It's here, finally. First chapter of the first season I've ever written. I've actually been wanting to do something with OC's for a little while, so it's going to be fun to see what you will think of this season and taking into consideration this is my first attempt in writing a fanfic.
Also, I might answer to your reviews. (If I get any)
This type of writing is to express moods or actions from the characters and scenarios.
I should warn you guys that because of the language barrier, my writing might not be the richest. This story takes place in our actual year, 2023, and previous seasons have happened. I thought it would be a fun idea to do a season that would take place in the present.
Anyways, I hope you have fun reading it!
[The episode starts in a psychiatric hospital and the receptionist is texting on her smartphone when one man in a formal suit comes in and asks to visit a patient.]
Man: Good morning. I would like to visit a patient, if that was possible, please.
Receptionist: Um, sure. Name of the patient?
Man: Chris. Chris McLean.
Receptionist: Your relationship with the patient?
Producer: I am his former boss. I am a producer for Total Drama and I came by to offer him the opportunity to host again. I've been familiarized with his mental state. I know that, currently, Chris is making progress and could be eligible to take the job?
Receptionist: Oh yes. Okay, you're good to pass. His room is at the end of the hall.
Producer: Thank you.
[The camera transitions to the producer, finding Chef guarding the door.]
Producer: Chef Hatchet. It's been a while.
Chef: Tom? What are you doing here?
Producer: I came because I got a new job offer for Chris and possibly for you too. I know he's been recovering his mental health and appears to be more sane these days.
Chef: That's true. All these years in here really helped Chris to overcome his past self. He has changed.
Producer: Happy to hear that. Should we come in then?
Chef: Sure, come on.
[Both Chef and the producer enter the room to find Chris reading a newspaper.]
Producer: Hey, McLean. Glad to know you're recovering.
[Chris puts the newspaper away and is surprised to see his former boss there after all these years.]
Chris (intrigued): What made you come all the way here after all these years, Tom?
Producer: A new job offer, actually. For both you and Chef, just like old times.
Chris: I am listening.
Producer: So, one business man reached out to us and is interested in sponsoring the show's next seasons. And me and the producers have decided to recreate the Camp Wawanakwa So. basically, the concept is: Same old host, same old camp, whole new cast.
Chris (excited): That's...that's...amazing!" Chris says, euphoric "I can't believe after all these years...
Chef: And I will be always with you, Chris. Just like old times.
Producer: "So, it's game on then?
Chris: You can bet it is.
[The camera then fades to the intro]
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
[The iconic campfire pit on Wawanakwa Island, where the original Total Drama series took place. The camera zooms in on Chris McLean, the charismatic and mischievous host of the show, ready to announce the new season.
Chris: [grinning mischievously] Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome back to Total Drama! I'm your host, the one and only Chris McLean, here to bring you a whole new season of drama, challenges, and of course, some good old Wawanakwa Island fun!
[The camera pans out to reveal the island's lush forest and the familiar cabins in the background.]
Chris: That's right, folks! We're returning to the same old island that started it all, but this time, we've got a brand new cast ready to stir up some serious trouble. We've scoured the globe for the most diverse, outrageous, and drama-hungry contestants that'll make you say, "Did they really just do that?"
[Cut to a montage of auditions showcasing a range of quirky and eccentric characters.]
Chris: We've got a bunch of new faces, each with their own unique personalities and talents. This season's cast is going to take the island by storm! And trust me, they'll be put through the most intense challenges that Wawanakwa has ever seen!
[The camera cuts to clips of epic challenges from previous seasons, highlighting the show's adventurous nature.]
Chris: But it wouldn't be Total Drama without a healthy dose of betrayal, alliances, and plenty of romance, am I right? Love triangles, secret alliances, and unexpected alliances are just some of the surprises our contestants will face. Let's just say, no one is safe from the drama, not even me!
[Chris smirks, adding a hint of mystery and excitement.]
Chris: So get ready for Total Drama: Wawanakwa! Strap yourselves in, because this season is going to be wilder, crazier, and more unpredictable than ever before. Will our new cast survive the challenges? Will they form lasting friendships or bitter rivalries? Only time will tell, my friends. Stay tuned for the drama of a lifetime!
[Chris raises his arms triumphantly as the camera pans out, capturing the excitement and anticipation in the air.]
[The dock of Wawanakwa Island, where a boat is approaching. Chris McLean stands at the dock, his demeanor a mix of arrogance and charisma. The camera focuses on Chris as he prepares to greet the new contestant.]
Chris: Well, look who's here. Fresh meat! Hope you brought your A-game, Iris, because things will be intense.
[The boat docks, and Iris steps off, looking excited but a little nervous.]
Iris: Hey there! I am ready, Chris.
Chris: [smirking] Ready, huh? We'll see about that, Iris. This island has a way of pushing contestants to their limits. But enough chit-chat, here comes our next contestant.
[The camera shifts to focus on the boat as Ramiro, a cocky and sarcastic guy, steps off with a smirk on his face. He confidently approaches Chris and Iris.
Ramiro: Well, well, well, if it isn't the famous Chris McLean. Should I be honored or worried?
Chris: [raising an eyebrow] Oh, Ramiro, the pleasure is all mine. But trust me, worry might be the more appropriate emotion once the challenges kick in.
[Iris watches the exchange, curious about this new arrival.]
Iris: Hey, Ramiro. How are you feeling about this? Ready or what? [she would, playfully, punch him in the shoulder, softly, while asking that]
Ramiro: [grinning] Feeling? Babe, I'm feeling fantastic. Ready? I was born ready. [he flexes his non-existent muscles and winks at Iris]
Iris: [laughs] Well, you certainly seem ready. But you know this isn't going to be a walk in the park, right?
Ramiro: [smirking] Oh, please. Challenges are my specialty. Drama? Bring it on. I live for this kind of stuff.
Chris: [chuckling] I like your confidence, Ramiro. But remember, Total Drama is not just about the challenges and the drama. It's also about endurance, strategy, and mental toughness.
Ramiro: [rolling his eyes playfully] Endurance, strategy, and mental toughness? Sounds like a piece of cake to me. [he winks at Chris and Iris]
Iris: [smiling] Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?
Chris: [clapping his hands] Alright, let's pass into the next contestant: Carlos
[The camera pans towards the boat as Carlos, a sweet and naive jock, steps off with a warm smile on his face. He approaches Chris, Ramiro, and Iris, radiating positivity.]
Carlos: Hey, everyone! Wow, this place looks amazing! What's up, Chris? My man!
Ramiro: [sarcastically] Oh, great. Another ray of sunshine. Just what we needed.
[Carlos approaches Chris with excitement and goes in for a hug, but Chris quickly steps back, wearing an annoyed and slightly disgusted expression.]
Chris: Uh, whoa, whoa, whoa! No need for the touchy-feely stuff.
[Carlos awkwardly retracts his arms, realizing his misjudgment.]
Carlos: Oh, uh, my bad, Chris. I just thought we could, you know, start things off on a friendly note.
Ramiro: [sarcastically] Oh, yeah, because Chris here is the epitome of friendliness.
Iris: [interjecting with a playful smile] Alright, alright, let's ease up on Chris, guys.
Carlos: [nervously scratching his head] Yeah, sorry about that again, Chris. I didn't mean to invade your personal space.
Chris: [waves it off with a dismissive gesture] No harm done. Just remember, this is Total Drama, not a hugging convention. We're here to compete, not cuddle.
Ramiro: [smirking] Aw, come on, Chris. I'm sure you secretly enjoy a good bear hug once in a while. Maybe we should test that theory.
Chris: [rolls his eyes] Dream on, Ramiro. Just focus on surviving the challenges and leave the hugs for later.
[Iris chuckles.]
Chris: Alright, enough with the hugging debates. It's time to introduce our next contestant: Lucy!
[The camera pans towards Lucy as she steps off the boat, emanating an eerie aura. She approaches the group, her expression enigmatic.]
Lucy: Greetings, fellow competitors. It seems I have arrived.
Carlos: [wide-eyed] Whoa, you're... uh... Lucy, right? Nice to meet you!
Ramiro: [sarcastically] Oh, joy. Another addition to our happy little island.
[Iris observes Lucy with curiosity, trying to find common ground.]
Iris: Hey, Lucy. Welcome to Total Drama. Ready to embrace the challenges?
Lucy: Challenges? They are but trivial obstacles on the path to enlightenment.
Chris: [raising an eyebrow] Alright, Lucy. Just remember, enlightenment might have to wait until after you survive the wild ride of Total Drama.
Lucy: Survival is not my concern. I am here to explore the depths of the human experience.
Carlos: [nervously] Uh, sounds...deep.
Chris: Deep is an understatement, Carlos. Lucy here is all about the mysteries and enigmas of life. Isn't that right, Lucy?
Lucy: Indeed, Chris. Life is a labyrinth of secrets waiting to be unraveled.
Ramiro: [leaning towards Iris, whispering] Do you think she knows where my missing socks went?
Iris: [whispering back to Ramiro] Who knows, Ramiro? Maybe Lucy has a connection to the realm of lost socks.
Chris: [interrupting the conversation] Alright, enough about missing socks. We have another contestant to introduce! Here comes Blaise.
[The camera pans towards the boat as Blaise, a muscular and intense guy, steps off with an air of confidence. He approaches the group, flexing his muscles.]
Blaise: Hey, losers. Blaise is here to dominate this competition and show you all what real strength looks like.
Carlos: [impressed] Whoa, dude! You're ripped! I mean, nice to meet you, Blaise.
Iris: Hey, Blaise. Ready to tackle some challenges?
Blaise: [grinning] You bet, sweetheart. I'll make sure these weaklings know what it takes to be a true champion.
Chris: [smirking] Ah, Blaise, always full of confidence.
Blaise: [flexing his biceps] You know it, Chris! I've got it all covered. I'm a force to be reckoned with.
Ramiro: [smirking and raising an eyebrow] Well, Blaise, I hope you brought enough muscles for the rest of us. Wouldn't want any shortages in the "bulging biceps" department.
[The group chuckles, and even Blaise cracks a slight smile.]
Blaise: [sarcastically] Oh, don't worry. I've got muscles to spare. I'll share some tips with you if you ask nicely.
Ramiro: [playfully] Oh, I'll be sure to take notes, Blaise. Maybe one day I'll catch up to your magnificent physique. But until then, I'll stick to my bed.
Chris: Anyway, It's time to introduce our next contestant. Get ready to meet Heidi.
[The camera pans towards the boat as Heidi steps off, her eyes wide with excitement. She approaches the group, clutching a Total Drama script.]
Heidi: Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Chris McLean in the flesh! This is a dream come true!
Carlos: [smiling] Hey, Heidi! It's great to meet another Total Drama fan.
Iris: [enthusiastically] Heidi, welcome to the island! We're gonna have so much fun together.
Heidi: [holding up her script] Oh, you bet! I've rehearsed every season, every challenge, every line. I'm ready to bring some serious drama to this place!
Chris: [grinning] Well, Heidi, it looks like your dreams just became reality. Get ready to take center stage and show us what you've got.
Heidi: [clutching her script tightly] Oh, I'm more than ready, Chris! Do you think I could give you a hug? Or maybe get an autograph?
Chris: [leaning back, a hint of discomfort on his face] Uh, let's not get carried away, Heidi. You'll get that if you win.
Heidi: [disappointed but understanding] Oh, right, of course. Sorry, I got a little starstruck. But don't worry, Chris, I'll give my all in the challenges!
[As Heidi joins the group, the excitement among the contestants continues to grow. The camera captures their vibrant energy and anticipation for the challenges ahead.]
Chris: We've got another contestant to introduce. Prepare yourselves for the one and only Chad, whose dad helped this season come true by sponsoring it.
[The camera shifts towards the boat as Chad, a spoiled kid with a smug expression, steps off, followed by his personal butler carrying an array of luxury items.]
Chad: [looking around with a bored expression] Finally made it to this dump, huh? I hope you all brought your A-game, 'cause I don't settle for anything less.
Ramiro: [raising an eyebrow] Wow, someone's got a high opinion of themselves.
Iris: [curious] Chad, did your dad really sponsor this show?
Chad: [smirking] You bet, darling. Daddy wanted to make my dreams come true, and what better way than to have my own personal playground?
Chris: [feigning enthusiasm] Well, Chad, we're honored to have you grace us with your presence. But remember, daddy's money won't buy you any special treatment here.
Chad: [laughing arrogantly] Please, Chris, like I need special treatment. I was born to win, and I won't let anyone forget it.
Heidi: [whispering to the others] Looks like we've got ourselves a real piece of work here.
[As Chad joins the group, tensions rise, and the dynamics among the contestants become even more intriguing.]
Chris: Well, get ready, everyone, because we have another powerhouse joining the competition. Give it up for Ana.
[The camera pans towards the boat as Ana steps off, exuding confidence and determination. She walks towards the group with a focused expression.]
Ana: Hey. I hope you're all ready to step up your game, 'cause I don't mess around when it comes to winning.
Ramiro: [smirking] Well, well, well. Looks like we finally have someone who knows what they're doing.
Iris: [smiling] Ana, glad to have you on board. We could use some strong leadership.
Heidi: [excitedly] Oh, another girl! We're gonna have so much fun, Ana!
Ana: Fun comes after we win, Heidi. Focus on the goal.
Blaise: [nodding in approval] Finally, someone who gets it. I like your style, Ana.
[Ana smirks and raises an eyebrow, acknowledging Blaise's comment.]
Ana: Thanks. It's nice to feel appreciated.
[Ana extends her fist towards Blaise, and he reciprocates with a fist bump.]
Blaise: You got it, Ana.
[Chris steps forward, grinning mischievously.]
Chris: Alright, everyone, next contestant is Danielle!
[The camera pans towards the boat as Danielle steps off, exuding confidence and attitude. She saunters towards the group, flipping her hair.]
Danielle: Ugh, about time I arrived. Did you all miss me? I mean, who wouldn't?
Ramiro: [sarcastically] Oh, Danielle, we were just counting the seconds until your arrival.
Carlos: [innocently] How could we miss someone we never even met before?
Danielle: [smirking] Oh, trust me, you'll be begging for my attention soon enough.
Heidi: [whispering to Iris] Hey, do you think she's as mean as she seems?
Iris: [smirking] Only one way to find out, Heidi. Let's see what she brings to the table.
[As Danielle joins the group, her presence adds a new layer of tension and rivalry. The contestants brace themselves for the clash of personalities and strategies that awaits them on Total Drama: Wawanakwa Island.]
[The camera pans towards the boat as Leon and Dirk step off, their camaraderie evident in their synchronized movements.]
Leon: Hey, everyone! Ready to reel in some victories, Dirk?
Dirk: You know it, Le! We're gonna make waves and have a ton of fun doing it!
Carlos: [excited] Awesome! It's great to have a dynamic duo like you guys on board!
Iris: [curious] So, fishing must be your passion, right?
Leon: We may be dressed for the occasion but, not exactly. We do enjoy fishing, but we're more passionate about the adventures it brings and the bonds we've formed.
Dirk: And helping the animals. We once found a turtle covered in a plastic bag. Almost running out of air.
Leon: Yep, and we saved it, we felt really good about it.
Heidi: [smiling] That's so sweet!
Ramiro: [raising an eyebrow] You guys seem like you finish each other's sentences. Must be nice having a partner like that.
Dirk: Absolutely! We're like two fish in a...uh...boat? Yeah, something like that!
Iris: Definitely nice to have you guys as our adversaries.
[The group chuckles as Leon and Dirk join them, adding a new dynamic to the mix.]
Chris: Alright, folks, it's time to meet our next contestant! Say hello to Zane!
[The camera pans towards the boat as Zane steps off, exuding an air of mystery and independence. He walks towards the group with a calm and focused expression.]
Leon: [excitedly] And here he is! Our first teammate.
Dirk: [enthusiastically] Yeah, man! We were excited to meet our team. Best friends, right?
[Zane raises an eyebrow, slightly taken aback by their enthusiasm.]
Zane: Uh, hey. Yeah, I'm Zane.
Leon: [leaning closer] You know, we're the Angler Bros! We finish each other's...
Dirk: ...sandwiches!
[Leon and Dirk burst into laughter, expecting Zane to join in. However, Zane's expression remains stoic.]
Zane: Right, sandwiches. Hilarious.
Chris: [grinning] Looks like the Angler Bros have found their missing puzzle piece.
Leon: [excitedly] Dude, imagine all the fishing adventures we'll have together!
Dirk: Yeah, catching the biggest fish and all of that.
Zane: [interrupting, uninterested] Look, guys, fishing isn't really my thing. I prefer to, you know, do my own thing.
Leon: Neither is ours.
Dirk: Yeah, but hey, we can still hang out and have a good time, right?
Zane: [softening his expression] Sure, hanging out sounds alright. Just don't expect me to be all hyped up about fishing.
[Leon and Dirk exchange glances, realizing they might have overestimated Zane's enthusiasm.]
Leon: [smiling] No worries, Zane. We can do a zillion far better things than fishing.
Dirk: Yeah, we can find something we all enjoy. It's gonna be awesome!
[Zane nods, appreciating their understanding.]
Zane: Alright, sounds good. Let's see what this island has in store for us, then.
Leon: (excited) I am sure our team will be the winning one!
[As the group assimilates Zane's presence, the dynamics start to shift, with the Angler Bros adjusting their expectations while still maintaining their friendship with Zane.]
Chris: Alright, get ready to meet our next contestant: Emilia!
[The camera pans towards the boat as Emilia steps off, dressed impeccably with perfect posture. She walks towards the group, her expression distant and closed off.]
Leon: [whispering to Dirk] Dude, check her out. She looks so put together.
Dirk: [whispering back] Yeah, man. Maybe she'll teach us a thing or two about etiquette. I need it, I always get my best shirts dirty while eating.
Leon: [chuckling] Yeah, and maybe she can give us a crash course on how to avoid embarrassing food stains. We'll finally look presentable.
[Dirk and Leon both stifle their laughter, trying not to draw attention to themselves.]
[Emilia notices the hushed conversation and approaches the group, maintaining her composed demeanor.]
Emilia: Hello, everyone. I'm Emilia.
Leon: [trying to keep his posture] Hey, Emilia! Nice to meet you. I am Leon and he's Dirk.
Dirk: [enthusiastically] Yeah, we're gonna have the best time together!
[Zane's attention is caught by Emilia's composed demeanor. He watches her closely.]
Zane: [intrigued] Emilia, huh? You seem different from the rest. I like that.
Emilia: [blushing slightly] Oh, um, thank you, Zane. You seem... interesting too.
Leon: [excitedly] Guys, I can already tell we're gonna be an unbeatable team!
Dirk: Absolutely! We've got it all!
Emilia: [softening her expression] Well, thank you for the kind words, guys. I'll do my best to contribute to our team's success.
Zane: [smirking] I have a feeling this competition just got a lot more interesting with you on our team, Emilia.
[Emilia's blush deepens, and she looks away, hiding her shy smile.]
[As the team embraces the addition of Emilia, they can't help but anticipate the unexpected bonds and friendships that may form during their time on the island.]
[As the interactions continue, Chris announces the next contestant.]
Chris: And now, get ready to meet Kathy.
[The camera pans towards the boat as Kathy steps off, her gothic attire contrasting with the vibrant surroundings. She walks towards the group, her dark makeup and piercings adding to her unique style.]
Lucy: [in her usual creepy and unsettling tone] I like this one...
[Everyone on her team turns to look at Lucy, their expressions filled with a mixture of confusion and unease.]
Kathy: Hey, what's up team? I'm Kathy.
[As Kathy approaches, her gaze lingers on Zane, catching his attention.]
Zane: [raising an eyebrow] Another interesting addition, huh?
[Emilia, who was observing the interaction, feels a tiny hint of jealousy creeping in. She leans closer to Leon and Dirk, whispering discreetly.]
Emilia: [whispering] Do you see the way Kathy's looking at Zane?
Leon: [whispering back, amused] Well, looks like Zane has caught the attention of both our new teammates. This might get interesting.
Dirk: [whispering, playfully] Le, maybe we should take notes from Zane on how to attract the ladies.
Leon: [whispering back, jokingly] Dirk, Zane's got his own charm. We can't compete with that.
[Emilia chuckles softly, trying to conceal her mixed emotions.]
[As Emilia whispers to Leon and Dirk about Kathy's interest in Zane, the atmosphere becomes filled with a hint of playful teasing.]
Kathy: [turning her attention to Emilia, Leon, and Dirk] So, what's the scoop, guys?
Emilia: [smiling coyly] Oh, just getting to know each other. Nice to meet you, Kathy.
Leon: [extending his hand] Hey, Kathy! I'm Leon, and this is my buddy Dirk.
Dirk: [also extending his hand] Yeah, nice to meet you, Kathy! I really dig your style, by the way.
Kathy: [shaking their hands] Oh, thank you, pleasure to meet you both.
Chris: Everyone, meet the next contestant now! Say hello to Derek!
[The camera pans towards the boat as Derek steps off, dressed in spooky attire with a mischievous grin on his face. He walks towards the group, exuding an air of horror enthusiasm.]
Leon: [whispering to Dirk, jokingly] Dude, we got Kathy, the goth queen, and now we have Derek, the horror enthusiast. Our team is turning into a horror convention.
Dirk: [whispering back, chuckling] Haha, Le, looks like we're gonna have our own personal haunted house experience.
Kathy: [smiling, pleased] Finally, someone who appreciates the darker side of things. Welcome to the team, Derek.
Derek: [nodding] Thanks, Kathy. I can see we're going to have some wicked fun together.
[As the team welcomes Derek and his spooky enthusiasm, the dynamics continue to evolve, creating a diverse group of individuals with unique interests and personalities.]
Chris: Now, presenting the next contestant, please welcome Bri!
[The camera pans towards the boat as Bri steps off, dressed in modest and understated clothing. She appears timid and introverted, her eyes darting nervously.]
Leon: [whispering to Dirk, with a kind tone] Hey, look at Bri. She seems really shy.
Dirk: [whispering back, empathetically] Yeah, poor thing. Let's make her feel welcome.
[The team members approach Bri, their expressions warm and inviting.]
Kathy: Hi, Bri. I'm Kathy, and this is Zane, Emilia, Derek, Leon, and Dirk. Welcome to our team!
Bri: [softly] Oh, um, hi. Nice to meet all of you.
Zane: [smiling reassuringly] Hey, Bri. Don't worry, we're all here to have a good time. You'll fit right in.
Emilia: [gently] We're happy to have you on our team. We'll make sure you feel comfortable.
Leon: [encouragingly] Yeah, Bri! We're gonna have a blast together. No need to be nervous.
Dirk: [supportively] Absolutely, Bri. We're all here to support each other and enjoy the experience.
[Bri's tense posture starts to relax as the team extends their welcoming gestures.]
[With the arrival of Bri, the team's dynamics continue to shift, embracing her timid nature and ensuring she feels included and supported throughout their journey.]
Chris: Next up, please welcome Tiko!
[The camera pans towards the boat as Tiko steps off, exuding an aura of tranquility and calmness. He carries himself with a serene demeanor, radiating a sense of inner peace.]
Leon: [whispering to Dirk, intrigued] Check out Tiko. That guy looks like he's on a whole different level of chill.
Dirk: [whispering back, amused] Seriously, man. He's like the embodiment of relaxation. I could use some of that zen in my life.
[Tiko approaches the group, his gaze filled with serene understanding.]
Tiko: Greetings, everyone. I'm Tiko. It's a pleasure to join you all here.
Kathy: [smiling warmly] Hey, Tiko. I'm Kathy, and these are Zane, Emilia, Derek, Leon, and Dirk. Welcome to our team.
Tiko: [nodding gracefully] Thank you, Kathy. It's an honor to be part of this journey with all of you.
Emilia: [curious] So, Tiko, can you read auras and all of that?
Tiko: [smiling gently] Yes, Emilia. I find it fascinating to perceive the energy and emotions that surround us. It helps me connect with others on a deeper level.
Leon: [excitedly] That's awesome, man!
Dirk: Can you read my aura and Leon's?
Tiko: [nodding] Of course, Leon. Allow me a moment.
[Tiko closes his eyes briefly, taking a deep breath. He then opens his eyes, looking at Leon.]
Tiko: Leon, your aura radiates with enthusiasm and optimism. You bring a vibrant energy to the team.
Leon: [grinning] Hey, I'll take that as a compliment!
[Tiko turns to Dirk, observing his aura.]
Tiko: Dirk, your aura reveals a mischievous spirit and a great sense of humor. You bring lightness to the group.
Dirk: [laughing] Haha, spot on, man!
[The team members exchange glances, impressed by Tiko's observations.]
Zane: Good stuff, dude.
Tiko: Thank you. Your aura carries a magnetic and confident energy, drawing others towards you.
Zane: [smirking] Well, I can't argue with that. It's good to have you on board, Tiko.
Bri: [softly] Um, Tiko, could you... uh, read my aura too?
Tiko: [nodding kindly] Of course. Give me a moment to connect.
[Tiko focuses his attention on Bri, reading her aura with a serene concentration.]
Tiko: Bri, your aura emanates a gentle and compassionate energy. You bring a calming presence to our team, and your sensitivity is a valuable strength.
Bri: [blushing, surprised] Th-thank you, Tiko. That means a lot to me.
Emilia: [smiling warmly] See, Bri? We all have unique qualities that make us an amazing team. We're here to support each other.
Kathy: Absolutely, Bri. We're delighted to have someone like you with us.
Derek: [grinning mischievously] Hey, Tiko, can you read my aura too? I'm curious if it'll be as spooky as my horror collection.
Tiko: [chuckling] Derek, your aura is a fascinating blend of excitement and curiosity, with a touch of mischief. It's as if you carry a pocketful of secrets and surprises.
Derek: [laughing] Haha, I guess I can't hide my spooky side. Thanks, Tiko!
Leon: [teasingly] Derek, your aura better not scare away any potential supernatural challenges we face on this journey.
Dirk: [playfully] Yeah, Derek, let's make sure we don't accidentally summon any ghosts with that aura of yours.
Derek: [grinning] Don't worry, guys. I'll keep the supernatural shenanigans in check... maybe.
[The team bursts into laughter, enjoying the light-hearted banter.]
Tiko: [smiling] Derek, your enthusiasm for the supernatural brings a unique flavor to our team. It adds a thrilling twist to our adventure.
[With Tiko's aura readings and Derek's playful remarks, the team's camaraderie strengthens, creating a vibrant blend of personalities and interests. Together, they embrace their differences, ready to face whatever challenges await them.]
Chris: And now, presenting our final contestant, Jackie!
[The camera pans towards the boat as Jackie steps off, dressed in stylish yet casual attire. She carries an air of sophistication, but her relaxed demeanor hints at a different side.]
Dirk: [whispering to Leon, intrigued] Take a look at her. She seems like she belongs in a high-end fashion magazine.
Leon: [whispering back, amused] Yeah, she's got that rich girl vibe, but let's not judge a book by its cover.
[The team members approach Jackie, their expressions curious and welcoming.]
Kathy: Hi, Jackie. I'm Kathy, and this is Zane, Emilia, Derek, Bri, Tiko, Leon, and Dirk. Welcome to our team!
Jackie: [smiling gracefully] Thank you. Pleasure to meet you all.
Zane: [raising an eyebrow playfully] So, Jackie, how many designer labels did you bring with you?
Jackie: [laughs] Contrary to popular belief, Zane, I'm not all about designer labels. I value comfort and style, no matter the brand.
Emilia: That's refreshing to hear.
Tiko: [smiling warmly] Jackie, your presence brings a unique perspective to our team. It's wonderful to have someone who appreciates the value of experiences beyond material possessions.
Jackie: Thank you, Tiko. I'm excited to embark on this journey with all of you.
[With Jackie's introduction, the team's dynamics undergo another shift, as they discover that she defies the stereotypes associated with her background. They embrace her individuality, eager to explore the uncharted together.]
Chris: Alright, now that we have our teams, let's give them a name! Ana, Blaise, Carlos, Chad, Danielle, Iris, Ramiro, Heidi, and Creepy Girl, you all will be known as the Hazardous Bears!
[The Hazardous Bears cheer and exchange determined glances, ready to prove their strength.]
Chris: And Bri, Derek, Dirk, Emilia, Jackie, Kathy, Leon, Tiko, and Zane, you will be known as the Swift Deers!
[The Swift Deers share smiles and nods, embracing their new team name.]
Chris: Your teams will compete against each other in various challenges. If your team wins, you're all safe and you might win a good reward. The losing team however, will attend a marshmallow ceremony at the campfire pit where they will vote out who they think deserves to leave the most. And that person will be eliminated, will immediately head to the Dock of Shame and be driven home by the classic Boat of Losers.
[The contestants stand with their respective teams, excitement and anticipation filling the air. The journey is about to begin, and the teams are ready to face whatever lies ahead. With their diverse personalities and skills, they are determined to work together, support one another, and show the world what they are capable of.]
Chris: Alright, teams! It's time to head to your cabins and settle in. You'll find everything you need for your stay there. Each team has their own cabin, fully equipped with beds, storage, and all the essentials. Meet with me in the main lodge in 1 hour, Chef will serve lunch.
[The Hazardous Bears and the Swift Deers begin making their way towards their respective cabins, eager to claim their spaces.]
Chris: Remember, teamwork starts from the moment you step into your cabins. Get to know your teammates, bond, and strategize. You'll be spending a lot of time together, so it's important to build strong relationships.
[Inside the Hazardous Bears' cabin, Blaise, Carlos, Chad, and Ramiro are getting settled in. Blaise immediately takes charge, claiming his territory.]
Blaise: Alright, guys, listen up. This cabin is gonna be my personal workout area. You better not touch my weights or get in my way, in any way.
Ramiro: [sarcastically] Sure thing, boss!
[Blaise rolls his eyes at Ramiro's sarcastic remark.]
CONFESSIONAL - RAMIRO
Ramiro: [suppressing a laugh] Oh, Blaise, the self-proclaimed king of the cabin. I can't help but find it amusing how seriously he takes himself. I mean, come on, it's a reality show, not a gym.
CONFESSIONAL - BLAISE
Blaise: Look, I came here to win, to dominate, and to show everyone what I'm made of. But being around these guys... it's challenging. Carlos is all rainbows and sunshine, Chad acts like he owns the place just because his dad sponsors the show, and Ramiro... well, he's just a guy with no personality pretending to be funny. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one taking this seriously.
Carlos: [looking around, impressed] Wow, this cabin is pretty cool. I like the rustic vibe and the cozy beds.
Chad: [whining] Ugh, why couldn't my dad get us a bigger cabin? This place is so cramped.
Ramiro: [sarcastically] Oh, poor Chad, roughing it in a cabin that's not a mansion. I feel your pain, buddy.
Chad: [rolls eyes] Very funny, Ramiro. I just expected something more... luxurious.
CONFESSIONAL - CHAD
Chad: Seriously, this cabin is a total joke. My dad could have gotten us a mansion, a private island, heck, even a spaceship! But no, we're stuck in this cramped little thing. I mean, how am I supposed to live like a superstar in these conditions?
And don't even get me started on Ramiro. He thinks he's so clever with his sarcastic remarks. Well, jokes on him because I'm still gonna be the center of attention. Just you wait and see.
[As Chad finishes his confession, a loud flushing sound can be heard in the background.]
Chad: Uh... what was that? Uh-oh...
Ramiro: Well, maybe you can climb up to the top bunk and see if it magically makes you happier.
CONFESSIONAL - BLAISE
Blaise: Being in the top bunk is not magical. I repeat, NOT magical. Thank you. Just wanted to get that out of the way.
[The others chuckle at Ramiro's sarcastic remark, while Chad shoots him a playful glare.]
Blaise: Carlos, come help me move this bed. I need to clear some space for my mini gym setup.
Carlos: Sure thing, Blaise. I'll lend you a hand.
[Blaise and Carlos begin maneuvering a bed to create Blaise's workout area, while Chad sighs and Ramiro continues cracking jokes. The boys settle into their roles, embracing the quirks and dynamics of their team.]
[Inside the Hazardous Bears' cabin, Ana, Danielle, Iris, Heidi, and Creepy Girl/Lucy are getting settled in. The atmosphere is tense as Danielle disrupts the peace.]
Ana: Alright, everyone, let's find our beds and get settled. We have a long journey ahead of us.
Danielle: [sarcastically] Oh, joy. Can't wait to spend my time with a bunch of losers.
Iris: [trying to diffuse the tension] Come on, Danielle, let's try to get along. We're all here for the same reason, right?
Heidi: Yeah, let's focus on making this a fun experience. We can support each other and create some amazing memories.
Lucy: [speaking softly, with an eerie tone] I can feel the dark secrets of this cabin. It's as if they whisper to me.
Ana: [glancing at Lucy] Let's keep that talk to a minimum, Lucy. We don't need any unnecessary creepiness.
Lucy: [pauses, then speaks in a low, unsettling voice] Have you ever noticed how silence can be the loudest sound in a room?
Iris: [nervously] Uh, that's certainly an interesting observation, Lucy.
Heidi: [trying to lighten the mood] Hey, Iris, speaking of interesting sounds, have you discovered any new indie bands lately? I've been diving deep into the indie rock scene myself, and there are some amazing artists out there.
Iris: Oh, absolutely! I've been obsessed with this band called "The Midnight Wanderers." Their dreamy melodies and poetic lyrics just transport you to another world. Have you heard of them?
Heidi: Yes, I have! Their music is incredible. And let me tell you about this indie rock group called "Echoes in the Attic." Their raw energy and catchy hooks always get me pumped up.
Iris: Oh, I love "Echoes in the Attic"! Their music is like a burst of electricity. It's so invigorating.
Danielle: [interrupting, annoyed] Ugh, can you two stop fan-girling about your obscure bands? It's so annoying.
Ana: Danielle, if you have a problem with everyone, maybe you should take a moment to reflect on your own attitude.
Danielle: [rolls her eyes] Whatever, tough girl. I don't need your advice.
CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE
Danielle: [sighs, annoyed] Seriously, I can't stand these people. They think they're so cool with their indie bands and their quirky taste in music. It's just a bunch of noise to me. They're all so naive and clueless. I don't need their support or their friendship. I'm here to play my own game, and I'll do whatever it takes to come out on top.
[As the girls settle into the cabin, tensions rise between Danielle and the others, while Iris and Heidi find common ground. The dynamics within the team are tested, but there's hope for a stronger bond to form.]
[Inside the Swift Deers' cabin, Derek, Zane, Dirk, Leon, and Tiko are settling into their new surroundings. The atmosphere is more relaxed and laid-back compared to the Hazardous Bears' cabin.]
Derek: [grinning mischievously] You know, guys, I can already feel the ghosts lurking in this cabin. As a horror enthusiast, I've got a sixth sense for these things.
Zane: [smirking] Oh, great. Just what we need, a haunted cabin. Well, as long as the ghosts pay rent, I'm fine with it.
Dirk: [innocently] Do ghosts even have wallets, Zane? Maybe they could give us some financial advice.
Leon: [chuckling] I don't know about financial advice, but they sure know how to give you a good scare.
Tiko: [calmly] Ah, the realm of spirits can be intriguing. But let us focus on the present moment and embrace the tranquility of our surroundings.
Derek: [playfully] You're right, Tiko. No need to let the ghosts steal the spotlight.
CONFESSIONAL - LEON AND DIRK
Leon: Man, I gotta say, I'm pumped to be here. The atmosphere in this cabin is so chill, and everyone seems great.
Dirk: Totally, dude! I mean, it's only day one, but I already feel like we're gonna have a blast with these guys. Zane's got that down-to-earth vibe, Derek's all about the horror fun, and Tiko, well, he's just the embodiment of zen.
Leon: And let's not forget about the girls. Bri may be timid, but she's got a great sense of humor. Emilia's really kind. Jackie's not your typical rich girl, she's got layers, man. And Kathy, well, she's the coolest goth girl I've ever met.
Dirk: Absolutely, bro. We've got a diverse bunch, but that's what makes it exciting. I can't wait to see what adventures await us in this competition.
Leon: Me neither, man. Let's embrace every moment, have each other's backs, and make some unforgettable memories.
Dirk: You said it, dude. Swift Deers for the win!
Leon: Totally, dude!
[They give each other a fist bump before the confessional ends.]
[As the boys settle in, their easy banter and lightheartedness create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere in the cabin. Their distinct personalities and interests blend together, forming a cohesive group ready to take on whatever challenges lie ahead.]
[Inside the Swift Deers' cabin, Bri, Emilia, Jackie, and Kathy are settling in and engaging in a lively conversation.]
Bri: You know, guys, the Asher bros are hilarious. They had me cracking up earlier. They really know how to lighten the mood.
Emilia: [smiling] I agree, Bri. Dirk's innocent charm and Leon's compassionate nature make for a great combination. They're such genuine guys.
Jackie: [nodding] Absolutely. First impressions can be deceiving sometimes. At least with them, we know what to count in, it seems.
Kathy: [curiously] And what about Zane? He seems like the lone wolf type, but there's an intriguing depth to him.
Emilia: [blushing slightly] Yeah, Zane... He has this mysterious vibe. I can't help but be drawn to his calm and responsible nature.
Jackie: [teasingly] Ooh, Emilia, someone's got a little crush.
Emilia: [shyly] N-No, it's not like that. I just find him intriguing, that's all.
CONFESSIONAL - EMILIA
Emilia: Yep, that's all. Zane didn't even catch my attention at all. I mean, why would he? And I'm sure he's not interested in someone like me.
[Emilia glances around nervously, making sure no one overhears her before the confessional takes an end.]
Bri: [giggling] Well, I must say, Tiko's serene presence really caught my attention. He's the most chill guy I've ever met. I can't wait to see what wisdom he'll bring to our journey.
Kathy: Tiko does have this calming effect on everyone, doesn't he? I'm curious to learn more about his perspective on life.
Jackie: And let's not forget Derek, the horror enthusiast. He seems like a fun and adventurous guy. I'm sure he'll keep us entertained with his spooky tales.
Emilia: [smiling] It's great that we have such a diverse group of boys in our team. Each one brings something unique to the table.
[As the girls bond over their first impressions of the boys, they begin to form connections and build a sense of camaraderie. Excitement fills the air as they anticipate the upcoming experiences and the chance to discover even more about their teammates.]
[Chris's voice echoes through the speakers, announcing the next activity.]
Chris: Attention, contestants! Please make your way to the main lodge for lunch. It's time to refuel and recharge before our next challenge. See you all there!
[The contestants from both teams gather their belongings and head towards the main lodge, eager to satisfy their hunger and engage in some much-needed relaxation and conversation.]
[Zane walks past the girls' cabin of the Swift Deers and overhears their lively conversation. Realizing they might not have heard Chris's announcement, he decides to intervene.]
Zane: Hey, ladies, hate to interrupt, but Chris just announced that it's time to head to the main lodge for lunch. We don't want to keep him waiting.
Kathy: Oh, thanks for letting us know, Zane. We got caught up in our conversation.
Emilia: Yeah, time really flew by. We should head to the main lodge right away.
Jackie: Absolutely. Let's not keep everyone waiting.
Bri: I hope they have something vegetarian for lunch. I'm not really into meat.
Zane: Ah, don't worry, Bri. I'm sure they'll have a whole selection of vegetarian options. You know, like a plate of air or a salad made entirely of lettuce.
[The girls chuckle, finding Zane's joke amusing.]
Zane: With Chef's cookings, you don't got many options, but we might get surprised.
[They continue to laugh as they make their way towards the main lodge, their conversation light and filled with anticipation for the upcoming meal.]
[Inside the main lodge, the competitors line up with their food trays, eagerly waiting to be served. The aroma of the freshly prepared dishes fills the air, heightening their anticipation. Chef stands at the front of the line, ready to announce the rules.]
Chef: Alright, listen up, maggots! I don't have all day to babysit you. Here are the rules for mealtime: no cutting in line, no wasting food, and absolutely no complaining about what's on your plate. You eat what you're given, got it?
[The competitors whisper amongst themselves, sharing their excitement and speculating about the food.]
Ana: I wonder what Chef has prepared for us. I hope it's something edible.
Blaise: As long as there's enough protein, I'm good. Can't build these guns without fuel, you know?
[Ana rolls her eyes in disgust, refraining from saying anything.]
Carlos: I hope they have some of those delicious desserts I've heard about. A little sweet treat never hurt anyone.
Chad: Ugh, I hope they cater to my tastes. My dad is sponsoring this show, after all. They better have some gourmet options.
Danielle: [rolls her eyes] I highly doubt Chef cares about your daddy's money. Just be grateful we have food at all.
Iris: I'm excited to see what Chef can create with fresh, local ingredients. I hope he incorporates some unique flavors.
Heidi: You know what they say, the drama doesn't just happen on the show, it's also in the kitchen. I wonder if Chef is as intense as they say.
Lucy: [whispering softly] I can sense the energy in the food. It's as if it holds secrets waiting to be revealed.
[The competitors continue to chatter quietly, discussing Chef's reputation and sharing their expectations for the first meal of the competition.]
[Among the Swift Deers, the competitors continue their quiet conversations while waiting in line, observing Chef with curiosity.]
Dirk: [whispering to Leon] You think Chef's meals are as bad as they say? I've heard some horror stories.
Leon: [smirking] Well, let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if he served us a mystery casserole with a side of disappointment.
Dirk: [chuckles] I hope he knows that taste and presentation are equally important. We don't want a meal that looks like it's been through a tornado.
Emilia: [joining the conversation] I've heard rumors about Chef's legendary meatloaf. Some say it's a taste sensation, others say it's a crime against taste buds.
Bri: [giggling] Well, as long as there's something vegetarian on the menu, I'm willing to give Chef a chance.
Jackie: [raising an eyebrow] So, Chef's infamous cooking has reached even the high-end circles. Should we be worried?
Kathy: [smiling] Let's keep an open mind and be grateful for whatever nourishment we receive. Who knows, maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.
Tiko: [leaning in, speaking calmly] Remember, food is a reflection of the energy we put into it. Let's approach each meal with gratitude and mindfulness.
[As they near the front of the line, the Swift Deers maintain a lighthearted spirit, teasing Chef's culinary reputation while remaining optimistic about the upcoming meal.]
[As the competitors reach the front of the line, they are each served a plate of pasta that looks less than appetizing. The aroma wafting from the plates leaves much to be desired.]
Ana: [eyeing her plate cautiously] Is this... pasta?
CONFESSIONAL - ANA
Ana: Okay, I have to admit, when I saw that plate of pasta, I wasn't exactly thrilled. But, you know, I'm always up for trying new things, so I thought, "Why not?"
[Ana takes a small forkful of the pasta, hesitates for a moment, then puts it in her mouth.]
Ana: [grimacing] Oh, my goodness. Nope, this isn't pasta. This is... this is a crime against food. I don't even know how to describe the taste. It's like a mixture of sadness, regret, and old socks. I think I'm going to be sick.
[Ana quickly covers her mouth and rushes out of the confessional, presumably to find a bathroom.]
Blaise: [grimacing] I've seen better-looking slop in a school cafeteria.
Carlos: [tentatively poking at the pasta] Maybe it tastes better than it looks?
Danielle: [rolls her eyes] Highly doubtful. Chef's reputation precedes him.
Iris: [trying to stay positive] Well, let's give it a try. Maybe it's a hidden gem.
Heidi: [taking a small bite] Oh... I think I just lost my appetite.
Ramiro: [sarcastically] Congratulations, Chef. You've managed to turn pasta into a culinary crime scene.
Bri: [softly] At least it's vegetarian, right?
Dirk: [whispering to Leon] Looks like Chef's creative flair doesn't extend to the kitchen.
Leon: [suppressing a laugh] I think we should all consider ourselves lucky if we make it through this competition without any food poisoning.
[Taking their first bites of the unappetizing pasta, the Swift Deers try to maintain their composure, exchanging amused glances and silently vowing to rely on their resilience to survive the less-than-gourmet meals.]
[Chris enters the main lodge, his eyes twinkling with mischief, and a mischievous grin on his face. He spots the contestants lined up with their trays of food and decides to have a little fun.]
Chris: Well, well, well, how's everyone enjoying their gourmet feast? I hope you're savoring every bite.
Ana: [looking skeptical] It's... interesting, to say the least.
Chris: Interesting, huh? That's one way to put it. But let me tell you, this meal is just the appetizer. We've got a whole menu of surprises in store for you.
Zane: [raising an eyebrow] Surprises? Should we be worried?
Chris: Oh, worried? Nah, just consider it a... gastronomic adventure. It's all part of the experience.
Carlos: [nervously] Chris, are you sure this food is safe?
Chris: Safe? Well, let's just say it's an acquired taste. You know what they say, "You snooze, you lose." And speaking of snoozing...
[Chris begins to make several food-related references to sleep, hinting at something ominous.]
Chris: This meal might just have you dreaming like never before. Sweet dreams, my delectable contestants!
[The contestants exchange perplexed glances, unsure of what Chris's cryptic remarks mean. They realize there's a possibility of something unexpected, but without concrete evidence, they can only speculate about the true nature of the food they just consumed.]
[Chris leaves the main lodge, leaving the contestants to ponder his cryptic words. As they continue eating, the effects of the meal start to take hold, and a wave of drowsiness washes over them.]
Bri: [yawning] Is anyone else feeling incredibly sleepy all of a sudden?
Danielle: [rubbing her eyes] Yeah, I can barely keep my eyes open. What did they put in that pasta?
Leon: [struggling to stay awake] Maybe it's a secret ingredient... like a tranquilizer?
Zane: [trying to fight off sleep] This isn't normal. We need to stay alert and figure out what's going on.
Carlos: [struggling to stay awake] I can't even lift my spoon anymore. It's like I've been hit with a sleep spell.
Heidi: [barely keeping her eyes open] This feels so strange. I've never been this sleepy after a meal before.
Ramiro: [slurring his words] Guys, I think Chef's cooking has reached a whole new level of "knockout cuisine."
Kathy: [fighting to stay awake] It's like we're all under a sleeping curse or something.
Emilia: [voice fading] I can't... keep my... eyes open...
[As the contestants from both teams battle to stay awake, Chef watches from a distance, his smirk widening. The effects of his cooking are more potent than anyone could have imagined, and he revels in the chaos unfolding before him.]
[As the contestants succumb to the effects of the tainted meal, one by one they fall into a deep slumber. The lodge becomes eerily quiet, with only the soft sounds of their breathing filling the air. Zane, as the last one standing, fights against the overwhelming drowsiness, determined to stay awake.]
Zane: [struggling to keep his eyes open] How... could we... be so... dumb? It's... obvious... the food... is... poisoned...
[His words hang in the silence, but there is no one left to hear them. Zane fights against his heavy eyelids, his mind racing as he tries to piece together what has happened. The realization dawns upon him, but it's too late. Exhaustion takes its toll, and Zane, too, finally succumbs to the sleep-inducing poison, collapsing onto the floor.]
[The scene fades to black, ending the episode with an air of mystery and anticipation for what will unfold next. ]

My notes:
This definitely came out later than I expected but I think it was worthy. I had to change many things. Some characters that didn't fit the plotline I have in mind, challenges, the outline for this specific episode and the way they're even introduced. I just hope you like it as much as I loved writing it.
Now, I am curious about your thoughts. I know this chapter is not much to go for but I want to know:
What did you think about the outline for this episode?
Who are your favorite campers so far?
Who do you think is going to win the whole thing?
And what about the first boots?
Elimination order in general?
And, to be honest, something I haven't thought was what their voices would sound like but I think that you can be creative with it and imagine them in your head.
Oh, and by the way, I took inspiration for this last part from xmon323's story "Total Drama: Elemental Islands" because I liked the organization he had there and how it was worded. Thank you!
Check out "Goodeyemight". It's his characters. He has awesome fan work. Go give him some support on his social media.
It feels great finally finishing the first chapter of this story after such a long time! I really hope y'all like it.
This is all I wanted to talk about. See you all when I finish the next episode!
