Vader led Padme to a yellow speeder. He quickly opened the passenger side door. He watched as Padme silently entered the vehicle and placed her suitcase by her feet. Padme expected Vader to close the door immediately. but he didn't. "You must use your safety belt." he said authoritatively Padme turned her face away from him,, she found the belt, and strapped herself in. She heard the door close, and within moments Vader was strapped into the driver's side.
Padme screamed seconds later as she felt Vader lift the speeder into the sky. It felt to her like they were traveling faster than light. She gripped her seat tightly. She watched as Vader flew past all of the other vehicles in the sky. "Slow down! Please!" Padme screamed.
"You're safe Padme! Do not fear"! He yelled back so that he could be heard over the noise caused by the speed of the vehicle.
"Do you know how fast you're flying?" Padme yelled back. She gripped her seat even tighter. She could feel her nails digging into it's material. She was glad she hadn't eaten much. Vader sped up, and Padme felt her empty stomach do a flip flop. "Did you just do a flip?"
"You have nothing to worry about. I am the best pilot in this galaxy, and any other. We will be arriving at our destination very shortly." He said flying faster. Padme had many comebacks and questions for Vader spinning around in her head. but she kept her mouth shut. Her eyes suddenly felt very heavy. she wanted nothing more in that instant than to close them, but she forced them to stay wide open. 5 minutes later she jumped at the sound of Vader's voice.
"We are here." He said.
Padme blinked, and her eyes slowly focused on a large white skinny building.. Vader drove forward, right in front of them was a garage. He opened the door with the press of a button, and quickly placed the speeder inside. He exited the vehicle, and in seconds he was opening the passenger side door. Within moments Vader was leading Padme to the turbolift. They rode up to the second floor, when the doors opened Padme sprinted out. Hurt,and frustration washed over Vader, he despised the fact that she was terrified of him. He took a deep breath, and let understanding replace those feelings. She didn't know him.
He slowly walked out of the turbolift and stood next to her. Her eyes were wide with surprise, he could tell that this was the biggest room she had ever seen ,and it was only the entrance room, "This is my home Padme, and now it's yours." Vader said, he watched her still processing the size of the room. It had white walls and white marble floors. "I shall give you a tour." He said, walking straight ahead to the sitting room. Padme slowly followed him. Except for a black couch, and a viewing screen across from it, on the wall, it looked identical to the entrance. After a while, Vader guided Padme to the second floor which held 18 bedrooms, and Vader let her see 3 empty bedrooms on the floor. They were all gray, and identical."This floor is for the servants.:'' Vader continued walking until he arrived at the turbolift, he felt Padme's presence behind him. She was exhausted. She followed him into the turbolift. He pressed a button in order to reach the third floor. He led Padme straight ahead to the only room on the floor.
Vader walled up to the room, and opened the white double doors. "Come in." He said gently. He moved to the side, giving Padme plenty of space to enter the room. After a few seconds, she moved into the room. Vader watched her, but did not follow her. Padme was shocked to find this room was different. It had lilac walls, the floor was a light brown wood color, but it was a material softer than wood. She walked over to a king-size bed, covered by lilac pillows, and a lilac comforter with white flowers. Padme's eyes soon focused on the large light wood colored wardrobe. She then looked to her right, and saw another door. She walked over to it, opened it, and walked inside. It was a refresher with light yellow walls, and a white floor. Straight ahead was a sink, next to that was a matching toilet. Feet away was a big tube, and feet away from that was a shower. She walked out of the refresher to see that Vader had entered the bedroom. She felt her body tense and freeze. "You should rest Milady. It has been an eventful day. I will come to get you for dinner in 3 hours. You can see the rest of the house tomorrow." Vader said, keeping his voice soft.
"Thank-you" Padme managed to whisper. Vader nodded. He turned left the bedroom, and closed the doors.
