POV - Whitley

"So what exactly is your plan kid," Felix asked.

"It's hard to explain but it should end in me getting all of the Faunus out before setting off a chain reaction using the dust to blow up the mine," I told him.

"So you blow up the mine to cover your tracks, but what about the stuff in the middle," he asked.

"That's for me to worry about," I replied.

"This is your last chance to turn around kid," he said.

"I know," I replied before flying out of my window.

Grabbing The Scroll I call Brutus.

"Are you ready," I asked.

"As ready as I can be," he replied.

"Good," I said before hanging up.

Speeding up I could already see the edge of Atlas.

'I wonder what James will say when I approach him'

Flying over the edge I noticed that the skys were clear tonight. Speeding up again I was already outside the border of Mantle. I could see the mine in the distance and started to take deep breaths. Landing on top of the observation room, I slipped in through the vent.

Standing behind the camera operator I extended my wrist blade. Pulling my arm back I took one last silent breath. Plunging my arm forward I shoved my blade through his neck. Looking around I saw serves lining the walls.

'Let's turn off the cameras'

I started unplugging everything until all of the outside cameras were off.

'That should cover our exit'

Turning into smoke I made my way over to the first tower. The guard was on his scroll not even paying attention. Extending my blade once more I through my arm around him and slit his throat. Turning right I noticed that the other tower guard actually seemed to be paying attention. Flying over I landed on the top.

'Should see if I can convince Jacques to let me enroll in some acrobatic lessons'

Flying into the tower I slit his throat as well. Looking out of the tower I saw the guards on the same path as yesterday. Flying down the tower I slipped into the darkness. One of the guards walked toward me and pulled out a cigarette.

'I could shot him but I think it'd be better off going loud once I'm inside the mine'

Extend my blades once my I plug it right between his eyes.

"You ok Red," one of the Guards asked.

'Shit'

Moving quickly I muffled the guard and killed him.

'Time to move'

I felt the barrel of a gun on the back of my head.

"Don't move," the brave guard said.

Turning into smoke I turned around and cut his stomach wide open.

'Why the hell do the guards outside have such thin armor'

"Please don't," he begged.

Grabbing his head I quickly twisted it, breaking his neck.

'Last one'

Looking around I noticed him stairing at me.

Grabbing my gun I shot him in the chest freezing his heart.

'Well guess we're going loud now'

Walking over to the door I put in the code. The door opened and it appeared that no one had noticed the silence from outside but I knew that wasn't going to last long. Turning into smoke I flew around close to the ceiling. Moving around I made my way to the back of the mine. Seeing all of the guards casually talking to one another.

'Need to move'

Mine 17 was a newer mine so reaching the back wouldn't take me to long. Seeing all of the faunus around me made my rage slowly rise. Reaching the large machinery used for mining I knew the end was in sight.

'Empty... strange'

Landing at the end of the mine I was greeted by large mining machines and pickaxes. Dust crystals and veins spotted the walls. Focusing my concentration on listening I tried to hear if anyone was near me.

'Alone good'

"Somebody down there," I heard a voice ask, "Get over now, or you'll be punished animal."

'Nevermind'

Walking toward the voice a created one of my shotguns. It was pitch black in the tunnel so I had that going for me.

"Get over here now," the voice demanded.

I barely stepped into the light show the guard only my boots. He raised his rifle and pointed it at me.

"Who are you," he asked.

"Death," I replied

Raising my shotgun I aim for his chest and fired. Rushing him I punched the ice and formed on his body. My arm went clean through his body and out the other side. Pulling my arm out of his chest I dropped his body to the floor. Running forward I formed my other shotgun.

"You alright K...

BANG

I shot him in the head, the momentum pulled him back causing his head hit the floor and shatter. Turning down the hall on my right I saw three guards aiming and me. Dropping my guns I turned into smoke. Hitting the middle guard with my feet I knocked him down grabbing the other with my arm I put him between me and the third guard. Extending my wrist blades I slit the throat of the guard in my grip. Pushing his body forward I formed my guns again I shot the third guard. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my side. Looking down the first guard had tried to stab me but was stopped by my aura. Punching guard in the face jumped on top of him and started pushing his own knife down on him. He was strong but without his aura he was slightly weaker then me. I put all my weight on the knife as it slowly entered his forehead. Not the best place to put it but it was easier then trying to get it into his neck. Twisting the knife he slowly stopped struggling.

Getting up I turned into smoke a rushed to the faunus holding area that Jacques calls barracks. One of the guards entered the hall where the faunus stayed, the same guard who was far to touchy with the females. Reforming my body I opened the door and presented with a seen that I never want to see again. He has plants door and a female faunus forced against the wall. She was baren of clothes and crying.

"Hey," I yelled.

He turned and panicked.

"Who the hell are you," he screamed.

"Revenge," I said before rushing him.

He tried to grab his gun but failed. I grabbed his throat and throw him as hard as a could at the wall. Charging him I punched him in the chest with more force then I thought I could muster. I could hear his rib cage brake and the air in his lungs bringing forced out. He slumped to the floor unable to move. Grabbing the sides of his head I lifted him up and summoned a icicle on the wall. Pulling his head back I forced his head on it.

Turning to look at the woman she had fear in her eyes as she looked at me. Crouching down to be on the same level as her, she scotched back trying to get away from me.

"I wont hurt you I promise," I said.

"Who are you," she asked through a shaky voice.

"I'm the person who is gonna get you all out of here," I said.

"Really," a faunus in one of the cells that lined the walls asked.

"Yes, but for right now I need you all to be patient and wait till I get back," I said before grabbing one of the cells locks and freezing it.

Pulling the lock off, I opened the door and reproached the woman. She didn't move this time and let me lick her up. Walking over to the cell I held the woman out to the faunus in the cell. One if the males stepped forward and grabbed her. Stepping out of the cell I shut the door and started walking to the exit.

"When will you come back for us," one of the faunus asked.

"When I'm done with the guards I will return for you all," I told them before leaving the hall.

Turning around I froze the door shut.

'Let's get this over with'

Turning back into smoke, I made my way toward the sound of guards. I could fell myself slipping into my mind, as the world slowly turned red.
