(Schwarz POV)

"Sir one of our patrols found a crashed Bullhead, only one survived," Qara told me.

"Any recognizable features on the survivor," I asked.

"Young, not even 13 sir," Qara replied.

"Bring him in," I ordered.

"He's already here sir," Qara told me.

"I see," I said.

Getting up from seat I began the journey to the medical room. It's a short journey but a walk through these ancient halls will always be a blessing. Before long I had already reached the medical room and just as Qara stated their was a young boy lying on the medical table. I stepped in and made my presence known.

"Hello sir," Neru our leading doctor siad.

"Hello Neru, how is the boy," I said.

"He has been fading in and out of consciousness for the past thirty minutes, so I'd say he's doing just fine," Neru said.

"Thank you Neru, may I have some time with the boy," I said.

"Of course sir," she said before stepping out of the room.

"Where am I," I heard a struggled voice say.

"You are safe young man," I said to him.

"Might I ask who you are and why you were traveling through the mountains," I ask the young boy.

"My name is Whitley Schnee and I was trying to see if I could find the Dark Brotherhood and ask them to train me," Whitley said.

'Interesting'

"Well Whitley why do you think they should train you," I said.

"I don't know why they should, all I know is that I can use the skill they teach me to help the Faunus trapped as slaves to my families company," He said.

"A noble cause, well you have come to the right place then Whitley, but if you're not standing in the next twenty minutes we will be sending you back to Atlas," I told him.

All of a sudden the kid started to glow.

'His aura is already unlocked, good'

The glowing stopped and he stood up.

"When do I start sir," he said.

"First let's see where you are," I said.

"I have had no training before this," he said.

"Alrighty then," I said, that's going to make things a little bit harder.

"No time to start like the present.

(One month Time Skip until I can get someone who knows how to write GOOD training parts for RWBY fanfictions to help me cause I am not good at it)

Kid picked up martial arts really quick, and he has the dedication when training to keep muscle but not over do it. Now though it is time to teach him how to summon his weapon of choice.

"Alright kid did you choose the weapon you want to use," I asked.

"Yes sir," He replied.

"Well what is it," I asked.

"I want to use akimbo Model 1887's sir," Whitley said.

"Akimbo shotguns eh," I said.

"Yes sir, with the punch that comes with a shotgun, and the versatility of not always having to stop shooting to reload could be very useful," he said reasoning his decision.

"Didn't say it was a bad idea, just not super common to see is all," I told him.

"Especially in the Brotherhood' most like having the other hand open for any number of uses," I told him.

"I know sir'" he said.

"Alrighty then," I told him, "Now it goes without saying that it is harder to summon a gun than a knife, but you seem to have gotten a good grasp of how to summon a knife so.8.have no doubt that this will be just as easy for you." I said.

"For starters I want you to imagine where you are going to pull the weapons from," Whitley reached for his waist crossing his arms, making each hand grab at a imaginary gun on opposing sides.

"Reverse holsters, alright," I stated.

"Now just like with the knife I want you to think about a weapon forming in your hand," I told him.

I slowly began seeing smoke forming into the faint shape of a gun, but nothing solid yet. After some time Whitley stopped.

"Good, that's better then most can get in their first week," I told him.

Today I'm teaching the kid how to blend in with the snow, but on the way out to where I want to teach him I noticed something strange about the kid... I couldn't see his breath.

"It's cold out tonight right," I said, maybe it has something to do with his rage semblance.

"Not really sir," Whitley said.

"Are you angry by any chance," I asked.

"No sir, by all means this is the most calm I've been since getting here," Whitley said honestly.

'Strange. Maybe rage isn't his semblance, after all it's not unheard of that a individual with aura, that is in a state of pure rage, will have their eyes turn red and have their abilities heightened during said time of rage'

"Alright let's try something think about a small snowball forming in your hand and focus on that," I told him.

"What?," He asked, I could here the confusion in his voice.

"Don't ask just do," I told him sternly.

"Yes sir," he replied.

He did as I told him and after a few seconds a small blizzard formed in his hand.

Said small blizzard slowly began to grow.

And grow.

And grow.

"Ok kid you can stop," I told him a little worried.

"How?," he asked.

"Just think about it going away," I told him.

It shot out of his hand and straight toward the mountains.

And you want to know what it started doing.

It started growing... rapidly.

'Fuck'

"Run kid," I yelled.

We both started running back toward the temple, but the damn blizzard seemed to be right in our tail. I turned to see that it most definitely was right on our tail. The temple was in sight so I did the logical thing, and picked the kid up before using mist form to get us inside the temple.

"Whitley," I said.

"Yes sir," He said squeamishly.

"We are going to train your semblance for the next month, got it," I told him.

"Yes sir," he said with a sigh.

(Time Skip)

The kid's a quick learner I'll give him that. Most people take years to master their semblance, this kid figured out the ins and outs of his semblance and has more ideas on what he could possibly do with it.

"Alright kid you've shown on multiple occasions that you have what it takes to take on a good few of us at once when we're not using our mist form," I told him.

"Your what form sir," Whitley asked.

"Mist form, a technique as old as time to the Dark Brotherhood," I told him.

"I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're going to teach me that next," he said.

"You betcha," I told him.

"Now I have already taught you the basics of summoning mist so that over with," I said, "But now, much like summoning your guns, this us going to be a jump in difficulty."

"Ok tell me what I need to do then sir," he said.

"First I need you to relax for me, calm your mind and think of a cloud of mist forming around his body, it was a thick white [Get your head out of the gutter] mist, it is made white by his winter semblance.

'Kid might just do it first try'

"Once you feel that your entire body is covered with the mist I want you to imagine your body being lifted off the ground and being consumed by the mist," I instructed him.

The mist around Whitley slowly consumed his body but he didn't get off ground.

"Focus Whitley you can do this," I said trying to encourage him.

After a little bit longer Whitley was off the ground and in the air.

"Ok kid try moving around a bit," I said.

He moved slowly but he moved. After some time he came back down and turned back to normal.

"That seemed ineffective for combat," He said.

"Only for now, soon you'll be moving around far faster," I told him.
