Amity's intro
Water. Earth. Fire. Air.
Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed her most, she vanished. A hundred years passed, and me, Willow
and Gus discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Luz. And although her airbending skills are great, she has a lot to learn before she's ready to save anyone.
But I believe Luz can save the world
The episode opens to the Northern Water Tribe as the siege continues. Four fireballs streak past the screen. Cuts to an overhead shot of Agna Qel'a as the fireballs strike various locations. The camera pans downward past the Tribal Chief's palace to the Spirit Oasis where Appa can be seen presiding by the pond. Cuts to shot of the two koi fish, the Moon and Ocean Spirits, swimming in their usual circular pattern
(Off-screen, sorrowfully.) "I can't believe we lost her." Gus said
Cut to a full shot of the pond, Gus, Willow, Eda and Loe standing beside Amity, who is kneeling on the ground.
"You did everything you could, and now we need to do everything we can to get him back." (Cuts to shot of Amity who looks up at her friends, tears in her eyes.) "Lilith can't have gotten far. We'll find her. Luz's gonna be fine." Willow said
"Okay." (Closes eyes and gets up. Camera pans over to where King remains motionless on the ground. Cuts to a shot of Appa, Amity having mounted the bison.) "It's all right. You stay here, King, in case Luz comes back."
"Yip, yip." Eda said
The camera pans upward as Appa takes off, heading upward to a location above the oasis, a vast frozen tundra where a blizzard is raging. Cuts to a shot of the icy terrain of the tundra as the bison progresses. Cuts to a shot of the ground, a path visible in the snow where someone has clearly been trudging along, the camera pans upward. Cuts to shot of Lilith plodding through the snow, her face partially covered to protect her from the cold, Luz slung across her back. Cuts to a shot of an unconscious Luz, her tattooed arrows glowing.
The scene changes suddenly, zooming out on Luz who is sitting in a meditating position on a small wooden platform in an unknown location in the Spirit World. Cuts to shot of his surroundings which are not that of the icy tundra, but a mystical swamp dotted with trees. A large white bird of some sort
flies past. Cuts to shot of Luz as the bird flies over the screen, she stands and begins wandering about. Cuts to shot of a figure in the distance sitting beneath a simple wooden entranceway. The figure can be heard uttering the sound "Ohm". Luz appears on-screen, turns her head in the direction of the sound and begins making her way toward the figure. Cuts to a side-view of the figure, a monkey-like creature, as Luz approaches him, before cutting to a shot of the two with the figure's back to the camera.
"Hello? I'm sorry to disturb you. I just really need to find the Moon and the Ocean Spirits." Luz said
(Cut to a frontal shot of the baboon spirit.) "Go. Away." (Opens one eye. Cut back to the side-shot.) "You're still here?" the Baboon Spirit asked
"Yes, I need -" Luz didn't get to say
(Cut to a close-up of the baboon spirit who shuts his eyes tightly. Louder, trying to distract himself.) "Ohm!" (A firefly flies past, points at the insect.) "Perhaps that thing will help you. Chase it." (Luz runs after it. The mystical monkey keeps his eyes shut for a second more before opening one to confirm Luz's departure. He shakes his head and breathes a sigh of relief.) "Finally." the Baboon Spirit said
Cuts to a shot of Luz chasing the insect throughout the swamp and up a tree. She leaps up and manages to grasp hold of it and is delighted in doing so. Cuts to a zoomed out shot of her as she lands on a tree branch which instantly shrivels up and disappears entirely, causing her to fall. Cuts briefly to a close-up shot of an alarmed Luz before switching to a shot of her falling into the water. Luz is shown lying on her back in the water, the firefly having escaped her grip. It flies away as she tries to reach it again.
"Come back!" Luz said
She stands up. Cuts to a shot of her looking down at the water, when Moku suddenly appears before Luz in a reflection in the water.
"Hello, Luz." Moku said
(Looking at him, surprised.) "Moku!" Luz said
The scene cuts back to the real world, where Lilith continues her trek through the icy tundra. Cuts to a close-up of her before a shot of the ground where she steps on ice that begins cracking beneath her feet, her eyes widened in surprise at this. Cuts to an overhead shot of her, the camera zooming out, as the ice begins to splinter and cave in. Cuts to a shot of her on high alert as she begins running, before switching to an overhead shot of her as she races through the snow. Cuts to a shot of her as the impact of the ice caving in throws her off-balance.
Lilith is thrown several feet away and lands roughly in the snow, losing her grip on Luz and kicking up a cloud of snow. The cloud dissipates, showing Lilith and Luz lying in the snow. Cuts to a shot of Lilith, as she raises her head and looks at the scene. Cuts to a shot of the aftermath of the cave-in, the ground severely disrupted, and a shot of Lilith once more. She spots a cave off in the distance.
"Shelter." Lilith said (Drags Luz into the cave and ties her up.)
Back in the Spirit World, Luz is speaking with Moku.
"Moku, the Water Tribe is under attack. I need to find the Ocean and the Moon Spirits." Luz said
(Pops out of the reflection in front of Luz.) "The Ocean and the Moon are ancient spirits. They crossed over the Spirit World to the mortal world very near the beginning. There is only one spirit I know of who is old enough to remember." Moku said
"Who?" Luz asked
"The spirit's name is Koh, but he is very dangerous. They call him the Face Stealer." (Luz looks horrified.) "When you speak with him, you must be very careful to show no emotion at all. Not the slightest expression, or he will steal your face." Moku said (Luz looks even more horrified but calmly nods, understanding the situation.)
Meanwhile, in the real world, Amity, Gus, Willow, Eda and Loe have arrived to where the ice broke earlier. In the cave, Lilith is keeping warm with Breath of Fire while Luz, now tied up, remains in the Spirit World.
"I finally have you, but I can't get you home because of this blizzard." (Stands up and looks outside the cave.) "There's always something. Not that you would understand. You're like the second in command. Everything always came easy to her. She's a firebending expert, and everyone adores her. The Fire Lord says she was born lucky. He says I was lucky to be born. I don't need luck, though. I don't want it. I've always had to struggle and fight and that's made me strong. It's made me who I am." Lilith said
Meanwhile, back at the invasion, the Fire Nation has breached part of the wall. On the lead ship, Bhao and Kaldo are speaking.
"I don't need to remind you we have a time limit. If we don't defeat the Water Tribe before the full moon rises, they will be undefeatable." Kaldo said
"I assure you I have everything under control. I intend to remove the moon as a factor." Bhao said
(Shocked.) "Remove the moon? How?" Kaldo asked
Lana appears behind them and points her spear at Bhao.
"Admiral Choi! Prepare to meet your fate!" Lana said
She charges at Bhao, who casually tosses her overboard as she is still screaming. A loud splash is heard, while Kaldo shakes his head in disappointment.
(Continuing as if nothing happened.) "As I was saying, years ago I stumbled upon a great and powerful secret, the identity of the Moon Spirit's mortal form." Bhao said
"What?" Kaldo asked
"I was a young lieutenant serving under General Shu in the Earth Kingdom." (Fade to a flashback of a young Bhao tearing through scrolls in a library.) "I discovered a hidden library. Underground, in fact. I tore through scroll after scroll. One of them contained a detailed illustration, and the words "moon" and "ocean". I knew then that these spirits could be found and killed." (The memory ends with a close up of Bhao's eyes, fade to the present.) "And that it was my destiny to do so." Bhao said
(Somewhat angrily.) "Bhao, the spirits are not to be trifled with!" Kaldo said
"Yes, yes ... I know you fear the spirits, Kaldo. I've heard rumors about your journey into the Spirit World. But the Ocean and Moon gave up their immortality to become a part of our world. And now they will face the consequences." Bhao said
Back in the Spirit World, Luz walks up a giant tree, seeing the entrance to the cave Koh can be found in. Luz stares and slightly steps toward the cave hearing creepy noises. She glances to her left, noticing that the noise wasn't coming from the cave. Luz sighs in relief.
"You're just a curly tailed blue nose." Luz said
The monkey turns its head toward Luz, exposing that he has no face.
(Startled.) "Aaahhh!" (Luz takes a deep breath and speaks with her and Avatar Moku's voices combined.) "Show no fear. Show no emotion at all." Luz said
Luz steps into the cave with a straight face.
"Hello? I-I'm looking for a spirit named 'Koh'." Luz said
As Luz says the spirit's name, some "roots" on the ceiling begin to move. Luz looks around, sensing movement, but sees nothing. Cut to a close-up of Luz's face that pans slightly left, leaving the right hand portion of the screen over her shoulder momentarily empty. A moment later, a white face appears with gray patches around its eyes and luscious, blood-red lips. Cut to a close-up of the lips, which smile. Cut to a profile of Luz, her face emotionless. Suddenly, a huge centipede-like body arcs around Luz and appears in front of her face. The white, clown-like face of Koh is inches away from Luz. Around the spirit's face are eight additional legs.
(Creepily, circling Luz.) "Welcome!" Koh said
Luz keeps her face straight. Cut to a long shot, the spirit hangs from the ceiling in front of Luz, who bows with her hands clasped in front of him in a gesture of honor.
(Emotionlessly.) "Thank you." Luz said (Koh wheels around Luz to look at her from behind. His voice is low and melodic, almost purring.)
"My old friend, the Avatar. It's been a long time." Koh said
"You know me?" Luz asked
(Now facing the camera, away from Luz.) "How could I forget" (He switches with a "winking" effect, as if some sort of nictitating membrane closes briefly over the old face to reveal a new one, to a mad face of a middle-aged, mustached man with thick eyebrows, long mustache, and beard, angrily.) "you? One of your previous incarnations tried to slay me! Nearly eight or nine hundred years ago." Koh said
(Confused, yet seriously.) "I didn't know that. Why did he, or I, try to kill you?" Luz asked
(Switches to Ummi's scared, sad face.) "Oh, it was something about stealing the face of someone you loved." (Cut to a close-up of Luz with the camera slowing, zooming in on her face. Cut back to Koh, whose face turns malicious and switches to a baboon's while laughing. Switch to a side-shot, Luz keeps a straight face while not taking her eyes off Koh as he circles around her.) "Of course, that's all behind us. Why should I hold a grudge against you for something in a past life? After all, you're a different person now." (Speaks into Luz's ear from behind.) "You've come to me ... with a new face." Koh said
Luz closes her eyes and takes a deep breath to the words into her ear, crossing the scene to the real world, Lilith seeing her breath.
"Guess we'll be here awhile." Lilith said
Cut to the exterior of the cave. Cut to Appa in the blizzard.
"Don't worry, Commander Lilith can't be getting too far in this weather." Loe said
"I'm not worried they'll get away in the blizzard. I'm worried that they won't." Amity said
"They're not going to die in this blizzard. If we know anything, it's that Willow never gives up. They'll survive, and we'll find them." Willow said
The screen flashes white back to the Spirit World to Luz's talk with the face stealer, Koh circling loosely around Luz.
(Continues to circle around Luz.) "It's been a long time since I've added a child's face to my collection." (His face is now that of an owl.) "So ... how may I help you?" Koh asked
"I need to find the moon and the ocean." Luz said
"Their spirit names are Tui and La, push and pull. And that has been the nature of their relationship for all time." Koh said
(Side-view of Luz.) "Please. Help me find them. An entire culture could be destroyed if I don't get their help." Luz said (Top-down view of Koh who changes his face to that of an old man. Luz is visible below him.)
"Oh, you think you need their help." (Koh looks to the side.) "Actually it's quite the other way round." (In an instant, Koh turns and bolts to Luz, stopping just short of the young Avatar, with an angry blue ogre-like face with red eyes and upright fangs.) "Someone's going to kill them!" Koh said (Luz closes her eyes briefly before opening them to look at Koh.)
"What do you mean? How can I find them and protect them?" Luz asked
(Flipping back to his white face.) "You've already met them, actually." (View of Koh from behind Luz as Koh moves to look away, turning his back on Luz.) "Tui and La, your moon and ocean, have always circled each other in an eternal dance. They balance each other, push and pull, life and death," (Close-up of Luz's face.) "good and evil, yin and yang." Koh said
Luz's eyes open wide as she experiences a flashback of the white and black fish circling each other in the pond and the vision she had of them as they turned into the yin and yang symbol just before she entered the Spirit World. Back to Luz.
(Excitedly.) "The koi fish!" (Hearing the emotion in Luz's voice, Koh quickly reels around to stare at the now expressionless face of Luz.) I must be going now." Luz said
(Flipping to the face of a bald, young man.) "We'll meet again." Koh said
Koh recedes into the shadows as Luz walks out of his cave. Cut to Luz running in front of the tree that is Koh's lair. She stops and talks to the ground.
"The spirits are in trouble, I need to get back to the physical world." Luz said
(Cut to Moku's image on the ground.) "A friend is here, to guide you back." Moku said
(Luz turns around, excitedly.) "Hei Bai!" Luz said
The spirit groans as Luz jumps onto him and sets off. Cut back to the physical world. Two fireballs hit the city of Agna Qel'a. Cut to two Water Tribe members fleeing as a tank destroys a totem pole behind them. Cut to two Water Tribe members trying to stop a tank. Cut to a view of the ocean with many fire navy ships and the moon looming behind. Cut to a bridge as two fire navy soldiers move in front of the camera as a waterbender drops down to move the bridge back from where the fire navy soldiers came from, taking the soldiers with it. Cut to a waterbender facing a tank, submerging the tank in the snow and ice around it. Cut to waterbenders attacking fire navy soldiers with shards of ice, who use shields to protect themselves. Cut to a shot behind Pakku who freezes and takes down eight oncoming soldiers. Pakku dodges a fire blast, having become surrounded with tanks and
soldiers. Unleashing a wave of water he slices tanks wheels off and freezes soldiers behind him in ice. Pakku lifts himself into the air with water while being fired upon by firebenders. Avoiding the blasts, he knocks the firebenders away using his water cyclone as a wave. Cut to waterbenders sending a tank flying toward Bhao.
"We'll be following this map to a very special location. And when we get there, we're going fishing." Bhao said (He smirks.)
Cut back to the Spirit World. Luz arrives at her starting location and jumps off Hei Bai.
"This is where I came in, but how do I get back?" Luz asked
Hei Bai stands on his hind legs and sends a beam of energy at Luz, who disappears into the physical world.
(Cut to baboon spirit sitting on a rock. Opening his eyes.) "Good riddance." The Baboon Spirit said
Hei Bai, having assumed his monstrous form, shoots an intense beam from his mouth at the baboon spirit sending it flying, before reverting to his original form. Back in the physical world, cut to a view of the arch way and water.
"King!" (Walking toward King. Closer view of Luz with King.) "King. Oh no, where's my body?" Luz asked
Luz is surrounded by energy and flies into the air. Cut to a wide-view of all of Agna Qel'a as Luz continues to fly toward the cave. Cut to close shot of Amity. Noticing Luz she turns around. Cut to shot of Appa flying in the sky as Luz shoots past overhead to the cave.
"Look, that's gotta be Aang! Yip-yip!" Amity said
Cut to Luz entering the cave, filling it with light. Cut to Luz waking up, attempting to get out of her restraints and noticing Lilith.
"Welcome back." Lilith said
(Cut to close-up of Luz as she narrows her eyes.) "It's good to be back." Luz said
Luz airbends Lilith into a wall and propels herself backward out of the cave. Cut to cave exterior. Close-up of Luz wriggling like a worm in an attempt to get away, only to be caught by Lilith.
(Lilith pulls Luz up by her collar as seen from behind Luz.) "That won't be enough to escape." Lilith said
(Looks up seeing Appa.) "Appa!" Luz said
Appa lands. Amity slides off. Close-up of Lilith.
(Throwing the tied-up Luz aside who yelps.) "Here for a rematch?" Lilith asked
(Confidently while countering her fire blasts.) "Trust me Lilith, it's not going to be much of a match." Amity said
Amity uses firebending to block Lilith's attack until Gus and Eda waterbended Lilith into the air before plummeting her down to the ground, knocking her out. Close-up shot of Willow running toward Luz to untie her with Lilith lying unconscious.
"Hey, this is some quality rope!" Willow said
"We need to get to the oasis, the spirits are in trouble!" Luz said
Switch to a wide-view of the area with Luz airbending herself atop Appa. Close-up shot of Luz landing on Appa.
"Wait, we can't just leave her here." Gus said
"Sure we can. Let's go." Willow said
"No, Gus is right, if we leave her, she'll die." Luz said
Luz airbends herself off Appa and retrieves Lilith, bringing her to Appa.
(Sarcastically.) "Yeah, this makes a lot of sense. Let's bring the woman who's constantly trying to kill us." Willow said
Appa takes off. Cut to Tui and La in the oasis lake. Bhao grabs Tui from the water, placing it in a sack. The moon goes red, followed by everything else. Cut to close-up of the now red moon. Cut to a view of all of Agna Qel'a turning red. Cut to Pakku who loses his waterbending and falls to the ground. Cut to a waterbender attempting to waterbend but loses his bending. Cut to three more waterbenders, bending water, but they too lose their bending. Cut to Fire Navy soldiers firebending. Cut to Appa flying with the red moon behind him. Appa groans as it cuts to the saddle.
(Loe grabs his head as if in pain.) "Are you okay?" Willow asked
"I feel faint." Loe said
(Cut to Luz. Holding her head with one hand.) "I feel it, too. The Moon Spirit is in trouble." Luz said
(Cut back to the saddle.) "I owe the Moon Spirit my life." Loe said
"What do you mean?" Willow asked
(Close-up of Loe.) "When I was born I was very sick and very weak." (Flashback to Loe as a baby.) "Most babies cry when they're born, but I was born as if I was asleep, my eyes closed." (Cut to waterbenders attempting to heal Loe as a baby.) "Our healers did everything they could." (Panning shot of Loe and the waterbenders, along with Loe's parents.) "They told my mother and father I was going to die." (Cut to the Chief staring at the moon.) "My father pleaded with the spirits to save me." (Cut to shot panning down from the moon to the oasis.) "That night, beneath the full moon, he brought me to the oasis and placed me in the pond." (Cut to Loe being placed into the pond.) "My dark hair turned white." (Close-up of Loe in the oasis.) "I opened my eyes and began to cry, and they knew I would live." (Cut to Loe in his parents arms with the archway and moon behind them.) "That's why my mother named me Loe." (Cut back to Appa's saddle.) "For the moon." Loe said
(Cut to Bhao at the oasis.) "I am ... a legend, now!" (Cut to a panning shot from Bhao's hand, grasping the bag with Tui in it, down to his head.) "The Fire Nation will, for generations, tell stories about the great Bhao, who darkened the moon. They will call me, Bhao the Conqueror, Bhao the Moon Slayer, Bhao the Invincible!" (King jumps on top of Bhao's head.) "Ugh ... Get it off! Get it off!"
Cut to wide-view of the oasis as King flies away toward the camera. Panning view of King landing on Luz's arm and running to her shoulder, with Amity, Gus, Willow and Eda behind her. Cut to Bhao and his soldiers, readying themselves for battle. Cut to Luz, Amity, Gus, Willow and Eda readying themselves. Panning shot of the oasis.
"Don't bother." Bhao said (Close-up of Bhao as he lifts the sack up threatening to kill Tui.)
(Cut to Luz and the others surrendering.) "Bhao, don't!" Luz said
(Cut to a panning side-view.) "It's my destiny, to destroy the moon and the Water Tribe." Bhao said
(Close-up side-view of Luz.) "Destroying the moon won't hurt just the Water Tribe." (Close-up panning shot of the sack with Tui inside and Bhao.) "It will hurt everyone, including you." (Cut to a panning shot of the oasis.) "Without the moon, everything would fall out of balance. You have no idea what kind of chaos that would unleash on the world." Luz said (Cut to Bhao.)
(Off-screen.) "She is right, Bhao." Kaldo said
(Cut to a wide shot of the oasis, calmly to Kaldo.) "General Kaldo, why am I not surprised to discover your treachery?" Bhao asked
(Close-up of Kaldo while he takes off his helmet.) "I'm no traitor, Bhao, the Fire Nation needs the moon, too, we all depend on the balance. Whatever you do to that spirit I'll unleash on you ten-fold. Let it go, now!" Kaldo said
Bhao releases the koi fish into the oasis. Cut to close-up of Bhao as he hesitates before striking the koi fish with a fire slice out of anger. Cut to a wide-view of the oasis. Cut to Kaldo recoiling from the flames. Cut to Luz looking on and up at the moon. Cut to a view from the oasis to the sky as the moon fades out and the world goes gray. Cut to Bhao looking up until Kaldo begins firebending at him. Bhao dodges and counters his firebending while retreating toward his firebending soldiers. They
are swiftly defeated as Bhao escapes. Cut to show La circling the now dead Tui. Cut to Luz and the others looking on in disbelief and moving toward the water. Loe is seen looking on, his forward movement reveals that Lilith has escaped from behind him. Kaldo picks up the dead koi fish.
(Close-up of Loe and Willow.) "There's no hope now, it's over." Loe said
(Close-up of Luz entering the Avatar State.) "No, it's not over." Luz said echoing
Cut to a wide shot of the oasis as Luz enters the water. Cut back to the others looking on. Luz stands in a meditative stance as La circles her. Close-up shot of Luz and La as the latter's eyes light up. Side-view of Luz as she descends into the water. Wide shot of the whole oasis as blue lightning-like energy expands from the oasis island into the water. Wide shot of Agna Qel'a as the oasis begins to light up in the same blue color. Cut back to Amity and the others watching. The energy moves to the edge of the oasis, rising up to form a giant amphibious-like creature, facing out toward the sea, with Luz in the center, controlling it. Cut to the Fire Nation soldiers in the city looking on at this creature's sudden appearance. Cut briefly to Pakku and other Northern Water Tribe members before changing to a view of Luz moving past a river, Fire Nation soldiers on one side, Pakku and his group on the other. The Water Tribe all bow down as the Fire Nation soldiers prepare to attack. Luz, controlling the massive creature, begins to head to the ocean, laying waste to any Fire Nation soldiers on the way.
Cut back to Bhao who continues to flee only to be attacked by Lilith.
"You're alive?" Bhao asked
(Angrily.) "You tried to have me killed!" Lilith yelled (Lilith attacks Bhao.)
(Close-up of Bhao's face.) "Yes I did." (Lilith approaches Bhao as we see the giant energy form make its way toward the ocean.) "You're the Blue Spirit, an enemy of the Fire Nation! You freed the Avatar." Bhao said
"I had no choice." Lilith said (Lilith continues her attacks, but they are blocked by Bhao.)
"You should have chosen to accept your failure; you're a disgrace. Then, at least, you could have lived!" Bhao said (Lilith and Bhao begin to fight.)
Back at the oasis, Kaldo places the dead koi fish in the water.
"It's too late, it's dead." Amity said (tears up feeling Eda place a hand on her shoulder)
(Kaldo notices Loe.) "You have been touched by the Moon Spirit." (Close-up of Loe.) "Some of its life is in you." Kaldo said
"Yes, you're right. It gave me life, maybe I can give it back." Loe said
"No! You don't have to do that." Willow said (Willow reached to stop him.)
"It's my duty, Willow." Loe said
"I won't let you!" (Close-up of her holding him hand.) "Your father told me to protect you." Willow said
(Close-up of Loe.) "I have to do this." Loe said
Loe's hand slips out of Willow's as he places his hands on the koi fish. The koi begins to glow and Loe closes his eyes.
(Loe falls as Willow catches him.) "No! He's gone, he's gone." Willow said
Cut to Luz as she approaches the sea and sends the fire navy ships back out into the ocean. Luz continues to destroy ships and drive the rest back out. Cut back to Willow holding Loe. Loe fades and disappears as the koi begins to light up and glow. Kaldo places the koi back into the oasis water. The entire lake begins to light up until energy floats up into the air forming an image of Loe. Side-view of the oasis.
"Goodbye, Willow." (Close-up of Willow and Loe as he comes to kiss her.) "I'll always be with you." Loe said
They kiss and Loe disappears as Willow looks up to the moon as it reappears in the sky, bringing the color back. Cut to Luz, still fused with the Ocean Spirit, in front of Agna Qel'a. Luz looks up and notices the moon has returned. The Ocean Spirit fades into the water and moves back to the city, dropping Luz off on a wall as she leaves the Avatar State.
Cut to Lilith and Bhao fighting on a bridge. Lilith gains the upper hand and Bhao notices the moon has returned.
(Shot of the moon over Bhao's shoulder.) "It can't be!" Bhao said
Bhao is consumed by the energy in the shape of a hand and dragged toward the water.
"Take my hand!" Lilith said
Bhao considers it for a moment before retracting his hand. The energy plummets into the water, Bhao dragged along with it, and dissipates. Cut to Pakku and others on a ledge overlooking the city. Cut to a close-up shot of Pakku, Gus stands behind him.
(note by Darth Nominatis: Bhao may be a villain, but I still feel bad for what happened to him)
"I've decided to go to the South Pole. Some other benders and healers want to join me. It's time we helped rebuild our sister tribe." Pakku said
"What about Luz? She still needs to learn waterbending." Gus said
"Well, then she better get used to calling you Master Gus." Pakku said
"Well done, Gus" Eda said (puts her hand on Gus' head and rubs it)
Cut to the Chief and Willow standing on the ledge looking at the moon.
"The spirits gave me a vision when Loe was born. I saw a handsome, brave, young man become the Moon Spirit." (Sighs.) "I knew this day would come." the Chief said
"You must be proud." Willow said
"So proud ... and sad." the Chief said
Cut to Lilith and Kaldo on a raft floating away from Agna Qel'a.
"I'm surprised Commander Lilith, surprised that you are not at this moment trying to capture the Avatar." Kaldo said
"I'm tired." Lilith said
"Then you should rest. Everyone needs their rest." Kaldo said
Cut to Luz looking out on the ledge in Agna Qel'a. Amity stands behind her. She realizes she's there and turns around. They embrace. King chitters.
"You too, King." Amity said
"Come here." Luz said
King leaps onto Luz's shoulders as we see Willow place her hand on Luz's shoulder with Gus and Eda standing next to them. All six of them look out to the ocean and the moon as Appa rises up in front of them.
Cut to Fire Lord Belos' chambers. Cut to a panning shot of Kikimora.
"Kaldo is a traitor, and the commander, Lilith, is a failure. I have a task for you." Belos said
Close-up of Kikimora, looking up and smiling.
Fades to credits.
