Hi everyone! I'm sorry for the long wait. I know you've all been eagerly awaiting the next chapter, but I had to make a few changes.

I originally finished the chapter a few days ago, but I realized that I had made a mistake. The story had gone in an unexpected direction, and I lost the ability to plan the future of the story. I had to rewrite some parts to bring the story back on track. I know this is frustrating. I've been working hard to make it the best it can be, and I think you'll all be happy with the results. Thank you for your patience. I'll be back with the next chapter soon!

21. Story of a Certain Angel

He was born in Japan and grew up with only his father, as his mother had passed away when he was young. He lived his life believing that only the strong should survive and the weak should disappear from the world. Despite his belief, he was different from other college students as he was also an otaku, passionate about anime and manga. However, he kept this interest a secret, fearing that revealing it would damage his reputation. He worked hard to maintain a facade of a hardworking, respectable student, but in reality, he spent his free time bullying other students. Only a few of his victims knew about his true nature.

After a long day of studying and bullying other students, he returned to his dorm room exhausted. He decided to take a nap before starting his homework, but he never woke up.

Unbeknownst to him, he had a rare medical condition that caused his heart to stop beating while he slept. His death was sudden and unexpected, leaving those who knew him in shock and disbelief. But some people who knew about his past were relaxed after hearing of his death.

After he died, he was reincarnated as an angel. He found himself in a strange new world, surrounded by other angels, devils and other supernatural creatures. After that he explored this new world, he eventually came face-to-face with God, the creator of the universe.

God saw something special in him and took him under his wing, teaching him about the ways of the world and the importance of balance between good and evil. He was grateful to his creator and devoted himself to serving God and protecting those in need. He wanted to make amends for his past mistakes. So, he decided to live a new life after his reincarnation.

As he grew stronger, he learned to embrace his unique interests, including his love of anime and manga. After a few years He realized this world belonged to the High School DxD anime. He was shocked, Because he never thought that he was inside of a light novel.

At first, he was confused by his new surroundings. The world he found himself in seemed so different from the one he knew from the books. But as he explored his new home, he began to see strange similarities to the world of High School DxD that he read.

He saw structures that resembled the heavenly realm from the light novel, and he began to wonder if he had somehow ended up in that world. He started to look for other clues, analyzing the mythology and legends of this new place. As he delved deeper, he found more and more evidence that he was indeed in the world of High School DxD. He saw gods and creatures that he recognized from the anime. With this realization, he knew that he had to be careful. He was no longer in the world he lived before, but in a dangerous and unpredictable world where power and strength meant everything.

He started to make plans, to figure out how he could survive in this new world and maybe even thrive. He studied the factions and their power structures, trying to find a way to gain a new power and make a name for himself.

As he explored this strange new world, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and wonder. He was no longer bound by the rules of his old life, but was now part of something much larger and more exciting.

But he also knew that he had to be careful. The world of High School DxD was full of dangers and traps, and he had to be smart if he wanted to survive. About 100 years have passed. God decided to give names to the Angels he gave birth to. This angel also got a beautiful name.

After his reincarnation as an angel in DxD world, he struggled to find his place in this new world. As he learned more about the factions and power struggles between the angels, devils, he began to feel a sense of fear and. He already knew what would happen in the future.

He realized that he was not as strong as he thought he was, and that he could be killed in the future by powerful enemies. This fear drove him to become more ruthless and manipulative, to do whatever it took to ensure his own survival.

He became jealous of Issei Hyoudou, who seemed to have everything that he wanted: power, respect, and the love of beautiful women. This jealousy turned into a deep hatred, and he started to think up a plot against Issei, hoping to bring him down and take his place as the top dog in the DxD universe.

As he became more and more consumed by his fear and jealousy, he began to take more extreme measures to protect himself and advance his own interests. He made deals with devils and other evil kinds, betraying his own kind in order to gain power and influence.

Eventually, his actions caught up with him, and he was cast out of the angel faction, and became a fallen angel. He was left to wander the world of High School DxD, a shell of his former self, consumed by his own paranoia and jealousy.

As he wandered the world of High School DxD, he grew restless. He knew that he needed to find a way to establish himself in this new world, to create a place where he could be safe and powerful.

After studying the world's magic systems, he discovered a new element: dark magic. Unlike the light magic used by the angels, dark magic allowed him to control the evil energy and bend them to his will. He knew that this new skill would give him an edge in this dangerous world.

He began to manipulate the other angels, convincing them to become fallen angels and join his new society. He knew that he needed followers if he was going to build something powerful enough to rival the other factions.

For years he worked in secret, building up his power and influence. But as time passed, he began to realize that he was never going to be able to match the strength of the demon lords or the main protagonist.

This realization made him more aggressive, more willing to do whatever it took to gain the power he craved. He became obsessed with the idea of killing the protagonist, seeing him as the biggest threat to his ambitions.

At the same time, the Great War between Angels, Devils and Fallen Angels started.

As the great war between the factions raged on, he fought fiercely, using his dark magic to devastating effect. But even with his new skills, he found himself struggling to keep up with the other factions.

Then, his creator created the sacred gear system before he was dying. He was thrilled by, seeing it as a way to finally achieve his dreams of domination. He can finally kill the protagonist.

He thought to test his strength. He started to fight with other religious gods. Some died at his hands. Some gods fought against him and won. Thinking that he was already strong, he finally challenged the second Red Dragon Emperor. But unfortunately what he thought was not correct. He lost the battle. He could not even scratch the armor of the Red Dragon Emperor who entered the Juggernaut Drive.

But even with his new magic, he was unable to defeat his most powerful enemy. In the end, he was forced to retreat into the shadows, where he continued to manipulate the fallen angels from behind the scenes. Despite his failures, he remained determined to one day become the most powerful being in the world of High School DxD, no matter the cost. But before he knew it, he was already at his own endgame. No matter how much he knew, he could not regain strength. He already reached his limit. In the end, it didn't take long for the other fallen angels to forget the name of Dohnaseek. After that he made a decision. He doesn't tried to get stronger again. He waited for his time to come.

(Note:- I just wanted to give you an idea of Dohnaseek's past before his reincarnation as an angel. This was not something he told Issei)

Present Time:

"This isn't the world you think it is, Issei, it's different. I've covered every inch of it, so if we both work together, we can rule this world" Dohnaseek said.

"What do you mean by different?" I just want answers at this point. Dohnaseek knows more than me. He is someone who has lived longer than me. He lowered his guard and stood up where he fell.

"This is not the world shown in the anime or in the novel. This is different. Some characters and story arcs here are completely different. That's why I invite you to work together with me." He pointed his hand at me.

"Otherwise you won't be able to survive here."

He gave a warning to me.

"I see," Dohnaseek said to me. As he spoke, He is just a weak person who feared facing his future.

"Tell me one thing," I asked, "did you see the god?"

"Yes, I did," he replied.

"Well, it doesn't matter now!" I clenched my fist and reactivated my hand gun.

"Hey, wait! Don't! I can't do any harm now!" Dohnaseek started to beg for his life.

"I don't care anymore," I said.

[Boost]

He tried to escape, but his wings were not strong enough to carry him. The fallen angel lying at my feet was just a weakling.

"Even if you're not from this world, fuck you, Dohnaseek! You tried to control Tiamat, tried to kill my mother, and you changed my friends' memories." I aim at his head.

[Boost]

"DIE!!!" I shouted and fired my weapon.

Suddenly, Dohnaseek began to glow white. The beam that came out from my hand gun reflected mid-air without harming him.

"What the...!" I was surprised. Dohnaseek disappeared from there.

(He escaped partner) Ddraig replied.

"But how?" I lowered my hand. I couldn't sense any different magic other than Dohnaseek.

'It's like someone teleported him away' I thought.

(What's now Partner?)

"Take a nap Ddraig," I said and gear got reset.

I sighed as I looked back at where Sona and the others were standing. I had failed again. My enemy had escaped, and it was all my fault. I felt a wave of shame wash over me. I had let them down. I had let myself down again.

"Issei!"

I turned around and saw Momo running towards me. She threw her arms around me and hugged me tightly.

"Thank you," she mumbled into my chest.

I hugged her back, feeling a wave of relief wash over me. I was glad that Momo and others were safe.

"It's okay," I said. "I'm just glad you guys are okay." We held each other for a few more moments, before Momo finally let go.

"Come on," she said. "Let's go back to the others." I nodded and followed her back to the group. As we walked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of determination. I had failed this time, but I would not give up. I would keep fighting, and I would eventually succeed.

I looked at the others who were standing next to Tiamat. Asia was exhausted, sleeping in Tiamat's hand. Thanks to Asia, Tsubaki's stomach wound was completely healed, but she still hadn't regained consciousness. Even the others looked very tired. It was to be expected. The enemy they had fought was powerful. Sona's injuries were somewhat healed, but her school uniform was damaged in some places. I wondered how she was feeling. She seemed to be avoiding looking into my eyes. Maybe it was because of the lie I had told her. But at a time like this, shouldn't she be happy? I sighed. I didn't know what to do. I had failed to protect them, and I had lied to Sona. I felt like a failure.

I looked over at Asia and Tsubaki. They were both unconscious, but they were safe. That was all that mattered. I would make things right, I promised myself. I would protect them, no matter what it took.

I turned to Tiamat. "Thank you," I said. "You saved them." Tiamat smiled. "It was my pleasure," she said.

"Master, did you kill him?"

I sighed. "Unfortunately he escaped," I said.

Tiamat's expression changed. Her hands started to clenched into fists, and her eyes narrowed. "How dare he!" she growled. "He would dare to control a dragon king, me! The Chaos Karma Dragon! Unforgivable!" As I thought he is the one who tried to control her.

I put a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down, Tiamat," I said. "You're scaring everyone."

Tiamat took a deep breath and nodded. She looked down at Asia, who was still sleeping in her arms. "I'm sorry," she said. "I didn't mean to scare you." Asia smiled weakly. "It's okay," she said. "I know you were just trying to act cool."

"What?! No No, I'm not"

"You are! Issei, what I said is true right?"

"Well…" I didn't say anything. Asia and Tiamat started to argue again. Somehow these two gave a reason to smile.

I turned to Sona, who was standing next to us. "Kaichou, are you okay?" I asked.

Sona nodded, but her eyes were cold. "I'm fine," she said. "Thank you for asking."

I could tell that she was lying. She was still shaken up from the battle, and she was probably angry at me for lying to her.

"I'm sorry," I said. "I shouldn't have lied to you." Sona looked at me for a moment, then turned away. "It's fine," she said. "Just don't do it again."

I nodded. "I won't," I said.

I knew that I had a lot to make up for, but I was determined to win back Sona's trust. I would start by being honest with her, and I would do everything I could to protect her and others. We all decided to leave. Unfortunately, I couldn't go with Sona. I needed to take Asia home as soon as possible.

"Kaichou," I said, "I need you to come to my house. There's a possibility that Dohnaseek will come again."

Sona shook her head. "I can't," she said. "I have to go back to my place."

"But--"

"Issei," she said, her voice firm. "I'm not going to argue with you. I have to go."

I sighed. "Fine," I said. "But please, take Tiamat with you."

Sona hesitated. "I don't know," she said. "Tiamat is a very powerful being I'm sure she will protect you from Dohnaseek if he came again,"

"And I'm sure she will protect you ," I said. Sona nodded. "I see," she said. "Very well. We'll take Tiamat with us."

I smiled. "Thank you,"

Sona and her peerage left with Tiamat. I watched them go, then turned and went home with Asia. I knew that Dohnaseek would be back. But I also knew that I had my boosted gear to defeat him. And together with Ddraig, we would be victorious.

Asia and I came home soon, as it was very late. My mother immediately began to question me, mostly about Asia. This was because I had not brought her home through the front door, but through a window in her room.

"It's ok Mom, please don't scold Issei"

"I don't blame him, Asia, but you should be careful of him. Do you see what time it is?" She pointed at the clock hanging on the wall. "You haven't married him yet, so don't allow things like this." She crossed her arms and glared at Asia.

"W-what !?"

Suddenly, her face turned red and smoke began to pour out of her ears. She quickly stood up and ran upstairs. I could imagine what had happened. I had seen many similar incidents in some anime series that I watched in my previous life. Mother's eyes turned to me.

"What just happened ?"

"Mother, seriously atleast do not say unnecessary words. She got embarrassed because of you" I stand up from the sofa and walk towards to upstairs.

"Me!? wait I thought you already did it with her"

As soon as I heard those words, I wanted to laugh, but I knew it would be inappropriate. I held back my laughter and looked at mother.

"What are you talking about, mother?" I looked away. "Your son is not like that."

"Oh Yes you did change If I remember correctly, fine. Go take a shower, You smell really bad."

"Smell?!" I lifted the hem of my shirt and brought it to my nose. Mother was right. My shirt smelled like the forest.

"Did you crawl under a tree?" she asked without hesitation.

"Don't take me for a joke, Mother," I said, turning away.

"There must be some other explanation," she said, even though I had no idea how to explain what had happened.

"Well, take a quick shower" she said, and went to the kitchen as usual.

From there, I went upstairs to take a bath. When I entered the bathroom, I saw that the bathtub was already filled with water. I assumed that my mother had filled it earlier. I removed all of my clothes and washed my body with water before getting into the tub. Then, I got into the bathtub with the intention of warming up.

"This is called bless," I thought. It was amazing to be in hot water after a big fight. At the same time, Ddraig's voice started to be heard inside my head.

(Issei, I want to talk to you,) he said. I could imagine what he was trying to say. With my permission, the Boosted Gear appeared on my left arm.

(I want to know what that fallen angel said,) he asked me.

"One thing first," I said. "Would you like to hear my story?"

I didn't need to tell him my true story. So I thought of changing some parts and telling him. Because knowing that he is just one character in a book is not going to be a good thing.

(Sure,) he said. (I'm listening.)

So I told him my story, or at least, a version of it. I told him about how I had been summoned to the world of DxD, about how I had become a devil, and about how I know more information about this world. I left out the parts about being a reincarnator and about being aware of the fourth wall. When I was finished, Ddraig was silent for a moment.

(That's quite a story,) he said finally. (I can see why you're so hesitant to tell me the truth.)

"I know," I said. "But I thought you might want to know."

(I do,) he said. (Thank you for telling me.)

"You're welcome," I said. We were silent for a moment longer.

(So,) Ddraig said finally. ( You are then a human born in another world)

"Yes Ddraig, I am the red dragon emperor in that world too. I hope you now understand how I know more about this world."

(Then why did you come to this world?)

"I don't know Ddraig, the last thing I remember was someone killed me. It happened because of my carelessness. Anyway, when I came to my senses, I was in this world. I don't want to fail again. That's why as soon as I came into this world, I tried to use you and become stronger"

(So You entirely depend on me now)

"I know," I said. "That's why I need your help."

(Of course,) Ddraig said. (I'll do whatever I can.)

"Thank you," I said. "I knew I could count on you."

We talked for a while longer, discussing our plans for the future. Then, I got out of the bathtub and got dressed.

"I'll see you later," I said to Ddraig.

(See you,) he said. Gear was disappeared.

I left the bathroom and went downstairs. My mother was in the kitchen, making dinner.

"Hi, Mom," I said.

"Hi, Issei," she said. "How was your bath?"

"It was great," I said. "Thanks for filling the tub."

"You're welcome," she said. "Dinner will be ready soon. can you check on Asia please?"

"I already did, she will come soon"

I went into the living room and sat down on the couch. I turned on the TV and started watching a movie. As I watched the movie, I thought about what had happened today. I had fought against a fallen angel and everyone discovered my secret. It was a lot to take in, but I was glad that I had Asia and Tiamat help me through it.

I knew that the future would be full of challenges, but I was confident that I could overcome them with Ddraig by my side.

Sona put the key in the door of her apartment, turned it once, and entered. Her apartment was a little far from the school, in an unpopulated area. It consisted of five rooms, including a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. She entered first and invited the others to come in as well. Everyone accepted her invitation and entered the house. Tiamat entered last.

"Tsubasa, can you take Tsubaki to this room and put her to sleep? I'll make coffee for everyone," Sona said while showing a room.

Tsubasa nodded and entered the room with Tsubaki. As a peerage rook, she had good physical strength.

Sona entered the kitchen and started boiling water to make hot coffee for everyone. While she was getting ready, she looked at the other people sitting on the chairs in the living room. She couldn't help but clench her hands as she felt a mixture of sadness and anger. She had just been defeated as a high-class devil. Tears started to come to her eyes.

Suddenly, she came to her senses when she heard the whistle of the kettle. She quickly turned off the stove and poured the hot water into a coffee maker. She added coffee grounds and then pressed the button to start brewing. While the coffee was brewing, Sona took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. She didn't want to let the others see her upset. When the coffee was finished brewing, Sona poured it into cups and brought them into the living room. She handed a cup to each of her friends.

"Thank you," Tiamat said. Others started to drink too

Sona sat down in a chair and took a sip of her coffee. The hot liquid helped to soothe her nerves.

"Kaichou, the coffee you made is delicious" It was Reya. She eagerly sipped her coffee.

"Reya, You are right. Kaichou It is delicious"

"I'm glad Momo," Sona felt relieved. Her peerage was safe. But then she wondered, what if Issei hadn't arrived in time? That question rattled in her mind. She began to think about her own weaknesses and the weaknesses of her peerage.

"So," she said, "what do we do now?"

Her peerage members looked at each other, but no one said anything.

"We need to figure out a way to get stronger," Sona said. "We can't let this happen again."

"I agree," Tsubasa said.

"We'll start a new training in a week," Sona said. "We'll need to be ready for anything."

All of them nodded in agreement.

They finished their coffee and then went to bed. Sona lay in bed, thinking about what had happened. She was determined to get stronger and make sure that something like this never happened again.

"May I come in?" Sona was woken up by a voice outside her room. She sat up in bed and listened. The voice was familiar, but she couldn't place it. She got out of bed and opened the door.

Standing in the hallway was Tiamat, the chaos karma dragon. Sona was taken aback. She had never expected to see Tiamat in this hour.

"Miss Tiamat," Sona said, "what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to talk to you," Tiamat said. "It's important." Sona hesitated. But he remembered Issei's words.

"Come in," Sona said. Tiamat silently entered the room.

Whoops!

It's been a while, dear readers. I apologize for the long delay. I've been working hard to bring the story to a better place, and I'm happy with the progress I've made. If we talk about Dohnaseek first, I haven't revealed his full powers yet. You'll be able to read about them in the future. Maybe the next chapter will be about Issei's date. And after that, we'll probably enter Riser's arc. I'll write and upload the next chapter soon. So have a good day everyone!
