the family heirloom."

Ryan nods, "Yeah, it's been passed down through the generations. It's still functional too."

Weiss walks over to the heavy machine guns, "And what about these?"

Ryan grins, "Ah, those are my babies. I have a soft spot for heavy firepower."

Nora nods eagerly, "Oh yeah, those babies can pack a punch!"

Ruby is still staring at the Sea Mine, "But why did you bring this here? I mean, it's deactivated, right?"

Ryan nods, "Yeah, but you never know when a giant Grimm or some other kind of threat might show up. It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it."

Jaune looks at Ryan with a mix of awe and concern, "You really do have a lot of firepower. Are you planning to take down an entire army or something?"

Ryan chuckles, "No, I just like being prepared for anything. Plus, it's a hobby of mine to collect and customize weapons."

Weiss looks at Ryan skeptically, "I don't think you should be treating weapons like a hobby, Ryan. They are tools meant for protection and defense, not something to be collected and customized for fun."

Ryan nods, "I understand Weiss. I take the responsibility of owning these weapons seriously. But that doesn't mean I can't enjoy them as well."

Yang then jokingly says, "What's next? You going to tell us you also have a Tank and a Missile Launcher?" She chuckles as some of the others do.

Ryan with an honest face says, "Yeah I do. My mom and I made them."

Everyone's jaws dropped in shock. "You made a tank and missile launcher?" Weiss asked incredulously.

Ryan nods, "Yeah, my mom and I used to build stuff in our spare time. She's a retired Huntress turned weapons designer, so we had access to a lot of materials."

Yang whistled in admiration, "That's pretty impressive, Ryan. Maybe you can show us sometime?"

Ryan nods with a smile, "Sure, I'd love to."

Nora then saw a M32 Grenade Launcher.

Nora's eyes widened with excitement as she picked up the M32 Grenade Launcher. "Oh, this is so cool!" she exclaimed, looking at it with admiration. "Do you mind if I try it out sometime?" she asked Ryan with a grin.

Ryan chuckled, "Sure thing, Nora. Just make sure to use it in a safe and appropriate place," he replied.

Ren shook his head, "Nora, please don't encourage him," he said, but with a small smile.

Ruby, who had been quiet for a while, spoke up. "Ryan, why do you have all these weapons?" she asked curiously.

Ryan took a deep breath before answering, "Well, my family has a long history of military service. My great-grandfather fought in the Great War and my grandfather served in the Vale Army during the Faunus Rights Revolution. My father was a Huntsman and he taught me everything I know. He also taught me to be prepared for anything, and having access to these weapons gives me a sense of security," he explained.

The others nodded, understanding where he was coming from. They may not have agreed with his methods, but they respected his choices.

Ruby then saw the Sniper Rifles and then The M82A1 Barrett .50 BMG.

Ruby's eyes widened as she saw the M82A1 Barrett .50 BMG. "Whoa, that's a beast of a sniper rifle!" she exclaimed, looking at Ryan in awe. "I've always wanted to try using one of those!"

Ryan chuckled, "Well, you can't use that one, it's a little too powerful for you. But I do have some other sniper rifles you could try out on the shooting range."

Ruby nodded excitedly, "That would be awesome! Thanks, Ryan!"

Ryan took notice of Yang eyeing the shotguns. She then picked one up and it was the AA-12 and asked what it was.

Ryan replied, "That's the AA-12, or the Automatic Shotgun. It's a fully automatic shotgun capable of firing 300 rounds per minute. It's perfect for taking down groups of Grimm quickly." He then took out a similar shotgun and showed it to Yang. "I have another one too," he said with a small smile.

Weiss then saw one weapon that made everyone turn and look, "IS THAT A DAMN MINIGUN?!"

Ryan nodded, "Yep, M134 Minigun. It's a six-barreled rotary machine gun, firing up to 6,000 rounds per minute. It's a favorite of mine." He said with a grin. The others were stunned at the sheer size and power of the weapon.

Jaune then asked if he has a license and permits for both firearms and explosives.

Ryan went to his desk and pulled out large documents of both licenses and permits for both the firearms and explosives.

All signed and stamped by Vale, Atlas, Vacuo and Mistral.

Jaune was surprised to see the amount of paperwork, "Wow, you really covered all your bases, didn't you?" he said, looking through the documents.

Ryan nodded, "I had to, considering the amount of firepower I have. I didn't want to run afoul of the law."

Weiss looked over his shoulder at the paperwork, "It looks like everything is in order. You certainly did your due diligence."

Ryan smiled, "Thank you. I take my responsibilities very seriously, especially when it comes to the safety of others."

The others nodded in agreement, impressed by Ryan's attention to detail and commitment to safety.

It was then that everyone noticed that the only melee weapon Ryan had was a knife.

"Not to be rude, but why do not have any other melee weapons besides that knife?" Asked Pyrrha.

Ryan thought about it and said, "Required a lot of paperwork than the firearms and too much of a hassle. No offense."

Pyrrha nodded in understanding, "I see. Well, as long as you have some form of defense up close, that's what matters." Ryan smiled and thanked her for understanding.

Nora and Ruby saw the grenades, even Weiss. Weiss picked one up and accidentally pulled the safety pin. Ryan saw this and held Weiss' hand, so she doesn't let go of the Safety Lever.

"Careful, Weiss," Ryan said as he carefully guided her to put the safety pin back in place. "Those are live grenades, and one wrong move could be disastrous."

Weiss nodded, feeling a bit embarrassed for her mistake. "Sorry about that," she said sheepishly.

"It's okay," Ryan reassured her. "Just be careful, okay?"

The group then continued to look at the various weapons and ammunition that Ryan had in his collection, each of them amazed by the sheer amount of firepower he had at his disposal.

Blake then notices a crate that says 'Non-Lethal'. And pulls out a TASER X26P.

Ryan nods and explains, "Yeah, I have a few non-lethal options in case we need to subdue someone without killing them." He then points to another crate labeled 'Tranquilizers' and adds, "I also have some tranquilizer darts and guns, though I hope we never have to use them."

Nora with a happy face mentions that her semblance allows electricity or lightning to make her stronger. Meaning if she gets hit with a taser it'll boost her strength.

Glynda then comes back, interjects and says, "Nora, I must advise against using weapons on each other, even in a training environment. We do not condone such actions." Nora nods and puts the taser back in the crate. "Understood, Professor Goodwitch." she says.

This surprised Ryan to see Glynda again, however she says she also wants to see his weapons. Her eyes go to a crate labeled 'Vests'.

Ryan nods and walks over to the crate, pulling out several vests made of different materials, including Kevlar, Spectra, and Dragon Skin. "These are some of the vests I have," he says, holding one up for Glynda to inspect. "I also have some trauma plates to go with them, if you're interested."

RWBY, JNPR and Glynda were now wonder what the Kevlar Vests are, and Ryan shows them a vest of his last fight with a White Fang assault that happen two years. The vest still had bullets embedded in it and had a few burn marks.

Glynda looks at the vest closely, examining the bullet holes and burn marks. "It seems to have held up well," she says, impressed. "What kind of material is it made of?"

Ryan replies, "It's a combination of Kevlar and Spectra fibers, with ceramic or steel plates for added protection against armor-piercing rounds. It's designed to absorb and disperse the force of a bullet, reducing the likelihood of penetrating the skin."

Blake nods in understanding. "So, it's like a shield for your body?"

Ryan nods. "Exactly. It's saved my life on more than one occasion."

Glynda looks at the other vests in the crate. "Do you have enough for everyone?"

Ryan nods again. "Yes, I do. I brought them just in case."

Glynda nodded in approval. "Good thinking, Mr. Blackburn. It's always better to be prepared."

Jaune says to him, "So the vest is more like extra protection. Like having Aura on top of Aura?" Ryan laughs a little and says 'yes'. While everyone else, even Glynda, realized that now Jaune and Ryan are the only ones with a protective vest or armor.

Ruby then asked Ryan if he had any plans to make more vests for her team. Ryan thought about it and said that it could be possible, but it would take some time and resources to make them.

He also mentioned that the vests wouldn't completely protect them from every attack, but it would provide some extra protection. Glynda then suggested that they could bring up the idea to the headmaster and see if they can provide the resources to make them.

Everyone agreed that it was a good idea and they decided to talk to the headmaster about it later.

Blake then saw another type of grenade, but in the 'Non-Lethal' crate and asked, "Say Ryan, what these 'Flashbangs'?"

"Ah, those are M84 flashbang grenades," Ryan replied. "They emit a blinding flash of light and a deafening noise to stun and disorient the enemy without causing permanent harm. They're very useful in situations where you need to incapacitate opponents quickly and safely."

"However, I recommend not using them against Faunus. As they can LITERALLY make their ears bleed or worse. Go completely deaf." Ryan warned.

Everyone nodded in understanding, realizing the potential harm that the flashbangs could cause to Faunus with sensitive hearing.

Glynda, Ruby and Yang also sees an ammo box that says, 'Rubber Rounds/bullets'.

Glynda, Ruby, and Yang were curious about the ammo box labeled 'Rubber Rounds/bullets'. Ryan explained that rubber bullets were non-lethal projectiles that could be used in situations where deadly force wasn't necessary.

"They're a great alternative to live rounds when we need to subdue someone without causing permanent harm," he said.

Glynda nodded in approval. "I'm glad to see you have a range of options available to you," she said. "It's important to know when to use lethal force and when to use non-lethal force."

Ruby, on the other hand, looked a bit disappointed. "But they're not as cool as the real bullets," she said with a pout.

Ryan chuckled. "Yeah, I know what you mean. But sometimes being cool isn't as important as being responsible," he said.

Weiss then sees a large box with the label 'strawberries'. Ruby noticed this too.

Ryan chuckles and says, "Oh that's just a personal item. Nothing related to weapons or combat." The others looked a bit confused but decided not to press further on the matter.

However, Ruby wanted to know. To point she latched on to Ryan in a tight grip.

Ryan chuckles a bit at Ruby's persistence and says, "Alright, alright, I'll tell you. The strawberries are just a personal stash of mine. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and sometimes it's hard to find good quality fruit in Vale. So, I bring some from home and keep them here."

"So that means you love cookies too?!" Shouted/Asked Ruby to Ryan and he says, "Fuck yeah I do!" Ruby quietly mutters, "I think I found my future husband."

Everyone laughed at Ruby's comment and Ryan just smiled. "I'll make sure to stock up on cookies next time," he said jokingly.

This time, Nora pops up a question, "Say Ryan, are you single or dating anyone?"

Ryan responds with an honest, "Nope."

This made the girls except Glynda have a wide smile on their faces.

Glynda cleared her throat and said, "Well, as interesting as this tour has been, I believe it's time for all of you to return to your studies."

The students reluctantly said their goodbyes to Ryan and left his dorm room. Ryan took a deep breath and looked at his collection of weapons and equipment, feeling grateful for all of the hard work he and his mother had put into them.

He couldn't wait for the next opportunity to use them to protect his friends and loved ones.

Meanwhile in the Branwen Tribe, we see Raven with a bulletin board with the top saying 'How to win Ryan's heart!' Her second-in-command Vernal looks at her boss with bewildered expression.

"I can't believe you're doing this, Raven," Vernal says shaking her head.

Raven shrugs. "What can I say? The boy's intriguing. I want to see what makes him tick."

Vernal rolls her eyes. "I don't think stalking him is the way to win his heart."

"I'm not stalking him," Raven protests. "I'm just gathering information."

"By eavesdropping on his conversations with his friends and acquaintances?" Vernal retorts.

Raven crosses her arms. "I'm just trying to get to know him better. And if it so happens that I win his heart in the process, then all the better."

Vernal sighs. "You're hopeless, Raven."

Raven smirks. "We'll see about that."

"And what if he says 'No.' or "Sorry, but I'm taken.'" Vernal says.

Raven gives a smug smirk, "Then we move on to plan B."

Vernal raises an eyebrow, "And what's plan B?"

Raven leans in and whispers, "We kidnap him."

Vernal looks shocked, "Kidnap him?! What in the fuck?!"

Raven shrugs, "Love makes you do crazy things."

"Plus, we're bandits." Raven says.

Vernal nods in agreement, "Yeah, that too."

"Wait a minute? If that's Plan B. What's plan C?" Vernal now says with a worried look.

Raven smirks and says, "Plan C is to simply take what we want."

Vernal raises an eyebrow and asks, "And what exactly is it that you want?"

Raven turns to her and replies with a sly grin, "Everything."

"Oh my God, my leader is a fucking Cougar..." Vernal with a disappointed look on her face.

As Vernal finishes her sentence, Raven turns to her with a glare. "What did you say?" she asks, her voice laced with a hint of danger.

Vernal quickly backpedals, realizing her mistake. "No-nothing, Boss. Nothing at all," she stammers, trying to diffuse the situation. Raven seems to accept this and turns back to the bulletin board, ignoring Vernal for the moment.

Vernal, on the other hand, sighs to herself, thinking about her leader's obsession with Ryan. She knew that Raven had always been interested in him, but she had no idea it had reached this level. She couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for Ryan if he ever found out about Raven's plans.

"And what about the Sea Mine he now has?" Vernal says as Raven turns to look at her.

"Sea Mine? Who told you he has a Sea Mine?" Raven says with a questioning look.

Vernal says without thinking much, "Oh Ryan told me after that Uras on cocaine attacked."

Raven's expression turns to one of annoyance as she mutters to herself, "That little shit, always hiding something." She then turns back to Vernal and says, "Well, we'll just have to add that to the list of things we need to acquire from him."

"As for the Uras on cocaine. I still remember how that thing nearly ate me." Raven shudders the thought.

Vernal nods in agreement, "Yeah, that was a close call. Good thing Ryan was there to save us."

Raven smirks, "Speaking of which, I wonder if he still remembers the favor, I did for him back in Vale."

Vernal raises an eyebrow, "What favor?"

Raven leans in and whispers, "Let's just say I made sure he got out of Vale alive when the White Fang attacked."

Vernal looks surprised, "You saved his life?"

Raven shrugs, "I wouldn't say saved his life, but I did him a favor. And who knows, maybe he'll repay it one day."

Vernal nods, "I see. Well, we should probably focus on the task at hand. We need to plan our next raid."

Raven nods in agreement, "Right. But don't forget to keep an eye out for any opportunities to get closer to Ryan."

Vernal rolls her eyes, "You're never going to give up on that, are you?"

Raven smirks, "Nope."

"Now I'm worry on how many kids you want from him." Vernal says.

Raven looks at Vernal with a deadpan expression, "I don't want any kids from him, Vernal. I just want him on our side." She then turns back to the bulletin board, "And to do that, we need to figure out what he likes and what he hates."

"Well...he does like cute girls." Vernal said blushing at remember Ryan calling her cute two years ago.

Raven looks at Vernal with a smirk, "Oh really? Looks like we have a contender for plan D."

Vernal's blush deepens as she realizes what her boss is implying. "No, no, no! I was just stating a fact! I don't want to be part of your plans!" she protests, but Raven just laughs it off.

"Relax, Vernal. I'm just joking. We're bandits, not matchmakers," she says, patting Vernal's shoulder.

"Which is why I'll be the contender." Raven says with a smug smile as Vernal smile drop.

As Vernal's smile drops, Raven notices and raises an eyebrow. "What's wrong?" she asks.

Vernal hesitates for a moment before responding, "Well, I kind of have a crush on him too."

Raven's smug expression fades and she looks at Vernal with a mix of surprise and annoyance. "What? How long has this been going on?" she asks.

Vernal shifts uncomfortable. "Since he first came to the tribe," she admits.

Raven lets out a sigh. "Well, that's just great," she says sarcastically. "Looks like we're both after the same guy."

Vernal nods. "Yeah, I guess so."

There is a moment of silence before Raven speaks up again. "Okay, here's what we'll do. We'll both make our moves and see who he chooses. May the best woman win."

Vernal looks hesitant. "But won't that create tension between us?"

Raven shrugs. "It's a risk we'll have to take. Besides, it's not like we're the best of friends anyway."

Vernal nods slowly, still unsure about the plan, but not wanting to upset her leader. "Okay," she says quietly.

Raven nods in agreement. "Okay then, let's get to work."

"Well, he's good at baking, but dislikes terrible cooks." Vernal says as both her and Raven look at each then back at the bulletin board. "We're both bad at cooking." Raven deadpans and Vernal nods in agreement.

"Well, we'll just have to find a way to impress him in other areas," Raven says confidently, "Perhaps we can show him our combat skills or share some common interests." Vernal nods in agreement, "Yes, we can find something we have in common with him and bond over it. And if all else fails, we can always resort to stealing him away in the middle of the night." Raven chuckles at Vernal's suggestion, "Now that's the spirit, Vernal. We Branwen women always get what we want, one way or another."

Vernal then realized something, "Say isn't your daughter Yang also in Beacon with Ryan?" Raven then pales.

Raven's expression darkens as she responds to Vernal, "Yes, she is."

Vernal looks at Raven, realizing the implications. "So...you're planning on pursuing Ryan while your daughter is also in the same school as him?"

Raven rolls her eyes at Vernal's question. "Please, Yang is an adult. She can handle it herself. And if Ryan reciprocates my feelings, then Yang will just have to accept it."

Vernal looks unconvinced but decides not to press the issue further. Instead, she turns her attention back to the bulletin board, trying to come up with more ideas on how to win Ryan's heart.

"But if you're planning on having kids with him. You don't mind if I have three?" Vernal asked.

Raven gives Vernal a stern look, "We are not having kids with him. And no, you cannot have three." Vernal just shrugs and says, "Just asking. You know, in case you change your mind." Raven rolls her eyes and turns back to the bulletin board.

Suddenly a bandit came in, "Boss! We have a Uras on cocaine again! And it's eating Charles!" Raven then facepalms and Vernal just says, "Ah for fuck's sake!"

The two bandits quickly grabbed their weapons and followed the bandit who gave the news. As they ran, Raven couldn't help but think about what Vernal said about her daughter Yang being at Beacon with Ryan. She knew that she had to be careful with her actions, especially since her relationship with Yang was already strained.

As they arrived at the scene, they saw the Uras on cocaine violently attacking one of their own. Raven quickly analyzed the situation and came up with a plan. "Vernal, distract it from the front. I'll sneak up from behind and attack its weak spot," she ordered.

Vernal nodded and charged towards the Uras, making loud noises to attract its attention. Raven, on the other hand, quickly made her way behind the creature and struck its weak spot with her sword.

The Uras let out a loud roar and turned its attention towards Raven, giving Vernal an opening to attack. They continued their coordinated assault, and soon enough, the Uras was defeated.

As they were heading back to their camp, Raven couldn't help but think about Ryan again. She knew that she had to keep her feelings in check, especially since she had a reputation to uphold as the leader of the Branwen tribe.

Meanwhile, we see Mrs. Blackburn making dinner for herself.

Mrs. Blackburn hummed to herself as she prepared dinner. She had decided to make herself some spaghetti with meatballs, one of her favorite meals. As she cooked, she thought about the day's events, including Ryan's visit and his impressive weapon collection.

Despite her initial apprehension about Ryan's chosen profession, Mrs. Blackburn couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for him. He was brave, skilled, and had a heart of gold. She was proud of the young man he had become.

As she sat down to enjoy her dinner, Mrs. Blackburn couldn't help but wonder what other adventures Ryan was getting up to at Beacon. She hoped he was safe and happy, and that he knew how much she cared about him.

She then turned to look at the photo of the late Mr. Blackburn.

Mrs. Blackburn stared at the photo for a moment, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Oh, George," she whispered to herself. "I miss you so much."

She reached out and traced the outline of her late husband's face with her finger. It had been years since he had passed, but the pain was still fresh in her heart. They had been together for so long, and he had been taken from her far too soon.

Mrs. Blackburn sighed and turned back to her cooking. As she chopped vegetables and stirred pots on the stove, her mind wandered back to memories of George. She remembered the way he used to sneak up behind her and wrap his arms around her waist, the sound of his laughter, and the way he always knew how to make her smile.

Tears welled up in her eyes, and she quickly wiped them away with the back of her hand. "I'll always love you, George," she whispered to the photo. "And I'll never forget you."

A couple weeks later we see Cardin Winchester with The Executioner perched on his shoulder and Jaune Arc opposite him with Crocea Mors drawn, leaning on his weapon as if exhausted, in the spotlight shining on the Beacon Academy auditorium stage.

He looks at Cardin, who laughs at his opponent's tiredness, and Jaune gathers his strength to charge forward and swing his blade at Cardin, only for him to jump out of the way. Jaune looks back, surprised, as The Executioner sends Jaune's shield and himself flying back. Now only armed with his sword, Jaune continued to try and attack, but was blocked by the mace's hilt. Their weapons locked, Cardin forces himself up, towering over a struggling Jaune.

As the two of them continue to struggle, the crowd roars in excitement, cheering for their favorite fighter. Jaune grits his teeth as he tries to push back against Cardin, but he can feel himself losing ground. Suddenly, he remembers some of the training that Ryan had given him, and he decides to try a new tactic.

With a sudden burst of strength, Jaune breaks free from Cardin's grip and takes a step back. He then switches his sword to his left hand and drops his stance. Cardin looks confused for a moment before lunging forward to take advantage of the opening.

But Jaune was ready. With lightning-fast reflexes, he dodges to the side and delivers a swift kick to Cardin's chest, sending him flying backwards. The crowd erupts into cheers as Jaune stands victorious.

After the match, Jaune is approached by Ryan, who had been watching from the sidelines. "Great job out there," Ryan says with a smile. "You're really starting to get the hang of it."

Jaune grins back at him. "Thanks to your training. I couldn't have done it without you."

Ryan laughs. "Nah, you would've figured it out eventually. But I'm glad I could help."

As the two of them walk away from the arena, Ryan claps Jaune on the back. "You know, you're starting to become a real Huntsman, Jaune. Keep it up."

Jaune smiles, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. With Ryan's guidance, he knows that he can become a true Huntsman and protect the people of Remnant.

Later we RWBY, JNPR and Ryan ate lunch and chatted. Suddenly, they all look over as they hear laughing growing louder, mixed in with cries of pain from the rabbit girl when one of her ears are tugged on by Cardin.

"Ow! That hurts!" Velvet stops struggling and grimaces as she says, "Please, stop..."

Cardin continues laughing as he turns to his cronies, "I told you it was real!"

Russel Thrush still guffawing with his teammates, "What a freak!" Unknown to the bullies a mad Ryan got up with a Taser.

"Oh, you think it's funny to bully someone weaker than you?" Ryan says, his voice low and dangerous as he approaches the bullies.

Cardin turns to face him, still chuckling, "And what are you going to do about it, pretty boy?"

Before anyone can react, Ryan presses the Taser against Cardin's neck, causing him to yelp in pain and fall to the ground. The rest of the bullies back away, fear etched on their faces.

"Let this be a lesson to you," Ryan says, his eyes flashing with anger. "Bullying is not okay. And if any of you even think about messing with Velvet or anyone else again, you'll have to deal with me."

The bullies quickly nod and scurry away, leaving Ryan standing there with the Taser still in his hand. Velvet looks up at him, tears in her eyes as she says, "Thank you, Ryan."

Ryan smiles at her, "No problem, Velvet. No one deserves to be treated like that."

Ryan steps on Cardin's family jewels and walks back to his with all of RWBY and JNPR looking at him. "What?" Said Ryan.

Everyone is looking at Ryan with a mix of surprise and shock. Finally, Ruby speaks up, "Ryan, why did you do that?"

Ryan shrugs and responds, "He deserved it. I can't stand bullies."

Jaune nods in agreement, "Yeah, we can't just let them get away with this kind of behavior."

Weiss chimes in, "But Ryan, resorting to violence is not the answer."

Ryan looks at her and sighs, "I know, Weiss. But sometimes it's the only way to get through to these people. And don't worry, I won't make a habit out of it."

Yang grins, "Well, at least we know you're not afraid to stand up for what's right."

Nora adds, "And you're definitely not someone to mess with!"

Ren simply nods in agreement, but the look in his eyes tells everyone that he too respects Ryan for what he did.

Ruby then speaks up, "Well, regardless of what just happened, let's all enjoy our lunch together and forget about those bullies."

Everyone nods in agreement, and they all continue their lunch, with the incident quickly fading from memory.

Blake quickly asked why he had his taser hidden behind his back.

Ryan looks at Blake and responds, "I always carry it around in case of emergencies. And that was an emergency." He shrugs as he takes his seat again.

Yang then asked a question everybody wanted to know, "What happens if you get tased?"

"Well, it's not the most pleasant experience," replied Ryan with a smirk. "It's like getting hit with a bolt of lightning. Your muscles tense up, and you can't control your body for a moment. But don't worry, I've only ever used it for self-defense."

"Also, you might do what Cardin did just now after being tased. Wet yourself." He says as the nine of them looked back and saw that Cardin indeed wet himself.

The group looked at Cardin in shock, some with disgust. "That's just gross," Weiss commented with a grimace.

Blake shook her head, "He deserves it for what he did to Velvet."

"Agreed," Ryan added, "Bullying is not acceptable, and I won't tolerate it."

Nora jumped up with a grin, "That was so cool! Can I borrow your taser sometime?"

Ryan chuckled, "I don't think that's a good idea, Nora. It's not a toy."

Yang looked at Ryan thoughtfully, "You know, you surprise me sometimes, Ryan. You seem so quiet and reserved, but then you do something like this."

Ryan shrugged, "I don't like bullies. And I don't like people hurting others for no reason."

"Well said," Ren commented, "We should all strive to stand up for what is right, and not be afraid to take action when necessary."

The group nodded in agreement as they went back to their lunch, feeling a sense of camaraderie and respect for each other.
