So hello, here is the fifth chapter. I've gotten questions about my plans about order 66 from a few people from reviews and a few PMs. My answer is that you all will have to wait and see as I do have a plan. As for my other fics I will have to wait to get my old hard drive back as all my saved files were mostly lost when my computer fried, though some of it was saved on the cloud so I have an idea about what direction I was going with some of them. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on your opinion I will be rewriting some of the old ones. I will be able to get my old hard drive after new years so that is around when I'll start with that. Now on to this chapter that has ties to in my opinion the shitty Disney show resistance, but I am going slightly of the script and bringing in a Sith lord that many of people may not be aware of. One that was way after Naruto's time but very disturbing. This chapter is going to be shortish.

Ch.5 Old Monsters

-Outpost next to temple-

Naruto stood in front of the opening in the temple while the troopers were milling around searching the deserted outpost. Naruto could tell that many of the residents of the outpost went into the temple judging by the many footprints left in the mud leading to the temple. Though there were a few smaller prints leading into the forest. Naruto motioned for the clones to stop their search and to form up on him. He ordered two of the three squads with him to follow the footprints leading away from the outpost and find the ones who made them, the remaining squad and Gaz were to follow him inside the temple.

The ten troopers and Jedi entered the crumbling temple with Naruto in the lead. Judging by the architecture and artwork, Naruto guessed that this temple was older than him, most likely from the time of Naga Sadow. Though to Naruto the temple felt corrupted by the dark side of the force.

"I have a bad feeling about this sir." Said Gaz slightly unnerved that the feeling the temple gave off.

"It's making me uneasy as well Gaz, spread the men out, teams of three minus myself and you. Keep the coms open incase of any trouble, be advised that there may be traps here." Gaz spread the word and the groups split up to search the temple. Naruto and Gaz went deeper into the southern part of the temple. An hour into their search they entered a chamber that Naruto guessed was a meditation chamber and both were shocked to find remains of something neither of the two had seen before. The body looked like a poorly made half organic and half cyborg/android. Though the organic part of the creature's face showed it to be in extreme pain before it expired, leading away from the body was a blood trail. Naruto and Gaz followed the trail to a dilapidated room not too far way to find a dead human male with a broken blade protruding from his chest and half of his head missing. Though the body looked like someone had started to transform it into a mutated cyborg, though whoever it was decided to end whatever the transformation was by killing himself. Naruto now looking very uneasy spread the word to have their weapons at the ready, something else may be down here other than the missing people. Naruto began to search the corpse finding a barely functional blaster, an old data pad, some credits, tools, and what looked like some small homemade explosives. Naruto not finding anything else picked up the data pad and switched it on, it took a few minutes to boot up but eventually Naruto was going through unorganized files. Many were maintenance files a few were personal, but what caught Naruto's eye was a file containing a few articles speaking about strange occurrences around the temple had been unearthed by an earthquake. Apparently the people living in the outpost began to experience strange whisperings from nowhere to enter the temple, another thing was the terrible nightmares that plagued them. A few people went mad from the unnatural happenings, though the last straw for the townsfolk happened to be when some children went missing. The townsfolk planned to send the remaining children away to an old cave with the elders and the adults were to enter the temple and destroy it with explosives. This was dated as a week ago and honestly Naruto figured that the people that came to destroy the temple woke something up, and whatever that was killed them all.

Naruto stood up and sealed away the data pad, he motioned a Gaz to follow him back to the room with the creature. Naruto began to examine it closely finding that the creature seemed to have metal appendages that seemed to strangely look like they grew out of the body instead of being attached. Two hours went by while Naruto examined the creature and all but one group of clones checked in saying that their search had scrounged up nothing of importance. Naruto tried to call the other group but their communication equipment was either being blocked or it was destroyed.

Naruto not liking the inability to communicate ordered all groups to meet back up at the entrance, when everyone minus the three clones regrouped Naruto led everyone towards the area where the missing clones had gone to search what they found worried them. Dried blood was splattered along the walls and the floor, but there were no bodies anywhere. The group explored further eventually stepping into a large open room

"What in the hell.." said Gaz as he looked on in disbelief at the sight before him.

Around the room were scattered and desecrated corpses of many of the missing people from the outpost along with the bodies of the missing clones, but the armor the clones were supposed to have on was shattered and their skin was exposed in most places. What disturbed both Naruto and Gaz the most was that the clones looked similar to the corpse that they had found in the southern side of the temple. The thing that really caught Naruto's attention was that there was a small Sith spire that had an opening at the base that had a very large amount of blood leading from it.

Naruto suddenly saw movement in the shadows and ignited his lightsaber startling the clones around him. Though they too saw what he did and raised their weapons. The being that stepped out of the shadow was a child, though it looked like the poor thing had been forcefully turned into a cyborg. The child sprang into action launching itself at the nearest clones and slashed at them with the blades that had looked like they had grown out of its arms. The child cut through two of the clones and stabbed another before Naruto reluctantly cut it in two. When Naruto did that, many of the dead bodies twitched and rose from the ground. Naruto began to cut down the risen corpses with ease but hesitated as the dead clones also rose to try to kill them. Naruto after a second cut them down as well. When all the things were now effectively dead, he turned his attention to the wounded clones who were thrashing on the ground and screaming in pain like they were being burned alive. Naruto suddenly saw what looked like splotches of metal growing on their faces, now slightly understanding what was happening told the other four clones to back away and Naruto put the three out of their misery. This shocked the other clones who were outraged until Naruto pointed out something.

"Hold your judgement until I explain what is happening. All these people seem to be infected by something. Your brothers were infected by it when they were stabbed by the child. If I were to take a wild guess this is a virus enhanced by Sith alchemy. You can see it on their faces and skin, somehow metal was growing inside their bodies. I'm sorry for their deaths but whatever it is appears to be fast acting and very painful. They had no chance of recovery, and I didn't want to risk any of you to get infected by whatever this is. Please forgive me for my actions, but for now the object here is to survive our mission and destroy the cause of this anomaly." Said Naruto with his head bowed.

"The Sith can make things like this sir?" asked one of the clones.

"I'm unsure if the Sith that are around now know how to do this, but the Sith of my time were known to do things like this." Said Naruto while studying the spire.

'What do you think Kurama?'

'This reeks of Sith alchemy, whatever created these monsters must be destroyed before it has a chance to spread into the galaxy. I recommend you remove your troops from the situation and go in alone. I can purge the infection from you but your friends do not have that luxury.'

'I agree, though I would extend the destruction to the Jedi temple as it has long since been corrupted by the dark side.'

'Agreed'

"Alright listen up, whatever this infection is needs to be eradicated, my decision is to totally destroy this Sith temple and bury the remains underneath the ruins of this temple. Now I need you to leave and find the two squads searching the forest."

"Are you sure that is a good idea doing this alone sir?" asked Gaz.

"No, but I don't want to risk any more of you being infected by whatever this is."

"What happens if you get infected sir?"

"Well if I end up being infected, I will try to use the force to purge it from my body, but if that fails I will bury myself in these temples." Naruto said knowing full well he was lying, but he wasn't about to tell his troops something he hasn't even told his padawans. That was information that he was going to take to his grave.

"I still don't like this sir, but I will obey your orders." Said Gaz reluctantly motioning the other three clones to follow.

Naruto stepped through the opening at the base of the spire and walked down the stairway that led to a hallway which split into two directions.

Naruto made six clones and had three go each direction. Naruto heard electricity arcing from both directions and he received memories from two of the clones. Naruto himself decided to take the path to the right and made sure to watch where he stepped. Naruto walked down the corridor for a while hearing strange noises every once in a while, yet he didn't see or sense anything around him that was living or otherwise, maybe it was a droid.

-CLANK-

Startled by whatever it was Naruto ignited his lightsaber, and with the added light Naruto could see what caused the ruckus. Collapsed in a corner was something that made his hair stand on end. It was skeletal remains from what looked like a human that had way too many cybernetic implants, but the cybernetic parts didn't look like they were attached by normal means. They almost looked grown on. The thing was still moving slightly but time had rotted away all the being's organic parts, effectively making it quite useless. Naruto swiftly cut it in two and returned to exploring the passageway. At the end of the hallway Naruto found a large room filled with ancient looking machines many of which were in pieces, though the few that were still operational looked to be making something. Naruto paused as all his clones had popped. The two that went the opposite way found nothing out of the ordinary other than an old trap that grinded its victims to paste and some sort of contraption that had long since run out of power. They decided to plant explosives leading from the contraption to the stairway and when they were finished, they dispelled themselves. The other two clones were destroyed by something else farther into the room he was in.

"So a Jedi has found the remains of my legacy. Tell me Jedi, what do you think of my creations even if they are a shadow of themselves?" Asked a distorted female voice.

Naruto froze, he sensed three living beings close and he also sensed that the dark side of the force was all around the room. "I assume you killed the villagers?"

"Some yes, but what I did to the rest didn't kill them, but transformed them into loyal servants. I am very curious to know how you haven't turned yet… you've been breathing in the spores but you aren't affected. Very interesting." Said the voice drawing closer.

"I'm sorry to disappoint, but I will be putting a permanent end to you and your experiments." Said Naruto splitting his lightsaber and igniting both sabers. The added light revealed a small figure with glowing yellow eyes. Naruto guessed this was one of the children that went missing, but Naruto still was on guard as the Dark Side was emanating from the child.

"What a shame, you would have been a wonderful specimen… oh well, what is your plan I wonder? You seem to not want to harm this child, but I have no problem using her to kill you. Know your death was caused by the Dark Lord Belia Darzu, reborn to terrorize the galaxy once more." Said the Sith advancing towards Naruto with lightning arcing from the child's fingers.

Naruto sealed away his sabers and unsealed his staff as what the Sith said was true, he didn't want to hurt the child, but he would defend himself. Naruto also made a few dozen clones to scatter over the area placing sealing tags all around the area. While his clones did as they were commanded Naruto ducked under a blast of Sith lightning and flipped over the child swinging his staff at the child's legs when he landed. The child ignited a small red lightsaber and blocked his staff. Naruto assumed that the lightsaber belonged to the Sith lord and backed away, planning his next move. He didn't really have to wait long as the possessed child leapt towards him which he side stepped and used the force to push her into a wall.

The Sith lord cursed as the child's body was blasted into a wall and the saber knocked away from her hands. Naruto quickly restrained the child with ninja wire. Naruto then ordered his clones to search for the other two life forms he sensed while he prepared to do something rather painful.

The possessed child thrashed around trying to get free, though she was unsuccessful. "I recognize you now, there were legends of you from the time of Malgus. The Bane of the Sith they called you, the boogeyman to the Sith, we all feared you, but you vanished and were never seen again. Tell me how are you here now?"

"That shouldn't be your concern right now." Said Naruto as he placed his hand on the child's forehead. Immediately Naruto could hear both the child and Belia screaming in agony and he too was in great pain. He never got used to this technique as it was a powerful force purification procedure that he only used when he was short on time. Three minutes later the Sith's spirit was forcibly ejected from the child and was immediately trapped in place by the dozens of glowing sealing tags all over the chamber.

Naruto slumped over breathing hard, he slowly looked up and saw a dark humanoid shadow with glowing yellow eyes suspended in the air a few meters away. Naruto checked the child and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw she was breathing, he also saw that two of the clones came back holding two other children that were both unconscious. Naruto slowly sat up and handed the child to one of the clones, he then ordered them to take the children from the temple while he finished up. Once the clones had left Naruto turned his attention to the struggling mass of shadow that was the spirit of Belia.

"Struggle all you want Sith you will not escape. Now tell me how you got to this temple."

"Like I will tell you anything, you don't scare me, I'm dead what more can you do to me?" when she said that Naruto snaped his fingers and the seals let out a concentrated stream of light side energy causing her to scream in pain as she started to fade slightly.

"Dead your body may be but your spirit is still tethered to the mortal plane, I can still kill your spirit and cause you pain along the way. Now tell me everything I want to know."

A few more rounds and Belia broke. "My lab was discovered by the welp your order knows as Darth Bane, I infected him with the Nanogene virus though he was able to purge it from his body with the help of his special armor. He ransacked my fortress for all the knowledge of Sith Alchemy and he was horrified by most of my research that when he was finished learning all he could from my holocrons he relocated me here along with most of everything that was in my lab, which included my saber which my spirit was attached to. He sealed the forgotten temples and I have been here ever since…. Now that I have told you what you want to know what are you going to do now?"

"Well…. You have stayed here too long it is time for you to move on." Said Naruto.

"WAIT! NOOOOOOO!" Wailed the Sith as her spirit was painfully erased from the mortal plane.

Naruto then commenced to seal away the artifacts he found from scrolls, to holocrons, and Belia's lightsaber. Naruto destroyed all the lab equipment and set explosives all around the chamber for good measure. He then made his way to the entrance of the Sith temple setting explosives along the way. Eventually he was back in the Jedi temple staring at all the mutated bodies, making a decision he started to seal up the clone's bodies. When he was finished with that task, Naruto unsealed a large pack filled with incendiary charges and started to scatter them around the room. Naruto then took his time in searching the whole temple for artifacts and placing extremely high explosive charges around while looking. Naruto satisfied he found everything exited the temple and walked to a hill overlooking the outpost. He knew there would be a sizable explosion and he didn't want to be caught in it. Naruto pulled out the detonator and sighed. He waited a second and then pressed the button. The ground shook as both Sith and Jedi temples, along with the experiments of Belia were annihilated by the multiple blasts, which could be seen for miles.

-With Gaz an hour before the explosion-

Gaz wasn't pleased with his general's order but he understood that if they were to follow him into the depths of the temple they probably would have been slaughtered. So he marched on following the tracks that the other two squads that lead into the forest for about two miles. From there the tracks split up into many different directions. Gaz not wanting to make them an easy target decided to not split up and chose to try to use the communicator to find his brothers.

-This is Lieutenant Gaz, Sunny, Mally, please respond.-

ZTTT-Lieutenant, this is Sunny we've found the missing occupants of the outpost, we are having some difficulty with getting them to leave the cave and follow us. They keep mumbling about an evil woman that will kidnap the kids. What do you want us to do sir?-

-Keep them there and keep on guard, we ran into something in the temple that killed six of our brothers, General Uzumaki is still in the temple trying to find the source of the creatures and destroy it. We have been ordered to protect the civilians until the threat is neutralized. Tell me your location and we will make our way there.-

-Copy Sir, we're two miles north west of where we split up around the base of a outcropping of rocks. See you in a bit sir.-

Gaz turned his communicator off and motioned for his brothers to follow him. The path Gaz took led them through a thick overgrown forest, and across a river, it took them a while but eventually they made it to the outcropping. Both Sunny and Mally came out to meet Gaz. They stopped a few feet in front of him and saluted.

"Welcome sir, how was your hike?" Asked Sunny.

"It was lovely sergeant, what is the situation here?"

"We have multiple guards inside and outside the cave and a patrol searching for any threat sir."

"Good now I-" -BOOOM- Gaz was cut off by a loud explosion that shook the ground.

"SIR! THERE WAS AN EXPLOSION IN THE DIRECTION OF THE OUTPOST!" yelled the sentry that was posted on the top of the outcropping of rocks.

"That must have been the General, I guess he is done with his task…. You have something you want to say sergeant?"

"Well sir, I'm just glad that I'm not the one that will have to explain this mission to the higher ups."

Gaz just sighed and shook his head while the others chuckled at his misfortune.
