Reiko felt weightless as he stepped through the spinning portal. The world disappeared in a flash, and as soon as it disappeared the world reappeared in an instant. He was standing in Earthrealm, and he wasn't alone. The prince Rain, and the beast Kintaro stepped through after him, and instantly thousands of Tarkatan, Shokan, and Centaurs followed. They had arrived on the the opposite side of the bridge, facing Raiden's forces. Reiko saw their numbers, their flying helicopters, and massive tanks. He was impressed by the sights. Rain however saw their force as a mockery.

"Their world is about to end, and this is all they could muster?" He spat towards Reiko.

Reiko had wished Kotal had stepped through the portal alongside himself rather than this fool, but though Kotal had awakened from his coma, he was in no condition to be here. Kotal had been sent to guard Kitana's cell in some distant camp.

"Do not underestimate them Rain." Reiko commanded as their forces aligned themselves into positions. Another earth shaking, spinning portal opened at the edge of another bridge. Daegon, Mavado, and the rest of the Red Dragon had climbed out, and stood ready to attack the forces on the other end of that bridge. Reiko watched as Kintaro rallied the Shokan forces with a roar of intensity that they matched a thousand fold. Rain attempted to do tha same with the Tarkatans that he had been given command of, but they ignored his attempts to speak. They had shown Kotal more respect than that, and whether that was out their own jealousy of Rain, and Mileena's relationship, or if Kotal had actually grown on them it didn't matter. Rain did not have the full support of his subordinates. Reiko turned to face his entire army.

"These Earthrealm dogs have evaded our combined strength for too long!" Reiko began. "Tonight we will show them why we are the most feared army in the entire universe! We will prove to these pathetic mortals that we are the most dominate force the world has ever known! We fight for Shao Kahn, and together all of us will take this world, and make it our own!" His ears took in the hundreds of thousands as they bellowed in unison. Reiko grabbed the giant battle axe attached to his back, and held it high over his head. He gave a confident shout, and charged to the bridge before him. Footsteps echoed, and now the combined forces of Outworld were following him. Loud bangs emmited from the distance as bullets flew past his head, and bounced against the armor of the speeding Centaurs who had sprinted ahead.

The earthrealm forces grew larger in his sights, and eventually he had come face to face with an enemy soldier. He planted the soldier with a stiff shoulder strike that dropped him instantly. Reiko swung his axe over his head and proceeded to slice the soldier in two with a single slice.

Nearby Kintaro had engaged himself in battle with three soldiers. His claws dug deep into one of their faces. The other two attempted to charge at him, but he had grabbed onto both of their heads, and smashed them together in an explosion of brains, and viscera. The scene was utter chaos. Reiko had witnessed a tarkatan eating the remains of a fallen earthrealm soldier, and even saw a Centaur blown into pieces by one of the enemy tanks.

Reiko continued his fighting. He severed a head from a fighting soldier. He embowled a man who attempted to flee from him. Blood splattered his face as he did this. He ignored the cries, and pleas from all he faced. Through all of the fighting Reiko spotted one of the helicopters flying above him. He spotted the mini gun underneath it. All around himself bullets were falling in a hundred directions. Tarkatans, and Shokan's dropped all around, and Reiko had very narrowly avoided the hailing rounds. Reiko fought, and fought until he found Rain battling with his sword drawn on a Black Dragon thug. Rain had jammed his sword into the thugs heart, and let him fall to the ground with a thud. Reiko grabbed ahold of Rain's shoulder to turn him around.

"I need you to take out those helicopters!" Reiko shouted over the sounds of explosions, and gunfire. Reiko saw Rain's eyes glance upwards at the passing vehicles. Reiko caught only a quick movement from the the corner of his eye, and reacted accordingly. He gave Rain a quick shove and fell back. Between where they had been standing a glowing blue blade had scrapped the concrete. Reiko held up his axe quickly to block a swipe to his chest coming from the blind swordsman he had met briefly at Shang Tsung's island.

Their steels clashed, and the two were locked in a test of strength. Reiko lifted his axe handle up to his face to stop a flurry of slashes that were aimed for his head. Reiko swiped for Kenshi's legs, but Kenshi had blocked him at the pass, and returned with a multitude of attacks that Reiko had managed to avoid. As the two continued their duel, a Tarkatan had spotted Kenshi, and attempted to charge. Kenshi must have heard the beast roar, because he had turned on the spot, and slashed the Tarkatan's head clean off. Reiko and Kenshi met once again in a deadlock. Reiko dodged a slash, and pushed Kenshi back. There was a loud crack, and a blast of white light.

A streak of lightning had blasted one of the overhead helicopters, which set it ablaze. It circled in a tail spin, and dropped steadily to the ground. It crashed within Reiko's sights. The helicopter's body had laid smashed into a million pieces. It's blades whimpered slowly to a halt. Reiko had turned back to face Kenshi and noticed that he had disappeared back within the bulk of the fighting. Reiko continued pressing on. A massive tank round had crumbled sections of the bridge that they had charged through. Smoke, and ash filled the air making it difficult to see. Another bright flash of white had leveled another helicopter. Reiko heard it's passenger's screams all the way until it touched down.

Reiko had spotted Rain on the outskirts of the fighting, as he summoned the bright lights that had overcome the battlefield. One of his lighting blasts had missed a helicopter, and instead had scorched a legion of Shokan. The damn fool was accidentally causing friendly fire. Reiko saw another white flash, but this time it had been the figure of Raiden teleporting in front of Rain. Raiden grabbed him by his shoulders, and began flying at a blurring pace. Raiden had smashed head first into one of the towering buildings in the distance. Raiden, and Rain had disappeared from view completely. Now Reiko had noticed that more portals had opened in the sky. He heard a hollowing screech that caught the attention of everyone on the field. For just a moment the fighting seized completely.

An orange, scale littered dragon emerged from the portal, and was now roaming freely in the grey sky. The beast was massive. It stood the length of Earthrealms two largest sky scrapers. From it's large mouth flames arose. The entire sky lit with an orange glow. It was as though Reiko was looking upon the gods themselves.
