Hello everyone! Episode 8 is finally here and once again I don't know if it's because I've spending so much time writing it but I don't quite like the outcome but you let me know!

Onto the reviews now!

Ryan: Ana was by far one of my favorites to write for but I had to eliminate her. As a character, she couldn't give much more this season but who knows what she could give in a future season? :D

I am really glad you liked the last episode and that you like Ramiro so much. He's definitely one of the characters I enjoy writing the most too, he's just so silly lol. Also glad you liked Jackie as well. By the way, about your most recent review, don't worry. I appreciate a lot the people that do read my story and you're not the only one. Even if you were, I wouldn't mind because I like writing a lot. What really upsets me is the reviews. Feedback is the thing I appreciate the most. Views on my story are just numbers on the screen that don't really speak to me. But anyway, I hope you like this episode!

So yeah, let's get to the episode itself.

Chris: "Last time on Total Drama Wawanakwa..."

[The camera comes to light, revealing Chris standing on the dock with his signature smirk.]

Chris: "The campers faced their fears in a bunch of underground challenges, navigating through dark tunnels and encountering some spine-chilling surprises!"

[Clips show the campers crawling through tight spaces and facing various creepy challenges.]

Chris: "But what really stole the show was the intense rivalry between Derek and Rodrick! These two have never seen eye to eye, and now that they're on the same team, the sparks are flying!"

[The camera switches to scenes of Derek and Rodrick clashing during the challenge.]

Chris: "Meanwhile, Bri seemed to adjust just fine to her new team. Looks like she's fitting right in, making new friends and building connections!"

[Clips show Bri bonding with Iris and other members of the Hazardous Bears.]

Chris: "And yes! I orchestrated that little twist for some extra drama! Vicious, right? But hey, that's what you signed up for!"

[Chris suddenly points directly at the camera, with a mischievous grin.]

Chris: "The Hazardous Bears ended up losing yet another challenge. And after being seen as a major threat by some of her teammates, Ana's fate was sealed. Also, Blaise, who had shown a glimmer of trust during the challenge, broke that trust by helping voting her off the island. In the end, Ana's time on Total Drama Wawanakwa was cut short."

[The camera pans to the Dock of Shame, where Ana's boat has already departed.]

Chris: "And after the intense campfire ceremony, little did we know, some unexpected developments were happening in the Swift Deers cabin!"

[The camera transitions to the Swift Deers boys' cabin at night.]

Chris: "While everyone else was fast asleep, Derek and Rodrick had a surprising heart-to-heart conversation. Yep, you heard it right! These two finally put their differences aside and had a real, genuine talk."

[Flashbacks show Derek and Rodrick having a serious conversation, with Rodrick opening up about his mom's condition.]

Chris: "It turns out, all it took was a moment of vulnerability for Rodrick to share his worries about his sick mom. And surprisingly, Derek actually listened and understood, gaining some insight into his cousin's life."

[Chris chuckles mockingly, enjoying the irony of the situation.]

Chris: "Well, now, Ana's gone, and it might seem wrong, but who will rise as the new leader and who will fall behind? And how will this truce between Derek and Rodrick end up? Will it last, or is it just a temporary ceasefire? Find out right here in another episode of Total... Drama... Wawanakwa!"

[The camera now fades out to the intro.]

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,

You guys are on my mind and now I think the answer is plain to see,

I wanna be famous.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day.

Cause, I wanna be famous!

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

[Camera opens to the Hazardous Bears' boys' cabin, where Blaise is shown lifting dumbbells with a focused and somber expression. The camera zooms in on him, capturing the intensity of his workout. The sound of heavy breathing and clinking weights fills the room, emphasizing the seriousness of the moment.]

CONFESSIONAL - BLAISE

[Blaise's expression remains stoic as he addresses the camera, the intensity in his eyes reflecting his determination.]

Blaise: "Voting out Ana in the last elimination was a strategic move. It didn't faze me. But seeing the disappointment in her eyes... it reminded me of my old man and how nothing I did was ever enough for him."

[Blaise clenches his fists tightly, his emotions hidden beneath his tough exterior.]

Blaise: "I won't let anyone make me feel inadequate again. Not here. Not ever."

[Meanwhile, in the infirmary, Carlos is still recovering from the snake bite injuries, and Iris sits by his side, looking concerned.]

Iris: "Are you really okay, Carlos?"

Carlos: "I'm feeling much better compared to a couple of days ago. The antivenom really helped."

[Carlos takes a deep breath, looking worried.]

Carlos: "But I'm afraid I might not be able to join the team for the next challenge. I don't want to be a burden."

Iris: "Hey, don't worry about that. Your health is the priority. We'll manage, and you just focus on getting better."

[Carlos smiles faintly, appreciating Iris' concern.]

Carlos: "Thanks, Iris. I hate that I can't be out there with you all."

Iris: "We'll make sure you're included, one way or another. For now, just rest and get back on your feet. We'll keep you updated on everything."

[Carlos nods, grateful for Iris' support, and he tries to relax, knowing he's in good hands with his team.]

[Iris becomes worried and confused as Carlos starts complaining of pain in his back.]

Iris: "What's happening, Carlos?"

Carlos: "It's some of the bites on my back. The antivenom helped, but the bites are still healing. It feels like stitches."

[Carlos winces as he tries to find a more comfortable position.]

Carlos: "This position I'm in isn't helping either."

[Iris quickly tries to alleviate his discomfort, her concern evident in her voice.]

Iris: "Here, let's try something. Just lay down on your stomach, it might relieve some pressure. And I'll get you an extra pillow for support."

[Iris gently helps Carlos shift onto his stomach, and she places the extra pillow under his abdomen for support.]

Carlos: "Thanks, Iris. That feels better."

Iris: "You're welcome. If you need anything else, just let me know. I'll stay with you until you feel more comfortable."

Carlos: "Why are you being so helpful, Iris? You're like... my mom, or maybe even extra protective."

[He says teasingly, trying to lighten the mood.]

Iris: [smiling softly] "Well, your mom must be a really good mom then. Being protective of our loved ones isn't a bad thing. It just shows how much we care and worry about them."

Carlos: [innocently] "I'm sure any mom would do what you're doing right now if their child were in my position. But you're right, my mom is an incredible mom."

[Carlos then becomes more serious, still curious about Iris' concern.]

Carlos: "But you didn't answer my question. Why are you so worried about me?"

[As Carlos becomes more serious, Iris starts to stutter, clearly unsure of how to respond. The real reason she's helping is because she genuinely cares about him and likes him, but she can't bring herself to say that outright.]

Iris: "I, um, well, you know... it's just, uh, I... I care about all my teammates, and, uh, I want everyone to be okay. It's, um, just the right thing to do."

[Before Iris can continue stumbling over her words, Chris' booming voice interrupts their conversation, saving her from having to give a more direct answer.]

[As Chris' voice booms over the loudspeaker, Iris feels a wave of relief wash over her, grateful for the interruption.]

Chris: "Attention campers! Time for breakfast at the main lodge. Report there as soon as possible!"

Iris: "Oh, um, I guess I gotta go now. Bye."

CONFESSIONAL - IRIS

[In a confessional, Iris lets out a relieved sigh.]

Iris: "Saved by the loudspeaker."

[Iris tries to hide her nervousness as she quickly gets up from her seat in the infirmary and leaves. Carlos watches her go, a puzzled expression on his face, but he doesn't press her for more answers right now. He knows that they have a challenge to focus on, and he'll have to address his curiosity about Iris's concern later.]

[The campers start making their way to the main lodge, with Ramiro being the last one to receive his breakfast. He holds his tray, and as he approaches the kitchen, a delicious smell wafts through the air.]

Ramiro: "Hmm, by the smell, I bet it wasn't you who cooked today, Chef."

[Ramiro smirks, trying to taunt and mock Chef, who is in charge of cooking at the camp. Chef glares back at him, clearly not amused by the comment.]

Chef: "Watch your mouth, kid. I've been slaving over this stove since sunrise. You better appreciate the food I serve."

[Ramiro chuckles and takes his breakfast, not fazed by Chef's aggressive response. He finds a seat at his team's table, looking quite pleased with himself.]

[With his breakfast in hand, Ramiro playfully raises his hand as he sits with his team at the Hazardous Bears' table. He smirks mischievously, ready to make a provocative statement.]

Ramiro: "Alright, who thinks Chef didn't cook today's breakfast? Raise your hand!"

[However, to Ramiro's disappointment, everyone at the table ignores his antics as Iris speaks up to address the team: Danielle, Bri, Ramiro, and Blaise (Carlos is still absent due to his injuries).]

Iris: "Guys, we really need to step up our game. Losing Ana was tough, and we can't afford to keep losing more teammates. We have to work together better, communicate more, and support each other during the challenges. We can't let our rivalries get in the way."

[Blaise, getting a bit defensive, retorts.]

Blaise: "And who made you the team leader?"

[Iris remains calm but firm.]

Iris: "No one did. I'm just stating the obvious. We have to work as a team if we want to have any chance of winning challenges and staying in the game."

[Bri nods in agreement.]

Bri: "Iris is right. We need to put our differences aside and focus on working together."

[Iris nods in agreement, but Ramiro can't help but roll his eyes, clearly not pleased with Bri's intervention.]

Ramiro: "Of course, you had to support your friend. She's wrong. What you all need is to step up, get better, and work harder in those challenges. I even suggest everyone starts a daily routine of intense workout"

[Blaise, not one to back down, jumps into the conversation, taking a jab at Ramiro.]

Blaise: "Oh yeah, like you're the one to talk about that. Because you definitely need that routine. That's for sure."

[Ramiro suddenly feels a pang of embarrassment, looking down and quickly zipping up his jacket to cover his belly. He tries to play it cool, but the comment clearly hit a nerve.]

[Ramiro rolls his eyes at Blaise's comment, clearly annoyed. But before he can respond, Danielle steps in, seemingly unfazed by the tension.]

Danielle: "Yeah, Ramiro, you should start working out. Maybe that's why you've never kissed anyone. Losing some pounds would help in that department."

[Ramiro narrows his eyes, clearly irritated by Danielle's insult. He's about to retort when Bri chimes in, looking confused.]

Bri: "Wait, where did you get that phone? Didn't the robots from the last challenge break it?"

[Danielle smirks, still focused on her phone.]

Danielle: "Well, Chef will keep doing whatever I want as long as keep I telling him fake but believable promises. So, he got me this phone."

[Bri's expression switches from confusion to annoyance, clearly unimpressed by Danielle's manipulative ways. Meanwhile, Iris simply shakes her head and mutters something.]

Iris: "Diva."

[At the Swift Deers table, Zane takes the first bite of his breakfast and immediately makes a face of disgust, trying hard to swallow it.]

Zane: "Ugh, from good, only the smell. This tastes horrible."

[Kathy, sitting across from Zane, chuckles at his reaction.]

Kathy: "Oh, come on, Zane. It's not that bad. Back at my cousins' house, we've eaten worse. Whenever they decided to cook for everyone, every guest would just fake liking it, and then they would secretly order food."

[Zane raises an eyebrow, intrigued.]

Zane: "Really? They went to such lengths just to avoid hurting your cousins' feelings?"

[Kathy nods.]

Kathy: "Yeah, it's a family thing. We never want to upset each other, so we pretend everything is fine even when it's not."

[Zane smirks.]

Zane: "Well, I have to say, your family is really considerate, but maybe a little too nice. I mean, I'd have no problem being honest from the start, even if it hurts their feelings. It's better to know the truth than to pretend everything is okay when it's not."

[Kathy laughs, understanding where Zane is coming from.]

[As Zane and Kathy continue their conversation, Rodrick, who is sitting nearby, overhears their discussion.]

Rodrick: "Typical suburban people."

[Zane and Kathy both raise an eyebrow in disbelief at Rodrick's comment. Kathy is the first to respond, clearly not impressed.]

Kathy: "Excuse me? What's that supposed to mean?"

Rodrick: "You know, when I was in juvie..."

[Derek rolls his eyes, knowing exactly where this is going. He decides to tune out Rodrick's boastful story and focuses on his own breakfast, not interested in hearing it for the hundredth time.]

Derek: "Here we go again."

[Rodrick smirks, clearly enjoying the attention.]

Jackie: "So you were in juvie? Why doesn't that surprise me?"

[Rodrick shrugs defensively.]

Rodrick: "It's not like it was my choice to be there."

[Jackie smirks playfully, clearly enjoying teasing him.]

Jackie: "Yeah, yeah, that's what all the convicts say."

[Rodrick rolls his eyes but then continues his story, seemingly trying to impress Jackie.]

Rodrick: "Well, as I was saying, back in juvie, we didn't get much to eat. And when we did, it was like food that not even a dog would eat. Just some disgusting slop, worse than this one."

[Jackie ignores Rodrick's description of the food and decides to tease him further.]

Jackie: "Was that why you joined the competition late? You were still serving your sentence?"

[Rodrick stutters, not sure how to cover up the truth.]

Rodrick: "No! That's not true. I-I... I was just busy with... stuff."

[Clearly unsatisfied with his response, Jackie smirks knowingly, enjoying getting under his skin.]

Jackie: "Sure, Rodrick. Whatever you say."

[As Jackie continues to tease Rodrick, he starts to feel uncomfortable and embarrassed by the situation.]

Rodrick: "Ugh. I need some fresh air."

[Suddenly feeling overwhelmed, Rodrick quickly stands up and storms off from the main lodge, seeking some space to clear his head and escape the teasing.]

Kathy: "What came over him?"

Derek: "Well, um, I know what's going on, but Rodrick would prefer I didn't say anything."

[Kathy raises an eyebrow, curious about what Derek knows.]

Kathy: "What is it?"

CONFESSIONAL - DEREK

[In the confessional booth, Derek facepalms, frustrated, and admits his weakness.]

Derek: "I'm bad with secrets, okay?"

[Feeling a bit embarrassed by his lack of discretion, Derek hopes he hasn't made the situation worse.]

[Jackie tries to hide her concern but can't fully mask the worry in her expression as she watches Rodrick leave and Derek would just refuse to tell Kathy what's going on with Rodrick and would keep his mouth shut.]

[As the tension settles after Rodrick's exit, Chris walks into the main lodge, addressing the campers.]

Chris: "Alright, campers, finish up your meals! The next challenge is about to begin, and you'll need all the energy you can get."

[The competitors quickly finish their breakfast, eager to find out what the challenge entails. Chris continues, giving them further instructions.]

Chris: "Meet me at the beach in 10 minutes."

[At the beach, the campers are already assembled, and Chris stands with another familiar face – Cameron from Total Drama – by his side.]

Ramiro: "What's Cameron doing here?"

[Chris smirks, ready to explain.]

Chris: "Well, it seems the producers loved Cameron's work on the last episode, so they thought it would be a good idea to give him a more prominent role in this next challenge!"

[The campers nod, accepting the explanation, but Rodrick can't resist throwing in a sarcastic remark.]

Rodrick: "Is he going to try to kill us again?"

[Cameron, looking a bit embarrassed, waves his hands defensively.]

Cameron: "No, no, no! I'm here to help out with the challenge, not cause any harm. I promise!"

[Chris grins mischievously in response to Cameron's assurance.]

Chris: "Oh, don't worry, Cameron. You may not cause any harm, but I sure hope the contestants harm each other during the challenge. It's good for the ratings, you know."

[Cameron looks a bit uneasy at the thought, but Chris continues with the challenge details.]

Chris: "Alright, campers, listen up! Today's challenge will have two parts. In the first part, you'll have to build a jet ski boat from scratch. Your boats will be judged by Cameron, Chef, and myself. The team with the best-built boat will earn an advantage for the second part of the challenge."

[The campers exchange determined glances, ready to show off their skills in boat building.]

Chris: "Once your boats are complete, it's time for the second part of the challenge. You'll race in the water with your boats, collecting flags attached to signal buoys along the way. The more flags you collect, the better your chances of winning."

[Excitement fills the air as the campers imagine the race ahead.]

Chris: "The team that carries the most flags to the finish line will win invincibility, ensuring their safety from tonight's elimination. As for the losing team, one of you will be heading home tonight. So, give it your all, and let's see who comes out on top!"

[As Chris finishes explaining the challenge, Emilia raises her hand, looking both shocked and concerned.]

Emilia: "Wait, wait, wait, hold on there. You want us to build a boat from scratch? That's impossible! It might take months, even years!"

[The other campers start murmuring in agreement, unsure if they can handle such a daunting task.]

[Chris chuckles, enjoying their reactions.]

Chris: "Relax, Emilia, I'm not that cruel. You won't really build an entire boat from scratch. We've provided you with all the necessary materials, and Chef has already assembled the basic framework for each boat. All you have to do is customize it and make it race-ready."

[Chris continues to address the campers, and Cameron chimes in with a reassuring smile.]

Chris: "And don't worry, you won't be left entirely on your own. Cameron here will be around to lend some helpful tips and advice during the boat-building process."

[Cameron nods in agreement.]

Cameron: "That's right! I'll be happy to offer any assistance you might need, and I'll make sure everyone gets a fair chance."

[Emilia looks relieved, after their explanation.]

Emilia: "Well, that's a relief."

[Chris claps his hands together, signaling the start of the challenge.]

Chris: "Now, get ready, set, go! Start customizing your boats and make them as fast and stylish as possible. You only have a limited amount of time before we start the race!"

[The campers quickly gather the necessary materials and start customizing their boats, fueled by a newfound excitement for the challenge. Chef stands nearby, overseeing the process and offering a few words of encouragement.]

Chef: "Alright, listen up! The base and the engine are already done for each boat. Your job now is to add the boards for safety and comfort. Make sure everything is securely fastened, and don't forget to add your team's unique touch!"

[As Derek tries to break the awkward silence between them, he grabs a hammer for himself to begin customizing the boat. He turns to Rodrick, trying to offer some advice and show concern for his cousin's well-being.]

Derek: "Hey, Rodrick, are you feeling any better now? You know, try not to overthink things about your mom too much. It'll be alright."

[Rodrick, not wanting anyone to know his vulnerable side, shoves Derek aside and takes the hammer from him, claiming it as his own.]

Rodrick: "It's mine now."

[Derek is taken aback by Rodrick's aggression and confusion shows on his face.]

Derek: "What was that for? What are you doing?"

[Rodrick leans down and whispers to Derek, his tone threatening and intense.]

Rodrick: "Don't talk about that so loud."

[Derek brushes the sand off his clothes and nods, trying to diffuse the situation.]

Derek: "Alright, my bad."

[Rodrick then offers Derek a hand to help him up and reluctantly gives back the hammer.]

Rodrick: "Just remember, if I find out you've told anyone about my secret, you won't be able to say anything ever again. Got it?"

[Derek swallows nervously, getting the message loud and clear. The tension between the cousins remains as they continue to work on their boat, each deep in their own thoughts and emotions.]

CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK

[Rodrick takes a deep breath, trying to collect his thoughts as he speaks with a mix of vulnerability and menace.]

Rodrick: "Look, I gotta admit, that moment we had the other night was... kinda nice. But Derek knows too much, and he's got a big mouth. If he even thinks about sharing my secret with anyone, he better be ready to leave this island in a bodybag."

[He clenches his fists, his eyes narrowing with determination.]

CONFESSIONAL - DEREK

[He rubs his head, embarrassed.]

Derek: "I'm really bad with secrets."

[The confessional ends with Derek looking pensive and worried about the situation between him and Rodrick.]

[Kathy walks over to Zane, who is deep in thought, analyzing the engine.]

Kathy: "Hey, Zane, what are you doing? Shouldn't we start working on the boat together?"

Zane: [looking up with a smile] "I'm just trying to figure out the engine and how it works. I've got some ideas on how to optimize it for better speed and performance during the race."

Kathy: [intrigued] "Oh, that sounds interesting. Do you think it'll give us an advantage?"

Zane: "Definitely. The engine seems powerful enough, but with a few tweaks, we can make it even better. We just need to adjust the fuel-to-air ratio and make sure all the components are functioning optimally."

Kathy: [impressed] "Wow, I had no idea you knew so much about engines and mechanics. How did you learn all of this?"

Zane: [grinning] "Well, my dad is a mechanic, so he taught me a few things over the years. I've always been fascinated by how things work, and he was more than happy to pass on his knowledge. Plus, I've done some tinkering on my own with different machines and vehicles, so I've picked up a thing or two along the way."

[Kathy, still impressed by Zane's knowledge, offers her assistance.]

Kathy: "That's really cool. Is there any way I can help you with the engine?"

Zane: [smiling] "Thanks, Kathy, but I think I've got this covered. Why don't you go and help Emilia? She seems to be struggling a bit with the hammering."

Kathy: [hesitant] "Um, sure, I can do that."

[Kathy heads over to where Emilia is working on the boat. Emilia notices Kathy approaching and decides to try and be as nice as possible, despite her jealousy towards Kathy.]

Emilia: [forcing a smile] "Hey, Kathy. Do you need anything?"

Kathy: [also trying to be cordial] "Yeah, actually, I thought I could lend a hand with the hammering."

[As they work together, they make an effort to be polite and helpful towards each other, putting their past disagreements aside for the sake of the challenge.]

[As they continue to work on the boat, Emilia decides to address the elephant in the room.]

Emilia: "I saw you talking with Zane earlier. He's working around the engine, you know what he's doing?"

[Kathy glances at Emilia, trying to gauge her intentions before answering.]

Kathy: "Oh, yeah. Zane is really knowledgeable when it comes to engines and mechanics. He's optimizing it for better speed and performance during the race."

[Emilia's expression doesn't give much away, but she maintains the facade of being friendly.]

Emilia: "That's impressive. He seems to know a lot about everything."

Kathy: [nodding] "Yeah, he's got a lot of skills. But hey, you're doing great with the hammering. We're making good progress on the boat."

Emilia: [forcing a smile] "Thanks, Kathy. I appreciate the help."

[Despite their past tension, they continue working together, each trying to keep the conversation light and friendly while still being cautious of the other's true feelings.]

[The Hazardous Bears, consisting of Danielle, Bri, Iris, Ramiro, and Blaise, are hard at work customizing their boat. As the others focus on hammering and putting more boards, Blaise heads over to a pile of materials and picks up a gun-like object, looking intrigued.]

Blaise: [murmuring to himself] "Interesting..."

[Blaise brings the gun-like object over to the rest of his team and drops it on the floor. Iris looks at it with curiosity and questions him.]

Iris: "What's that?"

Blaise: [smirking] "I found this bad boy hiding in the pile. Looks like a launcher of some sort."

Bri: [concerned] "Wait, Blaise, that could be against the rules!"

Blaise: [confidently] "Nah, if it was against the rules, Chris wouldn't have planted it in there. It's fair game."

Iris: [thoughtful] "Well, he does have a point."

Blaise: [egotistical] "Of course, I do. And I'll use this to fire at the Swift Deers. It'll give us a huge advantage!"

[Bri and Iris exchange concerned glances, unsure about Blaise's intentions with the weapon.]

[As the others continue working on the boat, Blaise decides to inquire about their progress.]

Blaise: "So, how's the team doing so far, anyway?"

Danielle: [with a self-centered attitude] "I'm doing great, but I can't say the same for the others. I'm not sure they're up to the task."

[Bri interjects, trying to maintain a positive atmosphere.]

Bri: "We're doing just fine, Blaise. Hey, could you give us a hand with this part?"

[Blaise responds with a hint of superiority and arrogance.]

Blaise: "Can't do, doll face. I've got to work on attaching this beauty to the boat."

[Bri starts to look slightly annoyed at Blaise's egotistical behavior, but she decides not to say anything and keeps working on the boat.]

[Danielle, on the other hand, can't resist complaining about her teammates.]

Danielle: [frustrated] "Ugh, I swear I'm the only one working hard here. You all better step up your game!"

[Bri finally reaches her limit with Danielle's antics and speaks up, surprising everyone with her assertiveness.]

Bri: [firmly] "Danielle, do us all a favor and shut up. We're all working here, and we don't need your constant complaining."

[Danielle is taken aback by Bri's uncharacteristically stern tone, as Bri is usually timid and polite.]

CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE

[Danielle rolls her eyes and smirks.]

Danielle: "Ugh, so the nerd is coming out of her shell now? Not good."

[She seems bothered by Bri's assertiveness, feeling threatened by the change in her teammate's behavior.]

CONFESSIONAL - BRI

[Bri looks surprised at her own assertiveness, but a hint of satisfaction also appears on her face.]

Bri: "I don't know what came over me, but whenever Danielle talks, she always says something that infuriates me. So that felt really good."

[She shrugs, seeming a bit conflicted about her own feelings, and the confessional ends.]

[Blaise is attaching the weapon to the boat, and Ramiro comes over, intrigued.]

Ramiro: "So, what are you gonna fire with that thing?"

Blaise: [grinning] "Honestly, I haven't really thought about it yet."

[Ramiro mischievously reaches into his pocket and pulls out his dirty boxers that he's using as a makeshift cloth.]

Ramiro: "What about this?"

[Blaise looks at the dirty boxers with a mix of amusement and disgust.]

CONFESSIONAL - BLAISE

[Blaise looks directly at the camera, a mix of disgust and confusion on his face.]

Blaise: "What?! Seriously?"

[Back to the boat, Blaise recovers from his initial reaction.]

Blaise: "No, no, that won't be necessary."

[Ramiro, still teasing, asks with a smirk,]

Ramiro: "Are you sure? I've got some cleaned pairs if you want."

[Blaise's expression shifts from disgust to a more neutral face.]

Blaise: "Yeah, that... that would be slightly better."

[As Blaise continues working on the boat, Ramiro says he'll be right back.]

Ramiro: "Be right back."

[He rushes off towards the cabins to get some cleaned pairs of boxers, leaving Blaise to focus on his task.]

[In the Swift Deers' area, Derek and Rodrick are both focused on hammering some boards for their team's boat. Jackie approaches Derek and asks him to talk in private. Rodrick glances at them suspiciously but decides to focus on his task.]

Jackie: [softly] "Derek, can we talk for a moment?"

[Derek looks a bit hesitant, but he nods and follows Jackie to a quieter spot on the beach. Once they are away from the others, Jackie looks at Derek with concern in her eyes.]

Jackie: "I want to know the real reason why Rodrick joined the competition late. There's something more going on, and I can see it. Please, Derek, I won't tell anyone. I care about him, even if he acts like a jerk."

[Derek looks torn, knowing that Rodrick wouldn't want anyone to know the truth. He turns away, ready to walk away from the conversation.]

Derek: "I can't tell you that, Jackie. It's not my secret to share."

[As Derek starts to walk away, Jackie grabs him by the arm, her expression earnest.]

Jackie: "Please, Derek, I don't know why, but I really care about him. I want to understand him better. Whatever is going on with him, he doesn't have to face it alone. Just tell me, and I promise I won't say a word to anyone."

[Derek hesitates, looking into Jackie's eyes and sensing her genuine concern. After a moment, he lets out a sigh.]

Derek: "Okay, but you have to promise not to tell anyone, especially Rodrick."

[Jackie nods, giving Derek her word.]

Jackie: "I promise, Derek. I won't say a word."

[Derek takes a deep breath, deciding to confide in Jackie about Rodrick's struggles and the reason for his late entry into the competition. He trusts her enough to share the sensitive information and hopes that it will help her understand Rodrick better.]

[Derek takes a deep breath and continues.]

Derek: "Rodrick's mom is really sick. She's basically bedridden, and Rodrick has been taking care of her, doing everything he can to help since she can't get out of bed much. His parents are separated, so most of the responsibility falls on him. He's always been the one taking care of her, being the perfect son."

[He pauses for a moment, reflecting on Rodrick's situation.]

Derek: "When he found out Total Drama was coming back, he decided to audition. He wanted the prize money to pay for a surgery that could potentially get his mom back on her feet. The surgery is really expensive, and he was willing to do anything for her."

[Derek's voice softens with empathy.]

Derek: "But then, just before he was supposed to audition, his mom had a stroke and almost died. He was devastated and didn't want to come to the competition anymore. He wanted to stay by her side. It took a lot of convincing from his mom to get him to audition, hoping that the competition could be a good distraction for him."

[As Derek finishes sharing the heartfelt story of Rodrick's struggles, Jackie listens attentively, taking in every detail. Her caring nature shines through as she processes the information, understanding the weight of Rodrick's situation.]

[Jackie listens attentively, her heart heavy with the weight of the information Derek shared about Rodrick's struggles. She can't help but empathize with the difficult situation he's facing back home.]

Jackie: "Wow, that's a lot for him to handle. I can't imagine what he's going through."

[Derek nods, appreciating Jackie's understanding and compassion.]

Derek: "Yeah, it's been really tough on him. I only found out about all of this a couple of nights ago myself. Our families aren't even that close, so I wasn't aware of the full extent of what he was dealing with."

[Derek takes a moment to reflect on his feelings about Rodrick.]

Derek: "Look, I still can't say I like the guy, but I do understand why he acts the way he does now. It's like he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, and this competition was probably his only chance to help his mom."

[Jackie reaches out, placing a comforting hand on Derek's shoulder.]

Jackie: "Thank you for sharing this with me, Derek. I won't tell anyone. But you should know that you've helped me see him in a different light. Maybe there's more to him than the tough exterior he shows."

[Derek looks at Jackie with a hint of uncertainty, wanting to be absolutely sure she won't share what he just told her.]

Derek: "You won't tell this to anyone, right? I mean, especially Rodrick?"

Jackie: "Why would I? Don't worry, Derek. Your secret is safe with me. Thank you once more for sharing this with me."

[Jackie offers a reassuring smile, and Derek nods gratefully.]

Derek: "Thanks, Jackie. I really appreciate it."

[As Jackie walks away, Derek lets out a sigh of relief.]

Derek: "Phew, that was close."

[Unbeknownst to Derek, Rodrick had been hiding behind some rocks nearby and had overheard the entire conversation.]

Rodrick: "Too close."

CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK

[Cut to a confessional with Rodrick, his expression dark and determined.]

Rodrick: "I can't believe that little twink just spilled my secret. He's going down."

[Rodrick smirks, plotting his next move as he gears up to face the consequences of Derek's revelation.]

[After Ramiro returns with his cleaned underwear in a bag, he hands it over to Blaise. Blaise takes the bag, but with a disgusted tone and expression, he handles it carefully.]

Ramiro: "Here you go, man. Cleaned and ready to use."

Blaise: [with a hint of disgust] "Thanks..."

[Blaise tries to hide his revulsion as he takes the bag, but it's clear he's not thrilled about the whole situation.]

[As the Swift Deers continue their playful antics, Cameron passes by and notices the gun-like object that Blaise had found earlier.]

Cameron: "Hey, are you guys using that...uh, weapon?"

[Blaise looks at the gun in his hands and then back at Cameron, unsure of how to respond.]

Ramiro: "Heck yeah, we are. And my underwear is the fire."

[Cameron looks slightly disgusted but tries to shrug it off with a smile.]

Cameron: "Well, if you guys are serious about using it, maybe I can help you upgrade it. It does look a bit...busted."

[Blaise, still slightly disgusted, considers Cameron's offer.]

Blaise: "Fine. But make it quick."

[Zane is still deeply focused on the engine, but he starts to doubt himself, realizing he needs help to test his adjustments. He calls out to Dirk and Leon, who are currently taking a break from their antics and not doing anything at the moment.]

Zane: "Hey, Dirk, Leon, I could use your help over here!"

[Dirk and Leon exchange glances and then approach Zane.]

Dirk: "Sure thing, what do you need?"

Zane: "I need one of you to get on the wheel and start the engine. I want to test some adjustments I made, and I need to see how it performs."

Leon: [raising his hand] "I'll do it!"

[Zane nods and explains the specifics to Leon, who takes his position at the wheel.]

Zane: "Okay, Leon, go ahead and start the engine. Let's see how it goes."

[Leon grins and eagerly starts the engine as Zane closely observes its performance, hoping his adjustments will make a difference.]

[Leon starts the engine, and to Zane's relief, it appears to be running smoothly with the adjustments he made. Zane gives him two thumbs up as he observes the engine's performance.]

Zane: "Great job, Leon! You can stop now. It looks good."

[Leon grins, feeling proud of himself for assisting Zane with the successful engine test.]

Leon: "Thanks, Zane! Glad I could help."

[Zane goes back to fine-tuning a few more settings, feeling more confident now that his adjustments have yielded positive results.]

[As Zane continues to fine-tune the engine, Cameron passes by and notices Zane's focused demeanor and expertise in mechanics.]

Cameron: "Hey, Zane, I couldn't help but notice how skilled you are with the engine. Impressive stuff."

[Zane looks up and smiles, appreciating the compliment.]

Zane: "Thanks, Cameron. Yeah, I've always been interested in machines and how things work. My dad's a mechanic, so I guess it runs in the family."

Cameron: "That's awesome. You really seem to know what you're doing. If you ever need an extra hand, just let me know."

Zane: "I'll keep that in mind. Thanks."

[Cameron nods and gives Zane a friendly pat on the back before continuing on his way.]

CONFESSIONAL - ZANE

[In the confessional booth, Zane looks into the camera, feeling the need to clarify the truth about his mechanical skills.]

Zane: "You know, everyone here thinks I learned all this stuff from my dad, that he's a mechanic and all. But that's not true. The truth is, I never knew my dad. He walked out on my mom and me when I was just a kid. I... I actually learned all this on the streets, from some friends. Friends who weren't exactly on the right side of the law."

[Zane leans closer to the camera, whispering with a hint of guilt in his voice.]

Zane: "Those friends were involved in some shady stuff, and I got dragged into it too. But I always had this fascination with machines, and they taught me a lot. It's how I survived out there."

[He straightens up, a mix of emotions on his face.]

Zane: "I don't like lying about my past, but I also don't want people to see me differently. I'm trying to change, be a better person. Being here... it's a chance for me to start over. I just hope they never find out the truth."

[As Zane continues fine-tuning the engine, the scene transitions to Jackie, who is hard at work customizing the seats for their boat. She is focused and determined to do a great job. Just then, Rodrick approaches her, seemingly willing to lend a hand.]

Rodrick: "Hey, Jackie, need any help with those seats?"

[Jackie glances up from her work, and to her surprise, she finds Rodrick offering to help. Remembering the conversation she had with Derek earlier, she decides to give Rodrick a chance and accepts his offer with a warm smile.]

Jackie: "Sure, Rodrick, that'd be great. Thanks."

[Rodrick takes this opportunity to flirt with Jackie, leaning in slightly with a mischievous grin.]

Rodrick: "You know, I'm not just good with boats. I've got some other skills too. Maybe I could impress you sometime."

[Jackie raises an eyebrow playfully, not backing down from his flirtatious banter.]

Jackie: "Oh, really? I'll believe it when I see it."

[Rodrick chuckles, enjoying their playful exchange.]

Rodrick: "Challenge accepted. You won't be disappointed."

[Derek, who is also a member of the Hazardous Bears but currently standing near the Swift Deers, hears Bri's question about Jackie and Rodrick.]

Bri: "Hey, Derek, what's up with your cousin and Jackie? I thought Jackie couldn't stand him. What are they doing working so close?"

Derek: "Well, it's a bit complicated. I had a talk with Jackie earlier, and I suppose she's trying to understand him better and giving him a second chance. I guess she sees something in him that she wants to explore now."

[Bri raises an eyebrow, puzzled by Jackie's sudden change of heart towards Rodrick.]

Bri: "Trying to understand him better? What's there to understand? He's always been a pain in the neck."

[Derek shrugs, not revealing the details of his conversation with Jackie.]

Derek: "I don't know, Bri. Maybe she's seeing a different side of him now. People can surprise you sometimes."

[Bri seems skeptical, still finding it hard to believe that Jackie would give Rodrick a chance.]

Bri: "Well, if she wants to waste her time with him, that's her business, I guess."

[Derek nods, understanding Bri's perspective.]

Derek: "Yeah, exactly. We all have our reasons for doing things. Who knows, maybe Rodrick's not as bad as he seems."

[Bri shrugs and goes back to focusing on the boat, still a bit puzzled by the situation but deciding not to dwell on it. Derek, on the other hand, can't help but feel a mix of curiosity and concern about the unfolding dynamics between Jackie and Rodrick. Then, Dirk approaches them both and Derek understands that Dirk wants a moment alone with Bri so he leaves.]

Dirk: "Hey, Bri! Need a break from all this chaos?"

[Bri turns around, slightly surprised to see Dirk, but a small smile forms on her face.]

Bri: "Yeah, a little break would be nice."

[Dirk offers his hand, and Bri takes it, and they walk away from the busy scene together, finding a quieter spot on the beach.]

[They find a cozy spot on the sand, sitting close to each other, and start chatting. Dirk leans in, genuinely curious about how Bri is adjusting to her new team.]

Dirk: "So, how are you doing on your new team? Getting along with everyone?"

[Bri nods, a small smile on her face.]

Bri: "Yeah, I've been getting along well with Iris and Carlos. They're really nice, genuine people. It's nice to have some friendly faces on the team."

Dirk: "That's great to hear. Having good teammates can make a big difference. But what about Ramiro, Blaise, and Danielle? How are they treating you?"

Bri: [sighing] "Honestly, they can be pretty exhausting to deal with. Ramiro is always trying to be the center of attention with his unfunny jokes, Blaise can be arrogant and difficult to work with, and Danielle... she's just constantly complaining and making everything tense."

Dirk: "I can imagine. I didn't get to know them that well yet, but they do seem pretty intense."

Bri: [nodding] "They really are. And honestly, they can be more than just intense. It's like they're genuinely evil sometimes. They take this competition way too seriously and are always coming up with schemes to get ahead. So, you should be glad you're not on a team with them."

Dirk: [playfully] "Oh, trust me, I'm really glad I'm not on their team."

[Bri smiles, but then her expression turns slightly wistful.]

Bri: "Yeah, I miss being on the same team with you. I miss having you around."

CONFESSIONAL - DIRK

[In a brief confessional, Dirk appears confident and determined.]

Dirk: "I am going for it!"

[Before they can continue their conversation, Dirk places his hand on top of Bri's, in a romantic gesture, but just as the moment starts to feel special, Danielle's voice interrupts them from a distance.]

Danielle: [shouting] "Bri! Get back here, I need you to check something!"

CONFESSIONAL - DIRK

[In another brief confessional, Dirk expresses his disappointment and frustration.]

Dirk: "And the moment got ruined."

[Bri looks a bit flustered as she quickly pulls her hand away, realizing they were being watched. Dirk laughs it off and stands up.]

Dirk: "Well, duty calls, right? I'll see you in the water then."

Bri: [playfully] "Yeah, I'll see you in the water alright, but you better be ready to eat our wake, 'cause my team is going to win!"

[Dirk chuckles, enjoying the friendly competition between their teams.]

Dirk: "We'll see about that! May the best team win!"

[Bri and Dirk share a smile before parting ways. Bri heads back to her team, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead with renewed determination.]

Bri: [approaching Danielle] "Hey, Danielle, what do you need?"

Danielle: [sarcastically] "Oh, it's not about what I need. It's about what you need. You need to get better hammering skills. Look at these boards. You think this was a job well done?"

[Danielle points at the boards, criticizing Bri's work.]

Ramiro: [overhearing the conversation] "Not trying to defend the nerd, but those boards look fine to me."

Danielle: [shouting back at Ramiro] "No one asked you, diaper mouth!"

[Bri feels a bit embarrassed by Danielle's comment, but she takes a deep breath and tries to remain composed.]

Bri: "I'm sorry if they're not up to your standards, Danielle. I'll do my best to improve."

Danielle: [pausing for a moment, then smirking] "Well, I guess that's an improvement from your last answer to my authority."

[She slyly glances at Bri, referring to the earlier incident when Bri told Danielle to shut up.]

CONFESSIONAL - BRI

Bri: "As much as I wanted to fire back at Danielle again, I knew I had to bite my tongue. Being overly rude won't get me anywhere, and it'll only put a target on my back. I'll prove myself through my actions, not through arguments."

[Blaise finishes attaching the launcher to the boat and steps back to get a closer look. He examines it carefully and then nods in satisfaction.]

Blaise: "It looks perfect."

[Chris, with his ever-present loudspeaker, addresses all the campers on the beach.]

Chris: "Alright, campers! You've got just five minutes left until the judges come to inspect your boats and decide who gets a handy reward in the next part of the challenge."

[As Chris announces the time remaining, the campers rush to put on the finishing touches and make sure their boats are in top-notch condition for the judges' inspection.]

[As the campers are scrambling to put the finishing touches on their boats, Carlos makes a grand entrance back to the beach. The campers notice him and stop to look.]

Chris: [through the loudspeaker] "Carlos is back!"

[The camera transitions to Iris' face, which lights up with joy at the news of Carlos' return. She can't help but smile brightly as she sees him back with the team.]

[Carlos walks over to Iris, who is beaming with happiness at his return.]

Iris: "Carlos! You're back! How did you manage to get clearance to participate in the challenge?"

Carlos: [smiling] "Yeah, the interns at the infirmary said I was fit enough for the challenge. They gave me some painkillers to help with the lingering pain from the bites, so I should be good to go."

[Bri approaches Carlos and Iris from behind, playfully wrapping her arms around both of them.]

Bri: "Ah, look at that, the power couple is finally reunited! It's nice to have you back, Carlos."

[Carlos chuckles at Bri's teasing, while Iris blushes, feeling a bit embarrassed.]

Carlos: "Thanks, Bri. It's good to be back."

Iris: [giggling] "Stop it, Bri!"

[Bri laughs and playfully releases them, knowing that she had a knack for teasing her friends. Carlos and Iris share a knowing look, appreciating the light-hearted moment.]

Chris: [through the loudspeaker] "One minute left, campers! Better wrap it up if you want a shot at that reward!"

[The campers pick up the pace, making the final adjustments to their boats, eager to impress the judges and earn the reward for their team.]

[Zane pulls Kathy aside and gestures towards their boat, looking a bit anxious.]

Zane: "Hey, Kathy, do you think the boat looks good? Are we ready for the judges?"

Kathy: [confidently] "Zane, relax! We did a pretty good job with this boat. Our team worked hard on it, and it looks great. We're definitely going to win that reward!"

[Zane feels relieved by Kathy's assurance and gives her a grateful smile.]

[With the final moments ticking away, Chris uses the loudspeaker once again to announce the next step in the challenge.]

Chris: "Alright, campers! Time's up! Get in your positions because the judges will now rate the boats!"

[The campers quickly gather around their boats, eager to see how their hard work will be judged. The atmosphere is tense with anticipation as the judges begin their inspection.]

Chris: [smirking] "Let's see which team has what it takes to win that handy reward!"

[The judges carefully examine each boat, taking note of the craftsmanship, creativity, and functionality. As they move from one boat to another, the campers anxiously watch their reactions, hoping their efforts will be rewarded.]

[Among them, the Swift Deers look on with confidence, believing in their boat's design and the hard work they put into it. The Hazardous Bears also hold their breath, eager to see if their unconventional approach will pay off.]

[As the judges finish inspecting the last boat, they huddle together to deliberate their decision, leaving the campers on edge with anticipation.]

[The judges break their huddle, and Chris steps forward, a mischievous smile on his face.]

Chris: "And the team winning the reward is... the Swift Deers!"

[Cheers and excitement erupt from the Swift Deers as they celebrate their victory. Leon turns to Dirk with a big grin.]

Leon: "We did it, bro!"

[They high five in triumph, proud of their team's efforts. Kathy joins in, giving Zane a high-five.]

Kathy: "Great job, Zane! Your adjustments really paid off!"

[Chris then takes a moment to explain the reasons behind the decision.]

Chris: "The Swift Deers' boat displayed a perfect balance of craftsmanship and creativity. It was both functional and visually appealing. Well done, Swift Deers!"

[Chef, who voted for the Hazardous Bears' boat, adds his thoughts with a sly grin.]

Chef: "Gotta say, that weapon on the Hazardous Bears' boat was really vicious. I liked it."

[Noticing the bemused expressions on Chris' and Cameron's faces, Chef chuckles weakly, acknowledging their reaction to his appreciation for the weapon.]

Chris: [sarcastically] "Yeah, because what every boat needs is a dangerous weapon on board. Classic Chef!"

[Cameron laughs, shaking his head, knowing that Chef's vote might not always align with the safest options.]

Cameron: "Congrats again to the Swift Deers! Enjoy your well-deserved reward!"

Blaise: "So, what's that 'well-deserved reward' anyway?"

Cameron: [grinning] "Ah, I'm glad you asked! It's an invention I created called the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher.' It's a device that will make retrieving flags during the next part of the challenge a whole lot easier and more efficient."

[As Cameron explains the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher,' Ramiro mutters to himself in a low voice.]

Ramiro: "Okay, what's up with all these self-titled inventions?"

[Unaware of Ramiro's comment, Cameron continues explaining the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher' with enthusiasm.]

Cameron: "You see, the Cam-Flag Fetcher is equipped with a powerful magnetic mechanism. When you're near a flag, activate the device, and it will attract the metal components of the flagpole, pulling it right into your boat! It's super efficient and saves you precious time during the challenge. Trust me, it's a game-changer!"

[Chris takes over, making the next announcement.]

Chris: "Alright, campers! You can now head to your boats and wait for my signal to start the race!"

[As Cameron finishes explaining the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher,' he realizes he forgot something.]

Cameron: "Wait! I still have to give the Cam-Flag Fetcher to the winning team."

[Chris chuckles and nods, letting Cameron take care of it. Zane steps forward, and Cameron hands the invention to him with a mischievous smile.]

Chris: "Alright, now you can head to your boats and wait for my signal to start the race!"

[Zane appreciates the advantage the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher' will give his team and heads back to his boat with a confident expression. He hands the gadget to Derek, intending for him to use it while Zane takes the wheel.]

Zane: "Derek, you take care of this. I'll get behind the wheel. Any objections?"

[Rodrick raises his hand with a smirk, ready to challenge his cousin.]

[As Zane hands the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher' to Derek and suggests he takes care of it while Zane takes the wheel, Rodrick raises his hand with a smirk, ready to challenge his cousin.]

Rodrick: "I object. Why should Derek get to use it? I think I should be the one to handle the gadget."

[Derek looks at Rodrick, his expression puzzled by his sudden change in behavior.]

Derek: "Rodrick, what's your deal? Why are you back to being such an asshole?"

[Rodrick's smirk grows wider, and he takes a jab at Derek.]

Rodrick: "Oh, come on, cuz! I just think I'd do a better job using that thing. Got to wonder if you even have the brain for it."

[Rodrick's comment strikes a nerve with Derek.]

Derek: "Fine. You can have it."

[Derek hands over the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher' to Rodrick, not wanting to make the situation worse. Rodrick continues to taunt Derek, hinting that he knows the truth.]

Rodrick: "Thanks, Derek. Maybe you should use that brain of yours more and your mouth less. Might save you from trouble."

[Derek's facial expression changes drastically as the realization hits him like a ton of bricks. He's taken aback by the fact that Rodrick knows he spilled his secret to Jackie.]

Derek: [muttering to himself] "How does he know? How did he find out?"

CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK

[The camera cuts to a confessional with Rodrick, his expression dark and determined.]

Rodrick: "Jokes on Derek. While Jackie may see me differently now, I won't let him off the hook for divulging my secret."

[Rodrick's voice carries a mix of resentment and calculated planning, making it clear that he's not one to forgive easily.]

[The camera then transitions to the Hazardous Bears' boat, where the team is getting ready for the race.]

Blaise: "I'll be working the gun, guys."

Danielle: [sarcastically] "Alright, Blaise, you'll be behind the 'Diaper Launcher.' But who's going behind the wheel?"

Ramiro: [confidently] "I got it!"

Iris: [concerned] "Are you sure?"

Ramiro: "Of course I am sure! I used to steal my dad's car all the time. I'm the most qualified person to drive this thing here."

Bri: "I'm not sure a boat works the same as a car, but okay! You can do this!"

[As Ramiro takes his position behind the wheel, the tension rises again. The other teams are also getting ready for the race, and Chris prepares to give the signal.]

Chris: [through the loudspeaker] "Campers, get ready! On your marks..."

[The excitement builds as all the campers prepare for the race.]

Chris: "Go!"

[With the signal given, both Ramiro and Zane start their team's speed boats simultaneously. The engines roar to life, and the boats speed off, creating a splash of excitement as they race across the water.]

[As the race kicks off, Zane's boat takes a slight lead, and Danielle, feeling frustrated by being behind, starts taunting Ramiro, her teammate.]

Danielle: "Come on, diaper mouth! Drive faster!"

[Ramiro tries to ignore her teasing, focusing on the race ahead. Meanwhile, Blaise hatches a mischievous plan.]

Blaise: "I've got an idea."

[He skillfully operates the 'Diaper Launcher' and aims it at the Swift Deers' boat. With a playful smirk, he fires a diaper in their direction, causing a splash of water near their boat, momentarily distracting them.]

Zane: "What was that for?"

Derek: "Looks like Blaise is playing dirty!"

Rodrick: "Yeah, we should've gotten a weapon too! That would've shown them!"

[As the Swift Deers continue the race, they discuss how to deal with the Hazardous Bears' weapon.]

Zane: "We need a plan to counter Blaise's weapon."

Leon: "Agreed. It's going to be tough to win if they keep using it against us."

Emilia: [thinking] "I have an idea. We can create a diversion. When Blaise tries to shoot us again, we'll make him waste his ammunition while we take a different route. If he doesn't have any diapers left, their weapon becomes useless."

[As the Swift Deers discuss Emilia's plan to counter the Hazardous Bears' weapon, Rodrick interjects with sarcasm.]

Rodrick: "Oh, that's a great plan, Emilia. Too bad we have this specific route we need to follow to get the flags and win the challenge."

[Emilia pauses, considering Rodrick's point, but then she smiles mischievously.]

Emilia: "You're right, but that doesn't mean we can't be a little unpredictable. We'll still follow the main route, but we can take some alternative paths at key moments to throw them off. Blaise won't know where to aim if we're not where he expects us to be."

[As the Swift Deers put Emilia's plan into action, they start maneuvering in zigzags, making it difficult for Blaise to target them with the 'Diaper Launcher'. Blaise becomes increasingly frustrated as he tries to aim, but the constantly changing direction of the Swift Deers makes it impossible for him to hit them.]

Blaise: [shouting at Ramiro] "Drive faster! I can't reach them!"

[Ramiro, determined to stay ahead, pushes the speed boat to its limits, trying to maintain the advantage for his team.]

[As they approach the first buoy with the flag, Rodricktakes the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher' and activates it with a sense of satisfaction. With the magnetic mechanism working smoothly, he effortlessly retrieves the flag.]

Rodrick: [smirking] "So, that's how it works!"

[The Swift Deers cheer, knowing that the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher' gives them a significant advantage in retrieving the flags. With their strategic maneuvers and the efficient flag retrieval, they are off to a strong start in the challenge.]

[As Blaise continues to struggle with the 'Diaper Launcher', Danielle, feeling frustrated with its performance, decides to improvise.]

Danielle: "Forget Ramiro's underwear. Use these."

[She reaches into her pockets and pulls out a handful of tennis balls, then hands them to Blaise.]

Blaise: [smirking mischievously] "Oh, this should be fun!"

[Bri, looking both impressed and amused, raises an eyebrow.]

Bri: "Where did you even get those?"

Danielle: "They were among the materials we could use for the challenge. I thought they might come in handy."

[With a playful wink, Danielle suggests the alternative ammunition, and Blaise eagerly loads the tennis balls into the 'Diaper Launcher'.]

Blaise: "Let's see how they like this!"

[Blaise takes aim with the modified weapon, and as the Swift Deers continue to zigzag, he fires the tennis balls in their direction. The Swift Deers are taken by surprise, and while they manage to avoid being hit, the tactic succeeds in further distracting them.]

Zane: "Watch out for the tennis balls!"

[As Blaise fires the tennis balls towards the Swift Deers' boat, the team reacts quickly to avoid getting hit. Amidst the chaos, Rodrick takes action to protect Jackie, even though she's not exactly thrilled about it.]

Jackie: "What are you doing, Rodrick?"

Rodrick: "What do you think I'm doing? I'm protecting you!"

[Jackie lets out a loud sigh, slightly annoyed by Rodrick's antics, but she can't help but smile at his protective gesture. Reluctantly, she allows him to cover her, appreciating the effort despite their usual bickering.]

Jackie: "You don't have to do this, you know..."

Rodrick: "Yeah, well, I am doing it anyway."

[While Rodrick tries to shield Jackie from the incoming tennis balls, Blaise continues to fire at the Swift Deers' boat, using the 'Diaper Launcher' with newfound enthusiasm. The race becomes even more intense as both teams maneuver and strategize to gain the upper hand and reach the next buoys.]

[With the race intensifying, the Hazardous Bears reach the first buoy, and Ramiro skillfully brings the boat to a stop. However, Carlos, who was initially set to retrieve the flag, is injured.]

Carlos: "I got itβ€”"

Iris: [concerned] "No, you're injured. I'll do it."

[Without hesitation, Iris steps up, taking over the task of grabbing the flag. Bri and the rest of the team look on with concern as Iris stretches her arm to reach out for the buoy and successfully snatches the flag.]

Bri: "Be careful, Iris."

[Iris nods, her determination shining through as she makes sure to secure the first flag for their team.]

[As the race continues, the Hazardous Bears' boat speeds forward after Iris successfully retrieves the first flag. Ramiro, eager to gain more ground, steps on the accelerator with force, causing the boat to surge forward abruptly.]

Iris: [holding on tightly] "Ramiro, chill out! We almost fell off the boat!"

Bri: [holding on as well] "Yeah, ease up on the gas, we can't hold on like this!"

[Ramiro's teammates call him out for his aggressive driving, expressing their concern as they hang on tightly to stay onboard. Blaise, however, seems to be rather amused by the situation, sporting a mischievous smirk.]

Ramiro: [teasingly] "Sorry, sweethearts. If you wanted a smoother ride, you should've taken the bus!"

[Iris and Bri exchange glances, a mix of annoyance and amusement on their faces as they hold on tightly to the speeding boat.]

[As the race continues, the Swift Deers notice that the Hazardous Bears' boat is gaining up on them.]

Kathy: "Guys, they're catching up!"

[In the midst of the intense competition, Dirk and Leon both spot the next buoy with the second flag at the same time. Without saying a word, they look at each other and simultaneously point in the direction of the buoy, signaling their team.]

Dirk and Leon: [together] "There's the second flag!"

Zane: [grinning] "Alright, let's pick up the pace and secure that flag before the Hazardous Bears catch up!"

[At the second buoy, the Swift Deers swiftly approach, and Rodrick takes charge with the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher'. With precision and confidence, he activates the device and effortlessly snags the second flag.]

[Cheers erupt from the Swift Deers as they successfully secure their second flag, one step closer to victory. However, they can't afford to relax just yet, as the Hazardous Bears are still hot on their tail.]

[As the race intensifies, Chris, who has been observing the challenge from afar, grows bored with the standard boat race.]

Chris: "This is too boring. Time to spice things up!"

[He reaches for a remote control and presses a button. Suddenly, robotic sharks, created by Cameron, emerge from the water, adding an unexpected and thrilling twist to the competition. Chef Hatchet grins mischievously, though he also realizes the potential danger involved. Meanwhile, Cameron looks concerned for the safety of the campers.]

Cameron: "Uh, Chris, are you sure about this? The sharks are just supposed to be prototypes!"

Chris: [grinning] "Relax, Cameron! What matters is that the viewers will love it!"

[Back on the water, chaos ensues as the robotic sharks start circling the boats, creating waves and splashes as they go. The campers now not only have to worry about winning the challenge but also avoiding the menacing robotic sharks that have entered the race.]

Zane: [shouting] "Watch out for the sharks! Stay on course!"

[The campers must navigate the hazardous waters, making quick decisions to avoid the robotic sharks and keep their boats on track. The challenge has just become even more perilous and exciting, and the teams must work together to outmaneuver the unexpected adversaries in their pursuit of victory.]

[As the robotic sharks circle the boats, chaos reigns on the water. The campers try their best to avoid the menacing mechanical predators, but one of the sharks suddenly leaps towards the Hazardous Bears' boat, targeting Iris and Carlos. Panic ensues as the campers scramble to protect themselves.]

Iris: [frantically] "Blaise, shoot at the sharks! It's our only chance!"

Blaise: [hesitating] "I can't, Iris! This ammunition is meant for the Swift Deers!"

[As the situation becomes dire, Carlos, despite being injured from the snake bites in the previous episode, quickly reacts to protect Iris. He spots a broken board on the boat and wastes no time, breaking it further to fashion an improvised weapon.]

[Using the makeshift weapon, Carlos strikes the shark's head with all his strength, managing to fend off the robotic predator just in time. The shark retreats back into the water, leaving the campers gasping for breath.]

Iris: [concerned] "Carlos, are you okay? You should rest."

Carlos: [gritting his teeth] "I'll be fine, just a little sore."

[Iris looks worried, but she also sees the bravery and determination in Carlos' eyes. She appreciates his protectiveness and cares deeply for him.]

CONFESSIONAL - CARLOS

[In a confessional, Carlos looks slightly flustered as he speaks.]

Carlos: "I have no idea on what just happened. Whenever Iris is around, I just... I can't help but act impulsively. I feel this urge to protect her from everything and everyone."

[He chuckles nervously, realizing his feelings for Iris are causing him to act differently than usual.]

[Despite the dangerous distraction with the robotic sharks, the Hazardous Bears manage to reach the second buoy, and Bri calls out to Ramiro to slow down the boat.]

Bri: "Ramiro, slow down! We're at the second buoy!"

[Ramiro eases up on the accelerator, allowing the boat to come to a more controlled stop near the buoy. Iris, showing her determination once again, stretches her arm out to reach the flag, successfully grabbing it.]

Iris: [grinning] "Got it!"

[Cheers erupt from the Hazardous Bears as they secure their second flag, keeping them in the competition for the grand prize. The robotic sharks still lurk in the water, creating a tense atmosphere, but the campers remain focused on the challenge.]

[As the Hazardous Bears celebrate securing their second flag, Blaise continues to operate the launcher with the tennis balls as new ammunition, firing them at the Swift Deers.]

Blaise: "You know, Danielle, using these tennis balls is so much better than using underwear."

[Danielle, with a smug expression, extends her arm, looking at her nails casually.]

Danielle: "I know. I'm good."

[Ramiro, who is driving the boat, becomes increasingly annoyed by their conversation. He coughs loudly to get their attention.]

Ramiro: "You know guys, I should be given some praise. After all, I gave all my underwear away just for this challenge."

Blaise: [glancing at Ramiro] "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

[However, Blaise's smug expression quickly turns to horror as he realizes what Ramiro just said.]

Blaise: "Wait a minute... You mean you gave me ALL your underwear?!"

Ramiro: [nodding] "Yeah, I did. Guess I'll be holding to the same briefs for a while."

Bri: "Gross, Ramiro! Too much information."

[Meanwhile, on the Swift Deers' boat, they reach the third buoy, and Rodrick takes charge once again, skillfully using the 'Cam-Flag Fetcher' to retrieve the third flag.]

[As the Swift Deers cheer for their successful retrieval of the third flag, Derek and Kathy high-five each other, thrilled to be in the lead.]

[Transitioning back to the Hazardous Bears' boat, Ramiro is at the helm, driving with a slightly frustrated expression.]

Ramiro: "Ugh. I can't even see the others now. They're too far ahead. Can any of you see their boat?"

[No one responds to Ramiro's question, and he glances back to see his teammates seemingly preoccupied with their own activities. Carlos and Iris are engaged in conversation, Danielle is on her phone, Blaise is casually relaxing, and Bri is enjoying the view.]

Ramiro: [murmuring to himself] "Some team."

[As Ramiro accelerates even more, trying to catch up with the Swift Deers, he addresses his teammates, raising a point of concern.]

Ramiro: "Yo, guys, you should look around for the sharks, you know? There may be some lurking underwater."

[Iris questions the likelihood of another shark attack.]

Iris: "What's the chance that a shark attacks us again?"

[Bri agrees with Iris, thinking it's minimal.]

Bri: "Yeah, it's probably minimal. Don't worry."

[As the team brushes off Ramiro's concerns, a real robotic shark suddenly emerges from the water and shocks everyone on the Hazardous Bears' boat. The shark opens its mouth wide and, to everyone's astonishment, actually consumes Ramiro in one swift gulp. The campers stare in disbelief, and Danielle's sarcastic comment only adds to the tension.]

Danielle: [sarcastic] "I guess the shark found a new chewing toy. Good riddance."

[However, much to everyone's surprise, the robotic shark spits Ramiro out moments later, and he resurfaces, looking dazed but is, surprisingly, well.]

Ramiro: [out of breath] "Well, that was... unexpected."

[Ramiro's near miss with the shark leaves him in disbelief, and with a sarcastic tone, he turns to Bri and Iris, remembering their earlier comments.]

Ramiro: "So what were you saying about the shark attacks being minimal?"

CONFESSIONAL - BRI

[Bri looks embarrassed and laughs nervously.]

Bri: "Oops, I guess I spoke too soon."

[She shakes her head, realizing that her earlier comment about the minimal chances of a shark attack was proven wrong in a rather unexpected and dramatic way.]

[The entire team is now on high alert as they realize the danger of the robotic sharks, and they must work together to navigate the treacherous waters and avoid any further close encounters.]

[Transitioning to the Swift Deers' boat, Kathy starts a conversation with Zane, who is at the helm, steering the boat through the waters. Kathy tries to impress Zane by commenting on his mechanical and driving skills.]

Kathy: "You know, Zane, not only are you a great mechanic, but you're also a fantastic driver. Your father really taught you well. With you at the wheel, we're gonna win this challenge for sure!"

[Zane's smile slightly fades, but he appreciates the compliment and continues with the small talk.]

Zane: "Thanks. I'm trying my best."

[As the focus shifts to Dirk, his stomach lets out a loud growl, drawing attention to his hunger.]

Dirk: "Man, I'm already hungry."

[Leon chuckles and comments on the situation, teasingly.]

Leon: "Only if we brought some fishing rods with us."

[Kathy agrees with the idea, trying to show off her skills and fit in with the group.]

Kathy: "That would be cool! All this time on the sea is making me hungry too. I actually have some fishing skills, so it'd be easy peasy."

[Leon seems surprised by Kathy's revelation.]

Leon: "Oh wow. I had no clue you were interested in fishing."

[Kathy clarifies that she isn't particularly interested in fishing, but she has some experience due to her father's hobby.]

Kathy: "Nah, it's not really my thing, but my father used to bring me along when he went fishing. It was one of his hobbies that lasted, like, what, six months?"

[Dirk chuckles at Kathy's comment and makes a lighthearted remark.]

Dirk: "Reminds me of two someones."

[Leon joins in with a playful grin.]

Leon: "Yeah."

[Kathy, confused by their exchange, asks for clarification.]

Kathy: "Who are you two talking about?"

[Leon quickly dismisses the topic, not wanting to delve into the personal details.]

Leon: "Oh, never mind."

[As the Swift Deers continue their conversation, they notice that the Hazardous Bears are getting closer, and Iris has just retrieved their third flag. Blaise resumes firing tennis balls at the Swift Deers.]

[Rodrick decides to retaliate and picks up some tennis balls that landed on their boat. He throws them back at the Hazardous Bears' boat with a smirk, aiming to hit Blaise, but the ball accidentally hits Ramiro on the nose instead. Ramiro winces in pain, momentarily losing control of the boat.]

[The Hazardous Bears' boat starts swaying in zig-zags as Ramiro covers his nose in pain. Everyone on the boat struggles to maintain their balance, and the situation becomes increasingly precarious.]

Iris: [trembling] "Ramiro, move aside! Let me handle this!"

[Iris bravely pushes Ramiro aside, taking control of the wheel to stabilize the boat. She grits her teeth, trying to keep the boat on course despite the wobbling caused by the tennis ball hit.]

Blaise: [smirking] "Nice save, Captain Trembles-a-Lot!"

[Iris shoots Blaise a playful glare, but she can't help but crack a smile, appreciating the compliment despite the insulting nickname.]

[Transitioning to the Swift Deers' boat, Jackie watches the events unfold and can't help but be impressed by Rodrick's accidental shot.]

Jackie: "Wow, nice shot, Rodrick."

[Rodrick tries to play it cool, not wanting to come across as overly eager or bragging just to impress Jackie.]

Rodrick: "Eh, just a lucky shot, nothing special."

[Jackie raises an eyebrow, surprised by Rodrick's modest response. She's used to him being more boastful.]

CONFESSIONAL - JACKIE

Jackie: "Rodrick being modest? Are you sure that wasn't a clone?"

[She chuckles, clearly amused by Rodrick's uncharacteristically humble response to his impressive shot. It's not something she sees from him often, and it catches her off guard.]

[As the Swift Deers' boat reaches the fourth buoy, Rodrick skillfully snatches the flag.]

Zane: "We're almost there, just a bit more to go!"

[However, the mood quickly changes as three robotic sharks suddenly emerge from the water, causing panic among the campers. Rodrick, in particular, starts to freak out due to his phobia of sharks.]

Rodrick: "Oh no, not sharks! I hate sharks!"

[Emilia, trying to keep Rodrick calm, starts reciting some facts about sharks, hoping it will help him relax.]

Emilia: "Well, Rodrick, you see, sharks are actually fascinating creatures. Did you know that the largest species of shark is the whale shark, and they can grow up to 40 feet long? But don't worry, these are just robotic sharks, not real ones."

[Rodrick, still anxious, retorts that knowing they're robotic doesn't make him feel any better.]

Rodrick: "I don't care if they're robotic, they still freak me out!"

[Suddenly, Derek comes up with an idea and decides to take advantage of the situation. He shoves Rodrick playfully, but with enough force to send him into the water.]

Derek: "Well, Rodrick, it's the perfect time for you to face your fear. Swim, buddy!"

[Rodrick resurfaces from the water, sputtering and looking shocked.]

Rodrick: "Derek, you jerk! This isn't funny!"

[Derek smirks, finding the situation amusing.]

Derek: "Just face your fear, dude! You'll be fine!"

[As Rodrick resurfaces from the water, sputtering and looking shocked, Leon and Dirk extend their hands to help him back onto the boat. However, they struggle to pull him up, causing Dirk to crack a joke.]

Dirk: "Whoa, Rodrick! What have you been eating, dude? You're heavier than a bag of bricks!"

[Rodrick glares at Dirk, not finding the situation humorous at all.]

Rodrick: "Just help me out, you morons!"

[Leon and Dirk manage to pull Rodrick back onto the boat, and he sits there, trying to catch his breath and regain composure. Derek smirks at him, still finding the situation amusing.]

Derek: "See, you're fine! No need to be scared of the robotic sharks anymore, right?"

[Rodrick scowls at Derek.]

Rodrick: "Shut up, Derek. That wasn't cool."

[Derek shrugs nonchalantly.]

Derek: "Hey, I was just trying to help you face your fear. You should thank me!"

[Rolling his eyes, Rodrick mutters under his breath.]

Rodrick: "Yeah, thanks for nothing."

[As the Swift Deers continue on their way, they see the Hazardous Bears' boat passing by them. They watch in frustration as Iris grabs the last flag, securing the win for the Hazardous Bears. Zane accelerates the boat, trying to catch up, but it's too late. The Hazardous Bears reach the beach just seconds before the Swift Deers. Chris greets them as they arrive.]

Chris: "Congratulations, Hazardous Bears! You've won the challenge!"

[The Hazardous Bears cheer and celebrate their victory, while the Swift Deers look disappointed and exhausted from the intense challenge.]

Chris: "Swift Deers, tough luck! It was a close one, but you couldn't quite make it. I'll see you all at the campfire ceremony tonight!"

[Derek stumbles back as Rodrick pushes him, anger evident on Rodrick's face.]

Rodrick: "This is all your fault! You slowed us down by shoving me into the water!"

[Derek looks taken aback by Rodrick's accusation, but he quickly regains his composure.]

Derek: "Hey, it was just a harmless joke! You need to chill, Rodrick."

[Rodrick's anger doesn't subside, and he glares at Derek.]

Rodrick: "Harmless joke? We could've won if it weren't for you!"

[Derek stands his ground, feeling defensive.]

Derek: "Well, maybe if you didn't let your fear get in the way, we would've won! It's not all on me!"

[The tension between Derek and Rodrick continues to escalate, with both of them refusing to back down.]

Chris: [interrupting] "Alright, alright, simmer down, drama kings. Save it for later."

[Derek and Rodrick glare at each other for a moment before reluctantly backing off. They both know they need to focus on the upcoming campfire ceremony and not let their personal issues interfere with the team dynamics.]

Chris: "Now, everyone head back to the cabins and prepare for the campfire ceremony. It's gonna be an interesting one!"

[The campers disperse, each deep in their thoughts about the upcoming elimination and the tensions within their team.]

[As Zane exits the communal toilet, he's surprised to see Rodrick waiting for him. Rodrick approaches him with a serious expression.]

Rodrick: "Hey, Zane, I've got a proposal to make."

Zane: [chuckling] "You can talk, as long as it's not a marriage proposal. I'm not ready to commit that quickly!"

Rodrick: [blushing] "Uh, no, definitely not a marriage proposal. Anyway, listen..."

Zane: [returning to a serious expression] "Alright, I'm all ears. What's your proposal?"

Rodrick: "I was thinking we should form an alliance. You and me, working together to get to the end."

Zane: "An alliance, huh? I've got to admit, you surprised me with this one. But why should I trust you? You haven't exactly been the most trustworthy person here."

[Rodrick smirks, trying to charm Zane into accepting the offer.]

Rodrick: "I get it. I may have rubbed some people the wrong way. But I'm serious about this alliance. Together, we can dominate this game."

[Zane remains unsure and stands firm in his belief that he prefers to work solo and values teamwork over plotting.]

Zane: "Look, Rodrick, I appreciate the offer, but I'm not a big alliance guy. I believe in teamwork and working together, not plotting against each other."

[Rodrick senses the resistance from Zane and decides to be more manipulative in his approach.]

Rodrick: "Come on, Zane, think about it. This isn't about plotting against our team, it's about having each other's backs. We both know there are players here who would do anything to win, even if it means throwing others under the bus. If we team up, we can protect each other and ensure we make it to the end together."

[Zane remains skeptical, but Rodrick's persuasive words start to make him consider the benefits of an alliance.]

Zane: "I suppose there's some truth to that. But how do I know I can trust you? You've been playing a pretty cutthroat game so far."

[Rodrick puts on a facade of sincerity, trying to win Zane's trust.]

Rodrick: "You're right, I have been playing hard, but that's only because I'm here to win. I've learned from my mistakes, and I promise I'll be loyal to this alliance. We can watch each other's backs, and no one will see it coming."

[Zane ponders Rodrick's words for a moment before giving a cautious nod.]

Zane: "Alright, I'll give it a shot. But one wrong move, and this alliance is over."

[Rodrick smiles triumphantly, knowing he's successfully persuaded Zane.]

Rodrick: "Deal."

Zane: "Do you have anyone in mind for this vote?"

[Rodrick smirks, knowing exactly who he wants to target.]

Rodrick: "Derek. He's a liability, and he made us lose today's challenge. It's a no-brainer, really."

[Zane considers the suggestion and agrees with Rodrick's assessment.]

Zane: "You're right. He's a good guy, but if we want to win, we can't afford to carry dead weight."

[Rodrick nods in agreement, pleased that Zane is on board with the plan.]

Rodrick: "Exactly. Now, before we head back to the cabins, can you do me a favor and talk to Kathy and Emilia? I've noticed that you have some influence on them. Just give them a little nudge in our direction, and we'll have the numbers."

[Zane looks a bit hesitant but ultimately agrees to help.]

Zane: "I'll see what I can do. But remember, one wrong move, and I'm out."

[Rodrick smirks confidently.]

Rodrick: "Don't worry, Zane. This is the start of something beautiful."

CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK

Rodrick: "And I didn't mean a word of what I just said. I'm just using Zane's influence on the team to vote Derek off. This is my best shot at doing so. After what happened today, I have no problems getting rid of him."

[Rodrick smirks deviously, knowing that he's playing the game strategically and using every advantage he can to further his own agenda.]

CONFESSIONAL - ZANE

Zane: "I'm not stupid. I know Rodrick is just using me to get rid of Derek. But you know what? I don't mind playing along for now. As long as me and the girls are safe, I'll go along with his plan. But I've got my eyes wide open. Rodrick may be crafty, but I'm not about to let him outmaneuver me."

[Zane smirks confidently, showing that he's willing to play the game strategically and protect his allies while keeping a close eye on Rodrick's moves.]

[Transition to later that day, at night. The campfire ceremony is underway, with Chris standing before the Swift Deers, holding a plate with seven marshmallows on it.]

Chris: "I only have seven marshmallows on my plate. These marshmallows represent safety. You've all casted your votes and made your decision. If you don't get a marshmallow, you must immediately go down to the Dock of Shame, catch the Boat of Losers, and leave. And you can't come back, ever!"

[The campers look tense, their fate hanging in the balance as Chris starts to hand out the marshmallows.]

Chris: "First marshmallow goes to... Kathy."

[Kathy catches her marshmallow and smiles, relieved to be safe.]

Chris: "Emilia."

[Emilia takes her marshmallow with a thankful nod.]

Chris: "Dirk and Leon!"

[Dirk and Leon both catch their marshmallows at the same time and share a quick nod before fist-bumping each other in celebration.]

Chris: "Jackie."

[Jackie smiles and takes her marshmallow.]

Chris: "And Zane."

[Zane nods, accepting his marshmallow.]

Chris: "Campers, this is the final marshmallow of the night."

[The atmosphere grows tense as Chris holds up the plate with only one marshmallow on it. Rodrick looks confident, knowing the outcome, while Derek appears nervous.]

Chris: "The last marshmallow goes to..."

[Rodrick smirks, fully expecting to receive the last marshmallow. Chris then says his name.]

Chris: "Rodrick."

[Chris tosses the marshmallow to Rodrick, who catches it effortlessly and eats it without a care in the world.]

[Derek looks disappointed but tries to maintain a stoic expression as he stands up.]

Chris: "Derek, it's time for you to go. Dock of Shame is that way."

[Derek takes a deep breath and nods, accepting his fate.]

[Derek walks towards the Dock of Shame, and as he passes his teammates, some of them wave goodbye.]

Leon: "See ya, dude."

Jackie: "Take care, Derek."

[Derek gives them a small smile, appreciating their farewell messages, despite the disappointment of being eliminated.]

Derek: "Thanks, guys. It's been real."

CONFESSIONAL - DEREK

Derek: "You know, getting eliminated stings a bit, but honestly, I'm cool with it. Turns out that a new horror movie I've been dying to see just got released, and I can't wait to watch it. Being here was a great experience and all, but I've got my priorities. It's time for some spooky movie night!"

[Derek grins excitedly, looking forward to enjoying his newfound freedom and indulging in his favorite genre of movies.]

[As Derek reaches the Dock of Shame, he boards the Boat of Losers and waves one last time to his former teammates. The boat sets off, taking Derek away from the competition.]

[The camera fades to black as Derek's boat sails away, marking the end of the episode.]

Hazardous Bears: Blaise, Carlos, Danielle, Iris, Ramiro, Bri

Swift Deers: Rodrick, Derek (Eliminated), Dirk, Leon, Emilia, Jackie, Kathy, Zane

Derek, Derek, Derek...What do I have to say about him? Well, he wasn't planned to be eliminated this early, that's for sure. But to sustain Rodrick more as a character, I had to make this happen and I think it works quite well. We all knew that Rodrick and Derek on the same team would have a bad outcome lol.

Funny fact, I was about 4k words onto this episode when I posted episode 7 and I had to change so many things about this episode just because it didn't make sense with what happened in episode 7. I improvised a lot of stuff in episode 7 and I already had the script for episode 8 and then I just had to forget about all of that and start over lol. That's why I took some time to come out with this episode (which I still think it's nothing special).

I am just that type of person that gets good ideas for the episodes randomly when I am doing something else, when my head is free.

Zane gets a lot of development this episode and that's given to me thinking he was too much of a nice guy. He needed more stuff going for him and now he has that. Such as this alliance with Rodrick. That wasn't planned at first because I think it's out of character for Zane but with a few changes here and there, I think it will make more sense as the story progresses. In the end, Zane gets along with everyone but he only created a strong bond with Kathy and Emilia. If you go back to episode 1, you'll see Zane wasn't too trilled about Leon and Dirk's energy. Zane's thing is that he's just a lone wolf, he's on by himself most of the times and doesn't want anyone to mess with him and he won't mess with anyone back. But he's also smart, if he sees a chance to get ahead, why not take it?

About Cameron's cameo, I just have to say that cameos from old characters will, from now on, play a big part on the season but not in the way you're probably thinking.

Also, you'll be able to vote for your episode so far! (Just put strawpoll with .com before and then /bVg8o1L0NnY after.)

I think this is it for this episode. Don't forget to leave a review so I can know your thoughts on everything going on and, most importantly, so I can improve as a writer!
