"We're coming into orbit," Cassian announced as the U-wing entered the Jedha system, while Jyn grabbed a necklace of a Kyber crystal and grabbed it as Cassian stood up from the pilot's seat of the ship and walked towards the cargo hold, "You have the controls." He then began walking through the cargo hold as Jyn looked out the window and looked at a moon that looked like it had deserts and mesas on it as Satele, Sabine and Janus began following Cassian.

"That's Jedha," Cassian told Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus, "Or what's left of it."

"From the history of the Jedi, that planet once held significance to the Jedi Order before the Emperor's purge," Satele stated, "It wouldn't surprise me if it had a part in the Jedi Civil War almost 4,000 years ago."

"Yeah, and our distant ancestor, Revan probably fought there as well," Sabine added, agreeing with her sister.

"I have a feeling that you're both correct," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend and her sister, "As you both said, it held significance to the Jedi."

"Anyway, we find Saw, we find your father," Cassian told Jyn as she stood up and looked at the planet below as the U-wing began to fly down towards the planet.

As soon as the U-wing entered the atmosphere of Jedha, the gunship closed its S-foils and began to fly around the planet's desert mesa and landed near a plateau before Cassian, Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus exited the ship as the three Mandalorians placed their helmets over their heads as they began to walk onto a cliff and saw an Imperial Star Destroyer hovering over a plateau, where Jedha City was with Imperial ships flying out from the Star Destroyer.

Cassian, Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus then got on their stomachs as Cassian held a pair of macrobinoculars in his hand.

"What's with the Destroyer?" Jyn asked them as she saw the Star Destroyer in the distance as Cassian placed his pair of macrobinoculars over his eyes, while Satele Sabine and Janus flipped down their helmets' microbinocular viewplates' rangefinders as they looked at the Star Destroyer and plateau with them.

"It's because of your old friend, Saw Gerrera," Cassian answered, "He's been attacking the cargo shipments."

"It could be because he is still searching for that weapon that he's been investigating since we along with our deceased master rescued him on Geonosis," Satele stated.

"You do have a point, Sis," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.

"Yeah, when I met him just before we went to Faos Station with him, he seemed determined to find a super weapon that the Empire has been hiding," Janus muttered, agreeing with his girlfriend and her sister.

"What are they bringing in?" Jyn asked them.

"It's what are they taking out," Cassian corrected her as he handed her his pair of macrobinoculars as she placed them over her eyes and saw Zelta-class Heavy Cargo Shuttles and TIE fighters flying around the plateau, "Kyber crystal. All they can get. We wondered why they were striping the temple. Now we know. It's the fuel for the weapon."

"We found some being transported by Saw Gerrera, the last time we saw him on Faos Station, about a year ago," Satele recalled as she remembered when she, Sabine and Janus went there after Saw blew up the Jalindi relay.

"The weapon your father's building," K-2SO told Jyn as she lowered Cassian's macrobinoculars from her eyes.

"Maybe we should leave target practice behind," Jyn suggested as she looked at the KX-series security droid.

"Are you talking about me?" K-2SO asked her as Cassian, Satele, Sabine and Janus looked at him as the three Mandalorians flipped their helmets' microbinocular viewplates back up, while Cassian and Jyn were packing things up with two bags that they were carrying.

"She's right. We need to blend in," Cassian said, agreeing with Jyn, "Stay with the ship."

"And that's one reason why Commander Rex, Lieutenant Captain Jesse and General Cody gave us these cloaks," Satele stated, "To hide our Beskar armor."

"I can blend in like they can, Cassian," K-2SO protested, "I'm an Imperial droid. The city is under Imperial occupation."

"Half the people here want to reprogram you," Jyn told him, "The other half wanna put a hole in your head."

"And you'll probably be identified as a reprogrammed Imperial droid if the Imperials see you with us as me, my sister, Janus and Cassian are four well-known rebels," Sabine retorted, agreeing with Jyn.

"I'm surprised you both are so concerned with my safety," K-2SO said with surprise in his voice.

"Not sure about Sabine, but I'm not," Jyn stated as they stood back up as she walked up to him, "I'm just worried they might miss you and hit me."

"Doesn't sound so bad to me," Cassian muttered as he, Satele, Sabine and Janus followed Jyn after Jyn handed K-2SO her bag, only for him to drop the bag as they walked away from him.

As they entered Jedha City, Jyn placed her jacket's hood over her head as Satele, Sabine and Janus did the same with their cloak's hoods and their helmets as they began walking through Jedha City and saw that the city was filled with bunch of species as Jyn bumped into a human male with light skin, brown and gray hair, hazel eyes and a disfigured face, who was traveling with a black skinned Aqualish male with black hair and eyes.

"Hey," the disfigured man said as he turned to Jyn, "You just watch yourself."

"Wait, no, no. Sorry, sir," Cassian apologized to the man, "We don't want any trouble. Sorry."

"Especially from us Mandalorians, you sleemo," Satele added as she, Sabine and Janus placed their hands over their armors' holsters.

"Yeah, she didn't even mean it," Sabine said, agreeing with Cassian.

"And if you mess with us, you mess with the Mandalorian clans," Janus stated, agreeing with his girlfriend.

"Come on. Come on," Cassian whispered to Jyn as they along with the three Mandalorians walked away as the disfigured man and the Aqualish did the same and walked away from them as well.

"Citizens of Jedha. You must come forward with information of the location of this missing cargo pilot," they heard a masculine Imperial voice say as a hologram of a man with tan skin, brown eyes and black hair with a beard being transmitted from a holotransmitter nearby, "A reward of 600 credits for the information shall be awarded."

"I had a contact. One of Saw's Rebels," Cassian told Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus as they traveled through the city, "But he's just gone missing. His sister will be looking for him. The temple's been destroyed, but she'll be there waiting. We'll give her your name, Jyn and hope that gets us a meeting with Saw."

"Hope?" Jyn repeated with confusion.

"Yeah. Rebellions are built on hope," Cassian explained.

"And hope inspired us to reunite with our clan and have our mother accept me back into our clan after she put me on trial for developing a weapon that disintegrates Beskar, the core and tradition of our people with the Empire using it on her cousins and a few of our Clan Wren warriors," Sabine added, agreeing with Cassian.

"Hope also helped us save our father from execution when the former governor of Mandalore, Tiber Saxon planned on terminating him," Satele said, agreeing with them.

"And hope helped us liberate the planet of Lothal as well," Janus added, agreeing with his girlfriend, her sister and Cassian.

"Hands where I can see them," they heard a stormtrooper say as they saw the stormtrooper interrogating one of the civilians of Jedha City as they pushed the civilian against the wall, "Show me some identification. Check inside."

"Is this all because of your pilot?" Jyn asked Cassian and the three Mandalorians.

"No," Satele answered, "I think because of Saw as well."

"May the Force of others be with you," they suddenly heard a voice within the crowd say, "May the Force of others be with you."

"Wait for me," Cassian told Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus before he walked away from them.

"May the Force of others be with you," Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus heard the same masculine voice say again as they went to check out where the voice was coming from, "May the Force of others be with you. Would you trade that necklace for a glimpse into your future?" Jyn looked confused as Sabine, Satele and Janus noticed her Kyber crystal necklace that she was wearing, "Yes. I'm speaking to you." Jyn and the three Mandalorians then noticed a man with tan skin, pale blue eyes and short black hair, surrounded by men in red robes as they slowly approached the man with skepticism as all three Mandalorians lowered their hoods and removed their helmets as they placed them under their arms, "I'm Chirrut Îmwe."

"How did you know that I was wearing a necklace?" Jyn asked Chirrut.

"Yeah, how did you realize that she was wearing one when we didn't even realize till just now?" Satele said, agreeing with Jyn.

"I also want to know how you knew," Sabine muttered, agreeing with Jyn and her sister.

"Me too," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend, her sister and Jyn.

"For that answer, one of you must pay," Chirrut answered as Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus noticed a man with tan skin, brown eyes and black hair and goatee that had begun to gray, wielding an MWC-35c repeating cannon in his arms standing nearby, "What do you four know about Kyber crystals?"

"My father, he… He said they powered the Jedi's lightsabers," Jyn answered.

"Then he was correct, Jyn," Satele told her as she placed one of her hands over one of her lightsabers.

"They're usually found on this planet, Ilum and Lothal," Sabine muttered.

"And they're sacred to Jedi like Beskar is to us Mandalorians," Janus added.

"Jyn, how'd you get that necklace?" Sabine asked Jyn.

"My mother gave it to me just before Saw took me in and raised me after the Empire took my father and killed my mother," Jyn answered.

"Jyn, Satele, Sabine, Janus," Cassian called out to Jyn and the three Mandalorians as he appeared behind them within the crowd, "Come on. Let's go."

"The strongest stars have hearts of Kyber," Chirrut told Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus as the three Mandalorians placed their helmets back over their heads as they left him.

"Let's go," Cassian called out to Jyn before grabbing her by the arm as he began to take her away from Chirrut, "We're not here to make friends. But unlike you, Satele, Sabine and Janus can speak to someone and not make them their friend."

"Who are they?" Jyn asked Cassian.

"Guardians of the Whills," Cassian answered, "Protectors of the Kyber Temple. But there's nothing left to protect. So now they're just causing trouble for everybody."

"So they're somewhat like Jedi," Satele surmised.

"Yeah," Cassian answered.

"You seem awfully tense all of a sudden," Jyn told Cassian.

"Yeah, I noticed that too," Satele said, agreeing with her, "What's going on?"

"I also noticed that," Sabine stated, "Why are you tense all of a sudden, Cassian?"

"Did something happen, Cassian?" Janus asked him.

"We have to hurry," Cassian told them, "This town is ready to blow."

"The Empire's supposed super weapon," Satele muttered to herself.

"I had the exact same thought, Sis," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.

"Me too," Janus stated, agreeing with his girlfriend and her sister.

"Citizens of the Empire… Imperial forces tirelessly fight Saw Gerrera's reign of terror… over the people of this beloved city," the same masculine Imperial voice said as a squadron of stormtroopers and a TX-255 GAVw 'occupier' combat assault tank with an Imperial combat assault tank commander standing inside the tank's hatch as they walked and drove past Cassian, Jyn and the three Mandalorians, "Truth and justice are the tools of the Empire."

Satele, Sabine, Janus, Cassian and Jyn then noticed figures hiding on the rooftops of building around them wielding blasters before one of them took out a comlink and spoke in it in an alien language before a Talpini replied to them in the same language nearby as they hid behind a wall and held a blaster in their arms before a few people wearing gas masks walked away.

"Tell me either one of you have a backup plan," Jyn requested Cassian and the three Mandalorians when one of the figures on the rooftops threw a C-25 fragmentation grenade at the Imperial patrol, which landed in front of the Imperial tank and exploded, causing an explosion as people began firing upon the stormtroopers with blasters with the stormtroopers firing back with their E-11 blaster rifles as Cassian, Jyn and the three Mandalorians ran for cover behind a wall nearby as the Talpini ran forward and began firing at the the Imperials as they revealed themselves to be Saw Gerrera's partisans.

Jyn pulled out her blaster with Cassian doing the same thing with his own blaster as Satele, Sabine and Janus pulled out their WESTAR-35s from their armors' holsters.

"Looks like we found Saw's rebels," Jyn stated.

"I was thinking the same thing, Jyn," Satele said, agreeing with her.

As the Partisans continued to fire upon the stormtroopers with the stormtroopers doing the same thing to the Partisans, Jyn noticed a young girl began crying as she rushed out from their hiding spot to help the young girl.

"Jyn, no!" Cassian yelled out to Jyn as he watched as she helped the young girl and began escorting her back to her mother when an explosion occurred nearby, causing Jyn to land on her knees the young girl from danger as the young girl's mother approached her as Jyn returned her child to her.

"Hit the terrorist," the Imperial combat assault tank commander ordered before the TX-255 GAVw 'occupier' combat assault tank rotated its laser cannons upwards.

"Jyn, get out of there!" Cassian, Satele, Sabine and Janus ordered Jyn at the same time with fear in their voices.

The Imperial TX-255 GAVw 'occupier' combat assault tank then fired upon a building, causing it to collapse in on itself as the building collapsed in on itself before Cassian and Janus fired at the Imperial combat assault tank commander as Sabine and Satele placed their WESTAR-35s back in their armors' holsters and grabbed their lightsabers with Satele only grabbing hers with the blue blade as Jyn ran over to the TX-255 GAVw 'occupier' combat assault tank and took cover in front of it as Cassian fired his blaster at the Partisan that dropped the fragmentation grenade as a Tognath that looked similar to Erido but was his brother, Benthic, who was part of the Partisan forces and the leader of the operation looked up as they all watched as the Partisan fell from the rooftop to the ground as an explosion occurred from where the Partisan that Cassian shot to the ground, killing a bunch of Imperials.

Jyn, Cassian and the three Mandalorians then looked at each other as Benthic looked at them as they all got out of hiding as Satele and Sabine ignited their lightsabers with Jyn firing her blaster at a stormtrooper that she ran past before an explosion occurred behind two stormtroopers, killing the stormtroopers instantly as Cassian, Jyn and the three Mandalorians fell onto their stomachs before the Partisan forces then ran over to the Imperial TX-255 GAVw 'occupier' combat assault tank.

"Kyber…" one of the Partisans said before speaking in an alien language as they all pulled canisters out from the Imperial TX-255 GAVw 'occupier' combat assault tank as Satele, Sabine, Janus, Cassian and Janus looked at the Partisan forces.

"Come on!" Cassian ordered Jyn and the three Mandalorians as they stood back up.

They began to evade the Imperials as Satele and Sabine used their lightsabers to deflect the stormtroopers' blaster bolts as an AT-ST suddenly slowly began to walk over towards the battle field and began to fire its laser cannon at the partisans with stormtroopers surrounding the Imperial walker on both sides and began firing their E-11 blaster rifles upon the Partisans as well, while Cassian, Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus entered a building as Jyn hid behind a wall inside the building.

As Cassian ran through the destroyed building with Satele, Sabine and Janus, they stopped as a stormtrooper appeared a few feet in front of them as Janus fired a blaster bolt from one of his WESTAR-35s at the stormtrooper, which collided with the stormtrooper in the chest as he fell to the ground before Cassian and the three Mandalorians before to walk forward, only for a squad of stormtroopers to appear from both sides, causing them to run back the way they came as the stormtroopers began to fire upon them.

"This way!" Cassian ordered Jyn as he, Satele, Sabine and Janus ran past her as she ran into the corridor that he and the three Mandalorians were running through as she stopped before following them as the stormtroopers began to fire upon her with their E-11 blaster rifles.

"Cassian! Satele! Sabine! Janus!" Jyn called out to Cassian and the three Mandalorians as she evaded the stormtroopers' blaster bolts before they all hid next to the walls of the destroyed building as she took out a baton and flicked it open.

"Good idea, Jyn," Satele said as she deployed her Vambrace's blades as Cassian and Janus got out of hiding and fired their blasters at the stormtroopers, while Jyn and Satele did the same on the other side as they rushed over to the stormtroopers and began slashing their baton and Vambrace's blades at them as Cassian, Sabine and Janus turned around to where Satele and Jyn were as they saw them dealing with the stormtroopers with Satele using her Vambrace's blades, while Jyn used her baton.

Satele kicked one of the stormtroopers in the helmet as Jyn picked up one of the stormtrooper's E-11 blaster rifles and fired it at stormtrooper approaching them as Satele aimed and fired her other Vambrace's wrist rockets at them, killing them instantly as unbeknownst to them, a KX-series security droid was slowly approached them from the side as Jyn kicked the head of the stormtrooper she was standing next to as she turned around and fired a blaster bolt at the KX-series security droid, causing them to fall backwards as she deactivated it before another KX-series security droid appeared behind the one that she shot.

"Did you know that wasn't me?" The KX-series security droid asked Jyn, revealing that he was K-2SO.

"Yeah. Of course," Jyn answered.

"I thought I told you to stay on the ship," Cassian recalled as he looked at K2SO.

"So had I," Sabine said, agreeing with him.

"Yeah, I remember him ordering you to stay on the ship as well," Satele stated, agreeing with her sister and Cassian.

"Me too," Janus said, agreeing with them.

"You did, Cassian," K-2SO confirmed, "But I thought it was boring, and you and the Mandalorians were in trouble." One of the stormtroopers then threw a thermal detonator at the KX-series security droid, only for K-2SO to grab it with his hand, "There were a lot of explosions… for five people blending in."

"Freeze!" A stormtrooper said as he and a few others began to approach them from behind K-2SO, only for the KX-series security droid to throw it behind him at the stormtroopers as it exploded, killing the stormtroopers instantly.

"You four were right," K-2SO told Cassian, Satele, Sabine and Janus, "I should just wait on the ship." He then began to walk away.

As the six of them exited the building, they saw stormtroopers around them, examining the damage of the area that the Partisans caused from starting the battle before they turned around and began to go back the way they came.

"Halt. Stop right there," one of the stormtroopers ordered them, causing them to stop and slowly turned around, "Where are you taking these prisoners?"

"These are prisoners," K-2SO said with confusion.

"Yes. Where are you taking them?" The stormtrooper asked him.

"I am taking them to imprison them in prison," K-2SO said, unconviningly as Satele, Sabine and Janus all had amused looks under their helmets' visors.

"He's taking us to…" Cassian began to say before K-2SO slapped him in the face.

"Quiet!" K-2SO snapped at him as Cassian placed his hands over his mouth, "And there's a fresh one if you mouth off again."

"We'll take them from here," the stormtrooper told the KX-series security droid, "Especially the Mandos, they can be quite a nuisance."

"That's okay. If you could just point me in the right direction, I can take them, I'm sure," K-2SO protested as a couple of stormtroopers approached Cassian, Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus as they went to stuncuff them, "I've taken them this far."

"Hey, wait a second," Cassian said as he, Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus began struggling to get free as the stormtroopers began to escort them away.

"Take them away," the stormtrooper ordered the other stormtroopers.

"Wait. You can't take them away," K-2SO protested.

"You, stay here," the stormtrooper ordered the KX-series protocol droid, "We need to check your diagnostics."

"Diagnostics?" K-2SO repeated with disbelief, "I'm capable of running my own diagnostics, thank you very much."

"Let them pass in peace," Cassian, Jyn and the three Mandalorians suddenly heard Chirrut urge the stormtroopers, causing them to stop and to to the direction of the voice and saw him appearing from an archway, holding a staff in his hands and began to walk forward, "Let them pass in peace. The Force is with me. And I am with the Force. And I fear nothing. For all is as the Force wills it."

"Hey, stop right there," one of the stormtroopers ordered Chirrut.

"He's blind," one of the other stormtroopers stated.

"Is he deaf?" Another stormtrooper asked Chirrut as he walked in front of him as he aimed his E-11 blaster rifle at him.

"I said stop right there!" The first stormtrooper ordered Chirrut again as every single stormtrooper cocked their E-11 blaster rifles and aimed them at Chirrut.

Chirrut slowly moved his head as he sensed where the stormtroopers were and as one of the stormtroopers fired their E-11 blaster rifle, he evaded the stormtrooper's blaster bolt, causing it to collide with the stormtrooper behind him before another blaster bolt from the stormtroopers' E-11 blaster rifles collided with the stormtroopers holding Cassian, Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus hostage and hid in two separate hiding places as two more stromtroopers' blaster bolts collided with two more stormtroopers in the helmet as Chirrut ran towards the lead stormtrooper and began to use his staff against him before he went to knock him backwards as he grabbed the stormtrooper's right arm as another stormtrooper approached them.

"Is your foot all right?" Chirrut asked the stormtrooper that approached him as he stabbed his staff into the stormtrooper's foot before he kicked him backwards with his foot as another stormtrooper began to fire their E-11 blaster rifle at him, only for Chirrut to have the blaster bolts hit the stormtrooper that he was holding hostage instead before the stormtrooper on the ground next to him went to grab his E-11 blaster rifle, only for Chirrut to stop him with his foot before kicking him in the helmet before he kicked the stormtrooper that was firing upon him with his foot and snapped the neck of the stormtrooper that he was holding hostage with his staff.

Chirrut then ran over to a stormtrooper standing next to a building and knocked him to the ground with his arm as Cassian, Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus watching him to take down the stormtroopers with the three Mandalorians looking shocked as surprised as another stormtrooper ran up to Chirrut as he knocked the stormtroopers to the ground with his staff as another stormtrooper ran up to him, only for him to knock the stormtrooper to the ground as well and stabbed him in the stomach with his staff before he rotated around and aimed his staff to the side almost as if he was using it as a rifle as a squadron of stormtroopers ran over to him as they went to apprehend him, only for them to be fired upon by an MWC-35c, killing them all instantly as Jyn gasped as they all saw the man with tan skin, brown eyes and black hair and goatee that had begun to gray, wielding the MWC-35c.

"You almost shot me," Chirrut told the man as the man grabbed a bowcaster as he walked up to him.

"You're welcome," the man said as he handed the bowcaster to Chirrut before he aimed and fired his MWC-35c at a stormtrooper that began to get up, killing him instantly.

"Clear of hostiles," K-2SO stated as he, Cassian, Jyn and the three Mandalorians got out of cover before the man aimed his MWC-35c at him, causing him to raise his hands up, "One hostile."

"He's with us," Jyn told the man as she rushed over to K-2SO.

"Yeah, he's a reprogrammed Imperial droid," Satele said, agreeing with Jyn.

"They're all right," Chirrut told the man.

The man lowered his weapon as Chirrut sat down on one of the dead stormtroopers as K-2SO lowered his hands as he unlocked Jyn's stuncuffs.

"Thanks" Jyn told K-2SO as he unlocked Cassian's stuncuffs before he did the same with Satele, Sabine and Janus.

"Cassian, I'm sorry about the slap," K-2SO apologized to Cassian.

"Go back to the ship," Cassian ordered the KX-series security droid, "Wait for my call."

"Is he a blind Jedi like our deceased Jedi Master, Kanan Jarrus?" Satele asked the man.

"There are no more Jedi here anymore," the man said, not knowing that Satele and Sabine are Mandalorian Jedi Knights, "Only dreamers like this fool."

"Well, you're wrong about there not being any Jedi here anymore, Baze," Chirrut told him, "These two female Mandalorians, they're Jedi. And the Force did protect me."

"I protected you," Baze argued.

"How do you know about the Force?" Satele asked Chirrut.

"You have a strong belief in the Force," Janus stated, "Are you one of the Guardians of the Whills?"

"He has a point," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister's boyfriend, "Do you have an affiliation with the Guardian of the Whills?"

"I am," Chirrut answered.

"Can you get us to Saw Gerrera?" Jyn asked Chirrut and Baze.

Just then, a group of Saw's Partisans came out of hiding as they grabbed them all as they all shouted in an alien language with Benthic leading them as he held a sniper rifle with his brother, Erido standing behind him as they aimed their blasters at them.

"Can't you see?" Chirrut asked the Partisans, "We are no friends of the Empire."

"Tell that to the one who killed our men," Benthic retorted in his native language he placed his rifle's butt on the ground after two of the Partisans placed stuncuffs over Chirrut's wrists.

"Anyone who kills me or my friends will answer to Saw Gerrera," Jyn told the Tognath.

"And the same goes for me, my twin sister and my boyfriend," Satele added.

"And why is that?" Benthic asked them in his native language.

"Because I'm the daughter of Galen Erso," Jyn answered.

"And me and my sister are the daughters of the countess of Clan Wren, Ursa Wren," Satele told him at the same time, "I'm Satele Wren, my sister is Sabine Wren and my boyfriend is Janus Wren. And I'm a friend of Saw's and I know your brother."

"Take them!" Benthic ordered the Partisans in his native language as they placed black colored bags over the heads of Jyn, Cassian and Baze as Erido took Satele, Sabine and Janus' helmets before the Partisans did the same to the three Mandalorians.

"Are you kidding me? I'm blind," Chirrut said with disbelief as the Partisans placed a bag over his head as well before they forced him onto his feet.

The TIE fighters that were flying around Jedha soon began to fly back towards the Star Destroyer hovering over Jedha City with everyone within the city looking upwards and talking to themselves as the Star Destroyer and every single Imperial ship began to fly away from the city as Protocol 13 was being initiated, the same Imperial protocol that the rebels used to liberate Lothal, eight months prior.

As the Imperial forces were being evacuated from Jedha, Benthic, Erido and the other Partisans were escorting Cassian, Jyn, Cirrut, Baze, Satele, Sabine and Janus to an ancient monastery called the Catacombs of Cadera, which Saw Gerrera had taken as his base on Jedha.

As soon as they entered the Catacombs of Cadera, the Partisans pushed everyone but Satele and Jyn into a cell before Cassian went to charge at the Partisan that placed them in the cell, only for the Partisan to kick him to the ground and spoke to him in an alien language before exiting the cell and locking the cell's door as he spoke yet again as Cassian stood up, while Sabine sat down as she closed her eyes and went into a meditative stance as she began to meditate.

Cassian looked outside the cell's door as he watched as the Partisans were playing games and watching a hologram of a Twi'lek dancer.

Four human Partisans then walked down the stairs to the room with two of them escorting Satele and Jyn each.

"I'm one with the Force, the Force is with me," Satele and Jyn both heard Chirrut chant as the human Partisans continued to escort them, "I'm one with the Force, the Force is with me."

"Do either of you pray?" Baze asked Cassian and Janus.

"I'm one with the Force, the Force is with me," Chirrut continued to chant, "I'm one with the Force, the Force is with me."

"I don't pray, but I follow the resol'nare," Janus answered.

"Really?" Base said with disbelief as he looked at Cassian as he realized that he didn't pray either as he looked at Chirrut and Sabine, "He's praying for the door to open."

"It bothers him because he knows it's possible," Chirrut retorted, causing Baze to snicker, "Baze Malbus was once the most devoted Guardian of us all."

"I'm beginning to think the Force and I have different priorities," Cassian stated as he took a sharp object out from his sock and placed it in his mouth.

"The Force always has something different in mind for everyone, Cassian," Sabine told Cassian.

"Relax, Captain Andor," Chirrut assured Cassian, "We've been in worse cages than this one."

"This is the first for me," Cassian told him as he removed the sharp object from his mouth.

"There is more than one sort of prison, Captain," Chirrut stated "I sense that you carry yours wherever you go." Baze then scoffed as Cassian continued to watch the Partisans outside their cell.

Outside a room within the Catacombs of Cadera, Satele and Jyn stood outside the room with Erido and Benthic standing with them as Benthic unlocked their stuncuffs before Erido handed Satele back her helmet as Benthic spoke in his native language before pushing them into the room as Satele placed her helmet under her arm.

"Jyn. Is it really you?" They heard Saw ask as he approached them, holding a staff as Satele noticed that Saw now had a cybernetic right leg instead of his normal leg and was wearing a cape like she does, "I can't believe it. And is that Satele Wren with you?"

"Must be quite a surprise," Jyn told the Onderonian extremist.

"Wow, you've lost your right leg since the last time I saw you on Faos station with my twin sister and boyfriend, Saw," Satele said as she looked at his cybernetic right leg.

"Are we not still friends, Jyn?" Saw asked Jyn.

"The last time I saw you, you gave me a knife and loaded blaster and told me to wait in a bunker until daylight," Jyn told him.

"I knew you were safe," Saw explained.

"You left me behind," Jyn told him.

"You were already the best soldier in my cadre," Saw stated.

"I was sixteen!" Jyn argued.

"I was protecting you!" He told her.

"You dumped me!" Jyn yelled at him with anger in her voice.

"Jyn, calm down, we're not here on a personal venture, we're here on business," Satele said, trying to calm Jyn down.

"You were the daughter of an Imperial science officer," Saw explained, "People were starting to figure that out. People who wanted to… to use you as a hostage. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. But today of all days? It's a trap, isn't it?"

"What?" Jyn asked him with confusion.

"Yeah, what do you think is a trap, Saw?" Satele said, agreeing with Jyn.

"The pilot! The message. All of it," he explained before grabbing his oxygen respirator and breathed through it for a few seconds before letting go of it as it strapped back onto his pressurized suit's chest, "Jyn, did they send both you and Satele… did they send both of you to kill me? There's not much of me left."

"No, they didn't, Saw," Satele answered.

"The Alliance wants my father," Jyn added, "They think he sent you a message about a weapon."

"The same weapon that you surmised that the Empire was building when you took me, Sabine, Janus and Chopper to Faos station last year," Satele told him, "So, where's the information that the Imperial pilot that you captured gave you?"

"I guess they think by sending us, you might actually help them out," Jyn went on.

"So what is it that you want, Jyn?" Saw asked her.

"They wanted an introduction, they've got it," Jyn answered, "I'm out now. The rest of you can do what you want."

"You care not about the cause, Jyn?" Saw asked her.

"Jyn, you know that you'll eventually have to join the Rebellion, no matter what because of the Empire's cruelty," Satele told her, "Some of us thought the Empire was good till we saw what the Empire really was, like with my twin sister, they forced her to build a weapon that targets the heart of our culture and tradition, Beskar, when she was a cadet at the Imperial Academy on our home world of Mandalore and with Kallus, they forced him to nearly wipe out the entire Lasat species on the planet of Lasan."

"The cause?" Jyn repeated with disbelief, "Seriously, you two? The Alliance… the… the rebels, whatever it is you're calling yourselves these days… all it's ever brought me is pain."

"You can stand to see the Imperial flag reign across the galaxy?" Saw asked Jyn with surprise.

"It's not a problem if you don't look up," She explained.

"I have something to show you, Jyn. Come," Saw told Jyn, "And Satele can come if she wants."

"I'd love to, Saw," Satele said as they began to follow the Onderonian.

They then began to walk forward as unbeknownst to them, a moon-sized object appeared over the atmosphere of Jedha.

"There's someone in the cell next to us," Sabine stated as she sensed someone in the cell next to the one that she, Janus, Cassian, Chirrut and Baze were inside of as she opened her eyes.

"What?" Baze said with confusion.

"You mean there's someone in the cell next to us?" Janus asked his girlfriend's sister.

"Yeah, that's what I mean, Janus," Sabine confirmed, "I sensed them with the Force."

"Where?" Baze asked as he walked over to the window to the cell next to them with tan skin, brown eyes and black hair with goggles on top of his forehead and wearing the uniform of an Imperial cargo pilot, "An Imperial pilot?"

"Pilot?" Cassian and Janus both muttered at the same time.

"I'm gonna kill him!" Baze growled with anger.

"No, no. No, wait! Come here!" Cassian protested as he raised over to Baze to try and stop him from killing the Imperial pilot, "No! Back off! Back off!"

"We were sent to authenticate his story and that he's defecting," Sabine told Baze.

"And from what we heard, the reason why he defected is because the Empire is building a super weapon," Janus added.

"Okay, okay," Cassian muttered to himself before speaking to the man in the cell next to the one that they were in, "Are you the pilot?" The man didn't answer and just groaned softly, "Hey. Hey. Are you the pilot? The shuttle pilot?"

"Pilot?" The man repeated.

"What's wrong with him?" Chirrut asked them.

"Saw must've done something to him," Sabine answered.

"I had the exact same thought, Sabine," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend's sister.

"Galen Erso," Cassian told the man, "You know that name?"

"I brought the message. I'm the pilot," the man told him before chuckling slowly for a second as he slowly turned his head towards him, "I'm the pilot. I'm the pilot."

"What's your name?" Janus asked him.

"Bodhi," the pilot answered, "Bodhi Rook."

"Okay. Good. Now where is Galen Erso?" Cassian asked Bodhi.

"This is the message I was sent," Saw told Satele and Jyn as they entered a communications room before he activated a holocommunicator from a console in the room as a man with light skin, gray hair and stubble along with brown eyes, wearing an Imperial uniform colored green with two code cylinders inside of the uniform's pockets and a logo on both sides of the shoulders, representing a stylized faceted Kyber crystal appearing from a holoprojector and this man was Galen Erso.

"Saw, if you are watching this, then perhaps there's a chance to save the Alliance," Galen began, "Perhaps there's a chance to explain myself and, though I don't dare hope for too much, a chance for Jyn, if she's alive, if you can possibly find her, to let her know that my love for her has never faded and how desperately I've missed her." As Galen was saying that, Jyn began to walk around the holocommunicator to look at her father's holotransmission.

"Is that your father, Jyn?" Satele asked Jyn.

"Yes, Satele, that's my father," Jyn answered.

"Jyn, my Stardust, I can't imagine what you think of me," Galen went on, "When I was taken, I faced some bitter truths. I was told that soon enough Krennic would have you as well."

"Is he talking about Director Orson Krennic?" Satele asked Saw, "Me, Sabine and Janus have heard of him."

"Indeed, Satele," Saw confirmed.

"As time went by, I knew that you were either dead or so well hidden that he would never find you," Galen went on, "I knew if I had refused to work, if I took my own life, it would only be a matter of time before Krennic realized he no longer needed me to complete the project."

"What project?" Satele asked Saw, "The super weapon you were suspecting the Empire was building when we were on Faos station?"

"Just watch and listen," Saw told her.

"So I did the one thing nobody expected. I lied. I learned to lie," the hologram of Galen stated, "I played the part of a beaten man resigned to the sanctuary of his work. I made myself indispensable, and all the while, I laid the groundwork of my revenge. We call it the Death Star. There is no better name. And the day is coming soon when it will be unleashed. I've placed a weakness deep within the system. A flaw so small and powerful, they will never find it. But, Jyn. Jyn, If you're listening, my beloved, so much of my life has been wasted." Jyn then began to smile and tear up with emotion from looking at and watching the recording of her father, "I try to think of you only in the moments when I'm strong, because the pain of not having you with me. Your mother, our family. The pain of that loss is so overwhelming I risk failing even now. It's just so hard not to think of you. Think of where you are, my Stardust."

The moon-sized object also known as the Death Star then began to eclipse Jedha's sun as it positioned itself over Jedha City.

"Saw, the reactor module, that's the key," the hologram of Galen went on as Saw stepped closer to Jyn, "That's the place I've laid my trap. It's well hidden and unstable. One blast to any part of it will destroy the entire station."

The Death Star then fired six green light beams, which merged into one and powered by eight Kyber crystals as the light beams became a superlaser as the super weapon's superlaser fired at Jedha City, destroying the entire city and killing everyone within the city.

"You'll need the plans, the structural plans for the Death Star to find the reactor," the hologram of Galen told them as Saw sensed the destruction of Jedha City and walked over to a window in the room as Satele sensed the destruction as well but she felt it through the Force instead before she suddenly fell onto the floor and felt something inside her stomach want to get out but couldn't as she dropped her helmet, "I know there's a complete engineering archive in the data vault at the Citadel Tower on Scarif. Any pressurized explosion to the reactor module will set off a chain reaction that will destroy the entire station…"

The recording of Galen then suddenly cut off as the entire place began to rumble and shake as Jyn collapsed onto her knees as she fell to the floor as the Death Star began to move away from Jedha as it stopped eclipsing Jedha's sun.

Meanwhile back in the cells that Sabine, Janus, Cassian, Chirrut, Baze along with the one that Bodhi was in, Sabine also sensed the destruction of Jedha City, but not as strong as her sister along with Chirrut, but not as much as Satele and Sabine as he wasn't very strong in the Force as they also felt the base begin to rumble and shake as the Partisans outside the cells begin to run for their lives as Chirrut stood up.

"Cassian, let me," Sabine told Cassian as she noticed that he was about to use his hands to unlock the cell's door and stopped him from doing so before extending her hand out towards the control panel of the cell's door and unlocked it as she used the Force on it, causing the cell's door to slide upwards.

"Go. Go," Cassian ordered everyone as he exited the cell before everyone else did the same to the area where Saw's Partisans placed everyone's weapons, including Sabine's lightsaber as well as her and Janus' helmets as the Partisans shouted in an alien language as he grabbed his comlink and activated it, "K-2? K-2, where are you?"

"There you are," K-2SO said on the comlink as Sabine and Janus grabbed their WESTAR-35s and placed them back in their armors' holsters before Sabine grabbed her lightsaber and clipped it back onto her armor's belt before she and Janus placed their helmets back over their heads, "I'm standing by as you requested. Although there's a problem on the horizon. There's no horizon."

"Locate our position. Bring that ship in here, now!" Cassian ordered K-2SO as he left Janus and the others.

"Where are you going?" Chirrut asked Cassian.

"I've gotta find Jyn and Satele," Cassian answered.

"Well, in that case, I'm going with you," Sabine told Cassian as she followed him before turning around towards her sister's boyfriend, "Janus, get the pilot."

"Will do, Sabine," Janus responded.

"Why do we need the pilot?" Baze asked the Mandalorian as she left him.

"Because he has the location of where Jyn's father is," Janus answered.

"Well then, I'll get the pilot," Baze told him as he held his MWC-35c in his arm as he grabbed Chirrut's staff and threw it towards Chirrut before he caught it and swung it around for a second as Baze approached Bodhi and aimed his MWC-35c at the pilot's cell door.

"No, no, no," Bodhi protested, thinking that he was going to shoot him as he backed away as Baze's blaster bolt shot the cell door's control panel, causing the door to slide upwards.

"Let's go!" Baze told him.

"Jyn!" Cassian yelled as he ran through Saw's base as he looked for Jyn and Satele.

"Satele!" Sabine said, calling out her sister's name as she followed Cassian before they soon entered Saw's communication's room as they saw the Onderonian extremist standing near the room's window as he turned to them as Cassian and Sabine saw Jyn on her knees, while Satele was on her stomach, crying with her helmet next to her on the floor.

"Hey. We've got to go," Cassian told Jyn.

"Why are you on the floor, Sis?" Sabine asked Satele.

"I don't know, Bine," Satele answered as tears continued to fall down from her eyes, "All I felt was the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people all at once when suddenly I felt something within my stomach trying to get out."

"I felt them all die as well, Sat," Sabine told her as she picked up her sister's helmet and helped her back up and handed Satele back her helmet, "What caused them all to die all at once?"

"The super weapon that Saw suspected the Empire was building when he took us, Janus and Chopper to Faos station last year, Sis," Satele answered, "A recorded message of Jyn's father called it the Death Star and it just wiped out Jedha City, killing everyone in the city." Sabine then gasped in horror, "I feel the same, Bine. This is the most evil thing the Empire has ever done."

"Jyn, we know where your father is," Cassian told Jyn as he walked over to her and grabbed her by the arm.

"Go with them, Jyn," Saw ordered her, "You must go."

"Come with us," Jyn pleaded with him.

"I will run no longer," Saw said, refusing to go with her and the others.

"Come on," Jyn said, pleading with him again.

"But you must save yourself," Saw added.

"Come on," Cassian urged Jyn.

"Go!" Saw ordered Jyn.

"There's no Time!" Cassian told Jyn as they, along with Sabine and Satele, left Saw's communication's room as Satele placed her helmet back over her head as they began to leave Saw's base.

"Save the Rebellion!" Saw yelled out to them, "Save the dream."

The Catacombs of Cadera then slowly began to crumble as everyone but Saw left the ancient monastery as Bodhi saw the explosion that the Death Star caused when it fired upon Jedha City as pieces of the ground outside of the catacombs continued to collapse to the ground.

Soon parts of the ground began to rise upwards as Baze looked at the remnants of Jedha City that was heading towards them before he noticed Cassian's U-wing flying towards them as it was being piloted by K-2SO.

"Chirrut, let's go!" Baze ordered Chirrut as they began running towards the U-wing.

"Come on!" Cassian yelled as he, Jyn, Satele and Sabine ran out of the catacombs, "Let's get out of here!" They then began to run towards the U-wing as it landed in front of them as its doorway slid open as the seven of them ran into the U-wing through its doorway with Bodhi entering last, "Get us out of here! Punch it!" Jyn looked at the devastation that the Death Star caused as Cassian climbed into the pilot's seat of the pilot's control stick.

"I'm not very optimistic about our odds," K-2SO commented as he looked at Cassian for a second.

"Not now, K. Come on!" Cassian said as they began to pilot the U-wing as it lifted off of the ground and began to fly away from the destruction that the Death Star caused.

Meanwhile back in the catacombs, Saw walked towards the window of the communications room as he watched the remnants of Jedha City head towards him as the U-wing flew away from the catacombs as he unhooked his oxygen respirator from his pressurized suit and held his arms out, "For Steela!" The remnants of Jedha City then flew towards him, killing him and destroying the catacombs.

As the U-wing continued to fly away from the catacombs, Satele, Sabin and Janus removed their helmets from their helmets and placed them under their arms with Satele still having tears falling down from her eyes as the others sat on the U-wing's seats in the cargo hold as both Satele and Sabine felt Saw becoming one with the Force.

"Nu kry'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la," Satele and Sabine both muttered to themselves in Mando'a at the same time as they gave Saw a salute.

"Come on!" Cassian yelled as he and K-2SO continued to pilot the U-wing through the remnants of Jedha City before he turned to K-2SO, "Punch it."

"I haven't completed my calculations," K-2SO protested.

"I'll make them for you," Cassian told him as he flicked a few buttons in the cockpit above him before pulling the Hyperspace lever forward, causing the ship to jump into Hyperspace as the U-wing left Jedha and the Jedha system.
