Hello again, it is time for me to work on this fic. I enjoy being asked about what I am doing and if anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Now Shen1412 thanks for saying that I have improved slightly, I still aim to do better.

Werewolfandproud, yes he is a very distant relative, but unfortunately Death watch shows up in around late season two and I have only started on late season one so I have a bit of work to do before I start with Mandalore.

Aceofspades2255, I do have plans for Tarkin and Thrawn later.

Shedges19, eventually he will find out about the chips.

And to GouberMan, Skywalker still will have a part in this fic but I will tone his presence down in the future, and as for the library Skywalker has no clue where it is other than it is on an ice ball of a planet which there are hundreds.

Ch.7 Freedom

- Ann sandku Village half a day after landing- (Using a fan made translator, it means Moon Sands in the Twi'lek language)

In between the time that Naruto had landed to now many things had happened. Kenobi had taken out a group of anti-air cannons so the invasion force had a place to land, Droid reinforcements had arrived in orbit though were being quickly mopped up by his battle group aided by Skywalker and his Padawan, and currently Windu was advancing on the capital city of Lessu. His Padawans were helping give medical support and food to the villages that had been liberated from the droids. They faced little resistance but there were still some casualties.

Naruto was still in the village that he had taken from the droids helping the few villagers that the droids kept there. Apparently many of the villagers had been taken to Lessu and the ones left here were so the Republic forces would have to take extreme caution in how they approached. Most of the villagers that were left were women and children, mostly children. When he had found them, they looked like frightened animals. It took some time but eventually he convinced them that he wasn't a threat to them and they all profusely thanked him and his men for freeing them from the droids.

Currently he was entertaining a group of children by telling stories of him and his second padawan when they first had met. He was asked many questions, most wanted to know why he took her as his Padawan, how he was still alive, and what was the old republic like.

"Well I Took Sira as my Padawan at first out of spite to her as she was a bit of an arrogant brat, but eventually my reasons turned to spite the enclave's council as they were against my decision as they didn't like her. I'm afraid I cannot tell you all how I am still alive. Now there really isn't much difference from the republic then and the republic now other than many more treaties that really don't stop anything, and much more technological advancement….. Yes trooper?" Said Naruto now noticing a trooper trying to get his attention.

"Sir we are receiving unconfirmed reports that the Separatists are firebombing villages across the planet, and we are tracking a mass of air contacts heading our direction. What are your orders sir?"

Naruto jumped to his feet and started barking orders at the nearby clones and medical personnel. "Escort the civilians underground, help the old and injured and be careful but don't dawdle." Naruto activated his comms and started relaying more orders. "Gaz, send out a message to command and tell them that the enemy is targeting civilians and to watch the skies." -SIR YES SIR!- "All AT-TEs are to target the droid bombers, and any trooper with armament powerful enough to take down aircraft are to find good positions and are do the same. Any troopers that don't have heavy weapons are to find cover and then help with casualty control afterwards. I will be aiding in destroying the bombers. Shake and bake people, we don't have much time." Said Naruto as he launched himself onto the roof of a nearby building.

Naruto scanned the horizon only to see large amount of smoke rising from a few different directions. "Gaz contact the medical battalion, tell them they will have to split up to cover all the villages that have been bombed…. And it looks like we're the tin cans next targets." Said Naruto as he spotted a group of nine hyena bombers coming from the west. "Nine bombers coming from the west, Gaz direct the men, I will deal with damage control." -YES SIR!-

The tanks opened fire on the bombers scoring hits on multiple of the bombers sending them spiraling into the dirt engulfed in flames. The troopers that brought missile launchers were not as effective but still brought down a few, but there were still three bombers approaching. Naruto using the force caused two of the bombers to crash into each other, and the remains smashed into a building on the edge of the village. Naruto set his sights on the last bomber and crushed the left stabilizer causing it to streak over the village spinning out of control eventually crashing far outside the village.

-Skies look clear for the moment General, Skywalker and his Padawan are leading the effort to clear the skies but there are a few too many bombers for them to finish quickly.- Said Gaz.

"See if Kade can help coordinate with Skywalker. We should have enough pilots to help clear the skies and prevent"-BOOOOM!- the unexploded ordinance in the two bombers exploded all at once causing the whole village to shake.

"Gaz evacuate the village and get bomb disposal over-RUMMBLE- Scratch that just evacuate the village." Without waiting for a reply Naruto leapt off the building and sped off to where the civilians were sheltered. When he arrived he saw the clones were helping the civilians into gunships for evacuation, and they were almost done when the ground beneath them started to crumble. Naruto seeing two clones struggling to carry an injured Twi'lek while the ground quickly vanished from beneath their feet, decided to use the force to push them onto a gunship before they fell. Though unfortunately the ground beneath his feet gave away and he fell into darkness.

-Cavern-

Falling down a ways He righted himself and used the falling debris to maneuver safely towards a wall and ran down it to the bottom of the cavern dodging falling rocks all the way down. When he reached the bottom he Ignited his lightsaber to examine his surroundings. Seeing that he was in a large empty cavern he then tried to contact Gaz but his commlink was only receiving static.

Deciding that going back up the wall wasn't a good idea due to danger of more of the village falling on him Naruto started to explore the cavern. Naruto walked down a tunnel that he had found and noticed something that gave him some hope that there was another way out. He had found footprints, old ones but maybe they lead to the way out.

He followed the footprints down the tunnel but the further he went Naruto began feeling a dark presence and the smell of decayed flesh. When he stepped out of the tunnel into another cave he felt a heavy presence in the force, one that had been corrupted. He also saw signs of a fight that had left noticeable damage and from what Naruto could tell the damage was ancient. Using an enormous amount of caution Naruto advanced into the cave and found the remains of twenty bodies…. Most Naruto could tell by the remains of their armor were Sith Warriors. None of the bodies were in one piece except for two.

Naruto stopped in his tracks when an apparition formed in front of him. The phantom eventually took a resemblance of a large male Lasat, one that Naruto recognized, but one thing was off, his eyes were glowing a sulfuric yellow.

"You. Of all the beings in the galaxy and beyond, you would be the one to find where I took my last stand. Tell me how long has it been Naruto?" Asked the spectral Lasat.

"Too long Razan, the Republic and Jedi that we knew are long gone…. The Republic has become too corrupt and is unable to function like it should. The Jedi have become a shell of their former selves, and too tangled up in their fear and politics to see that they have failed in their original purpose of protectors….. they have become soldiers to the Republic similar to Revan though not as misguided as him. Let us not beat around the bush here old friend, tell me what caused you to fall."

"We were hunted by Sith Warriors around by the time of the Purge caused by the Sith Triumvirate, they eventually found us. I failed to protect my student… they tortured him for days and they forced me to watch… I eventually broke and fell into the embrace of the Dark side of the force. I slaughtered them all but in the chaos of the fight the leader of the group killed Tissam, and mortally wounded me… how did you bare it….. losing your student." Asked Razan.

"I didn't… I fell the same as you and after I put my wayward student down, I broke down to the point I started rambling on like a madman for days. The poor civilians that had crossed my path were scarred by the sight of me and rightly called the planet's authorities who in turn had me committed to the planet's loony bin. I couldn't blame them as I bottled up my pain for so long until the metaphorical glass bottle shattered. I never properly grieved for my lost loved ones… my planet, wives, children, master, friends, then I was forced to strike down my Padawan. It was too much for me to handle at that moment. Eventually after months of being pieced back together, I returned to the temple and was given a new assignment."

"I was not aware you had fallen."

"No one was, not even the Council. They thought I was about to break, and in reality I already had."

"I don't mean to be rude old friend, but I have been tied to this place for too long. Is there a way you can release me so I can finally be at peace?"

"Yes, though you will have to wait a few hours to a day."

"It's been a few thousand years Naruto, I can wait a little longer. Though if I may ask what is it you are going to do?"

"Did you ever wonder why we cremate our dead?"

"No not really."

"Well it is to help our spirit pass on into the cosmic force, though not every spirit needs help, we do it out of formality. Do you think you can be patient and let me finish my mission?"

"It's not like I'm going anywhere old man."

"Yeah, yeah brat, now before I leave, I want to at least give you all a proper Jedi funeral instead of just torching your bodies. Would that be alright with you?"

"That would be fine." Said Razan as he the permission given Naruto gathered up the remains of Razan and his Padawan. He wrapped them in the banner of the old Jedi's insignia. He then sealed them both in separate scrolls he had on hand. Though before he left he decided to gather the Sith's sabers and anything of value that they had. Naruto then used a simple Earth jutsu to intomb the unknown Sith and then he walked in the direction where he felt a breeze coming from. Eventually he found an opening with light spilling into it, though he also found three different star ships. Two were Aurek-Class strike fighters though one was damaged beyond repair but the other was salvageable. The other ship though Naruto couldn't tell what it was as it was destroyed.

Deciding to take the two Aureks he sealed them up also. He exited the cave to see he was in a canyon, deciding to look up he saw that there was a plasma bridge activated linking the two sides of the canyon. It would seem that he made his way to Lessu through the tunnels. He knew that the city he was to protect was close to Lessu but he didn't think he would be anywhere close to there. Trying his commlink he heard static again but was pleasantly surprised that he heard Master Windu talking to someone he didn't recognize.

They were assaulting the capitol and were apparently winning. Deciding to join the fun ran up the canyon wall which took him less than twenty seconds. He startled the civilians as all they saw was a tall darkly cloaked figure appear and dash through the main gate. He started to systematically rip apart multiple droids with his bare hands. He eventually ripped a super battle droid's arm off and was using it to beat the other droids with it.

"Uzumaki, why are you not with your men?" asked Windu deflecting blaster bolts.

"Short answer? We became separated and my commlink seems to be malfunctioning." Said Naruto chucking the arm at the last surviving B-1 taking it out.

"Reports from your men list you as MIA after a large sinkhole swallowed up the village your were protecting."

"Well shit. Where did my men relocate to?"

"Your men took the villagers and went to where your Padawans were located."

"Good, have you found your target?"

"Yes, Tambor has been captured and his transport was shot down. Your men are currently securing the crash site."

"Ok, can I borrow your commlink?" asked Naruto and without a word Windu handed over a spare commlink he had.

-Gaz, do you copy?-

-Yes General, what is your status and location?- Asked Gaz sounding relieved.

"Well I'm alive and I'm in Lessu with Master Windu."

-Well there were surprisingly no casualties when the village collapsed but we lost some heavy weapons and a few tanks but all personnel are accounted for….- Naruto started to hear an angry voice on the other end.

"Gaz hand me over to her."

-FATHER!- and there went his eardrums. -Why do you always get into these situations? You're going to kill me with worry that you will eventually fall into something that you will not be able to be able to handle.-

"It's not like I try to get into situations Sira, you should know better as you've been with me though most of those situations."

-….-

"I have something to do before I join you at the village you two are at, and it may take me a while. Do relay to Gaz if whoever is securing the crash site I would like to obtain the tactical droid." With that Naruto handed Mace his communicator back, and simply vanished startling everyone around except Mace who sighed.

-Top of Lessu's Mountain-

Naruto appeared at the highest part of the mountain and sat down. He started to mold both earth and water chakra and created two slabs of tangled wood on either side of him. Naruto placed the two scrolls on the slabs and unsealed the bodies inside.

"I may have not been around when you needed me my friend, but I now wish both you and your student peace with in the force." Said Naruto as he ignited the two wooden slabs. Naruto sat meditating in front of the burning slabs for a few hours until there was nothing left of the bodies or slabs but ash.

The old Lasat appeared once more his eyes no longer a sulfuric yellow. "Thank you old friend." He then faded away.

Naruto stood up and vanished again intent on joining his students.

-Village where Kenobi landed-

Naruto appeared in the village center startling everyone and causing everyone with a weapon to draw it and aim at him.

"Uhhhh…. I come in peace?" said Naruto with his hands slightly raised.

"General?" asked one of the clones.

"Yeah?"

"Stand down everyone it's just General Uzumaki." Said the clone and everyone slowly but surely went back to what they were doing.

Naruto now not in danger of being shot at walked around the village until he came upon a secluded area and started to meditate which in turn caused him to radiate a calming effect around the village. His meditation lasted a few hours and attracted multiple small creatures and eventually his two Padawans. The two sat in front of him curiously watching all the animals surrounding him and some small birdlike creatures landing on his shoulders.

"What's he doing?" whispered Rem.

"Meditating, though I still haven't figured out how he attracts all the critters." Sira whispered back.

"Because you still haven't found balance within yourself brat." Said Naruto startling the two and causing all the animals to disperse as he was no longer giving off the calming effect.

"Well I still haven't figured out how and your clues were too vague."

"We'll go over your problems with staying still later, how is everything going with the aftermath?" this caused Sira to glare at Naruto and for Rem to giggle a bit.

"The medical Battalion is still going around to the villages giving aid. We should be off this planet in about three days." Said Sira.

"Good, when we are clear to leave, I want you to take the men home."

"Home…. You do realize that anything there will be in disrepair, right?"

"Excuse me, but what is this home you speak of?" asked Rem confused at what they were talking about.

"Father's home planet."

"I thought it was destroyed by the Sith when they invaded."

"They destroyed much of my planet but over time I was able to repair most of the damage. Though there was no way for me to repopulate my home as I am the last of my kind."

"Ok… but why are we going there?"

"That is where I trained Sira and most of my troops during the time of the Old Republic. Now I wish to further the Clones training there."

"Ok we can go there and repair your training grounds, but what are you going to be doing father?"

"I am in need of another ship as mine was destroyed so I will be going to buy another and I will be starting with CEC. I always liked their products so maybe they have something I will like now."

"Just don't come back with something that's falling apart Father…. Maybe I should send Mouse or Rem with you to keep you from doing so?" said Sira.

"Really how many ships have I bought that turned out to be junkers?" asked Naruto with a smile on his face.

"Five, And the only good one you owned was the Sunflower (Hinata roughly translates to English as 'face towards the sun' or something like that so his ship was called the Sunflower as they face the sun. Though for the longest time my dumb ass thought her name translated to Moon Flower or something similar. No clue why I thought that but now back to the fic) as you were practically given that ship brand new. The others simply were well passed their expiration date and you couldn't let them die until they were completely destroyed."

"….." Naruto stayed silent as he knew he had lost that round.

"So how long do you think it will take for you to meet us back home?"

"I would say maybe a day to a few days."

"In that case both of them will do with you and this is not up for debate as there is a war going on now and we don't need any problems happening like we had before. Now let's finish up here so we can leave."

-Three and a half days later above Corellia-

Naruto, Rem, and Mouse were currently in a shuttle that Naruto had pilfered from a Separatist outpost and were waiting for clearance to land. The only problem was that the security forces were on the fence about letting them land as they were in a SEPARATIST shuttle.

-Separatist shuttle identify yourself-

"Good morning, this is Jedi Master Uzumaki. We would like permission to land preferably around where I can buy a new ship."

-My apologies Master Jedi, I will notify the CEC supervisor that they will have a high priority customer. You have permission to land in Bay Thirty-Seven, a representative will be waiting for you there.-

"Thank you very much and have a nice day." With that Naruto piloted the ship into the atmosphere and eventually Naruto landed where he was told to.

Naruto and his two companions exited the shuttle to see a Middle-aged human woman in a fancy CEC uniform waiting for them close to the ships' ramp.

"Good morning, I am Fely Larvorn a representative of Corellian Engineering Corporation. May I have your names please?" the lady asked sounding overly chipper.

"Hello, I am Naruto Uzumaki, these two are Rem Nivva and Allynor Wriggat." Naruto responded with a smile.

"Nice to meet you all, now I was informed that you are interested in buying a ship. If I may ask, what kind of ship are you looking for?"

"Well I'm not sure yet, something New or slightly used. Maybe a light freighter or something similar."

"We have a wide selection of freighters Mr. Uzumaki, please follow me to our hangers. Though I must ask how did you come into possession of a Sheathipede-class shuttle? You don't look like a Separatist." Asked Fely leading the group out of Bay Thirty-Seven.

"Well I am not a Separatist as I am a Jedi, and I bet you can guess how I obtained it." Said Naruto with a grin.

"Ah, my apologies Master Jedi. Though I thought Jedi already had ships?"

"Quite inquisitive, aren't you?"

"Yes, though it helps me with finding what customers want."

"Well while you are correct that the Jedi are given ships, they are not the best so here I am looking for a ship and your company made some ships that served me well."

"May I ask what products you have purchased from us?"

"Well I had a Defender class light corvette, an XS Freighter, and an old Hammerhead." This caused Fely to stop as she was stunned at the list Naruto had rattled off as most hadn't been made in a few thousand years. (Yes I know the Hammerhead wasn't made by CEC during the Old Republic, but for simplicity for me I'm writing it that way.)

"Sir you bought those from us?" The poor woman looked confused.

"Yes. Oh I forgot that they are most likely not in production anymore… yes I'm that old." Said Naruto scratching the back of his head looking slightly embarrassed.

"That… that would make sense… I think I know what line of ships to show you first now. Please follow me, I think you will be somewhat familiar with this ship Master Jedi." The woman started to walk again although a little faster.

"Please, Naruto is fine."

"Very well Mr. Naruto, now-" Fely opened a door leading to a hanger, and Naruto saw a ship he had a good working relationship with. Though it looked a little different. "- I do believe you know this ship or at least recognize it."

"Indeed I do. Please tell me about what has changed about it."

"Well This model is called the Sphyrna-Class Hammerhead Corvette which as its' name suggests it is a corvette unlike the larger frigate you are familiar with, this one is around one hundred and sixteen point seven meters in length and is brand new. The stock version is fitted with three sublight engines, two Hyperdrives a class three primary and class fifteen backup, and it is equipped with standard deflector shields. This ship in front of us has been upgraded to have four engines, a re-enforced frame and hull, a class one and class two hyperdrives, four heavy laser cannons mounted forward near the cockpit, two dorsal mounted twin light turbo lasers, six module-mounted twin light turbo lasers, upgraded shields, and six escape pods. All in all the ship is well prepared for just about anything. So what do you think Mr. Naruto?" Asked Fely taking a deep breath.

"I'm interested, but I am looking for something a bit smaller."

"Well we can come back to this later, I have a many more ships I can show you. Please follow me." They left the hanger and entered another that held many smaller ships the first one they were walking closer to Naruto recognized as the ship Skywalker owned.

"This is the G Nine Rigger-Class light freighter. This ship is-"

"Not meaning to be rude ma'am, but I am not really interested in this ship as I have piloted one before and it flies like a brick in atmosphere."

"Ah, very well I kind of agree that it isn't the best in maneuverability." She guided the group over to a ship that looked newer.

"This is the VCX One Hundred, a newer model of light freighter that has two main engines and two secondary, a class two and class fourteen hyperdrive, two CEC dual laser turrets, a VCX-series auxiliary starfighter, and can be modified to have shields. So what do you think?"

"Interesting, though let us see what else you have."

"Very well please follow me." The group was lead not to far away to two ships that were saucer shaped but one was clearly older and used.

"These two are the YT- One Thousand and YT- Thirteen Hundred. Which one would you like to hear of first?"

"Which one do you want to hear about Rem?" asked Naruto looking down at his young Padawan.

"Ummmm… the one thousand please."

"Alright sweety. The YT- One Thousand is one of our older ships based off of one of our products you are also very familiar with Mr. Naruto. It was based off of the XS-Freighters' partial saucer shape yet sleeker than the XS. This one was lightly used before it was repossessed and was upgraded by the previous owner. This unit used to have a class three hyperdrive as a primary and a class sixteen as a backup, but the owner some how upgraded the primary to a point five class and replaced the class sixteen with a class two. He also upgraded the stock shields to heavy shielding, he added two heavy cannons into the mandibles of the ship, and replaced the standard cannons with quad laser cannons both top and bottom. It comfortably carries six though only needs two to crew it, one if desperate."

"Now about the Thirteen Hundred, it is similar to the One thousand but a bit more upgraded. Though there are three different configurations this one is the YT- Thirteen Hundred P, made to mostly carry passengers. This one has Girodyne SRB Forty-two sub-light engines, a class two and class twelve hyperdrive, stock shields, two standard cannons top and bottom, two class six escape pods, and five class one escape pods. So what do you think Mr. Naruto?"

"Well… I'll take all the ones you've showed me minus the G Nine."

Rem and Fely almost choked at his words.

"S-Sir?"

"Yes I would like the Hammerhead, VCX, and the two YTs please." Said Naruto with a smile.

"Roughly added all up sir the cost is around one million three hundred thousand credits, I have never known a Jedi to have that much, how will you pay for all of it?" asked Fely seriously doubting this sale.

"Is that all? I really thought it would cost more." Said Naruto unsealing a large box and opening it, showing it to be full of credits. "I do believe this will more than suffice."

Mouse shook her head as she knew her boss was filthy rich though he would rarely show it and he would constantly fuck with people who thought he was poor. Though she wondered why he was buying so many ships.

Rem on the other hand was just as shocked as Fely that her Master just pulled a few million credits out of thin air.

"Y-Yes Mr. Naruto, please follow me to the financial office so we can finalize your sales." Said Fely looking like she had been scared half to death.

Around an hour later Naruto had bought the four ships and sealed the three freighters and the transport up further baffling Fely causing her question reality right then. Saying goodbye to the frazzled woman, the three boarded the Hammerhead departed the space port.

"Master, I was wondering why you bought all those ships." Stated Rem.

"I was kind of wondering that as well boss. I can understand a freighter, but a corvette and three freighters, do you mind explaining?" Asked Mouse.

"Well the three freighters are a surprise, but the corvette is for missions for which the Hailstorm would be overkill. Like diplomatic missions because nothing says diplomacy like a large Sith Battle Cruiser loaded with cannons. No I needed something that didn't look like I was coming to decimate the opposing forces, but with modifications this ship will be able to stand up to capitol ships with ease." Said Naruto as the ship left atmosphere.

"Well boss no matter your reasoning you still need to name her. So what will it be?"

"Hmmmmm…. How about the Tempest?"

"That sounds good boss, now let's go home."

"Agreed, hang on jumping to hyperspace in three, two, one."

Well here is this chapter finished 13Mar22. It took me a bit as I had surgery and was very good pain killers. Now I will be working on captain next. Have a good day and remember to rate and review. I enjoy hearing how I did be it good or bad.
