Bold Itslics: Diana and Clark flashback

Italics- Diana Flashback

Clark gasp as his eyes shot open and he looks at the clock.

8:20 am

More or less of 40 minutes? That's enough time to get ready but not enough time to talk.

He looks over to the sleeping beauty beside him. He can't help but smile and caress her cheek. Diana lets out a low groan. He chuckles and kisses her lightly before getting up out of bed to take a shower.

After about 10 minutes, Diana's eyes flutter open. She sighs and sits up. She looks around the room and covers herself more with the bed sheet.

"Morning, Di."

She looks up and smile shyly. "Morning, Kal." She breathes out slowly. He only has a towel wrapped around his waist. His body is glistening, drops of water, ran down his chest. She curses herself for the thoughts suddenly running through her mind.

"Hey, are you okay?" He walks over to her and sits on the edge of the bed.

"Yes. But I don't mean to cause you to be late for work."

"Nah, I can spare a few minutes, especially for you."

Clark leans over and kisses her tenderly. Diana slowly deepens the kiss.

Gods it feels so right...feels so good but it's so wrong and risky. Clark and Diana are colleagues, partners on the battle field and best friends. However, the last couple of months have been...complicated. It's addicting and they can't stop.

Diana trusts Clark but scared of moving to that next level of a relationship, scared of those deep feelings that have agitated her for so long.

"Clark, you have to go," Diana says pulling away.

He glance at the clock. 8:45 am.

Clark smirks and using his super speed, he got dressed. After tying his tie, he opens his nightstand drawer getting something out of it.

"Here, Di."

He takes her hand and places what he had in her hand.

Diana looks down. It's a key.

"Clark?"

"Spare key. You can stay for as long as you like. Get more sleep." He kisses her again. "I'll see you, later."

Before Diana can respond, he quickly leaves out.

She lays back down on her side and hugs his pillow, breathing in his scent. Thinking about it all and how it led up to this point, she feels really bad. She knows what Clark wants and she wants it too but can't let the wall completely down just yet.

WatchTower (training room)

Diana was beyond pissed. She busted the punching bag with a kick. She took out her sword about to slice one of the dummies in half.

"Diana! Stop!"

Clark grabbed her wrist.

"Let me go."

"Put the sword down, Diana, and talk to me."

"I don't need to talk. I don't want to talk. I'm done trying to talk!"

She tried loosening his grip and yank away but he held on.

"Diana. Talk to me."

She let out a deep dramatic sigh and dropped her sword.

Clark loosened his grip as she turned around to face him.

"I take it the meeting with the Amazons and the Gods didn't go so well."

She rolled her eyes and looked down. Clark lifted up her chin then caressed her cheek.

"I'm tired," she whispered tears welling up in her eyes.

Diana never tried to show her emotions in front of anyone. She always tried to hold it all in and deal with it alone. But Clark made her feel that she could let it all go. She could open up to him and he was always there to comfort her.

Clark embraced her. Still holding her, he sat on the floor and pulled her to sit on his lap. He cradled her and she laid her head on his shoulder, burying her face in his neck.

"It's going to be okay, Diana."

"Clark, this has been an on going battle for years, I thought I could change them for the better but things seem to get worse."

"I know but you never give up on anything. So don't on this. It will get better."

"How do you know?"

"I know you."

Diana raised up her head slightly to look at him and smiled.

"There it is."

"What?"

"That beautiful smile." Clark smiled as well and caressed her cheek his thumb lightly brushing over her lips.

"You always say that."

"Because it's true."

They stared at each other for a moment in silence.

Diana's heart picked up pace. She looked away and stared at the punching bag with the sand still spilling out.

"I need to clean that up," she said as she stood up.

Clark was awe-strucked watching her but he quickly snapped out of his daze and stood up as well.

"Wait, Di..." He took her hand and pulled her back into an embrace.

She closed her eyes and exhaled.

Pulling away, Diana bit her bottom lip. She picked up her sword and walked over to place it against the wall.

She smirks feeling Clark close behind her.

"Kal, I'm fine now. I-" she paused turning around and seeing how close he really was. "Oh."

Not saying another word, he kissed her and backed her against the wall. Diana was surprised at first and tensed up but then relaxed and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Clark slowly rubbed her sides, making her moan into his mouth.

She arched her back against him, giving him access to her bodysuit zipper and he slowly started unzipping it.

Breaking their kiss, Clark kissed down her neck. Diana closed her eyes and let out another moan.

She gasped when her body suit fell to the floor, leaving her only in her strapless bra and underwear.

Clark's suit started to degenerate.

They stood there both half naked staring at each other. They honestly, didn't give a damn at the moment where they were. They didn't know exactly what to say either but they knew exactly what they wanted and what they were about to do.

Clark kissed her again passionately and unhooked her bra, letting it fall as well. He cupped her breasts, slightly bending, taking one into his mouth and massaging the other.

"Clark..."

He switch giving the other the same pleasurable attention. He slowly kneeled down, still leaving a trail of kisses down her body before he got to the hem of her underwear.

He looked up at her pulling them down her legs. Taking them off completely, he hooked her right leg over his shoulder. He kissed and licked up her inner thigh, slowly teasing his way close to her center.

She threw her head back and gasped as she felt his warm tongue against her. She reached down and ran her fingers through his hair.

She bit down on her lip trying not to let out a loud cry.

She gripped his hair more, pushing his head closer against her. She pushed herself against his mouth, lost in the sensation of his warm lips sliding across her as his tongue kept at pleasing her, mercilessly licking, lightly sucking all around her very core.

"Dear, Gods!" She arched her back further. "Kal!"

She tried to maintain her breathing, but she was too overwhelmed with pleasure.

Once he lapped up her sweet essence, and was quite satisfied, he moved her leg, standing back up and kissed a trail up the middle of her breast and to her lips, capturing them in another passionate kiss.

Clark planted his hand against the wall and Diana draped her toned leg around his waist. She cried out as he slid the tip of him between her. She placed her arms around his neck.

They both let out a gasp as he pushed, finally, into her soaking wetness surrounding him with tight heat and he buried his face into her neck, groaning as he thrust into her again and again, bracing against the wall, feeling nothing but her warm, slick center surrounding him, clenching him, tightening around him with every thrust.

Diana's head thrown back against the wall, his lips on her throat. Her breathless voice turning him on.

"Kal, gods yes..." she gripped his shoulders.

Clark pinned her hand to the wall with his own, entwining their fingers. Diana bucked against him, meeting his every thrust, both of them grunting and gasping in sync with their rhythm.

They pressed their foreheads against one another's, their heart racing and breathes ragged. Diana captured his mouth with hers, kissing him softly as he slowed his movements more, pushing deeper and harder.

Diana threw her head back again and dug her nails into his back. Her abdomen coiled tighter and tighter as she neared her peak. She cried out, and leaned her head down, biting his shoulder to muffle her scream as he brought her to her thundering end.

She came in forceful, powerful waves of ecstasy again and again.

Clark watched her, getting aroused even more at the sight of her losing control, knowing he had brought her there. He couldn't take his eyes off of her.

As Diana was coming down from her high, she felt him tense, sensing his release was near.

Clark rammed into her making her arch her back.

"Diana," he whispered her name against her throat as he came hard, releasing into her for what seemed like endless moments.

They closed their eyes and relaxed to catch their breath. Then shared one more passionate kiss.

Diana finally decides to get out of bed, making it up and putting her clothes on.

It was suppose to be just that one time. They didn't know what possessed them to act so impulsively that day but there was absolutely no regret at all. It was actually one of the most amazing moments they had ever experienced. However, with everything that was going on, it was not the right time to try to serious relationship...if that's even were this was leading to. They crossed a line that shouldn't have been crossed, putting their friendship at risk.

They mutually decided to just stay friends, be professional...but that agreement fell by the wayside fast time and time again. Being so close as partners, being together alone most of the time, one thing led to another. And with every hug and kiss, they were snatching every bit of strength of control they had. They couldn't get enough of each other.

It wasn't just physical between them. It was this mental and emotional connection. It was a deep need and want being filled, but both of them were having this internal battle between their minds and their hearts. It was so unfair and this just couldn't do.

They couldn't fight off the inevitable and it could easily be turning into a heart-breaking situation.

With time, Clark was slowly breaking down all of her defenses. Diana couldn't and wouldn't lie, she knew deep down, no other man could make her feel what she felt. Couldn't give her that kind of love and understanding she longed for like Clark does.

Diana leaves out Clark's apartment and locks the door. She sighs and holds on to his key tightly.

Walking into her condominium, she takes off her clothes and gets into the shower. She sighes as the hot water ran down her body. She could still feel his touch.

Apart of her couldn't stand the fact that she was so into him. No matter how hard she tried to keep her mind off Clark, it was just too difficult. She couldn't help it. What else could be said? She found herself falling in love with him even more. She cared about him so much and didn't want to ever lose him. She knew that he felt the same about her.

Daily Planet

After the meeting, Clark didn't want to stay at the office.

"Yo, CK? Where are you going?"

"Interview, remember?"

"Oh right with that new business owner that got that big settlement. Uhh...what's his name?"

"Mr. Grady."

"Yeah...um? Dude, what's up with you?"

"Nothing, just got a lot of work to do and need to take care of something personal."

"Want to talk about it?"

"Nah, nah, it's fine." Clark picks up his jacket and laptop bag. "See ya, Jim."

Clark sighs walking to the elevator.

"Why is Kent being such a Debby Downer?" Lois asks Jimmy walking up to him. "Where is he going?"

"He got that interview with Mr. Gardy. But he also said whatever is going on is personal."

Lois shakes her head and scuffs. "It's always personal with him. Whatever. Come on, I have my own interview to get to with Luthor."

2 nights prior...

Clark and Diana stumbled into Diana's condo ripping each other's clothes off. There was no way thy could make it to the bedroom. Diana pushed him down on the sofa and straddled him. She gasped and threw her head back as she lowered herself onto him.

"Kal."

"Diana."

She leaned over to whisper in his ear. "You don't know what you are doing to me."

He smirked making her hips move faster.

They made each other feel so good. All the world drama, negativity...the stress they felt, seemed to go away and time seemed to stop when they were together.

They satisfied each other's cravings. Set each other's body on fire. Even if there was an attempt to try to pull away and distant themselves, they knew the right ways to pull each other right back and closer than before.

Mount Olympus

"Oh here she comes. What's wrong, little sister?" Strife teases. "You should be extremely happy with that immortal lover of yours. So much fire between you two. I've never seen anything like that."

"Shut it, Strife! I'm not in the mood for games."

"Well let me just say this..." she smirks. "When you are done, I'll give him a go."

Diana draws her sword and pointed it at her. "If you dare lay a hand on him, I'll-"

"You'll what? Kill me? You can't."

Diana glares.

"Calm down, he is all yours."

"Yes. Remember that. He is mine."

"That's enough!" Hera says loudly walking in. "Strife, leave."

Strife smiles. "Toodles, little sister. Tell your lover I said hello as well," she teases again.

"Strife!"

"I'm leaving. I'm leaving."

Hera sighs dramatically. "Tell me, child, what is bothering you?"

"It's about him. Both of us...us being together."

Hera only nods understanding.

Later, Watch Tower

Superman stands with his arms folded looking at the monitoring screen with Batman.

"Are you going to tell her or will you keep procrastinating?"

Clark quirks his eye brow. "It's complicated."

"Selina and I are complicated."

"So you and Selina are serious now?"

"Don't try to change the subject."

Clark sighs. "I'll talk to her tonight."

After a while, Superman leaves the Watch Tower and goes home. On his way, he calls Diana but she doesn't answer.

Diana leaves Olympus and goes straight home. She didn't realize time had passed so fast and it is so late. But, she was grateful for the talk she had with Hera and had to make a decision.

When she gets home, she notice she left her phone with Clark's apartment key on the table.

She picks up her phone and sees she had a missed call from Clark. She calls him back.

"Hey, Di."

"Kal, I'm sorry I missed you earlier. I was speaking with Hera."

"It's no problem at all. I just wanted to ask...I know it's last minute and really late but can we meet at the park? I just want to talk but this needs to be in person."

"Oh of course."

"I'll be there in an hour."

"Ok, Kal, I'll see you then."

11:00 pm, Hyde Park

Clark flew down to a remote area of the park, where there was a beautiful full view of the full moon.

He might have gotten there a little earlier than expected. Waiting for Diana, he couldn't sit or stand still. He paced back and forth.

"How can I tell her?" he asks himself out loud.

"Tell me what?" he hears a voice from behind ask.

He turns around and sees that it's Diana.

"Hey," he smiles.

"Hey," she smiles back. "So what did you want to tell me?" she asks again getting closer to him.

Clark takes a deep breath.

"We've um...you know things been a lot different between us for the last couple of months."

"Yes..."

"Well..." Clark chuckles nervously. "This is harder to say than I thought." He sighs. "Diana, I need to know what step do we need to take. Do we move forward together and make this official? Do we keep it this way...but for how much longer or let it all go?"

Her heart jumps. "Kal I…"

"What has happened between us, I know it's more than what we're doing now. It's much more deeper, right?" he interrogates.

"It's..."

"What is it?" Clark takes her hand.

"It's complicated, Clark. I don't know."

"I've thought about it, and to me, Diana, it's not hard. All I need is a yes or a no."

"I do have feelings for you but you already knew that."

"But I wanted to hear it from you. I want to try, Diana. Give us a real chance."

"Kal, if we take that chance, we can't go back."

"I wouldn't want to. Our first time together has already changed so much. Diana...I...I love you."

Her heart skips a beat. She knew that was coming sooner or later.

"Do you really? Or is it because we've been sleeping together. There's a fine line between lust and love, Clark."

He frowns. "You think I don't know the difference? Diana, you know what my feelings have been for you long before we started sleeping together. Many times I wanted to tell you but it wasn't the right time. Help me understand why it's so hard for you to tell me how you really feel," he says pleadingly.

Tears start to form in her eyes. "If something goes wrong, I don't want our relationship as partners, colleagues and best friends to be tarnished."

"You know neither one of will let that happen."

Diana shakes her head."I've never felt like this before."

"What do you mean? Like what?" he asks trying to look at her in the eye but she keeps breaking eye contact. "Tell me, Di."

"Clark, of all this time of being in Man's World, there's no other man I can see myself opening up to like I have with you...that can make me feel what I feel for you. The thoughts I have because of you I-" Diana turns her back to him and hugs herself. "I never thought this would happen," she says softly. "Apart of me...is a little afraid of it."

"There is nothing to be afraid of," he whispers and wraps his arms around her waist. "And since when have you been afraid of anything?"

"This is much different and bigger than the battles we are used to."

"That doesn't matter. We've never backed down from anything. We won't with this...especially not this." He kisses the side of her neck. "I love you." He says more sternly.

He pulls her closer to him. Her back up against his chest. "Just listen to me," he pleads. He holds her tighter as if he didn't want to let go.

She turns around to face him. "I'm listening."

"I want all of you, Diana and that means your heart," he says. "I promise you, I will protect you. Even when you feel like you don't need me to. It will be one hell of a challenge for us but it's nothing we can't go through and face together."

Diana puts her arms around his neck. "You've always had my heart, Kal," she confesses allowing a few tears to drip down her face. "Hera helped me realize from the moment we met, deep down I knew you would be the man I would fall for. These feelings are still so new to me. But I do want to be with you."

His hand came up to her face and wipes away the tears.

"I love you, Kal."

Clark smiles. "Hearing you say that is like hearing a heavenly chorus." He pulls her into a loving embrace.

Their lips met in a passionate kiss.

When they pull apart, Diana smiles.

"Make love to me, Clark."

"Right now?"

Diana nods slowly. "Yes right here, right now."

Diana falls into pure bliss when their lips meet again. Clark lifts her up, wrapping her legs around his waist as he kneels down. He lays her down gently on the soft grass.

As they continue to kiss, Clark runs his hand slowly up and down her thighs. He places a soft kiss on the crook of her neck. She feels his hand go further up her thigh and unbutton her shorts.

Diana unbuttons his shirt and slowly takes it off of him.

Clark breaks their kiss pulling Diana's shirt off over her head and pulled her shorts slowly down her legs.

Diana moan as he kisses her neck, then her shoulder, gradually removing her underwear and bra, kissing every part he exposed. He rubs his hands up and down her body, his fingertips paying special attention to the concaves beneath her breasts.

Diana arches her back to close any space between them and she moan loudly as he squeezes one of her breasts unexpectantly. Clark takes the opportunity of her momentary weakness to snake his tongue through her parted lips and into her mouth. Their tongues entwine together in a fiery dance of passion.

Clark swiftly takes of his pants along with his boxers. Finally, he reaches her succulent breasts. His tongue circled around the nipple of her left breast before taking the whole into his bent sucked and teased, biting playfully.

Diana moans in bliss while he sucks and nibbles and his free hand slowly massaging her other breast. She wraps her fingers through his silky locks and arches her back further, wanting him to take more of her. When Clark is satisfied he switches sides giving her other breast the same pleasurable treatment.

Diana's hands venture down his toned chest, feeling each strong muscle and lightly raked her nails across them, tracing the contours of them. Her efforts earns her a low throaty growl of pleasure from Clark which vibrates through her body causing her to moan in turn.

Continuing down, lips came over her stomach and and his hands stroked her thighs and her rear. His hands rub up and down between her smooth legs.

She gasp in pleasure as her body became hotter.

"Kal..." she sighs.

His tongue licks her crevice going over her slowly starting slowly but applying pressure with every kiss.

Diana's head fell back, and her body open, unwinding. She pleads, though the desire was coming faster, and as spasms touched the muscles threaded through her core his intimate caresses only became more demanding.

Diana's breath starts coming quicker and shorter, the molten weight pushing for her orgasm.

"Oh..." she breathes out slowly and bites her bottom lip.

Clark comes back up on top of Diana; ready at her entrance. He kisses her softly as he slowly pushes inside of her slowly getting deeper and deeper, feeling he felt her warmth wash over him.

Diana close her eyes and wraps her arms tightly around his neck. Clark buries his faces against her neck as he moves.

The pressure building up, Diana compels it, her hips unconsciously starting to move against his.

Kal, she whispers, until his name became a mantra. The sound of her focused his attention, until he silences her with a kiss.

Diana grips his shoulders as their hips crash together.

He raises her legs higher and grips her hips tighter as he thrusts harder and deeper. He holds nothing back causing Diana to cry out louder. A flood of sensations ran through her body as she arched her back.

Diana moans not wanting to stop anytime soon. She rolls Clark on his back and starts to ride him at a medium pace. Both of them burning with heat, passion and love for one another. Clark grabs her hips and move them faster. Diana leans forward moaning louder and louder as they went faster.

With trembling fingers, she runs her hands up and down his chest, bringing her mouth to his neck and ear, alternating between kissing and licking him.

Clark holds her hips to move at a slower pace back and forth over him. She moaned in his chest, as her sensitive depths took him in more and more.

Diana feels her walls begin to shutter and buried her head in Clark's neck as she came.

"Feels so good, Kal," she cooes, biting gently into his chest, as she calms.

Clark captures her lips as he flips her back over, pushing into her over and over. He makes the sensations that she had just experienced feel like nothing compare to the new ones he was provoking.

Diana brakes their kiss, throwing her head back again, giving him total access to the smooth flesh of her neck. Her gasp sends heat rattling and pulsing through him as he attach his lips to her skin and sucked hard enough that he would surely be leaving a mark.

He groans, as he feels her orgasm rip through her.

He looks up in her eyes, continuing his strokes.

She arches underneath him as he dips his head down to kiss her breast. He increases his pace as she encourages him.

Diana had no control as her orgasm tore through her once again, the air rushing from her lungs as her whole lower half erupts into fire. As she tries to come down, Clark's movements hadn't slowed or stopped and he was keeping her overly sensitive body at its peak.

Her body betrays her, and another orgasm rips through her, her throat so horse, her scream came out silently.

She began chanting in Greek. As they feel each other's ecstasy, their lips repeatedly clash and smash together in a needy frenzy. The waves of satisfaction splitting her thighs. Clark slams into her one last time, as she careens over the edge, her eyes shooting open in sheer pleasure. Clark whispers sweet nothings in her ear as he fills her with his essence.

He holds her in his arms and Diana just hopes that he could keep her in his arms forever. She smiles as her breathing comes back to normalcy. Clark's hands ran over her body, pressing her body against his frame. He kisses her, slowly and sweetly.

"It's so calm, so beautiful," Diana sighs lovingly.

"It is nice out here. But I have a better view right here." Clark caresses her cheek.

Diana props her head up in one hand and trails her other hand down Clark's chest and abs. "I like this view better as well." She bites her lip seductively.

Clark leans over and kisses her again with his hand slowly rubbing up and down her thigh.

"You know we can't fall asleep here." Diana says. "We should go back to my place now."

Clark smirks as they both sit up. Clark gives Diana his shirt to put on and he puts back on his pants.

After Diana gathers her clothes, Clark picks her up, wrapping her legs around his waist.

Diana giggles. "Kal, what are you doing?"

"I'm flying us back to your place."

"I can fly."

"But I want you just like this." He cups and lightly squeezes her rear.

"Oh..." Diana laughs. She places one arm around his neck and kisses him before laying her head on his shoulder. "I love you," she whispers.

Clark smiles still feeling this is all so surreal. "I love you too, Diana," he replies, taking a deep breath as he flies up into the night sky.
