The Broken Boosted Gear

By Try Another Time

A house in flames. He couldn't see as he tried to escape from this prison in flames. His room was filled with smoke and the flames started to reach inside the room.

"Mom! Dad!" Issei called out to them while trying his hardest to escape.

"Issei, you need to help us." The voice of his parents called out to him from within the other side of the door.

The kid touches the burning door. He tries to open the door but his actions are meaningless and only lead to him getting his hands burned.

"Issei!" The voices of his parents continued to call out to him.

Issei tries once more to open the door but he's too weak. The smoke makes this even harder for him. The boy falls to his knees while tears fall from his eyes. "I can't. I can't do it."

The flames spread out even more and slowly but surely they reached the boy. His skin burns as he screams his anger and remorse out.

"Dear!"

Back to the real world.

Tiamat calls out to him while she tries to wake him up. The temperature within the room had increased to dangerous levels and his power was starting to grow wild.

The Welsh dragon starts to open his eyes and realizes what he has done.

"Dear, what's happening? Your powers were going out of control." Tiamat looks into his eyes.

"I… I'm sorry. I need some fresh air." Issei tries to leave the bet but Tiamat prevents that from happening.

The dragoness embraces him. "You're not going anywhere. Yukime was right. You look even paler than before. That needle brought something back to the surface and not even having two souls is helping you. Talk to me. I'm here for you."

The Welsh Dragon grows silent. His body shakes as his memories of that night come back to haunt him. "I killed them. I'm the reason behind their deaths. I only know how to kill. I only bring misery to those around me."

Tiamat feels a few of his tears on her skin. The connection between the boy's soul and the one of the dragon was strong. Their memories and emotions were deeply connected. This meant that any regrets became much more impactful for the Welsh Dragon. She could see that so she tried her best to calm him down. "We can't change the past my dear nor can we control everything around us. But their deaths were not your fault; Never forget that. You're the Welsh Dragon, you know which beings have been your victims. You're not only capable of killing, but you have also saved others so don't think that you're just a killer. I'll make you remember that as many times as needed."

Issei feels her embrace tightening around him while she kisses the top of his head. The warm embrace she is offering him is enough to make him relax and close his eyes once more. He was too tired, but Tiamat's embrace was enough to make him go back to sleep once more.

"Sleep peacefully, my dearest idiot." Tiamat then went back to sleep once more.

Next morning.

The children of the house began to get up before they began with their morning routines.

Tosca and Kuroka were the first ones that met each other on their way to the bathroom.

"Morning," Tosca said with a sleepy face.

"Is someone tired after yesterday's training?" Kuroka asks with a silly smile.

"Easy for you to say when you're the one that has more experience when it comes to combat but no. I'm still worried about the old man and the rest. We haven't gotten any news about them." Tosca admits.

"... Tosca, pay attention to your nose. Don't you smell something," Kuroka says with a small smile.

"What….." Tosca stops herself and focuses her attention on her sense of smell. The strong scent of her mother and father quickly invade her nostrils. "... I'm an idiot."

"You're just tired. I heard them arrive really late last night. I didn't get up but I heard their voices. The mission seemed like a success based on Raynare's voice. Seems like Serafall and another lady decided to stay for the night as well." Kuroka explains while they continue to walk towards the bathroom.

"Another lady? Is that lady the goddess Ereshkigal?" Tosca asks.

"Most likely. Well, who gets the bathroom first? You or me?" Kuroka asks.

"Wait, aren't you curious about her? there Is a goddess in our house!" Tosca argues.

"Tosca, you should be used to this already. Your "father" attracts females to this place without even trying and I was already expecting her to live with us based on her importance for the alliance if she decided to join us. Now decide, who gets the bathroom?"

Tosca sights. "You're too carefree. Take the bathroom but be fast. I need a cold shower and don't make it seem like the old man is trying to create a collection of mates."

"Get used to it, the number is bound to increase even if I don't personally like it that much," Kuroka says. "Just how many more mates is he going to end up with? Isn't this many enough?"

Some moments afterward.

The rest of the children joined Kuroka and Tosca on their way towards the kitchen just for them to find Ereshkigal, Serafall, Gabriel, and Tiamat drinking some coffee. Raynare had her back turned to them as she took care of breakfast.

"Good morning kids," Tiamat said.

"Good to see you too, Tia, Raynare, Serafall, Gabriel, and nice to meet you Ereshkigal." Kuroka was the first to reply while the others were a bit scared of the goddess.

"Don't fear lady Ereshkigal kids. She's an ally and you will see her all the time." Gabriel says.

"But she's a goddess," Asia replies.

"I might be but I don't care that much about formalities. Just call me by my name and it would be alright." Ereshkigal says with a calm face.

The children look at each other for some moments before they lower their heads to greet the goddess. "Welcome to our home, Ereshkigal-san."

"They are so cute. Makes me want to have some kids of my own." Serafall jokes.

"They are good kids. Now grab some breakfast and get to school. Cleria already left." Tiamat says.

"Mom, you just got back. Also, where is the old man?" Tosca asks after not finding him around.

"... He's sleeping and once he gets up he's going to be gone for a few more days. I'm sending him to England so he can relax a bit. Gabriel, Serafall, and I are also going to be away because of a mission so I won't get to see you for some days. Follow Raynare's instructions while we're away." Tiamat says with a calm tone.

"But you just got back. And what happened to big bro?" Gasper asks.

"Is he injured?" Valerie joins in.

"Can I do something to help him?" Asia doesn't stay silent either.

"Some of us need to travel to Greenland to meet another goddess. We're representing the alliance. In the case of your brother… he just needs some fresh air. He's dealing with a personal situation. He's fine but he needs some time off. Tiamat thinks that some time with Le Fay will help him." Gabriel explains.

"But once he's back he might take all of you on a small mission. So look up for that. Now, get moving. School should be your main priority for now." Serafall smiles as a way to ease the worries of the kids.

The kids stayed silent for a few moments before they decided to trust the adults but Kuroka was really curious, so she decided to wait until the kids left to get the answers she needed.

After the kids left.

"Talk, we need to know what's happening," Kuroka says while putting her coffee mug away.

Ereshkigal summons the needle. "This needle tortures the souls that it pierces with its past sins, regrets, and painful experiences. I pierced both of his souls with it and like it was to be expected it had some after-effects on him."

"He almost destroyed the whole residence while he was having a nightmare. He's not well. He needs to have a calm head while having all of that power but as he is now he's a time bomb. I want him to rest and keep his mind away from his trauma. Staying here is not helping him. This is the location of that trauma after all. You, Yukime and him will go to England. Keep an eye on him at all times. Yukime's cold powers might help to keep his flames under control if they got rampant at some point. Make sure he evades any fights until he's back to his calm state." Tiamat explains.

"I understand. What about that mission that Serafall mentioned?" Kuroka looks at the devil.

Serafall takes out a folder. "Mount Fuji. The Shinto clans usually keep that place under control. It is both a sacred place for them and one of the most dangerous places that they use to train their members. There's a major curse that surrounds a massive area that has evolved over many centuries of war, bloodshed, and horrible events. It has become a separate realm that is connected to the mount and inside of it, many dangers await anyone that dares to enter inside of it. Yukime gave us the information regarding the mission. The alliance is going to help the Himejima clan with its attempt at exorcising the curse and putting an end to its menace."

"The Welsh dragon is going to be needed. We're also thinking about sending the younger members of the alliance on this mission alongside the Welsh Dragon as a way of making sure they get some extra training. Vali, Rias, Isaiah, Shirone, Le Fay, Gasper, Valerie, Asia, you, and maybe even Akeno will join this mission. Getting any type of experience is going to be helpful to see if your training regimes are the right ones for you in the long run. The stakes are high and we need to make sure that all members are capable of protecting themselves. A few of the general troops have already begun to travel into the cursed area to train and search for the core of the curse." Gabriel says in a concerned tone. "The declaration of war from Hades is just the beginning. We can expect other factions to actively declare their opposition towards us even if we haven't attacked them."

Kuroka thinks about it for a few moments. "I can see it. Issei won't always be there to protect all of us and there's always a chance for us to be separated. Even then, are you three sure about letting kids such as Gasper or Valerie join a mission such as this?"

"Their sacred gears and abilities as Dhamphirs need to be tested on actual missions. Asia and Le Fay are the only humans amongst them and even they will get to test their current abilities. Everyone will get their chance." Gabriel argues.

"... Got it. I won't object. Now, regarding Issei, I'll make sure he gets that time to relax and regain control over his emotions. Leave it up to me and Yukime." Kuroka says with a confident face.

"I trust you, kitty cat. Well, Raynare I leave the rest of the kids in your hands. Make sure they're ready for the mission once he's back." Tiamat says.

Raynare bows. "As a maid, I will always accomplish my task."

Tiamat then turns towards Ereshkigal. "You can stay in this residence from now on if you feel like it. Also, if you feel like it, do join my dearest when the mission starts. There's bound to be souls trapped inside that cursed area and your skills will be helpful."

"I was already expecting it. I'll see when the day comes. For now, I need some rest. Thanks for allowing me to stay here." Ereshkigal says.

"It is our pleasure. Gabriel, Serafall, I'll meet up with you two in a few minutes." Tiamat stands up.

"We'll be waiting," Serafall replies.

The group watches as Tiamat walks away in silence.

"... She worries about him. I never expected somebody to worry so much about Ddraig." Ereshkigal admits.

" It is her mate and they had known each other for a long time. He has changed a lot and I do believe it has helped their relationship to grow even more. Gaining that second soul has been the best thing that has happened to the Welsh Dragon. I keep an eye on almost all of his moves and I can tell you that he's an outstanding male. When he's not training, he tries to have as much time as possible with the rest of the members of the house. Going out to visit different places with Valerie and Gasper, practice gardening with Asia, fishing with Tosca. He enjoys the little things and tries to live in peace." Gabriel explains.

"He is a great ally and a lovely friend. Maybe the most desirable guy that any woman would want as a father for her kids." Serafall admits with a small blush.

"He looks like a kid," Ereshkigal replies.

"Don't try that argument with me. We both know that gods don't care about age or appearance. Shiva looks much younger than him and he has kids. He's older than me and even older than Gabriel. And he will grow older with time but even then appearance doesn't matter." Serafall argues.

"True but don't you care about him having other women in his life?" Ereshkigal asks.

"It is a bit troublesome but you need to get used to that when it comes to male dragons. Look at Tannin, every lady that wanted something with him got used to that type of relationship after some time. Is just a given at this point; male dragons don't do monogamy. I even heard through some rumors that Midgardsormr has at least 5 wives." Serafall continues.

"But he's always sleeping based on what I know." Kuroka joins in.

"I don't think that sleeping is the only thing he does. Another rumor says that he's also taking care of the young pups of Fenrir but that's what rumors are. We can't know the truth until we see it with our eyes." Raynare says.

Meanwhile, Tiamat.

The dragoness enters the room. As soon as she did, she found her mate still asleep. The room was a bit colder for her taste but that was helping him to sleep.

She approaches the boy before she starts to caress his face. "Dear? Can you hear me?"

"... Tia?" The boy replied.

"How are you feeling?"

"... A bit better."

"That's good….. Look, I'm leaving with Gabriel and Serafall. We're going to visit Gaia on Greenland alongside the others. I don't know how long it will take but I'm sure it will be alright. For now, I want you to go and visit Le Fay for a few days. Fresh air and different scenery will help you to calm yourself. We both know that in this state any fight would be a dangerous bet. Take the time to enjoy the time with her and get your emotions under control. Can you do that for me?" Tia looks into his green eyes.

The child looks back into her azure eyes. He is silent but his mind can understand her worries. "I'll do it."

Tiamat closes the distance and gives him a kiss. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too. Be careful."

"Dummy, I'm the one that is always worrying about the safest option."

"I know. Just don't join a fight you can't win."

"Don't worry. I'm smart enough to evade any conflicts with Typhon if he does show up. A fight with a "godslayer" is not one I'll join without you around."

"Take care, Tia."

"You too, my dearest idiot. I'll see you later."

An hour later.

Issei looked at himself in the mirror. His white suit with silver flowers made him look fantastic but his face was still a bit pale.

"We need to get this under control," Ddraig says.

The dragon raises his hand and tries to summon a bit of his power. The flame is irregular and it seems too dangerous to even use in a fight.

"I know. I need to…. I need to accept it and cut that part of my past." Issei closes his fist.

The boy turns around and walks out of his room without looking back. His steps are firm and yet there's still a sense of doubt surrounding him.

It doesn't take long for the boy to reach the living room. Yukime and Kuroka were waiting for him alongside Raynare.

"You're ready?" Kuroka asks.

"... I am. Raynare, I leave the house and the kids to you. Take care of them and anything else that might happen. I trust you." Issei says while looking straight into her eyes.

Raynare nods. "I know. Please take care of yourself, my lord. Even the strongest need time to take care of their health."

"... I know. Yukime, Kuroka, I'll be in your hands." Issei looks at both girls.

"Leave it to us," Yukime replies with a calm and caring tone. As someone who wanted to know everything surrounding him, she knew that this small trip was a very delicate one. "No fights or situations which can increase his stress. I'll make sure that you're back to your calm self."

"Well, I'll transport us to the Pendragon residence. Well, see you later Raynare." Kuroka uses her power and creates a magic circle.

In a matter of moments, the trio disappears which leaves Raynare with a concerned face.

"I pray that you're able to find peace with it, my lord."

England, Pendragon Residence.

One would expect happiness, glory, and many people within a residence such as the Pendragon residence.

The Pendragon family, the descendants of the first king of England, the wielders of one of the holy swords. Famous for producing some of the strongest humans around.

A family sought after for its glory by many families.

All that was far from the cruel truth behind the members of the family.

They weren't in control of the nation that their ancestor had helped to create, to begin with. The Pendragon family was just a living memory of the glory of the past. The crown of England sat on the head of distant relatives in today's era.

The political power they once held was non-existent as many decades had gone by since a direct descendant of the family sat in a place of power. No prime ministers, no kings or queens, not even a small charge within the government.

The aspirations of the family members had changed a lot since the times of Arthur. Some disappeared into the shadows of different nations as they sought to leave the past behind. Those that remain were swallowed and chained up by the remaining royals of England. The once-proud golden dragon now sat as a chained pawn of the nation. They had money but they had many restrictions and expectations to reach. They didn't choose their fates anymore.

Their education needed to be approved by the other lords. Their future professions were chosen based on the skills and gender of the person. Even their names were chosen for them in most cases.

Each new lord was chosen amongst the children of the past generation. A boy was raised with careful attention and no mistakes were to be made or drastic consequences were to follow. His siblings, be it girls or boys were then married off to whatever family the other lords choose. Like livestock on a farm, the Pendragon descendants were sold off to those that offered the biggest incentives.

Money, international connections, payments for favors, etc. There were many stories about members of the family being sold or given as "gifts" to suitors who were interested in the family.

That fate was awaiting our dear Le Fay until a certain event happened.

"The bride of a dragon."

"A jewel that was already owned by an adversary they couldn't fight."

"A princess that was bound to disappear when the time came."

Many were the comments of the lords when the news reached their ears. They argued with each other and even accused Uther of planning this. Le Fay was a witch but she still held importance to the lords of England.

"We have this beautiful girl that could be the wife of your kid."

"She's a virgin that could give you wonderful kids."

"Just imagine showing her off to your friends."

So many suitors, so many connections and power to be gained. None of that was possible anymore as a dragon, the Welsh Dragon in person was something you couldn't dare to oppose.

"Do you remember the day in which the Vatican was burned down into the ground? The tragedy in which the old heads of the catholic church were killed? The one responsible for such an event is not well known but those that know the truth could never hope to fight those crimson flames."

No atomic weapon could ever hope to make a scratch on him. In a world in which gods exist, few human weapons could ever make a scratch on a being such as the Welsh Dragon.

With such an adversary taking "ownership" over her what could they do? All of those dreams were now impossible. Trying to marry her off at this age in secret was like committing suicide. England would burn into the ground if they tried to put a finger in her.

This new development led to their dislike of the girl increasing even more. The already isolated girl now found herself surrounded by even more hate than before.

The only big difference was that she no longer cared.

Le Fay walked through the halls of the lonely residence while wearing a pair of headphones and without shoes. She was holding her staff as she danced through the halls while feeling a sense of freedom that she never knew she needed.

*Man with a mission- yoake*

"You're a disgrace for the nation."

Those words no longer matter because her alliances now fall in a place where a normal human might never reach. Her nation was now the alliance.

"A disgrace for humanity."

They never saw her as human, to begin with. She was hated for being one and now she was praised for her skills. Tiamat told her that at some point she would stop aging. It brought her a bit of sadness but at the same time, she had gained something that many wished to have.

"A disgrace for your family."

Her father disapproved of the marriage and it hurt her but Arthur was happy for her. She wasn't losing any other family members, she was gaining more. The Welsh family was unique like her and she felt welcome by them.

All of those worries from the past were now so distant to her. As the witch danced around the halls, her magic sparked up and made the things around her float in the air.

"One more time believe in us!" Le Fay sang her joy out like a fairy that was finally able to spread her wings and fly out.

While this happened the cameras around the home tracked her every movement.

In another part of the house.

Uther watched and heard his daughter singing. A warm sensation that he had lost a long time ago invaded his chest although he couldn't show it. "My fairy. Your mother would be so happy if she saw you like this."

An old diary sat on his desk alongside two necklaces. Each one held a copy of an old picture. Uther took the three items and put them inside a small box that held three letters. "Cataleya, Marie, my cage is getting close to being broken. "Tristan" has set out and he promised to come back one day to put an end to this story. I have started to dream about it. About that cage that opens up after so long and lets me fly once more. Once more like in that field Cataleya."

Uther closes his eyes and reaches out while smiling. His hand tries to grab something and yet he's unable to.

A tear rolls down his eye.

"Marie, will you join me alongside Cataleya when the time comes. In that field, in which I can finally rest."

The phone on his desk starts to ring.

The head of the family lets a few more tears out before he recomposes himself. His stern and cold face came back. He hides his emotions once more and then picks the phone up.

"Yes?"

"We found some tracks. Uther, you better be telling the truth. Don't hide anything from us or we promise that we're going to make him regret ever daring to step outside that home."

"I have no leads, your majesty. Arthur didn't tell me anything on the day of his disappearance. He left nothing in his room. No personal diary, no notes, no plans. He left with no money or sword in his hand. Not even a change of clothes. He disappeared like a ghost."

"... Uther you better not lie to us. We tracked you down when you did the same thing back in the past. We taught you a lesson that time and we can make the same thing happen again."

"I know that but here's the thing. Arthur has no love for nobody. A cold teen that barely shows appreciation for his sister. He loves nobody." Uther lies. "Lie, Tristan. Hide all of it, so that nobody can ever hurt her. That's what I taught you, my child. The only lesson that you still follow."

Thus continued the call for at least 10 more minutes.

Meanwhile, Elaine.

Elaine continued to take care of today's lunch while thinking about a certain blond who left while holding a coffin.

"I promise to come back to you once the time is right. Don't look for me. Don't send me letters. I'll be alright but if I ever need help I'll reach out to my brother-in-law. He trusts my path and he's someone they can't touch."

Those were his last words as he disappeared into a portal with an unknown destination.

Three months had gone by since then and every day she would think about him.

"Arthur…. Are you really fine? Are you eating well? Sleeping alright?" Elaine kept asking herself many similar questions.

Her attention was then drawn towards the magic circle that appeared before her.

"Eh?" Elaine watched as three figures appeared before her. "Lord Welsh?"

"Hi, Elaine. Excuse us for coming to visit without calling first." Issei says with a small smile.

"Elaine-san, nice to see you again. This is Yukime. You have seen her but this is the first time you two have met formally." Kuroka says while presenting Yukime.

Yukime bows. "a pleasure."

"The pleasure is mine," Elaine replies back. "You came to visit Le Fay right?"

"... Yes. Can I go and look for her?" Issei asks.

"Go ahead. Just follow the singing and you'll find her." Elaine pays close attention to his face and detects something.

Issei bows and walks right past her.

The trio watches as the boy disappears.

"Something happened. Kuroka-sama, can you tell me what happened?" Elaine asks.

"Take a seat. This happened not too long ago." Kuroka says.

Back with Le Fay.

Le Fay continued to sing her heart out as her magic made her float alongside the items around the halls. The young girl was feeling so happy and free that she didn't even notice the presence of her "husband" nearby.

The dragon didn't take long to track her voice. In a residence where only three people currently live, sound travels far.

"She's going well." Issei pushes one of the floating flower pots to the side and places himself right under the girl. "Now, how should I bring her down? My tail might be a good option." The dragon summons his tail like his daughter usually does when she's home and stretches it out to grab the singing witch.

The tail twists itself around her waist before it begins to pull her down with care.

Le Fay has her eyes closed and doesn't realize what's happening until it's too late.

Her body is grabbed by Issei and shortly after she opens her eyes.

Her eyes look straight into his for a few seconds before she realizes the situation she's in.

"So cheerful singing witch? Maybe music is your destined path? Does the life of a magic idol appeal to you? I know someone with the right connections." Issei awaits her answer.

Le Fay is silent and her face begins to glow red with embarrassment. "Kyah!" She tries to cover her face with her hat.

Le Fay screams and her magic reacts to it. Every flower pot and floating item goes back to the floor without breaking.

"Le Fay, come on. You have a beautiful voice. I did enjoy the event." Issei replies in a happy tone.

"But….. You weren't supposed to see that. And when did you arrive? Why did Elaine stay quiet about it? I'm so embarrassed!"

Issei smiles before he removes the hat. He places a kiss on top of her head. "It's alright my cheerful fairy. I love your singing. I would like to hear more of it if you let me be present."

Le Fay grows even more embarrassed after seeing his smile and sincere eyes. "Issei!"

The embarrassing situation continues for some more minutes after that.

In the gardens.

"So you recruited Ereshkigal after enduring her judgment?" Le Fay asks while she brushes his hair.

The pair are sitting under a tree.

"Yes. I had to relieve many things without a way of escaping. I can't even recall all of them but that fire is still fresh in my mind."

"I can see that. Is still something that is haunting you. But as Tiamat-nee-san said, you're not to blame. A child without the knowledge of his sacred gear is not to be blamed for the actions of a rogue fallen angel. Issei, you're not devoid of sins in your past. You have told me about them. The old Welsh Dragon killed anything and everyone without giving them second chances. You have many deaths under your belt and you admit it. But the death of your parents is not one you should drag with you forever. My Mom died shortly after giving birth to me. I never met her but I can't blame myself for it. She wanted me to live and put all of her efforts into making sure of it." Le Fay puts her arms around his neck and closes the distance between them. "Good parents live to protect their children and sometimes they also die for them. It's cruel but is a cruel bullet we have to bite. The elder should protect the newer generations. That's a quote that I like. You're a father now, Tosca is your child and if you died to protect her you'd feel happy about it wouldn't you?"

Issei stays silent while thinking about it.

"Their death was also outside of your control. Don't drag their corpse alongside you for the rest of your life, my dear dragon. Allow yourself to come to terms with it. Gabriel has even confirmed their presence in heaven so let yourself heal. They would want that for you. You're alive and that has to be their joy. Knowing that you still breathe and are able to walk in the land of the living has to make them happy even if it involves many dangerous circumstances around you. Take the steps and walk the path that will set you free. Ok?"

"... I can try but I won't promise anything."

"That's alright with me. Now, regarding my brother. Have you heard anything?"

"Nothing. Unless it is an emergency he won't reach out to me. I gave him enough resources for him to survive in whatever place he went into. No calls mean that he's fine."

"Elaine and I can't accept it that easily. It's careless of Arthur. He's good with the sword for his age but his cooking skills suck. He lacks many things necessary for survival."

"Fay, he was preparing himself for it. You gotta trust him. His path is one that is necessary for his dreams. There's a lot that you don't know but you'll learn when the time is right. I promise you that I'll tell you everything when the moment comes." Issei turns around and looks into her eyes.

"You promise?"

"I swear on my souls that I'll tell you everything when the time comes." Issei smiles.

Le Fay looks into his eyes and finds no signs of lies. Her arms trap his neck and she embraces him. "I'm happy to have you here, my dear dragon."

"And I'm happy to be with you, my cheerful witch idol." The dragon jokes.

Le Fay blushes but enjoys his warmth. "Stay by my side forever."

"Always." Issei closes his eyes and allows himself to enjoy the cheerful energy of Le Fay. His souls felt a bit more at ease with her around.

In a place far away.

*Survive said the prophet- RED*

Some paths are darker than others. Some are more painful than others but the meaning behind them is worth it.

Some sins are necessary as we try to free everyone from a curse.

Tristan "Arthur" Pendragon continues to walk into the unknown while wearing a black mask. His golden hair was nowhere to be seen as a crimson red was the only thing that remained.

His path was clear and he was willing to fight until he was strong enough to end the Pendragon family with his two hands.

He only hoped for his sister's forgiveness when the time came.

"I'll free everyone from that accursed fate. There won't be another lord Pendragon ."

*Notes of the author: And here we go with the last chapter before the end of the year. I wish you all a happy new year and we'll see each other. I hope that the story for Tristan/Arthur is liked by everyone.*

*Godslayers: Separate group of beings which include Typhon, Fenrir, Midgardsormr, and other beings who don't have the power to destroy a planet but possess certain abilities that could kill gods. This particular group can destroy a lot of things but a whole planet is outside of their realm at least for now. We'll see more about these guys.*

*Author's note: Arthur= Tristan. There's a motive for this. A whole side story that I might write one day.*
