Freedom sat on the chair, draped in a blanket with a warm cup of cocoa. His eyes were red and puffy from the tears. Juniper was cleaning the dishes to give Freedom some space and time to calm down. Her head was still taking in the information that Freedom gave her, She still remembered removing the fabric hiding him, seeing the wounds and gashes on him...but she kept it inside to place her focus on Freedom. She couldn't imagine how the Patriot felt about his first friend of the Guardians vanishing. Right now through, Juniper needed to try and contact the others, while also making sure Freedom was safe from this new foe, Sinous, he had said.
Juniper: I pray you all are safe.
She sighed, placing the last dish on the dish-rack and heading back into the other room where Freedom was. He looked so tired, then again she had been told by Freedom himself that he had not sleep in days. Juniper sat next to him, giving him a gentle hug to not irritate the wrapped wounds.
Juniper: Freedom, it's going to be okay. Ash and the others are strong,
Freedom wearily smiled. His eyes were tired after letting all of that stress, worry, and sorrow out. Juniper felt him lean on her, allowing his fatigue to take over with the feeling of safety and comfort.
Knocks on the door
Juniper looked up at the door.
Juniper: Stay here Freedom.
He nodded slowly as Juniper cautiously went to the door, opening it a bit. She gasped as she flung it opened and embraced Jack, who returned it ten fold as they both were relief and happy to see eachother.
Juniper: OH JACK!
Jack: Thank goodness your alright Jun.
She nodded as the hug broke and she eyed the Patriot Rusher, Jack sighing as the others appeared behind him.
Jack: And Freedom is here too.
Liberty: He-He looks exhausted...
Juniper nodded.
Juniper: Emotionally, he's worried about Ash and with being on the run he just needed someone to cry on.
Jessica: That's understandable.
The Rusherz went over, gentle comforting their friend whose tears was falling in relief seeing them alright.
Juniper: Did they tell you-
Stephen: Yeah, they did. Sinous has been tracking them down too, nearly got Peck if not for Joseph.
Juniper eye rose at that.
Juniper: Is that why he's in his armor?
Joseph: Got stuck in it. Side effect to taking and shielding a blast.
Swoop: We were repaired for a situation like this before hand so-
Juniper nodded in understanding. It was then one her NFLR that Traitor appeared on the screen.
Traitor: Lady Juniper, thank goodness we have found you...I have news regarding the missing six Guardians.
Alex: What is it?
Traitor: I and Amp have managed to find them...they have escaped. We had informed Arron and Warren of this new update.
Freedom eyes widen as the others smiled grew wide.
Freefall: T-They escaped?!
Jack: I feel a 'But' coming...
Traitor: Not a bad 'But'...But, well, we can't seem to contact them, only locate them.
Joseph: Where are they?
Mt. Fuji bottom...
Troy: *Relief* AT LAST! FINALLY!
The six panted in relief and exhaustion. They had to travel down the mountain for hours on end till they finally reached the bottom at last.
Ish: We-We-We made it.
Ash: Y-yea-Yeah...that was exhausting.
Tua: Least we made it. Now we need to-
They were spotted by a guard who went over. It was confusing at first as the Guard tried to question them and the NFLRs not giving them a boost on the language for Japan, till-
?: Wait, -coughs- their with me.
Ish felt tears in his eyes as he peered behind the guard to see Bolt, patched up and sunglasses missing.
Ish: BOLT!
The next thing Bolt knew he was tackled into a hug by Ish, who returned the hug after a moment to collected himself.
Bolt: H-Hey I-Ish...
Bolt inwardly sighed in relief seeing his friends alright and safe from wherever they were taken to.
Ish: Thank goodness your alright...but what are you doing here?
Bolt nodded as the hug broke.
Bolt: I'll explain everything once we get to the hospital.
That got them all worried.
Ricky: H-Hospital...
Bolt sadly nodded his head, the Guardians seeing some tears pricked his eyes.
Bolt: Y-Yeah...one moment.
Bolt talked to the guard, who nodded and lead the group onto the pathway.
Hospital...
Bolt: -And that's what happened...
They exited the elevator as Bolt finished what had happened.
Ish: That's-This is alot to take in. So this Sinous is the reason for all of this?
Bolt nodded slowly as they reached a room door.
Marty: Bolt...you still have not answered our question, Whose in the hospital?
Bolt sighed.
Bolt: Well, remembered what i told you about what happened at Meadowland Stadium...Turns out, Sinous had a backup plan..
Bolt had a tear fall from his eyes as he slowly opened the door to a room...and the Guardians heart broke seeing who was one life support and monitors.
Ash: O-Oh no...
Bolt: It's-the doctor say i-it's a miracle he's still alive...
Ish was the one who slowly went over and gently touched his shoulder...
Ish: S-Soar...
Soar slowly half open his eyes, wearily looking at them.
Soar: *Raspy;weak* Your-alright...
