POV - Blanc

Even after a days worth of rest the kid still looks horrible. He's pale, and has blood all over making it hard to actually tell what he looks like.

'Oum please don't let this kid die'

"Still here I see," I heard Rot say from behind me.

"Yeah, we'll both be out of your hair soon docter," I said.

"I see," Rot said before walking up to the kid hold a small device.

"What does that do," I asked.

"So many questions," he said, "Normally you come in here, show me your wounds, and give me a handful of lien to pay for my work."

"Sorry sir, I'll stop," I said a bit embarrassed.

"It wasn't a complaint, but to answer your question, this little device is a finger print reader, need to know who are mysterious stranger is," Doctor Rot said.

"Please don't do that sir," I said quickly.

"Why not I'm merely trying to identify who he is," Rot questioned.

"In his culture, if someone other than another member finds out who you are under that mask you would be exiled, and that's the last thing U want to happen," I said.

"Ah I see," Rot said before pulling the device back.

KNOCK

KNOCK

On instinct I extended my blades.

"Blanc is that you," I heard from outside.

Upon hearing my name I opened the door to reveal a sister of the hood.

"Greatings sister is his exact ready," I asked.

"Yes sister Blanc it is just outside of town," she responded.

"Please help me get him to the Bullhead the ," I said.

She nodded before walking over to his left side.

"Doctor would you be so kind as to move the stretcher infront of the table," I asked.

"Sure thing dear," Rot said before pulling a stretcher out of the closet and pulling to sit just infront of the table, "My I assist my carrying the IV stand."

"That would be very helpful yes," I said.

"Ok ready sister on three we lift him up and move him to the stretcher," I said, she replied with a nod.

"Ok... one... two... three lift."

We lifted him off the table and walked forward till he was above the stretcher before slowly lowering him down onto it.

"Good job, now let's get him to the Bullhead," I said.

It was a slow walk to the Bullhead and many of the locals looked at us with quizzical looks. It was to be expected, after all it's not every day that a Bullhead comes to one of these villages. The door to the Bullhead opened revealing one of my Creed brothers.

"I didn't believe it when they said we were picking up a Brotherhood member," he said.

"Well start believing and making sure this kid doesn't die," I said.

"Right," he said before getting to work.

"Good luck sister," I said to my replacement.

"Thank," she said before closing the door.

"To Sanctuary," I said to the pilot.

"Yes ma'am," she replied.

"Fice minutes out," the pilot said.

"Hows the kid doing," I asked.

"He stable so that's a plus," the medic replied.

"Good... good," I said.

After 5 minutes of silence I finally looked out the window to see the side of the mountain opening and a landing strip slowly extending out of the opening.

"Alright everyone buckle in," the pilot said.

Me and the medic did as we were told. After a minute or two I felt the Bullhead stop moving and door beginning to open. It revealed the last person I expected to see... Madam Belyy.

"Madam Belyy," I said with a bowing toward her respectfuly which she returned.

"So where is this Dark Brotherhood member," she said calmly.

At the words Dark Brotherhood everybody stopped and looked ready to draw their weapons.

"He's on board, the medic said that he's stable but wont be up till later today," I said.

I could feel the looks I was getting and I know why I'm getting them. I'm getting them because for the last two centuries the Creed and the Dark Brotherhood have been at odds. Most don't know the reason being as se used to work hand in hand with one another.

"Good, I would like to see him before we let him fully into our home," she said.

"Yes Madam," I said before stepping out of the way so that the Dark Brotherhood member could be let out of the Bullhead.

Slowly the pilot and medic took him out of the Bullhead. I could hear multiple of the brothers and sister extending their blades and could see many grabbing their weapons from the backs or pulling them from scabbards. I saw the kid he looked so peaceful in his current position. That's when it happened, he sat up, and reached for his weapon before stopping.

"Good morning young man," Madam Belyy said.

"Good morning ma'am," Whitley said in a pained voice.

"Might I ask why you reached for your weapon, after all Blanc said you were very pleasant before you passed out," Madam Belyy said.

"My senses screames danger and when I sat up all I saw was a large group of armed strangers who all appeared to want to kill me," Whitley said.

"Then you were trained well," Madam Belyy said.

"Thank you ma'am, I'm sorry for the trouble, I'll leave as soon as I can," Whitley said.

"That wont be necessary, I have questions for you after that we will return you to the Brotherhood with a message," Madam Belyy told him.

"I see, I will do my best to answer your questions to the fullest," Whitley said.

"Good, now I suggest you lay back down and try to rest, we will take care of you till that gash and stab wound are healed," Madam Belyy said.

"Do you still have the sword," Whitley asked.

"Only what's left of it," I said.

"Thank you... I... did I ever catch your name," Whitley asked.

"No, you passed out before I could tell you, my name is Blanc Punyal Sister of the Creed," I said.

"Thank you Blanc I dont think I would have made it to the village if not for you," he said.

"What do you mean you were only maybe 100 yards from the village," I said confused.

'Does he not remember'

"I was... I... I don't remember getting that close," Whitley said equally confused.

"Ok you need to lay down you clearly lost more blood than I had thought," I said walking over to him.l and forcing him to lay back on the stretcher.

"Close your eyes and rest kid, your gonna need it," I said softly.

"Follow me to the medical room," Madam Belyy said.

The pilot and medic did as she said leaving me standing their. Madam Belyy took a few steps before stopping and turning to look at me.

"Come along Blanc you will be guarding him as he rests," Madam Belyy said.

"Yes ma'am," I said before running up to them.

We began to walk through the white halls of the Creed temple every member we walked past bowed toward Madam Belyy out of respect. It wasn't along walk to reach the medical room so we got their fairly quickly.

"Please set him up on the table, do what you can to make sure he heals as quickly as possible, and what ever you do, do not remove his mask, if I find out that anyone of you has even touched his mask you will be publically executed, am I clear," Madam Belyy said to the medical staff.

"Yes ma'am," everyone said.

"Good, now Blanc please follow me to my office I wish to speak with you," Madam Belyy said.

I followed closely behind not wanting to draw any more attention to myself then needed after a few minutes we reached the elevator that leds to Madam Belyy's office.

"Stay here and don't let anyone up," She said to her personal guards.

"Yes ma'am," they said in unison.

We entered the elevator and she pressed the button to bring us to her office. The ride up was silent. Once the elevator finally made it to the top Madam Belyy went behind he desk and sat down.

"Mad-"

"We are alone daughter you may call me mom," she said in a loving tone.

"Am I in trouble mom," I asked.

"No sweety you did the right thing and I'm sure your dad will be happy to have him back," she said.

"Ok it's just with how everyone is looking at me and-"

"Don't worry what they think of you, they only now hate toward the Dark Brotherhood," she said calmly.

"Ok mom," I said.

"Now I want you to make sure no one gets near him besides the medical staff," she said.

"Ok mom, is their anything else," I asked.

"No dear that is all," she said.

I turned and made my way back into the elevator. Before I pressed the button to go down I looked back at mom.

"I love you mom," I said.

"I love you to dear," she said in a loving tone.

I pressed the button and began readying myself for the glares I was going to receive.
