(Here it is folks! Part 2 of Act 1's finale! Imma be real with you guys, things are gonna get epic during this showdown and the story will take a different turn in a different direction! Hold onto your butts!)

"EMERGENCY ALERT! MR. MILLS HAS BEEN FOUND!"
"Zoe, we've known each other for years now."
*Dr. Z roars at the pawn shop owner*
"And every year I grow more fond of you."
"My name is Commander Blaise! You will follow my orders without question!"
"Not only have we found him but we have his location as well!"
"Seth."
"Let me introduce you to our new dinosaur we have in our ranks!"
*the Albertosaurus roars high in the air*
"I think it's time we release those three from their cells."
"Shear! Foolscap! And Gabbro!"
"Chasmosaurus! Scolosaurus! Giganotosaurus!"
*the six dinosaurs appear and roar at the two teams*
"Can things get any worse?!"
*the building is suddenly raided by Black Eagle*
"Attention hostiles! You are officially being raided!"
"Now what?"
"I don't know."
The D-Team and the Alpha Gang were backed into one another, looking at all their surroundings and noting that every enemy they made were surrounding them. The newly revealed Space Pirates floated in the air as their six dinosaurs idled below them while Black Eagle blocked both the entrance they created and the giant hole in the ceiling. However, both enemy factions glared at one another, proving that they were not in alliance with each other and that they were just as much enemies as the D-Team. Short story: everyone was an enemy.
"Recall your dinosaurs or you will be shot!" Blaise shouts below at the two teams.
"Max, we better do what she says." Rex whispers to his best friend as he recalls Ace.
"Grrrr." Max growls in anger as he begrudgingly recalls back the Triceratops.
"Just who are you guys?" Foolscap asks the woman from above.
"We are Black Eagle and regardless if you are a mutant, alien, or demon, we will take you all out if we have to! Our orders are to apprehend the Grand Master and any dinosaur cards he has in his possession." Blaise answers the lanky man, not at all fazed by his appearance.
Wrench on the other hand gawked at the three pirates. "Are we just gonna gloss over the fact they have wings?" Wrench whispers to the woman, whom ignored him.
"Like we're gonna listen to you, lady. We don't take orders from you." Shear disobeys the soldier.
A gunshot suddenly rang out as a bullet whizzed passed Shear, scaring the poor woman as she flew away to avoid getting fired out. The bullet came from, no surprise, Blaise and her Desert Eagle that had smoke coming out from the barrel, to which she blew out before holstering her weapon. "Next time, I won't miss." she warns the trio.
"Shear, I don't think that lady likes you." Gabbro tells his ally.
Shear rolled her eyes in response to his stupidity. "Gee. What gave it away?" Foolscap sarcastically replies.
Seth suddenly turned to his Australian ally. "Jericho." he whispers to him, earning his attention. "You know those four cards I informed you about earlier?" Jericho silently nodded his head in response. "Scatter them. We cannot allow them to fall into the enemy's hands. We don't have time to hide them or take them with us. Our best option is to scatter them across the world and retrieve them later. Use the device downstairs to do so."
"Understood." Jericho mumbles as he sneaks his way out of the area.
"Guys." Zoe whispers to her own allies. "I don't think this is about us anymore. By the looks of this, I say things are going to get real chaotic soon and I think we should get the hell out as fast as possible."
"But where? We're surrounded in case you forgot." Ursula whispered back.
"We can escape through the hole in the floor the Space Pirates made." Rex whispers.
The other five glanced at said hole in response. "Yeah, but if we move a muscle, they're just gonna shoot us." Zander replies.
"Not if we have Tank use Earth Barrier. Ed, summon Tank and use the move card." Rex quietly orders the fat man.
Ed, however, hesitated as he nervously glanced at the blonde haired teen. "Ar- Are you sure?" he stammers sheepishly.
"What other choice do we have?"
Ed gulped in fear before he grabbed his Alpha Scanner and Tank's card. "Alright… Here goes."
"Seriously, are you gonna ignore his abnormal skin color? He's red! That's not normal!" Wrench exclaims at his ally in shock.
"Shut up, Sebastian." Blaise rudely replies.
"Now that's just rude." A purple glow suddenly lit up the entire area as it momentarily blinded the surrounding people as Tank spawned from existence, roaring high into the air announcing her presence. "Weapons free!" Blaise orders her troops.
In less than a second, all the Black Eagle soldiers began firing their weapons at the two groups but thanks to Tank's bulletproof armor, she managed to defend and save her human friends from harm's way. "Now, Ed! Now! DO IT NOOOOOOOOW!" Rex frantically yells at the short man.
"Earth Barrier!" Ed announces as he activates the move card.
Tank glowed purple as rocks floated all around her before they crystallized into a purple crystal shield, successfully deflecting the bullets as they ricocheted off the move. Because of this, the bullets flew all over the place, some even striking the soldiers that fired them while some struck the ground or wall. "Open fire! Open fire!" Jericho orders his men as the armed criminals begin firing back.
In less than a second, all hell broke loose as every armed person began firing their weapons at their enemy, with the Space Pirates quickly flying into cover to avoid getting hit. "Albertosaurus, take out those soldiers!" Seth orders his dinosaur.
The Albertosaurus roared as it charged towards the soldiers, snatching one up and crushing his abdomen with its teeth before tossing him aside. Despite being well trained soldiers, they all started to panic due to the dinosaur attacking them, either quickly running into cover or retreating the area all together as their screams joined in with the chaos.
"Into the hole! Hurry!" Rex tells his friends as they were protected by the Earth Barrier.
"No need to tell me twice." Zander says as he jumps down.
One by one, the two teams jumped down into the hole as Tank continued to shield them with her Earth Barrier, bullets ricocheting off of her shield as she defended the hole. "This is a colossal goat fuck!" Nick panickily shouts as he hides behind a box with a pistol in his hand.
Only Ungaro took cover and didn't participate in the shootout due to not having a weapon and being absolutely scared out of his mind. "We're dead! We're dead! We're deeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaad!" Ungaro cries out in fear.
"Somebody call the Grand Master! We got a major situation up here!" Nick shouts as the shootout continues.

Dinosaur King: Prehistoric Peril
Jericho entered a dark room somewhere in the hideout, turning on the light and illuminating the room revealing the four unknown Shadow dinosaur cards lying on the table. The Australian quickly grabbed them and placed them in a futuristic device before closing the hatch, pressing a red button afterwards as rainbow colors emitted from the machine. At that moment, the machine momentarily shined as the four cards suddenly transformed into light before flying through the ceiling and into the sky above, going in four different directions. Jericho had successfully scattered the four cards into unknown parts of the world.
"Bleedin' nutty drongo." Jericho mumbles as he pulls out his twin double barrel shotguns to join the shootout outside.
Zander was the first to land on the floor after jumping down the hole, doing a sick roll to break his fall followed by Ursula whom landed gracefully on her feet. Rex landed next while he caught Zoe in her hands as Ed landed next afterwards, his bionic leg managing to leave a crack in the floor.
"Nice job, Tank! Good girl." Ed congratulates the Saichania as he returns her to her card.
A purple beam flew through the hole as Tank's card reappeared in Ed's hands before he summoned her in her chibi form. Max suddenly fell from the hole and landed on his butt, earning a pained grunt from the teen as he fell right on his tailbone. "That's smarts." he grunts in pain before falling over.
Rex immediately began taking in his surroundings as soon as he jumped through the hole, noting the very white and very cleaned large laboratory with various equipment on the counters. "What is this place?" Ed wonders aloud as Ursula and Zander both summon Terry and Spiny in their chibi forms to give Tank company.
"Looks like Dr. Z's lab… except it's not on fire." Zoe replies as she taps a glass tube.
Paris suddenly jumped on the counter, almost knocking off some equipment if it wasn't for Ursula catching them before they could fall. Chomp and Ace meanwhile started sniffing around while the Alpha dinosaurs started to roughhouse with each other. "It's probably the Grand Master's lab. Hidden from view." Rex theorizes.
"Wonder what he's been cooking up in here." Max replies.
Zander looked through a beaker with red liquid in it, wondering what exactly was inside, until he noticed a very familiar card lying behind it. A dinosaur card with a Shadow symbol on it: a yin-yang like circle with black and gray as the colors. "Guys." Zander panickily whispers, gaining his allies' attention. "Look what I found." he shudders as he points to the card.
The rest gathered around the table and saw what he was looking at, suddenly growing startled expressions as flashbacks of the Atrociraptor came flying in their heads again. "So the Grand Master is the one behind the Atrociraptor… And he made more." Zoe mutters in horror.
"He created an entirely different element… Wonder what dinosaur he used this time." Ursula whispers.
Rex suddenly grabbed the card and flipped it over, revealing a blank picture on it. "Nothing." he says. "He must've not had time to make a new Shadow Dinosaur. How was he able to get the Atrociraptor in the first place? My parents time traveled to the dinosaur age to get their dinosaurs. How did the Grand Master get his?"
"Maybe… Maybe the same way?" Ed theorizes as Spiny rolled on Tank while chasing Paris behind him.
"I doubt the Grand Master has his own time machine." Zoe says as the group continues to huddle around the counter.
However, because of this, they failed to hear the person sneaking up behind them with a Glock 17 in their hands. It wasn't until they cocked the hammer that finally got their attention, all freezing up upon hearing the dreaded sound. "Do not move a muscle." a male voice says behind them. "Put your hands in the air… and turn around… slowly."
The group had no other choice but to obliged as they raised their hands in the air and slowly turned around, meeting the person holding them hostage. However, as soon as Rex saw who the person was, he froze, not in fear but in shock. The person standing behind them was revealed to be a middle aged man with unkempt hair slicked back with a 5 o'clock shadow along with black glasses and as soon as the two made eye contact, the man lowered his gun as he too grew a shocked look.
"Mr. Mills?" Rex gasps in shock.
"Rex?" the man now known as Mr. Mills gasps as well.
"Mr. Mills!" Zander exclaims in happiness. "You look… older. Why do you look older?"
"Yeah, weren't you 25 when we last saw you?" Ed wonders aloud.
"I've uh… I've been trapped in the past for twenty years." Mr. Mills explains, albeit hesitantly, like he was caught off guard.
Paris suddenly began sniffing his ankles before looking up at the man whom looked down at the chibi Parasaurolophus; Paris suddenly began 'barking' at the man, not in an aggressive way, but in a more relaxed way although she was 'barking' a little too much.
"Looks like Paris recognizes you." Max says with a laugh.
"That's impossible. These dinosaurs were never in these forms when I worked for the Ancients." Mr. Mills replies as he slightly shoves Paris away.
"Really? Huh. Weird." Max replies as he scratches his head.
Zoe however squinted at the man, having a deep feeling like she had seen him somewhere before but couldn't figure out where.
"What're you- What're you guys doing here anyway?" Mr. Mills asks the group as he places his gun back in his holster.
"We came to look for you!" Ed happily exclaims.
Before Mr. Mills could respond, he noticed the Alpha dinosaurs roughhousing a little too close to a sliding wheeled table with fragile equipment on top of it. "Hey! Get away from that! That's my equipment! Get your own!" he frantically yells at the chibis, almost having a heart attack.
Zoe squinted her eyes some more in his direction in response; the man grabbed Tank and placed her far away from the sliding table. "Sorry, it's just that stuff is really fragile. Hard to replace." he explains.
"The Grand Master would yell at you?" Ed asks in a sympathized tone.
Mr. Mills was momentarily taken by surprise by the question before quickly regaining his composure. "Y- Yeah. Yeah, he would. He- He doesn't like setbacks. Trust me. I know from first hand experience." Mr. Mills explains as he fidgets with his ring finger.
"I can't believe the Grand Master is using you for his own scheme." Rex sympathetically says to the man.
"Yeah, it's- it's terrible. Uh, I'm sorry. I'm just taken by surprise by you guys. I thought I'd never see you ever again." Mr. Mills gratefully tells the teen before turning to Max and Zoe. "Who're they?"
"Mr. Mills," Rex begins. "meet my very best friends and the other members of the D-Team. The founding members I might add. Mr. Mills, this is Max Taylor."
"Sup." Max says trying to act suave and cool.
"And this is Zoe Drake."
Mr. Mills smiled at the teen girl. "Nice to meet you." he says to the both of them.
Zoe however had a skeptical look on her face. "Where have I seen you before?" she asks him all of a sudden.
Once more, Mr. Mills was taken by surprise by the sudden question. "Uh," he stammers. "I don't know what you're talking about. This is the first time I ever saw you."
Zoe continued to give the man a skeptical look but it was interrupted when a muffled explosion shook the room as the lights flickered above head as dirt and pebbles fell from the ceiling. "What's going on up there? That's the second time it's done that." Mr. Mills asks as he looks up at the ceiling.
"This place is being raided by a team called Black Eagle." Zander explains.
For once, Mr. Mills wasn't taken by surprise by this, instead growing a disdainful look on his face. "The Fist." he mutters.
"You know him?" Rex asks him in genuine surprise.
"I know of him." he responds. "Everyone around here knows about the Fist ever since Jericho went to his base a couple weeks back. All I know is that he's an army general who weaponized the Centrosaurus and created a new dinosaur. A hybrid Jericho said."
"The Centrosaurus. That's right." Max says, realizing that the Australian took the card before they could grab it.
"Do you have the Centrosaurus card?" Rex asks the man.
Mr. Mills opened a drawer next to him and pulled out the Centrosaurus card, just lying there carelessly. "Dr. Ancient's been asking for it?" he asks the teen.
"It's slipped out of our grasp twice now. I don't want to lose it a third time." Rex explains.
Mr. Mills suddenly lent the card to the teen. "Then here. Take it. Away from this place and out of the Grand Master's hands." Mr. Mills says.
Rex smiled as he went to retrieve it, only for Max to swipe it out of the man's hand before him, an excited grin growing on his face. "Aaw yeah! We finally got the Centrosaurus card!" Max exclaims enthusiastically.
The moment was once again interrupted by a muffled explosion that shook the ceiling. "You guys better get out of here." Mr. Mills tells the teams.
"No way!" Rex exclaims, startling everyone by his sudden outburst. "We came here to rescue you! We're not leaving you!"
"I'm not staying here! This is the last place I wanna be!" Mr. Mills frantically explains. "I'm just saying you guys better get up there and clear a way while I delete some of the Grand Master's files as one last 'screw you' to him before I bail out of here. I'm sure Dr. Ancient would love to have some of the Grand Master's plans, wouldn't he?"
"Oh. That's a good point." Rex admits.
Mr. Mills suddenly pointed to the far end of the room. "There's a secret exit on the other side that'll take you away from all this chaos. I'll meet you guys up top once I'm finished with the download." he tells them.
"How long will it take?" Max asks the man.
"Ten, fifteen minutes." Mr. Mills theorizes as he places a flash drive into the main computer.
"Hold on." Ursula says, stopping the man in his tracks prompting him to face her. "Show us your hands."
Mr. Mills raised a brow in confusion. "What?" he asks her.
"Just do it." Ursula impatiently orders him.
Not wanting to make the woman any angrier, Mr. Mills raised his hands in front of him; Ursula took one look at them and immediately dismissed him. "Alright, go back to your computer." she tells him.
Mr. Mills raised a skeptical brow at the woman before going back to downloading the Grand Master's files. "Ursula," Zander whispers to her as the trio huddled together. "what was all that about?"
"You saw the Grand Master in the photo you dimwits. He's missing his ring finger." she whispers back.
"But Mr. Mills has all of fingers, Ursula." Ed tells her, not getting her point right away.
"I know, that's why I excluded him already, moron!" Ursula angrily whispers at the fat man, slapping his head in response.
"Ow." Ed mumbles as he rubs his head in pain.
"You guys better get up there fast. Things don't sound good." Mr. Mills says as he goes back to the computer.
The two teams said nothing, instead heading to the secret exit that Mr. Mills pointed at, one more step to freedom and escape. "We should call Reese to pick us up. No way Mr. Mills will teleport with us since he doesn't have the stones." Zoe says to the group.
"I'll call blondie." Ursula states as she quickly grabs her Alpha Scanner.
"Huh?" Zoe questions the nickname meanwhile.
Ursula quickly called the Backland and soon Reese popped up on the screen. "Ursula. How's everything?" she asks the greenette.
"We got good news and bad news." the greenette replies.
"Oh dear. Tell me the good news." Reese monotonously begs.
"The Space Pirates are back and so is Seth! And worst of all, they have the six cards that were stolen from the Backland! And things got worse! Black Eagle is here and it's a total war up there!" Ed quickly panics before sobbing loudly.
"I said good news not bad news, Ed." Reese annoyingly replies.
Ed immediately stopped crying out of embarrassment. "Oh." he says.
This time, Zander took over. "The good news is we found Mr. Mills," he tells her. "but he doesn't have a scanner or a stone to teleport with so you're gonna have to pick us up… Preferably not in one of Dr. Z's inventions."
"I heard that!" Dr. Z was heard in the background before popping up on screen. "Don't worry! Me and… erm, who are you?"
"I'm-"
"Yeah, whatever." Dr. Z quickly interrupts Reese with a dismissive hand. "We'll be there to pick you up! We'll use the Alpha Jet, new and approved!"
"What's so new and approve about it?" Zoe blandly asks with lidded eyes, obviously not believing the doctor.
"It has a navigation device and cup holders."
"That IS new and approved! Way to go, doc!" Max congratulates the doctor for the first time in his life.
Reese took over the screen at that point. "Just stay right there and we'll pick you up. Given the Alpha Jet's speed, we should be there in half an hour… give or take."
And with that, the call ended, leaving only a static screen on the scanner. "Half hour doesn't seem fast enough." Ursula mumbles as she stuffs her scanner in her breasts.
Rex looked up at the ceiling as another muffled explosion went off above them. "Let's hope things aren't that bad up there." he hopes as he stares at the ceiling.
"THINGS ARE VERY BAD UP HERE, MAN!" Nick yells into his walkie talkie.
Currently he was hiding behind a box as gunfire was exchanged between the two factions with bullets flying over the box he was hiding behind. Lying next to him was a dead body of one of the Grand Master's thugs with a blood pool around his head and a visible bullet hole in his forehead with an AK-47 lying next to him.
"LIKE SUPER BAD! WE'RE TALKIN' WORLD WAR THREE BAD OUT HERE! DEFCON 1 UP IN THIS BITCH! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Nick continues to panic as he screams into his walkie talkie.
"Don't get your knickers in a twist, wanker. I'm on my way." Jericho's voice was heard over the radio.
"What the fuck did you just call me?" Nick questions, mistaking 'knickers' for the other similar sounding word.
The sound of a gun cocking beside him was heard, prompting the man to turn to the side where a Black Eagle soldier was aiming his M4 Carbine right at his head. "Freeze! Drop your weapon!" he orders Nick.
The next thing Nick knew, his face was suddenly covered in blood as a loud gunshot flashed in front of his eyes. He wiped the blood away from his eyes as the body of the Black Eagle soldier fell lifelessly to the ground, behind him was Jericho, wielding one of his Double Barrel shotgun over his shoulder.
"Missed me, wanker?" Jericho rhetorically asks the young man.
Nick however wiped off more blood from his face before glaring at the man. "Next time, warn me when you're gonna do something like that." he scolds the Australian.
Jericho scoffed and rolled his eyes in annoyance in response. "You're lucky I even saved you in the first place." he mutters under his breath.
Several Black Eagle soldiers fired from behind cover until one of them was eaten by Gabbro's Giganotosaurus while the other dinosaurs rampaged in the background. High above, near the ceiling of the warehouse were the three Space Pirates currently hiding from the gunfire in the shadows, secretly watching the chaos unfold below them.
"It's like watching little ants fight." Gabbro comments aloud.
Foolscap shrugged in response. "Yes, except these ants have guns and are shooting each other. I already counted fifteen headshots from the armored humans below. If we were betting, my money is going on those Black Eagle losers." he comments.
"I guess these are the soldiers Seth warned us about earlier. Makes you wonder what else he knows." Shear says with animosity in her voice.
"Hey, wait." Gabbro suddenly spoke up. "Why are we trusting that pretty boy Seth again? Didn't he betray us and the boss last time? Why are we working with him again?"
Shear snapped to her big red pirate. "Because we don't have a choice. You've seen what the Grand Master could do." Shear suddenly grew a look of pure horror and fear in her expressions. "What he did to Spectre… As soon as he uses the Stone on you… there's no escaping his hold. Believe me Gabbro… we don't have a choice but to work with him."
"Grr, if that Grand loser was here right now, I'd pummel him to the ground!" Gabbro shouts as he cracks his abnormally large knuckles.
"You'd be dead before you could even get off the ground… It's best if we don't fight back at all, Gabbro." Shear mutters as she hugs her legs while floating in midair.
"Sixteen!" Foolscap suddenly shouts as he points to the ground.
The Giganotosaurus roared in the air as he violently bit down on a soldier before swallowing him whole while the Irritator stepped on another soldier, biting his head clear off. Off to the side, another soldier was shown crawling backwards while holding his bloody arm as the Dilophosaurus slowly marched it's way to him. The soldier begged for his life but the predator quickly shut him up by letting out a loud hiss while it's frills shot up before spitting venomous spit onto the soldier's face, blinding him. The carnivore then pounced on the soldier and started to maul him to death while the Corythosaurus smacked a group of soldiers away using it's tail. The Chasmosaurus suddenly ran out of the warehouse and charged right into one of Black Eagle's vehicles, completely obliterating it before roaring at a group of soldiers.
Meanwhile, high on the roof, Blaise and Wrench continued to watch the chaos from below with Blaise having a very disappointed expression on her face. She then suddenly pressed her fingers against her earpiece. "This is Eagle 0-1, I'm calling in for reinforcements at hostile territory. How copy?" she asks to her earpiece.
"Eagle 0-1, this is Oxide 2-3. Copy that. Reinforcements are on their way. ETA .17 minutes. Over and out." says a male voice over the piece.
While the two continued to watch over the chaos, far behind the warehouse a rock was slowly moved out of the way as Zander peeked his head through the hole underneath the rock, quickly examining his surroundings. "We're clear." he says to his team below before climbing out of the rock.
The first one up was Max, whom immediately took a deep breath. "Aaaaaah. Fresh air." he says to himself with a smile.
"Max! Move your butt so the rest of us can get out!" Zoe could be heard from below.
"Oh. Sorry." Max replies in an emotionless tone before climbing out of the hole.
Back at the roof, Wrench, having had enough of watching the bloodshed down below, turned around just to get a new change of scenery when he spotted something in the distance. He squinted his eyes to see the two teams climbing out of the secret passage near the forest line, watching Max help out Zoe as Rex climbed up afterwards. The greasy haired man began to tap on his colleague's shoulder, much to her chagrin.
"What is it, Wrench?" she asks him in a rude tone.
Wrench on the other hand pointed to the direction where he was looking. "I found your little escape artists." he tells her.
Blaise turned around just in time to see Ursula getting out of the hole on time, a smirk slowly appearing on her face. "There you are." she says with a sinister smile.
Ed was the last one to leave the exit… if he didn't get stuck in the hole due to his size. "Guys, I think I'm stuck." Ed innocently declares with a depressed look on his face.
"Maybe if you ate less and threw in a salad more often, you wouldn't be stuck. Does anyone have any butter or grease to get him out?" Ursula asks the others.
"I got lube." Zander comments, pulling out a tube of lube.
Ursula raised a gawked eyebrow at him in response. "What the hell are you doing with lube?" she asks him in bewilderment.
"What's lube?" Rex suddenly asks, earning everyone's attention as they awkwardly stared at him.
Before anyone could answer the unexpected question, the sound of an engine roared above them, prompting them to look up to see Commander Blaise hovering over them with jet shoes. "As annoying and unprofessional that weasel Wrench is, I must admit he is a damn brilliant inventor." she comments as she hovers above the group.
"It's Commander- Commander uh- Big, yelling lady!" Max frantically shouts and points at the woman.
"Really? You can't even remember the name 'Blaise'?" Zoe asks him in a bewildered tone.
"I warned you once and I shall warn you again." Commander Blaise continues as she glares down at the kids. "Surrender now and you will be spared. Do you yield?"
Before any of them could answer… again, an explosion from the warehouse caught their attention as they turned to the building. There they saw the Giganotosaurus burst out of the building before roaring at a group of soldiers. The other dinosaurs quickly ran out and started to destroy the many vehicles surrounding the building as the Space Pirates flew out to give more orders. Among the smoke suddenly came out Jericho, holding both of his double barrel shotguns as he continued to partake in the battle. He suddenly looked forward and spotted the female commander from afar, both of them glaring daggers at one another.
The Australian suddenly smirked deviously at the woman. "Finally," he says, carelessly tossing his shotguns to the ground. "a real challenge."
He suddenly switched on the same power watch he used during his Black Eagle raid in Nevada, giving him a temporary shield and superhuman capabilities. He then leapt high into the air before landing directly in front of the two teams, pulling out a machete he had in his holster.
"Let's do this the ol' fashion way, Sheila." Jericho taunts the Commander.
Blaise landed on the ground before pulling out her Desert Eagle. "The name's Blaise. Not that you'll remember it since you'll be dead soon." Blaise taunts back as she pulls back the hammer.
Both the D-Team and Alpha Gang eyed the two adults whom were ready to literally rip each other apart, both teams feeling like a kid watching his parents go through a divorce. It was Blaise who made the first move as she suddenly fired her gun directly at Jericho's head, but because of his shield, it bounced off of it and struck a tree instead. Having been fired at, the Australian lunged forward and slashed his machete at the female Commander whom dodged out of the way at the last second. The two immediately got into a heated fight as they entered the woods behind them, leaving the two teams to themselves.
Max and Zander had already pulled out Ed by this point while Ursula called Reese once more. "Blondie! Tell me you're close!" Ursula begs the blonde.
On her Alpha Scanner's screen, Reese was shown in the cockpit of one of the Alpha Jets, currently flying the air vehicle. "I'm over the Pacific right now, Ursula. I'm trying to get there as fast as I can!" she tells the greenette over the device.
"Well we're in a bit of trouble over here in case you didn't notice!" Ursula yells as an explosion went off in the distance followed by the Scolosaurus roar.
"I pulled up a satellite video of your location and it's not looking good. You are completely surrounded!"
A tick mark appeared on the side of Ursula's head. "Yeah, tell me something I don't know, blondie!" she angrily tells the blonde.
"Wait, you hacked into a satellite, Reese?" Zoe asks her sister with a raised brow.
Dr. Z then stuck his snout on the screen. "Actually, she used my satellite I launched two years ago to try and spy on you kids but forgot about it. I guess my memory isn't as it used to be… Wait, did I leave the stove on?" he asks himself.
Reese took over at that point. "Things are gonna get a little rough for you guys. You got the Fist's men on one side, the Grand Master's on the other." she states.
This time, Max took over as he appeared on the screen. "Looks like we'll have to take 'em all out." he claims.
"Or let them take each other out. Either way, I'll see you when I get there guys." Reese replies as she ends the transmission.
"Well. Well. Well." says a familiar voice from above. The group of six turned around and looked up to see the Space Pirates hovering above them with their six dinosaurs standing idly below them. "Looks like it's getting too hot in here that you had to call for backup." Foolscap taunted them.
"Actually, it's a crisp 65 out here." Gabbro states.
"It's a figure of speech, numbskull. He means that the humans couldn't handle us so they had to call someone to pick them up." Shear explains as she smirks sinisterly at the group of six below.
"Nu-uh!" Max defiantly yells back. "We didn't call for back up! We just… called… someone to… Um… Hold on, I'll come up with something."
"In the meantime, how about we sick our dinos into you." Foolscap suggests as the six dinosaurs below them roar at their opponents.
Rex turned to his allies. "Ready, guys?" he asks them as he readies his DinoShot.
The other five held their respective summoning devices and dinosaur cards in their hands. "Ready when you are." Ursula replies.
"Let's do it!" Rex commands loudly as they all summon their dinosaurs.
"DINO SLASH!"
"CARNOTAURUS, BLOW THEM AWAY!"
"BLOSSOM FORTH, PARASAUROLOPHUS!"
"SHOCK 'EM, TRICERATOPS!"
"ALPHA SLASH!"
"SURF'S UP, SPINOSAURUS!"

Ursula held out Terry's new and improved card in her hand. "Time to see how strong you've really gotten, Terry!" she yells as she summons the T-Rex.
"ALPHA SLASH! IGNITE, TYRANNOSAURUS REX!"
A volcano was suddenly shown as a large eruption of fire and lava shot out from the top as a chibi sized T-Rex flew out along with the lava. In the background, booming and dramatic music fit for an iron fisted king ruling under tyranny, fueled by rage played in the background. The chibi sized dinosaur suddenly underwent a transformation as fire suddenly engulfed the animal, slowly growing his legs as they grew to their adult size. His tail came to life in a flame as a big and powerful bite finished off the transformation as Terry, no longer red with a yellow stripe like before, landed on the ground. Terry now had a color scheme of orange, black, and yellow with flame-like patterns consisting of those colors all over his hide as he gave off the loud, deafening, dominant apex roar into the sky as the volcano erupted behind him.
Needless to say, Ursula was beyond impressed by Terry's new look. "Aaaaaaaaah, Terry! You look so powerful! Now you really are the king of the dinosaurs!" she exclaims in glee.
Gabbro on the other hand was less than impressed. "Your T-Rex may look different, but is he strong enough to defeat my Giganotosaurus?" he asks as the aforementioned dinosaur roared out.
"Get ready, guys." Rex warns the team. "This is going to be one hell of a battle."
"ATTACK!" Max suddenly commands, pointing an aggressive finger at the enemy.
Their dinosaurs roared as their opponents roared back before the two sides charged at each other, eventually clashing into one another. Terry immediately chomped down onto the Giganotosaurus's neck while Spiny quickly grabbed the Irritator in his snout and tossed him aside. Meanwhile, Tank and the Scolosaurus both clashed with their tails, intertwining them while Paris was suddenly knocked down by the charging Corythosaurus. Chomp and the Chasmosaurus both got in a headlock while the Dilophosaurus spat venomous spit into Ace's eyes, momentarily blinding him while providing the former carnivore to pounce on him.
While the dinosaurs were fighting outside, the ensuing chaos inside the building was beginning to die down with both sides taking heavy casualties. By his point, the Grand Master's army were pinned down by the highly trained mercenaries, with Ungaro and Nick hiding behind some boxes both wielding their weapons, though refusing to fight.
"It's like Iraq out here, man!" Nick panics as bullets whiz past him. "I'm afraid if I stick my head out it'll get blown off! I'm starting to regret everything I've ever done in my life… Mostly."
"I'm starting to wish I followed my mom's wishes and became a plumber." Ungaro mumbles in fear.
Nick turned to him with a raised brow. "You know, I don't even know what you are. What do you do?" he asks the poacher.
"I'm a poacher." Ungaro calmly says like it was a normal response.
Nick was quiet for a few seconds before lidding his eyes. "I lost all kinds of respect for you I ever had." he tells him.
A Black Eagle soldier as well as DeLaney continued to fire from their positions until one of them was suddenly snatched up by Seth's Albertosaurus, scaring the other one as he watched his colleague get eaten alive. DeLaney was about to get eaten as well if it weren't for Jane Doe suddenly leaping into the air wielding an entrenching shovel in his hand, slamming it directly into the Albertosaurus' head, knocking it down to the ground. When Jane Doe landed on the ground, he stood up tall and mighty before forming an L with his finger on his helmet while standing erect.
"Cuh-rit!" he mocks the dinosaur with a devious smile.
"How'd you… do that?" DeLaney asks the man with a confused expression.
"War is like a game of chess: with guts on top of it! And instead of chess pieces, there's just brave blood-hungry sons-of-bitches who love war!" Jane Doe proclaims with vigorous and and unnecessarily aggression. A bullet suddenly struck his helmet, bouncing off of it while also alerting the soldier. "Take your lumps like a man, Private Twinkletoes. If God had wanted you to live, He would not have created me! ATAAAAAAAAAAACK!"
Jane Doe suddenly grabbed his rocket launcher and shot down at his feet which, for some unknown and bizarre reason, DIDN'T blow him up, having instead launched him in the air where he grabbed his shovel again and smashed it against one of the Grand Master's men. DeLaney meanwhile just gawked at the odd soldier with a bewildered expression on his face. "How he ended up here, I have no clue and never will." he says to himself.
Meanwhile, Seth was on the second floor catwalk where he was firing an M1911 at the Black Eagle soldiers while his Albertosaurus cleaned up the place. He suddenly shifted his attention to the window outside showing the massive dinosaur battle taking place, suddenly becoming intrigued by the fight for an unknown reason.
"Hmm." he hummed to himself, observing the battle.

Ace slammed to the ground after having finally got the gunk off of his eyes only to be met by the Dilophosaurus, whom hisses loudly at the Carnotaurus as it extends it's frills. The smaller carnivore was suddenly knocked away by Chomp using a massive headbutt, sending it flying away as the Triceratops successfully protected his friend. Tank suddenly came by while in a tail lock with the Scolosaurus while simultaneously having to deal with the Irritator on top of her, although she either didn't know due to her thick armored back or didn't even care in the slightest.
Spiny was shown staring down at the Giganotosaurus, both circling each other as they both remembered their previous fight they had back in Canada. The Giganotosaurus suddenly roared at the Spinosaurus, using their language to communicate with the spined lizard.
"Do you remember me? (Doo yooh rhemnmmembhur vokda?)" the Giganotosaurus asks Spiny in their language.
Spiny was silent for a brief second before answering with a growl, "Yes. (Fish.)"
The Giganotosaurus clamped it's jaws onto Spiny's snout, whom tried to shake his way out of the grip by thrusting his bear-like claws into the carnivore's head. The Giganotosaurus swung Spiny around before slamming him into a billboard, completely destroying it while also releasing the spined lizard from it's jaws. Angered by the attack, Spiny smacked the other carnivore with his tail before suddenly doing the same move it did the first time he fought the dinosaur as well as when he killed the Chimera, by latching his snout onto it's neck. However, when he dug his claws into the carnivore's head, he felt a mighty resistance from the Giganotosaurus when he went to snap it's neck and finish the fight, proving that the Giga was much stronger than the hybrid Chimera. The Giganotosaurus shook it's head out of Spiny's grasp before headbutting him under his jaw, knocking him to the ground. The carnivore suddenly snapped it's jaws onto Spiny's neck, dragging him on the pavement before tossing him to the ground where it stepped on the downed spined lizard. It was going to go for the finishing blow if it weren't for Terry suddenly coming out of left field and pushing it out of the way in time to save Spiny. The Spinosaurus stood back up as both he and Terry roared at the Giganotosaurus, whom roared back.
"How about we heat things up with Magma Blaster?" Gabbro rhetorically asks as he activates the move card.
"Two can play at that game! You use Magma Blaster too, Terry!" Ursula calls out as she kisses her move card before slicing it.
The two carnivores gathered fire in their mouth before unleashing a column of flame on to each other, the two columns colliding with each other as the two mighty carnivores used their respective strengths to try and outdo the other. The two columns were momentarily at a stalemate until Terry's Magma Blaster suddenly began to pierce through the Giganotosaurus' before it suddenly struck the Giga right in the face, knocking it to the ground.
"Alright! Way to go, Terry!" Ursula cheered for the T-Rex.
Terry in response burped out some smoke.
Back with Paris, she was currently struggling against both the Chasmosaurus and the Corythosaurus, whom decided to team up against her, much to Zoe's chagrin. "2 vs 1? That seems hardly fair!" she cries out in annoyance.
Shear smirked in response. "Sorry, but we don't play fair." she replies in a taunting tone. The two herbivores were about to take Paris out when suddenly Tank slammed into the both of them knocking them away. "What the?! Where did you come from?!" Shear asks the Saichania.
Ed suddenly walked up next to Zoe, Alpha Scanner in his hand. "We don't play fair either and as we know, two wrongs don't make a right, or in this case, a right hook!" Ed exclaims with a smile.
Tank roared before smacking her clubbed tail against the Corythosaurus, true to Ed's words, delivering a right hook with her tail. "How about we do a fusion move, Ed?" Zoe asks as she grabs a move card.
"Good idea." Ed replies as he mimics her movement.
"Go! Emerald Arrows!" the two yell out as they activate the move cards.
Both Tank and Paris glowed their respective elemental covers as the two shot out purple arrows and a ball of green energy respectively towards their two opponents. The two attacks combined as the Spike Arrows suddenly turned green while radiating leaf energy before striking the two herbivores, both dealing damage while also stealing their health for their own. The Saichania and Parasaurolophus roared in triumph as they felt their energy return back into their bodies.
"Nice!" Zoe congratulates as she high fives Ed.
Shear growled in response before grabbing a move card herself. "You won't be celebrating for too long. Not after I activate Counter Blitz!" she yells as she slashes the move card into her gauntlet.
The Chasmosaurus glowed yellow while thunderclouds suddenly formed in the sky; suddenly, a powerful bolt of lightning rained down from the heavens and struck Paris, dealing critical damage as she fell to the ground, panting. "Oh no! Paris!" Zoe cries out for her partner.
"And there's more! Hahaaaa!" Shear laughs as she activates a second move card.
The Corythosaurus glowed green and roared into the air before slamming it's forelegs onto the ground as a large crack in the earth began to form straight towards Tank. All of a sudden, prehistoric plants emerged from the cracks where they immediately began to attack Tank in all different directions, dealing critical damage to the herbivore until one of the plants suddenly grabbed the Saichania and threw her up in the air. Tank was flung high in the air before she was suddenly smacked down by one of the plants, sending her falling to the ground where she landed in a crater she created. Needless to say, this threw the two off their game.
"What move was that?!" Ed cries out in shock.
"Fern Frenzy." Shear smirks with a taunting tone.
Chomp and Ace roared at their opponents, the Dilophosaurus and the Irritator, whom both roared back, the two sides at a momentary stalemate. "How about we turn the tides with Neptune Stream?" Foolscap asks as he slashes the move card through his gauntlet.
"Let's make that tide a hurricane with Air Raid Storm." Gabbro says as he activates his move card.
The two dinosaurs both glowed their respective colors and roared as a column of water suddenly shot out from beneath Ace's feet, sending him flying in the air while the Dilophosaurus slammed it's tail against Chomp before lifting him up and tossing him in the air along with Ace. The Irritator suddenly ran towards the large column of water while the Dilophosaurus leaped into the air, with the spinosaurid swimming up the column before striking Ace inside of it, knocking him into the ground. The Dilophosaurus meanwhile struck Chomp in the air before striking him a second and third time before grabbing onto him as the two fell towards the ground, spinning rapidly while doing so. Ace landed on the ground as Chomp landed on top of him as the Dilophosaurus was the final one to land on top of both of them, dealing critical damage to the two hero dinosaurs.
"Ace!"
"Chomp!"
"Hahahahahaha! Just like old times, eh Gabbro?" Foolscap asks his companion.
"Mwahahahahaha. Terrorizing these pesky brats is always a fun time!" Gabbro laughs sadistically. At that moment, he heard a familiar roar from behind. "Huh?" He turned around to see his Giganotosaurus getting teamed up by Terry and Spiny, slowly backing it into a corner. "Hey! That T-Rex and Spinosaurus are ganging up on my dino!"
"How about I lend you a hand. Or in this case, a friggin' mountain! Hahaaaa!" Foolscap laughs as he activates the move card.
Terry and Spiny both roared at their opponent until suddenly the Scolosaurus came out from nowhere and lifted the two of them up before launching them high in the sky. A large purple crystal suddenly emerged from the ground next to the ankylosaurid as it slammed it's clubbed tail against it, sending chunks of crystal towards the two dinosaurs in the air. The chunks collided with them as the Scolosaurus slammed it's forelegs onto the ground, creating even larger crystals to emerge from the ground as the two dinosaurs landed on top of them, shattering them upon impact.
"Gaaaaaah! What was that?!" Ursula yells in anger.
"I think that was Gaia Mountain. I remember Dr. Z rambled about that one time." Zander says as a sweat drop drips down the side of his head.
The six wounded dinosaurs huddled together as the other six dinosaurs slowly marched their way towards them, all growling, roaring, or hissing at them, with the Dilophosaurus extending it's frills. "Guys, this isn't looking good." Zoe says to her friends and allies.
"For once, I'm in complete agreement with you, Zoe." Ursula mumbles as the two groups huddled next to each other.
The Space Pirates however floated above the battle where they were now laughing or cackling down at the humans. "Sweet, sweet revenge." Foolscap snickers as Gabbro chuckled sinisterly.
While the dinosaurs fought out in the open, Jericho and Blaise had changed their fight environment to the forest next to the hideout, where Jericho was shown getting thrown into a tree. He ducked as he narrowly avoided a kick from Blaise, managing to snap the entire tree in half, showing just how strong she truly was. Jericho swung his machete only for Blaise to block it with her arm before pulling out her Desert Eagle and planting it directly into Jericho's chest. There, she unloaded almost an entire clip into him but failed to take into account his skintight forcefield, so the bullets just bounced off and instead, heavily bruised the Australian man.
"Don't ya know it's impossible to kill an Australian?" Jericho chuckles and smirks at the Commander. Blaise said nothing, instead wrapping her arm around his arm like a boa constrictor before twisting it, this time actually bypassing the forcefield while also dislocating his shoulder. "ARGGGGGGGH! Fuckin', bloody, useless, pint size, drongo, cunt! Graaaaaagh!"
Blaise suddenly headbutted the man while letting go of him, causing him to fall down to the ground where she immediately pointed her Desert Eagle directly at his face. "Go ahead. Shoot me." Jericho grumbles as he holds his shoulder. "It'll just bounce right off! Watch!"
Before Blaise could pull the trigger, the sounds of helicopters in the distance rumbled in the air, prompting the two to look up into the forest sky. "I'll deal with you later." she tells him as she holstered her pistol.
Blaise walked away, leaving Jericho on the forest floor with a wounded shoulder, a wounded shoulder that would be healed in a few seconds. Jericho grabbed his arm and quickly twisted it, relocating his shoulder back into his socket as the pain immediately went away, only leaving it sore in a spot. He suddenly grabbed his bow and an arrow from his arrow holster and silently aimed it directly at Blaise, whom was already walking far away from him. It wasn't until Jericho stepped on a branch that Blaise realized something was off and when she turned around, an arrow immediately pierced into her shoulder, causing her to scream in bloody murder.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" she screams as she grabs her wounded shoulder.
Jericho however cackled like a madman. "Ha! Ha! Ha! Eye for an eye! Or in this case, a shoulder. See you later, wanker!" Jericho taunted by leaping high into the air, finally leaving the forest.
Blaise meanwhile continued to grumble in severe pain while grabbing her wounded shoulder with an arrow sticking out of it.
The two teams were still cornered as their dinosaurs continued to back up as the other six dinosaurs continued to march their way towards them, with the Space Pirates laughing at them from above. "Hahahahahaha!" they laughed sinisterly.
Their moment was suddenly interrupted when Jericho landed on top of Foolscap before propelling himself off of him, leaping back into the sky above. "Move, freakshow!" Jericho yells as Foolscap lands on the ground.
"Haha! That's even funnier!" Gabbro laughs at his friends' misfortune.
Several Black Eagle soldiers continued to fire upon their enemy when one of them was suddenly crushed by Jericho, whom landed on top of him, shattering the soldier's shoulders. "Ha ha ha ha ha! Bloody hell, you're awful!" Jericho laughs at the man's death before leaping into the building.
"Jerry?" the other Black Eagle soldier calls out to his dead friend in a confused tone.
Seth's Albertosaurus roared before picking up a group of Black Eagle soldiers, violently swinging them around in it's mouth while breaking their bones before tossing them aside. Jericho suddenly landed on the second floor catwalk where Seth was commanding his dinosaur. "Seth," he tells the blue haired man. "as much as I wanna make these wankers bleed, they got more bloody helmet-men diggers flying by in choppers, mate! They're gonna surround this place!"
"What did you call them?" Nick asks from below, mishearing 'diggers' as another word.
Seth grumbled before turning to the outside, spying the Space Pirates' dinosaurs cornering the other six dinosaurs. "Abandon this place. We're out of here." Seth tells the man before walking away.
Jericho leaned over the railing. "Full retreat! We're retreating! This place is a lost cause!" Jericho yells to his men.
"No need to tell me twice!" Nick yells as he and Ungaro run away from their cover.
The Black Eagle soldiers couldn't do anything as the Albertosaurus blocked their path, snatching one of them in it's mouth before swallowing him whole. Up above, Wrench continued to watch the entire fight unfold as it soon reached it's climax, currently videoing the entire fight with his cellphone. "Boss is gonna wanna see this." he mumbles to himself as he shoves his phone into his jacket pocket before retreating himself.
The two teams and their dinos continued to cower in the corner as the other six dinosaurs practically cornered them. "What do we do now?" Zoe asks her allies.
"I… I have no idea!" Rex yells out in a panicked state.
"I say we burn them alive!" Gabbro sadistically yells with a grin.
Before any of the Pirates could call out their moves, several large fireballs struck their six dinosaurs, knocking them away while also saving the two teams from their demise. "Huh?!" Shear gasps in shock.
"What the?! Where did that come from?!" Foolscap asks, bewildered by the sudden attack.
All of a sudden, the blue skinned Pirate was suddenly shot out of the sky by a bullet, hitting his shoulder as he fell to the ground as green blood oozed out of his shoulder. The two teams suddenly turned around to see Mr. Mills pointing his Glock 17 at the pirates with a smoking barrel. "Mr. Mills?!" Rex questions in bewilderment.
"Go! Now! Get to safety!" Mr. Mills demands the kids.
Shear growled in response before she suddenly pulled out her boomerang/shuriken-like weapon and threw it at the good doctor where it pierced his shoulder, prompting him to growl in pain. "Now's our chance, guys! Full on attack!" Rex yells as they all activate their moves cards.
"Aqua Javelin!"
"Hurricane Beat!"
"Lightning Strike!"
"Thorn Whip!"
"Heat Eruption!"
"Quake Saber!"
One by one, each of the dinosaurs used their attacks on their respective species' opponents, with Spiny piercing the Irritator with his Aqua Javelin, Ace rapidly kicking the Dilophosaurus as it was trapped in a mini tornado, Chomp firing a large lightning bolt at the Chasmosaurus, Paris sending a large thorny vine that struck the Corythosaurus, meteors falling from the sky sent by Terry that struck the Giganotosaurus, and finally Tank slashing the Scolosaurus with her crystalized tail. And one by one, each of the dinosaurs that were attacked were carded on the spot, finally ending the fight.
"ALRIGHT!" the two teams cheered as they jumped in the air.
"Grrrrr! Who sent that fireball! It threw us off our game!… Also I'm pretty sure I need to go to the hospital." Foolscap groans in pain as he grabs his shoulder.
"I don't think they'll take our species in as patients." Gabbro states as he grabs his cards.
"Well then get me a friggin' healing pod or something!"
"Those don't exist, Foolscap." Shear comments as she too grabs her cards.
"Great! Just great! I'm bleeding out here!
"I can suck out the blood." Gabbro offers.
"Get your mouth away from my wound!"
Back at the hideout, the Albertosaurus could be seen with smoke coming out from it's mouth while Seth stood on top of a circular platform that hovered in the air, holding a Fire Cannon move card in his hand. Unbeknownst to anyone, Seth had secretly helped the two teams and saved them from their demise, albeit for unknown reasons that only he knew. "Come back, Alberta." Seth says as he recalls his dinosaur.
Gabbro picked up Foolscap while Shear picked up his cards, throwing him over his shoulder as the two flew in the air. "This won't be the last time you'll see us! We'll have our revenge one way or another!" Shear yells at the two teams.
Before anyone could speak, the sounds of several helicopters flew over the sky with at least three Chinooks hovering over the base as Black Eagle soldiers rappelled down onto the ground. At that moment, an AH-64 Apache flew overhead as it turned to the three teams, slowly revving up the machine guns and rocket launchers. "Oh poop." Ed mumbles in fear.
Before the Apache could fire a single shot, a rocket suddenly collided with it, completely destroying it as the blades were flung towards the two teams, thankfully not slicing them and instead crashing into the forest. The destroyed helicopter fell down in a fiery crash after being shot down by an unknown vehicle. An unknown vehicle that eventually revealed itself to be the Alpha Jet, flying overhead as it fired another rocket at the Chinook, destroying it as it crashed into the hideout.
"Forget this! We're out of here!" Shear yells as she and Gabbro, still carrying Foolscap, flew off.
The Alpha Jet eventually hovered above the ground a few feet in front of the two teams as the hatch opened, revealing Dr. Ancient to be in the cockpit along with Jonathan. "Get on! Hurry!" he orders the teams.
"Where's Reese?" Zoe asks the doctor.
The pinkette got her answer when the second Chinook was shot out of the sky by a second Alpha Jet that flew overhead. "We need to go! Now!" Dr. Ancient yells as the two teams recall their dinosaurs into their cards.
Ursula and Zander grabbed onto Mr. Mills as Ed helped lift him inside the cockpit before the three got in themselves. "It's good to see you, Dr. Ancient." Mr. Mills says as he sits in his seat.
"Likewise, Mills. You kids get in with Reese, we'll take Mr. Mills and the Alpha Gang." Dr. Ancient tells the teams.
"Dr. Ancient," Jonathan suddenly says. "we need to leave. Gas is very low. We only have a quarter of the tank left."
"Just get us out of here Jonathan." the doctor orders as the hatch closes.
The second Alpha Jet hovered over the ground while the hatch opened, revealing Reese and Dr. Z in the cockpit, with Dr. Z holding out a hand. "Grab on!" he tells the kids as Max grabs his hand.
One by one, the crazed doctor pulled the kids inside the cockpit before Reese closed the hatch, the two Alpha Jets now flying into the sky and away from the fight. Inside the first Alpha Jet, Ursula was currently putting some gauze on Mr. Mills' bleeding shoulder, already dampening the medical tape with blood. "Have you managed to find the Grand Master yet, Dr. Ancient?" he asks the paleontologist.
"No, we haven't uncovered his identity yet. Why?" he asks the man.
"You guys are making a very big mistake. You will never know who the Grand Master is." Mr. Mills warns the paleontologist.
Seth observed the two Alpha Jets fly off in the distance, safe away from the Black Eagle soldiers raiding the hideout. He said nothing, instead just idly standing on his hover platform before flying down to the ground where several men were getting ready to take off in speed boats, with the Four Horsemen all in one that was already speeding in the water driven by Carter, whom was absent in the entire fight.
"So that base is gone. What now?" Nick asks the other Horsemen.
Jericho glared at the burning building as more Chinooks flew overhead, rappelling down more soldiers in the process. "Don't ask me… Ask the blue haired egghead, Seth. He seems to be the one calling the shots." he says.
"The Grand Master is the one calling the shots. Seth is just the messenger." Él Matacho reminds the Australian.
"Whatever."
"Either way, I'm going back to Vegas. I'll take the heat of the desert rather than the heat of a gun any day." Nick comments as he spits a loogie in the water.
In another boat driven by Shear, Gabbro was currently putting gauze on Foolscap's wounded shoulder. "Agh! Careful meat for brains!" Foolscap yells at the red skinned, muscular alien.
"I don't have meat for brains. I have a brain for a brain." Gabbro dumbly responds.
"It's a figure of speech, dumbass." Foolscap insults as Gabbro finishes wrapping the gauze around his shoulder. Shear said nothing, instead continuing to drive the boat in the water while deep in thought. "What're you thinking, Shear?" Foolscap asks.
"About the Grand Master." she responds in an emotionless tone.
"What about him?"
Shear was silent for a brief moment before finally answering, "I don't get him."
The speedboats continued to drive down the ocean, any survivors successfully escaping from Black Eagle's raid, albeit with heavy casualties.
"We made that by the skin of our teeth." Nick states.
Back at the hideout, the rest of Black Eagle were securing the abandoned hideout while also taking photos of anything they deemed valuable for research, with Wrench overlooking the entire operation. "Take what you can grab. It's important we get to know as much about these guys as possible." he orders the soldiers.
A wounded Blaise trudged her way next to the greasy haired man, whom noticed the arrow sticking out of her shoulder. "Woah. You alright?" he asks her.
"I have an arrow sticking out my shoulder, Sebastian. How do you think I feel?" she sarcastically and aggressively asks the man.
"I mean, I don't really care to be honest. I was just trying to be nice." Wrench shrugs off in response.
Without hesitating, Blaise pulled the arrow out of her shoulder, earning a loud grunt from her before placing her hand over her wound. "I hate Australians." she mumbles in anger.
"I'm sure they hate you too. Can we get a medic over here? She's bleeding all over my shoes." Wrench calls out as he walks away.
The two Alpha Jets eventually made it back to Sanjo City, parking inside the crashed Backland while also transporting Mr. Mills to safety where he was immediately sent to the medical bay for Helga to take care of. "Akch!" she yells in anger. "So much blood! It'll take veeks to vash off zese stains!"
"I mean, it's fine Helga. I was planning on getting rid of this shirt anyway." Mr. Mills tells the android.
"Mr. Mills." Cretacia suddenly spoke up, prompting the man to turn to her and her husband. "We're so glad that you're safe! I'm sure spending 20 years in the past was a nightmare for you. Not knowing if you were going to see your friends and family again. But don't worry! You're in safe hands now! Mark my words!"
"It's good to be back, Dr. Cretacia." Mr. Mills says to the woman with a warm smile.
"It's Cheryl."
"And hey," Max spoke up. "look on the bright side. You managed to steal some vital information from the Grand Master for us to keep. That's one step in stopping the Grand Master's plan."
Mr. Mills held out his thumb drive. "Everything I worked on is on this drive. I'm sure you guys can put it to good use." he says to them as he hands the thumb drive to Dr. Ancient.
"I'm just glad you're safe. Not to mention we finally have the Centrosaurus card that's been slipping out of our grasp for so long ever since Russia." he says aloud.
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement, aside from Zoe whom skeptically squinted at Mr. Mills for an unknown reason. "Now that we have Mr. Mills back," Rex states. "we are going to bring down the Grand Master and the Fist and get the rest of our cards back once and for all. This is only the beginning guys. I can feel it."
"Ahem!" shouts a voice at the door, prompting everyone to turn to it where they saw Dr. Z standing idly near it. "I'm not one for praising… Okay, yes I am. We kicked ass out there! But more importantly, I learned a vital lesson today!"
"You're old?" Zoe asks the old man.
"Hell no! I'm only a crisp 86! Besides, ever since I fused myself with Bartholomew- Hi. my lifespan has extended at least 20 to 50 years, give or take. No, the vital lesson I learned is… We're unprepared."
Silence loomed over the group for a brief moment. "What do you mean?" Ursula asks.
"I mean with everything that has been going on, with Ed's leg injury, Black Eagle, the Grand Master, Fort Mike Hawk-" Max stifled a laugh at the sound of the name. "-I discovered that we're gonna need more help. So I did us all a favor and hired us a new intern! And by hired, I mean extort. And by intern, I mean he's doing me a favor since I've been helping him for a while now. And by us, I mean mostly me."
"Wow. That… is actually really nice of you, Dr. Z. Who's the intern?" Dr. Ancient asks the old man.
As if on cue, the automatic doors opened, revealing it to be Francis carrying in a dirty shovel over his shoulder. "Hey, Dr. Z, I buried that guy in the forest like you wanted me to." he tells the doctor as if it was a perfectly normal thing to do.
Once more, silence loomed over the area upon reveal that Francis was now the new member of the team helping Dr. Z and everyone else out. Sure enough, this came to a shock for everyone, but mostly for one person specifically.
...It was Max.

Where was I?... Oh yeah.
WOOOOO BABY! Act 1 of Prehistoric Peril is finally complete! Act 2 is on it's way! Just to let you all know, there are going to be three Acts in this story. Act 1 finishes with Mr. Mills finally being found, and Act 2 will start immediately after this chapter. What will Act 2 be about? Who knows? Only I do. Hehehehehehehehe. Anyway, it was a blast finally writing this chapter and getting it out. I hope you all enjoyed it and be sure to leave a review if you did.
