Mahoutsukai Pretty Cure-The Jewels of Hope!
(Park)
Spring time was always a beautiful time in the country of Japan. Probably because of the beautiful form of cherry blossom blooming their pink petals that were sent flying through the winds. It was here walking by herself with nothing more than a jeweled pendant around her neck and a small basket that carried her teddy bear do we see our heroine.
"I'm sure it was around here…" One Asahina Mirai said as she walked through the park, looking up at the trees and enjoying the gentle breeze that blew by.
Mirai is a young 13 year old girl with purple eyes and short golden blonde hair with a small part of it tied up with a pink bow and a braid tied in the back. She is currently wearing a shirt with a light pink top and puffy sleeves and flowy light blue shorts. She also wears pink shoes with white knee-high socks.
Looking around, Mirai walks down a different path that didn't have as many people. She walked in silence, not knowing that right above her was a girl about the same age as her flying on an actual broomstick. And no, I kid you not.
The girl has magenta eyes and long dark purple hair with part of it held up with a light pink pom-pom though this was covered by her magenta colored witch hat as said witch hat was part of her clothes which consisted of a white frilly long sleeved blouse with a magenta colored cape with a gold trim that is held around the shoulders with a pink checkered bow. The skirt is pink and is frilly with a frilly white layer underneath. Around the waist is a magenta belt with suspenders and has two gold buttons in the middle. The socks are black and can be plain black or it could have white frills at the top with magenta ribbons on the side. The shoes are magenta with a frilly strap that is either pink or white. To top the uniform off was the magenta witch hat which has a pink checkered ribbon tied around the base and a white feathery layer inside. The uniform also comes with a short cloak with a hood topped with cat-like ears.
"Hmm, where could it have fallen?" Mirai thought out loud for last night, she saw something in the sky and had come to the park where it had crash landed. She knew it wasn't some sort of meteorite for it was spinning around.
"Hey, it fell." A voice suddenly called out.
"Eh?" Mirai turned around and saw her teddy bear on the ground. It must have fallen out from her basket when she didn't notice. "Ah! Mofurun!" She quickly goes up to it and picks it up; checking for any damage and to her relief, there was none. "Gomen ne(I'm so sorry)! Thanks for telling me…" When Mirai looked up to thank the person who told her about her bear, she found no one in sight, to her confusion. "Huh? Who…?" She looked left and right, but found no one. She then looked up and was greeted with the sight of the witch hatted girl.
"That's no good. You have to be careful." The girl in the witch hat said, sitting on her broom and holding her hat as she looked down at Mirai.
Said girl looked up at the girl on the broom and blinked in few times until she realized what she was seeing. A girl dressed as a witch riding on a broomstick just like a witch. She was looking at a witch right now. I repeat, she was looking at a witch.
"Well, goodbye." The witch said before her broomstick turned and floated away though she didn't get far for Mirai went and…
"MAHOUTSUKAI DA(YOU'RE A MAGICIAN)!" Mirai screamed loudly, shocking the witch and making her lose her balance on her broom. The young witch nearly fell to the ground, but managed to maintain control as Mirai ran up to her and started asking questions. "Is that a magic broom!? Wow, brooms can really fly!"
"Nani(Excuse me)?"
"That hat's pretty great too!"
'What is with this girl?' The witch couldn't help, but think.
"Last night, I saw you when you fell!" Mirai said.
What Mirai said got a reaction from the witch as she went and flew ahead of Mirai before landing and standing on her two feet.
"I didn't fall! That was just—!"
"I'm Asahina Mirai! 13 years old!" Mirai interrupted the witch to introduce herself. "I'll be a second-year at middle school!" After introducing herself, Mirai then struck out her hand. "Mahoutsukai-san(Ms. Magician), please be my friend, 'kay?"
"Eh?" The witch looked at Mirai and her outstretched hand in confusion before snapping out of her stupor. "I didn't ask for your name! I'm in a hurry at the moment so I can't spare time for you." After did she cleared her voice before holding her broom before her and spoke. "Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa!"
Like magic words, the broom glowed a faint pink glow before it floated right before the witch and the witch hopped right onto it, ready to take flight, but not without a few more words.
"Broom…Take Flight!" With those words did Mirai watch as the broom slowly get higher and higher into the air. Realizing that the magician was about to leave, Mirai went and grabbed the broom before it could take off, surprising the young witch. "H-Hey!"
"Matte(Wait)! Don't go!" Mirai said as she used all her might to pull the broom back while the young witch tried to escape. "At least talk to me!"
"Broom, fly!" The young witch almost begged as Mirai was starting to freak her out a bit. "Do your best and flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy~!"
With that, the broom rose up into the air along with Mirai who still had a holds on it. Mirai looked down below her in surprise to see the ground below getting smaller and smaller and smiled. She was in the air! She was flying, sort of! But then…
*Growl~!*
"My power's…" The witch muttered before she started getting dizzy.
A growling sound came from the witch's stomach and then, to Mirai's confusion and surprise, they were no longer flying but instead, they were falling. It took Mirai a second to realize this but before she could scream her lungs out, her pendant suddenly glowed and something from the witch's cloths glowed too. Both girls opened their eyes to find themselves floating, surrounding by color as something floated out of the witch's clothes. It was a jeweled pendant, the exact same one Mirai had albeit it was more purple in color while Mirai's was more pink. But that didn't change the fact that…
"They're the same!?" Both girls exclaim in surprise before suddenly…
*Growl~!*
The witch's smile growled again and the light that surrounded them vanished in an instant and both girls fell to the ground.
"Ite(Ow)…" Mirai groaned before looking at the witch who was blushing in embarrassment. "Are you…hungry?" The witch simply nodded and refused to make eye contact. Mirai simple smiled and got up to her feet. "Then I know just the place!"
"Eh?"
(Later)
Without hesitation, the witch sank her teeth into the pink colored bread in her hands and to her surprise, it wasn't that bad. In fact, it was pretty good.
"That strawberry melon-bread is sweet, crisp, and delicious, right?" Mirai asked as they had gotten their bread from a nearby bakery van called the Mofumofu Bakery.
"Yes." The witch admitted, nodding as she was more focused on filling her empty stomach.
"You're really hungry, huh?" Mirai asked, noticing how the witch was almost done with her bread.
"It's because I haven't eaten anything since last night."
"Eh!? That is totally not good for you!"
"Well, I had something I was looking for…"
"Something you were looking for?"
"Thanks for the bread." The witch said, finishing her bread.
"Are you full already?" Mirai asked.
"Yes."
"Then you can use magic now, right!?"
"Eh? Uh, yes…"
"Let's ride on the broom together!" Mirai said as she had enjoyed the feeling of being in the sky.
"We can't. It's only built for one." The witch said.
"Eh? Really?" Mirai slumped down, disappointed.
The witch looked at Mirai's disappointed expression before putting her hat back one and getting up. "Just once…"
"Eh?" Mirai looked up at the witch.
"You helped me with the food, so…I'll show you any magic you want, just once."
Mirai blinked before she smiled. She was about to see real magic!
The witch then took Mirai to a cat resting on a tree branch and asked, "How do you feel about talking to a cat?"
"That'd be cool!" Mirai said as the witch took out what Mirai guessed to be a wand. "Is that a magic wand?"
"Y-Yes."
"It's so cute!" Mirai commented as she touched the top of the wand which appeared to be a diamond in the shape of a star.
Trying to remained focused, the witch spoke. "Cure Up! Ra-Pa—!"
"Hey! You said that before, right!?" Mirai asked, interrupted the witch.
"They're the magic words." The witch said before saying, "You're ruing my mojo so could you please be quiet?"
"Ah! Gomenasai(I'm sorry)." Mirai apologized before remaining silent for the witch.
Now being able to concentrate, the witch raised her wand and said the magic words. "Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa!" And with those words alone did the wand light up. Pointing her wand at the cat, she said, "Cat, speak!"
A twinkle of light surrounded the cat before it started talking…oh wait, I meant barking for it sounded like a puppy.
"Wow! That's incredible! But we won't be able to talk like this." Mirai said as the witch's faces showed that this was not how it was supposed to go.
"N-Next time for real!" The witch said before speaking the magic words once again. "Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa!"
Light surrounded the cat again and this time it spoke, but… "Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!" It only spoke in blah's.
"It's saying blah, blah!" Mirai said. "But I don't know what he trying to say."
"Well, it's just…" The witch tried to think of an excuse, but none came to mind.
"Oh, I know!" Mirai then had an idea. "Can we try and speak to Mofurun?"
"Mofurun?"
Mirai held up her basket. "This teddy."
"Sorry, but I can't. Dolls don't have the ability to talk."
"Oh, is that so?" Mirai said. "That's disappointed to hear."
"Is this Mofurun important to you?" The witch asked as the two decided to just walk around for now.
"He is. My Oba-chan(Grandma) gave him to me when I was born. We've been together ever since…We're like siblings!" Mirai said as she held Mofurun in front of her, smiling. "If it were possible, I would love to talk with him."
The witch simply remained silent, looking at Mirai and her teddy and could instantly tell that the teddy really meant a lot to Mirai.
"But y'know, if I dropped Mofurun back there and never realized t, I would've…" Mirai hugged the teddy in her arms, afraid what would have happened if she never had realized she dropped Mofurun. "So again…I really, really have to thank you, Mahoutsukai-san!"
The witch was surprised at Mirai's thankfulness before calming down and lowering her hat before saying, "Riko."
"Eh?"
"My name, it's Riko."
"Ah! I'm Asahina Mirai!"
"You already told me that." The now named Riko said.
"Oh yea, I did." Mirai said, rubbing the back of her head.
"Well, I better get going." Riko said.
"Huh? Oh yeah, you said you had something you were looking for." Mirai said watching as Riko walked away before she came to a decision. "Okay! Where should we start looking?"
"Well, first we—wait, huh!?" Riko turned so fast that she must have whiplashed her head as walking next to her was Mirai.
"If you're looking for something, two heads are better than one!" Mirai said before she took out the pendant around her neck. "Besides, I wanna know why this was shining. Don't you?"
Riko simply looked down at the pendant around her neck. Honestly she too wondered why her pendant glowed earlier and why she and Mirai had the exact same pendant albeit different color. But before she could think more about it…
"Ladies and Gentlemen!" A young, loud voice spoke, making the girls jump in surprise before turning to see a small crowd gathered around up ahead. Curious as to what was going on, the girls went towards the ground to see that the people were gathered around a young man.
The young man appeared to be older than them, probably 15 years old. His hair was golden blond and his sky blue eyes seemed to glisten like a sparkling diamond. He was dressed in a tailcoat suit, the jacket and pants being black while the under shirt was red and bow tie black. A black top hat sat on top of his head as the whiteness of his teeth from his smile reflected the sun as he smiled at the crowd of people gathered before him. All in all, he had the looks of a young bishōnen(beautiful boy).
(BGM: Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V OST-Yuya's Theme)
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls! Step right up to witness that fantastic workings of magic!" The boy spoke in a loud voice for all to hear as he twirled a cane in his hand before he stopped and suddenly, the top part of the cane turned into a bouquet of flowers, surprising the kids and some of the adults as the young man gave the flowers to a random watcher who turned out to be Mirai. She took the flowers only for said flowers to suddenly poof into smoke before a flock of doves flew out, surprising the girl who fell to the ground. This ignited laughter as everyone's interest was now caught.
"Daijōbu(Are you alright)?" Riko asked, helping Mirai to her feet while also surprised by the flock of doves that had suddenly appeared.
"I'm okay." Mirai said before focusing on the show. "But wow! A Magic Show!"
"Now, for my first trick, I need a volunteer!" The young man said before looking through the crowd before stopping at the witch. "You! Dressed like a witch!"
"Eh? Me?" Said witch pointed to herself.
"That's right, come up here!" The young man said before he rolled up his sleeves and clapped his hands. He then opened them to reveal a deck of cards!
"What the!? How!?" Riko blinked in surprise. Where had those cards come from? They couldn't be from the sleeves for they were rolled up and the man wasn't even wearing gloves! So how-!?
"What's your name?" The young man asked suddenly, shuffling the deck.
"Eh? Uh…Riko. Izayoi Riko." The now named Riko said.
"Izayoi Riko, huh." Mirai muttered, taking note of Riko's last name.
"Izayoi, huh? Well then, Izayoi-san, my name is Nikoyaka Hoseki, yoroshiku ne(It's nice to meet you)." The now named Hoseki introduced himself before presenting Riko with a fan of cards. "Now then, pick any card you like. Go on."
A bit nervous with all the eyes watching her, Riko went and picked a card.
"Now then, show everyone your card please." Hoseki said and while confused as to what the young man was planning, Riko went and showed everyone her card, a Three of Hearts.
Hoseki then took the card back, shuffled the deck, and drew a card. "Is this your card?"
Riko looked at the card his hand. A Two of Hearts. "No, it's not."
"Oh really?" Hoseki said before he held the card up and blew at it. And before everyone's eyes, a third heart appeared form the side, slowly sliding in before the Two of Hearts card became a Three of Hearts card. "How about now?"
"EH!?" Riko snatched the card and looked at it in surprise and disbelief. How did that man do that!? It wasn't physically possible! Could he really be doing magic? But what about the magic words!?
"Sugoi(Amazing)!" Mirai said, her eyes twinkling with amazement before she raised her hand up. "Me next! Me Next!"
"Oh? Looks like we have another volunteer." Hoseki said before gesturing Mirai over and the girls happily skipped over to Hoseki. "And what is your name?"
"Asahina Mirai! I'm 13 years old and will be a second year in middle school!" Mirai happily introduced herself.
"Well, aren't we excited?" Hoseki noted Mirai's excitement.
"You bet I am! Oh, wakuwaku monda~a(This is so exciting)!"
"I like that excitement of yours! Alright then!" Hoseki then grabbed a hula-hoop and brought the ring over to Mirai where he placed it over Mirai, making sure Mirai's form got through the rind before he placed the ring on the ground with Mirai in the ring. Then, he grabbed it and threw it up and before everyone's eyes, curtains appeared around the ring and hid Mirai from view. "Now then, Asahina-san, if you please stick your hand out and close your eyes."
Mirai did as told and stuck her hand out and then closed her eyes. Hoseki then grabbed the hand before he brought out a Ring with the biggest gem everyone as ever seen, even Riko was surprised. He slipped the Ring on Mirai's hand before he brought the ringed hand over to his belt buckle where it was shaped like strange right hand.
DRESS UP! PLEASE!
His belt buckle glowed for a moment before light could be seen from within the curtains hiding Mirai. Once the light died down, Hoseki went and dropped the curtains letting everyone see Mirai. "Okay, open your eyes!"
Mirai did as told and opened her eyes. And to her surprise, she was no longer wearing her casual clothes, but instead, she was wearing a matching uniform that perfectly matched Riko's. "Wah! My clothes are just like Riko-chan's!"
"Eh!? How!?" Riko exclaimed in surprise.
"Thank you! Thank you!" Hoseki bowed to the audience who all clapped in amazement. "I'm glad you all enjoyed the show! Until next time, keep on smiling people!"
(BGM End)
The kids waved and said goodbye as their parents took them and left. Comments all around were about the magic show and each comment was positive, much to Hoseki's pleasure. Finally, it was now him and the girls left.
"That was amazing!" Mirai said, jumping over to Hoseki. "How did you do all that!?"
"A magician never reveals his secrets." Hoseki said with a playful smile. "Anyway, how about I change your clothes back." Just as those words left him, a red magic circle with circling runes and at the center was what appeared to be a face appeared under Mirai, to her and Riko's surprise.
"Wah! What the-!?"
"A magic circle!?" Riko exclaimed in surprise as the circle rose up and Mirai was now back in her regular clothes. She looked at Hoseki and asked, "Who are you?"
"Can't you tell?" Hoseki said before he raised one of his hands to show off a silver right with a Right Hand symbol on it, just like his belt buckle. "Ore wa mahoutsukai(I'm a wizard)."
"You're a mahoutsukai too!?" Mirai said before she started jumping in excitement. "This is awesome! I got to meet two mahoutski's in one day!"
"Too?" Hoseki raised an eyebrow,, having caught the word.
"Oh, that's right!" Mirai said before she grabbed Riko and pushed her forward, much to the witch's surprise and annoyance. "Riko-chan here is also a mahoutsukai!"
"Really?" Hoseki said as he looked at Riko from bottom to top.
"H-Hello." RIko said nervously, not knowing what else to say.
"You say you're a mahoutsukai, but I'm having a hard time believing that. Thus I need proof." Hoseki said before he pointed dramatically at Riko. "Izayoi-san, if you are indeed a mahoutsukai, then show me what you can do!"
"Uh…well…" Riko muttered nervously. After what she just saw him do to Mirai, how was she supposed to top that? She couldn't even get a cat to talk properly!
"My, my. To find a mahoutsukai in a place like this…" The three looked up to see a man with long purple hair. He wears jacket with the color being furred as he held in his hand a cane with a small skull head. "I am in the midst of searching for something, but would you terribly mind if I ask you about it? I concerns the Linkle Stone Emerald."
"Linkle Stone?" Both Mirai and Hoseki repeated in confusion when Riko suddenly walked towards the mysterious man.
"You know about the Linkle Stones!? Just who are—!?" Riko never got to say anymore when Hoseki went and grabbed her, pulling her back. "Hey! What's the big idea?"
"I would advise not getting to close, Izayoi-san." Hoseki said, his face sporting a serious expression as he looked at the mysterious man. "Something tells me you girls shouldn't get too close."
"Eh?"
"He's right." Mirai said as she stared at the man in wary nervousness. "I've got a scary feeling about this man."
"Now that's rude, young man. We were in the middle of a conversation." The man said. "One of the legends surrounding magic, the crystallization of untold power beyond mortal comprehension, the Linkle Stones."
'Is he talking about the Philosopher's Stone?' Hoseki thought.
"The one that we desire is the supreme light among them, The Linkle Stone Emerald." The man explaned. "I had previously felt an enormous power so I thought perhaps, if I were to investigate it, would I meet a mahoutsukai there? It certainly wouldn't be a coincidence. If you are privy to any information, you'll tell me, yes?" Suddenly, his appearance changed a little. His jacket opened up to reveal a black tuxedo like outfit with a big orange fur collar and a purple shirt under the tuxedo jacket. The tuxedo jacket has four gold buttons as well as a cross pattern across the front. He also now has a black and red cape coming from the fur collar; his boots are knee-high and also black. Finally, his ears were that of a bat and his eyes were crimson red.
Mirai stumbled back in shock at the 'man's' appearance as Hoseki quickly caught her before she could fall down.
"Who are you?" Hoseki asked, keeping the girls close.
"I am Batty. That is all you need to know." The now named Batty said.
"Batty, huh? Well, you're a first for me." Hoseki commented before he felt Riko grab his hand.
"Hang on tight you two."
"Eh?"
"Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa! Boom, take flight!"
"Whoa!" Before he could ask what she was doing, Mirai and Riko got on Riko's broomstick and said broomstick flew off with Hoseki hanging onto it.
"Even higher!" Riko commanded.
"I thought having two riders was a no-no!?" Mirai asked as they had three people on said broom. Well, two were on while the third was hanging onto it for dear life.
"Is this really the time!? I couldn't exactly leave you two behind!" Riko said as she flew through the trees. "Mou, what's this about? That thing is searching for the Linkle Stones?"
"And what are these Linkle Stones-wah!" Hoseki cried out in surprise when suddenly, the broomstick flew up even higher and Hoseki quickly grabbed onto the broom with both hands, not wanting to fall.
"We're flying!" Mirai smiled.
From behind the group, Batty flew up and quickly found the three runaways, scaring a crow who flew off in fright, leaving behind some feathers.
"Do you truly think you can escape from me?" Batty said as he grabbed on the feathers before turning to nearby construction truck. "Magic, infuse! Come forth, Yokubal!"
"Uh, girls?" Hoseki spoke up. "We've got company."
"Eh?" Both girls looked behind them and exclaimed in surprise and fright when shadowing over them was a monster that had the body of a truck, but had the wings of a crow as the face was a human skull with horns and a beak.
"YOKUBAL!"
"A spell to summon a monster!?" RIko said in surprise.
'…Eh, I could do better.' Hoseki thought, but decided not to voice out these thoughts.
"This is a Yokubal." Batty's voice mad the three go high alert as they looked around for the bat-man and found him hanging upside down from the bottom of the Yokubal. "Though since you only know dull magic, I doubt you could do this anyway. Now then, where is the Linkle Stone Emerald?"
Instead of answering, Riko commanded her broom, "Broom, go faster!" And faster the broom went as Hoseki hang on for dear life. "I wanna know that myself! I'm looking for it too!"
"Why are you running away instead of explaining that you don't know where these Linkle Stones are?" Hoseki asked before crying out in surprise as the broom turned to avoid an incoming tackle form the Yokubal. Soon after, the chase began as the Yokubal was surprisingly fast given its size, but Riko managed to fly around the city with expertise, avoiding building here and there.
"Riko-chan, you're amazing!" Mirai commented, amazed at Riko's flying abilities.
"R-Really?" Riko said as she mutters to herself, "Why am I flying better than usual? This is even the first time I've flown more than two people.
"Incoming!" Hoseki alerted the girls and they looked back to see the Yokubal coming in fast towards them.
Quickly, Riko directed the broom and barely dodged the Yokubal's tackle as they were caught in the pink colored smoke the Yokubal was spewing out. Suddenly, Mirai's teddy, Mofurun, flew out caused by the kicking winds.
"Mofurun!" Mirai cried out as she watched her precious teddy fly out but to her relief and surprise, Riko went and caught the teddy before it could get too far away. "Riko-chan!"
"That was close." Hoseki commented, already guessing that the teddy must be important to Mirai judging from the distress on her face earlier.
"YOKUBAL!"
Their moment of relaxation came to an end when the Yokubal flew past them so suddenly, causing Riko to be knocked off her broom.
"Shit!" Hoseki shouted.
"Riko-chan!" Without thinking, Mirai went and dived towards Riko, grabbing her hand in time that wasn't holding her precious Mofurun before her other hand was caught by Hoseki who quickly caught the girl and was now holding onto both girls while he held onto the broom which was still afloat, much to the young man's relief.
"Whew! That was close!" Hoseki breathed out before asking, "You two okay?"
"We're fine. How about you, Riko-chan?" Mirai asked.
"Y-Yeah. Thanks, you saved me." Riko said as she dared not to look down. They were pretty high up in the air.
"Oh my! Are you three alright?" The three looked up to see Batty and the Yokubal approach them. "It seems you're using all your strength to holding those two, young man,"
"Please, this is nothing." Hoseki said.
"Is that so? Well, anyways, why don't you three be good children and—"
"Matte(Wait)!" Riko spoke up. "These two have nothing to do with this!"
"That is for me to decide." Batty said. "Or perhaps…you'll continue to defy me? However, with both your hands occupied, you can't hold your wand. Ergo, you cannot use magic."
'Wait, magic wands are a thing?' Hoseki thought.
"Though really, if you did have the power to do something, you would have done it by now." Batty said before he started laughing.
'Okay, I really wanna knock his teeth out.' Hoseki thought, not liking the bat-man, but with both his hands occupied right now, he couldn't do anything. 'Do I take a chance and let go of the broom? My hands will be free so I'll have to work fast—"
"Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa!" Hoseki's thoughts were interrupted when Riko suddenly spoke the magic words. "Monster…Monster, go far away!"
Seeing Riko's struggle, Batty couldn't help, but laugh. "So you still had some nonsensical magic? And you're trying to send my Yokubal away with it?"
Riko just ignored Batty's laughter and instead, repeated her words. "Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa! Monster, go far away! Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa! Monster, go far away!"
"Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa!" Batty stopped laughing when someone else's voice spoke the magic words instead of Riko. That someone was none other than Mirai. "Monster, go far away! Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa! Monster, go far away!"
Seeing Mirai trying hard to help, Riko's determination increased and she started speaking again.
"Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa! Monster, go far away!"
"Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa! Monster, go far away!"
"Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa! Monster, go far away!"
"Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa! Monster, go far away!"
"You two…" Hoseki muttered as he watched the girls trying so hard.
"This is simply ridiculous." Batty said.
"Ridiculous?" Hoseki spike up as the girls continued to repeat the words. "You may see it as ridiculous, but these girls are trying their best to not give up hope. As long as they have hope, they'll never give up to the likes of you."
"Hope? How foolish." Batty said before he gave the Yokubal simple commands. "Yokubal, capture them."
"Shit." Hoseki said as he was about to let go of the broom in order to avoid the Yokubal when eh feklt Mirai's hand gripping his tightly and he looked down at the girls who shouted at the top of their lungs and said as one…
"Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa!"
*SHINE!*
"Nani(What the)!?" Hoseki exclaimed in surprise when a bright light seemed to appear from the earth and sky itself before light surrounded him and the girls.
He then witnessed the girls' pendants turning gold with the gem turning into diamond the minute Riko and Mirai were holding Mofurun. It took a moment to realize that Hoseki was no longer holding Mirai.
"This light! This power!" Batty exclaimed as he covered his eyes to the blinding light. Those are certainly…Linkle Stones!" While they were not the Linkle Stone Emerald he was looking for, that didn't change the fact that magic stones of unimaginable power were shining right before his eyes.
Suddenly, a rush of information rushed through the girls heads and they knew exactly what to do next as the light brought them and Hoseki down to the roof of a nearby building.
"You won't escape!" Batty said as the Yokubal gave chase.
"Here he comes." Hoseki said as he raised his ringed hand when suddenly…
"Cure Up! Ra-Pa-Pa!" Hoseki looked behind him to see the girls grasp each other's hands before light surrounded them, almost blinding him as Hoseki watched the process that was happening right in front of him.
"Dia!" Both girls announced as their pendants came off and flew right towards Mofurun where it connected to the bow on its chest before both girls grabbed the teddy's hands and then announced, "Miracle・Magical・Jewelryle!" Then, even more light shined so bright that it temporarily blinded Hoseki. Rubbing his eyes, Hoseki opened them and slowly, his vision came back and stared at the sight of the girls now transformed!
"Futari no kiseki(Our miracle)! Cure Miracle!" Mirai announced.
"Futari no mahou(Our magic)! Cure Magical!" Riko announced.

Her gloves are purplish-black and reach her elbows as well as purplish-black boots with purple toe-tips. Like Cure Miracle, she also wears gold bracelets.
"Mahou Tsukai PreCure!" Both girls announced who they were as the lights finally faded, letting the world see who they now were.
"YOKUBAL!" The Yokubal cried out as it went to tackle the girls, but the new pair of Pretty Cures simply jumped to avid the attack as Hoseki was left to duck under the Yokubal.
"Pretty Cure…Pretty Cure!?" Batty exclaimed in surprise and for good reason.
"Cure…Miracle?" Mirai muttered in confusion.
"Cure…Magical?" Riko muttered, also confused.
"Impossible…those two…are Pretty Cure!? The magicians of legend, Pretty Cure!?" Batty began as his Yokubal attacked again. The girls in a semi-trance moved out of the way at the same time, twirling around before they struck the Yokubal from behind with a double roundhouse kick which sent it flying down to the roof of a building.
Hoseki whistled as he watched the fight. "Those girls…Looks like the legacy of Pretty Cure hasn't died out yet."
Pretty Cures, female warriors that have appeared all over Japan, defending the island country and the world time and time again. People had thought that the warriors known as Pretty Cures had died down or simply retire for there hasn't been a sighting of said warriors for some time now. In fact, the last sighting of Pretty Cures was 30 years ago.
"Did we…?" Mirai began.
"Just do that?" Riko finished.
"Those girls who were using all their might just to float on a broom are Pretty Cure?" Batty exclaimed. "I refuse to believe this! Yokubal"!
"YOKUBAL!"
Under Batty's command, the Yokubal stood up on his wheels and clenched its wings into fists before charging straight towards he girls. They both quickly jumped out of the way of a punch before the Yokubal set its sights in Mirai and went to punch her only for Riko, using her broom as a boost, dropped kicked the Yokubal, stopping it from attacking Mirai who soon got out of the way via broom before Riko jumped off the Yokubal before it could retaliate.
Riding the broom, Mirai flew where Riko could land on the broom before they jumped out of the way of a swing from the Yokubal before it jumped towards them. But the girls were one step ahead of it as the broom flew behind them and their feet landed against it before they jumped off of it, flying straight towards the Yokubal as they announced as one.
"Monster, go far away!" They both shouted as they both threw their fists and struck the beak of the Yokubal, cracking it before sending the monster crashing down.
"Impossible! They took down my Yokubal!?" Batty exclaimed in disbelief.
Hoseki couldn't help, but whistle. "I can see how Pretty Cures are this world's champion warriors."
Batty turned to Hoseki, remembering that he was with the girls as well. He glanced back at the Pretty Cures who landed on the roof of the building the Yokubal had crashed down on before glancing back at the young man before an idea formed in his head. While it was ungentlemanly and not what he was looking for, a Linkle Stone was still a Linkle Stone. No doubt it would aid his master greatly. And to do that…
"Yokubal! Capture that boy!" Batty commanded, aiming his cane at Hoseki.
Even with a broken beak, the Yokubal did as told and flew straight towards Hoseki.
"Eh!?" Riko exclaimed in surprise, having not expected Batty to suddenly attack Hoseki.
"Hoseki-san!" Mirai cried out as the broom stick flew towards them to give them a lift in order to save the man they just met today.
DEFEND! PLEASE!
Only for a magic circle to appear in front of Hoseki before a shield of energy formed and the Yokubal slammed right into it before it was repelled back.
The girls responded with a, "Eh?" While Batty exclaimed in surprise with a, "Nani(What)!?"
"Trying to take me hostage because your little monster lost? Talk about being a sore loser." Hoseki said as the magic circle in front of him disappeared and he lowered his hand, telling everyone that he was the one who conjured up the magic shield.
"Mahou(Magic)?" Batty said in surprise and confusion for he didn't see a magic wand on the man so how did he use magic?
"If we're all here happy to display magic, then maybe I should join in on the fun." Hoseki said as he switched the Ring in his right hand for a different one before holding it up for everyone to see before he placed it in front of his belt buckle.
DRIVER ON! PLEASE!
Suddenly, a small magic circle appeared in front of the buckle before said buckle became a silver metallic belt with the hand buckle still there in the center. Hoseki then touched the two levers to the side and shifted them, making the right hand into a left hand as the belt spoke.
SHABADOOBIE, TOUCH TO HENSHIN! SHABADOOBIE, TOUCH TO HENSHIN!
"What is that annoying sound?" Batty said.
"Hoseki-san?" Mirai and Riko looked at Hoseki in confusion and in anticipation for what he was going to do.
The man himself then took out another ring with the biggest red ruby they've ever seen! And for some reason, it had a visor as Hoseki pushed down on said visor before he said the magic word. And yes that pun was intended.
"Henshin." Hoseki said before he placed the ruby ring in front of the belt.
FLAME! PLEASE! HI! HI! HI, HI, HI!
Hoseki then then posed his hand to the left and a full red magic seal surrounded by fire appeared, surprising everyone as the magic circle passed over him, covering him in fire before the flames dispersed to reveal Hoseki donned in armor.
From head to toe, Hoseki was clad in a black body suit which concealed his form. The belt stayed the same, but now he has a chain of silver rings that were hanging on by his sides. His chest was covered with red gem-like armor which was a long line down the middle with three sections on each side that were rectangular, but slightly askew. His shoulders were covered in black armor with silver edges that were decorated with dragon-like crests. From his waist hung a robe-waist covering which was red inside, but black on the outside. His wrists and ankles now sported bands that were the same ruby red color as his chest plate. Finally, his head was concealed by a silver helmet which had a ruby red faceplate decorated like the ring he wore on his left hand, sporting metal lines making it appear as if he had large eyes with an antennae rising from the forehead.
"N-Nani!?" Batty exclaimed in surprise as he and the girls stared at Hoseki in surprise with mouths open in shock.
"H-Hoseki-san!?" Mirai exclaimed.
"Is that you!?" Riko said as she could practically feel magic brimming from him!
"What's wrong? Magic got your tongue?" Hoseki said.
"Wha-What are you!? Who are you!?" Batty demanded.
"You want to know who I am?" Hoseki said before he started to pose dramatically. "I am called by many names! Some call me the Diamond of Justice in the Rough of Oppression! The Jewel of Hope unearthed from the Sands of Despair! My enemies know me as the Yubiwa no Mahoutsukai(Ring-Bearing Wizard)!"
"Yubiwa…?" Riko began.
"No…?" Batty continued.
"Mahoutsukai?" Mirai finished.
"But to my allies, my friends, I go by one name and one name only." Hoseki said. "I am Kamen Rider…Wizard!"
In the same order…
"Kamen…?"
"Rider…?"
"Wizard!?" Mirai exclaimed in surprise. The boy she just met today was a Kamen Rider!? One of Earth's greatest warriors and heroes surrounded in mystery!? A being which hasn't been seen for the past 30 years!?
Then, Hoseki announced as if telling the entire world…
"Sa, ladies and gentlemen, Showtime da!(Now, ladies and gentlemen, it's Showtime)!"
And…done! Wow, this took longer than I thought! Hope you all liked today's preview! Now I bet you're wondering about the whole '30 year' thing. Well, you know how in Go Princess the girls became adults in the end? Well, I'm using that time gap though I might change it in the future, who knows? Anyway, how did you like my OC for this crossover? With his name meaning Smiling Jewel, I hope you all liked him.
Now, due to some circumstances, I won't be able to update any of my stories for a while, so sorry. I will try and come back as soon as I can! Until then, please wait for me! This has been Ashbel Longhart here, signing out.
