And here's the first Paragon from the Mass Effect universe, Garrus Vakarian! In the dossier that the Shadow Broker has on Garrus, here's a little something that stuck with me: "Leadership potential overshadowed by Shepard. Unlikely to fully develop under Shepard's command."

I like the idea after the Reapers are defeated, Garrus is able to fully develop his leadership potential, becoming a second Shepard in the post-Reaper era. Whichever of the three endings you choose, you can be sure that Shepard isn't going to available in their old role as a squad leader. That'll be Garrus' time to shine.

Renowned Paragon: Garrus Vakarian

Class: General

Veteran Class: Invader (As a soldier, Garrus is aggressive and prefers to be on the attack)

Destiny Trait: Supreme Warrior (Garrus is an amazing soldier and his marksmanship skills are almost second to none)

Positive Traits: Interrogator (As a former Citadel Security officer, Garrus has extensive knowledge on interrogation techniques), Resilient (As a former soldier, C-Sec officer, vigilante, and commander, Garrus is in excellent physical condition), Eager (Garrus has a lot of initiative and drive)

Negative Trait: Stubborn (Turians tend to be stubborn, and this is one of the Turian traits that Garrus holds to)

Ethic: Militarist (Turian culture is heavily militarist)

Age: 50

Summary: A highly-skilled Turian operative that aided in the defeat of a Crisis-level enemy. Once a part of a team of special individuals under the leadership of one Commander Shepard, he now seeks to explore and expand his own capabilities as a leader.

Thoughts? With all the interesting characters we see in the Mass Effect games, I'm probably going to make a lot of them Stellaris Paragons.

When it comes to space operas, I think I prefer Mass Effect over Star Wars or Star Trek. I don't care that in Star Wars, thousands of years of stagnation took place prior to the events in the movies, and afterwards, going off of Legends (which is Canon as far as I'm concerned), there's a period of massive instability with galactic government after galactic government coming and going, again and again. And I don't care for how utopian Star Trek is. Humanity has lost its teeth in that one. That leaves Mass Effect for me.
