Jedayi. left the house to start his day at school. Augustus was waving him bye, then, decided while Jedayi was away to call Wednesday. He dialed her number and placed the phone on his ear. Once she answered, so ,as the phone continues the ring Wednesday had finally picked up
"Hello?",asked Wednesday.
"Hi Wednesday."said Augustus
"Hello Augustus, good morning." ,said Wednesday
"Good morning to you ! Sooooo.. listen, we're friends right?",asked Augustus.
There was a minute of silence.
"Yes, we are friends what's wrong with that?",asked Wednesday.
"Ummm.",said Augustus,trying to figure out what to say. He was unsure on what to say to her next now
"Augustus?,asked Wednesday on the phone.
Augustus stopped himself realizing on how silent he was,and , that he was still on the phone with Wednesday so in a way to talk to her back he says
"I gotta go.,he said.
"What?",asked Wednesday.
Augustus quickly hung up her feeling of being embarrassed. That he had asked that question towards her.
