Wendy walked into the guild.

"Thank you, and... just between us, can you get Erza to try my product?"

"I'll try, but thanks for the sample. Before I suggest it to a model, I'm going to test it out." Naruto told a man that Wendy had never seen before. She saw Yukino was sweeping the floor, which had dirty all over it. Wendy had gone out to get lunch at the other end of the city, and when she had left the guild hall had a few people that had come.

People who wanted to put ads in their magazine.

Of all of the ads that they had in the last issue, aboutr 30% of the stores that did the free ads had come back to pay to put ads apparently. That was still a decent amount of ads for the magazine, though according to Naruto they would need to add at least 2 picture spreads to increase magazine sales if they wanted to appeal to more ad sales. Wendy moved out of the way as the unknown man left the guild.

"... Lunch?"

"Advertiser, don't worry about him too much. More importantly, bring that grub over here... I am starving." Naruto saw lunch and it would make the hours of things he had been doing worth the wait. Wendy handed him his lunch, and gave Yukino lunch as well as the girl took a break from sweeping.

"Gross-"

"Eat the veggies too." Naruto stated to Yukino without missing a beat. He didn't like them either, but he wasn't going to neglect them. Wendy gave Carla lunch, before she sat down next to Naruto and opened her own lunch.

The door opened.

"... Finally... I apologize for being late." Erza entered the guild, huffing and puffing with clear injuries on her body. She wasn't the only one, and Naruto recognized the others who entered the guild with her.

Natsu, Gray, Lucy... and Mirajane as well all entered the guild with a flying blue cat. They all had minor injuries, like they had been in some kind of battle. Naruto turned to look at them, before he waved to Erza. He didn't say anything with food in his mouth.

"AH!" Wendy rushed towards them.

Naruto caught her lunch before it hit the ground.

"This is a guild... it seems so empty!"

"I mean, there are just 4 of us... and since you're from Fairy Tail... don't break anything." Naruto deadpanned when Natsu amused himself by looking around the guild hall. Mirajane was the first healed, and once she got healed she approached Naruto.

"Erza is three days late, and you're not going to ask her why she came injured?"

"Fairy Tail is famous for destruction... I just figured you guys all got caught up in something. Nice to meet you... I take it you don't like Erza's contract?" Naruto had a laidback grin.

Bait.

It had been tossed out.

"Actually, I wanted to talk to you about this contract... this contract... this is an amazing contract." Mirajane sat down where Wendy had been sitting, and she showed the remains of the contract. The contract had been damaged in whatever it was that had caused them to show up days late. Mirajane had a happy smile, and she seemed satisfied with it at least.

Yukino looked at Lucy.

She was staring at Lucy, and at the golden keys at her waist with a blank face. Her jaw was slack, so Naruto grabbed her jaw and moved it to a closed position.

"Eat."

"Also, I read the magazine... it was very well done. I actually enjoyed reading the articles about cooking this neat little dish. I actually tried it, and it was very delicious." Mirajane also showed that she had a copy of the magazine with her. She opened it up to the article that she was talking about, and she had it highlighted. "I enjoy cooking, and I have a few of my own recipies." Mirajane stated as she traced her finger across the magazine.

Naruto nodded to her.

"She is an AWESOME cook and can make GREAT tasting fire!" Natsu sat on Naruto's other side and shouted into his ear pretty much.

Loudly, VERY loudly at that.

"Well, if you want to submit a recipie I can include it."

"Hey, just curious, but do you need any male models?" Gray asked as he stood nearby, leaning against a pillar with his arms crossed.

"I do, but not you... there are already naked pictures of you everywhere, so even if I had you where the Anon Mask people would easily figure out it's you." Naruto had all of the male models in the magazine who had sex with the women wear masks to hide their identities. Gray had been seen naked so many times that he was sure that nothing he did would keep his identity a secret. Gray frowned and nodded for a moment.

Mirajane brought the attention back to herself by putting a hand on Naruto's arm.

Happy was staring at Carla with the same intensity that Yukino was staring at Lucy, who was in the middle of being healed by Wendy.

"Oh, don't mind him. He just wants to keep Erza safe from other guys. I would love to have a recipie of mine in your magazine, but more than that... do you think you could make me a contract offer as well?" Mirajane asked Naruto with a twinkle to her eye. Wendy choked on her next breath nearby when Mirajane herself offered to become a model, and she stared at Naruto.

Naruto just laughed.

"You're a pro, and we're only released a single issue... are you sure you want to get tied down to such a small company?" Naruto hinted that she shouldn't do the deal.

The fish tugged at the bait.

"I've done so many photoshoots with Sorcerer's Weekly, and I've done other modeling before. I'll be honest... this is the best contract I've ever seen. There aren't any hidden details, you aren't going to claim ownership over our modeling careers... while modeling for you, we can do whatever side projects we wish. Even this Fairy Tail clause is reasonable... the flat pay rate is competitive." Mirajane gushed over the quality of the contract being offered.

Competitive pay and better working conditions were the best way to steal models from other companies, and it worked with more than just models.

"Well, I do expect my models to sell their bodies. If I don't offer them good, honest contracts, how can I expect them to be willing to do naughty things... it is only fair that I make sure the benefits outweigh that." Naruto spoke with Mirajane, talking to her like it was only natural. He waved a hand, making it seem like he was just doing what was natural.

Mirajane took out one of her own older contracts.

"No, it isn't normal... typically a model contract owns the model's image during the contract, and prohibits modeling with other agencies. Then there is the limits of selling products with their image. This contract that you offered gives your models freedom to model with other magazines, under the sole condition that we don't bad mouth your magazine... that is an extremely fair condition... and we can even sell our products in your magazine, and all it will cost a model is a slight drop to her flat rate." Mirajane was getting more excited as she compared the contracts.

She could hardly believe the contract when Erza first showed it to her, and she actually got a lawyer to look over the contract for her. A lawyer couldn't find even a single hidden detail in the contract that would be negative to models. Then there was Erza's account of how much fun the shoot was, and how Naruto helped to make every picture as good as he could.

"Oh you... you're making me blush."

"I want to sign with you, if you'll have me... so I'm here to negotiate." Mirajane spoke, and Naruto gave her a copy of the contract to sign.

"Well, if you want to negotiate, your pay is decided on how many photoshoots you do, and the extent of what you are willing to do... since you have experience, I can offer you... 500,000 Jewels per photoshoot." Naruto offered Mirajane, and the woman started to read and check things off in the contract that Naruto offered to her.

She was checking off more things than Erza was.

"That is a little... that is much more than..." Mirajane almost said how much she got paid with another company.

"Well, we're a monthly magazine, not a weekly. So, you can expect 2 or maybe 3 photoshoots for each magazine you appear in. Also, I think you could easily be worth that much." Naruto laughed at her face.

"Is that a lot for modeling?" Gray spoke up.

"The average and experienced model makes close to 20,000 jewels a hour... and will work about 5 hours... he is offering 5 times the amount per photoshoot." Mirajane was stunned by how generous of an offer Naruto was making her. That was more than she had ever made after a week of doing modeling work.

Lucy heard that, and she MOVED across the guild and sat right in Naruto's lap.

"Hey, you need another model?" Lucy showed a little cleavage to Naruto, and showed just how interested she was in being offered a model job.

1 photoshoot alone would pay for 7 months of her rent, an entire 7 months of easy rent money in a single photoshoot.

"You do know that I'm only offering Mirajane THAT amount, because she is a pro model... is very famous, and offers more than just modeling right. She can cook, which is a skill that can be used for an article in the magazine." Naruto deadpanned as he pushed Lucy off of him. Erza finally finished getting healed like everyone. She walked up to Naruto and extended a hand to him, and he gave her a contract that Mirajane was filling out at the moment.

"How much will you offer me?"

"I would offer you 300,000 jewels each session for starters... since you gave me an extremely successful first issue, I can bump that up to 350,000... 400,000 if you sign off on enough checks." Naruto made Erza the financial part of the offer.

Mirajane gave Naruto her completed paperwork.

Naruto looked it over.

"... Okay then... if this is how far you're willing to go, I'm going to increase the offer to... 625,000 a session for you." Naruto wrote down that on the contract, before he signed off on it. Naruto took a copy of Mirajane's contract and started to fill out the copy. He gave the copy to Mirajane for her to keep. "... in 3 months, we'll need to renew this contract."

"How much would you offer me?" Lucy asked, gold money signs in her eyes when she heard how much he was offering Erza and Mirajane. Erza was filling out her paperwork.

"Make a name for yourself, because right now the best I can do is... 140,000."

"I would only offer her 500 jewels for a nudie." Happy the cat then proceeded to get kicked across the guild by Lucy for his comment.

"MY BODY IS WORTH MORE THAN THAT!"

"I'm going to increase my offer to 140,500." Naruto was holding in a laugh, and Natsu started to laugh at the top of his lungs when Naruto went along with the joke. Erza finished filling out her paperwork and handed it to Naruto to copy.

"I look forward to working with you soon."

"I do too... so, which one of us are you going to use for the next magazine?" Mirajane felt a twinge of a desire to compete with Erza. Naruto looked between the women, while Lucy smashed her face into a pillar over how little she was being offered compared to what the others were being offered.

"I will actually need you both... neither of you suffer from sea sickness, do you?"
