POV - James
I stood off to the side of the stage as I watched Professor Hera took the stage announcing the next team. We had gone slower than usually to give the four initiates time to get here, but it's taken them too much time.
"Getting worried," Simo asked.
"Yes," I answered with a grimace.
"Don't be, I didn't spend damn near a year training Whitley for him to be killed like that," he said with a hearty old man laugh, the kind that you couldn't resist laughing along to.
Professor Hera walked off stage toward me, "That's the last of them, what do we tell the students?"
"Let me handle it," I said before I took the stage.
I looked upon the students and saw one word, uninterest.
"I know you are all curious as to why we have kept you all waiting," I said, "There is still a team in the forest who achieved something that we didn't expect, as such I have made the decision to paden them of the usually disqualification that would ensue."
"What," one student yelled.
"That's not fair," another yelled.
"If you think this world is fair than you have another thing coming for you," I said.
"But they're late," a third student yelled.
"Professor Hera would you mind pulling up the feed that shows the fight," I asked.
"Right away sir," she answers.
The projecter drones whired to life as a projection of Flynt, Neon, Whitley, and Ilia's fight with the Grimm was shown.
(I'll come up with a name later)
I watched the faces of the new students changed from outrage to horror at the site of the massive turtle like Grimm.
"I fully understand that some of you believe this has something to do with Whitley being a Schnee, but it isn't, those four faced a Grimm that gives some hunters problems without a second thought," I said as the projecters showed Whitley charging headlong at the massive Grimm, "It isn't just how impressive their victory over the Grimm that has brought me to this conclusion, it is how seamlessly they work together."
The projection showed Flynt giving Ilia and Neon their orders as they ran toward and behind the Grimm.
"I know this is unfair, but you all must keep in mind my job as your headmaster is to bring the greatest of you to your highest and the worst of you to your greatest, and this is a group that is striving on their own to be their greatest selves," I said.
The sound of the main doors opening filled my ears as the four students I had just been talking about ran into the auditorium.
"Sorry sir, we know we're late," Flynt and Whitley said nearly simultaneously.
The two looked at each other before laughing.
"I was just explaining way you four were still going to be accepted," I said.
"Sweeeeet," Neon said as she leaned forward with her hands in her knees trying to catch her breath.
Looking at the four I noticed that all of them but Whitley were having trouble catching their breath.
"Well get up here, now," I ordered after glancing at my watch and seeing just how behind we really were.
The four jogged up to the stage and stood next to one another; in order, somehow.
"Well Flynt, why are you four late," I asked.
"Well we ran into a very... interesting Grimm," he answered.
"We saw," I said.
"Well then we figured that killing one bug Grimm wasn't really enough, so instead of heading straight back to the academy we took a detour to try and find more Grimm," he said.
"Well then, let's get on with this," I said, as I took my place in the stage, "Flynt Coal, Neon Katt, Whitley Chornyy Schnee, and Ilia Amitola, from this day forward, you four will be known as team Fancy, led by Flynt Coal," I said.
"Yay," Neon said.
"Can we go to bed now," Whitley asked.
"Yes, yes, you are all dismissed," I said.
'Most definitely doing to be an interesting year'

POV - Neon
"I'm so tired," I said.
"Trust me, we can see it," Whitley said.
"Is that sarcasm Schnee," I asked.
He walked up and threw his arm over my shoulder and pulled me into his side.
"Nope, just teasing," he answered.
"Oum your cold," I said.
"What," he asked.
"Like your actually really cold," I answered.
"Oh... sorry," he said as he moved his arm and stepped back.
"No it's fine, is that normal," I asked.
"Kind of," he answered as he jumped onto the bed he had pushed into the corner.
"Ok," I said as I crawled into the bed next to his.
"Oum I have so many questions," Ilia said.
"About what," I asked.
"Mostly about how a Schnee is so... chill," she answered.
"That's actually a really good question," Flynt said.
"Well, you've done nothing to wrong me personally right," Whitley said.
"No," I said.
"Yes," Ilia said.
"What," I asked.
"Figured I should get this out of the way now," Ilia said as she walked over to her bag.
"Get what out of the way," Flynt asked.
Ilia reached into her bag and pulled something out of it that I had not been expecting... a White Fang mask.
"What the fuck," I said as I rushed to grab my weapon before being stopped my Whitley.
"Explain," Whitley commanded in a voice that promised pain.
"I'm hear as on an agreement between General James Ironwood and Mrs. Khan to investigate the Valean branch of the White Fang," she explained.
"You seem pretty far from Vale," Flynt said as he relaxed.
"I couldn't apply to Beacon," she said.
"Why not," Whitley asked as he seemed to calm down.
"To late, and Headmaster Ozpin wanted nothing to do with Mrs. Khan's proposition," she answered.
"What was the proposition," I asked.
"That we would be calvary for Vale if they ever ran into a problem that overwhelmed the Hunters from the Academy," she answered.
"And in return," I asked.
"He would have to help us deal with the root of the racism in Vale," she answered.
"What's the root," Flynt asked.
"It's a pro-human organization called the Poachers," she answered.
"I've heard of them," I said.
"Then what are you going to do here," Flynt asked.
"Jacques," Whitley answered.
"Yeah," she said.
"You say that like you don't care about him," Flynt said.
"I Don't," Whitley said firmly.
"Oh," Flynt said.
"He has done nothing but tarnish my families name since he married into it," Whitley said.
"I never expected one of you to say that," I said.
"You wont have to worry about the SDC for much longer with the White Death in town," he said.
"Oh," I said, " Does that mean you like the White Death?"
"Something like that sure," Whitley answered.
"I see," I said.
"Alright, it's getting late, we should really get to bed," Flynt said.
"Yup," Ilia said as she dived into the bed next to me.
"We need to be up by 5 if we all want to shower and eat, if we wake up earlier we could go around and figure out where all of our classes are," Flynt said.
"I say we wake up earlier," I said.
"I second that," Ilia said.
"I third that," Whitley mumbled.
"Well then, I'll set an alarm for 4, now, let's get some sleep," Flynt said.
(Time Skip brought to you in part by Sienna's Saunas, why work to loss the weight)
"Neon... Neon... she still... WAKE THE FUCK UP"
I leaped out of bed and went to punch the nearest thing, but my fist was stopped as someone grabbed my wrist.
"Morning partner," Whitley said.
I opened my eyes to see Whitley standing in front of my fist with this hand squeezing my wrist.
"It's time to get up," Flynt said as he fixed his blazer.
"Slept through the alarm, Flynt said to let you sleep a little longer, we did," Whitley said.
"And now I need to get moving," I mumbled.
"Yes," Whitley said.
"Fine," I mumbled as I crawled out of bed.
'I hate mornings'
I made my way into the bath and looked at my reflection.
'Oum my hair is a mess'
(Time Skip Cause No)
"Ok so our first class is Dust Study," Flynt said as we walked down a hallway dotted with statues and other students who woke up at this ungodly hour.
"Who's our teacher," Whitley asked.
"Professor Hera," Flynt answered, "Her teaching the class has something to do with her semblance."
"Dust control," Ilia asked
"Something like that probably," Flynt answered.
"What's next," I asked.
"Grimm Study with Professor Zeus," Flynt answered.
"I've heard good things about him," Whitley said.
"Like what," I asked.
"Worked with the White Death when a breach opened in the Mantel wall, stood his ground to defend a city when the rest of his team was injured, and as a good reputation in the other continents," Whitley answered.
"Wait, what about the White Death," Flynt asked.
"Last year a horde of grimm managed to breach the Mantel wall; the White Death was on the scene immediately, and Zeus showed up moments later and worked with the White Death to give the Atlas Military time to fix the breach," Whitley answered.
"Cool," Ilia said.
"After that we have History with Professor Chronos," Flynt said.
"Hehehe," Whitley chuckled.
"What's so funny," I asked.
"Chronos is the name of a god praised by a long gone civilization, he was the god of time," Whitley answered.
"I... I don't get it," I said.
"He teaches history, the god controlled time," Whitley said.
"Ohhhhhh," I said.
"Yes," Whitley said.
"Ok, next is Team Building with Professor Gaia," Flynt said.
"Wait, we have a class for that," Ilia asked.
"Apparently," Flynt answered.
"What do we do," Ilia asked.
"It says that we will work together to learn more about one another," Flynt answered.
"That was a dumb question wasn't it," Ilia asked.
"There is no such thing as a dumb question," Whitley said.
"Lastly we have Combat Class with Professor Häyhä," Flynt said.
"That's going to be interesting," Whitley said.
"Why," Ilia asked.
"You'll see," Whitley said.
