Chapter 7 – The combined PE lesson
It was another morning at the Kimetsu Academy, and inside the teachers' room, the teachers were preparing for the day.
"Morning… COUGH* COUGH*" said Tomioka as he entered the teachers' room
"Good morning! Oh! Tomioka Sensei, you look horrible!" said Kanae as she saw Tomioka enter
"It's nothing… just a small cold… COUGH* COUGH*" he replied and walked to his desk
"YOU IDIOT!" screamed Sanemi, the math teacher, who was sitting at his table
"Hmm?" Tomioka turned around and looked at him
"Are you stupid? Just look at you! You're barely conscious! Why the hell are you here if you're sick?!" Sanemi screamed again
"Shut up… It's just as I said… a small cold… COUGH*" Tomioka replied
"LIKE HELL!" Sanemi replied
Hearing the two, Kanae got up from her table and walked over to Tomioka.
"Tomioka Sensei! Sanemi Sensei is right! You should go home and rest!" said Kanae
"I can't… today I have a PE lesson…" Tomioka replied
"Oh! That's not a problem! How about I take care of it for you, while you go home and rest?" Kanae asked with a smile
"Hmm? What?" Tomioka asked surprised
"Did you forget that besides Biology, I also have PE lessons with the girls? I could have a combined PE lesson today, with both guys and girls! That could be fun!" Kanae explained
Hearing her explanation, Tomioka thought about it.
"Well… it's true that you're also a PE teacher… but won't it be too hard? You would have twice the amount of students…" Tomioka replied
"Don't worry about me! I will be fine! Just go home and rest!" Kanae replied
Tomioka took a deep breath and thought about it.
"Alright… but just this once… COUGH*…"
"Yes! Now, go home, make some tea, and rest!" she replied
"AND DON'T COME HERE WHEN YOU'RE SICK! DUMBASS!" Sanemi yelled

Sometime later, it was PE time, and Tomioka's and Kanae's classes gathered at the school field.
"Tomioka Sensei is sick today, so we're joined with Kanae's class today!" said Tanjiro
"HELL YEAH!" Zenitsu said with a big smile
"Hm? Zenitsu, why are you so happy?" Tanjiro asked
"ARE YOU STUPID?! THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER! WE HAVE P.E. WITH THE GIRLS!" Zenitsu screamed
As everyone was talking, Kanae spoke up.
"Yes! Hello everyone! As you might have heard, Tomioka Sensei is sick, so we will have a combined P.E. lesson today!" Kanae explained
"YEAAAA!" most of the guys screamed
"Ughhhh…" all the girls mumbled
"Hahaha! So, let's begin! Please form pairs with every pair being a boy and a girl! We're going to start with some exercises!" said Kanae, to which everyone started forming pairs
"Looks like we can't be together, Zenitsu…" said Tanjiro
"YEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYE… WHERE IS NEZUKO?! NEZUKOOOOO?! NEZUKOOOO!" Zenitsu replied and started frantically looking around
Tanjiro smiled and looked around, also trying to find someone to pair up with.
"Ah! Kanao! Do you have a pair?" Tanjiro asked as he saw Kanao standing alone
"Ehm… no. We can pair up if you want." Kanao replied
Zenitsu in the meantime was desperately searching for Nezuko.
"NEZUKO?! NEZUKO?! Damn it! Where is she?!" he cursed as he was searching for her
As he was searching, he suddenly heard her voice.
"AH! Nezuko!" he said with a big smile as he spotted her
Nezuko heard her name and turned around.
"Zenitsu!" she said with a smile
"Nezuko! Let's be a pair!" said Zenitsu as he happily walked over to her
"Oh, sorry! I already paired up!" she replied
"UGHHGHGGMMMAHHHHHHHHHHHH!?" Zenitsu mumbled and screamed as he heard those words, while he fell to his knees and his heart exploded
"Hahaha! I am sorry!" Nezuko laughed as she found the noises he made funny
Defeated and on his knees, Zenitsu was speechless.
"W-Who is it…" he mumbled
"This guy!" Nezuko replied and pointed at the guy standing next to her
"W-Why are you pointing at me? Huh?" the guy asked and glanced at Zenitsu as he noticed him
"…huh…" Zenitsu mumbled
"…"
"…"
"This is Kaigaku! Even thought he looks a bit scary, he is a really friendly guy!" Nezuko said with a big smile
"Y-You…?" Zenitsu mumbled
Seeing Zenitsu defeated, Kaigaku glanced at Nezuko and then back at Zenitsu… with a cocky smile.
"ARGRGRHRGRHRGHRH!?" Zenitsu screamed again as he saw his smile
"Hahahaha! Those sounds you make are funny! Let's be a pair next time, Zenitsu!" said Nezuko
"Ughhmmmmm… o-ok… s-sure…" Zenitsu mumbled and walked away

At the same time, other people were also searching for someone to pair up with. One of them was Murata.
"Hmmm… looks like every girl is paired up now… are the boys and girls not even?" he mumbled as he tried to find someone to pair up with
Seeing him wander around, Kanae walked up to him.
"What's wrong?" she asked with a smile
"Oh, Kanae Sensei! It looks like everybody has already found someone to a pair up with…" he explained
"Hahaha! What are you talking about? Here is someone you can pair up with!" she said with a smile and pointed behind him
"Really? Who?!" he asked happily as he turned around
"…"
"…"
"…huh." he mumbled confused as he saw the girl standing behind him
"NO." said Ayaki, Rui's older sister, as she looked at him with a murderous expression
Blinking a few times, Murata turned around and faced Kanae again, but it was too late. She already went to help others.
"…ehm…" he continued mumbling
Seeing no way to get out of this situation, Murata faced her again.
"I am sorry… Let's pair up… Ayaki…" he said mortified
"Why should I pair up with you?!" she asked, with anger in her voice
"I am sorry for what happened last time… but let's just forget about that." said Murata
"GRRRRRR" she grinded her teeth as she heard him mention that
"I am sorry… really…" Murata repeated himself and looked down
Looking at him and then around, Ayaki saw that nobody was left, so she was forced to pair up with him.
"Whatever! If you touch me, then I will bite you!" she replied and crossed her arms
"G-Got it…" Murata mumbled

As everyone was finding someone to pair up with, Zenitsu was still alone.
"N-No problem! I just find a different girl to pair up with! I can't always be with Nezuko!" he said as he fought his tears and looked around
"Oh no…" said a girl from behind him
Turning around, Zenitsu saw a familiar face… looking at him with disgust.
"Huh…?" he mumbled
"I DON'T WANT TO BE A PAIR WITH YOU, UGLY BOY!" said the girl and crossed her arms
"The Shabana girl…?" Zenitsu mumbled and blinked a few times as he saw Ume Shabana, standing behind him
"TEACH! I DON'T WANT TO PAIR UP WITH HIM! HE SUCKS!" Ume screamed and pointed at Zenitsu
"Be nice to your classmates, Ume!" Kanae said with a big smile
"BUT I DON'T WANNA! WAHH!" Ume screamed like a little girl
Zenitsu blinked a few times, and a devilish smile formed on his face.
"Hihihi… this is going to be fun…" he said as he thought about all the stuff he was going to do to her
"Waaahh… I am warning you! If you touch me, then I will tell my brother!" she said as she was pointing at him

"Alright! Every pair, please take one jump rope! After that, the girl in the pair is going to jump over it for one minute, while the guy counts how many times she jumped over it!" Kanae explained and pointed at a box with jump ropes
Hearing that, every pair took one.
"I go get one!" said Murata
"Hmmm…" mumbled Ayaki, still angry at the situation
Murata went to get one jump rope, while Ayaki waited. As she waited, she noticed a few girls glancing at her and smiling.
"W-WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT?! HUH?!" she yelled and blushed, to which a few girls giggled
"GRRRRR!"
After a few seconds, Murata returned.
"Got one! Here! Hmmm…? Did something happe-" said Murata
"NO! GIVE IT HERE!" Ayaki snatched the jump rope from Murata
"Eh… s-sure…" Murata replied
Ayaki grabbed the jump rope and was about to start.
"I am ready to count. You can start whenever." said Murata and nodded
"I know." replied Ayaki and took a deep breath

Murata counted in his head as she began jumping. As she was jumping, Murata was taken by surprise how well she was doing.
"15, 16, 17… wow she is pretty good… 24, 25, 26… I never thought her to be the sporty type… Haha… her cheeks are getting red…" Murata thought to himself and smiled
"W-Wait… her face… she has white skin and seeing her getting red is kinda… cute…?" Murata thought to himself
"ALRIGHT! A minute is up!" said Kanae and everyone stopped jumping
"H-HUH?!" Murata mumbled and glanced at Kanae
"HUFF* How many did I do? HUFF*" Ayaki asked as she tried to catch her breath
"…" Murata didn't say anything, instead he just blinked a few times
"Hm? Hey! How many did I do?" Ayaki asked again
"Crap… I got distracted and forgot to count…" Murata thought to himself
"W-W-Well… you did 60! Good job!" he said with an awkward smile
"60…?" Ayaki asked
"Yes!"
Ayaki looked at him with an angry expression.
"I did… 1 per second?" she asked again
Hearing that, Murata blinked again, as he realized that the random number he said was way too low, because she jumped way faster than 1 per second.
"AGAIN. How many… did I do? Or did you… not count?" Ayaki asked now with a murderous expression
Murata didn't know what to say, so he just put his hands up and started mumbling.
"I-I-I-I-I WAS COUNTING! Really! I was counting! But then I was amazed by your speed! So I counted faster! But then I noticed your red face and how cute it was and-" Murata mumbled, and then he realized what he just said

"What." Ayaki mumbled as her eye twitched
"NONONONONONNOONO! YOU GOT IT WRONG! I WASN'T LOOKING AT YOUR CUTE FACE! NOT THAT YOU'RE NOT CUTE! YOU ARE REALLY CUTE! AND I… I…" Murata was panicking, but all hope was lost
Ayaki dropped the jump rope and started clenching her fists again, the same way she did after she and Murata left the teachers' room the day they visited Kanae.
"You're dead." Ayaki said with a cold voice, as she slowly walked closer to Murata, who was waiting for his upcoming doom…

After the short jumping rope exercise, Kanae went onto the next exercise.
"Alright guys! Next up are sit-ups! Boys, please stand on the girls' feet while they do sit-ups and count how many they do in one minute!" said Kanae
Hearing that, Ume glanced at Zenitsu.
"Don't you dare get my shoes dirty!" she said
"Shut up. My shoes are clean!" he replied
"Whatever! Start counting!" Ume added and sat down, while Zenitsu stepped on her feet
After the two were set, Ume started doing sit-ups. Seeing her on the ground on her butt, Zenitsu smiled as he counted.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THAT FACE?!" Ume yelled as she noticed his grin
"Nothing… continue… haha…" Zenitsu said with a devilish smile
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…!" Ume bit her lip and continued
As she continued, she tried to ignore him, but noticed Zenitsu's eyes.
"H-Huh?!" she gasped
"What is it? Tired already, hm?" Zenitsu asked mockingly
"WHERE WERE YOU LOOKING JUST NOW?!" Ume yelled
"Hm? I have no idea what you're talking about… hihihi…" Zenitsu laughed
Hearing his stupid laugh and looking down, Ume noticed something.
Something… awful…

Her shorts slipped a bit, revealing partly her panties.
"So, you like the color white?" Zenitsu asked with a grin
It took Ume a few seconds to process the situation.
"Hah… ha… HHUHUHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAA!" Ume screamed and pulled her shorts back up
"Hahaha. Don't worry girl, I won't tell anyon- UGGHHH!" Zenitsu screamed as a fist hit his stomach
"DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Ume screamed as she continued beating Zenitsu, hoping for him to die…

Later that day, in the teachers' room, Kanae was writing a report for the day.
"Today, Tomioka Sensei was sick, which resulted in me taking over his PE class. Both girls and boys had PE together today, and it was a complete success! At the end of the day, only 2 boys were injured, which is a way lower number than the previous joined PE class!"
"Aaaand done! This was so much fun today! I hope we get more classes like this in the future!" said Kanae as she finished writing her report…
