"Am I in trouble, daddy even though I didn't use my claws, plus the kid was making fun of me even though I know I messed up Knowherebucks but Groot Junior held me back using his vines so I wouldn't use my claws like you and uncle Logan." RJ said seeing Rocket come out of the principal's office bending to the male-kit's level scratching behind his furry lil ear which was calming him down, assuring him he wasn't in trouble and prohd of him for showing restraint when he could've wiped the floor with that kid deciding to go get ice-cream makihg Groot Junior excited, as like his dad he had a sweet tooth making Rocket grin, explaining to RJ why as they headed to the ice-cream parlour making Groot Junior excited.
"Yep, like your daddy, you've got a sweet tooth and one time, he ran amok all over New York for ice-cream when Spidey was watching him." Rocket told them making RJ's eyes widen in surprise at that story, imagining his sibs doing that making Rocket chuckle agreeibg on that, if the kits did that knowing RJ was having trouble making friends at pre-school but he and Groot Junior would help him out.
"Okay but they'll still not wanna play with me." RJ mumbled making Rocket's heart hurt hearing this hugging his boy despite getting fudge on his whiskers as Groot Junior handed him an napkin which made him feel good knowing RJ was being sweet and scared which made his protective instincts wild, deciding to bring some ice-cream home for the kits for dessert as he was trying to convince them to eat their dinner, making RJ smile knowing his brothers and sisters would be excited as they had sweet fangs too, like him.
After leaving, they were going home but Rocket put the ice-cream in the fridge seeing the kits hug his legs and on Rocket's feet which RJ thought funny as he used their favourite squeaky tots to distract them, seeing them scamper into the play den relieving Rocket, paw-bumping him.
"You're welcome as they're happy ti see us." he said seeing Rocket nodding.
That early evening, RJ and Groot Junior were working on a Lego project while Rocket was giving his brothers and sisters their bath and tend to them, as they'd had their bath and RJ was in his light blue jammies seeing Groot Junior tap him gently showing him the Lego pieces in his little barky hands, seeing the male-kit nodding.
"Yeah, this is looking awesome only after we're done, we have to maje sure we pick up all the bricks as we don't want my sibs to pht them in their mouths or up their snouts like marbles." RJ told him, seeing Groot Junior nodding as they didn't want anything to happen to the kits seeing Rocket walk in impressed by what they'd been working on, seeing a rollercoaster but was pointing out itvwas almost bedtime.
"I am Groot." Groot Junior said as they were picking up Lego bricks relieving Rocket as they were being thoughtful of the kits safety paw-bumping them as they were going to have their bedtime snack noticing RJ was quiet guessing he was worrying about school in the morning, reassurihg him things will be okay
