Okay, I know I took a while posting this episode but I, seriously, couldn't write anything for days. I was on a massive writers' block here and didn't know how to continue writing the episode from some point on.
However, it's here now and I hope you enjoy it, even though I think it's not that good. Maybe I think that because of how much time I spent looking at it incomplete and now I just want to release it once and for all!
Please, don't forget to leave a review. I would love to receive more reviews about the episodes, the characters, some of your predictions, everything you have in mind. Even, some fair criticism.
Thank you very much and with no further ado, let's get to the episode!
[Chris stands on the dock of Camp Wawanakwa, a mischievous smirk on his face as he prepares to recap the events of the previous episode.]
Chris: "Last time on Total Drama Wawanakwa, tensions reached an all-time high as the rivalry between Ana and Blaise intensified. Blaise really outdid himself this time, hitting a nerve by mentioning Ana's prosthetic arm. The heat between them was palpable, and things were about to get even more intense."
[Images flash on the screen, showcasing Ana and Blaise's confrontations and the moment when Blaise mentioned Ana's prosthetic arm.]
Chris: "In a surprising turn of events, Ana and Blaise found themselves paired up with Carlos for the challenge. Their uneasy alliance promised an explosive mix of teamwork and animosity."
[Scenes of Ana, Blaise, and Carlos strategizing together are displayed, capturing their complex dynamic.]
Chris: "The challenge for the day was a high-stakes game of Capture the Flag. The contestants armed themselves with paintball guns, unleashing a colorful battle as they fought to capture their opponents' flags and defend their own."
[Action-packed scenes of the contestants engaging in paintball warfare fill the screen, showcasing their agility and determination.]
Chris: "But amidst the chaos, one contestant stood out in their creepiness. Lucy, with her haunting presence, managed to send shivers down Danielle's spine. It was clear that Lucy had a unique way of making her presence known."
[A glimpse of Lucy chasing people with an axe and Danielle's terrified reactions is shown.]
Chris: "As the alliances formed and shattered, Danielle began plotting against Lucy, determined to eliminate the eerie contestant once and for all."
[Scenes of Danielle discussing her plans with other contestants and strategizing against Lucy are displayed.]
Chris: "And let's not forget, at the campfire ceremony, things got even more intense when Lucy, after finding out she was cut from the competition, made some rather unsettling remarks. She seemed to be a bit, um, upset about her elimination and didn't hold back in letting everyone know. Threats, drama, and all-around craziness, it was one unforgettable night!"
[The camera pans across the remaining contestants, showing their mixed reactions of relief, confusion, fear and determination.]
Chris: "With Lucy out of the picture, the competition heats up as our remaining contestants continue to battle it out for the ultimate prize. Who will rise to the challenge, and who will fall victim to the drama-filled twists and turns of Camp Wawanakwa? Find out right now on Total... Drama.. Wawanakwa!"
[The camera now fades out to the intro.]
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
[The scene opens with Emilia rummaging through her belongings, a look of frustration on her face. She has been searching for something and seems to be growing increasingly anxious.]
Emilia: "Where is it? I could have sworn I packed it. Ugh, this is so frustrating!"
[She continues searching, carefully going through each item, her determination unwavering. After a few more moments, her eyes widen with excitement as she finally spots what she's been looking for—her lost diary.]
Emilia: [grinning with relief] "Yes! Found it!"
[Emilia holds the diary in her hands, her fingers gently tracing its worn cover. She sits down on her bunk, taking a moment to collect her thoughts before opening it.]
Emilia: "It's been a while since I've had a chance to vent about my thoughts and experiences. Being on this island has been quite the rollercoaster, and this diary has always been my safe space."
[She opens the diary to a blank page, her pen hovering over the paper as she contemplates where to begin.]
[Emilia settles down on her bed, clutching the diary in her hands. She takes a deep breath before starting to write, pouring her frustrations and emotions onto the pages.]
[Emilia: "This whole experience on the island has been sucking so far. The challenges are grueling, the drama is exhausting, and I can't escape the nightmares that haunt me every night."]
[She hesitates for a moment, contemplating whether to continue, but then decides to be honest with herself.]
[Emilia: "I miss my brother. It feels like a part of me is missing without him here. The pain never really goes away, and being here just brings back memories that I'd rather forget."]
[Emilia's thoughts turn to the people she has encountered on the island, and she can't help but express her disappointment and frustration.]
[Emilia: "And as for the other contestants... most of them are just fake and out for themselves. Except for Zane. He's the only genuine person I've met here. He's kind, caring, and always there to lend a listening ear."]
[Emilia traces hearts around Zane's name, a small smile tugging at her lips. However, her moment of solace is interrupted as Danielle enters the Swift Deers' girl cabin, searching for Bri.]
Danielle: "Hey, have you seen Bri? She borrowed my hairbrush after my shower, and now I can't find her anywhere."
[Emilia's eyes dart to her hidden diary, a sense of panic momentarily overwhelming her.]
Emilia: [nervously] "Um, no, I haven't seen her. Sorry."
[But Danielle's sharp gaze doesn't miss the subtle shift in Emilia's behavior.]
Danielle: [smirking] "What are you hiding, Emilia? I saw that reaction. What's in your hands?"
[Emilia's heart pounds in her chest as she tries to come up with a response.]
Emilia: [defensively] "It's none of your business! Leave me alone!"
[The frustration and anger that had been building up within Emilia finally erupts, and she speaks rudely to Danielle before storming out of the cabin, leaving Danielle behind.]
Emilia: "Just stay out of my business, Danielle!"
[Danielle watches Emilia leave with a sinister smirk on her face.]
Danielle: "Oh, don't worry, Emilia. I'll find out your secrets one way or another."
[As the scene fades, tension hangs in the air, hinting at the brewing conflict between Emilia and Danielle, and the potential consequences of Danielle's determination to uncover Emilia's hidden truths.]
[Meanwhile, inside the Swift Deers boys' cabin, Dirk and Derek are engrossed in a game of Go Fish, sitting on the floor surrounded by cards.]
Derek: "Got any sevens?"
Dirk: "Go fish."
[Derek lets out a sigh, disappointed by Dirk's response. Just as they continue playing, Carlos enters the cabin, catching their attention.]
Carlos: [looking around the cabin] Dude, your cabin looks much bigger without a big workout zone like our cabin does."
[As Carlos enters the cabin and makes his comment about the size difference, Derek and Dirk exchange a glance, feigning suspicion about Carlos's presence in their cabin. They maintain a playful silence, their expressions mirroring their mischievous thoughts.]
Carlos: "So, mind if I join you guys? I could use a game to pass the time."
Derek: [playfully] "Hmm, let me think... You're from the opposing team. We don't usually play with the enemy."
[Carlos's face falls slightly, but before he can react, Derek quickly adds...]
Derek: "Nah, just kidding! Come on, take a seat!"
[Carlos smiles and joins Derek and Dirk on the floor.]
Carlos: "Thanks, guys."
[They shuffle the deck of cards, preparing for Carlos to join the game.]
Derek: "So, have you ever played Go Fish before?"
Carlos: "Yeah, it's been a while, but I remember the basics. Let's see if I can beat you guys."
[They all chuckle and begin the game, the tension from the earlier shower incident momentarily forgotten as they enjoy a light-hearted moment together.]
[Chris stands at the center of the camp, his voice booming through the loudspeaker.]
Chris: "Attention, campers! It's challenge time! Gather up at the designated spot!"
[The contestants quickly assemble, curious and excited about what awaits them.]
Chris: "Today's challenge is the Extreme Obstacle Course! Get ready for the most intense and thrilling experience you've had on this island so far!"
[As Chris speaks, the camera pans to reveal the obstacle course in the distance. It's an impressive and intimidating structure, featuring various obstacles such as climbing walls, mud pits and much more.]
[Bri leans in and whispers to Emilia, her voice filled with anticipation.]
Bri: "Wow, that looks insane! This is gonna be really tough."
[Before Emilia can respond, Chris interrupts their conversation.]
Chris: "Oh, you think it's gonna be tough? Buckle up, campers, because this is definitely gonna be the hardest challenge you've faced so far!"
[The contestants exchange nervous glances, realizing the magnitude of the upcoming challenge.]
[As Chris finishes his statement, Ramiro raises his hand, voicing his concern.]
Ramiro: "Hold on a minute! We're short a team member compared to the Swift Deers. That's not fair!"
[The other contestants nod in agreement, realizing the disadvantage they have in numbers.]
Chris: [smirking] "Ah, good observation, Ramiro. You're right, it wouldn't be fair to have an uneven playing field. But don't worry, I've got a solution for you. You can deliberate among yourselves to decide who's going to sit out this challenge for the Swift Deers team."
[The contestants exchange glances, realizing they need to come to a consensus. They huddle together to discuss their options.]
[The contestants gather in a huddle, deliberating on who they should, strategically, choose to sit out on this challenge from the opposing team.]
[Before the Hazardous Bears could deliberate on who they want to sit out from the Swift Deers, Emilia speaks up.]
Emilia: "Hey, guys, I think I should sit this one out. I'm not that athletic, and there are some important things I need to take care of back at the cabin."
[Zane looks at Emilia, a tinge of sadness and disappointment in his eyes, as he understands her decision.]
Chris: "Alright, now that we've settled that, it's time to deliberate who's going to go first in the obstacle course. Who's up for the challenge?"
[The contestants start discussing their strengths and strategies, weighing their options and deciding on the order in which they will tackle the daunting course.]
[The contestants continue their deliberation, discussing their strengths and strategies for the obstacle course. Blaise, unable to resist the opportunity to show off, confidently volunteers to go first.]
Blaise: "I'll go first, of course. Gotta set the bar high and show you all how a real athlete tackles this course."
[His egotistical remark elicits eye rolls and annoyed glances from some of the contestants, including Ana, who can't help but speak up.]
Ana: [annoyed] "Seriously, Blaise? You think you're some kind of athlete?"
Blaise: [smirking] "No, Ana, not just some athlete. I'm the athlete. Watch and learn.
[Ana shakes her head, clearly unimpressed by Blaise's self-proclaimed title.]
[As Blaise confidently asserts his position as the first contestant, Iris raises a valid point, suggesting that it might be more advantageous for Blaise to go last instead.]
Iris: "Blaise, wouldn't it make more sense for you to go last? That way, if there's any disadvantage we're facing, you can help us recover."
[Blaise, with a smirk on his face, responds in a mocking and annoying manner.]
Blaise: "Disadvantage? That will only happen if you let it happen. I'm ready to show you all how it's done from the very beginning. I'm the man, after all."
[His comment elicits a mix of exasperation and annoyance from some of the contestants. Ana rolls her eyes and crosses her arms.]
[Zane, observing the discussion and sensing the team's hesitation towards Blaise's egotistical attitude, steps forward, offering himself as an alternative.]
Zane: "You know what, guys? I'll take the first spot."
[The team members exchange nods and subtle expressions of agreement. Emilia winks at Zane, showing her support, while Derek chimes in with a playful jab.]
Derek: "That's right, Zane! Show Blaise what you've got!"
[The team chuckles at Derek's remark, lightening the mood and refocusing their attention on the upcoming challenge.]
[Meanwhile, in the Hazardous Bears team, Chris checks the time and notices the deliberation is taking longer than expected.]
Chris: "Alright, Swift Deers, you've made your decision. Let's get this challenge started! And Hazardous Bears, who's leading the pack?"
Blaise: "It's gonna be me, Chris. We've been over this."
[Ana, unable to contain her skepticism, murmurs to herself, expressing her doubts.]
Ana: "This is not a good idea..."
[Chris decides to proceed without further delay. He raises his hand and signals the start of the challenge.]
Chris: "On your marks, get set, go!"
[Both Zane and Blaise take off simultaneously, their focus set on the first obstacle—the wall climb. Zane demonstrates agility and speed, swiftly scaling the wall with precise moves. Blaise, fueled by his determination to prove himself, matches Zane's pace, displaying his strength and competitive spirit.]
[As the challenge commences and Zane and Blaise race through the obstacles, Emilia takes the opportunity to retreat to the Swift Deers girls' cabin. Finding solace in her diary, she sits down and begins writing, pouring her thoughts and emotions onto the pages.]
[Emilia slumps onto her bed in the cabin, grabbing her diary and pen. Frustration evident on her face, she starts writing, venting her feelings:]
[Emilia: "I'm so tired of these never-ending challenges. How do they expect us to endure this? It's like they want to break us. Maybe they're all secretly masochists, finding joy in this madness. I can't take it anymore."]
[She pauses, recalling a strange encounter with Danielle earlier that morning.]
[Emilia: "Something strange happened this morning. Danielle came into my cabin, and it was such a weird interaction. I couldn't shake off the feeling that she was suspicious of something. She nearly caught me writing in my diary. I need to be more careful."]
[Meanwhile, on the obstacle course, Blaise and Zane find themselves navigating through a muddy pit. Blaise, with his overconfidence, slips and falls, much to Zane's amusement.]
Zane: [teasingly] "Oops, looks like you just caused an earthquake there, Blaise!"
[Blaise growls in frustration, angry at his misstep, while Zane chuckles and continues ahead, leaving Blaise behind.]
[While Zane and Blaise navigate through the muddy pit, Danielle approaches Iris with a seemingly friendly demeanor, putting on a manipulative act.]
Danielle: "Hey, Iris, we're friends, right?"
Iris: "Sure, Danielle. What do you need?"
Danielle: "Great! I need a favor from you. I'm a bit worried about Emilia, and I was hoping you could check on her for me."
Iris: "Why don't you check on her yourself?"
Danielle: "Oh, we had a little spat, you see. I don't want to bother her any further. But I do want to ensure her well-being. Can you convince her to come see the challenge? It's important she's not left alone."
[Iris is skeptical but agrees to fulfill her request, aware of the underlying motives behind it.]
[With a sense of obligation, Iris heads to Emilia's cabin. She enters the cabin and spots Emilia sitting on her bed, engrossed in her diary.]
Iris: "Hey, Emilia, mind if I join you for a moment?"
[Emilia looks up, a hint of surprise in her eyes.]
Emilia: "Sure, Iris. What's up?"
Iris: "Well, Danielle was asking about you. She's a bit worried and wanted me to check on you. She thought it would be nice if you came to see the challenge so you wouldn't be alone."
Emilia: "Danielle? Worried about me? That's unexpected, to say the least."
Iris: "Yeah, it caught me off guard too. But she said you had a little argument, and she didn't want to bother you more."
[Emilia hesitates for a moment, her trust in Danielle waning, but she ultimately decides to go along with Iris's suggestion.]
Emilia: "Alright, Iris. Let's go watch the challenge. I appreciate you looking out for me."
[Emilia and Iris leave the cabin, heading towards the challenge area. But as they take a few steps, Emilia's eyes widen as she realizes she left her diary exposed on her bed. Without a word, Emilia rushes back into the cabin, grabbing the diary and holding it close to her chest protectively.]
Emilia: "I can't believe I almost left this here. My thoughts and feelings, vulnerable for anyone to see."
[Iris watches Emilia with a mix of concern and curiosity, unsure of the significance of the diary. They continue their way to the challenge area, with Emilia clutching her diary tightly, ensuring its safety.]
[As Emilia and Iris make their way back towards the challenge area, Danielle's mischievous thoughts take hold. She realizes that Iris has likely succeeded in persuading Emilia to leave the cabin, leaving it unguarded. With a sly grin, Danielle seizes the opportunity to sneak into Emilia's cabin and search for her diary.]
[Quietly, Danielle enters the cabin, her eyes scanning the room for any sign of the diary. She meticulously goes through Emilia's belongings, turning the room upside down in her search. But to her disappointment, the diary remains elusive, carefully hidden from Danielle's prying eyes. Frustrated yet undeterred, Danielle vows to continue her search another time, determined to uncover Emilia's secrets.]
CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE
[Danielle smirks mischievously as she settles into the confessional booth, ready to share her thoughts on Emilia's elusive diary.]
Danielle: "Okay, seriously, where would a nerd like Emilia hide her diary?"
[As Blaise and Zane continue their challenge, Ramiro and Carlos, who are watching from the sidelines, engage in a lighthearted conversation.]
Ramiro: "You know, if Danielle was here, she would complain about the lack of class these two are showcasing."
Carlos: [chuckling] "That's true. But where did she go, though?"
[Ramiro looks around and notices that both Danielle and Iris are missing.]
Ramiro: "No idea. But hey, speaking of missing people, your girl is missing too."
Carlos: [innocently] "If you're talking about my mom, don't worry. She's at home watching the show."
[Carlos playfully breaks the fourth wall, waving at the camera and saying hello to his mom.]
Carlos: "Hello, Mom!"
[Ramiro facepalms and chuckles, realizing his mistake.]
Ramiro: "No, no. I was referring to Iris."
[Carlos, catching onto the situation, points towards Iris returning with Emilia.]
Carlos: "She's right there."
[Iris has a serious expression on her face, causing Ramiro's laughter to fade away.]
CONFESSIONAL - RAMIRO
[Ramiro speaks with a mischievous glint in his eyes.]
Ramiro: "Man, these girls have gone all nuts! But you know what? I think it's time for me to find out what's going on and use it!"
[He clenches his fist with a smirk, relishing the opportunity.]
Ramiro: "It's time to play this game strategistically. Yeah, you heard me right. I'm gonna outsmart them all and come out on top!"
[With a self-assured smirk, Ramiro unknowingly misspells "strategically," but confidently continues on, concluding the confessional.]
[Zane and Blaise find themselves navigating through a series of ropes and balancing beams, with Zane slightly ahead in the challenge. Their teammates on the Swift Deers side are cheering them on, and Kathy is particularly trying to impress Zane with her enthusiastic cheer, much to Emilia's jealousy.]
Kathy: [cheering loudly] "Go, Zane, you've got this! You're crushing it!"
[Emilia, feeling a tinge of jealousy, approaches Kathy with a request.]
Emilia: [trying to sound casual] "Hey, Kathy, why don't you cheer for Blaise too?"
Kathy: [confused] "Wait, Blaise? But he's on the other team."
Emilia: [feigning indifference] "Yeah, that's true. But it's just a friendly gesture. Good sportsmanship."
Kathy: [still puzzled] "Okay, if you say so."
[Emilia's jealousy grows, and she decides to take matters into her own hands.]
Emilia: [cheering for Blaise] "Go, Blaise! You've got this! Keep going!"
[Zane looks over at Emilia with a confused expression, wondering why she's cheering for Blaise.]
[Zane decides to ignore Emilia's confusing cheer and continues with the obstacle course. Both Blaise and Zane reach a zone where they have to hula hoop jump through platforms. The stakes are high, as falling would land them underwater with a group of alligators waiting below.]
[Derek, noticing the menacing setup, turns to Chris with a playful remark.]
Derek: "Alligators? Nice touch. Did you bring them all the way from Florida?"
[Chris, joining in the banter, responds with a smirk.]
Chris: "Actually, they're from a zoo nearby. We thought it would add some excitement."
[Derek chuckles and nods in appreciation.]
Derek: "Brutal. This just got even more intense."
[As Blaise and Zane approach the platforms, their faces show a mixture of determination and a hint of fear. Suddenly, Chris grabs the loudspeaker and decides to playfully add to the tension.]
Chris: [through the loudspeaker] "Just so you know, these alligators, to my knowledge, haven't been fed in weeks. They're starving!"
[Blaise and Zane exchange a nervous glance, their adrenaline pumping as they prepare to face the challenging obstacle, now with an added layer of danger.]
[Iris, feeling a sense of unease, approaches Ramiro and Carlos, wrapping her arms around them in a display of camaraderie. She can't help but feel suspicious and curious about Danielle's absence.]
Iris: "Hey, guys. Have you seen Danielle? I can't seem to find her anywhere."
[Ramiro and Carlos exchange uncertain glances, genuinely unaware of Danielle's whereabouts.]
Ramiro: "No, we haven't seen her. She must be around somewhere."
[Iris's suspicion lingers, but she decides not to voice her concerns just yet, keeping a watchful eye on the unfolding events.]
[On the other hand, Danielle's search for Emilia's diary in the cabin proves fruitless. She rummages through drawers and under the bed, but the diary remains elusive. Frustrated and unable to find what she's looking for, Danielle gives up and reluctantly leaves the cabin, joining the others at the challenge area.]
[As Danielle makes her way back, she can't shake the feeling of disappointment, but she puts on a confident facade, determined not to let her setback affect her gameplay.]
[Meanwhile, on the obstacle course, Blaise and Zane are facing the hula hoop jump through platforms, with hungry alligators lurking below.]
Zane: [nervously] "Man, those alligators look really hungry..."
Blaise: [trying to sound brave] "Yeah, but they won't get a taste of me."
[They both take a deep breath and begin the risky task, trying to jump through the hula hoops without faltering.]
[Derek playfully elbows Emilia, drawing her attention to Blaise's precarious situation on the hula hoop jump through platforms.]
Derek: "Hey, Emilia, check out Blaise. I bet he's going to fall for sure!"
[Emilia, fueled by a desire to make Zane jealous, decides to cheer Blaise on instead.]
Emilia: [cheering loudly] "Go, Blaise! You can do it! Keep going!"
[Blaise, surprised by Emilia's unexpected support, manages a quick glance and a grateful response.]
Blaise: "Thanks, babe!"
[Emilia can't help but smirk, satisfied with her small act of retaliation. Zane, noticing Emilia's cheering for Blaise, feels a pang of jealousy but tries to focus on his own performance, determined not to let it affect him.]
[Blaise and Zane continue navigating the hula hoop jump through platforms, getting closer to completing this part of the course. Emilia, fueled by a mix of competitiveness and a desire to make Zane jealous, cheers for Blaise once again.]
Emilia: "You're doing great, Blaise! Keep going!"
[Zane, growing angrier at Emilia's support for Blaise, loses his concentration and ends up falling into the lake full of alligators. Gasps of shock fill the air as everyone watches in disbelief. Blaise can't help but laugh at the situation and continues with the obstacle course.]
[Meanwhile, Kathy rushes to Zane's side, extending a helping hand.]
Kathy: "Zane, are you okay? That was a rough fall."
[Zane, still catching his breath, manages to reassure Kathy.]
Zane: "I'm fine, just a bit shaken. Thanks for helping me out."
[Kathy continues to support Zane, making sure he's steady before they both move away from the water. Zane may have fallen, but he's determined to shake off the setback and continue with the challenge.]
CONFESSIONAL - EMILIA
[Camera cuts to Emilia in the confessional booth.]
Emilia: [looking worried] "Did Zane just fall because of me?"
[Now, Emilia's expression becomes tinged with jealousy.]
Emilia: [with a hint of jealousy] "And what's with Kathy rushing to his side like that? Why does she have to be so helpful? I thought we had something."
[Emilia takes a deep breath, attempting to shake off her jealousy and refocus on the challenge at hand.]
CONFESSIONAL - ZANE
[Camera cuts to Zane in the confessional booth.]
Zane: "I don't get it. Why was Emilia cheering for Blaise? He's from the opposing team. Is she trying to make me jealous? Is this some kind of game to her?"
[Zane's face shows a mix of confusion and frustration as he tries to make sense of Emilia's actions.]
Zane: "Maybe she's just playing with my emotions. I thought we had something."
[He lets out a sigh, contemplating the situation and wondering if he should confront Emilia about her behavior.]
[As the scene continues, Roderick leans toward Jackie, trying to flirt and make a comment.]
Rodrick: "Hey, Jackie, would you appreciate it if I helped you in that kind of situation too?"
[Jackie, visibly annoyed with Rodrick's flirting attempts and fed up with his presence, responds sharply.]
Jackie: [with annoyance] "You know what, Rodrick? I'd prefer if you just left me to drown and be eaten by the alligators. And for the record, I don't need your help. I can take care of myself just fine."
[Rodrick, taken aback by Jackie's response, lets out a chauvinistic comment, revealing his true colors.]
Rodrick: [with a misogynistic tone] "Typical. Girls always say they can handle themselves until they actually need a man's help."
[Jackie, not willing to engage in further conversation with Rodrick, rolls her eyes and turns her attention back to the challenge, dismissing his presence entirely.]
CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK
[Camera cuts to Rodrick in the confessional booth, looking slightly flustered.]
Rodrick: "Did you all see that? She totally needs me, right?"
[Rodrick tries to shrug it off with false confidence.]
Rodrick: "Yeah, she'll come back crawling for me."
[His expression turns briefly concerned, but he quickly masks it.]
Rodrick: "Definitely."
[The confession ends with Rodrick trying to maintain his bravado, despite his underlying insecurity about the situation.]
[Blaise reaches the part after the hula hoop jumping where he has to army crawl through mud to evade electric wires. He starts crawling but quickly gets shocked, causing him to pause.]
Blaise: "Ouch! This is ridiculous. I'm too big to fit through this!"
[Chris, seizing the opportunity to tease Blaise, mockingly asks a question.]
Chris: "Did you just call yourself fat, Blaise?"
[Blaise, annoyed by Chris's comment, clarifies his statement.]
Blaise: "No, Chris! I meant to say that I'm too muscular for this kind of crawling!"
[Chris smirks, enjoying Blaise's frustration, while Blaise tries to regain his composure and continue with the challenge.]
[Blaise, determined to overcome the obstacles, manages to complete the challenging crawl through the mud. He reaches a door that can only be opened by solving a puzzle.]
Blaise: "Alright, time to put my brain to work."
[Bri, standing nearby, chuckles timidly and comments to Dirk, who is close to her.]
Bri: "Looks like Blaise is screwed with that puzzle."
[Dirk laughs along and adds his own remark.]
Dirk: "Yeah, there's no way that smooth brain is capable of completing that."
[As Dirk and Bri share a lighthearted moment, Dirk wraps his arm around Bri, causing her face to flush with embarrassment. Despite her shyness, Bri remains silent, secretly enjoying the closeness.]
[Back to the obstacle course, Blaise encounters several difficulties while attempting to solve the puzzle. Ramiro, seizing the opportunity to taunt him, starts making snide remarks.]
Ramiro: "Hey, Blaise, looks like your brain muscles aren't as strong as your real ones!"
[Blaise, determined to shut Ramiro up, focuses intensely on the puzzle. After a few tense moments, he successfully completes it, winning a point for their team.]
[Blaise doesn't say a word but wears a smug look on his face, relishing in his victory. Chris acknowledges the achievement.]
Chris: "And the Hazardous Bears score a point!"
[Chris turns his attention to the next pair of contestants, Iris and Derek, who are standing at their positions, ready to take on the next challenge.]
Chris: "Alright, next up, Iris and Derek! Get ready to climb that wall!"
[Iris and Derek exchange determined glances, psyching themselves up for the task at hand. Chris gives the signal.]
Chris: "Ready, set, go!"
[The race to climb the wall begins as Iris and Derek put their strength and agility to the test.]
[After Derek and Iris successfully climb the wall without much trouble, they proceed to the next obstacle, a muddy pit. As they navigate through the slippery terrain, Iris loses her footing and falls.]
Iris: "Whoa!"
[Derek, noticing Iris's fall, quickly extends his hand to help her up. Iris gratefully accepts the assistance and smiles at Derek.]
[They continue together at the same pace, supporting each other through the challenging course.]
[Meanwhile, Jackie, feeling mischievous, decides to take a playful jab at Rodrick. She leans closer to him, her tone teasing.]
Jackie: "You know, Rodrick, you could learn a thing or two from your cousin."
[Rodrick, rolling his eyes in response, dismisses Jackie's comment.]
Rodrick: "As if."
[Despite Rodrick's dismissive response, a hint of annoyance lingers as he wonders if Jackie's remark holds some truth.]
[Iris and Derek reach the hula hoop jumping obstacle, where they have to navigate through platforms while alligators lurk below. Iris looks down at the alligators, feeling a mix of caution and unease. Suddenly, one of the alligators waves at her with an innocent smile, but it's evident that the alligator's true intention is to devour them.]
[Iris gulps nervously as she observes the alligators, unsure of what to expect. Meanwhile, Derek maintains his focus and takes the lead, showing no signs of fear. He jumps from platform to platform with agility, navigating the hula hoop jumping obstacle effortlessly.]
[Iris gathers her courage, deciding to push past her unease and follow Derek's lead. With determination, she jumps through the platforms, ignoring the intimidating presence of the alligators below. Despite her initial hesitation, she manages to complete the obstacle, determined not to let fear hold her back.]
[Both Iris and Derek successfully navigate the hula hoop jumping challenge.]
[As Iris and Derek successfully navigate the hula hoop jumping challenge, the atmosphere lightens up a bit. Leon, known for his comedic relief, takes a moment to add a humorous comment, attempting to alleviate the tension.]
Leon: "Hey, guys! I gotta say, I'm as hungry as those alligators down there. Well, maybe even hungrier!"
[Dirk chuckles lightly at Leon's comment, finding his humor amusing.]
[However, standing beside Dirk, Bri becomes increasingly perturbed by the nature of the challenge as a whole. As a vegan and an advocate for animal welfare, seeing the alligators being used as a source of danger deeply troubles her.]
Dirk: "Hey, what's up, Bri?"
Bri: "You know, Dirk, this challenge doesn't sit right with me. Those alligators belong in an environment where they are treated well, not in a setting where they are reduced to being mere sources of danger."
[Bri expresses her concern, emphasizing the importance of treating animals with respect and providing them with appropriate habitats.]
[Dirk, noticing Bri's unease, places a caring and understanding hand on her shoulder, showing his support and empathy for her concerns.]
[As Dirk offers his support, the focus shifts back to Derek and Iris on the obstacle course. They find themselves in another muddy pit, this time needing to army crawl to evade electric wires. With agility and coordination, they maneuver through the wires without any problems, reaching the puzzle section of the challenge simultaneously.]
[Both Derek and Iris stand side by side, ready to put their problem-solving skills to the test as they face the puzzle challenge together.]

Chris: "On your marks, ready, set, go!"
[Dirk and Ramiro approach the wall they need to climb. Dirk takes the lead while Ramiro struggles to ascend.]

[Ramiro glares at Derek, his frustration evident as he continues to struggle with the wall.]
[Meanwhile, Dirk has already reached the mud pit, but he slips and slides all the way to the hula hoop jumping challenge. He manages to regain his footing at the edge, narrowly avoiding falling into the water infested with alligators. Dirk looks down, visibly terrified by the dangerous situation.]
[As Dirk looks down, visibly terrified by the presence of alligators in the water, Leon notices his distress. He projects his voice with his hands, making sure Dirk can hear him.]

[Leon's encouraging words echo across the challenge area, offering Dirk some reassurance and reminding him to focus on staying calm and composed.]

[With the mention of the danger below, Dirk's voice trails off, expressing his overwhelming fear. Despite his limited words, the intensity of his emotions is palpable.]
[Just as Dirk mentions the crocodiles, Chris interrupts with his loudspeaker, seizing the opportunity to correct him.]
Chris: "Ahem, excuse me, Dirk! Those down there are alligators, not crocodiles! Let's get the reptile facts straight."
[Ramiro lets out a wicked chuckle, thoroughly enjoying Dirk's terrified state. He sees an opportunity to assert his dominance and sabotage his opponent. Without a moment's hesitation, Ramiro boldly jumps onto the same platform as Dirk, and with a forceful push, he sends Dirk plummeting into the water infested with alligators. The onlookers gasp in shock and disbelief at Ramiro's ruthless act, their anger bubbling up.]

Kathy: "I'll take this one. Let's even the score!"
[On the other hand, the Hazardous Bears, aware of Danielle's lack of participation so far, decide it's time for her to step up and face Kathy.]
Blaise: "Come on, Danielle. It's about time you contribute to the team."
[Danielle's face contorts with frustration and annoyance, but she begrudgingly accepts the challenge, realizing she can't escape her turn any longer.]

Rodrick: "Exactly. It's like she never worked out before."
[Danielle grits her teeth, frustration evident on her face as she tries to regain her composure and find a way to overcome the obstacle.]
CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE
[Cut to a confessional booth where Danielle, with an air of superiority, addresses the camera.]
Danielle: "Duhhh! Of course not. In school, I always make sure I have medical certificates to skip gym class. Can you imagine what it would be like if I was walking around all sweaty? It's just not my style."
[She flips her hair dismissively, a self-assured smirk on her face just before the confessional ends.]
[As Kathy confidently proceeds through the muddy pit, Danielle finally reaches the same obstacle. She looks down at the mud, visibly repulsed and concerned about dirtying her refined shoes.]
Danielle: "Ugh! I can't possibly go through there. Look at this mud! It's absolutely disgusting. I refuse to ruin my refined shoes for this silly challenge."
[Danielle's bratty and superior attitude begins to annoy the other participants, who watch her struggle with a mix of irritation and amusement. Ramiro seizes the opportunity to make a sarcastic comment, directed at the watching crowd.]
Ramiro: "Well, guys, looks like we'll be waiting until we reach our 50s to see Danielle cross the muddy pit! She's taking her sweet, sweet time."
[As Danielle stands at the edge of the muddy pit, she decides to turn away from the challenge, climbing back down the wall and effectively quitting the obstacle course. Her teammates can only glare at her, their frustration boiling over.]
[Ana, frustrated by Danielle's behavior, confronts her with anger, questioning her decision to quit the challenge.]
Ana: "What do you think you're doing, Danielle?"
[Danielle, unbothered by Ana's reaction, dismisses her with a wave of her hand.]
Danielle: "Oh, please. Of course you wouldn't understand the importance of refinement and elegance. What was I expecting from you anyway?"
[Enraged by Danielle's arrogance, Ana takes matters into her own hands, deciding to teach her a lesson. Without hesitation, she pushes Danielle into the pool with the alligators, shocking everyone present.]
[As Danielle finds herself in the pool with the alligators, the atmosphere shifts from shock to amusement. Laughter erupts from the other participants, unable to contain their delight at Danielle's misfortune. The tension that had been building throughout the challenge is momentarily replaced with a lighthearted moment of comedy..]
[Meanwhile, an alligator approaches Danielle, its movement causing her to freeze in fear. However, instead of attacking her, the alligator surprises everyone by affectionately licking her face. The onlookers burst into even louder laughter at this unexpected display of "affection."]
[Danielle, now thoroughly disgusted and furious, scrambles out of the pool, frantically wiping away the alligator's slobbery lick. She glares at the laughing crowd, seething with anger at the humiliation she has endured.]
[Meanwhile, while everyone was distracted by the chaotic events involving Danielle, Kathy manages to successfully navigate the entire obstacle course, completing it with impressive speed and precision. She secures the first point for her team, the Swift Deers, much to their delight.]
[As the cheers and laughter from Danielle's mishap die down, Chris takes the opportunity to announce through his loudspeaker.]
Chris: "And Kathy has just scored a point for the Swift Deers! The score now stands at 3-1 still in favor of the Hazardous Bears."
[The announcement causes a wave of excitement and renewed energy among the participants. The Swift Deers celebrate Kathy's achievement, their spirits lifted by the boost in score. The Hazardous Bears, on the other hand, feel a small dent in their lead, realizing that their victory is not guaranteed just yet.]

[Chris grabs the loudspeaker once again, ready to kickstart the next round.]

[As the anticipation builds, the participants focus their attention on Rodrick and Jackie, eager to witness their performance in the challenge.]
[Jackie and Rodrick take their positions, preparing for the next round. As they face each other, Rodrick can't help but comment on the coincidence of them being pitted against each other.]
Rodrick: "Well, well, Jackie. What a coincidence that we're going head-to-head, huh?"
[Jackie, exuding confidence, responds with a playful smirk.]
Jackie: "Coincidence or not, Rodrick, I'm ready to make you eat mud, literally. Just a friendly warning."
[Leon and Dirk, observing the exchange, exchange amused glances and give each other a high five.]
Leon: "Nice one! Jackie's got some good comebacks."
Dirk: "She's learning from the best, us."
[As the tension rises and Chris prepares to kickstart the next round, he gets ready to give the signal..]
Chris: "Alright, ready, set, go!"
[Rodrick and Jackie waste no time and swiftly approach the wall, their focus unwavering. With determination, they begin their ascent, showcasing their agility and strength as they climb the wall with relative ease.]
[As Rodrick and Jackie advance to the muddy pit, Jackie slides through it unintentionally, losing her balance and falling to the ground. Concerned, Rodrick rushes over to her and kneels down.]
Rodrick: "Are you okay, Jackie?"
[Jackie, with a sarcastic tone, responds.]
Jackie: "Oh, do you think I'm fine? Obviously, I'm having the time of my life covered in mud."
[Rodrick offers his hand to help her up, but as he reaches out, he loses his footing and slips, falling on top of Jackie. For a few seconds, they both remain embarrassed and silent, the awkwardness hanging in the air. Finally, Jackie pushes Rodrick off her, breaking the intimate moment between them.]
Jackie: "Get off me already!
[After Jackie pushes Rodrick off her, she stands up, her body covered in mud. Rodrick rises to his feet as well, the both of them looking slightly disheveled and embarrassed.]
CONFESSIONAL - JACKIE
[Jackie, in a confessional booth, speaks candidly about the situation.]
Jackie: "Well, not only am I covered head to toe in mud, but now I've got Rodrick's germs all over me. This calls for a nice, long shower. I'll have to scrub myself clean and make sure I'm rid of all this mess and any lingering cooties."
[Rodrick and Jackie approach the next challenge, the hula hoop jumps over a lake infested with alligators. They exchange glances, feeling a mixture of anticipation and intimidation as they look down at the water below them. The tension in the air is palpable as they mentally prepare themselves for the daring task ahead.]
[Rodrick couldn't resist a mischievous thought as he watched Jackie standing there, covered in mud. With a sly grin, he playfully pushes her off the platform, causing her to splash into the water. As Jackie emerges from the water, she calls him out, accusing him of doing it on purpose.]
Jackie: "You did that on purpose, didn't you? You're such a stupid jerk!"
[However, their banter comes to a halt as an alligator approaches Jackie, causing Rodrick's expression to shift from amusement to concern. Without thinking, he jumps into the water to save her, driven by pure instinct.]
[In that split second, Rodrick's protective nature takes over, overriding any animosity or prankster tendencies. He acts without hesitation, diving into the water to rescue Jackie from the potential danger.]
[Rodrick shouts to Jackie, reassuring her that he will save her from the approaching alligator.]
Rodrick: "Don't worry, Jackie! I'll save you!"
[Startled by the alligator's presence, Jackie questions Rodrick, asking him what he means by saving her.]
Jackie: "Save me from what?"
[As the alligator approaches, Jackie calmly approaches it and pats its head, surprising Rodrick who appears confused and speechless.]
[With a playful smile, Jackie responds to Rodrick's confusion.]
Jackie: "Didn't I tell you that I used to be a scout? And apart from that, I've always liked the wilderness and all types of animals. I'm used to dealing with all kinds of them."
[Jackie's ease and comfort around the alligator leaves Rodrick impressed and somewhat in awe, realizing there's more to her than he initially thought.]
[As Jackie and Rodrick emerge from the water, dripping wet and slightly stunned by their encounter with the alligator, Chris's voice resonates through the loudspeaker, breaking the silence.]
Chris: "Well, I guess we can call it a draw for this round! Since both of our contestants took an unexpected dive, let's move on to the next round. The score remains 3-1 for the Hazardous Bears."
[As Jackie and Rodrick stand there, recovering, Jackie takes a moment to address Rodrick.]
Jackie: "You know, Rodrick, sometimes I just don't understand you. One moment, you act like a misogynistic jerk, and the next, you're willing to jump in and save me from an alligator. It's like you're full of contradictions."
[Rodrick listens to Jackie's words, feeling a mix of surprise and self-reflection. He realizes that his actions and behavior can be confusing and inconsistent.]
[Meanwhile, Jackie can't resist adding a playful jab, wanting to tease Rodrick a bit.]
Jackie: "But hey, I guess throwing this challenge for me shows that you do have a soft spot after all. Should've gone for the win, huh? Missed your chance!"
[Jackie's mocking tone and playful smirk leave Rodrick feeling a mix of annoyance and regret, realizing that he might have missed an opportunity to prove himself.]

Rodrick: "Ugh, I should've gone for the win."
[Rodrick's regret is evident, realizing that his attempt to help Jackie might not have been the best decision in the end. He keeps his confession brief, but the weight of his words reveals his inner turmoil.]

Carlos: "Ah, my sneakers! The soles are worn out!"
[Carlos proceeds cautiously, taking slow and deliberate steps to avoid slipping. Ana watches from the sidelines, puzzled by his slow progress.]
Ana: "What is he doing? Why is he going so slowly?"

Dirk: "Bri, don't look below. Focus on the task ahead. You've got this!"
[Just as Dirk tries to boost Bri's confidence, Leon jumps in with a playful yet unhelpful suggestion.]
Leon: "Oh, come on, Bri! Look right into the alligators' eyes and assert dominance! Show them who's in charge!"
[Dirk, seeing Leon's intervention as unnecessary, taps him lightly on the shoulder to indicate that his joke was unhelpful and unwelcome.]
[As both Carlos and Bri reach the hula hoop jumps, they find themselves side by side, facing the next obstacle together. Bri takes the lead, confidently leaping through the hoops, while Carlos follows closely behind, determined not to let his worn-out sneakers hinder his progress.]
[With their successful completion of the hula hoop jumps, Carlos and Bri move on to the next challenge—the army crawling through the mud. As they approach the muddy section, they lower themselves down, ready to navigate the slippery terrain on their hands and knees.]
[With each crawl forward, they feel the resistance of the mud against their bodies, making the task more challenging. However, both Carlos and Bri push through, their determination unwavering. Danielle: "Forget what I said about Ramiro. Ana gotta go next. She's a threat."
[Danielle's self-assured demeanor reveals her intentions to target Ana for elimination, viewing her as a significant obstacle in her pursuit of victory. She believes that removing Ana from the competition will give her a strategic advantage.]
[Leon fights through the muddy path, enduring the jolts of electricity from the wires above. The shocks only fuel his determination, and with each surge, he grits his teeth and perseveres. Finally, he reaches the door where Ana is already engrossed in solving the puzzle. The competitive spirit between them intensifies as they realize they are in a head-to-head face-off.]

CONFESSIONAL - LEON
[Leon, with a grin on his face and a hint of sarcasm in his voice, speaks his mind about the challenge.]
Leon: "Wow, that was almost unfair! I mean, seriously, if I were a Karen, I would totally demand to speak to the manager of this show. Demanding a rematch or something!"
[Leon chuckles, clearly aware of the humorous exaggeration of his words, and lets out a sigh.]
[As the Hazardous Bears celebrate their victory, Chris takes the opportunity to announce the rewards and consequences for both teams.]

Emilia: "Just fine, thanks."
[Zane, wanting to break the ice and avoid the topic of the challenge events, looks at the book in her hands.]
Zane: "What are you reading?"
Emilia: "Oh, just a stupid book about astrology."
Zane: "You like astrology?"
[Emilia shakes her head, indicating her lack of interest.]
Emilia: "No, it's one of the many books my parents forced me to take here with me."
[Zane's eyebrows furrow with concern as he probes further.]
Zane: "Forced you? That doesn't sound right."
[Emilia simply nods, not wanting to delve into the topic any further, her eyes returning to the pages of the book.]
CONFESSIONAL - ZANE
[Zane sits in the confessional booth, his expression filled with suspicion and concern.]
Zane: "Why would Emilia's parents force her to do something she doesn't want to do? Restricting her interests? Something doesn't add up."
[As the elimination ceremony approaches, both teams gather at the campfire pit, confusion evident on their faces. Rodrick, feeling puzzled, speaks up, questioning the purpose of their presence.]
Rodrick: "Why are we here? We won today's challenge. I don't get it."
[The contestants exchange glances, uncertainty filling the air, awaiting an explanation from Chris.]
[Chris steps forward, a mischievous grin on his face, ready to provide an explanation to the confused contestants.]
Chris: "Well, folks, here's the deal. Today, instead of eliminating someone from the Swift Deers, I thought it would be more fun to shake things up a bit. So, we're going to do some team reshuffling!"
[Gasps and murmurs fill the air as the contestants process Chris's announcement. It seems the game is about to take an unexpected turn.]
[Iris raises her voice, her expression filled with surprise and confusion.]

[Jackie sits in the confessional booth, frustration evident on her face as she vents about the team swap.]

[She lets out a sigh, expressing her exasperation.]
CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK
[Rodrick sits in the confessional booth, a smug expression on his face as he reflects on the team swap.]
Rodrick: "This team swap couldn't have worked out better for me. Now I'm on the same team as my stupid cousin, and I can torture him even more. Plus, I'll have more opportunities to be with Jackie without Bri being her shadow."
[His expression turns slightly flustered as he contemplates the prospect of spending more time with Jackie.]
[The scene shifts to the boys' cabin of the Swift Deers. Zane, Dirk, Leon, Derek, and now Rodrick are getting ready for bed, wearing their pajamas. As the lights are turned off, Derek lays his head on his pillow, ready to sleep. However, his peaceful moment is interrupted when he notices a spider crawling near him. Panic washes over him, and he lets out a scream, unable to control his arachnophobia.]
Derek: "Aaaah! Spider! Help!"
[The other boys wake up startled by Derek's sudden outburst, trying to figure out what's happening.]
Zane: "What's going on, Derek?"
Leon: "Are you okay? What happened?"
[Derek, still trembling with fear, points towards the spider.]
Derek: "Spider! Get it away from me!"
[While Derek's fear consumes him, Rodrick lies on his bed, turning to face the wall with a sly smirk on his face. He mutters to himself in a low voice.]
Rodrick: "Sweet dreams, cuz."
[Rodrick closes his eyes, ready to drift off to sleep. The camera fades to black, signaling the end of the episode.]
Hazardous Bears: Ana, Blaise, Carlos, Danielle, Iris, Ramiro, Bri
Swift Deers: Rodrick, Derek, Dirk, Leon, Emilia, Jackie, Kathy, Zane
Team swap: Bri goes from the Swift Deers to the Hazardous Bears and Rodrick goes from the Hazardous Bears to the Swift Deers
Yep! No one got eliminated this episode and Bri and Rodrick swapped teams. I've always had this idea of Rodrick switching teams because I think that being on the same team as Derek would be a cause of more drama. I just went with it because the Swift Deers seemed like they were all getting along too well. Rodrick ended up being the perfect solution for this as he has this...let's say..."strong personality".
And Emilia finally found her diary. Gotta say that, for now, if my plans do not change, Emilia's diary will play a big part in the story and, particularly, in her own development.
In the next episodes, I will focus on developing some of the characters' stories, explaining more why they act the way they do nowadays.
Also, I really hope no one got offended with this stereotypical joke that Derek made about the alligators. After I saw a documentary about alligators, days before I started writing this episode, I knew that I had to include them on it somehow and I, not only included them on the challenge, I also ended up thinking that making that joke would be funny and just put it there. But well, as far as I know, Florida does have a lot of alligators lol.
Anyways, I don't think there's more important stuff to address so I will see y'all in the next episode, I guess.
Please, do not forget to leave a review. That would motivate me a lot.
