Chapter 2 – Kanae's counseling
Kanae Kocho, the biology teacher, is one of the most beloved teachers at the Academy. All students know, that if they would need help with something, Kanae was the first person to go to. On top of that, Kanae loved spending time with her students and helping them, so she decided to start giving counseling sessions to every student that asked her for help.
Her counseling includes everything from friendship advice, to school advice, and even some love advice! This resulted in her getting bombarded with all kinds of different requests.
Today, she got two requests and was waiting for her students. As she was sitting at her table in the teachers' room, she pulled out a piece of paper and read the requests one more time.
"Let's see… The first one is a couple that needs some relationship advice, and the second request is from someone that needs help with their biology assignment…"
As she was reading her notes, the art teacher, Tengen Uzui, noticed her on his way home.
"Hey Kanae! Wanna head home together?" he asked
Kanae looked up and smiled at him.
"Ah, Uzui Sensei! I am sorry, I can't! I still have some counseling to do!" she replied with a smile
"Oh yeah… that. You're pretty popular with the students, so they want to hear your advice…" Uzui replied and thought about it
Hearing that, Kanae laughed and smiled.
"Yes! Today, I help a couple and then I help someone with their biology project!" she replied
Hearing that, Uzui got an idea.
"Hey, do you mind if I stayed and listed for a bit? I would like to know what all the fuss is about." Uzui asked
"Sure! As long as you don't interrupt us, I don't mind!" Kanae replied and looked at the time
"Oh, it's almost time!" she added and got up

Outside the teachers' room, two students were waiting.
"This is a waste of time…" said the girl, to which the guy next to her looked at her
"We could have just asked her during class." she added and waited for his response
"Hahaha… yes, but… I don't think it would be appropriate to ask her during her lesson…" he replied and laughed awkwardly
The two were Murata, and his classmate, Ayaki. Ayaki was a girl with white skin, white hair and two pigtails. She was the older sister of one of the most famous people at the academy, Rui Ayaki.
The two have been assigned a biology project together, but had no idea what to do, so Murata thought about asking Kanae Sensei for help. Ayaki agreed, even thought she thought that it would be better asking her during her lessons, and not after school.
As the two were waiting, the door suddenly opened and Kanae walked out.
"Oh, hello! Are you two here to see me?" she asked
"Hello! Yes! We need some advice from you!" Murata replied and got up
"Hello." said Ayaki and also got up
"No problem at all! I love giving advice! Anyway, come on in!" Kanae moved to the side and allowed the two to enter
The two walked in and Kanae looked around, making sure nobody else was waiting for her. After checking that nobody was outside the teachers' room, she followed the two and closed the door behind her. Unbeknownst to her, after she closed the door, two other students arrived.
"Don't worry Hakuji! I am sure that Kanae Sensei will help us!" said the girl
"I don't think we need relationship advice… but if it will make you feel better, then I don't mind." the guy replied and smiled
The two were Koyuki and Hakuji, the most famous couple at the academy. Currently, they were seeking some relationship advice and decided to ask Kanae Sensei for help…

Inside the teachers' room, Murata and Ayaki followed Kanae to her desk.
"Yo!" said Uzui as he saw the two
"Hello." Murata replied with a smile
"Hey." Ayaki replied
As the two noticed Uzui, Kanae suddenly turned around and faced them.
"Oh! Uzui Sensei is here too! I hope you don't mind." she said
Both of them looked at her confused.
"Ehm… I don't mind…" said Murata and glanced at Ayaki
"It's fine?" Ayaki said confused and glanced at Uzui
"Why would it be a problem for him to be here?" she thought to herself
Kanae sat down at her table and turned her chair towards the two. She pointed at the two chairs in front of them.
"Please! Sit down and let's talk!" she said with a big smile
"Thank you." both of them replied and sat down
As the three were now sitting, Kanae spoke up.
"So! Let's begin!" she said with a big smile
"Yeah… we're here because we have some questions, and we need your help!" said Murata, talking about their biology project
"That's great! But first, please tell me about yourselves!" Kanae replied
Both Murata and Ayaki glanced at each other confused.
"About ourselves? What is the point of that?" Ayaki asked
"Because I need to know about you two, so I could give you some advice about being a couple!" Kanae replied with a big smile
"…"
"…"
"…"
"…"
Both of them just stared at her, speechless.
"What." Ayaki mumbled, while Murata just blinked a few times
"Look, I know that you're having trouble as a couple, so I am here to help you!" Kanae added
Both Ayaki and Murata stared at Kanae with a confused expression.
"Every couple has troubles sometimes, but I am sure that I can help you!" Kanae reassured the two
"…"
"…"
"W-W-W-Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat…?" Murata mumbled confused and frantically looked around himself, trying to find an explanation about what was going on
"Y-YOU GOT THIS WRONG! W-W-W-WE'RE NOT A COUPLE! WE'RE HERE BECAUSE-" as Murata was panicking, Kanae cut him off
"You won't solve your problems if you deny them!" said Kanae
"WE'RE NOT A COUPLE! WHAT THE HELL?!" Ayaki yelled while blushing
"As I said, you won't solve your problems if you deny them!" Kanae repeated herself and smiled
This was Kanae's weakness. She was great at giving advice, but really bad at listening. As the two were trying to clear things up, Uzui just watched from the side. Murata noticed him, and asked him for help.
"MISTER UZUI! PLEASE HELP US! THIS IS A BIG MISUNDERSTANDING!" he panicked
Uzui just stared at him with a blank expression.
"…"
"…"
"… Ha… Haha… Hahaha… HAHAHA… HAHAHAHAHAHA… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA!" Uzui started laughing uncontrollably and pointed a finger at the two
Murata looked at him shocked, Ayaki embarrassed and Kanae confused.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" he continued laughing, because he knew exactly what was going on
"HOLY CRAP! SHE HAS MISTAKEN HER STUDENTS AND NOW SHE THINKS THAT THESE TWO ARE A COUPLE! THIS IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!" he thought to himself as he continued laughing
"Mister Uzui! Please, don't disturb us!" said Kanae, as she heard him laughing
"HAHAHAha… haha… ha… s-sorry…" he stopped laughing and wiped a tear from his eye
Murata and Ayaki were still looking at him, waiting for his next action.
"Alright you two lovebirds! Have fun!" he said with a mocking smile and a thumbs up
"ARGH!" both Murata and Ayaki cursed as they heard him
"THAT BASTARD! HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT'S GOING ON!" Ayaki thought to herself as she clenched her fist
"THAT IDIOT! HE IS DOING THIS ON PURPOSE!" Murata thought to himself
As the two were cursing, Kanae spoke up.
"I think we should start! There are other people that need my advice!"
Murata looked at her and tried to explain the situation again.
"Please! Listen! You got it wrong!"
"If you won't listen to us, then we're going!" Ayaki added, visible angry and ready to leave
Kanae took a deep breath and replied.
"Look… I am sure that if we talk, we can figure this out! But if you leave now, then that would mean that you have wasted my time on purpose. And if that was the case, then I am sorry…. but it would mean detention, for both of you." Kanae said with a sad voice
Both Murata and Ayaki were speechless. The two glanced at each other and then back at Kanae.
"I am sorry…" Murata mumbled to Ayaki, as she sat down again
"This is all your fault…" Ayaki replied and glanced at him with a murderous expression
As the realized that there was no way to get away from this, they finally decided to play along.
"Alright! Let's begin!" Kanae said with a big smile
"You should have come to me for relationship advice!" Uzui said from the side with a mocking smile
"SHUT UP!" both of them yelled at him
"Uzui Sensei!" Kanae said with a little bit of anger in her voice
"Sorry!" Uzui replied, but still smiled
Kanae faced the two again and spoke up.
"So, Murata and…?" she asked as she looked at the sister
"AYAKI…" Ayaki replied
"Ok, Ayaki! I know your brother, Rui!" Kanae replied
"GREAT…" Ayaki replied and nodded, to which Kanae smiled
Kanae looked at Murata and asked her first question.
"Murata! What do you like about Ayaki?" she asked
"WHAT?!" both Murata and Ayaki gasped embarrassed
Murata glanced at Ayaki, who was trying to hide her blush and anger. He then glanced back at Kanae and gulped. He knew that there was no escape, so he had to play along.
"W-Well… she is a… pretty… GULP* girl…" he said, to which Ayaki tried to hide her face even more
"AWWW… SOOO CUTE!" Kanae replied and looked at Ayaki
"And what do you like about Murata?" she asked, to which Murata covered his face with his hands
"…" Ayaki didn't say anything, just stared at Kanae with a murderous expression
She glanced at Murata, who was covering his face, and then back at Kanae.
"HE DOESN'T GO ON MY NERVES AS THE OTHER GUYS. AND… HE HAS A VERY PUNCHABLE FACE…" she said, still with anger in voice
Hearing the two, Kanae smiled and nodded.
"Alright! From what I heard, you two are a perfect couple!" she said, to which both of them stared at her, mortified
"Now, before you tell me about your problems, you need to deepen your bond. Please hold your hands now!" Kanae added
"WHAT?!" both of the gasped surprised as they heard that
"Go for it, man! You won't get another chance! HAHAHA" Uzui said from the side again
"SHUT UP!" Murata yelled back at him and panicked
Uzui laughed again and continued watching. The two were panicking and didn't know what to do. Murata was frantically looking at Kanae, Ayaki, and her hand, not knowing what to do, while at the same time, Ayaki just stared at Kanae, still with a murderous expression.
Kanae just smiled and waited for the two to finally hold hands. Ayaki knew that, so she glanced at Murata and slowly reached out her hand.
Murata gulped and with a mortified look, he slowly took her hand.
"I am so sorry…" he said in a mortified voice
"You will pay for this…" Ayaki replied and looked away embarrassed, while they were holding hands
Kanae then wanted to proceed.
"Alright! Now I want you to-"
"WAIT! I THINK YOU ALREADY SOLVED OUR PROBLEMS! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" Ayaki interrupted her and tried to talk her wait out of this situation
"Hm? Really? That is great!" Kanae replied with a big smile
"YES, I THINK IT'S TIME FOR US TO GO! COME ON!" she said as she got up and dragged Murata behind her
"H-HUH? Y-Yes! Our problems are solved! Thank you so much, Kanae Sensei!" Murata added and walked behind Ayaki, trying to get out of this situation
"No problem! Thank you for coming!" Kanae replied and waved at them
"Once you get to the next stage, come to me for advice!" Uzui said from the side again as he waved at them with a cocky smile
"I AM GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS YOU STUPID-BASTARD-TEACHER!" Ayaki yelled at him as she was leaving

After the two left, Hakuji and Koyuki walked in.
"Hello! We need your advice, Kanae Sensei!" said Koyuki
"Ah, yes! You two are here for your biology project, right?" Kanae replied
"Oh, no! Hahaha! We're here for relationship advice!" Koyuki replied with a smile
"…huh?" Kanae replied confused
Seeing her confused face, Hakuji spoke up.
"Is something wrong?" he asked
As the three were talking, Uzui started laughing again.
"…haha… HAHAHA… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA!"
All three looked at him confused.
"Why is he… laughing?" Hakuji asked
"I don't know…" Kanae replied and shook her head, utterly clueless
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA!" Uzui continued laughing, without any signs of stopping anytime soon

OUTSIDE THE TEACHERS' ROOM:
"I am so… so… sorry…" Murata said with a mortified voice
"You will be… once I am finished with you…" Ayaki replied as she clenched her fists, ready to make Murata pay for his stupid idea…
