Amity's intro
Water. Earth. Fire. Air.
Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed her most, she vanished. A hundred years passed, and me, Willow
and Gus discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Luz. And although her airbending skills are great, she has a lot to learn before she's ready to save anyone.
But I believe Luz can save the world.
The episode opens to show a koala otter calmly floating on its back on the water, purring slightly. Noticing something approaching to its right, it turns its head, chirps, and dives under water as a large shadow passes it by. It turns out to be Appa flying overhead.
(Hanging lazily over the back of Appa's saddle, grumpily.) "I'm not one to complain," (Side-view shows Appa flying just above the water.) "but can't Appa fly any higher?" Willow asked
Willow's words barely left her lips as Appa loses more altitude and his paws drag through the water momentarily, before rising slightly again. Cut to a shot from Appa's saddle, showing a bored Amity popping herself up on her elbows, staring into nothingness in front of her, along with a lazily Gus and Eda bending some water back and forth and a peeved Luz looking back from atop Appa's head.
(Irritably.) "I have an idea! Why don't we all get on your" (Points angrily at Willow, Amity briefly looks at Luz, but resumes her stare in front of her.) "back and you could fly us to the North Pole?!" Luz asked
(Back-view of Willow looking over her shoulder, sarcastically.) "I'd love to." (Points to her back.) "Climb on everyone," (Shakes her rear.) "Willow's ready for take off." Willow said
A chirping King hops on her back, making Willow shoot an angry glare at the animal. Cut back to the shot of Luz, Amity, Gus and Eda, with the latter still staring angrily at Willow.
(Waving her hands up and down while shifting looks between Luz and Willow.) "Look, we're all just a little tired and cranky because we've been flying for two days straight." Amity said
(Frontal shot, King is now on her lap, annoyed.) "And for what? We can't even find the Northern Water Tribe." (Cut to a wide side-shot, revealing Appa floating along a vast ocean of only water and ice.) "There's nothing up here." Willow said
Cut to Luz and Amity, with the former having laid down her head in boredom, letting it rest on her hands. She looks up in wonder when a slushing sound can be heard. Cut to a frontal shot of Appa, while the water in front of him suddenly rises and solidifies to ice spikes. Cut to a frontal shot of Luz
screaming in fright, her eyes wide in horror, as she violently yanks the reins to her right in an attempt to avoid the sudden obstacle. Cut to a side-view of a growling and turning Appa. Cut to the others yelling in fright as they hold on for dear life to the sides of the saddle. Cut to a back-shot of a swerving Appa, who suddenly shoots up as another ice spike manifests right in front of him. A close-up shot of his underside shows that he was not quick enough, and part of the ice attaches itself to his leg, freezing instantly. His momentum causes the ice to break, but he is thrown off balance and catapulted away. Frontal shot of Amity, Gus, Willow and Eda who loudly scream in fright. Cut to a wider shot of Appa spiraling toward the camera, before switching to an overview shot of him landing into the water, throwing it up high. As he turns upright again, the water around him instantly freezes, and he is locked in place. Cut to the surrounding ice spikes from which Water Tribe boats appear, each carrying several waterbenders, surrounding the team. Cut to a surprised looking Gus and an alarmed looking Willow who is reaching for her boomerang atop the saddle while Amity and Eda peeked through the holes on the sides of the saddle.
"They're waterbenders!" (Happily.) "We found the Water Tribe!" Gus said
"Well I'll be" Eda said (sits up happy to see waterbenders)
Cut to a more far-off shot of the scene, revealing Appa to be frozen in the water, with six Water Tribe boats surrounding him.
The scene switches to a Fire Navy base in the Fire Nation harbor. The camera cuts to inside a guarded tent, where Bhao is standing before a map of the Avatar World.
"She's heading north. The Northern Water Tribe. The Avatar needs to master waterbending. She's looking for a teacher." Bhao said
(Impatiently.) "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go get him!" one of the captain said
"Patience, Captain Li. This isn't some little Earth village we can just march into. The Water Tribe is a great nation. There's a reason they've survived a hundred years of war. The frozen tundra is treacherous, the landscape itself is an icy fortress. We'll need a massive invasion force." Bhao said
The scene changes to the North Pole where the group is being escorted to Agna Qel'a. The magnificent wall of the city comes into view much to everyone's amazement.
(Pointing excitedly.) "There it is!" Luz said
(In awe.) "The Northern Water Tribe." Gus said
(Surprised.) "We're finally here." Eda said
(Amazed) "It's incredible" Amity said
(Shocked) "And big, I thought it would be like the Southern Water Tribe?" Willow said (gets elbowed in the arm by Gus)
A portion of the icy wall is lowered, allowing them to enter into the city. Canal workers use waterbending to transport the group into the city.
(Fascinated.) "I can't believe how many waterbenders live up here!" Gus said
(To Gus.) "We'll find a master to teach us, no problem." Luz said
The team passes through the channels of the city, catching the attention of several civilians who run over to spectate them. Luz waves happily at the people. As they continue their trek inward, Willow notices a young man going by on a boat, capturing his attention. She blushes at the sight of him and leaps onto Appa's tail as he pulls away from view.
"This place is beautiful." Amity said
"Yeah ... he is …" Willow said (not knowing what Amity meant)
The scene changes to nightfall, where Lilith's ship is docked in a port. Members of the crew have gathered for music night on the ship. Lieutenant Jee plays a lute as Kaldo sings. Several other crew members play instruments or dance.
(Singing.) "Winter, spring ... Summer, and fall ... Winter, spring ... Summer, and fall ... Four seasons ... four loves ... Four seasons ... for love." Kaldo sang
The music stops as they notice Admiral Bhao boarding the ship, along with two soldiers. The crew looks in surprise at the admiral. A high-pitched chord emits from the lute. The scene switches back to Agna Qel'a, where Team Avatar is being honored with a feast, hosted by the tribe's chief. Men play drums and a giant crab is set in a pool of water.
"Tonight, we celebrate the arrival of our brother and sister from the Southern Tribe. And they have brought with them, two princesses and a friend, someone very special, someone whom many of us believed disappeared from the world until now ... the Avatar!" (Crowd applauds and cheers.) "We also celebrate my son's sixteenth birthday. Prince Loe is now of marrying age!" the Tribe Chief said
"Thank you, Father. May the great Ocean and Moon Spirits watch over us during these troubled times!" Loe said
"Now, Master Pakku and his students will perform!" the Tribe Chief said
Pakku and two students bend significant blobs of water, captivating the group. They merge the three blobs into one stream, bending it around each other. Loe approaches Willow.
"Hi there. I'm Willow, a friend of the boy from the Southern Water Tribe." Willow said
(Smiling and bowing slightly.) "Very nice to meet you." Loe said (They nervously share an awkward silence for a moment.)
(Nervously.) "So ... uhhh ... you're a prince, huh?" (he nods and smiles.) "You know, back in my kingdom, I'm kind of a princess, myself." Willow said (Shot pans left to reveal Amity.)
(Hopping in on the conversation, teasingly.] "Hey, you are a princess, okay?" Amity asked
"I know that! Do you mind? I'm trying to have a conversation here." Willow said
(Sarcastically.) "My apologies, your Highness." Amity said
"So, it looks like I'm going to be in town for a while. I'm thinking ... maybe we could ... do an activity, together?" Willow asked
(Slightly confused, laughs.) "Do an activity?" Loe asked
Embarrassed while sweating, Willow stuffs food in her mouth. Screens widens to the left to show Amity clearly enjoying her friend's attempt at courting.
"Very smooth …" Amity said
Cut to a long shot of the plaza fountain. In front of it stand the Chief, Master Pakku and Luz. The Chief and Luz go to Pakku.
"Master Pakku, meet your newest student, the Avatar." the Chief said (Luz bows.)
"Just because you're destined to save the world, don't expect any special treatment." Pakku said
"My friend and I can't wait to start training with you! After we relax for a couple of days." Luz said
"If you want to relax, then I suggest visiting a tropical island. If not, I'll see you both at sunrise. Good night." Pakku said
Back on Lilith's ship. Kaldo enters Lilith's room.
"For the last time, I'm not playing the tsungi horn!" Lilith said
"No, it's about our plans. There's a bit of a problem." Kaldo said
Bhao enters.
"I'm taking your crew." Bhao said
(Cut to a shocked Lilith.) "What?!" Lilith yelled (Turns around to face Bhao.)
"I've recruited them for a little expedition to the North Pole." Bhao said
"Kaldo, is that true?" Lilith asked
"I'm afraid so. He's taking everyone …" (Putting his arm over his face in woe.) "even the cook." Kaldo said
"Sorry you won't be there to watch me capture the Avatar. But I can't have you getting in my way again." Bhao said
(Cuts to a furious Lilith. Lilith charges at Bhao in anger, but Kaldo cuts her off.) "No!" Kaldo said
Bhao notices a pair of swords on the wall. Cut to a close-up of Bhao's face, swollen in anger as he recognizes the blades. He flashes back to the Rescue in Pohuai Stronghold, where the same swords were wielded by the previously-unknown Blue Spirit. He takes one off the wall, cut to Lilith's face, her eyes wide and mouth open, clearly recognizing the danger she is in. Kaldo, visible over Lilith's shoulder, does not. Cut back to Bhao, who begins practicing with the sword he has removed from the wall.
"I didn't know you were skilled with broadswords, Commander Lilith." Bhao said
"I'm not. They're antiques. Just decorative." Lilith said
"Have you heard of the Blue Spirit, Lieutenant Kaldo?" Bhao asked
"Just rumors. I don't think she is real." Kaldo said
"She's real, all right." (He hands the broad sword to Kaldo.) "She's a criminal, and an enemy of the Fire Nation. But I have a feeling justice will catch up with her soon." (Bhao moves to exit the cabin.) "Lieutenant Kaldo, the offer to join my mission still stands ... if you change your mind." Bhao said
The next morning, at the Northern Water Tribe.
(Excitedly.) "I've waited for this day my whole life. I finally get to learn from a real waterbending master!" Gus said
Pakku is bending a stream of water.
"Good morning, Master Pakku!" Luz said
(Drops the water, and speaks in an annoyed tone.) "No, please, march right in. I'm not concentrating or anything." Pakku said
"Uhhh ... This is my friend, Gus. The one I told you about?" Luz asked
"I'm sorry, I think there's been a misunderstanding. You didn't tell me your friend was a twelve year old. In our tribe, it is forbidden for young ones to learn waterbending." Pakku said
Cut to a shot panning up Gus's body, his face clearly reflecting the anger he feels.
Cut to a long, overhead shot of the Northern Water Tribe city, looking back from the main wall to the citadel. Cut back to a close up of Gus.
(Angrily.) "What do you mean you won't teach me? I didn't travel across the entire world so you could tell me no!" Gus said
"No." Pakku said
"You can't teach me, but you teached a female waterbender in your tribe!" (gets his ear pulled by Eda who walked in with Amity from behind) "ow!" Gus yelped
"Careful of what you say, kid" Eda said
"Why don't you head over there" (Pakku points to an ice building where young girls are walking into) "the women learn from Yagoda to use their waterbending to heal. I'm sure she would be happy to take you as her student, despite your bad attitude." Pakku said
"I don't want to heal, I want to fight!" Gus said
"I can see that. But our tribe has customs, rules." Pakku said
(Furious.) "Well, your rules stink!" Gus yelled (gets held back by Eda)
(Also just as angry. Gets held back by Amity) "Yeah, they're not fair! If you won't teach Gus, then …" Luz didn't finish
"Then what?" Pakku asked
"Then I won't learn from you!" Luz yelled
"Well, have fun teaching yourself! I'm sure you'll do a great job." Pakku said
"Wait! Luz didn't mean that!" (Goes to Luz.) "You can't risk your training for me. You have to learn from Master Pakku, even if he is a big jerk." Gus said
Luz nods. Gus exits.
"Why don't we get started, then?" Pakku asked (Luz gets hit with a water blast from him, making Amity and Eda flinch from seeing it.)
In another part of the city. Willow catches up with Prince Loe.
"Prince Loe, good morning! How about that picnic last night? Boy, your dad sure does know how to throw a party." Willow said
"I'm happy you enjoyed yourself." Loe said
"Well, it wasn't as much fun after you left." (They both blush.) "So, I'm still hoping we can see more of each other." Willow said
"Do an activity, you mean?" Loe asked
"Yes ... at a place ... for some time." Willow said
(Laughs.) "I'd love to. I'll meet you on that bridge tonight." Loe said (Points at a bridge.)
"Great! I'll see you– Ah!" Willow yelped (Falls into the water.)
(Laughs.) "Sorry." Loe said
(Climbs out of the water.) "That's okay, it was worth it. See you tonight." Willow said
Back at the Fire Navy base.
"I'm very impressed. You all seem highly qualified for the mission I have in mind." Bhao said
The pirate captain pulls a small chest toward him and opens it, a dim glow radiating from within. Pirate Barker Al takes a piece of gold from the chest and bites down on it.
"That's some tasty gold. He means business" Al said
"What do you need us to do?" the Pirate Captain asked
"I believe you're acquainted with Commander Lilith." Bhao said
Back to the Northern Water Tribe, where Gus enters the healing hut.
"Uhhh ... Hi. Are you Yagoda?" Gus asked
"Are you here for the healing lesson?" Yagoda asked
(Looks at all the young girls, and speaks in a disappointed tone.) "Pakku sent me here, soI guess I am." Gus said
"Welcome ... welcome!" Yagoda said
Back at Pakku's class. Luz is working with a stream of water.
"You're moving the water around, but you're not feeling the push and pull." Pakku said
"I'm trying …" Luz said
(Slurps some soup.) "Maybe that move is too advanced for you. Why don't you teach her an easier one?" Eda asked
"Agreed" Pakku said
Luz slams down the water in frustration as Amity pats Luz's shoulder. Back at the healing hut, Gus starts a conversation with Yagoda.
"Thanks for the lesson." Gus said
"So, who's the lucky girl?" Yagoda asked
"Huh?" Gus asked
"Your betrothal necklace. You're getting married, right?" Yagoda asked
(Shocked.) "Ah ... No. I don't think I'm ready for that yet. My grandmother gave my mother this necklace and my mother passed it down to me." Gus said
"I recognize this carving! I don't know why I didn't realize sooner, you're the spitting image of Kanna!" Yagoda said
(Confused.) "Wait, how do you know my Gran-Gran's name?" Gus asked
"When I was about your age, I was friends with Kanna. She was born here in the Northern Tribe." Yagoda said
"She never told me." Gus said
"Your grandmother had an arranged marriage with a young waterbender. He carved that necklace for her." Yagoda said
"If Gran-Gran was engaged, why did she leave?" Gus asked
"I don't know. That's always been a mystery to me. She left without saying goodbye." Yagoda said
Later that night, at Lilith's ship.
"Good luck!" a crew member said
Inside Lilith's room.
(Cut to a shot of Commander Lilith lying in bed in the foreground of her cabin. The door opens and Kaldo sticks his head in. Entering.) "The crew wanted me to wish you safe travels." Kaldo said
(Bitterly.) "Good riddance to those traitors." Lilith said
"It's a lovely night for a walk. Why don't you join me? It would clear your head." (No response.) "Or just stay in your room and sit in the dark. Whatever makes you happy." Kaldo said
The pirates make their way onto Lilith's ship, bringing up blasting jelly.
"Careful with the blasting jelly!" Al said
(Hearing the noise.) "Kaldo? Kaldo, is that you?" Lilith asked (Walks around the ship.)
The fuse to the blasting jelly is lit. The ship explodes.
"Lilith!" (Runs back to see the ship destroyed.) "Lilith …" Kaldo said in despair
(note by Darth Nominatis: don't worry, Lilith isn't dead, I feel bad about what happened though)
Back to the North Pole. Willow goes to meet Loe, who is looking out over the bridge.
"Hi, Prince Loe. I made you something. I carved it myself." Willow said
Shows him a roughly-crafted creature.
"It's a bear." Loe said
"Actually, it's supposed to be a fish." (Flips the carved creature around.) "See, it has a fin." Willow said
"Oh. I'm sorry, I made a mistake. I shouldn't have asked you to come here." Loe said (Runs away.)
Willow is left stunned. She throws the fish into the water. Cut to the team's place of stay.
"How's warrior training going?" Eda asked (Willow kicks her bag.)
"That bad?" Luz asked
"No, it's Prince Loe. I don't get it, one minute he wants to go out with me, and the next, he's telling me to get lost." (Turns to Gus, changing the topic.) "So, how's waterbending training?" Willow asked
"Master Poophead won't teach him because he's too young." Luz said
"Why don't you just teach him, Luz?" Willow asked
(Excited.) "Why didn't we think of that? At night, you can teach Gus whatever moves you learn from Master Pakku! That way, you have someone to practice with, and he gets to learn waterbending! Everyone's happy!" Amity said
"I'm not happy." Willow said
"But you're never happy. Come on, Luz." Gus said (about to leave only to be stopped from bumping into Eda)
"No you don't, if Pakku finds out that you're teaching Gus waterbending behind his back, he would be mad" (looks down at them only to see they had left without her knowing and went after them) "hey!" Eda shouted
Outside, near the water.
"I'm telling you! This is a bad idea!" Eda said
"Just let them do it, I have a feeling something bad will happen anyway" Willow said
(Bending up some water.) "Master Pakku said this move is all about sinking and floating." Luz said (Sends the water to him.)
(Bending the water.) "I got it!" Gus said
The water suddenly shoots upward.
"That was amazing!" Amity said
"That wasn't Gus." Eda said (points up for them to see Pakku looking down at them from atop a ledge)
Master Pakku has caught them. He takes the water, freezes it, and sticks the ice crystals into the ground.
"I was just showing Katara a few moves." Luz said
"You have disrespected me, my teachings, and my entire culture." Pakku said
"I'm sorry, I …" Luz didn't finish
"You are no longer welcome as my student." Pakku said
The next morning, the group meet with the Chief, Master Pakku, and the Chief's family members.
"What do you want me to do? Force Master Pakku to take Aang back as his student?" the Chief asked
"Yes ... please!" Gus said
"I suspect he might change his mind, if you swallow your pride and apologize to him." the Chief said
"Fine." Gus said
"I'm waiting, little boy." Pakku said
"No." (Begins cracking the ice inadvertently.) "No way am I apologizing to a sour old man like you!" Gus yelled (Two pots shatter.)
"Uhhh ... Gus?" Luz asked (gets her mouth covered by Amity in panic)
"Don't, you'll just make it worse." Amity whispered
"I'll be outside if you're man enough to fight me." Gus said
Loe gasps. Gus angrily walks out.
"I'm sure he didn't mean that." Luz said
"Yeah, I think he did." Willow said
"For real?" Eda asked
Back at the Fire Navy base. Bhao meets with Kaldo over tea.
"I'm devastated to hear about Commander Lilith. Just ... devastated." Bhao said
"The Fire Lord will not be pleased when he learns who was responsible." Kaldo said
"You know who was behind the attack?" Bhao asked
"Yes ... pirates. We had a run-in with them a while back. They wanted revenge." Kaldo said
(Sips his tea.) "So, have you reconsidered my offer?" Bhao asked
"Yes, I accept. It will be an honor to serve as your general. To the Fire Nation!" Kaldo sai
"To victory!" Bhao said
Back to the Northern Tribe. The group head outside, looking for Pakku.
"Are you crazy, Gus? You're not going to win this fight!" Willow said in panic
(Takes off his coat.) "I know! I don't care!" Gus said
"You don't have to do this for me. I can find another teacher." Luz said
"Pakku is actually the only one here." Eda said
(elbows Eda in the arm) "not helping." Amity said
"I'm not doing it for you! Someone needs to slap some sense into that guy!" (Pakku comes down.) "So, you decided to show up?" (Pakku walks away.) "Aren't you going to fight?" Gus asked
"Go back to the healing huts with the women where you belong." (Gus tightens his fist and sends water whips at him. Pakku halts.) "Fine. You want to learn to fight so bad? Study closely!" (He bends two streams of water from nearby pools and sends them both at a charging Gus, who falls back. He joins the two streams together, encircling both Gus and himself in a forceful ring of water.) "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you!" Pakku said
Gus edges away from the ring and redirects the water away. The resulting blast hits Willow. Pakku builds an ice wall in defense, which Gus slides up. He lands onto a nearby post. He melts the ice and directs the full blast at him. However, Gus freezes his feet down and is able to direct the blast away.
(Determined.) "You can't knock me down!" Gus said
Some of the crowd cheers.
"Go, Gus!" Luz cheered
"Don't get hurt!" Amity shouted
Gus charges at him, Pakku draws up a wall of ice, which he quickly liquefies. He attempts to land blows, but Pakku ducks them all. He whips water and throws him into a pool, earning the approval of other members of the crowd.
Gus emerges from the pool, shakes out his hair, and summons a small pillar of ice, where he proceeds to send a series of ice discs at his opponent. Pakku breaks up most of them using his wrists. The camera closes up to a slow-motion shot of one coming very close to hitting him. He looks at him in irritation. Gus, now back on the ground, attacks by sending a stream of water at him. However, Pakku generates it into a larger stream of water and sends it full force at him. Gus is sent back several feet. A close-up shot of him shows him bent over, breathing hard. He rises suddenly and sends two snow pillars down at him which Pakku turns to a dusty mist of snow. The mist clears.
"Well, I'm impressed. You are an excellent waterbender." Pakku said
"But you still won't teach me, will you?" Gus asked
"No." Pakku said
Gus bends over sharply, sending a wave of ice at Pakku, who merely raises himself onto an ice pillar. He proceeds to liquefy the pillar, charging straight at Gus, who sends a powerful stream of water his way. Pakku avoids the attack, instead managing to freeze Gus' stream of water which he slides across. He surges past him and strikes him down, knocking his necklace off in the process. Gus falls roughly to the ground as Pakku lands onto the rim of a pool, bends a tower of water and manipulates the stream overhead his opponent. He deftly freezes the water into several ice shards, which he sends down at Gus. He becomes trapped in the flurry of frozen daggers and appears still for a moment. The crowd gasps in horror; one child looks away in fear. Gus lifts his head and begins to struggle, attempting to break free as Pakku casually strolls away.
"This fight is over." Pakku said
"Come back here. I'm not finished yet!" Gus yelled
"Yes, you are." (Notices the necklace.) "This is my necklace …" Pakku said
"No, it's not. It's mine! Give it back!" Gus said
"I made this sixty years ago for the love of my life ... for Kanna." Pakku said
(Unfreezing the ice, surprised.) "My Gran-Gran was supposed to marry you?" Gus asked
Back at the Fire Navy base. The ships are set to begin the trek north. On board, Kaldo meets up with Lilith, who is disguised as a shipman.
"Our plan is working perfectly. Bhao doesn't suspect a thing." Kaldo said
"You didn't have to do this." Lilith said
"No commander of mine is going to stow away on a ship without some backup." Kaldo said
"Thank you, Lieutenant." Lilith said
A door opens.
"Someone's coming. Stay hidden until we get to the North Pole and the Avatar will be yours. Good luck." Kaldo said (The two head their separate ways.)
The scene changes back to the North Pole.
"I carved this necklace for your grandmother when we got engaged. I thought we would have a long, happy life together. I loved her." Pakku said
"But she didn't love you, did she? It was an arranged marriage. Gran-Gran wouldn't let your tribe's stupid customs run her life. That's why she left. It must have taken a lot of courage." Gus said
Loe cries and runs away.
(To Willow.) "Go get him." Luz said
Willow exits. Later that night, she catches up with him on the bridge.
"What do you want from me?" Loe asked
"Nothing. I just want you to know, I think you're wonderful, and I never thought a boy like you would even notice a girl like me." Willow said
"You don't understand." Loe said
"No, no. See, that's the thing. I think I do understand now. You're a Prince, and I'm ... I'm just some Southern warrior when I left my kingdom."
"No, Willow …" Loe said
"It's okay. You don't have to say anything. I'll see you around, okay?" (Loe grabs her and kisses her.) "Okay, now I'm really confused. Happy, but confused." Willow said
"I do like you, a lot. But we can't be together, and not for the reason you think. It's because ... I'm engaged." (He pulls down the sleeve of his coat and shows her his betrothal wristband.) "I'm sorry." Loe said (Runs off.)
The next morning, at Pakku's class. Luz turns a blob of water into a stream and awkwardly sends it off.
"Not bad, not bad." (Laughs.) "Keep practicing and maybe you'll get it by the time you're my age." Pakku said
Luz turns around, annoyed, but quickly smiles when she notices Gus coming up.
"Hey, Gus!" Luz said
"What do you think you're doing?" (Pause as Gus looks up.) "It's past sunrise. You're late." Pakku said
"Good to see you here." Luz said
"You, too." Gus said
Back at the Fire Navy fleet. Bhao and Kaldo stand on top of the lead ship.
"My fleet is ready. Set a course for the Northern Water Tribe." Bhao said
Cut to a panning overhead shot, which reveals dozens of Fire Navy ships firing up their engines in preparation to launch the final assault on the Northern Water Tribe.
Fade to white, followed by credits.
