Disclaimer: I don't own the 2004 animated film Shark Tale and all rights goes to DreamWorks Animation SKG. Shark Tale has been one of my favorite movies since my childhood, and it still is today. I've enjoyed that movie many times since I was a kid, and I still enjoy it today. Since I love the movie so much, I decided to a story about it called Attack Of The Silky Shark Mafia which is the sequel to the whole retelling of the movie that is called When A Little Fish Tells A Great White Lie with new characters, new scenes, and different dialogue, and my OC belongs to me. Attack Of The Silky Shark Mafia
Chapter 4: Don Borovsky's Scheme
Meanwhile, at Northside Reef during the evening, some of the citizens of the reef at a Splash Savings Bank are making deposits and withdrawals with their own money with the help of the bank tellers who work there. Suddenly, everything has been interrupted when a group of seven members of the silky shark mafia arrive along with Deirdre and Isaac to rob the bank, and they threaten the customers and the employees with shotguns and have their fins up in the air which they do so. They successfully steal most of the money from the bank, and then they leave the bank just as they begin heading back to the RMS Republic.
Later on that day, right after the silky shark mobsters as well as Deirdre and Isaac has successfully robbed a Splash Savings Bank and stole most of its money, it is now nighttime, and the citizens of Northside Reef did what they would usually do such as swimming around the reef, going to various plans, and doing their own daily routines. While they did so, they are very frightened about what just happened from earlier, and they hope that something must be done about the silky shark mafia has always been a threat to the reef for so long and they already know that most of them would end up working for them out of fear so they wouldn't end up being their next main course.
At the Whale Wash of Northside Reef, while the many employees are doing their hard work of cleaning the humpback whale customers and helping them out with their personal hygiene by removing the slime off their tongues, taking good care of their teeth, removing their barnacles, scrubbing their backs with soap suds, using the kelp brushes, automatic brushes, soaper systems, and blowers on them, scrubbing detergent on them, spraying foam on them, and waxing them, Joyce is in her office doing some paperwork and she has already heard about the latest bank robbery in Northside Reef by the silky shark mafia, and she is very frightened all about it as much as everybody else are and wishes that somebody could help them out with stopping the mafia from terrorizing the reef for so many years.
Also, Joyce remembers how her two loyal employees at the Whale Wash Hannah and Quincy made a deal with Don Borovsky and his mafia in order to have the reef spared from them if they bring them Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina to them once they have managed to find them at the Whale Wash of Southside Reef, and she already knows that once they get what they want, they would go back on their word just like they did many times with the past and she remembered how she made a deal with them in order to keep the Whale Wash safe, only for it to get wrecked anyway. Joyce is very worried about how Hannah and Quincy's deal with Don Borovsky and his mafia would eventually turn out since he doesn't keep promises, and she knows that they're making a huge mistake already.
"Oh, Hannah and Quincy, what were you thinking?" asked Joyce. "I can't believe you would make a deal with one of the most feared crime bosses of the Atlantic Ocean without even noticing that he isn't one of those people who couldn't be trusted just like most fish couldn't be trouble, especially most of the lionfish who are usually interested in being in relationships with those who are rich and famous even though they are so good-looking and stunning. I know you want to help out this reef with the silky sharks causing trouble for everybody, but this isn't gonna help 'cause it's just a dirty trick, and they always will be terrorizing this reef just like they've always been. If they honestly think that the silkies are gonna keep their promise, they're actually screwing up big time. Just like I screwed up when I made a deal of my own with the silkies."
Joyce continued to feel very worried about Hannah and Quincy making the deal with Don Borovsky and his silky shark mafia since it would eventually cause more problems for everybody in Northside Reef and she already knows that they would end up breaking their promises to those they make deals with them which has happened many times in the past just as she continued doing her paperwork at her desk.
Soon at nighttime, it was closing time at the Whale Wash of Northside Reef, and all of the employees head back to their homes and the customers head back to their homes as well. Joyce heads back to her own home, and she is still worried about what will happen when Hannah and Quincy willingly make a deal with Don Borovsky in order to save Northside Reef which is actually nothing but a ruse.
While she heads back home in complete nervousness about what's going to happen soon, she is suddenly met up by a salmon named Reuben who is the receptionist of the Whale Wash and a butterflyfish named Frieda who is the leader of the professional Whale Wash dental squad, and they are both a romantic couple and they are the longtime best friends of both Hannah and Quincy. They haven't noticed Hannah and Quincy working at the Whale Wash that day, and they both proceed to question their boss Joyce about their absence.
"Hey, Joyce." Reuben greeted.
"Oh, hello, Reuben and Frieda." Joyce greeted. "How was work today at the Whale Wash?"
"It was alright, and it was hard work as usual," said Frieda.
"I had to make a lot of phone calls and do a lot of paperwork at the receptionist office," said Reuben.
"And I had to be the leader of the dental squad, and my co-workers and I cleaned the customers' teeth like we're supposed to." said Frieda.
"Well, I'm the boss of this Whale Wash of this reef, and being the boss isn't that easy at all." said Joyce.
"So true. And speaking about working at the Whale Wash, where's Hannah and Quincy?" asked Reuben.
"Huh? What did you just say to me?" asked Joyce.
"Where's Hannah and Quincy? We haven't seen them all day today at work." said Frieda.
"Quincy would usually work scrubbing the customers' backs with the soap suds with his co-workers." said Reuben.
"And Hannah would usually work removing the slime off the customers' tongues along with her co-workers as well." said Frieda.
"Where are those two anyway? And we didn't even see them at work for the rest of the day yesterday either." said Reuben.
"Do you know where they are, Joyce?" asked Frieda.
"Well, actually…where Reuben and Frieda are at now is at one of the reefs of this ocean." answered Joyce.
"Is it Eastside Reef, the home of the famous baseball team the Eastside Mets?" asked Frieda. Joyce shook her head no.
"Are they at Westside Reef, you know, the place where hip hop music has been born?" asked Reuben. Joyce shook her head no again.
"They must be at Central Reef, where one of the most famous hip hop groups ever the Wu-Tang Clan are from?" asked Frieda. Joyce shook her head no again.
"Reuben, Frieda, it's actually Southside Reef, which is also known as the Big Sea Cucumber." said Joyce. "Hannah and Quincy are at Southside Reef right now."
"What are they doing at Southside Reef? Are they taking a vacation there?" asked Reuben.
"Nope. They've been sent there by you-know-who." explained Joyce. "Don Vladimir Borovsky of the silky shark mafia, and one of the most feared crime bosses in the ocean."
Frieda gasped in shock. "You mean they've been sent to that reef by Borovsky?" Joyce nodded her head yes. "But why have they been sent by him to go there?"
"Because…Because…Because those two made a deal with him and his mafia." explained Joyce."
"Wait a minute? They made a deal with Borovsky?" asked Reuben in shock. Joyce nodded her head yes. "But why? Why would they make a deal with him and his mafia?"
"'Cause they could do what's best for everybody in this reef." explained Joyce. "They agreed with them to bring some fishes who live at Southside Reef named Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina to them so Northside Reed could be spared from them and nobody wouldn't have to worry about them being a threat again, but it's actually nothing but a big fat lie 'cause they would end up going back on their word just like they did many times before when they have made deals with the others who live in this reef, and I am one of them."
Both Reuben and Frieda became filled with shock upon learning from Joyce that Hannah and Quincy has willingly made a deal with Don Borovsky and his silky shark mafia to bring them Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina once they have managed to find them at Southside Reef and bring them to them so Northside Reef would be safe from them while they are actually being tricked by them since they would go back on their word once they get what they want which has happened to many other citizens in Northside Reef. Also, since Hannah and Quincy are actually screwing things up rather than improving things for the reef, Joyce gets an idea to have a conversation with Don Borovsky that they shouldn't use Hannah and Quincy for his own gain just like he did to others many times from before.
"You know, we honestly can't believe that Hannah and Quincy made that deal with Borovsky and his mafia, and they have no idea what they're doing." said Reuben. "Also, we already know that you're one of those people who made a deal with them before so you could keep the Whale Wash safe, but you end up getting double-crossed by them and they wrecked it anyway."
"Hannah and Quincy are absolutely making a huge mistake, and they shouldn't make the same mistake like you did from before and those other people." said Frieda. "Making a deal with somebody like Borovsky is a mistake, and they're just gonna end up making things worse for everybody who lives in this reef and for themselves since they made the deal without using their common sense."
"There is no way Borovsky is gonna exploit both Hannah and Quincy for his plans while he is claiming that he and his mafia will spare the reef from harm," said Joyce. "So, I'm gonna see him at the RMS Republic tomorrow morning and tell him that he isn't gonna end up breaking his promise to them, and that he should just get what he wants and keep his part of the bargain he made with them."
"Well, that's a good idea, Joyce. And if you're gonna do that, you should come along with you." said Reuben.
"We can't do this by yourself 'cause you'll end up getting hurt somehow by them, and we'll give you back up just in case." said Frieda.
"Thank you very much, and I appreciate it. Now let's get to work tomorrow." said Joyce.
Reuben and Frieda both nodded their heads in agreement, and they and Joyce put their fins together and raise them up in the air just as they vow to get things straightened out and have a conversation with Don Borovsky that he shouldn't use Hannah and Quincy for his plans so he'll have a chance to double-cross them just like he double-crossed many people from before when he made deals with them. Also, Joyce hopes that everything will be alright since Hannah and Quincy has made a mistake of making a deal with Don Borovsky and his mafia in order to improve things for Northside Reef by making it safe which would only makes thing much worse in the process rather than making things better since it's nothing but a ruse to break their promise to them, and both Reuben and Frieda hope for the same thing as well.
The next day at the Whale Wash of Northside Reef, while the many employees are doing their hard work of cleaning the humpback whale customers and helping them out with taking good care of their person hygiene, Joyce prepares to leave the Whale Wash to head to the RMS Republic and have a conversation with Don Borovsky about making a deal with Hannah and Quincy along with Reuben and Frieda who have decided to help her out, before she could do so, she had another sturgeon fish named Grant who is her husband and serves as the co-manager of the Whale Wash to be in charge of the Whale Wash while she, Reuben, and Frieda heads to the RMS Republic which he agrees to do so while Reuben and one of her co-workers to fill in for him at the receptionist office and Frieda had one of her co-workers at the dental squad to fill in for her as the leader.
Joyce then leaves the Whale Wash along with Reuben and Frieda who will be backing her up, and she still hopes that everything will turn out to be alright while they still hope for the same thing just as they are all very nervous about the conversation they plan to have with Don Borovsky and his mafia. Meanwhile, at the RMS Republic, Don Borovsky is at the living room congratulating his consigliere Deirdre and his caporegime Isaac as well as the five members of his great white shark mafia for managing to rob a Splash Savings Bank and managing to steal a lot of money from there just as he counted up some of the money they stole on the table.
Don Borovsky quickly gets finished with counting up the money and he is about to have a conversation with his loyal henchmen about their plan to take over Southside Reef by overthrowing Don Lino and his great white shark mafia since they have been the ones who have been running the reef for so many years and will be capturing Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina in order to not have them interfering with their plans of taking over the reef since Oscar was the one who made a truce with Don Lino and helped him change his and his mafia as well as the other mafias of the Five Families ways for the better which saved the reef and made him a true hero.
However, before Don Borovsky could do so, his wife Praskovya suddenly interrupts him and informs him that Joyce has arrived at the RMS Republic along with Reuben and Frieda and wishes that he could have a conversation with him about the deal he made with Hannah and Quincy and she has told them to wait in his office, much to his surprise and shock since he has remembered that he used to have Joyce work for him and his mafia out of fear until he fired her and made a deal with her to spare the Whale Wash of Northside Reef unless she pay her protection money which was actually a ruse and wrecked it anyway. So, he agrees to see Joyce as well as Reuben and Frieda in his office, and he begins heading there along with Deirdre and Isaac as well as Praskovya.
In Don Borovsky's office, Joyce, Reuben, and Frieda are waiting for Don Borovsky to arrive there at the chairs that are right in front of his desk, and while they do so, they are very nervous just as they still hope everybody will turn out to be okay. Suddenly, Don Borovsky arrives at his office along with Deirde and Isaac as well as Praskovya, and he sits right behind his desk while his wife and his two minions sit on the couch together, and Joyce, Reuben, and Frieda begin having their conversation with Don Borovsky.
"So, look what we have here. It's the sturgeon fish who used to be a member of my mafia." said Don Borovsky. "You used to follow my orders so you wouldn't end up being the next main course until I threw you out of here and made you start paying me protection money."
"Yeah, I remember I used to work for you and your mafia, Borovsky, but not anymore 'cause you gave me the pink slip," said Joyce. "Honestly, I am through being a member of your mafia, and I still have a grudge against you for wrecking my and my husband Grant's Whale Wash even though I agreed to pay you protection money that you wouldn't do it, but you did anyway."
"What? I'm the Don of the silky shark mafia, and Dons can get to do whatever they want to." replied Don Borovsky. "Even if they decide to change their mind about their part of the bargains they made with others."
"Speaking about not keeping your part of the bargain, I know that you're up to it right now," said Joyce. "I know that you've made a deal with one of the employees who work at the Whale Wash named Hannah and Quincy that you and your mafia have promised to spare the reef from harm if you get some people named Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina who works at another Whale Wash in Southside Reef, but you're just gonna break your promise once you get what you want just like you've always had."
"Well, since you just said that, the answer is absolutely correct." said Don Borovsky. "Once I get what I want, I would no longer need Hannah and Quincy, and also, I would…" He suddenly became filled with surprise. "Hey, wait a minute, how did you know that I was gonna do that?"
"'Cause I've already figured it out, and I was one of those people you made a deal with and have outlived their usefulness," said Joyce. "Hannah and Quincy told me everything about the deal you made with them, and they're actually making a huge mistake 'cause of how you always go back on your word. I'm not gonna sit by and let you use them like this just like you used many people in the past, and my other employees of my and my husband's Whale Wash Reuben and Frieda know it as much as I do."
"Really? Is that true? You're not gonna let me use them at all?" asked Don Borovsky. Joyce nodded her head yes. "Well, how are you gonna do that then? You're just a little fish who owns the Whale Wash in this reef, and these two are employees of the Whale Wash that you own."
"Yeah, but that still doesn't mean we can stop you from exploiting Hannah and Quincy, Borovsky." said Frieda.
"How are we gonna do it is that we travel to Southside Reef and tell them that they shouldn't make the deal with you at all." said Reuben.
"That's right, we're gonna tell them that they shouldn't do it so they wouldn't be used," said Joyce. "I've tried to tell them that from before, but they wouldn't listen to me since they wanna help out this reef so much by bringing Oscar and those other people to you. So, I'm gonna try again to convince them that they shouldn't do it since it's gonna make things worse, not better."
"We're gonna do the same thing too, and there's no way your plan is gonna work," said Reuben.
"Actually, my plan is gonna work." replied Don Borovsky. "And you really accept that Hannah and Quincy are gonna believe what you say that I'm gonna go back on my word just like I usually would do? I don't think so 'cause they really wanna improve this reef so it would be safe from me and my mafia. Oh, and by the way, not only do I expect them to bring me Oscar and the others, I need them so I couldn't have them interfering with my plans."
"Wait a minute. What are you saying, Borovsky? What plan to do what?" asked Frieda.
"You really wanna know what my plan is? Are you sure about that?" asked Don Borovsky.
"Yes, we do. We would wanna know what it is since you already told us that you have a plan." said Joyce. "Well, what is it anyway."
"Alright, I'll tell you what it is," said Don Borovsky. "My plan is to attempt to take over Southside Reef by overthrowing the one who runs it which is Don Edward Lino of the great white shark mafia as well as being in charge of the other mafias of the Five Families while their own crime bosses are leading them."
Joyce gasps in complete shock. "You're…You're gonna try to take over Southside Reef by overthrowing Don Edward Lino who is one of the most feared crime bosses besides you? But why would you wanna do something like that?"
"'Cause of how Edward and his mafia had a change of heart, and how the rest of the Five Families had a change of heart as well." explained Don Borovsky. "You see, Edward and I have been best friends for so long and we've been very close to each other, and our own crime families has been very close to each other while we've been close to the other crime families of the Five Families, but our friendship became estranged with he and the others decided to make peace with Southside Reef."
"The reason why you're gonna do that is 'cause Don Lino and his mafia as well as the other mafias have made a truce with Southside Reef?" asked Reuben in surprise. "But why have they decided to do that anyway? They have been a threat to that reef just like you and your silky shark mafia has been a threat to this reef."
"Fish have always been afraid of sharks since they are predators, and sharks would usually kill and eat fish since they've always been their prey," said Frieda. "Why did Lino and his mafia as well as the rest of the Five Families begin getting along with everybody who lives in Southside Reef anyway?"
"So, you don't know the reason why things have changed in that reef, do you?" asked Don Borovsky. "Most people who live in this reef don't even know that either and some people know all about it, and it has been six months already when it happened. Why things have changed there is because of a little fish named Oscar who is a citizen there, and he claimed that he killed a shark which is one of Lino's kids and that he was a hero who slays sharks known as the Sharkslayer, but it turned out that it was a lie while he had a change of heart of his own since telling lies had serious consequences, and he helped Don Lino changed his ways and saved the reef where fish and sharks can live in harmony. So, that's why things have changed there six months ago."
Upon hearing what Don Borovsky has explained to them six months ago, Joyce became filled with complete surprise by how Oscar has lied about killing one of Don Lino's children and pretended to be the Sharkslayer until he learned from his mistakes when he realized that he shouldn't pretend to be something that he's not and how he managed to get Don Lino as well as his mafia and the other mafias of the Five Families to change their ways for the better by making peace with the citizens of Southside Reef which saved the reef. Also, it made them realize that Hannah and Quincy need to learn what happened six months ago once they learned it from Don Borovsky so they won't end up making their mistake of making a deal with him and his silky shark mafia to make things change for the better in Northside Reef.
"Whoa. We never knew that Don Lino, his mafia, and the rest of the Five Families had a change of heart six months ago." said Joyce. "We honestly can't believe it, and what Oscar did made him a true hero and I honestly think that fish and sharks getting along with each other is a good idea. It was really amazing that Oscar has saved Southside Reef by making peace with Lino and his mafia as well as the other mafias of the Five Families, and he really did the right thing." Reuben and Frieda both nodded their heads in agreement.
"Well, you guys think that it's a good idea that fish and sharks should get along with each other, but my mafia and I don't think it's a good idea." said Don Borovsky.
"What? Why don't you think so?" asked Joyce. "What are you talking about? That has been one of the best things that has ever happened in this ocean."
"'Cause we honestly think that it's such a ridiculous idea, and there's no way fish and sharks can ever get along with each other." said Don Borovsky. "Even though Edward and his mafia as well as the rest of the Five Families have decided to make peace with Southside Reef all because of what Oscar did, there are still most sharks in the ocean who are still following their usual traditions of being killers, and that's us. So, since everything has changed Southside Reef which caused my friendship with Edward to become estranged, my mafia and I will run it while we'll continue to run Northside Reef."
"Not if we go to Southside Reef and tell Hannah and Quincy your plans to take it over by overthrowing Lino," said Joyce. "Also, we're gonna tell Oscar and the others about your plans as well since he was the one who made peace with him which saved the reef."
"You and your mafia won't succeed in taking over Southside Reef." said Reuben.
"Yeah, and we won't let you get away with this," said Joyce.
Joyce, Reuben, and Frieda then got out of their seats and attempt to leave Don Borovsky's office in order to head to Southside Reef and inform Hannah and Quincy about his and his silky shark mafia plan to take over Southside Reef by overthrowing Don Lino and his great white shark mafia and capturing Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina so they won't have to interfering at all since Oscar made a truce with Don Lino right after he learned from his mistakes and helped him learn from his own mistakes as well, and that they wouldn't end up making the mistake of making a deal with Don Borovsky and his mafia since Southside Reef has changed for the better six months ago.
However, before they could leave the office to do what they intended on doing, Don Borovsky signaled both Deirdre and Isaac to prevent them leaving his office by clapping his fins, and they obeyed their boss' orders and they quickly blocked the exit from them. Then, Deirdre and Isaac restrain Joyce, Reuben, and Frieda by Deirde tangling both Reuben and Frieda in her tentacles and Isaac wrapping Joyce around in his fins, and they attempt to escape from them, but they are unable to do so.
"Actually, we will be getting away with this, and we're gonna get away with it soon," said Don Borovsky. "Deirde, Isaac, take these fish away so they won't ruin our plans of the silky sharks that will be running Southside Reef in the place of the great white sharks, and we'll have Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina soon once Hannah and Quincy will bring them to me. Also, once we'll get what we want, they'll outlive their usefulness. Now take them away, and lock them up."
Deirdre and Isaac both follow Don Borovsky's orders, and they proceed to carry Joyce, Reuben, and Frieda out of his office and began taking them to the place where they will be imprisoned so they won't be able to head to Southside Reef and warn Hannah and Quincy about his and his mafia's plans. Soon, they take them to another part of the RMS Republic where they throw them inside a dark and decrepit room where it has been used by the mafia to lock up the some of the citizens of Northside Reef they have manage to capture to make them the catch of the day, and they lock them inside of it. Once they are locked inside, they hope that they would somehow escape and warn Hannah and Quincy of Don Borovsky and his mafia's plans of taking over Southside Reef as well as warn Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina about it, and in order to prevent them from making their mistake.
Later on that day, after Joyce, Reuben, and Frieda has been imprisoned so they won't be able to foil Don Borovsky and his mafia's plans, Don Borovsky began having a meeting with some of the members of his silky shark mafia as well as his wife Praskovya, his two children Pavel and Rimma, and his two henchmen Deirdre and Isaac in the meeting room of the RMS Republic where they would have conversations about the crimes they have committed in Northside Reef, and right now, they are having a conversation about their plan to take over Southside Reef, and that he has just came up with an idea to put their plan in motion by doing the first part of it.
"So, we've all gathered here today to discuss what we're planning, and it's being able to run Southside Reef." said Don Borovsky. "The reason why we've decided to take it over is 'cause my own best friend Don Lino and his mafia has decided to make a truce with the reef right after Oscar told the truth which was the right thing to do when he learned from his mistakes of lying to everybody, and it downright unbelievable because fish and sharks can never be friends. Ever."
"The silkies will be running Southside Reef soon once Hannah and Quincy bring Oscar and the others to us," said Praskovya. "And the great whites will no longer be running it once we take it over with their help, and their help will no longer be in use of us once they have have fulfilled their part of the bargain while we won't fulfill our part of the bargain since we've always committed crimes in Northside Reef and it's gonna stay that way."
"That's right, and while we're using Hannah and Quincy for the plan to take over Southside Reef, we're gonna have some fun during the plan," said Don Borovsky. "That kind of fun is going to send some of the members of my mafia to Southside Reef so they could bring an attack there. They're gonna attack the ones who live in that reef and let them know that we'll be the ones running that reef from now on since Edward and his mafia has made a truce with them all because of Oscar who had a change of heart and told everybody the truth that the Sharkslayer was nothing but a complete fake in the first place."
"Hey, that would be so much, Papa." said Pavel. "And it's a good idea to let the citizens of that reef know that the silkies will be running it instead of the great whites who have begun getting along with them. But since we're gonna unleash an attack on Southside Reef during the plan of taking over it with Hannah and Quincy's help while we're just using them for our own person gain, how are we gonna do that without even letting them know that at all since we've sent them to get Oscar and the others for us when you made that deal with them?"
"Yeah, Papa, we can't let them know that the silkies are gonna attack Southside Reef just for fun during the plan." said Rimma. "There has to be a way that they can't notice about the attack on the reef, and if they knew, then they're gonna figure out what we're up to and decide to call off of bringing Oscar and the others to them. And if that happens, then we won't be able to carry out our plan of taking over Southside Reef by overthrowing Don Lino and his mafia. So, what are we gonna do about it anyway?"
"I'm gonna tell you what we're gonna do, Pavel and Rimma." said Don Borovsky. "We're just gonna send some of the members of my mafia to Southside Reef before Hannah and Quincy arrive there, and it only takes three days straight for them to arrive since that reef is only three days away from Northside Reef. So, they won't have a chance to notice the attack and they will continue carrying out their part of the bargain. Does that make sense?"
"You're right, Vladimir, and it absolutely makes sense." said Praskoyva. "While Hannah and Quincy are traveling to Southside Reef to find Oscar and the others for us so they could bring them to us, your mafia could bring the attack on that reef without being noticed by them so the plan of taking it over could be successful. Besides, they took one of the fish buses to head to that reef which takes exactly three days to arrive there, and the silky sharks can take the shortcut to Southside Reef which takes exactly thirty minutes."
"Also, some people are aware of the shortcut to Southside Reef in Northside Reef, and we're one of those people." said Don Borovsky. "We'll launch the attack on Southside Reef tonight, and the members of my mafia can use the shortcut to get there faster so Hannah and Quincy won't have a chance to notice it and they could continue to carry out their part of the bargain while we're just using them to get what we want. Deirdre and Isaac, I want you to lead some of the mobsters of my mafia, and do the best you can to attack that reef."
"Yes, Boss, we'll make sure of it." said Deirdre.
And we're gonna have so much fun doing so." said Isaac.
"Now let's get started on this already." said Don Borovsky. "Oh, and by the way, since we now got Joyce who used to work for me until I fired her as well as her two employees, we need to make sure that they won't escape and ruin our plans by going to Southside Reef and telling Hannah and Quincy as well as Oscar and the others about it. Pavel, Rimma, I want you and some of the mobsters of my mafia to make sure they don't escape."
"Sure thing, Papa, and they won't escape that easily," said Pavel.
"We'll do the best we can to do so, and you can count on us," said Rimma.
"Alright. Now let's do it everybody." said Don Borovsky.
Later on, Don Borovsky and the members of his silky shark mafia began carrying out their plans of taking over Southside Reef by having some of the silky shark mobsters to head to the reef to attack it and it's citizens in order to let them know that they will be running it once they have overthrown Don Lino and his great white shark mafia without letting Hannah and Quincy noticing the attack so they could be able to continue to keep their part of the bargain by bringing them Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina so they won't have any interfering from them at all. Also, they remember that if their plan of using Hannah and Quincy has failed, then they will do their back-up plan of capturing them themselves as well as capturing Lenny and Teresa.
On the deck of the RMS Republic, Don Borovsky, his wife Praskovya, and their two children Pavel and Rimma sends seven members of the silky shark mafia as well as Deirdre and Isaac to Southside Reef by using the shortcut which some of the citizens of Northside Reef are completely aware of in order to attack it, and while they do so, Don Borovsky informs them that if they see Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina there somehow, then they can capture them anyway during the attack, and if they fail doing so, they can allow Hannah and Quincy to continue to carry out their part of the bargain while they are still using them. They agree to do so, and then they leave the RMS Republic and begin heading to Southside Reef by using the shortcut in order to attack it under his and his family's orders.
While the members of the mafia as well as Deirdre and Isaac began heading to Southside Reef to carry out the plan to attack it as well as somehow capture Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina if they find them and would allow Hannah and Quincy to bring them to their boss and the mafia if they failed doing so, Pavel, Rimma, and some of the members of the mafia began guarding the dark and decrepit room where Joyce, Reuben, and Frieda are being imprisoned in so they could prevent them from making their escape and warning Hannah and Quincy about their father and his mafia's plan, and just as they are, Joyce, Reuben, and Frieda still hopes to find a way to escape and warn Hannah and Quincy about their plan somehow.
Soon, Praskovya gives some more of the members of the silky shark mafia on orders to keep Joyce, Reuben, and Frieda imprisoned in order to prevent them from escaping along with Pavel, Rimma, and the other silky shark mobsters, and while she does so, Don Borovsky swam throughout one of the hallways for a moment and arrive at his and his wife's bedroom where he starred out at the window while he still intends on carrying out his and his mafia's plan to take over Southside Reef by overthrowing Don Lino and his mafia, and he hopes that some of the members of his mafia would succeed in attacking the reef as well as capturing Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina while Hannah and Quincy would succeed in their part of the deal if the mobsters fail on doing so.
While he starred out at the window, Don Borovsky suddenly notices a photo frame that is on a drawer table that is right next to his and his wife's bed, and he picks it up and it shows him, his wife, and their two children when they used to be young silky shark pups along with Don Lino, his wife Mildred, and their three children Frankie, Lenny, and Teresa when they used to be young great white shark pups which is during the very first sit-down of the great white shark mafia and the silky shark mafia at the RMS Titanic many years ago. The photo frame of them with their families during the sit-down shows how much he and Don Lino had a very close friendship with each other, even when they first met each other at the very first sit-down.
Don Borovsky stared at the photo frame for a moment, and then he quickly remembered how much he values his close friendship with Don Lino even though it became strained when he and his mafia as well the other mafias of the Five Families have made a truce with Southside Reef and changed their ways for the better right after Oscar did the right thing and finally told the truth while he has managed to save the reef which made him a truce hero. While he warmly embraced the photo frame, Praskovya gets finished with giving some of the silky shark mobsters orders, and she quickly notices her husband embracing the photo frame and notices how much he values his close friendship with Don Lino even though it has became estranged, much to her surprise.
"So, Vladimir, you still enjoy having Edward as your best friend? Do you?" asked Praskovya.
"Yes, Praskovya, and having a friendship with him is one of the best things that has ever happened to me." said Vladimir.
"Well, if that's true, then I guess that you still wanna be friends with him even though what happened six months ago." said Praskovya. "You still wanna be friends with him right after he, his mafia, and the other mafias of the Five Families began getting along with the citizens of Southside Reef all because of what Oscar did after he told the truth that he was neve really a Sharkslayer in the first place. Are you sure about that?"
"Actually, I…I…I don't know if I still wanna be friends with him, Praskovya." answered Don Borovsky. "We've been best friends for so long and we've been very close to each other, but we weren't that close that much since he and his mafia as well as the other mafias of the Five Families had made peace with Southside Reef which me, you, and my mafia thinks it's really ridiculous for fish and sharks to be friends since fish has always been prey to the sharks and the sharks has always been the predator to fish. I honestly don't know if our friendship would be close again if this kind of thing continues in that reef, and maybe it would be if he realized that it was so foolish to make a truce with that reef."
"Then let me know when you've made your decision if you still wanna be friends with Don Lino, and hopefully he will realize that he made a foolish decision," said Praskovya. "Also, let's continue to carry out the plan together."
Don Borovsky nodded his head in agreement, and he continues to embrace the photo of him and his family along with Don Lino and his family during the first sit-down on the silkies and the great whites just as he still valued his friendship with him even though it has became estranged due to the truce of the Southside Reef and the Five Families which he and his mafia views it to be very ridiculous even though it has changed things for the better after Oscar learned from his mistakes and told the truth which was the right thing to do, and he continues his and his mafia's plan of taking over Southside Reef while Praskovya felt greatly concerned about him since he still values his friendship with Don Lino just as she comforted him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
