Smile Pretty Cure: Spiritual Happiness
(Insert Ghost by Mystery Skulls)
As the song begins, we see a girl running through the woods. With a picture book she made by hand, the girl looks around, as if searching for something, or someone.
'Cause the world might do me in
It's alright 'cause I'm with friends
The girl looks and looks, but she find no sign of the girl she had befriended.
Guess I'm giving up again
It doesn't matter (Ooh ooh ooh)
The girl pouts in sadness. With no other choice, the girl turns back. Only one problem: She's lost and it's getting dark.
Had me feeling like a ghost
And that's what I hate the most
Guess I'm giving up again
Alone and scared, the girl begins to panic as she starts running around, hoping to find an exit. In her panic, she trips over a stump and falls. But the second her body slams into the ground, the ground gives way, sending the girl falling down a deep hole.
This time
The girl screams as she plummets down the hole. She flails her arms and legs and she continues to fall...
(This time)
And fall...
(This time)
And fall...
This time I might just disappear
Until a gust of wind sweeps under her, catching her and saving her from slamming right into the ground and from what might have been her death.
(Woah Oooh oh oh)
Shaking her head to get rid of the dizziness, the girl looks up to find herself in some sort of ancient temple. How such a structure got buried underground, her small child mind could not even guess.
This time I might just dis-
(Mo mo mo mo moah, mo mo mo mo moah)
Slowly getting up, the young girl looks around until suddenly, rising from the ground were black figures in hoods, moving around erratically. Naturally scared, the girl runs down a random hall.
AH YEAH
More black figures appear in front of her and the girl is forced to run a different direction.
(Mo mo mo mo moah, oooh)
This time I might just disappear
(Woah oooh oh oh)
As the girl continues to run, more strange begin to happen around her. Light bulbs are lit up by themselves even though they should be good as dead, paintings on the walls start to move, and from the shadows, the girl swore she saw glowing eyes staring right at her. At this point, the girl was crying as she continued to run.
This time I might just dis-
(Mo mo mo mo moah, mo mo mo mo moah)
AH YEAH
(Mo mo mo mo moah)
Suddenly, the girl trips and is sent flying, crashing against a metal door. The pain of the crash made her cry some more, but she then hears the groans of the black figures approaching from behind her. Quickly, she gets up, opens the door which had opened when she slammed into it and closed it behind her quickly. Slowly backing away, she was too late to notice the stairs behind her and fell down. She rolled and tumbled before finally stopping on dusty and dirt ground. Alone, scared, and covered in dirt, the girl was about to start crying for ehr grandmother when something started glowing. Sniffing, the girl turns to see a stone monolith with a strange eye carving on it. It was that eye that was glowing a faint orange color. Sniffing against to prevent snot form falling from her nose, the girl gets up and approaches the monolith.
Try and hear me, then I'm done
Using a pile of stones as leverage, the young girl made it up to the eye where she saw what looked like a mechanical eye embedded into the center of the eye carving. Curious, the girl went and touched it, only for a shock to go through her, surprising her as she fell down. The girl groans and rubs her bottom when the mechanical eye sudden drops onto her lap, having fallen from the monolith. The girl smiles, thinking she has discovered something great and plans to later show it to her grandmother once she found a way to leave.
'Cause I might just say this once
Suddenly, there was a *bang!* against the metal door, surprising the door as she turns and sees the black figures have knocked down the door, the only thing that stood between her and the mysterious figures.
Seen this play out in my dream
It doesn't matter
(Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm)
Scared once more, the girl backs up against the monolith as the black figures approach her. Looking left and right, the girl tries to find any way to escape, but their was none. She was trapped.
Tired of giving up the ghost
Fuck, it's you I hate the most
Seeing that there was no way out, the girl falls to her knees and curls up, holding the mechanical eye in her hands as she closes her eyes and waits for her doom.
Maybe there's no guarantee
As the black figures surround the girl and advance ever so closer, the mechanical eye in the girl's hands starts to glow softly and beat.
It doesn't matter
In tune with the beat, the beating of the eye becomes faster and faster as the figures get closer to the girl. Then, the eye begins to glow brightly like a star, surprising the girl as something appears from the eye and punches one of the figures way.
This time I might just disappear
As the light dies down, the girl looks up to see what had appeared and widens her eyes in surprise. Standing before her and the black figures was an armored man.
He wore a black bodysuit but that was hard to see for it was covered by black pieces of armor that covered his chest, arms, and legs. Running along those pieces of armor were orange lines that shaped to resemble bones. On his chest armor was a white eye with the center having a 'flare' on it. Now over the armor was the strangest thing. The man wore a black parka with orange trimmings. Over his head was a black helmet, with the hood of the parka over it, with a full orange visor with two 'eye' holes and on top of his forehead was a single horn. Finally, around the man's waist was a strange-looking belt.
(Woah oooh oh oh)
This time I might just dis-
(Mo mo mo mo moah, mo mo mo mo moah)
The armored man in a hood relaxes his stance and turns to the girl, staring at the mechanical eye in her hands. It was glowing faintly compared to before and the girl was too busy staring up at the man in amazement and a bit of fear. After all, the armored man appeared similar to the black figures surrounding them. The only difference was the added glowing colors.
AH YEAH
(Mo mo mo mo mo, oooh)
Suddenly, one of the figures attacks, the man responds quickly, catching the armor before punching the figure back. Staring one last time at the girl, the man pulls out a sword from his belt before engaging the black figures.
This time I might just disappear
(Woah oooh oh oh)
This time I might just dis-
(Mo mo mo mo moah, mo mo mo mo moah)
AH YEAH
(Mo mo mo mo mo)
With his sword, the man cuts down the black figures one by one. The lights of his suit seem to create an arc of light every time he moved and the girl, while scared, found herself memorized. And what kid wouldn't be? the lights were pretty.
This time I might just disappear
Suddenly, the setting changes. Gone was the girl and the black figures. The hooded armored man was now fighting a different enemy. His figure was hard to make out as it was covered in darkness.
(Woah oooh oh oh)
This time I might just dis-
(Mo mo mo mo moah, mo mo mo mo moah)
Ah yeah
(Mo mo mo mo mo, oooh)
With each wielding similar looking swords, the two trade blows as their swords clashed against one another, throwing sparks everywhere. With flames and the ruins of the temple around them, their battle was a fierce one.
This time I might just disappear
(Woah oooh oh oh)
Suddenly, the mysterious enemy begins to take the upper hand. He knocks the hooded man's sword out of his hands before slashing against the chest with his own. Sparks flew as the sword struck his armor.
This time I might just dis-
(Mo mo mo mo moah, mo mo mo mo moah)
The hooded man is now on his knees, weakened.
Ah yeah
(Mo mo mo mo mo, oooh)
Looking down at him, the mysterious enemy raises his sword, ready to deliver the finishing blow. Under the helmet of the hooded man was the face of a young 15 year old boy who could do nothing, but stare in hopelessness as his enemy brought down his sword and he was killed.
This time I might just disappear
In a flash, the scene changes and we are now back to the present.
Ah yeah
(Woah oooh oh oh)
With one final slash, the hooded man, or rather preteen struck down the last of the black figures. Now, it was just him and the girl.
This time I might just dis-
(Mo mo mo mo moah, mo mo mo mo moah)
Ah yeah
(Mo mo mo mo mo, oooh)
The girl can only stare at her armored savior as he approaches her. Kneeling down, the boy offers a hand to help the girl up and slowly, the girl reaches out her hand.
This time I might just disappear
But just as her hand was about to grab the boy's offered one, her hand passes through it, surprising both her and the armored teen.
(Woah oooh oh oh)
The two stare at their respective hands in surprise before looking at one another in surprise and confusion. Suddenly, the mechanical eye in the girl's hand glows more brightly, drawing the two's attention as the girl holds it up.
This time I might just dis-
(Mo mo mo mo moah, mo mo mo mo moah)
AH YEAH
(Mo mo mo mo mo)
The eye in the girl's hands glows and beats like a heart. Staring down at the eye for a moment, both the girl and the boy look up and stare at one another, feeling a connection between to the two through the eye in the girls hands.
Thus, that is how young Hoshizora Miyuki met Miyamoto Yuri, a ghost.
(End Song)
(Years Later)
Sakura trees. Both beautiful and an obvious sign of the Spring season. And with Spring comes the beginning of a new school year for the young people around Japan. It was on this Spring day that young, 14 year old Hoshizora Miyuki...
"I'm late! I'm late!"
...was late for her first day of school.
"I told you. You should've taken that shortcut I mentioned earlier."
Now Miyuki wasn't what you would call normal. Sure, she was a normal girl in junior high who liked picture books and the like. But if there was one thing that set her apart from others was her special friend floating right at her side, Miyamoto Yuri, the mysterious armored ghost which only she could see. Despite the armor making it hard to tell Yuri's age, from the sound of his voice, he hasn't changed since the day Miyuki met him all those years ago.
"Should I call Striker to give you a lift?" At Yuri's suggestion, the faint cry of a horse could be heard from somewhere, but Miyuki declined the offer.
"No thanks. Besides, the weather's quite nice today. I'm pumped! Something ultra happy might happen if I take my time to enjoy all this!"
"Even though you're running late for school?"
"T-That's beside the point!" Miyuki gave a weak reply as she turned a corner and continued to book it to school. Seeing the distance, she was starting to rethink her decision of declining Yuri's previous offer. Not many could could claim that they've rode on an actual ghost horse and Striker was such a good boy.
"~kuru!"
"Huh?" Miyuki stops running and looks around confused.
"Yuri, did you say something?"
"I didn't say anything."
"Then who just...?"
"~kuru!"
"Eh?" Hearing the strange cry again, Miyuki and Yuri both look up to see something coming towards them.
"A bird? No, a crow?" Miyuki guessed, squinting her eyes to see more clearly.
"No, it's...a book?" From behind his helmet, Yuri blinks in confusion at the book flapping its sides like bird wings.
Suddenly, from the pages of the book, something appears from it and cries out, "~Kuru!"
"Eh!?" Miyuki cries out in surprise as the creature form the book was about to crash right into Miyuki's face when suddenly, it was stopped by something.
"Kuru? I'm floating?" The creature said, confused as an orange glow surrounded it.
"You could have ducked, you know?" Yuri said as he used poltergeist to catch the book the creature had come from before moving said creature away from Miyuki before releasing it.
"Eh he he..." Miyuki just laughs lightly before she and Yuri finally get a good look at what stood before them.
From the voice alone, the two could tell the creature before them was a female. It has pink fur, but toned down so much that it looked white to the naked eye unless you really looked closely, along with two curly yellow pigtail-like ears held with pink bows. Her eyes are dark blue, with yellow markings in the shape of wings near her eyes. She has pink and yellow heart-shaped markings on her forehead as well. Her arms and legs are stubby, and she has a frilled pink collar around her neck. Her tail is yellow and curly, like her ears.
"What is it?"
"I don't know..." Miyuki said before she smiled brightly. "But it's so cute!"
"Kuru!?" Before the small creature could move, Miyuki grabbed her and started to snuggle with it.
"Aw, you're so cute!" Miyuki exclaimed again before she looked at it and asked, "Are you a puppy? A kitten? A raccoon?"
"I think it's a sheep."
"Oh yeah, you're right." Miyuki said, looking at the creature's ears before asking, "What's you're name?"
The creature suddenly jumps out of Miyuki's hands before introducing herself.
"I'm Candy~kuru! Candy is a fairy from the Kingdom of Fairy Tales, Märchenland~kuru!"
"Kingdom of Fairy Tales? You're a fairy?" Miyuki asked before she started squealing in excitement. "Kya! This is just like my picture books! A fabulous encounter! A fairy! A fairy!"
"Oi. Miyuki, calm down."
"But Yuri! It's a fairy! An actual fairy! I can't help, but feel excited!"
"You weren't like this when you met me."
"Well the circumstances of our meeting was quite scary at the time."
"True, true. Still haven't found out why I was there in the first place." At that did Yuri glance over at Miyuki's bag.
Inside Miyuki's school bag was the mechanical eye she had found at that underground temple all those years ago. Yuri, the mysterious ghost which had saved her, did not remember just how he became a ghost or what the mysterious armor he wore was. It was a mystery that had yet to be solved to this day.
"We'll find out how you became a ghost, Yuri, trust me! I still owe you for saving me, after all." Miyuki said with a reassuring smile.
"I know." From behind his helmet, Yuri smiles back in appreciation. "By the way, that fairy's gone."
"Eh!?" True to Yuri's words, when Miyuki turned back to where Candy was, the fairy was no longer standing there.
"Eh? No way. And I was hoping we could become friends." Miyuki said, a little depressed.
"Hey, cheer up." Yuri said, using his poltergeist to pick up the book Candy had appeared from and levitated it over to Miyuki's waiting hands. "That little thing left this. I'm sure if you hold onto it, you might just meet it again."
"Maybe you're right." Miyuki said, smiling excitedly at the thought of meeting the fairy known as Candy again.
"I have a feeling something ultra-happy might happen!" Miyuki exclaimed excitedly...until she heard the sound of the school bells in the distance. "Ah! School..."
"You sure you don't want Striker?" Yuri asked, smirking behind his helmet as he looked down at Miyuki and crossed his arms.
"...onegai(please)." Miyuki said, relenting.
Smirking victoriously behind his helmet, Yuri raised two fingers to his helmet, where his mouth might be at, and whistled loudly. To this day, Miyuki still has no idea how her friend does that.
Seconds later, there was a horse cry before Miyuki cried out in surprise when rising from the ground right under her and thus lifting her up was a semi-transparent black horse. It's mane and tail were just as black as its coat and it had ominous blue glowing eyes.
Miyuki took a moment to calm down before she smiles and strokes the horse's neck.
"Ohaiyo(Good morning), Striker-kun." The now identified Striker neighed as Yuri got on the ghost horse, sitting right behind Miyuki.
"Alright, Striker, let's hurry and get Miyuki to school!" Yuri said, patting the ghost horse's side a few times before Striker was off towards the school.
Unknown to Miyuki or Yuri, their meeting with Candy was just the beginning of a much bigger experience. Having found Yuri years ago, his and Miyuki's destiny are now intertwined, and the beginning of a new story shall now commence. This is the story of five girls...and a single ghost.
And...done! So there, this is my preview/trailer for the new Smile PreCure x KR Ghost story. With the new Star Twinkle, I had to make some changes, as some of you might already know. Not a lot is shown, which is what I wanted. The beginning was something I had in my head for a while and so I decided, why not write it out? Now having wrote it out, I'm not so sure about it, but hey, it's got to have caught your attention, right? The details of Miyuki's meeting with my new OC, Miyamoto Yuri. Not a lot was shown here so I didn't get to show off a lot of Yuri's personality, but it's something I'll work on later. Anyway, that's all I have to say right. I hope you all enjoyed this little preview/trailer I put together. This has been Ashbel Longhart here, signing out.
