I decided to have Liara as a Stellaris Paragon the same time that I decided to do Garrus. I love Mass Effect, and I like that so many of its characters can be reimagined as Stellaris Paragons. I just have to sit down and figure out what their classes, traits, and ethics are.
Renowned Paragon: Liara T'Soni
Class: Scientist
Veteran Class: Explorer (there's no better method for finding new dig sites than going out and finding them)
Destiny Trait: Frontier Adventurer (Liara's main focus would always be to look out for new archaeological sites)
Positive Traits: Insightful (Liara is good at taking the data she finds, recognizing patterns, and coming to conclusions that other wouldn't), Archeologist (Liara's defining trait), Custom AI Assistant (Glyph has been modified for data processing and to better function as an assistant), Psychic (Well, Biotic, but close enough)
Negative Trait: Reclusive (Liara isn't good with people and prefers to work alone or with close friends)
Ethic: Spiritualist (Asari culture is heavily influenced by their old goddess, Athame; "By the Goddess!")
Age: 116
Summary: A prodigy who specializes in the study of long-gone civilizations. After a mysterious hiatus from her archaeological studies during a Crisis, she has returned to her old occupation, now accompanied by an AI assistant, "Glyph".
Thoughts? Most fanfiction depictions of Liara show her continuing her work as the Shadow Broker after the Reapers are dealt with. Liara going back to her archeological studies sounds nice to me, like she's returning to what she loves doing. That, and in Stellaris, only Generals can have the "Shadow Broker" trait. As a Stellaris Paragon, Liara doesn't strike me as a General; she's a Scientist through and through.
