No Survivors

Anomaly still held the lifeless body of Kira in her hand. In the distance, a loud explosion occurred coming from the Special Forces building. Everyone around the battle field looked into the direction of the explosion, wondering what had occurred.

"Dang it. Someones interfering with the plan," Anomaly muttered. She released the deceased girl from her grip and picked her Naginata up from the ground. She stares at the remaining soldiers left. "Earthrealm's greatest warriors have been killed. The Lords of this realm have abandoned you all. Will you thrown down your weapons and surrender to your new savior, Anomaly?" Kreeya announced. Anomaly smiles, feeling pride from the words of the woman.

"She will doom us all," a voice cried out. Kreeya and Anomaly looked into the distance as a lone frail girl approached. The young Shaman Aylin, known to those in Earthrealm under the moniker Knightwolf, arrived.

"Leave this one to me," Anomaly told her allies. She obliged and watched as the young shaman accepted the challenge without an ounce of fear. Aylin conjures a small knife and attempts to jab it into Anomaly's abdomen. The woman grabs her wrist and with a twist, she forces the woman to dispell it. Aylin move away from Anomaly, whaling in pain. She focuses on the injury. Suddenly, the souls from inside of her heals the wrist completely.

"At least I know it works," she said before conjuring another knife and swiping at the sorceress once more. Anomaly's decision to toy with Aylin cause visible anger to Queen Kreeya, who impatiently taps her right foot on the ground beneath her. Anomaly was continually injuring the girl, opting out of killing her even though it was very much possible at the moment.

"What is taking so long, Anomaly!" Kreeya shouted.

"She has the same immortality as I do," Anomaly tells her." Kreeya stomps around back and forward.

"Your strikes are not fatal," she says.

"You talk to yourself often?" Aylin said. Anomaly's eyes opened wide. Aylin smiles as she charges toward the woman. Anomaly swing her hang across Aylin's jaw. Tears flow from her eyes and she falls to her knees moaning as her destroyed mouth is repaired by the souls.

"You talk too much," Anomaly says before looking back at her allies. Metric was gone, but Kreeya still remained. Thankfully, the magic is still strong enough to keep her, she thought to herself.

"The Special Forces knows," Aylin continues. "Ever since the Black Dragon arrived."

"And how would they?" Anomaly questioned.

"Skarlet. Vorpax. Shang Tsung. Their are things even you are oblivious of, Anomaly." Aylin reaches her hand toward Anomaly. She forms her hand into a finger gun and fires it off. A spirit bullet pierces Anomaly's head, knocking it back. The hole slowly repairs as Anomaly leans her head back forward.

Anomaly slams the heel of her foot into Aylin's face, knocking the girl on her back. As Aylin leans up, Anomaly kicks the girl into a nearby structure. The two lock eyes and a golden glint in Anomaly's eyes spooks Aylin. A chill runs throughout her body. Anomaly walks up to the girl, smiling devilishly. She grabs the girl by the front of her shirt, lifting her to her feet. Aylin finds herself unconsciously swinging her left fist toward Anomaly. The sorceress stops it by grabbing her fist. Anomaly's finger slither between Aylin's and she yanks down on the girl's middle finger. A swift kick to Aylin's kneecap bends her leg in the wrong direction. Aylin falls and finds her nose met with Anomaly's knee. Anomaly punches the girl in the face, knocking the back of her head against the debris. She jabs her abdomen then places her foot on the girl's chest. She pressed hard on Aylin's chest, caving it in. She swings on the girl two times before placing her hands on Aylin's head. She starts to fry the souls inside the girl using the same technique Shang Tsung attempted on Tremor. Aylin's souls begin to disintegrate much faster than it should. However, she releases the weakened girl.

Anomaly walks away from the girl and nods toward her last remaining warrior, Kreeya. The Amazon mugs the sorceress. Aylin slowly raises her mangled body, slowly readjusting her limbs and healing her wounds. Running past her were many soldiers from the Special Forces as they take aim at Anomaly and Kreeya. As they fire their shots striking many of them, Aylin stares at the onslaught reminiscing on the visions shes had during her travels with her former self, Knightwolf. The future day when she would stand alone in a field of dead warriors, staring in the face of the one being. A place she believed would be Earthrealm, but she was no longer sure of that.

"Aylin!" one of the soldier called. She looked up to the man. "Get back to Headquarters, we got it from here."

"I'm not leaving you all behind," she said. "You'll never win."

"The MOKAP squad is here," they said. Aylin shook her head.

"They cant stop them. They're all gonna die!" Aylin responded. She pondered what she told the man. "They're all gonna die..." she whispered. Tears rolled down the girl's face as she slowly rose to her feet. She looked at the ongoing fight as Anomaly continuously created her illusions to assist in the fight with the special forces. Kreeya swats the men against like flies, seemingly bored by the attack.

"They'll come through, the men assured her." She turns from them and takes small steps away toward the SF Headquarters in the distance. She notices that the smoke at the Headquarters was much darker and stronger, though most wouldn't be paying attention with the chaos occurring around them. She turns her attention back to the fight. The four members of the MOKAP team surrounded the sorceress. Anomaly seemed frustrated by the act. The suits activate, forming the resemblance of Earthrealm's warriors. Master Daniel donning the attire and powers of the ancestor of Johnny Cage, an adjustment made by the descendant himself. Master Carlos took on the mantle of Raiden, the Lord of Thunder. Master Susan took on the mantle of Mera, Queen of girlsAtlantis. Anomaly was particularly amused by the change made by the woman as she was unaware that the Special Forces knew of the Mera's existence. Kreeya sees the woman and smiles in anticipation. She points of the woman in excitement.

"I shall take the Atlantean," she said.

"She is not a real Atlantean."

"She fools you as the young one did," Kreeya responded. "She is mine. As is the Lord of Thunder."

"We really shouldn't stretch our efforts thin," Susan said.

"And we wont," Carlos responded. Master Anthony finalizes his own transformation into the Earthrealm legend, Kung Lao. Anomaly curses under her breath. Kreeya prepares to give chase, but is stopped by Aylin who jumps in front of her.

"You're out of control," Aylin says. "You'll ruin everything if you join the fight."

"Protect Aylin at all cost!" one of the Special Forces soldiers called out. "Kreeya is not to interfere with MOCAP!"

"Sir!" the soldiers roared across the battlefield. Kreeya huffs.

"Those stones wont work against me, you fools!" Kreeya twirls the sword in her hand and dives to the nearest Special Forces soldier. She thrusts the blade through the man's heart, killing him instantly. She gets struck with a heavy blow to the side by a man wearing a power glove. She finds herself surprised by the effectiveness of the attack. She pulls the blade from the deceased soldier and slashes the other in half. She finds herself getting attacked from numerous directions, including attacks from Aylin herself.

Anomaly looks around at her opponents, awaiting their next move. However, she wasn't afraid. No matter what powers they had. No matter how familiar their appearances were to her. In the face of death they were still just four scared children. Daniel makes the first move, swiftly sliding in front of the Sorceress. An after image of his movements trailed behind him. Anomaly didn't fall for the distraction. She leaned back far enough to miss the oncoming uppercut from the man. An after image of the same attack stretched out a bit further, however, and she found that a huge portion of her souls were gone. She sucked her teeth before charging a ring of fire toward the boy. She was quickly stopped by Susan, whom used her trident to force the woman's arm down. Carlos follows up by electrocuting the woman while Susan keeps her from removing the trident. Anthony takes his hat off and tosses it toward the woman. Anomaly sends the energy of her souls into her right leg and locks it onto Susan. The MOKAP soldier drops to her knees in agony as the electricity travels through her body. The trident lowers, allowing Anomaly to lean down in time to dodge the hat before it could behead her. She then sends the souls into her right arm to lift the Trident up and slam it into Carlos chest. The weight of the weapon causes the man to fly back a few yards before being pinned to the ground. Anomaly wraps her hands around Susan's neck before performing a swift twist. Anomaly creates an illusion to grab the hat of Kung Lao from afar and tosses it to her own hand. Utilizing the chi within her, she swiftly throws it back at Anthony, slicing his abdomen open. Three members down in a matter of seconds.

Daniel stumbles over his feet. His hand lands atop of his dead ally, Anthony. Not paying close attention to the hat still inside the man's abdomen, he cut his hand. Anomaly looks over to Kreeya, who seemed to still be surviving. She reaches out to the woman, but shows surprise when nothing happens. Daniel notices her being distracted and pulls the hat from Anthony's abdomen. Before he could throw it, the hat spun cutting off the top of his hand before returning to Anomaly. She sticks her hand inside of the hat and pulls out a rabbit. She tosses it toward the man, who screamed in agony. The rabbit tastes the blood of the man dripping along the floor. The taste feeds into the animals urge, and the rabbit leaps atop of Daniel. The animal savagely tore into the man's neck, sending a surge of his blood out of his neck. By the speed of his fall and the amount of blood he was quickly loosing, it was highly likely that the rabbit bit an artery.

"Enough with these games," Anomaly muttered to herself.

Anomaly raises her hand in the sky. A shadow loomed over the woman and grew in size. Everyone seemed frightened as they looked upincluding Anomaly. A large tower fell atop of the woman. Its structure was not like those in Japan. It wasnt like anything seen on Earth. The shockwave of the crash shook the Earth beneath them and many fell on their bottoms. Though much of the top of the building fell apart, the bottom sector was planted into the solid concrete. A blast of fire unleashes through the double doors and Anomaly finds herself walking out as the souls within her reformed her disfigured body. Anomaly looks into the sky as more foreign structures start to appear.

To her surprise, however, not everything was falling. Some structures were even appearing from beneath the Earths surface. Panic occurred across the land. No one, knew what to do in their current situation. After some time, foreign creatures began finding themselves entering the realm as they exited the buildings. Tarkatans. Centurians. Edenians. Former Saurian slaves. And other Human races. Members of the Seidan Guard started to arrive as well, assessing the Chaos that'd been occurring.

"What is this madness," one of the Guardsmen said. They looked around at the destroyed and burning buildings. The bodies littered throughout the realm.

"This is not good!" one of them yelled.

"Contain yourself this instant!" Another told him. "Do not fall into chaos."

"This is Earthrealm," one of the Tarkatans proclaimed. One of the Saurians stares at Queen Kreeya. He seemed shocked by her presence, but not so much the state of the Realm. Kreeya stares back at the Saurian, her rage seemingly relaxing.

"A real challenger has arrived," she proclaims.

"Where did you all come from?" Anomaly questioned.

"You say everything was your plan. Yet, you never knew about Shang Tsungs agreement with Earthrealm did you?" Aylin mocked.

"Shang Tsung mentioned no such thing."

"The mission was to eliminate Quan Chis new Brotherhood Army. That included Kira, Kobra, and the MOKAP team—all remnants of that Army. In exchange, Earthrealm would forfeit their victory and merge with Outworld as Shao Kahn desired." Anomaly grits her teeth as she sees the continually emerging presence of the Outworld denizens. Numerous Seidan Guardsmen begin surrounding Anomaly.

"Aisa, you have a warrant out for your death issued directly by Eunomia herself." One of the guardsmen declared. "Lay down your weapon and die with dignity scum!"

"Aisa?" Kreeya said to herself as she stared at Anomaly. "Who is Aisa?"
