As the Millennium Falcon flew away from the Death Star, Luke sat around the common room's holotable with C-3PO sitting on the other side of the holotable as R2 stood next to him before Leia and Cade approached Luke with Leia placing a blanket over her brother's back before she sat next to him as Cade stood nearby.

"We're coming up on their sentry ships," Han told Chewbacca as he turned around towards him in the pilot's seat of the Millennium Falcon as he stood up, "Hold them off. Angle the deflector shields while I charge up the main guns." Chewbacca then growled a response in Shyriiwook as he clicked buttons above him in the ship's cockpit.

"I can't believe he's gone," Luke muttered as he moved his fingers around the top of the holotable.

"There wasn't anything you could have done," Leia told her brother.

"She's right, Luke," Cade said, agreeing with his niece, "Besides, the Jedi teach that life doesn't cease at death, but merely change form in the Force, Obi-Wan will be inside you for the rest of your life as well as mine and those who have passed on can still help guide the living."

"Thanks, Uncle, I feel a bit better now," Luke told Cade as he smiled at him when Han suddenly ran from the ship's cockpit and stopped at the common room's doorway.

"Come on, buddy. We're not out of this yet," Han said as he looked at Luke.

"Let me guess, there are TIEs coming after us," Cade surmised as he crossed his arms.

"Sure are," Han confirmed, "A squadron worth of them."

"Luke, go with him on taking out the TIE fighters," Cade ordered his nephew, "I'll help you guys by detecting where the TIEs are with the Force. It's a lot easier than just a simple targeting computer."

"I'd appreciate that, Cade," Han said before he walked towards the ladder that leads to the ship's gun turrets and climbed up the ladder before Leia and Luke stood up with Luke removing the blanket over his back as it fell to the floor as Luke followed Han towards the ladder and climbed down the ladder to the Millennium Falcon's lower gun turret as Leia and Cade ran past the gun turrets' ladder as they headed towards the ship's cockpit before Han began to set his gun turret's controls with Luke putting a pair of headsets over his ears as he began to rotate his gun turret around before Han placed his own pair of headsets over his ears, "You in, Kid? Okay, stay sharp. Captain, tell us where they are."

"Will do, Han," Cade replied from the cockpit with the ship's intercom as Luke began setting his gun turret's controls as they heard a beeping sound from the ship's targeting computers.

"Here they come," Leia said from the Millennium Falcon's cockpit as she, Cade and Chewbacca saw four TIE fighters fly past both sides of the ship as she sat on the pilot's seat of the ship with Cade sitting in the seat behind her.

"Luke, move your cannon towards .05," Cade ordered his nephew as he extended his right arm forwards to sense where the TIE fighters were as one of the TIE fighters fired its laser cannons at the top of the ship, causing the power in the common room to go out for a second as the TIE fighter flew past the gun turret of Luke's cannon before Luke fired upon it, destroying it instantly.

"Got him. I got him!" Luke yelled, excitedly.

"Great, kid. Don't get cocky," Han told him as he looked down at him through the ship's gun turret corridor.

"Han's right, Luke, don't get overconfident," Cade said, agreeing with the smuggler, "Han, there's a TIE fighter approaching us from behind at .09."

"I'll get it," Han assured him when one of the three remaining TIE fighters fired its laser cannons at the YT-1300 Corellian light freighter as C-3PO and R2 were walking down one of the ship's corridors, causing the protocol to yell as one of the circuits in the corridor burst open with C-3PO flying back onto the wall behind him.

"We've lost the lateral controls," Leia reported to Han.

"Don't worry. She'll hold together," Han assured the Alderaanian as the circuits in the corridor that C-3PO and R2 were in began to spark with electricity as they began to catch on fire as the smuggler rotated his gun turret's cannon around, "Hear me, baby? Hold together."

R2 then ejected his built-in fire extinguisher from his body and began spraying it on the fire within the circuits.

"Han, the TIE fighter is now flying above you," Cade reported to the smuggler.

"I already saw it and I'm on it, Captain," Han replied as the TIE fighter that Cade was talking about flew past his gun turret's cannon as he fired upon the TIE fighter, destroying it instantly, "Ha ha!"

"There's two more of them out there," Leia told Han and her brother from the ship's cockpit.

"Where are they, Uncle Cade?" Luke asked his uncle with the Millennium Falcon's intercom.

"One of the two remaining TIEs are approaching you, Luke," Cade answered.

"I see him on my scope, Uncle," Luke stated before he fired his gun turret's cannon upon one of the last two TIE fighters as he saw it approaching him, destroying it instantly.

"Han, there's also one approaching you as well," Cade told the smuggler with the ship's intercom.

"On it," Han replied as he saw the last remaining TIE fighter flying nearby before he fired his gun turret's cannons at the TIE fighter, destroying it instantly before he exhaled and removed his headset from his ears as he leaned back in his seat.

"That's it. We did it," Luke said, happily as he removed his headsets from his ears as well.

"We did it," Leia stated as she got up from the pilot's seat of the ship and hugged Chewbacca, who growled a response in Shyriiwook.

"Yeah, we did it, Leia," Cade said, agreeing with his niece before she hugged him as well.

"Help. I think I'm melting," C-3PO pleaded as he was trapped underneath tons of the Millennium Falcon's wires as he and R2 were still inside one of the ship's corridors, "This is all your fault." R2 then beeped a response as the Millennium Falcon continued to fly away from the Death Star.

"Are they away?" Tarkin asked Vader as the Sith Lord approached him in the Death Star's control room.

"They've just made the jump into Hyperspace," Vader answered.

"You're sure the homing beacon is secure aboard their ship?" Tarkin asked the Sith Lord as he looked at him for a second before walking in front of him, "I'm taking an awful risk. This had better work."

"Not a bad bit of rescuing, huh?" Han asked Leia as Chewbacca got up from the co-pilot's seat of the Millennium Falcon as he removed his gloves and sat down in the co-pilot's seat, "You know, sometimes I amaze even myself."

"That doesn't sound too hard," Leia stated, "They let us go. It's the only explanation for the ease of our escape."

"Easy?" Han repeated with disbelief in his voice, "You call that easy?"

"They're tracking us," Leia explained.

"Not this ship, sister," Han argued.

"Leia's right, we are most likely being tracked," Cade said, agreeing with his niece.

"At least the information in R2 is still intact," Leia muttered to herself.

"Yeah, it is," Cade said, agreeing with her.

"What's so important?" Han asked them, "What's he carrying?"

"The technical readouts of that battle station," Leia answered, "I only hope that when the data's analyzed a weakness can be found. It's not over yet."

"Yeah, it's not yet over," Cade stated, agreeing with her.

"It is for me," Han told him as he pointed his index finger at Leia, "Look, I ain't in this for your revolution and I'm not in it for you, Princess. I expect to be well paid. I'm in it for the money."

You needn't worry about your reward. If money is all that you love, then that's what you'll receive when I talk to Mon Mothma and persuade her to have her banker friends including Tay Kolma to give you credits as your reward for rescuing me," Leia assured the smuggler, causing him to smile at her.

"And the Rebellion needs all the people it can get if they want to defeat the Empire," Cade told Han as he looked at him.

"You rebels are not strong enough to take on the Empire," Han stated.

"With the Jedi within the Rebellion including Satele and her sister as well as when Luke joins us, we will be able to defeat the Empire," Cade argued as he began to leave the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.

"Luke, your friend is quite a mercenary," Leia told her brother as he walked past her and Cade as he began to enter the ship's cockpit, "I wonder if he really cares about anything or anyone."

"Yeah, I wonder as well," Cade said, agreeing with his niece.

"I care," Luke told them before he sat down in the pilot's seat of the Millennium Falcon and sighed, "So… What do you think of my sister, huh?"

"I'm trying not to, kid," Han answered as he set the ship's coordinates for Yavin before looking at Leia in the corridor behind them, "Still, she's got a lot of spirit." He then looked back at Luke, "What do you think? You think a princess and a guy like me could get together?"

"Yeah, I think you and Leia could," Luke replied, "You both would be a great couple."

"I really hope you're right, Luke," Han told him.

The Millennium Falcon then neared the Gas Giant known as Yavin and flew past the planet as it began heading towards Yavin 4 before entering the moon's atmosphere as the YT-1300 Corellian light freighter flew towards the Great Temple and landed on one of the rebel base's landing bays before Cade, Luke, Leia, Han and Chewbacca left the ship with Luke now wearing a poncho as they were greeted by a group of rebel fleet troopers standing around a Rebel personnel carrier.

Soon Luke, Cade, Leia and Han were riding on a Rebel personnel carrier with a rebel fleet trooper operating it as it flew around the Great Temple's hangar bay before it stopped as they approached a man with fair skin, dark eyes and gray hair named Vanden Willard along with Yularen, Rex, Cody, Jesse, Appo and Howzer.

"You're safe. When we heard about Alderaan, we feared the worst," Willard said as they all got up from the Rebel personnel carrier as he hugged her.

"We have no time for sorrows, Commander," Leia told him as they walked away from Cade and the others as two rebel fleet troopers unloaded R2 from the Rebel personnel carrier with C-3PO standing next to him, "You must use the information in this R2 unit help plan the attack. It's our only hope."

"Colonel Yularen, Commander Rex, Lieutenant Captain Jesse, Captains Appo, Howzer and General Cody," Cade said, greeting Yularen and the clones as he walked up to them before gesturing to Luke, "Meet my nephew and Anakin's son, Luke Skywalker."

"Nice to meet you, Luke," Rex told Luke as he gave him a small salute.

"Yeah, it's nice to meet you as well," Jesse said as he looked at Luke.

"I also want to say how nice it is to meet you, Luke," Howzer told Luke.

"I agree, it's nice to meet you as well, Luke," Cody said, agreeing with his fellow clones.

Yeah, It's nice to meet you as well," Appo told Luke, "But I'm shocked to learn that General Skywalker had a child."

"I agree as well, Captain, I never knew that General Skywalker did either," Yularen said, agreeing with Appo before shaking Luke's hand, "Anyways, nice to meet you as well, Luke."

"Nice to meet you all as well," Luke told Yularen and the clones.

"Rex, Cody, Appo, Jesse and Howzer, can I speak with you five for a second?" Cade asked the five clones.

"Sure thing," Rex answered before he and his fellow clones followed Cade away from Luke to a location where he wouldn't hear their conversation, "What do you want to talk about, Cade?"

"It's about Luke, Commander," Cade explained, "I don't want any of you to reveal to him that his father is Vader and fell to the dark side." He then sighed as he looked at the clones, "At least not yet."

"I promise you that we won't," Rex assured the former Jedi.

"Yeah, we promise that we won't tell Luke of General Skywalker's fall to the dark side and becoming Darth Vader," Cody said, agreeing with Rex.

"And we'll be sure to tell Echo and the rest of the Bad Batch to keep it a secret when they return to Yavin as well," Jesse added before Appo and Howzer both nodded a response.

"Thank you all for understanding," Cade told the clones before they began to head back towards Luke and Yularen.

"What were you guys talking about?" Luke asked his uncle and the clones as they approached him.

"I'm sorry, Luke, but it's something that you can't know about yet," Cade answered with regret in his voice.

"It's alright, Uncle, I won't bother you about it," Luke told him, causing Cade to smile.

"Luke, I want you to meet a few of the people that I fought alongside with during the Clone Wars and one that I met during the Liberation of Lothal," Cade said, gesturing to Yularen and the Clones, "Go ahead, guys, introduce yourselves."

"I'm Colonel Wullf Yularen, I was your father's admiral during the Clone Wars," Yularen introduced himself to Luke, "Let me tell you, your father was one of the best Jedi generals during the Clone Wars, even though me and him didn't see eye to eye all the time."

"I'm Commander Rex," Rex said, introducing himself to Luke, "I served your father as captain and his second-in-command in the 501st Clone Battalion during the Clone Wars."

"I'm Lieutenant Captain Jesse," Jesse told Luke, "I also served in the 501st as a lieutenant before being promoted to ARC Lieutenant a while before the Battle of Anaxes before serving in Vader's fist as an ARC Commander before I had my inhibitor chip removed eight months ago during the Liberation of Lothal."

"I'm Captain Appo," Appo said, introducing himself to Luke, "I served with your father in the 501st as well as sergeant during the Battle of Umbara before eventually being promoted during the Battle of Coruscant and took part in Order 66 and was part of Vader's fist before I was sent to Lothal eight months ago where I was captured alongside Jesse here and had my inhibitor chip removed before we took part in the Liberation of Lothal."

"I'm Captain Howzer," Howzer introduced himself to Luke, "I never served with your father or uncle during the Clone Wars as after Ryloth was freed from Separatist control, my Clone Battalion, the 450th Clone Attack Battalion was dispatched to the planet as a peacekeeping force for the rest of the war and a few months into the reign of the Empire I defied the Empire being being promptly arrested and escaped the Imperial prisons a few years later and joined the Free Ryloth Movement led by Cham Syndulla before I met Cade during the Liberation of Lothal when Cham's daughter, General Hera Syndulla recruited me and my squad, Rex, Cody and your uncle's squad to free Lothal."

"And I'm General Cody," Cody said, introducing himself to Luke, "I served with Obi-Wan and your uncle in the 212th Attack Battalion as Commander before your uncle left the Jedi Order to become a soldier within the GAR."

As I said before, it's nice to meet you all," Luke told Yularen and the Clones, "I'll love to get to know all of you."

"Cade, what was the special mission that Senator Organ gave you and Princess Leia to Tatooine?" Cody asked the former Jedi.

"Our mission was to find Master Kenobi," Cade answered, surprising everyone, but Luke and Cody.

"But Senator Organa said that he died during Order 66," Rex said with confusion and disbelief in his voice.

"He had to lie in those reports as he was on a secret mission to protect Luke on Tatooine, which I helped him with before Satele came to Tatooine and met me when she went to warn him about Maul, Brother," Cody explained before turning back to Cade, "So, where's General Kenobi, Cade?"

"Dead," Cade answered, causing Yularen, Cody, Rex, Jesse and Appo to look at him with sadness, "He sacrificed himself so me, Luke, Han and Chewie could escape with Leia after we rescued her from the Death Star after the Millennium Falcon was captured by the Empire when we were traveling to Alderaan to get the Death Star plans to Senator Organa on Alderaan before the Empire destroyed the planet with the Death Star."

"Let's head to the briefing room to find a way to destroy the Death Star with the schematics of the Death Star plans," Yularen said as they left the Great Temple's hangar as they began heading towards the briefing room.

A while later in the briefing room, R2 stood in front of a computer system as a rebel plugged a cable into the astromech's body before the rebel clicked a few buttons on the computer system as a diagram of the Death Star slowly appeared on the computer system's monitor.

Meanwhile in space, the Death Star was slowly approaching the Gas Giant of Yavin as it entered the Yavin system as Vader was standing inside the battle station's conference room with Tarkin when suddenly the conference table's communications system suddenly beeped.

"Yes," Tarkin said as he answered the conference table's communications system.

"We're approaching the planet Yavin," a masculine voice reported from the conference table's communications system, "The rebel base is on a moon on the far side. We are preparing to orbit the planet."

Soon in the briefing room back in the Great Temple on Yavin 4, a group of rebel pilots including Wedge Antilles were sitting on seats in front of the computer system with a couple of the rebel pilots standing around the room including Vandar with him standing next to Leia, Cade and a man with fair skin, blue eyes with balding white hair, while a couple of rebel navigational officers were standing on the other side of the room with a rebel fleet trooper as Luke sat next to Wedge with Yularen, Rex, Jesse, Appo, Howzer and Cody sitting behind him as Han and Chewbacca stood near a wall in the back of the room, while Dodonna stood in the front of the room and next to the computer system's monitor.

"The battle station is heavily shielded and carries a firepower greater than half the starfleet," Dodonna stated as he paced around the front of the room with the diagram of the Death Star zooming in on the center of the battle station, "It's defenses are designed around a direct large-scale assault. A small, one-man fighter should be able to penetrate the outer defense."

"Pardon me for asking, sir, but what good are snub fighters against that?" Vandar asked Dodonna.

"The Empire doesn't consider a small, one-man fighter to be any threat or they'd have a tighter defense. An analysis of the plans provided by Princess Leia has demonstrated a weakness in the battle station," Dodonna answered as the diagram of the Death Star continued to zoom in as the monitor began to show the battle station's trenches.

A black and white R2 astromech droid then whistled a response as he stood next to R2 and C-3PO as he moved his dome around.

"The approach will not be easy," Dodonna went on, "You're required to maneuver straight down this trench and skim the surface to this point." The diagram of the Death Star then stopped zooming in on the battle station as it reached an exposed exhaust port down one of the Death Star's trenches, "The target area is only two meters wide. It's a small thermal exhaust port right below the main port. The shaft leads directly to the reactor system."

The monitor then showed a ship flying past the exhaust port and dropping a proton torpedo into it.

"A precise hit will start a chain reaction which should destroy the station," Dodonna stated as the proton torpedo on the monitor then showed a chain reaction from it being dropped into the exhaust port, "Only a precise hit will set up a chain reaction. The shaft is ray-shielded, so you'll have to use proton torpedoes."

"That's impossible, even for a computer," Wedge said with disbelief in his voice.

"But it's not impossible. I used to bull's-eye womp rats in my T-16 back home," Luke assured him, "They're not much bigger than two meters."

"Luke's right, using a proton torpedo against it is not impossible, Wedge," Appo said, agreeing with Luke, "General Skywalker even did the same thing with a droid control ship from the inside when he was a kid with an N-1 starfighter during the Battle of Naboo."

"I even told Fives about that during the Battle of Umbara, Appo," Jesse told Appo before Rex, Cody, Howzer and Cade smiled at him.

"Then man your ships, and may the Force be with you," Dodonna said before every single rebel pilot stood up from their chair as they began to leave the briefing room.

"Orbiting the planet at maximum velocity," a computerized voice said over the Death Star with a diagram of Yavin, its fourth moon and the Death Star on a monitor within the battle station's room before switching to an image of the Gas Giant and a small image of the battle station as it continued to approach Yavin 4 with Tarkin and Vader standing in the room, "The moon with the rebel base will be in range in 30 minutes."

"This will be a day long remembered," Vader stated as he and Tarkin stared out the Death Star's viewport, "It has seen the end of Kenobi and will soon see the end of the rebellion and Cade Skywalker."

Back in Capital City Hospital on Lothal and inside of Ward 17, Hera was holding Jacen in her arms as everyone was sitting on chairs in the room, talking to each other before Hera turned to Janus.

"Janus, can you get Satele and Sabine for me?" Hera asked the Mandalorian, "I have something to tell everyone and that includes them."

"Will do," Janus replied as he stood up and left the ward and looked at his fianceé and her sister as they were using their airbrushes on the canvas of the memorial for the Alderaanian survivors, "Satele, Sabine, Hera wants to speak with everyone."

"Janus, you surprised me," Satele told him as she placed a cloth over the canvas of the memorial for the Alderaanian survivors as she looked at him and was a bit surprised to see him standing next to her, "Why are you standing next to me and Sabine?"

"As I said, Hera wants to see us," Janus answered.

"All right, then, let's go see Hera," Sabine said as she and Satele stood up and placed their airbrushes in their armors' bags with Satele holding the canvas for the Alderaanian survivors under her arm as they walked back into Ward 17, "Hera, Janus said you wanted to speak with us."

"Yeah, I did, but I also wanted to speak with everyone of you as well," Hera confirmed.

"Well, what is it?" Zeb asked her as he crossed his arms.

"I believe that it's time we return to Yavin," Hera answered, causing everyone to look at her with surprise.

"You want us to return to Yavin this early, Hera?" Satele asked Hera with surprise in her voice.

"The Death Star could be destroyed any day now, considering how long we've been here on Lothal, Satele," Hera explained, "Or it could already be destroyed."

"I guess you're right, Hera," Satele said, agreeing with the Twi'lek, "Although, it probably hasn't happened yet as I haven't felt all the people aboard the Empire's super weapon being destroyed yet."

"And I would've felt it as well," Sabine muttered, agreeing with her sister, "But you're right, Hera, we should head back to Yavin soon."

"Well, I don't know about you, but I'll be glad to be back on Yavin when we arrive back at rebel command," Zeb stated as he stood up from the chair he was sitting on.

"We know you will, Zeb," Satele told the Lasat.

"We'll have to contact Yavin before we reach rebel command," Janus said as he looked at Hera.

"I know we will, Janus," Hera told Janus, "And I'll be the one to contact them." She then turned to the Lothalite governor, "Ryder, tell the receptionist that Satele spoke to before I gave birth to Jacen here when we arrived here at Capital City Hospital."

"Certainly, General Syndulla," Ryder replied as he stood up from the chair he was sitting on as he left Ward 17 and began to head back towards the hospital's reception area.

"When you guys arrive back at rebel command on Yavin, I hope you guys will tell Rex and the other clones there I said hello," Wolffe told them.

"Don't worry, we will, Wolffe," Satele assured the clone.

"What do we do when we arrive back on Yavin?" Mart asked Hera.

"I'm not sure, Mart," Hera answered, "Hopefully I'll think of something by the time we arrive back on Yavin."

"Well, what should we do if the operation to destroy the Death Star is already happening?" Kallus asked her.

"Then we'll have to stay in Hyperspace till the Death Star is destroyed then," Hera answered.

"That's a good idea, Hera," Lyste said, agreeing with her.

"Yeah, that's a great idea, General Syndulla," Raddus stated, agreeing with Lyste.

As Ryder entered the hospital's reception area, he walked up towards the front desk and the receptionist that Satele spoke to everyone followed Hera's hover-stretcher towards Ward 17.

"Is there something you want, Governor Azadi?" The receptionist asked Ryder.

"General Syndulla is ready to leave," Ryder answered as Hera, Satele, Sabine, Janus, Zeb, Chopper, Kallus, Lyste, Raddus and Wolffe appeared in the doorway that Ryder walked through moments before with Hera holding Jacen as he slept in her arms, "I assume that's not gonna be a problem?"

"It won't be, Governor," the receptionist answered.

"Thank you," Hera told the receptionist as she and the others walked towards the front desk.

"No problem, General Syndulla," the receptionist told the Twi'lek before they all began to leave the hospital, "I hope your rebellion wins against the Empire!"

"Don't you worry, it will," Satele assured him as she turned around towards him, "I can guarantee that." The receptionist then smiled as Satele turned back around as she, her sister, fiancé and the others left the hospital.

"Let's take my speeder, it'll be faster for you guys than just a hoverbus," Ryder told everyone as he hopped inside of his landspeeder.

"Yeah, using your speeder to get to the landing platform where our ships are landed on top of would be faster than just using a hoverbus to get there, Ryder," Satele said, agreeing with Ryder as they all hopped onto Ryder's landspeeder.

About half an hour later, they arrived back at the landing platform and saw that the Ghost, Mart's X-wing and the Brental Star had finished refueling before the three Mandalorians, Hera, Zeb, Chopper, Kallus, Lyste and Raddus hopped out of the landspeeder.

"Well, here we are," Ryder said as he and Wolffe followed them out of the landspeeder, "So, Satele and Janus, this will be the last time we'll see each other till your wedding?"

"I guess it is, Governor," Janus replied as he shook his hand.

"Yeah, the next time we see each other will probably be at our wedding," Satele told Ryder, agreeing with her fiancé.

"Sabine, Hera, Zeb, Kallus and Lyste, I wish you all luck and goodbye," Ryder said as he turned towards them before looking at Raddus, "It was nice meeting you, Admiral, and I want to wish you luck as well."

"It was nice meeting you as well, Governor Azadi," Raddus told the Lothalite governor.

"Yeah, it was nice seeing you again, Governor," Zeb stated as he looked at Ryder.

"I agree, it was nice seeing you again, Governor Azadi," Kallus said, agreeing with the Lasat.

"Yeah, it was good seeing you again, Governor," Lyste muttered, agreeing with Zeb and Kallus.

"It was nice seeing you again as well, Ryder," Sabine said, agreeing with Zeb, Kallus and Lyste.

"See you in about a month's time, Governor," Mart told Ryder.

"Yeah, see you at Satele and Janus' wedding, Mart," Ryder said, agreeing with him.

"Goodbye, Governor Azadi," Hera told Ryder with a smile on her face before Chopper grunted a response.

"I want to say goodbye to you all as well," Wolffe said as he walked away from Ryder's landspeeder as he approached everyone.

"It was nice seeing you again, Commander," Janus told Wolffe as he shook the Clone's hand.

"Goodbye, Commander Wolffe," Satele said as she gave him a salute.

"You too, Commander Wren," Wolffe replied as he saluted her back.

"See you at Satele and Janus' wedding," Mart said as he looked at Wolffe with a smile.

"Yeah, see you there, Mart," Wolffe replied, agreeing with him.

"See you around, Commander," Kallus told the Clone.

"Yeah, see you around, Commander Wolffe," Lyste said, agreeing with Kallus.

"See you both around as well," Wolffe told Kallus and Lyste.

"It was nice meeting you, Commander Wolffe," Raddus said as he looked at Wolffe.

"It was nice meeting you too, Admiral Raddus," Wolffe told the Mon Calamari, agreeing with him as he smiled.

"Goodbye, Wolffe, see you at Satele and Janus' wedding," Hera said with a smirk on her face before Chopper grunted a response.

"See you there as well, General Syndulla," Wolffe muttered, agreeing with the Twi'lek.

"Governor Azadi, can I ask you something before we go?" Hera asked Ryder.

"Certainly," Ryder answered, "What do you want to know?"

"I was wondering where Pryce was during our stay here on Lothal," Hera told him.

"She's currently with her family and is thinking of a way to make it up to you for causing Kanan to die when he rescued you when he, Satele and Sabine were saving you from her when she captured you," Ryder explained.

"Oh, that's good, I was hoping for her to make it up to me for blowing up the fuel depot and killing Kanan because if she didn't, she could've just stayed on the dome when it exploded when we freed Lothal," Hera stated with a smile on her face.

"Goodbye, Jacen Syndulla," Ryder told the human-Twi'lek hybrid as he petted the newborn's head, "I'll see you at Satele and Janus' wedding."

"You sure will, Governor," Hera assured the Lothalite governor as Mart walked up towards his X-wing and flipped open its window as he entered his starfighter, "Anyway, we need to leave, so see you in a month."

"Yeah, see you then, General Syndulla," Ryder said, agreeing with the Twi'lek as she, Zeb, Kallus, Lyste and Raddus walked towards the Ghost as its ramp lowered before Ryder turned towards Satele as she, Sabine and Janus began walking towards the Brental Star as its ramp also lowered, "Satele, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Sure thing, Ryder," Satele answered as she walked over to the Lothalite governor, "What do you want?"

"I want to offer food and medical supplies for the Mandalorian resistance in case you, Sabine and Janus ever rejoin your people's fight against the Empire," Ryder explained.

"Thank you for offering that for us, Governor," Satele said with a smile on her face, "I'll be sure to tell Bo-Katan about it if we ever do rejoin our people's fight against the Empire."

"No problem, Satele," Ryder told her as Satele walked back towards her Kom'rk-class fighter as she entered her ship.

"Chop, patch in rebel command," Hera ordered Chopper as they along with Zeb, Kallus, Lyste and Raddus entered the Ghost's cockpit before Chopper pulled out one of his metal arms and grunted a response as a hologram of Mon Mothma appeared from his holoprojector.

"General Syndulla," Mon Mothma greeted the Twi'lek before looking at Hera's stomach, "It seems that you've just given birth to you and your late boyfriend's child."

"Yes, I have, Senator," Hera confirmed with a smile on her face before showing Jacen to her, "Meet my son, Jacen Syndulla."

"I congratulate you, General," Mon Mothma told Hera.

"Thanks, Senator," Hera said before turning to Zeb, "Zeb, can you take Jacen to his hovering pram in my cabin, will you?"

"Sure thing, Hera," Zeb answered as she handed him Jacen before he left the Ghost's cockpit as he went to place Jacen in the hovering pram in Hera's room.

"Any news on the Death Star's whereabouts, Senator?" Hera asked Mon Mothma as she crossed her arms.

"Princess Leia says that its on its way towards our base on Yavin," Mon Mothma answered, causing Hera to gasp with everyone else doing the same, "She was captured by Vader and the Empire when she and Captain Avenger were on their way to Tatooine and taken to the Death Star as a prisoner, but she was freed by Captain Avenger, a farm boy, who seems to be her twin brother named Luke Skywalker, a smuggler named Han Solo and a partner of his that is a Wookiee named Chewbacca and as they escaped the Empire's battle station, Leia said that Captain Solo's ship, a modified YT-1300 Corellian light freighter named the Millennium Falcon had a tracker placed on it while they were rescuing her and after they arrived on Yavin, we found that she was correct and removed the tracker from his ship."

"By Han Solo, you mean the smuggler, Senator?" Hera asked her with shock and surprise in her voice.

"The very same, General," Mon Mothma answered, "You know him?"

"Yeah, I do," Hera confirmed, "Let's just say me and him have a rivalry."

"I'm sure you and him can talk about it when you and your crew return to Yavin," Mon Mothma told her.

"Well, what's he doing there?" Hera asked her.

"He was just finishing a job that Cade and his former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi hired him to do," Mon Mothma answered, "They paid him to get Princess Leia's droid, R2-D2 to her father on Alderaan before it was destroyed."

"How long will he be there?" Hera asked her.

"I'm not sure, General Syndulla," Mon Mothma answered, "But the battle on the Death Star will begin very soon."

"See you in a few hours, Senator," Hera told her.

"You too, General," Mon Mothma replied as Chopper deactivated his holoprojector.

"Satele, we'll have to stay in Hyperspace for a few hours as the Death Star has discovered that our base is on Yavin and that the attack on the Death Star is already commencing," Hera said as she contacted Satele and the Brental Star with the Ghost's communications system.

"You got it, Hera," Satele replied from the Ghost's communications system before both ships along with Mart's X-wing lifted off from the landing platform as they began to leave Lothal with Mart docking his X-wing back with the VCX-100 light freighter as it left Lothal's atmosphere before the Ghost and the Brental Star jumped into Hyperspace as they left the Lothal system.

Meanwhile back on Yavin 4, C-3PO, Cade and Luke, who were both now wearing rebel pilot uniforms with rebel pilot helmets under their arms as they followed other rebel pilots into the hangar of the Great Temple with Cade's helmet having a marking that looked like a blue handprint made from eel blood on the right side of his helmet, the Old Republic roundel on the left side of his helmet and the Rebel alliance's starbird over his helmet's visor, while Luke's had red colored Rebel Alliance starbirds on both sides of the helmet.

"All flight crews, man your stations," a masculine voice said from the rebel base's intercom as Cade and Luke saw Han with crates on a rebel personnel carrier next to him with a rebel fleet trooper and Chewbacca standing next to him and a Y-wing with a couple more rebel fleet troopers and a repair crew standing around the Y-wing, repairing the starfighter, "All flight crews, man your stations."

"So, you got your reward and you're just leaving, then?" Luke asked the smuggler as he and Cade approached him as Han had his hand on a crate next to Luke and Cade as he stood in front of the crate.

"That's right. Yeah," Han answered as he picked up the crate, "I got some old debts I gotta pay off with this stuff. Even if I didn't, you both don't think I'd be fool enough to stick around here, d ya?" He then placed the crate on the rebel personnel carrier, "Why don't you come with us, Luke? You're pretty good in a fight. We could use ya."

"That's not a good idea with the Empire and all that, Han," Cade told the smuggler.

"Uncle Cade's right, Han," Luke said, agreeing with his uncle, "And besides, come on. Why don't you take a look around? You know what's about to happen, what they're up against. They could use a good pilot like you. You're turning your back on them."

"I understand you not wanting to join me, Luke," Han told him, "But what good's a reward if you ain't around to use it? Besides, attacking that battle station ain't my idea of courage. It's more like suicide."

"All right," Luke muttered as he nodded at the smuggler, "Well, take care of yourself, Han. I guess that's what you're best at, isn't it?"

"I'm pretty sure he might join our rebellion one day, Luke," Cade assured his nephew as they began walking away from Han.

"Hey, Luke, Cade," Han called out to them, causing both Luke and Cade to stop and turn back around towards him, "May the Force be with you." Chewbacca then growled a response in Shyriiwook as he looked at him, causing Han to look at him, "What are you looking at? I know what I'm doing." He then grabbed one of the crates.

"All pilots to your stations," the same masculine voice said from the rebel base's intercom as a black and silver R2-series astromech droid was lowered into the astromech port of an X-wing with a rebel crew personnel standing on a ladder next to the starfighter as a couple of rebel fleet troopers were riding a rebel personnel carrier with a rebel pilot sitting on the carrier, "All pilots to your stations."

"What's wrong, Luke?" Leia asked her brother as she walked towards him and Cade as she, Dodonna and a couple of rebel fleet troopers walked under the wing of an X-wing.

"Oh, it's Han," Luke answered, "I don't know. I really thought he'd change his mind."

"He's got to follow his own path," Leia told him, "No one can choose it for him."

"I only wish Ben were here," Luke muttered to himself.

"For all we know, Han just might change his mind and help us during the battle," Cade assured his nephew before Leia hugged him and Luke.

"Open main launch tubes," the same masculine voice said on the rebel base's intercom as Leia walked away from Luke and Cade as they walked away from her as well and began to approach the X-wings.

"Hey, Luke! Cade!" Both Luke and Cade heard a familiar voice say before they turned around to see Biggs approaching them.

"Biggs!" Luke said, happily as he looked at him.

"I don't believe it," Biggs muttered as he placed a hand on Luke's back, "How are ya?"

"Great," Luke answered.

"Nice to see you again, Biggs," Cade said as he looked at Luke, "Did you tell Luke about when you joined the Rebellion?"

"Uh, not yet," Biggs answered before turning back to the farm boy, "I joined the Rebellion when a Mandalorian named Sabine helped me, Wedge and a fellow rebel pilot named Hobbie escape Skystrike Academy on Montross."

"That was two years ago when I was still frozen in my carbonite prison on Lothal," Cade added.

"She helped you escape the Imperial Academy?" Luke said with shock in his voice as he looked at Biggs.

"So, you're taking part in the operation to destroy the Death Star, Biggs?" Cade asked Biggs.

"Yeah, I am," Biggs answered, "You?"

"Yeah, as Red Six," Cade answered, "I just joined Red Squadron."

"You're joining Red Squadron?" Biggs said with shock in his voice.

"I sure am," Cade confirmed.

"Well, I'll be glad to have you in Red Squadron," Biggs told Cade as he smiled before turning to Luke, "Coming up, Luke?"

"I'll be up there with you and Uncle Cade," Luke answered as Dreis watched them from a few feet away, "Have I got stories to tell you, Biggs."

"Nice to see you again, Cade," Dreis said, smiling as he approached the former Jedi, Luke and Biggs after he walked past them.

"You too, Red Leader," Cade told him as he smiled at him as well.

"Skywalker," Dreis said, greeting Luke as he pointed at an X-wing nearby, "Are you sure you can handle this ship?"

"He fended off a squadron of TIE fighters when we were escaping the Death Star," Cade told him, "So, it's safe to say that he's a pretty good pilot."

"And, sir, Luke is the best bush pilot in the Outer Rim Territories," Biggs added, agreeing with Cade.

"You'll do all right," Dreis told Luke.

"Thank you, sir. I'll try," Luke said, happily as he looked at him.

"Gotta get aboard. We'll hear all your stories when we get back, all right, Luke?" Biggs asked Luke.

"Right," Luke answered as they walked underneath an X-wing with Cade, "Hey, Biggs. I told you I'd make it someday."

"It'll be like old times, Luke," Biggs told Luke, "They'll never stop us."

"See you after the battle, Luke," Cade said as he and Biggs walked away from Luke to two separate X-wings as Luke climbed up the ladder of the X-wing that he was standing next to.

"This R2 unit of yours seems a bit beat up," a rebel crewman told Luke as they were getting R2 into the X-wing's astromech port, "You want a new one?"

"Not on your life," Luke answered as he placed his rebel pilot's helmet inside the cockpit of the X-wing, "That little droid and I have been through a lot together." He then looked up at the astromech droid, "You okay, R2?" The astromech then beeped a response, "Good." He then climbed into his X-wing and placed his helmet over his head.

"You need help, Captain?" One of the rebel crewmen asked Cade as he approached the X-wing next to Luke's and began climbing up its ladder.

"Just a little," Cade answered, "Can you get the nav computer setup?"

"Certainly," the rebel crewman answered as he began to set the X-wing's navicomputer for the battle to destroy the Death Star.

"Nice to have you as my partner during this battle, B4," Cade said as he looked at an R2 astromech painted silver and blue that was being placed into the astromech port of his X-wing and held his hand towards him before he beeped a happy response when the rebel crewman finished setting the X-wing's navicomputer.

"Good luck in the battle, Captain," the rebel crewman told Cade as he jumped down from the X-wing and walked away from the starfighter as he looked at him.

"Gold squadron, begin takeoff procedure," the same masculine voice said from the rebel base's intercom as Cade entered the X-wing's cockpit and placed his helmet over his head.

"Hang on tight, R2. You've got to come back," C-3PO told R2 as the rebel crewmen on Luke's X-wing placed R2 into his astromech port on Luke's X-wing before he beeped a response, "You wouldn't want my life to get borning, would you?" R2 then beeped another response.

A rebel personnel carrier then flew around the hanger before a rebel pilot on the rebel personnel carrier hopped off and climbed up the ladder of an X-wing as they entered the rebel starfighter as the rebel crewmen began handing each rebel pilot their helmets before they placed them over their heads before a couple of rebel troopers were holding signals with orange lights and waving them back and forth as the rebel crewmen removed the fuel pumps from the starfighters' fuel tanks as their cockpits slid shut with both Luke and Cade's X-wings lifting off from the ground.

"Luke, Cade, the Force will be with you," both Luke and Cade heard the voice of Obi-Wan say in their heads before they along with every other rebel pilot began piloting their starfighter out of the hangar as they began to leave the atmosphere of Yavin 4.

"Standby alert. Death Star approaching," Leia, C-3PO and a rebel officer with light skin, gray hair and blue eyes heard a masculine voice say on the rebel base's intercom as they entered the debriefings room and approached the holotable with Dodonna, Mon Mothma, Lux and Kalani as the Alderaanian princess placed her hands on the holotable as they looked at a starmap of some kind on the holotable, "Estimated time to firing range, 15 minutes." One part of the map then turned red as rebel officers behind them were working at computers.

As the X-wings of Red Squadron and Y-wings of Gold Squadron flew past the Gas Giant of Yavin, Cade was flying his X-wing next to Luke's as they all began flying towards the Death Star.

"All wings report in," Red Leader ordered everyone.

"Red Ten standing by," a rebel pilot said from his X-wing.

"Red Seven standing by," an overweight rebel pilot with light skin, blue eyes and brown hair that had begun graying with a goatee stated from his X-wing.

"Red Three standing by," Biggs reported from his X-wing.

"Red Six standing by," Cade said from his X-wing.

"Red Nine standing by," another rebel pilot stated from their X-wing.

"Red Two standing by," Wedge reported from his X-wing.

"Red Eleven standing by," yet another rebel pilot said from their X-wing.

"Red Five standing by," Luke reported from his X-wing before R2 beeped a response.

"Lock S-foils in attack position," Red Leader ordered every single X-wing rebel pilot before they opened their S-foils as they began to approach the Death Star, "We're passing through the magnetic field. Hold tight. Switch your deflectors on. Double front." Every rebel pilot then switched their starfighters' deflectors on.

"Look at the size of that thing," Wedge muttered to himself as he stared at the Death Star.

"Cut the chatter, Red Two," Red Leader ordered Wedge, "Accelerate to attack speed." They then began to head towards one of the Death Star's trenches, "This is it, boys."

"Red Leader, this is Gold Leader," Vandar said, contacting Red Leader with his Y-wing's communications system as he and Gold Squadron began approaching the Death Star.

"I copy, Gold Leader," Red Leader replied from his X-wing.

"We're starting for the target shaft," Vandar told him.

"We're in position," Red Leader stated, "I'm going to cut across the axis and draw their fire."

The X-wings of Red Squadron then began flying towards the trench of the Death Star that they were approaching as stormtroopers that were operating the battle station's turbolasers began firing them at the rebel starfighters with each X-wing evading the turbolasers.

"Heavy fire, boss, 23 degrees," Wedge said over the communications system of the holotable in the debriefings room as everyone stared at the holotable.

"I see it," Red Leader replied from the holotable's communications system.

As Wedge flew his X-wing across the surface of the Death Star, he evaded lasers from one of the battle station's turbolasers.

"This is Red Five. I'm going in," Luke said, contacting his fellow rebel pilots with his X-wing's communications system.

"I'm with you, Red Five," Cade told Luke with his X-wing's communications system before they flew towards the Death Star and fired their starfighters' laser cannons upon the surface of the battle station, causing a few of the systems n the Death Star's surface to burst open as the electricity from it began to obscure their view.

"Luke, Cade, pull up!" Biggs ordered Luke and Cade before they pulled up and flew away from the Death Star's surface, "You both all right?"

"A little cooked, but I'm okay," Luke answered.

"I'm the same," Cade said, agreeing with his nephew.

"We count 31 rebel ships, Lord Vader, but they're so small they're evading our turbolasers," Tanbris reported to Vader as he approached him in one of the Death Star's corridors after running past a couple stormtroopers as an alarm was blaring throughout the entire battle station as an R2-series astromech droid colored white and red with a clear dome rolling down the corridor behind them.

"We'll have to destroy them ship to ship," Vader told him, "Get the crews to their fighters."

Vader and the Imperial officer then walked away from each other.

Back in space and around the Death Star's surface, the turbolaser batteries continued to fire at the X-wings of Red Squadron, only for them to evade the lasers of the turbolasers.

"Watch yourselves," Red Leader warned Luke and Cade from his X-wing, "There's a lot of fire coming from the right side of that deflection tower."

"I'm on it," Luke told him.

"As am I," Cade said, agreeing with his nephew.

"I'm going in," Biggs announced, "Cover me, Porkins."

"I'm right with you, Red Three," Porkins told him before they fired their X-wings' laser cannons upon one of the deflection towers, blowing up a section of one of the walls inside the battle station, knocking a few stormtroopers in the corridor to the floor as one of the turbolaser batteries fired their lasers at Porkins with him evading the lasers, "I've got a problem here."

"Eject," Biggs suggested.

"I can hold it," Perkins assured him.

"Pull up!" Biggs ordered Porkins.

"No, I'm all right…" Porkins began to say before he was shot down by a laser from one of the turbolaser batteries before his X-wing blew up, killing him instantly.

"The rebel base will be in firing range in seven minutes," the computerized voice said over the Death Star's computer system as Tarkin was still standing in the battle station's control room.

"Luke, trust your feelings," Luke heard Obi-Wan say in his head before he and Cade began firing their X-wings' laser cannons upon the Death Star's surface again, causing a couple of Imperial technicians to fall off of the seats of the turbolaser batteries.

"Squad leaders, we've picked up a new group of signals," a rebel officer with light skin, brown hair and eyes, wearing a headset over his head named Del Goren said, contacting both Red and Gold Leader with his headset from the rebel base's debriefings room, "Enemy fighters coming your way."

"My scope's negative," Luke told Goren, "I don't see anything."

"Pick up your visual scanning," Red Leader suggested.

"And I can feel them coming towards us," Cade added, agreeing with Goren.

"Here they come," they heard the masculine voice from the rebel base's intercom as Biggs turned his head as six TIE fighters began flying towards them with two of the TIE fighters being behind the other four TIE fighters.

"Watch it! You've got one of your tail," Red Leader warned one of his fellow Red Squadron X-wing pilots as one of the TIE fighters chased him.

"I'm hit!" The rebel pilot yelled as the TIE fighter's laser cannons collided with his X-wing, destroying the starfighter and killing him instantly.

"You've picked one up," Luke told Biggs, "Watch it."

"I can't see it," Biggs stated before he saw a TIE fighter chasing him from behind, "He's on me tight. I can't shake him." The TIE fighter then began to fire its laser cannons with Biggs evading the TIE fighter's lasers.

"I'll be right there," Luke assured him as he began chasing the TIE fighter as it appeared on his X-wing's scope before firing his starfighter's laser cannons upon it, destroying the TIE fighter instantly before he saw a TIE fighter chasing his uncle's X-wing, "There's one right behind you, Uncle."

"I see him," Cade told his nephew as he saw the TIE fighter flying behind him and firing it's laser cannons at him before the former Jedi swooped behind him and fired his X-wing's laser cannons back at the TIE fighter, destroying it instantly.

"Several fighters have broken off from the main ground and I sense that one of them is Cade Skywalker," Vader told two TIE pilots as he approached them in one of the Death Star's corridors, "Come with me." The two TIE pilots then began to follow Vader as they walked down the corridor and walked through a doorway nearby.

"Fall in. Fall in," Wedge said from the communications system of the holotable in the rebel base's debriefings room.

"Yeah, everyone do as he says," Cade told everyone, agreeing with Wedge from the holotable's communications system.

"Watch your back, Luke," Biggs warned Luke from the holotable's communications system.

"Watch your back!" Biggs went on, "Fighters above you, coming in."

Luke then looked behind him and saw that a TIE fighter was chasing him from behind as it began firing it's laser cannons at his X-wing, only for Cade to fire his X-wing's laser cannons from behind, destroying it instantly.

"Thanks, Uncle Cade," Luke told his uncle with a smile.

"No problem, Luke," Cade replied.

"I'm glad that you're up here with us," Luke told his uncle as he flew across the Death Star's surface.

"Red Leader, this is Gold Leader," Vandar said, contacting Red Leader with his Y-wing communications system, "We're starting our attack run." Every single Y-wing of Gold Squadron then began to fly towards the surface of the Death Star.

"I copy, Gold Leader," Red Leader replied on the communications system of the holotable in the rebel base's debriefings room, "Move into position."

Meanwhile in the Death Star's hangar bay, Vader piloted his TIE fighter out of the hangar bay with the two TIE pilots piloting two TIE fighters as well as they followed the Sith Lord.

"Stay in attack formation," Vader ordered the TIE pilots as they went to intercept the rebel pilots.

"The exhaust port is marked and locked in," Vandar reported from his Y-wing as he and Gold Squadron flew their starfighters into one of the Death Star's trenches, avoiding lasers from the battle station's turbolaser batteries along the way, "Switch all power to front deflector screen."

Every Y-wing pilot of Gold Squadron then switched their power to their starfighters' front deflector screens as they flew across the Death Star's trench, evading lasers from the turbolaser batteries.

"How many guns do you think, Gold Five?" Vandar asked one of his Y-wing pilots.

"Say about 20 guns, some on the surface, some on the towers," Gold Five answered from the communications system on the holotable in the rebel base's debriefings room.

"Death Star will be in range in five minutes," the same masculine voice said over the rebel base's intercom.

"Switch to targeting computer," Vandar ordered his Y-wing pilots as he and the other Y-wings of Gold Squadron continued to evade the lasers from the battle station's turbolasers as his starfighter's targeting computer moved over towards his eyes but saw that he couldn't get a signal from it before he moved it back away from his eyes, "Computer's locked. Getting a signal." The turbolasers then suddenly stopped firing at them, surprising him, "The guns. They've stopped."

"Stabilize your rear deflectors," Gold Five suggested, "Watch for enemy fighters."

"They're coming in. Three marks at 210," Gold Leader said as he had his targeting computer back over his eyes as Vader and the two TIE pilots flew their TIE fighters towards the trench.

"I'll take them myself," Vader told the two TIE pilots, "Cover me."

"Yes, sir," one of the TIE pilots replied as they began to chase the Y-wings with Vader's targeting computer locking onto one of the Y-wings and fired his TIE fighter's laser cannons at it, destroying the Y-wing instantly, which Vandar noticed as he began to fly faster through the trench.

"It's no good," Vandar stated as he began to panic, "I can't maneuver."

"Stay on Target," Gold Five ordered Vandar.

"We're too close," Vandar added.

"Stay on target," Gold Five told his squadron leader.

"Loosen up!" Vandar ordered when Vader suddenly fired his TIE fighter's laser cannons at him, destroying his Y-wing and killing him instantly.

"Gold Five to Red Leader, lost Tiree, lost Dutch," Gold Five reported to Red Leader.

"I copy, Gold Leader," Red Leader told Gold Five.

"They came from behind," Gold Five added when he was also suddenly shot down from behind before his Y-wing was shot down, killing him instantly with Luke and Cade watching as his Y-wing exploded.

"We've analyzed their attack, sir, and there is a danger," Bast informed Tarkin as he walked up to him in the Death Star's control room, "Should I have your ship standing by?"

"Evacuate? In our moment of triumph?" Tarkin scoffed as he looked at him, "I think you overestimate their chances."

"Rebel base, three minutes and closing," the computerized said over the Death Star's computer system.

"Red boys, this is Red Leader," Red Leader said, contacting his squadron as he continued to fly his X-wing across the surface of the Death Star.

"Rendezvous at mark 6.1," Red Leader went on from the communications system of the holotable in the rebel base's debriefings room as multiple rebel officers walked around the room, leaving Leia, C-3PO, two elderly rebel officers, a middle aged rebel officer, Lux, Mon Mothma and Kalani standing around the holotable.

"This is Red Two flying toward you," Red Two stated on the communications system of the holotable.

"Red Three standing by," Red three added from the communications system of the holotable.

"Red Leader, this is Base One," Dodonna said, contacting Red Leader with the communications system of the holotable as he walked back towards the holotable and stood next to Leia.

"Keep half your group out of range for the next run," Dodonna went on from the communications system of Red Leader's X-wing.

"Copy, Base One," Red Leader replied from his X-wing, "Luke, take Red Two, Three and Six. Hold up here and wait for my signal to start your run." He and two other Red Squadron rebel pilots then began to fly their X-wings into the Death Star's trench, "This is it." The battle station's turbolasers then began to fire upon them with the X-wing pilots evading their lasers.

"We should be able to see it by now," Red Ten muttered to himself as they continued to evade the turbolasers.

"Keep your eyes open for those fighters," Red Leader told Red Ten as they continued to evade the lasers from the turbolaser batteries.

"There's too much interference," Red Ten stated before contacting Luke, "Red Five, can you see them from where you are?"

"No sign of any…" Luke began to say before he saw Vader's TIE fighter and the other two TIE fighters flying towards the trench, "Wait. Coming in .35."

"I see them," Red Ten told him as he saw Vader's TIE fighter and the other two TIE fighters flying towards them.

"I'm in range," Red Leader said as he activated his targeting computer with it moving over his left eye as he began to approach the Death Star's thermal exhaust port, "Target's coming up. Just hold them off for a few seconds."

"Close up formation," Vader ordered the TIE pilots as they flew through the trench.

"Almost there," Red Leader muttered as he continued to pilot his X-wing doen the Death Star's trench when Vader suddenly locked onto one of the X-wings behind him with his targeting computer and fired his TIE fighter's laser cannons at it, destroying the X-wing and killing the rebel pilot instantly.

"Better let her loose," Red Ten suggested, "they're right behind me."

"Almost there," Red Leader muttered as he continued to close in on the Death Star's thermal exhaust port.

"I can't hold them," Red Ten stated when one of the TIE fighters suddenly fired their laser cannons upon his X-wing, destroying his starfighter and killing him instantly.

As Red Leader approached the Death Star's thermal exhaust port, his targeting computer beeped before he fired two proton torpedoes at it.

"It's away!" Red Leader announced, only for the proton torpedoes to collide with one of the walls of the trench, causing a stormtrooper within the battle station to fall to the floor.

"It's a hit!" Red Nine announced from the communications system of the holotable in the rebel base's debriefings room.

"Negative," Red Leader corrected.

"Negative. It didn't go in," Red Leader went on as he flew his X-wing away from the Death Star's trench.

"It just impacted on the surface," Red Leader added from the communications system of the holotable in the rebel base's debriefings room.

As Red Leader continued to fly his X-wing away from the Death Star's trench, Vader chased him in his personal TIE fighter and began to fire his TIE fighter's laser cannons at him.

"Red Leader, we're right above you," Luke told Red Leader with his X-wing's communications system, "Turn to .05. We'll cover for you."

"Stay there," Red Leader ordered Luke, "I just lost my starboard engine. Get set up for your attack run." Vader then fired his TIE fighter's laser cannons at the back of Red Leader's X-wing, causing him to yell as he began spiraling down towards the Death Star's surface before crashing into the battle station with Luke and Cade watching.

"Rebel base, one minute and closing," the computerized voice said on the Death Star's computer system as Tarkin looked out the battle station's viewport of the control room.

"Uncle Cade, Biggs, Wedge, let's close it up," Luke said on the communications system of the holotable in the rebel base's debriefings room, "We're going in full throttle."

"That ought to keep those fighters off our back," Luke added as he, Cade, Wedge and Biggs flew over the surface of the Death Star.

"Right with you, boss," Wedge told him.

"Luke, at that speed, will you be able to pull out in time?" Biggs asked Luke as he noticed how fast Luke's X-wing was going.

"It'll be just like Beggar's Canyon back home," Luke assured him.

"Luke's fine, Biggs," Cade told Biggs, "My brother did plenty of fighting like that during the Clone Wars at that speed."

They then flew down into the Death Star's trench and evaded lasers from the turbolaser batteries.

"We'll stay back far enough to cover you," Biggs told Luke.

"My scope shows the tower, but I can't see the exhaust port," Wedge stated, "Are you sure the computer can hit it?"

"Watch yourself," Luke urged him as they continued to evade the lasers from the turbolasers, "Increase speed, full throttle."

"What about that tower?" Wedge asked him.

"He'll take care of the tower, Wedge," Cade told him, "All we have to do is take care of the fighters."

"He's right," Luke said, agreeing with his uncle, "You worry about those fighters. I'll worry about the tower." They then continued to evade the turbolasers when Luke suddenly felt that his X-wing's stabilizer had become loose, "R2, that stabilizer's broken loose. See if you can't lock it down." R2 then beeped a response as he pulled out his utility arm as he went to see if he can lock the X-wing's stabilizer down or not with it.

Biggs, Cade and Wedge looked around as they continued to evade turbolasers as they continued to fly their X-wings down the Death Star's trench when Wedge suddenly saw Vader's personal TIE fighter flying down the trench behind them with the two other TIE fighters.

"Fighters coming in .3," Wedge announced as he turned back towards his X-wing's viewport.

As the TIE fighters chased the four X-wings, one of them fired their laser cannons with one of them colliding with the back of Wedge's X-wing.

"I'm hit. I can't stay with you," Wedge said from the communications system of the holotable in the rebel base's debriefings room.

"Get clear, Wedge," Luke ordered Wedge, "You can't do any more good back there."

"Sorry," Wedge apologized as he flew his X-wing out of the Death Star's trench.

"I'm going with him," Cade said as he flew his X-wing out of the Death Star's trench as well as he followed Wedge.

"Let him go. Stay on the leader," Vader told his TIE pilots, "Although, I sense some familiarity with one of the other pilots."

"Hurry, Luke," Biggs urged Luke, "They're coming in much faster this time."

"R2, try and increase the power," Luke ordered R2 before the astromech beeped a response.

"Hurry up, Luke. Quick," Biggs urged Luke again, "Quick."

Vader then fired his TIE fighter's laser cannons at Biggs' X-wing, destroying it and killing him instantly.

"Rebel base, 30 seconds and closing," Tarkin heard the computerized voice say over the Death Star's computer system as he continued to stare out the viewport of the battle station's control room as he had his right hand's index finger over his mouth.

"I'm on the leader," Vader announced as he chased Luke down the Death Star's trench before R2 whistled a beep.

"Hang on, R2," C-3PO muttered from the rebel base's debriefings room.

Luke had his targeting computer over his left eye as he continued to pilot his X-wing down the Death Star's trench with Vader and the two TIE fighters chasing him before Luke adjusted the targeting computer's setting.

"Use the Force, Luke," Luke suddenly heard Obi-Wan say in his head, causing him to look around in confusion before he looked through his targeting computer again, "Let go, Luke."

"Like with the other pilot, the Force is strong with this one," Vader muttered to himself as he watched Luke's X-wing.

"Luke, trust me," the voice of Obi-Wan assured Luke before he switched off his targeting computer.

"His computer's off," the same masculine voice said from the rebel base's intercom, "Luke you switched off your targeting computer. What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Luke answered from the holotable's communications system, "I'm all right."

R2 beeped as Luke continued to pilot his X-wing through the Death Star's trench before Vader fired his TIE fighter's laser cannons at Luke's X-wing, only for the lasers to collide with R2's dome, causing the astromech to scream.

"I've lost R2," Luke announced from the communications system of the holotable in the rebel base's debriefings room.

"The Death Star has cleared the planet," the same masculine voice said from the rebel base's intercom, causing the map on the holotable to become mostly white with some of it being red as Leia looked at C-3PO, "The Death Star has cleared the planet."

"Rebel base in range," the computerized voice said over the Death Star's computer system as the battle station's viewport switched from the planet Yavin to Yavin 4.

"You may fire when ready," Tarkin told Bast as he looked at him with the corner of his eye.

"Commence primary ignition," the same computerized voice said over the Death Star's computer system as Imperial technicians began to power up the battle station's super laser.

"I have you now," Vader stated as his TIE fighter's targeting computer locked onto Luke's X-wing as he and the two TIE fighters continued to chase Luke through the Death Star's trench before he began to fire his TIE fighter's laser cannons when one of the TIE fighters were suddenly shot down by lasers from a laser cannon from behind, which Luke noticed as he looked behind him for a second before turning back to his X-wing's viewport as Vader began to look around to see where the lasers were coming from, "What?"

"Ya-hoo!" Han exclaimed with his headset back over his head as the Millennium Falcon suddenly appeared nearby and flew towards the Death Star.

"Look out!" The TIE pilot warned Vader when he suddenly flew his TIE fighter into the Sith Lord's TIE fighter, causing him to spiral into one of the walls of the Death Star's trench with Vader spiraling away from the Death Star and into space.

"You're all clear, kid. Now let's blow this thing and go home," Han told Luke before Luke fired his proton torpedoes with them entering the Death Star's thermal exhaust port before Luke exhaled.

"Stand by," the same computerized voice said within the Death Star's computer system as Imperial technicians clicked buttons at the super weapon's systems for the Death Star's laser before one of the other Imperial technicians pulled down one of the levers for the Death Star's super laser as Luke, Cade and Wedge flew their X-wings away from the battle station with the Millennium Falcon before another Imperial technician pulled down another switch for the Death Star's super laser, "Stand by." The Death Star then exploded as if it was a star going supernova, killing everyone aboard, including Tarkin.

"Great shot, kid! That was one in a million!" Han complimented Luke from the Millennium Falcon.

"Remember, the Force will be with you always," the voice of Obi-Wan told Luke as Vader's TIE fighter continued to spiral through space before he regained his TIE fighter's position as he began to fly away from the Yavin system as the remaining rebel ships and the Millennium Falcon began to head back to Yavin 4.

As soon as Luke landed his X-wing back in the hangar of the Great Temple on Yavin 4 with his Starfighter's S-foils closed, he flipped open his X-wing's cockpit and removed his rebel pilot's helmet and placed it on the dashboard of the X-wing as he began climbing down the ladder that was next to the X-wing as everyone in the hangar clapped their hands with multiple rebel pilots running over to him before one of the rebel crewmen patted him on the back.

"Luke!" Leia yelled out to her brother from underneath the X-wing.

"Leia!" Luke said as he turned around and saw his sister before hugging her as they both laughed.

"Hey! Hey!" Han yelled out to Luke and laughed as he ran towards Luke as he had his headset removed again and hugged him with Cade standing next to him.

"I just knew you'd come back," Luke told the smuggler, "I just knew it!"

"I wasn't gonna let you and Cade get all the credit and take all the reward," Han explained as they stopped hugging.

"I knew there was more to you than money," Leia told the smuggler as she hugged him.

"You're father would be proud, Luke," Cade stated with a smile as Luke hugged him.

"Yeah, he would, Uncle," Luke said, agreeing with his uncle as they stopped hugging before they looked at R2 as he was being lowered from the X-wing's astromech port, whose body was badly damaged from the lasers that he was shot by from Vader's TIE fighter, "Oh, no."

"Oh, my," C-3PO muttered as he stared at the astromech droid, "R2, can you hear me?" He didn't get a response from R2, "Say something." A few of the rebel crewmen then grabbed the astromech droid, "You can repair him, can't you?"

"We'll get to work on him right away," one of the rebel crewmen answered.

"You must repair him," C-3PO told them before turning around towards Luke, "Sir, if any of my circuits or gears will help, I'll gladly donate them."

"He'll be all right," Luke assured the protocol droid.

"Luke's right, he'll be fine, 3PO," Cade said, agreeing with his nephew before they along with Han, Leia and Chewbacca walked out of the hangar, laughing with Han, Luke and Leia having their arms around each others backs, while Cade and Chewbacca followed them.
