As Cassian's U-wing traveled through Hyperspace, Satele sniffed her nose as she continued to cry as she thought about the people, who were killed by the Death Star when it fired upon Jedha City, while Cassian was contacting rebel command back on Yavin, confirming Bodhi's story that the Empire had indeed built a super weapon that can destroy planets and had been used on Jedha.
"What are you crying about?" Bodhi asked Satele as he walked up to Satele, Sabine and Janus.
"All the death and destruction that the Empire's super weapon, the Death Star caused," Satele answered with sadness in her voice, "All those hundreds of thousands of people killed all at once."
"How would you know how many people were killed all at once?" Bodhi asked her.
"Because both me and my sister are Force-Sensitive," Satele answered.
"I thought you Mandos couldn't be Force-Sensitive within the modern Mandalorian society," Bodhi said with shock, surprise and confusion in his voice.
"We Mandalorians can be Force-Sensitive just like anyone else in the galaxy, even if the times have changed over the 4,000 years since Tarre Vizsla was alive," Satele stated, "They just have to have at least over ten thousand Midichlorians to be Force-Sensitive."
"That does make sense," Bodhi said as he realized that she had a point, "Everything in the galaxy must have a connection to what the Jedi called the Force."
"I sense that something's troubling you, Teal'ika," Janus told his girlfriend as he looked at her with worry, "What is it?"
"It's just that something happened to me when the Death Star destroyed Jedha City, Jan'ika," Satele answered.
"What was it?" Janus asked her.
"When I felt all those people die within Jedha City, I felt something painful inside my stomach as if something was wanting to get out but couldn't," Satele answered.
"I have a suspicion on what it was, Satele," Janus told her.
"What?" Satele asked him as she looked at her boyfriend.
"I think you might be pregnant," Janus answered.
"But I can't be," Satele said with disbelief and confusion, "If I was, I would have felt their Force signature already."
"As I said, you may be or you may not be," Janus told her, "You could be only a week along and their Force signature hasn't developed yet."
"I guess you're right, Jan'ika," Satele said with a chuckle, agreeing with her boyfriend.
"If you are, you'll be a great mother, Satele," Sabine told her sister.
"Yeah, I would be, Sis," Satele said, agreeing with her twin sister.
"And Janus, I think you'd be a great father," Sabine told her sister's boyfriend.
"Yeah, I would," Janus said, agreeing with Sabine, "I always wanted to have kids since I was a child."
"And you'd be a great aunt, Sis," Satele told her sister, causing Sabine to chuckle.
Within the Great Temple's communications room on Yavin 4, a male rebel signal intelligence technician with fair skin, blue eyes and black hair along with a mustache named Private Tenzigo Weems, wearing microphones over his ears as Draven, Kallus and Yularen, who was wearing an earth colored rebel officer's uniform rather than his ISB uniform he was wearing from when he was an Imperial officer, walked over to him.
"Anything to report?" Yularen asked him.
"Yes, Colonel," Tenzigo answered as he looked at him, Kallus and Draven before reading what he had to report, "A coded message from Captain Andor. Weapon confirmed. Jedha destroyed. Mission target located on Eadu, please advise."
"Destroyed?" Draven repeated with disbelief.
"This sounds similar to what the Empire tried to do with the Geonosians," Kallus stated.
"You make a point, Captain Kallus, but this sounds way worse than Geonosis," Yularen said, agreeing with Kallus, "An entire moon destroyed."
"Proceed," Draven told Tenzigo, "Tell him my orders still stand."
"What orders?" Kallus asked Draven as he crossed his arms.
"What did you order Captain Andor, General?" Yularen said, agreeing with Kallus.
"I ordered him for when he locates Galen Erso, he'll kill him instead of rescuing him," Draven answered with reluctance in his voice.
"But that wasn't the mission," Yularen stated.
"Colonel Yularen is right," Kallus said, agreeing with the former ISB colonel, "Cassian's mission was to bring Galen Erso back and deliver him to the Imperial Senate as testimony that the Empire was building a weapon that can destroy entire planets."
"What else could I have done?" Draven asked them, "He's an Imperial scientist!"
"A reluctant one at that," Kallus stated.
"And reports say that he defected from the Empire over 10 years ago with Saw Gerrera helping him and his family to go into hiding to hide from Director Krennic before he found out where they were hiding, having his wife, Lyra killed and kidnapped him," Yularen added.
"Nonetheless he has to kill Galen Erso," Draven told them.
"I doubt that Senator Mothma would even condone such orders," Kallus stated.
"I agree, Captain Kallus," Yularen said, agreeing with Kallus, "But if this backfires, we'll tell Senator Mothma."
"Colonel Yularen is right," Kallus told Draven, agreeing with his mentor, "We'll tell her if this fails."
"Anyways, tell him to proceed with haste and keep to the plan," Draven told Tenzigo before the rebel signal intelligence technician went to relay Draven's reply to Cassian with his communications system, "We have no idea what he's building for the Empire. We have to kill Galen Erso while we have the chance. Even if he is a reluctant Imperial."
As the U-wing continued to travel through Hyperspace, Cassian had a microphone over his head as he was listening to Draven's reply that Tenzigo was relaying to him.
"Baze, tell me," Chirrut said as he looked at Baze, "All of it? The whole city? Tell me."
"All of it," Baze confirmed.
"And the entire moon is nothing but nearly a molten rock," Satele added.
"And over a hundred thousand people were killed in the blast," Sabine said with sadness in her voice.
"And we'll find a way to destroy it for all those people who were killed," Janus stated.
"Must be what all the doonium that the Empire was mining that Pryce told us was for," Sabine surmised, "She told us they were transferring them from all sorts of planets like Lothal to an unknown point in the galaxy, but didn't know what for."
"And now we know," Satele said, agreeing with her sister.
"They were all for this Death Star," Janus stated, "No wonder a rebel agent was trying to halt those shipments."
"Understood," Cassian said as Bodhi removed his goggles from his head before Cassian removed the microphone from his head and turned off the U-wing's communications system before he turned to K-2SO, "Set course for Eadu."
"Setting course for Eadu," K-2SO announced.
"Is that where my father is?" Jyn asked them.
"I'm pretty sure it is, Jyn," Satele told her.
"I think so," Cassian answered.
"So you're Galen's daughter?" Bodhi asked Jyn.
"You know him?" She asked him.
"I am Bodhi, the pilot," Bodhi said, introducing himself to Jyn.
"You brought the message," Jyn realized.
"Yes," Bodhi confirmed, "Your father, he said I could get right by myself. He said I could make it right, if I was brave enough, to listen to what was in my heart. Do something about it. Guess it was too late."
"It wasn't too late," Jyn argued.
"Seems pretty late to me," Baze told her.
"No. We can beat the people who did this," Jyn stated, "My father's message, I've seen it."
"So did I," Satele told them.
"They call it the Death Star," Jyn informed them, "But they have no idea there's a way to defeat it." She then stood up and walked up to Cassian, "You're wrong about my father."
"He did build it," Cassian stated.
"Because he knew they'd do it without him," Jyn explained, "My father made a choice. He sacrificed himself for the Rebellion. He's rigged a trap inside it." She then looked at Bodhi, "That's why he sent you, to bring that message."
"Where is it?" Cassian asked her, "Where's the message?"
"It was a hologram," Jyn told him.
"You have that message, right?" Cassian asked Jyn and Satele before Jyn shook her head.
"Everything happened so fast," Jyn explained.
"Did you see it?" Cassian asked Bodhi, who just shook his head.
"You don't believe me?" Jyn asked Cassian.
"I'm not the one you've got to convince," Cassian told her.
"I believe her," Baze told him.
"As do I," Sabine said, agreeing with Baze.
"Me too," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend's sister and Baze.
"That's good to know," Cassian told them.
"What kind of trap?" Baze asked Jyn, "You said your father made a trap."
"The reactor," Jyn answered, "He's placed a weakness there. He's been hiding it for years. He said if you can blow the reactor, the module, the whole system goes down."
"Anything with a proton torpedo can destroy it," Satele added, "Like my Kom'rk-class fighter, a Y-wing or an X-wing."
"You need to send word to the Alliance," Jyn told Cassian as she turned to him.
"I've done that," Cassian stated.
"They have to know there's a way to destroy this thing," Jyn explained, "They have to go to Scarif to get the plans."
"I can't risk sending that," Cassian argued, "We're in the heart of Imperial territory."
"Then we'll find him and bring him back," Jyn told him, "And he can tell them himself."
As soon as the U-wing jumped out of Hyperspace, it began flying towards a rocky blue-hued planet with mountains, shrouded in gloomy rainstorms, wind and lightning strikes and this planet was none other than Eadu, the planet that the Empire was keeping Jyn's father.
"I'm one with the Force, the Force is with me," Chirrut chanted as the U-wing traveled through the atmosphere of Eadu and began to evade the planet's mountainous terrain.
"20 degrees to the right," K-2SO told Cassian as they were piloting and co-piloting the U-wing with Bodhi standing behind them, "10 degrees up."
"Lower, lower, lower," Bodhi ordered, "Lower!"
"Are you sure this is the way?" K-2SO asked him.
"They have landing trackers here. They have patrol squadrons," Bodhi explained, "You've got to stay in the canyon. Keep it low."
As the U-wing continued to travel through Eadu's atmosphere, the ship's alarms began to go off.
"Watch your right!" Cassian told K-2SO before Baze's MWC-35c fell to the floor as Baze grabbed onto the ship's rail above them.
"There's a 26% chance of failure," K-2SO reported to Cassian.
"How much farther?" Cassian asked Bodhi.
"I don't know, I'm not sure," Bodhi answered, "I never really come this way. But we're close, we're close. I know that."
"Now, there's a 35% chance of failure," K-2SO stated.
"I don't want to know. Thank you!" Cassian retorted, sarcastically.
"I understand," K-2SO told him.
"Now! Put it down, now!" Bodhi ordered Cassian and K-2SO as they saw a facility in the distance.
"The wind," K-2SO argued.
"If you keep going, you'll be right over the shuttle depot," Bodhi explained, "Watch out!"
"K!" Cassian yelled out to K-2SO as one of the U-wing's thrusters slammed into one of the planet's mountains, destroying the thrusters, knocking Bodhi to the floor as the ship began to go down, "Hold on tight! We're coming down hard!"
The U-wing soon crash landed in a rocky field of mountainous terrain.
"Try them again," Draven ordered Tenzigo as he had his left arm crossed with his left hand touching his right elbow and his right hand touching his chin.
"I am, sir. We…" Tenzigo assured him before looking at him, "The signal's gone dead."
"Squadron up," Draven told a male rebel signal intelligence technician with light skin, brown eyes and black hair, "Target Eadu."
"Bad idea, General," Kallus told Draven.
"Captain Kallus is right, General Draven," Yularen said, agreeing with Kallus, "These are Imperial tactics, not rebel tactics."
"And they are ones that Saw Gerrera would attempt," Kallus added, "The Alliance wouldn't attempt it unless absolutely necessary."
"I will order whatever I want as this is my operation," Draven told them before turning back to the rebel signal intelligence technician with light skin, brown eyes and black hair, "Tell General Merrick to ready his men."
"Yes, sir," the rebel signal intelligence technician said before leaving the room.
Back on Eadu, Cassian was outside the U-wing, checking the damage of the ship with a flashlight he was holding in his hand as everyone else was in the U-wing.
"How about now?" Bodhi asked everyone, "Check stabilizers."
How's the ship, Cassian?" Satele asked Cassian as he reentered the U-wing as the ship's door slid open.
"The ship's not going to be able to fly, Satele," Cassian answered as he removed his jacket before turning to the pilot, "Bodhi, where's the lab?"
"The research facility?" Bodhi asked him.
"Yeah," Cassian answered, "Where is it?"
"It's just over that ridge," Bodhi answered.
"That's a shuttle depot straight ahead of us," Cassian stated as he put on a coat, "You are sure of that?"
"Yes," Bodhi answered.
"We'll have to hope there's an Imperial ship left to steal," Cassian stated as he walked over to the U-wing's cockpit before turning to everyone, "Hopefully the storm keeps up and keeps us hidden down here." He then placed his hand over Bodhi's chest, "Bodhi, you're coming with me. We'll go up the ridge and check it out."
"I'm coming with you," Jyn told Cassian.
"No, your father's message. We can't risk it. You're the messenger," Cassian protested as he grabbed equipment for his A280-CFE blaster pistol as if they were for converting it into a sniper rifle.
"That's ridiculous, we all got the message," Jyn argued as he began to place the equipment for his blaster onto his A280-CFE blaster pistol as he converted it into a sniper rifle, "Everyone here knows it."
"I know it," Satele told him, "Remember, I was there when the message was being played."
"I know it too," Sabine stated.
"As do I," Janus added, agreeing with them.
"'One blast to the reactor module and the whole system goes down,'" K-2SO said, repeating what Jyn said when she told them how to destroy the Death Star as Cassian's sniper rifle clicked as he finished converting his blaster pistol into a sniper rifle, "That's how you said it, Jyn, 'The whole system goes down.'"
"Get to work fixing our comms," Cassian ordered K-2SO, "All I want to do right now is get a handle on what we're up against. So we're gonna go very small and very careful up the ridge and see what's what. Let's get outta here."
Jyn looked out the U-wing's window as Cassian and Bodhi left the ship and watched them leave as they began heading towards the research facility where her father was as Satele and Sabine both felt a dark presence within the Force from Cassian as he and Bodhi left.
"Does he look like a killer?" Chirrut suddenly asked everyone.
"No, he doesn't," Janus answered.
"Janus is right, he doesn't," Baze said, agreeing with Janus, "He has the face of a friend."
"That's what Draven was telling him just before we left," Satele muttered to herself before she turned to her sister, "Did you feel that, Sis?"
"I did," Sabine confirmed, "He's gonna kill Galen Erso."
"Who are you all talking about?" Jyn asked everyone.
"Captain Andor," Baze answered.
"Why'd you ask that?" Jyn asked Chirrut, "What do you mean 'Does he look like a killer?'"
"The Force moves darkly near a creature that's about to kill," Chirrut explained.
"Me and Sabine also felt something dark from him within the Force as he and Bodhi left," Satele said, agreeing with Chirrut.
"And General Draven did speak to him before we left Yavin," Sabine added.
"You mean that Draven was ordering him to kill Jyn's father instead of rescuing him?" Janus asked his girlfriend and her sister.
"Exactly, Janus," Satele confirmed as she snapped her fingers.
"His weapon was in the sniper configuration," K-2SO added, causing Jyn to look at him.
As Cassian and Bodhi were traversing through the surface of Eadu, they were wearing the helmet of a rebel commando over their heads with Bodhi wearing the jacket of a rebel commando as they saw the research facility in the distance as Cassian began to aim his sniper rifle towards the facility.
"No, no, no. We've got to go up," Bodhi told Cassian as he began to climb up a hill-like formation next to him, "You can't see much from down there." Cassian then began to follow him.
"Sabine, Janus, we're going to stop Cassian from killing Jyn's father," Satele told her sister and boyfriend as she grabbed her helmet and placed it back over her head before Sabine and Janus did the same with their helmets as the U-wing's door slid open as Satele turned to Jyn, "And you're coming with us, Jyn."
"I was already going to," Jyn said as she followed Satele, Sabine and Janus out of the U-wing and onto the surface of Eadu after she put on a jacket and helmet of a rebel commando.
Back on Yavin, it was night out as a group of rebel officers were holding up signals with the colors red and green on them as X-wings with blue markings on them with one of them being flown by Merrick as the starfighters began to take off from outside the Great Temple as they flew away from the Great Temple as they began to leave the moon.
Cassian and Bodhi were both breathing heavily as they were traversing across a ridge before the rebel Intelligence officer grunted as rocks fell down from the ridge as he looked at Bodhi.
"This way," Bodhi whispered to Cassian.
"I'll be right behind you," Cassian told Bodhi, "Come on."
As Satele, Sabine, Janus and Jyn traveled through Eadu's surface, they stopped near a cliff as the three Mandalorians flipped down their helmets' microbinocular viewplates' rangefinders with Satele and Sabine having their lightsabers in their hands as they and Jyn looked down at the research facility and canyon below them and saw a ladder that leads up to the research facility before they began heading towards the ladder and the research facility after the three Mandalorians flipped their helmets' microbinocular viewplates' rangefinders back up.
"Where are you going?" Baze asked Chirrut as he watched him leave the U-wing and began walking across Eadu's surface with his staff.
"I'm gonna follow Satele, Sabine, Janus and Jyn," Chirrut answered, "Their path is clear."
"Alone?" Baze said with surprise, "Good luck!"
"I don't need luck," Chirrut told him, "I have you!" Baze then began to follow Chirrut as backup.
"What are they doing?" K-2SO asked himself as he noticed that Chirrut and Baze had gone out of the ship and onto the planet's surface as he was sitting on the U-wing's co-pilot's seat, "If Cassian or the Mandalorians comes back, we're leaving without them."
As Satele, Sabine, Janus and Jyn approached the ladder to the research facility, they were breathing heavily as they looked up at the research facility as they stood in front of the ladder.
Cassian and Bodhi soon reached the top of the hill-like formation that they were climbing up and stopped in between two rock formations as they crouched in between the rock formations before Cassian took out his pair of macrobinoculars and placed them over his eyes as they looked down at the research facility's landing pad ahead of them in the distance as he saw two stormtroopers standing on opposite sides from a blast door that leads to the landing pad with another one standing in front of the blast door as a few stormtroopers was escorting a group of humans wearing the uniforms of Imperial scientists out of the research facility.
"You see Erso out there?" Cassian asked Bodhi as he handed him the pair of macrobinoculars before he placed them over his eyes.
"We've come too far," Baze told Chirrut as they neared a cliff close to the research facility as he crouched and placed his MWC-35c's scope over his eye as he aimed it at the research facility.
"Patience, my friend," Chirrut assured Baze as he placed his left hand over Baze's right shoulder.
As Cassian, Bodhi, Chirrut and Baze were overlooking the research facility from two separate locations, Satele, Sabine, Janus and Jyn were climbing up the ladder up towards the research facility.
"That's him," Bodhi said as he removed the pair of macrobinoculars from his eyes as he saw Galen within the group of Imperial scientists on the research facility's landing pad as he handed the pair of macrobinoculars back to Cassian, "That's him. Galen, in the dark suit."
As Cassian placed the pair of macrobinoculars back over his eyes, he saw that Galen was speaking to a few of the Imperial scientists when they suddenly heard an Imperial shuttle fly past them, causing Cassian to remove the pair of macrobinoculars from his eyes as he turned to the Imperial shuttle as he and Bodhi ducked down as to not alert the Imperials on board the shuttle as it flew towards and landed on the research facility's landing pad as it flipped its wings upwards.
"Get back down there and find us a ride outta here," Cassian ordered Bodhi as he turned to him.
"Well, what are you doing?" Bodhi asked Cassian as he saw that he was loading a blaster pack into his sniper rifle.
"You heard me," Cassian told him.
"You said we came up here just to have a look," Bodhi reminded him.
"I'm here, I'm looking," Cassian told him, "Go." Bodhi then got up as he began to go and look for a ship so they could escape Eadu on, "Hurry!"
As the Imperial shuttle landed on the research facility's landing pad, the ramp of the Imperial shuttle lowered as a squad of Death Troopers, wielding E-11D blaster carbines, a group of Imperial officers with one of them being a man with light skin, blue eyes and gray hair, wearing a white Imperial military uniform and a cape along with a black colored Imperial cap over his head and this man was none other than Director Orson Krennic of Imperial weapons division as he began to walk across the landing pad towards Galen and the Imperial scientists.
"Excellent news, Galen. The battle station is complete," Krennic told Galen as he approached him, "You must be very proud."
"Proud as I can be, Krennic," Galen replied.
"Gather your engineers," Krennic ordered Galen, "I have an announcement."
Bodhi was running across the cliff side that the three Mandalorians and Jyn were standing at before they began heading towards the research facility as he panted as he went to find a ship so they could leave Eadu in.
"Is that all of them?" Krennic asked Galen as the Imperial scientists stepped forward.
"Yes," Galen answered as he walked next to one of the Imperial officers as Cassian aimed his sniper rifle at him from the cliff he was on top of.
"Gentlemen, one of you betrayed the Empire," Krennic told the Imperial scientists, causing them all to gasp and exclaim with shock in their voices, "One of you has conspired with a pilot to send messages to the Rebellion. And I urge that traitor, step forward."
Cassian still had his sniper's scope aimed at Galen as he removed raindrops from his eye.
As none of the Imperial scientists stepped forward, the Death Troopers walked forward and stood next to Galen, Krennic and the Imperial officers as they spoke in their garbled voices.
"Very well," Krennic muttered, "I'll consider it a group effort then." He then realized that he would after to kill one of the Imperial scientists so that the traitor of the Empire would reveal himself, "Ready!"
"No! No!" The Imperial scientists protested.
"Aim!" Krennic ordered the Death Troopers as they aimed their E-11 blaster carbines at the Imperial scientists as Galen stepped forward, "And fire!"
"Stop! Stop! Stop! Krennic, stop!" Galen pleaded with Krennic as he stood in front of the Imperial scientists, "It was me! It was me!"
As Cassian went to pull the trigger and kill Galen, something in his mind was preventing him from carrying out Draven's orders to assassinate Galen.
"They have nothing to do with it," Galen told Krennic, "Spare them." Krennic then gave Galen a gesture to come towards him.
Through his sniper rifle's scope, Cassian watched as Galen walked towards Krennic as he breathed heavily before he removed his sniper rifle's scope from his eyes as he couldn't do it and kill Jyn's father.
"Fire!" Krennic ordered his Death Troopers before they fired their E-11D blaster carbines at the Imperial scientists, killing them all instantly as they all fell to the floor before Krennic slapped Galen on the mouth, causing him to fall onto his knees.
Back on the cliff, Cassian pulled his pair of macrobinoculars back out and looked at Krennic and Galen with them as he zoomed in on Krennic and Galen to see what was happening.
"How do I know the weapon is complete? Let me share with you some details," Krennic told Galen as he bent down towards him as Satele, Sabine, Janus and Jyn finished climbing up the ladder to the research facility as Satele knocked a stormtrooper to the ground before she used the Force to send it flying off of the facility to the ground as they hid behind containers.
Cassian watched as the three Mandalorians and Jyn sneak around the research facility with Satele and Sabine wielding their lightsabers, Janus wielding his WESTAR-35s and Jyn holding an E-11 blaster rifle in her hand.
"Cassian!" Cassian suddenly heard K-2SO contact him from his comlink as he removed his macrobinoculars from his eyes as he went to grab his comlink.
"Cassian, can you hear me?" K-2SO asked Cassian with the U-wing's communications system.
"I'm here," Cassian said as he answered K-2SO's call, "You've got it working?"
"Affirmative, yes. Although we have a problem," K-2SO answered as Bodhi stood behind him and grabbed something from the ship's co-pilot's seat before exiting the U-wing, "There's an Alliance squadron approaching. Clear the area."
"No, no, no, no! Tell them to hold off!" Cassian ordered the KX-series security droid, "Satele, Sabine, Janus and Jyn are on that platform."
"Jedha, Saw Gerrera, his band of fanatics, their holy city, one of the last reminders of the Jedi besides those two Mandalorians Jedi rebels, gone," Krennic told Galen as Jyn and the three Mandalorian hid nearby.
"You'll never win," Galen stated.
"Now where have I heard that before?" Krennic asked him.
"Relay from Captain Andor," Tenzigo and the other rebel signal intelligence technician heard K-2SO say from one of the communications systems in the Great Temple's communication's room back on Yavin.
"General," the rebel signal intelligence technician called out to Draven.
"Captain Andor requesting a delay on squadron support," they heard K-2SO say as Draven, Yularen and Kallus approach them, "Alliance forces on site. Please confirm."
"Get the squadron leader on," Draven ordered the rebel signal intelligence technician, causing Yularen and Kallus to smile, "Get him on now!"
"They're already engaged, sir," the rebel signal intelligence technician told him.
Alarms began blaring around the research facility, causing Krennic to get up as Satele, Sabine, Janus and Jyn began to look around as unbeknownst to them the X-wings from Blue Squadron flew across the planet's surface, flying through the mountainous formations as they headed towards the research facility as they flew past the cliff that Chirrut and Baze were on and began to fire upon the research facility's landing pad with the three Mandalorians and Jyn watching as the X-wings' lasers killed a couple of stormtroopers and destroyed the blast door.
"Jyn and the Mandalorians. No," Cassian said with shock and horror in his voice from the cliff that he was on before he began to head towards the research facility.
"Return fire!" Krennic ordered the Death Troopers as he pointed at the X-wings that were swooping around the research facility, "To your stations now!" He then began to walk forward and pointed at an Imperial officer, "Get our fighters in the air now!"
"Jyn, go to your father!" Satele ordered Jyn as she and Sabine got out from hiding and ignited their lightsabers, while Janus aimed his WESTAR-35s at stormtroopers as he also came out of hiding as the X-wings went back in for another attack.
"We'll cover you," Sabine assured Jyn as she and Satele began to deflect the stormtroopers' blaster bolts with Janus firing his WESTAR-35s at the stormtroopers as Jyn nodded a response.
"Father!" Jyn yelled as she got out of hiding, causing Galen to look at her with shock and almost as if he's seen a ghost before he slowly began to walk towards her before Krennic saw her and aimed a DT-97 blaster pistol at her when an X-wing suddenly fired a proton bomb on the landing pad, killing every stormtrooper within its path and fatally wounding Galen as he fell to the ground.
As the X-wings began to fly away from the research facility, TIE fighters began to be deployed from a hangar bay within the research facility as they began to chase and fire upon the X-wings before turbolasers around the research facility began to fire upon the X-wings as well and shot one of them down.
Back at the U-wing, Bodhi and K-2SO were transporting equipment as the TIE fighters fired upon and chased the X-wings of Blue Squadron.
"Fall back! Fall back!" A guard on the landing platform ordered as Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus were lying on the ground as both Mandalorian Jedi Knights had their lightsabers' blades deactivated, "Director we need to evacuate." Two Death Troopers then helped Krennic to his feet as he groaned as they began to take him to safety, while the turbolaser continued to fire upon the X-wings, shooting another one down as two TIE fighters began to chase an X-wing that was flying across the planet's mountainous terrain with one of them firing upon the X-wing, only for one of the TIE fighters to crash into one of the planet's mountainous formations.
Chirrut exhaled and smelled his breath before he grabbed his bowcaster and fired a bolt at a TIE fighter that was chasing two X-wings, causing it to catch on fire as it spiraled out of control towards one of the turbolaser around the research facility, destroying the turbolaser and killing the Imperial weapons technician that was operating it as the remaining X-wing of Blue Squadron left Eadu as they began to head back to Yavin 4.
The Death Troopers spoke in their garbled voices as they and Krennic and Krennic began to board the Imperial shuttle before Krennic looked towards Jyn and Galen before turning away as he boarded his Imperial shuttle.
"Jyn, go comfort your father," Satele urged Jyn as she, Sabine and Janus slowly stood up as Krennic's Imperial shuttle took off as Jyn slowly began crawling over to her father before the Imperial shuttle's thrusters knocked them to the floor, sending Jyn back towards a hole in the landing pad that was created when the X-wing fired a proton bomb at the landing pad.
As Jyn climbed back up from the hole in the landing pad, Krennic's Imperial shuttle had flipped its wings back down as Jyn stood up and ran towards her father.
"Papa. Papa, it's me," Jyn told her father as she reached him and went to comfort him, "It's Jyn."
"Jyn?" Galen said with surprise, disbelief and happiness in his voice, "Stardust."
"Papa. Me and Commander Satele Wren of the Rebellion have seen your message," Jyn told her father, "The hologram, we've seen it."
"It must be destroyed," Galen stated.
"I know. I know," Jyn assured her father, "We will."
"Jyn," Galen muttered as he looked at his daughter's face and touched her hair with his left hand, "Look at you. I have so much to tell you." He then groaned slowly as his limbs fell limp as he passed away.
"Papa," Jyn said as she looked at her father with disbelief in her voice, "No. No! Papa." She then began trying to wake him up, "Papa, come on!"
"Over there! Take 'em down," a stormtrooper behind Jyn ordered as he and another stormtrooper noticed Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus before Cassian, who appeared in the distance, fired his blaster at them.
"Come on, Papa. Come on," Jyn said as she continued to try and wake her deceased father back up.
"Wait till Senator Mothma hears about this!" Satele said with anger in her voice.
"Haar'chak, General Draven!" Sabine yelled in Mando'a with anger in her voice as well.
"Agreed, Sabine. Draven's to blame for all this for ordering that attack!" Janus said with anger as he recalled the X-wing assault that just killed Jyn's father.
"Jyn, we gotta go," Cassian told Jyn as he rushed over to her, "Come on."
"I can't leave him," Jyn protested.
"Listen to me, he's gone," Cassian told him, "Nothing you can do. Come on."
"I can't leave him!" Jyn said, repeating herself.
"Come on!" Cassian urged her again.
"I can't," Jyn protested.
"Move!" Cassian ordered Jyn as he pulled her away from her deceased father.
"This way, this way!" A stormtrooper ordered a squad of their fellow stormtroopers as Cassian and Jyn hid behind some containers as Satele and Sabine ignited their lightsabers and slashed their sabers against a few stormtroopers, while Baze, who was still on the cliff with Chirrut fired his MWC-35c at the remaining stormtroopers, killing them instantly as Cassian and Jyn got out of hiding and began to leave the landing pad and research facility with Satele, Sabine and Janus following them after Cassian fired his blaster at two stormtroopers, "Come on! Come on!"
Chirrut and Baze began to leave the cliff as they watched as Cassian, Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus began leaving the landing pad and research facility.
Cassian, Jyn, Satele, Sabine and Janus were running across the planet's surface with a couple of stormtroopers chasing them when they saw a Zelta-class Heavy Cargo Shuttle appear before them and fired its laser cannons at the stormtroopers, killing them instantly.
"Well done," K-2SO complimented Bodhi as they piloted and co-piloted the Imperial shuttle, "You're a rebel now." Bodhi then got off from the co-pilot's seat as K-2SO watched as Cassian, Jyn, Satele, Sabine, Janus, Chirrut and Baze ran towards the Imperial shuttle.
"Come on, let's move!" Bodhi urged Cassian, Jyn, the three Mandalorians, Chirrut and Baze as the Imperial shuttle landed in front of them as the ship's ramp lowered as everyone began boarding the Imperial shuttle, "Come on, let's get out of here! Move, move, move!" Everyone then finished boarding the Imperial shuttle with Chirrut boarding the ship last, "Okay, K-2. Let's go!"
"Copy that," K-2SO replied from the pilot's seat of the Imperial shuttle as the shuttle's ramp rose upwards before the ship began to leave the planet as the research facility exploded.
"Ion thrusters low until we've cleared the storm," Bodhi said as Cassian placed his rifle on the troop bay's wall before he removed his gloves.
"Understood," they heard K-2SO reply from the cockpit as Satele, Sabine and Janus remove their helmets and place them under their arms before Chirrut grabbed Jyn's hand as she turned around to face Cassian.
"You lied to me," Jyn told Cassian as she walked over to him.
"Jyn's right," Satele said, agreeing with Jyn as she, Sabine and Janus followed her, "You told us you were going to rescue Galen, not assassinate him."
"And by General Draven's orders no less," Sabine added.
"What would compel you to follow his orders to assassinate Gelen Erso?" Janus asked Cassian.
"The three of you are in shock," Cassian told them as he removed his coat.
"Like Satele said, you went up there to kill my father," Jyn said, agreeing with Satele.
"You and Satele both don't know what you're talking about," Cassian told them.
"Deny it," Jyn stated.
"You're all in shock and looking for some place to put it," Cassian told them, "I've seen it before."
"I bet you have," Jyn muttered, "They know and Satele and Sabine sensed it with the Force. You lied about why we came here and you lied about why you went up alone."
"I had every chance to pull the trigger, but did I?" Cassian asked her as he looked at her and sighed, "Did I?"
"You might as well have," Jyn told him, "My father was living proof. Those were Alliance bombs that killed him."
"As Sabine said, I had orders, orders that I disobeyed," Cassian explained, "But you wouldn't understand that."
"Orders?" Jyn repeated with disbelief, "When you know they're wrong? You might as well be a stormtrooper."
"Or even an Imperial super commando," Satele muttered as she, Sabine, Janus and Jyn walked away from him.
"We don't all have the luxury of deciding when and where we want to care about something," Cassian told them, "Suddenly the Rebellion is real for you, Jyn. Some of us live it. I've been in this fight since I was six years old. You're not the only one who lost everything."
"Like me," Janus stated, "I lost both of my parents as well as my brother and sister when I was 15 to Governor Gar Saxon of Mandalore so that I would comply with the Imperial occupation of Mandalore."
"See?" Cassian told Jyn, "Some of us just decided to do something about it."
"You can't talk your way around this," Jyn stated.
"I don't have to," Cassian told Jyn as he left her and the three Mandalorians as he walked towards Bodhi at the ship's navigational and communications system, "Yavin 4. Make sure they know we're coming in with a stolen ship." He then turned to Chirrut and Baze, "Anybody else?" He then climbed up the ladder in the troop bay to the cockpit.
