Harry felt sick as he heard Ruth say Juliet's name. He knew that she was alive and that she was out there somewhere. He hoped she would have the good graces to keep as far away from him and his team as humanly possible. Now it appeared she was involved in the shooting of his oldest friend.
"That infernal woman." Harry hissed as Ruth bit her lip as she watched him.
"I ran a facial recognition search on the image Natasha and Catherine found. Its her. I am so sorry. Harry, I know you and her have. Have a past." She sighed.
Harry shook his head. "We did. Does Alec know?"
"I told you first." Ruth explained as she watched him. "Harry, she was there. She has to have seen the shooting happen. That is all we know at the moment. She was in London and in the vicinity of the shooting."
"Yes." Harry nodded. "The media have been putting out appeals for information and witnesses. If the woman had nothing to do with it why wouldn't she make contact?"
"Because this is Juliet Shaw. Who knows how that woman's mind works." Ruth sighed as she looked out over the cityscape. Harry ran a hand over his face.
"We have to find her."

Sarah walked into the intensive care ward with Will at her side. She knew there had been extra security placed on the Unit but seeing the armed police officer outside his room had her stomach lurch. Will squeezed her hand as he gave the officer their names. A moment later they were in Malcolm's room as the machines around him bleeped. Sarah rested a hand on Malcolm's as the machine keeping him alive displayed his blood pressure and pulse. She squeezed his hand.
"Fy Cariad." She whispered as her eyes filled with tears. "You can't even go to the bank without causing all this drama." She sniffed as Will smirked.
"Uncle Malcolm, everyone is thinking of you." He spoke quietly. "Ros was here earlier. She's determined to find who did this. Ruth and Catherine are going to come as soon as they can. You are going to get through this." He found his voice faltering as he watched his godfather fight to live. He squeezed Sarah's shoulder as she sat next to Malcom.
"I'll give you both a few minutes."
"Its ok." Sarah spoke quietly. "Its ok, you sit down. He's waited all day with me, Malcolm. The boy needs to see you too."

Adam paced the Briefing Room, trying his best to keep the anger contained. He had known Malcolm for years, had thought they had seen the last of the Wicked With of Whitehall. He knew the rest of the team were as shocked by her reappearance as he was. He knew Alec had taken the news pretty hard, if the dent in his locker was anything to do with it. He stopped pacing as he heard someone walk in.
"We don't have the budget for a new carpet."
"Harry."
"Pleas sit down and stop wearing a hole in the damn thing."
Adam did as he was told just as Ros walked in, uncharacteristically she sat directly opposite him.
"Natasha will get extra security. At least until Juliet is caught." She stated, knowing that Adam was worried about the Coffee Shop owner being in danger. He nodded once. "Alec will be assigned protection duty the moment she leaves, paired with Erin."
"Ok."
"I should say we don't know that Juliet is involved." Alec walked in, slightly disturbed that he had been given babysitter duty. He slumped in his chair as he spoke. Harry glared at him for a moment. "She was just there."
"Tariq and Calum are searching footage, trying to find out when she came back in the country." Ros stated. "We need to find her. At the moment she is a person of interest, if nothing else."
"Yeah."
"Alec, if you want to sit this one out." Ros challenged as Alec met her glare.
"No, I'm on this."
Ros nodded once, knowing that she had his full cooperation. Harry rested his hands on the desk as he thought about the woman who had once been his most trusted ally. Now he was wondering if she was involved in a plot to murder one of Section D. He sighed as Ruth marched into the Briefing Room looking more angry than he could remember in a long time.
"Ruth?"
"This." She placed a small box, the size of a ring box on the table. "Arrived his morning. Stan just brought it up. It went through all the security checks but didn't flag up."
"What is it?" Adam stepped forward as he watched Ruth open the box. A small bullet lay on the velvet background of the box. "Shit. Who was it addressed to?"
Harry felt the colour drain from his face as he saw the inscription.
"Ruth. It was addressed to Ruth."
