After Ning'er headed to school, Raynare woke up and took a shower. The inn they were staying at didn't have a shower. Issei had to install one. Not long after Raynare woke up, Yang Xin arrived and acted coquettishly. She remembered what happened the other night.
"You're finally here," Issei said. He can see that Yang Xin was acting shy due to the previous night. So, Issei didn't bring it up. "Take a seat, and we can start your lesson. From now on, you will only be studying when we are together or when I want you to read the book in advance. Do you understand?".
"I understand," Yang Xin said. She couldn't look Issei in the eyes. Whenever she does, the events that happened the previous night would pop up in her head. "I'll also be careful not to neglect my mental health. I promise not to let what happened the previous night happen again".
"That's good. I hope you do keep your promise. Knowledge is useless if you destroy your own body," Issei said. He sighed and started testing Yang Xin on the knowledge that she had already read. Not bad, Yang Xin was able to memorise all three volumes that she had read. "Good! You've understood them. I would have been disappointed if you only memorised the words without an in-depth understanding".
Issei continued to teach Yang Xin for the next five hours. For the two geeks, they didn't even know that they'd been learning for quite some time. But unlike Yang Xin, Issei knows when it's time to take a break.
"Okay, that's enough for today. We've been at this for five hours now," Issei said. Yang Xin had a saddened expression. More, she wanted to continue the lesson. So many things that she didn't learn before were being taught to her. "I know that you want to continue, but we have all the time to improve your understanding of alchemy".
Yang Xin sighed and decided to take Issei's advice. She was about to say goodbye, but Issei stopped her.

Issei handed the Heaven's Path Cultivation Manual to Yang Xin, and she started reading it. Yang Xin understood how valuable the manual was. There is nothing in Glory City that could even match a percent of what it's capable of.
Earlier, Yang Xin was planning to leave, but when she read the Heaven's Path Cultivation Manual, she sat down and started cultivating. But doing so, Yang Xin destroyed her old cultivation and started cultivating Heaven's Path.
Thirty minutes. That's all Yang Xin needed to reach the beginning level of the Heaven's Path Cultivation Manual. Yang Xin squeezed her fist and felt power like no other. "Here, take this," Issei said. He tossed the Abstruse Gemstone to Yang Xin. The item should be able to help her increase her cultivation speed. "That should be able to help you speed up your cultivation. I have no use for it, but it is useful for you".
Yang Xin accepted the gift, but it took her a moment before she did. Issei had already given her a manual beyond anything she's ever seen. And now, Issei was giving her an item as valuable as the Abstruse Gemstone. Yang Xin sighed; she then left the room. This time she wasn't stopped by Issei.
In the Holy Orchid Institute, Xiao Ning'er was bored. She couldn't wait for the class to end. Looking around the classroom, she saw Nie Li and his friends standing in the back of the class. Ning'er didn't really care much about Nie Li's bet with the teacher as she had her own trouble.
However, instead of thinking about her own problems, Ning'er was thinking of visiting Issei after class. She was giggling while thinking about it.
Ye Ziyun, one of Xiao Ning'er's classmates and former friend was staring at Ning'er as she giggled. This was the first time that Ye Ziyun had seen Ning'er giggle in a long time. Whatever was making Ning'er giggle got Ye Ziyun's curiosity.
'Hmm…What got Ning'er so happy? I haven't seen her this way in a long time,' Ye Ziyun thought. She was curious as to who or what got Ning'er happy. 'I'll try following her. I want to know what got her in such a good mood. Usually, she would have a serious face, but today, she would laugh and giggle whenever she was thinking.
Looking closely at Ning'er, Ye Ziyun realised that Ning'er had the face of a maiden in love. Ye Ziyun remembered it from one of the lessons that her caretaker had told her about. This shocked Ye Ziyun.
'No way, right?' Ye Ziyun thought. Ning'er never comes into contact with many people. The chances of her falling in love were meagre. Especially since the girl had nothing in her head but training. 'Who could it be? Plus, isn't Ning'er engaged to the young master of the Sacred Family? This would cause her problem in the future. I definitely have to follow her. I don't want her getting hurt'.
After classes, Ning'er was still in a good mood. As for Ye Ziyun, she decided to follow Ning'er. However, due to her, a dog was tagging along. This was Shen Yue, another young master of the Sacred Family.

'That can't be right,' Nie Li thought. The Purple Haze Grass uses shouldn't be available. The only thing known about it in Glory City is to be used as an insect repellent, nothing more. 'This can't be. I was banking on the formula to hike up the prices of the Purple Haze Grass. But it seems I can't do that now. I need to think of another way'.
No one was really minding Nie Li. Ning'er was heading to the inn that issei was staying in, Ye Ziyun was following Ning'er, and Shen Yue was being a nuisance by following Ye Ziyun. None had their eyes on Nie Li.
Once Ning'er arrived at the inn, Ye Ziyun gasped. What would Ning'er be doing in such a place when her abode in the Winged Dragon Family was more than adequate. Could it be that Ning'er was meeting someone here?
While Ye Ziyun was thinking of an explanation, Shen Yue was angered at the place that Ning'er was visiting. There was no way someone like Ning'er would be meeting at this place. Unless she was meeting someone she wasn't supposed to be seen with.
'Shameless! This bitch is engaged to my older brother, and she dares meet with someone!' Shen Yue was angry. He clenched his fist as hard as he could to the point that it nearly drew blood. 'Hmph! Wait until my brother hears of this!'.
When Ning'er headed upstairs to Issei's room, Ye Ziyun and Shen Yue followed. Ning'er knocked on the door of Issei's room, and he opened the door. One gasped for air when Ye Ziyun and Shen Yue saw Issei, while the other got furious.
'This bitch is really doing something so shameless!' Shen Yue thought. He was definitely going to inform his brother about this. 'I want to see you live once my brother has heard of his woman being taken from him. I don't think that man would survive. Hmph!'.
'Oh my…I couldn't believe how handsome that guy was,' Ye Ziyun thought. She was a normal growing young woman, after all. 'No! Bad thoughts, go away! I need to figure out what that man is doing with Ning'er! He seemed to be older. Who knows what he's making her do?!'
While the duo outside was thinking of idiotic things. Inside the room, Ning'er was eating food that Issei cooked for her. She didn't know that Issei was this great of a cook. Ning'er thought she had embarrassed herself in the morning since she made breakfast for Issei, but when she saw Issei smile at her, she forgot about it and enjoyed her food.
