A while later, inside of the garage of the Lars homestead, K-3PO was climbing into a bathtub filled with oil and had a restraining bolt removed from his chest, while R5-D2 was standing near Luke, who was sitting down on a chair as he was playing with a model of a T-16 skyhopper.
"Hey, Luke," Cade said, greeting his nephew as he entered the garage with R2, "Owen says that we should get to know each other."
"Okay, say what do you do, Uncle Cade?" Luke asked his uncle as he set his model of the T-16 down and looked at him.
"I'm a part of the rebellion," Cade answered.
"You're kidding, right?" Luke asked his uncle with a chuckle.
"No, I'm actually a member of the Rebel Alliance," Cade told him as he smiled sheepishly.
"How long have you been part of the Rebellion?" Luke asked him.
"I've been a member of the Rebel Alliance for at least 8 months since the Lothal sector was freed," Cade answered, "So what do you do around here?"
"I just help Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru around here," Luke answered.
"Wow, you have a lot of work to do for them," Cade muttered with surprise in his voice before R2 projected a hologram of Leia from his holoprojector.
"Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope," the hologram of Leia said from R2's holoprojector.
"What's this?" Luke asked Cade and R2 with surprise.
"That is part of why we're here on Tatooine," Cade answered as R2 beeped a response before the hologram of Leia began repeating itself as R2 beeped again.
"Who is she?" Luke asked them, "She's beautiful."
"Luke, that's Princess Leia of Alderaan and she's your twin sister," Cade answered.
"I have a twin sister?" Luke muttered with shock and surprise in his voice, "How do you know this?"
"I learned this from Senator Bail Organa when he told me of your existence," Cade answered.
"I can't believe I have a sister," Luke muttered with happiness in his voice, "But is there any more of this recording?"
"There is, Luke," Cade answered as R2 beeped a response, "But R2, here will only play it in front of Obi-Wan Kenobi as it's a private message for him."
"Obi-Wan Kenobi," Luke muttered to himself, "I wonder if he means old Ben Kenobi."
"He does," Cade told him, "My Jedi master from when I was a Padawan was named Obi-Wan Kenobi who was once called 'Ben' by someone called Satine Kryze of Mandalore when he was younger."
"Ben's real name is Obi-Wan," Luke said with surprise, "I thought he was always called Ben, but from what Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru say, he lives out near the Dune Sea."
"You thought he was an old hermit," Cade told his nephew, "Didn't you, Luke?"
"Yeah, I just thought he was an old hermit," Luke answered.
"So, do you know anything about your mother?" Cade asked him.
"Just a bit," Luke answered, "I know that she was the senator of Naboo and that she met Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru a few years before I was born."
"Well then, what you didn't know was that she was a queen of Naboo as well," Cade told his nephew.
"So are you telling me that I'm descended from royalty?" Luke asked him.
"Not exactly," Cade told him, "The monarchy of Naboo is similar to political positions within the Empire and the Republic as it is an elective monarchy rather than the one that planets such as Alderaan have."
"How did you meet my mother?" Luke asked him.
"I met her shortly before the Clone Wars began," Cade answered.
"Luke! Cade!" They suddenly heard Beru call their names.
"We'll be right there, Aunt Beru," Luke told his aunt.
"Luke's right, Beru, we're coming," Cade said, agreeing with his nephew as they exited the garage and began heading towards the homestead's kitchen.
In the kitchen of the Lars homestead, Beru was pouring blue milk into two cups across from her, while Owen was eating with a spoon from a bowl as he sat at one end of the table as Cade, Luke and R2 entered the room and approached the seats on the other side of the table next to Owen as Beru sat down on a seat across from her husband.
"So Cade, what have you been doing since you joined the Jedi Order?" Owen asked his brother as Cade and Luke sat down on the seats next to him with Cade sitting down in the seat next to Luke.
"As you know a lot of events happened during the Clone Wars," Cade told them, "Some tragic and some not. A lot of tragedies happened during the war, like the Separatists wanting to bring the Zygerrian Slave Empire back, people betraying their own people for greed and some Jedi generals betraying their clones and killing them."
"Is this going anywhere?" Beru asked the former Jedi.
"It is, Beru," Cade assured her, "Have any of you ever heard of the former Jedi Padawan, Ahsoka Tano before?"
"Wasn't she the Padawan who was placed in a tribunal after she was framed for blowing up the Jedi temple on Coruscant during the Clone Wars?" Beru asked her brother-in-law.
"She was," Cade answered, "But what her former friend said made me question the Order and soon I left the Jedi Order and volunteered to become a super soldier within the GAR."
"So you became a soldier within the Grand Army of the Republic after you left the Jedi Order?" Luke asked him.
"Indeed, Luke," Cade confirmed with a smile on his face.
"So, Cade, what happened after you became a soldier within the GAR?" Owen asked his brother.
"I went on a few missions with Anakin and my former Jedi master, Obi-Wan before something happened to me," Cade answered.
"What happened to you?" Beru asked her brother-in-law.
"A few weeks before the Emperor proclaimed the Republic as an Empire, I was sent to Coruscant's Industrial District where I encountered the Duros bounty hunter, Cad Bane," Cade answered, "Me and him fought throughout the district with him using his gauntlets on me while I used my lightsaber on him, only for him to overpower me and captured me. He then took me to the then Chancellor and now Emperor Palpatine who then froze me in carbonite after he handed Bane his credits."
"I can't believe you were frozen in carbonite," Luke muttered with shock in his voice as Owen and Beru looked at him with shock as well, "Well, how did you get free from your carbonite prison?"
"I'll get there soon, Luke," Cade told him, "But have any of you ever heard of Lothal?"
"Wasn't that the planet that freed itself from the Empire about eight months ago?" Owen asked him.
"It was, Owen," Cade answered with a smile on his face, "And I was there."
"What were you doing there?" Luke asked him.
"Well, let's just say that my carbonite prison was placed within the art collection of an Imperial officer's office inside of the Imperial Complex on Lothal before it was destroyed when the planet was freed," Cade answered.
"Which Imperial officer's office was your carbonite prison placed inside of?" Owen asked his brother.
"The office of Grand Admiral Thrawn," Cade answered.
"Who's he?" Luke asked him.
"He is or was a Chiss Grand Admiral in the Imperial Navy," Cade answered, "We don't know if he's still alive or perished when Lothal was freed."
"You said that you were going to explain how you were freed from your carbonite prison," Beru recalled.
"Yeah, I do," Cade said, agreeing with her, "Have any of you ever heard of the Bad Batch?"
"Yeah," Beru answered.
"Just rumors really," Owen added, causing Cade to look at them with a surprised look on his face, "Why do you ask?"
"Because they have something to do with freeing me from my carbonite prison," Cade explained, "One of them, Echo, who was a friend of mine before I left the Jedi Order freed me from my carbonite prison after the previous rebel spy also known as a Fulcrum agent, Colonel Yularen, discovered that Thrawn had my carbonite prison in his art collection."
"What happened after he freed you?" Luke asked him.
"He explained everything that's happened in the last nineteen years," Cade answered, "The rise of the Empire, destruction of the Jedi Order and so much more. And as we left the art collection room, we battled our way to the Imperial Complex's command center, where a few rebels and former Governor Pryce of Lothal were."
"Who were the rebels?" Beru asked the former Jedi.
"They were General Hera Syndulla, Tech, the Bad Batch's computer and weapons specialist, Chopper, Hera's astromech and Governor Ryder Azadi of Lothal," Cade answered, "Soon after we entered the room, we saw Purrgil arriving and damaging the fleet over Lothal and at that moment I knew that there was a Jedi there."
"And who was the Jedi?" Owen asked him.
"It wasn't just one Jedi, Owen, it was two," Cade told him, "They were both twin sisters and Mandalorians named Satele and Sabine Wren."
"I didn't know Mandalorians could be Jedi," Owen said with shock in his voice.
"There has been one that all Jedi are supposed to learn about when they're children," Cade stated, "His name was Tarre Vizsla, the founder of Clan and House Vizsla."
"Was he related to them?" Beru asked him.
"From what they've told me, he was," Cade answered, "He was their distant ancestor along with a few more Jedi from history, namely Revan, Bastila and Satele Shan."
"Were there any more rebels there?" Luke asked him.
"There were, Luke," Cade answered, "There were a group of clones besides members of the Bad Batch there, which included Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair and Omega, the other clones were Captain and now Commander Rex, Cody, Wolffe, Gregor, Jesse and Appo along with Satele's boyfriend, a fellow Mandalorian named Janus Wren, a former ISB Agent known as Kallus, a former Imperial lieutenant named Lyste, two pirates, one of them being a weequay named Hondo and the other being an Ugnaught named Melch, a Lasat named Zeb and a Mandalorian bounty hunter known as Ketsu Onyo, a friend of Sabine's."
"Weren't they tasked to bring the shield generator back online after it was powered down from inside the Imperial Complex's power generator room?" Beru asked her brother-in-law.
"They were, Beru," Cade answered.
"Didn't one of them die trying to get the shield generator back online?" Owen asked him.
"Yeah, Commander Gregor sacrificed himself so they could succeed in defeating Thrawn and liberating Lothal from the Empire," Cade confirmed with his voice filled with sadness.
"Did you know him?" Luke asked him.
"Yeah, I did, Luke, he was a member of the 212th Attack Battalion, the same Clone Battalion that me and Obi-Wan were assigned to," Cade answered.
"I'm sure he did it so you guys could free Lothal," Beru told him.
"Thanks for your condolences, Beru," Cade said with a smile as he looked at his sister-in-law, "But before he passed on, his fellow clones gave him their condolences."
"So, where were these two Mandalorian Jedi you're talking about during all this, Cade?" Owen asked him.
"They were on Thrawn's Star destroyer, the Chimaera when all that was happening," Cade answered, "He wanted them there on the orders of the Emperor so they could choose between our reality, where they were born Force-Sensitive and one where they weren't Force Sensitive, only for them to resist temptation before he ordered them to be killed by his royal guards."
"How did they escape?" Beru asked him.
"They were saved by an Inquisitor who defected from the Empire called the Thirteenth Brother also known as Starkiller, but was born as Galen Marek," Cade answered, "He defected after he saw former Governor Pryce destroy an ore crawler that the rebels on Lothal stole and helped them escape from the Star Destroyer before he sacrificed himself so Thrawn couldn't escape as the Chimaera was pulled into Hyperspace by the Purrgil and soon afterwards, I joined the Bad Batch along with Galen's Purge Troopers."
"Do you know if he survived or not?" Owen asked his brother.
"No, I don't know if he survived being pulled into Hyperspace by the Purrgil with Thrawn," Cade answered, "But if he did, I would thank him for helping us free Lothal."
"I really would like to meet these Mandalorians one day, 'cause I'm interested in Mandalorian culture," Luke muttered, causing Cade to stare at him with shock.
"I'll be glad to introduce you to them one day, Luke," Cade told his nephew.
"Sorry, Cade, but that's a bad idea," Owen stated as he looked at his brother.
"Why not?!" Cade asked him with anger in his voice.
"So the Empire doesn't find out about his existence," Owen answered.
"You do realize that the Empire will eventually find out about his existence, don't you?" Cade reported.
"It's worked well for the last nineteen years," Owen stated.
"We don't know if it will work that much longer," Cade told him.
"Oh, and why won't it?" Owen asked him.
"Because of the Empire's brutality and that the Emperor might dissolve the Imperial Senate any day now!" Cade explained.
"Enough of this, you two!" Beru yelled at both her husband and her brother-in-law, "I have a compromise for the both of you that could allow Luke meet these three Mandalorians."
"And what is it?" Owen asked her.
"That Luke can meet them in case we die from the Empire's brutality," Beru answered.
"Okay, in the event if me and Beru die from the Empire's brutality, Luke could meet them," Owen relented as he looked at his brother.
"Thank you, Owen," Cade told him with a smile on his face.
"So, if and when that happens could I join the Rebellion?" Luke asked Owen.
"You may," Owen answered before looking at his brother, "So, what are you doing on Tatooine of all places, Cade?"
"I'm here on a mission for the Rebellion to find my former Jedi master, Obi-Wan Kenobi," Cade answered, "Senator Organa says that he's here, somewhere on this planet on a special mission. So where is he?"
"I can't tell you where he is," Owen told him.
"He is vital to defeating the Empire and restoring the Republic," Cade stated, "So you really should tell me."
"Fine, only because I hate the Empire and they might get rid of moisture farming if they took over Tatooine," Owen sighed, "He lives out past the Dune Sea, Cade."
"Anyway, me, R2 and C-3PO will be staying the night before we begin our search for Obi-Wan as it's almost night," Cade told them as he began to eat his food with Luke doing the same as he also drank some blue milk from the cup next to his plate.
"We don't mind if you stay the night, Cade," Owen assured his brother as he, Luke and Beru smiled at him.
About an hour later, after Luke and Cade finished eating their food, they placed them in the sink of the Lars homestead's kitchen before exiting the homestead as they walked up the stairs to the outside, they saw that it was getting dark and that both of Tatooine's suns were beginning to set.
"It's been a long time since I watched Tatooine's binary sunset," Cade muttered to himself as he and Luke began walking towards the cliff of the Lars homestead with Luke looking at Tatooine's suns, while Cade looked towards the Lothal system.
"When was the last time you looked at Tatooine's sunsets?" Luke asked his uncle.
"The night before I left Tatooine and when the Clone Wars began," Cade answered.
A while later, Luke and Cade reentered the garage of the Lars homestead before Luke picked up a device and activated it, causing it to beep before C-3PO appeared behind them and exclaimed.
"What are you doing back there?" Luke asked the protocol droid.
"Yeah, what are you doing back there, 3PO?" Cade said, agreeing with his nephew.
"It wasn't my fault," C-3PO told them, "Please don't deactivate me, Master Cade."
"I won't deactivate you, 3PO," Cade assured the protocol droid, "Just tell us what happened."
"I told him not to go, but he's faulty, malfunctioning," C-3PO answered, "Kept babbling on about our mission."
"You mean he went to search for Master Kenobi out past the Dune Sea?" Cade asked him with surprise in his voice.
"I think so," C-3PO answered.
"Well, it looks like we'll have to search for him tomorrow," Cade stated, "Considering it's too late and dark to search for him right now." He then began to leave the room, "Goodnight, Luke."
"Goodnight, Uncle," Luke replied as he left the room as well as he began to head towards his bedroom.
Meanwhile on Lothal, both the Ghost and Brental Star flew towards landing pads within Capital City along with Mart's X-wing, which had detached from the Ghost's docking port with Mart piloting it and began to descend and land on the landing pads as Ryder, who was now wearing a Lothalite political governor's uniform as he began to approach all three ships with a smile on his face as Mart flipped open the window of his X-wing's cockpit and exited his starfighter as Hera, Zeb, Chopper, Kallus, Lyste and Raddus walked down the Ghost's ramp, while Satele, Sabine and Janus walked down the ramp of the Brental Star as they went to greet the Lothalite governor.
"General Syndulla, Commander Wren," Ryder said, greeting both the Twi'lek and Satele before turning to the rest of their crew along with Kallus, Lyste, Mart and Raddus, "Nice to see you and your crew again along with Kallus, Lyste and Mart." Chopper then grunted a protest, causing Ryder to chuckle, "Yeah, you too, Chop." He then began to approach the Mon Calamari and held his hand out towards him, "And nice to finally meet you at last, Admiral Raddus."
"You too, Governor Azadi," Raddus replied as they shook each other's hands.
"Nice to see you as well, Governor," Satele told the Lothalite governor with a smile on her face.
"I agree, it is nice to see you again, Ryder," Sabine said, agreeing with her twin sister.
"As do I," Janus stated, agreeing with both his girlfriend and her sister, "It's nice to see you again, Governor Azadi."
"You're probably wondering why we're here, Governor," Kallus told the Lothalite governor.
"I am, Captain Kallus," Ryder replied, "Why did you guys return to Lothal with Admiral Raddus?"
"We need a place to lay low for a few days," Zeb answered.
"May I ask why?" Ryder asked them.
"Because we just returned from a battle over Scarif for the plans of a super weapon that the Empire constructed with the ability to destroy entire planets," Hera answered, "A couple rebels on the surface of the planet transmitted them to the rebel fleet and are now being sent to Senator Organa on Alderaan."
"Would you mind if we stay here for a few days, Governor?" Satele asked Ryder.
"I don't mind if you guys stayed on Lothal for a few days," Ryder answered.
"Let me just say how glad I am that Lothal is now free from the Empire like my home world of Garel is," Lyste stated with a smile.
"Yeah, all of the Lothal Sector is now freed from Imperial control," Ryder said, agreeing with Lyste.
"General Syndulla, I see how far along your pregnancy is," Ryder told Hera.
"Yeah, I could give birth anytime within the next few days, Governor," Hera stated.
"Anyway, I can't help but notice how much Lothal has progressed within the last eight months since we freed the planet from the Empire," Satele said as she noticed how much better the planet's architecture was and there were speeders flying above them in the sky.
"That's not all that's changed with Lothal since the planet was freed," Ryder told them with a smile on his face, "Come on, I'll show you guys around."
A while later, Ryder was showing the Ghost crew, Kallus, Lyste, Mart and Raddus how much the architecture of Lothal had changed since the Liberation of Lothal and saw that they've been repaired from when Thrawn ordered his Star Destroyer, the Chimaera to fire upon the city and that they've progressed from being impoverished when the planet was under Imperial occupation to being slightly improved.
"Here's how the buildings of Capital City have changed since Lothal was freed from the Empire and me becoming the governor of Lothal again," Ryder stated as he gestured to the buildings around them.
"The buildings sure do look better than they did when the planet was under Imperial occupation," Hera muttered as she looked at the buildings.
"Yeah, they sure do look better than before," Zeb said, agreeing with the Twi'lek.
"I agree," Sabine told them, "I've never seen the buildings of Capital City as they are now."
"They used to be almost as good as they are now," Satele stated as she looked at the buildings with a smile on her face.
"When was that Teal'ika?" Janus asked his girlfriend.
"Back when we were children," Satele answered, "They looked almost as good as this when Father left me here on Lothal with Mira and Ephraim."
"What caused the buildings to become impoverished?" Raddus asked her.
"I can answer that," Kallus told him, "Once Pryce usurped Ryder here as governor of Lothal with the approval of Governor Tarkin after she gave him valuable intel about his political rival, Moff Ghadi, a former Senator of Lothal, which she undermined his career by giving Tarkin files from him, she made quick changes with one of them being to focus all efforts on the Imperial Navy and the Empire, rather than to the people."
"I really didn't like that policy of hers," Lyste muttered, "I even started to slowly disagree with her on a lot of things once Thrawn's fleet joined the late Admiral Konstantine's fleet over Lothal."
"Did you mention that to her?" Satele asked him.
"Oh, I didn't want to risk losing my job, so I kept it to myself," Lyste answered.
"Well, I'm glad that Lothal is slowly becoming what it was before the Empire arrived, Governor," Mart told Ryder with a smile.
They then began to approach a memorial nearby with two statues on it, one of them being a clone wearing Clone Commando armor with a backpack over their back and a Clone Commando's helmet over their head with tally marks all over the helmet, wielding a DC-17m Repeating Blaster Rifle and aiming it in the air with the statue being mostly colored gray digital camouflage, yellow markings with both the tally marks and his blaster rifle being black and they knew that it was Gregor from the Clone Wars, while the statue next to Gregor from the Clone wars was another statue of Gregor from when Lothal was freed and before he passed away, wearing a tank top, bracers and boots with a smile on his face and the statue being colored tan, gray, white, brown yellow and black and on a plaque underneath the statues had the name 'CC-5576-39 also known as Commander Gregor' written on it along with the numbers 3245-3277 LY and below the years of how long Gregor lived were the words, 'Honored Veteran, friend and Rebel' written on it with Wolffe standing in front of the memorial with his helmet under his arm.
"You were a true friend and rebel, brother," Wolffe muttered as he stared at the memorial of Gregor.
"Wolffe, nice to see you again," Satele said, greeting the Clone Commander causing him to turn around and looked at her, the rest of the Ghost crew and the others, "What are you doing here and not training the people of Lothal to fight back against the Empire in case they try to take Lothal over again?"
"Oh, I'm on break and wanted to look at the statue of Gregor to remember my brother," Wolffe answered, "But what are you guys doing back here on Lothal?"
"We came to stay here on Lothal for a few days following a battle that we just had over Scarif for the plans of a super weapon that the Empire constructed with the ability to destroy entire planets," Hera explained, "Which are now being sent to Senator Organa on Alderaan after a couple of rebels of the surface of the planet transmitted them to the rebel fleet."
"Why was this memorial constructed?" Janus asked the clone as he stared at the memorial of Gregor.
"It was constructed to honor Gregor similarly to what the First Battle Memorial on Coruscant was for Clones who died in the first battle of the Clone Wars and I personally requested this to be built," Wolffe explained when Hera suddenly widened her eyes with shock as water began to spill from between her legs, causing her to groan in pain.
"Hera?" Satele and Sabine called out to the Twi'lek as along with everyone else looked at her with shock, while Sabine looked at her with worry as well before she collapsed onto the ground with Chopper grunting as he rolled over to her.
"Hera, what's wrong?" Janus asked Hera as he, Satele and Sabine approached her.
"Yeah, what is it, Hera?" Zeb said, agreeing with Janus as he approached her as well.
"General Syndulla?!" Ryder called out to Hera with shock in his voice as well, "What's happening?"
"What do you guys think?!" Hera retorted with her voice filled with pain, "I'm going into labor!"
"Ryder, get her an ambulance!" Satele requested the governor of Lothal.
"Yes, Commander," Ryder said, nodding his head as he walked away from them and pulled out a comlink as he went to contact an ambulance, "This is Governor Azadi, I request an ambulance immediately."
"It's okay, Hera, you'll be alright," Satele assured the Twi'lek.
"Yeah, she's right, you'll be okay," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.
"And Ryder's having an ambulance sent to pick you up to take you to a hospital," Janus added when a white and red colored ambulance arrived before a man with copper skin, brown eyes and black hair, wearing the uniform of a Lothalite hospital personnel.
"Thanks, Commander Wren for having Governor Azadi contacting us about General Syndulla going into labor," the Lothalite paramedic told Satele as he approached her, Sabine, Janus and Hera.
"Can we all go with you guys?" Satele asked him, "She's a very close friend to most of us."
"Certainly," the Lothalite paramedic answered as another male paramedic exited the ambulance, who had copper skin, brown eyes and hair as he walked over to the back of the ambulance and took out a hover-strecher as he walked over to them as both paramedics picked up Hera and helped her onto the hover-strecher.
"Kallus, head back to the Ghost to set up communications with Yavin in case something terrible happens within the next few days," Satele ordered the former ISB/Fulcrum agent.
"Yes, Commander," Kallus replied as he began walking away from them as he began to head back to the landing pad where the Ghost was docked with the Brental Star and Mart's X-wing.
"I'm going with him," Lyste announced as he began to follow Kallus.
"Be sure to contact us once you get it operational!" Sabine called out to the former Imperial lieutenant.
"Don't worry, Captain Wren, we will," Lyste assured the Mandalorian Jedi Knight as the paramedics loaded Hera into the back of the ambulance before one of them pulled out a syringe filled with anesthesia.
"Don't worry, General Syndulla, this will ease your pain," the paramedic with black hair assured the Twi'lek as he rolled the right arm of her undersuit's sleeve up, "You may experience some pain at first, but it will wear off within a couple of minutes." He then grabbed a piece of cloth nearby and poured some alcohol on it before rubbing it over her elbow and injected the syringe into her arm, causing her to grunt in pain for a few seconds before smiling as the pain slowly began to go away.
"Everyone into the back of the ambulance," Satele ordered her sister, boyfriend, Zeb, Chopper and Raddus as the paramedics exited the back of the ambulance and began heading towards the front of the ambulance and entered the pilot and co-pilot's seat.
"I'll meet you guys at the hospital," Ryder told them as Sabine, Janus, Zeb, Chopper and Raddus entered the back of the ambulance as Hera fell asleep from the effects of the anesthesia, "I'll take my speeder."
"Yeah, see you there, Governor," Satele replied as Ryder walked away from them and the ambulance.
"Satele," Wolffe said as he walked up to her.
"What is it, Commander?" Satele asked him.
"What I wanted to say is good luck with General Syndulla," Wolffe told her.
"Yeah, we'll try our best with her giving birth," Satele replied.
"And goodbye Commander Wren," Wolffe told her before chucking, "Well, that was a bit awkward, when we last saw each other, I was a commander and you were just a lieutenant commander, and now we're both commanders."
"Yeah it is," Satele said, chucking a bit with the clone, "And goodbye as well, Commander Wolffe." She then entered the ambulance and sat in between her sister and boyfriend as she closed the ambulance's back doors with Wolffe walking away as the ambulance began to fly away with its sirens going on as it began to head towards one of Capital City's hospitals.
Meanwhile back on Tatooine, it was now day as Luke, Cade and C-3PO were riding in a landspeeder with Luke piloting the speeder and Cade sitting in the seat next to him as C-3PO sat in the back of the landspeeder as it traveled across the Dune sea.
"There's a droid on the scanner," Luke told them, "Dead ahead."
"Yep, real close," Cade said, agreeing with his nephew, "I think that's R2 on the scanner."
"You might be right, Uncle," Luke muttered, agreeing with him, "I better hit the accelerator."
The landspeeder soon began to enter a canyon as a Tusken Raider, who was standing on top of the canyon, aiming their slugthrower, a cycler rifle at the landspeeder before another Tusken Raider approached him and grunted in their native language before they also grunted in their native language and began to walk away from the edge of the top of the canyon as they began running towards a Bantha, a large, quadrupedal mammal with long, thick brown fur along with furry tails and a pair of spiraling horns extruded from their skulls and hopped onto its back before other Tuskens began to do the same with other Banthas nearby as they began to take off.
"Hey, whoa!" Luke said as he, Cade and C-3PO exited the landspeeder as it stopped in the middle of the canyon and approached R2, who was standing nearby, "Just where do you think you're going?" R2 then beeped a response, causing everyone to stare at him with disbelief.
"R2, we were going to look for him," Cade told the astromech droid as he crossed his arms, "We were just going to stay the night at Owen's."
"Master Cade is right, we were going to spend the night at Master Owen's place for the night, R2," C-3PO said, agreeing with Cade before R2 began beeping in a distressed tone.
"What's wrong with him now?" Luke asked Cade and C-3PO.
"There are several creatures approaching from the southeast," C-3PO translated for Luke as they began looking around.
"Sandpeople," Luke realized as he began heading back to the landspeeder and grabbed a 6-2Aug2 hunting rifle from the side of the landspeeder, "Or worse."
"Yeah, those gotta be Tuskens," Cade muttered as he sensed the Tuskens and grabbed his lightsaber from his armor's belt as he followed his nephew.
"Come on. Let's go have a look," Luke told C-3PO and R2 as he gestured for them to follow him and Cade, "Come on."
A while later, Luke, Cade, C-3PO and R2 were deeper within the canyon with Luke laying on his stomach on a boulder as he had a pair of macrobinoculars over his eyes, looking at a pair of Banthas nearby as his hunting rifle was standing in front of a boulder behind him with Cade, C-3PO and R2 standing behind him.
"Well, there are two Banthas down there, but I don't see any…" Luke began to say before he saw something approach the Banthas, "Wait a second. They're Sandpeople, all right. I can see one of them now."
"Luke, watch out!" Cade warned his nephew as he saw a Tusken Raider appear in front of Luke, grunting and aiming its gaddafi stick in the air with both of its hands in a chanting-like manner, causing C-3PO to fall backwards on his back before it went to attack Luke, only for Cade to rush in and ignite his lightsaber's blue blade and clashed it against the Tusken Raider's gaderffii stick, cutting the Gaderffi stick before Cade used the Force to push the Tusken away from them, "Luke find some cover, I'll handle them."
Luke nodded a response as he went to find some cover away from the Tuskens as they began to fire their slugthrowers at him, only for the bullets to partly melt as they collided with the plasma of the blade of Cade's lightsaber when one of the Tuskens snuck up on Luke and knocked him backwards with its gaderffii stick, causing Luke to fall on his back and began struggling to get away.
"Uncle Cade, help!" Luke called out to his uncle as the Tusken stood over Luke and held its gaderffii stick high in the air as it began to chant as R2 hid in a small cave nearby and began beeping in a worried tone as Cade continued to deflect the Tuskens' bullets with them melting as they collided with his lightsaber's blade when they all suddenly heard the sound of a Krayt Dragon's scream as a man wearing a robe over his head slowly appeared from the distance, waving his hands around, causing the Tuskens to grunt as they began to retreat, leaving Cade confused as he deactivated his lightsaber and clipped it back onto his armor's belt.
Cade looked around for the Krayt Dragon scream as the man slowly began to approach them and stopped at Luke, causing him to stare at him with confusion as he helped him up as both R2 and Cade stared at the man with confusion.
"Hello there," the man said, greeting R2 as he turned towards the astromech, who was beeping as he lowered his hood to reveal that he was Obi-Wan as R2 continued to beep before he gestured him to come towards him, "Come here, my little friend. Don't be afraid."
"Master Kenobi?" Cade muttered with surprise as he stared at him after a few seconds of not recognizing him.
"Cade Lars-Skywalker," Obi-Wan said with shock and surprise as he looked at him, "I thought you died near the end of the Clone Wars."
"It's a long story, master," Cade stated, "But didn't I tell you that I shortened my name when I became your Padawan?"
"Yes, I guess you did," Obi-Wan muttered, agreeing with his former Padawan before turning to Luke, "Don't worry about Luke. He'll be all right." Luke then began to recover from the sneak attack that the Tusken had on him, "Rest easy, son. You've had a busy day. You and your uncle are both fortunate to be in one piece."
"Ben? Ben Kenobi?" Luke said as he looked at Obi-Wan with surprise in his eyes, "Boy, am I glad to see you. So, are you really Obi-Wan Kenobi?"
"Obi-Wan Kenobi?" Obi-Wan muttered with shock in his voice, "Obi-Wan. Now, that's not a name I've heard in a long time. A long time."
"So, you are Obi-Wan," Luke said with shock in his voice.
"Indeed I am. I haven't gone by the name of Obi-Wan since, oh, before you were born," Obi-Wan confirmed, "But how did you learn that name and that was my real name?"
"It was me, master," Cade answered with regret in his voice as he sat down on a boulder behind him, "My apologies."
"You don't need to apologize for that, Cade," Obi-Wan told his former Padawan, "He would've learned my real name eventually." He then turned back to Luke, "The Jundland Wastes are not to be traveled lightly." R2 then beeped a response as Cade chuckled before Luke and Obi-Wan sat on boulders that were on both sides of him, "Tell me, young Luke, what brings you and Cade out this far?"
"I can answer that, master," Cade said as he looked at Obi-Wan and pointed at the astromech droid before he beeped a response, "It's Anakin's droid, R2. He came all the way out here in the middle of the night, looking for you after Owen told us where you lived when I said that we along with 3PO were going to search for you today." He then smiled at him, "But I'm glad that you found us instead."
"I think we better get indoors," Obi-Wan suggested when they heard growling in the distance as he stood back up from the boulder that he was sitting on top of, "The Sandpeople are easily startled, but they'll soon be back, and in greater numbers."
As Cade and Luke stood back up from the boulders that they were sitting on top of, R2 began beeping, reminding them of 3PO, who was unconscious and had his arm ripped off of his body.
"Luke, let's get 3PO," Cade told his nephew.
"Sure thing, Uncle," Luke replied as they along with Obi-Wan began heading towards 3PO with Luke picking up the Protocol droid's ripped off arm.
"Where am I?" C-3PO asked as Cade, Luke and Obi-Wan stood around the protocol droid, " I must have taken a bad step." R2 then beeped a response as he looked towards his right and saw Obi-Wan, "Master, Kenobi, it's good to see you again!"
"I thought Senator Organa had your mind wiped, 3PO," Obi-Wan said with confusion as he looked at the protocol droid.
"He did, master," Cade confirmed, "But a few months ago, Senator Organa gave me a device with his memories backed up into and restored his memories with it."
"Anyway, can you stand, 3PO?" Luke asked the protocol droid, "We've gotta get out of here before the Sandpeople return."
"I don't think I can make it," 3PO answered, "You and Master Cade go, Master Luke. There's no sense in both of you risking yourselves on my account. I'm done for."
"No, you're not," Luke argued as R2 beeped a response, "What kind of talk is that?"
"Quickly," Obi-Wan told them as he and Luke helped the protocol droid onto his feet, "They're on the move."
