The Quinx of Change

Summary: The more Hide is stuck in Cochlea, the more he loses sense of the outside world. With the complications of his surgery affecting him, and Arima keeping a keen interest in the boy, he is left to his own devices to ponder the possibility of freedom. Plus, what's the deal with his rc fluctuating?

Cochlea

"Ow!" Hide exclaimed as he felt the effects of the rc test. It may have been something he was subject to ever since he was brought into Cochlea, but the effects of the test sometimes hurt his stomach.

Of course, he quickly realized that the pain would depend on the rc factor. The more it hurt, the more the test was picking up rc cells. That is usually what happens.

Hide had his surgeon come down to analyze him, with his fluctuating rc cell levels, and even he was somewhat surprised.

"This is interesting…" He said and Hide flinched. When a supposed medical expert like him doesn't know what's going on with your body, you feel like you are stuch with this unknown hinderance.

"W-what do you mean, you don't know…" Hide stammered, clearly a bit one edge.

The surgeon sighed, "One of the more serious complications of potential rc cell regenerative therapy may be the rise of rc cell counts, which could potentially result in ROS."

That made Hide a bit nervous, but it was lowered somewhat by the man's smile. "But I wouldn't worry for now."

This confused Hide, who asked, "Why shouldn't I?"

"It's simple, your rc count isn't rising exponentially or reaching prolonged dangerous levels. Rather it is fluctuation within human and near ghoul range. This phenomenon itself is strange, and is almost unheard of…"

"This totally makes me feel less worried…" Hide sarcastically thought, looking at the man with a unimpressed face.

"What I'm saying is that there is no evidence to support that this rc cell fluctuation is a serious health concern, however I will notify the top officials of the CCG on this. I would recommend keeping your rc suppressant trials."

Another three months, for a total of six months. That is how long Hide has been stuck in Cochlea, with his identity and whereabouts only known to certain CCG investigators. Of course, Hide's foster father was notified of his arrest. While he was worried, his foster father ultimately couldn't do anything.

Once Hide had turned 18, he was seen as an adult, and thus forced to move out. His foster father would only pay for his tuitions and essentials. Even that became less essential when Hide got a part time job at the CCG. Hide's thoughts were interrupted yet again by Akira, who was busy taking his rc count.

"Hmmm." Akira started with a small mumble of something Hide could not hear, until she spoke louder. "Your rc factor has remained the same, however, the spikes had decreased, and the highs and lows have stabilized as well. The fluctuations are also less pronounced. You're progressing well, Hide."

Hide nodded, not really paying attention. At this point, he just did as he was told, not really caring for the details outside for him. For him, six months of the same schedule was mundane, and while he got it easy in comparison to the ghouls of Cochlea, it was not anything desirable.

"With that being said, after these six months of getting you back to health, it is time to talk regarding the events that had occurred during the Owl Suppression Operation. You have been arrested for defending and harbouring a ghoul. As an investigator assistant, working part-time for the CCG, you know well how dangerous these animals are." Akira started, putting on a serious face.

Hide nodded. In truth he had known this would eventually follow him. Pushing Kishou Arima away from his kill was seen by many as traitorous, even if that ghoul is Hide's best friend.

"If you had not kept up, I had already told Arima himself about a large chunk of the information he needed to know for me to act on my behave when I did. With him being the one I attacked, he deserved to know as soon as possible." Hide simply stated, his face developing a serious and monotone expression, which was uncharacteristic of Hide.

While it seemed unusual, looking into the face of Hide, the expression he had painted a different picture. There was no doubt that six months of being stuck in Cochlea had impacted him, due to isolation and a lack of motive.

Regardless, Hide continued, "I had told him about the eyepatch being the missing male from Kami University, the very one I went to, as well as that man being my best friend."

Akira's face turned to confusion, "What?"

Hide rolled his eyes, "The boy who had an organ transplant after the steel beam incident? I know of the accident because I was intricately connected, with my best friend severely injured. He, alongside the person who operated on him, went missing after the incident."

Akira's eyes did not change but did show a hint of interest. "And who is the doctor who operated on your best friend?"

Hide's eyes took on a glare, "Akihiro Kanou, from the general hospital with his name."

Akira's eyes then turned to interest, "But that's-"

"The guy who also went missing, he is also the same who has an arrest warrant on him, right?" Hide asked, his glare on Akira not lessening one bit.

Akira, for her part stared at Hide in shock, as she could not recall telling him about this, but considering the sort of information gatherer Hide can be sometimes.

"Yeah, he does have an arrest warrant on him, but how did you know?" She simply asked and Hide shrugged in response.

"A mix of experience and information gathering. I knew some parts of the story the CCG didn't bother ask me about, and I connected it with the information they already had, now I know what happened to Kaneki."

Akira's face turned to Hide's when he spoke that word, as while she thinks it was surprising, considering Hide had already proven he was the ghoul's best friend, she downplayed it.

"So, what do you think happened, and why did you defend eyepatch?" Akira asked at last, wanting a precise and direct answer from Hide specifically.

"What happened to Kaneki, that is his name, was that Dr. Kanou transplanted a ghoul organ into him, causing his body to change. The arrest warrant on Dr. Kanou and the emergence of Eyepatch around the same time further back this claim. As for who the girl who died in the accident was, well that you'll have to ask Arima."

"And why do I need to ask Arima for that?" Akira asked.

Hide shook his head, "You'll understand when you get the information, but as for why I had defended him, it's because he's my best friend. Simple as that."

Akira stared at Hide, looking for any traces of lying in his face, but Hide's showed none. While it showed a bit of an outgoing look, hidden by his serious face, there was no evidence that he as lying. Plus, with the surprising information he knew regarding Dr. Kanou and the accident, it did have some merit to it.

So, Akira simply nodded a small thank you, before heading to the exit.

"Wait!" Hide startled Akira, who turned around.

"You never told me the rc factor for today, my stomach was hurting this time. You only said it remained stable…" He stated, and Akira's face morphed into shock, facepalming.

"My apologies, 872." She said before leaving.

"872, higher than yesterday..." Hide mumbled before he put on his headphones again. He was worried about his health, but once three months passed and he felt the same, other than his left arm feeling more natural, he decided to push that potential paranoia aside, for now.

Six months, Hide had thought, realizing the time he had spent in what was prison. It was not a prison; it was more of a place where they put you to interrogate you until their done with you. If you were a ghoul, you were dead afterwards, but if you were human, the fate was less known.

As Hide looked up to the ceiling of the room, all he could think about was the times in the past. Before the accident, before he joined the CCG, before that cafeteria.

Everything had gone so well so far, until it all fell apart. In the matter of weeks, Kaneki had gone missing, and Hide had found himself in a world filled with fear and violence. It was not fun.

Suddenly, despite the music doing the best to block out the dire state he was in, he felt himself getting a bit emotional, missing the times then. The simpler times, when he and Kaneki could simply go at get burgers, coffee or even making fun of him for being a bookworm. Now, they were miles apart, in the same building, corned without a way to escape what they were in now.

The door to Hide's room suddenly opened, and Hide quickly wiped his tears away, pretending he was struggling with taking off his headphones, before looking up, and seeing Arima.

Hide simply nodded, "Hello Arima."

Arima walked towards Hide, with a very stoic face that made him a bit nervous.

"Is everything alright?" Hide asked, and he watched as the reaper was conflicted.

"Why did you mention to Akira that I knew the girl who died in the accident?" He asked.

Hide's face turned to shock, scratching his head, "I didn't exactly tell her you knew her, I just stated that I had told you about her and that you understood. I figured that if I had given Akira her name, I would not have the information to back up who she was. So, I left that to you because you probably have a better understanding of her."

Arima simply looked on, his stoic neutral expression still there, which again made Hide nervous. You could never anticipate with this guy.

"Besides, it's your family, or half-family whatever, so I kind of would feel bad if I were to talk about someone's family without their permission." Hide stated afterwards, but his knees up before hugging them, hoping Arima would not do anything to him.

Arima sighed, "I see, but in case you realize, I don't want you referencing the fact that my half-sister was a ghoul."

"I understand that, but you don't have to say that, just say that she was your school friend or something like that."

Hide really did understand, if the CCG knew that Arima potentially knew and hide the identity of some ghouls, he would be scorned upon, and it might turn into the biggest news for the CCG in a while.

Arima looked on, clearly unamused by Hide's explanations. But then again, he did understand where Hide was coming from, and he did somewhat respect the boy for having some manners. Despite being an open and outgoing guy, he did respect others privacy when needed.

Arima sighed, "I guess I could reveal to you one of your family members."

Hide looked up in confusion to his statement. "My family?"

Arima nodded, "Your father. He worked for the CCG."

Hide's eyes moved to Arima's in confusion. Why was he telling him this, he asked himself? He didn't have the best relationship with his biological father, so why was Arima speaking highly of him? Why did Arima compare his father to him?

"Yeah, I knew that he worked at the CCG until he died when I was seven." Hide merely stated. The topic of his father was underwhelming. Just like his actual father, who Hide did not really spend a lot of time with, due to his busy nature within the CCG.

"Indeed, he was a very hard-working individual in the CCG, and had the potential to be a respected investigator, like Amon or Mado. He was always working late, delving into information like it intrigued him. In many ways he was a lot, but also completely different from you."

Hide tuned to Arima in shock, "What do you mean by that?" He asked.

Arima chuckled a bit, "When it came to things he was interested in, he was always a quick-learner, able to find and solve details and problems before the rest. In many ways, with how you were interested in that accident, I can see some of your father in you."

Hide smiled sadly a bit at that, knowing someone who knew his father was an interesting twist, and a conversation about knowing a parent of yours whose no longer with you was always something Hide did not mind. At least he knew him for seven years.

"But also, he was also the opposite of you. He was quieter, more conserved, and serious in everything, always planning everything before he acted. Whereas you are more outgoing and cooperative, your father was more independent based, and that, unfortunately became his downfall. While he was strong enough take out a pack of ghouls, once he was injured, he was merely alone, without medical attention, and therefore was found dead by a bystander, a gash in his chest and leg."

Hide's eyes widened at that, "Wait, so my dad died by the hands of ghouls?" He asked. While it did make sense, it was always assumed his father's death was an accident, rather than a murder. This was a new revelation to Hide, but he wasn't mad that the ghoul's ended his father's life. He felt indifferent, as it really hadn't changed his hectic life.

Arima nodded, "Yes, while he impressively killed and decapitated seven ghouls, including three S rated ones, with an outdated quinque, his hesitance to work with others was what caused him to die afterwards. If he had not died that night, he would've exponentially grown into a threatening figure in the CCG."

Just like the last serious and informative conversation he had with Arima, this was also a lot to take in, regarding his father, and how he was connected to the CCG in many ways.

"Was it my name that sounded like my fathers?" Hide asked, and Arima nodded.

"Indeed, the last names are alike. You didn't change your name after foster?" he asked and Hide shrugged.

"I wasn't really in foster care for long, roughly like three months, before a foster father took me, because his ex-fiancee had a child that wasn't his, so he took me in to heal the damage." Hide explained to Arima, and the reaper did show a bit of sorrow for Hide.

"Hey Arima." Hide asked, his face turning to Arima, wanting to ask a question he had not really had the opportunity to ask. Due to his rc testing, physiotherapy, and the occasional interrogation by Itsuki and Akira, he did not really get to ask Arima about him.

"How's Kaneki?" Hide asked, and he watched as Arima's face turned stoic.

"He is doing fine; he's actually been able to briefly leave his room." Hide smiled at that.

"That's great, can I see him?" The orange-haired man asked, and Arima's stoic face looked down.

"I'm afraid you cannot."

Hide's face turned a bit angry, "Can you at least take me there? I know-"

"It's not you." Arima cut him off. "Kaneki isn't Kaneki anymore."

Hide's heart dropped when he said that, he could feel the whole world changing. Some would say the world around them slows down, well for Hide, it froze entirely. "W-what do y-you m-mean? Not K-Kaneki?"

Arima sighed, "His mental capacity has improved, his nightmares have gone, and he is talking fine-" He looked up, his hands moving to correct his new glasses, "however, he has total amnesia."

That sentence hit Hide hard. "T-Total amnesia? Like, he doesn't know anything?"

Arima chuckled, "Not necessarily anything, he can still talk, and move, but his memories have been affected. I'm afraid, even now, that introducing him to someone like you will bring shock to him."

Hide's face went down, "I guess that makes sense."

"He does have a new name, as he couldn't even remember it. It's Haise Sasaki."

That confused Hide, "Wait? What, why that name?"

Arima chuckled, "For coffee and world."

"Is that literature related?" Hide asked, and Arima chuckled.

"You should know."

"Of course..." Hide mumbled, as he mildly facepalmed. Even with total amnesia, Kaneki held some of his former personality.

Silence then took over Hide's room, as Arima made his way towards the exit as well.

However, Hide decided to ask one more question.

"Hey Arima." Hide sighed, "If Kaneki ever is allowed out, in the smallest of chances, will I be released as well? If not, when will I be released?"

Arima sighed, as even he knew it was a delicate process, "I'm not sure. I do have a plan with Haise, and if he eventually is released, then maybe the same can go for you. However, your previous knowledge on him may be detrimental to him, meaning the CCG may see you as a threat."

Hide's face said it all, "But you really think I would try to harm my best friend?"

Arima put a hand on his face, scratching it in thought, "Not necessarily, but rather by mistake, calling him the wrong name, or referencing something you two did in the past, there's a possibility that you may trigger something within him."

Hide sighed, "Will he ever get his memories back?"

"It's amnesia, either you eventually do, or you give up trying, and make new ones."

Hide nodded in understanding, "I see, but if he does get out, can I also have the possibility? It wouldn't make sense for the ghoul I defended to be out, but I'm still in here."

Arima then smiled, "I understand where you are coming from. In fact, I do have a plan regarding you, which may aid in you getting out of Cochlea. However, until I finish with Haise, then I cannot help you until then."

"How long will that take?" Hide asked.

"Until Haise is able to function alongside the CCG." Arima said.

Hide nodded, "So you are training him to be a member of the CCG?"

Arima simply nodded, before he left, as he had business to take care of, which included another prisoner and some paper work.

Hide sighed, this was going to be overwhelming for the next couple of weeks. The revelation that Kaneki was now totally blind to his memories made Hide sad. It seems that seeing his best friend will have to wait for a long time.

Without his physiotherapy appointments, he was now left even more alone, with the only visits being Akira to check his rc levels, and Arima occasionally to see how he was doing.

The fact that the room Hide was in was a pure grey coloured room did not help matters at all, as Hide was instead left with nothing but the same colour to look at no matter what.

It was so bad that Hide had proceeded to scratch the falls, to get rid of the clear, aging paint to give the room some white lines, just to give variety for the contained individual.

"I'm so bored..." Hide mumbled, as he looked to his headphones again. It was clear that six months of this, Hide was not going to get out sane.

He did ponder on stuff like exercise. He was still told by his physiotherapist to continue strengthen his arm, as well his other body parts after the operation, as the blood loss had also taken its toll on him.

Then, with the weird rc fluctuating he had been experiencing, it did not help his isolation at all. It only further helped Hide's silent torment, with the only noise he could hear were the ringing in his ears, or the music from his headphones.

Whatever, Hide thought, he had to find something to do. Anything to keep his mind going.

As Hide watched his meal get delivered, he noticed a weird aluminum foil, used to hold the food, in this case a simple burger.

Hide stared, reminding him of the burgers he and Kaneki would get. He begun to get a bit teary, as he bit into the burger. It even tasted like those, he muttered.

When he was done, all he was left with was crumps, and the aluminum foil.

With a bit of desperation and intelligence, Hide began to wrap the aluminum roll into the shape of a sphere, or a ball, before putting it somewhere for later.

When they had come to take the remaining meal, and clean any crumps, Hide was left to himself. He retrieved the aluminum ball he had created, and began to toss it on the wall, letting it bounce back to him.

Hey, his doctor said to exercise his arm, this was an effective way, Hide thought, as he found the simple act enough to temporarily cure his boredom.

As Hide woke up, he had made sure his aluminum ball was away from the sight of those passing by, as he was spent the rest of his day contemplating.

He was glad for his smartphone for having notes on it, as it allowed him to do something.

Type stuff. Whether it was the day it was today, because of how repetitive this cycle was, the day was hard to tell. At least this allowed him to keep track of time, and was what made him realize the length he was in Cochlea for.

Six months. He merely mumbled to himself, as he realized he had spent the first two in the hospital, before the other four doing physiotherapy for his arm, which due to an experimental procedure, allowed him to regrow his once lost left arm.

And even then, he was suffering from some complications, such as a lactose intolerance, and a strange fluctuation with his rc cells.

All Hide could really do was just wait. He could not escape due to most of it being underground, and the only escape being the elevator. He could not try and coerce anyone to let him go, he could not really do anything.

So, he was destined to spend the rest of the next couple of weeks or months, locked away in Cochlea, treated like a prisoner like the rest.

The first time Hide was allowed to see the outside world was after ten months. He had spent eight in Cochlea, and two stuck in the hospital recovering from his injuries.

It was a very confusing time for Hide, as spending eight to ten months underground, and finally seeing what was upstairs was a substantial change.

One would think Hide was as energetic and optimistic as he was back then. However, now, that necessarily was not the case.

Hide's figure represented a similar appearance to that of his previous ones, his orange hair and headphones, same height. The only differences were his lanky build, with it being noticeably skinnier than before, and his face taking on a more protectionist tone.

It was clear that those times of isolation was taking a toll on the poor young adult. The only ones he got to talk to were Akira, briefly, and Arima, only like, twice a month if he was lucky.

He never had the chance to really talk to others, even prisoners, as by the time Hide was introduced to the human Cochlea population. One, it was small, and two, Hide simply was not too keen on interacting with them.

Despite Hide working out, with the advice an example his doctors recommended him, he was still relatively lanky, due to the food he was given not being nutritious. With Cochlea more adapted to handing food out monthly, skips in meals were common.

These times, in short, are not fun for Hide, the isolation, the lack of actions to perform, it was all taking its toll on Hide. He needed some way to get out as soon as possible.

CCG Headquarters

"Haise!" Arima's voice yelled in the room, with the white-haired boy following shortly after.

"Yes Arima-san." The boy responded, and Arima chuckled.

"You don't need to call me Arima-san, just Arima or Kishou is alright." He smiled at the boy, who simply nodded.

"Um, Arima, how is the surgery developing?" Haise asked, and Arima knew what he was referring to.

The Quinx surgery, using samples of a kagune that can regrow itself, as well as some quinque steel frames, the individual will be able to use the ghoul's natural weapon against them.

It would not, obviously cause the human patient to develop ghoul characteristics, as the kakuhou would be suppressed and restrained by multiple frames of quinque steel, thus allowing the individual to live their lives as a human, but with the ability to fight better against ghouls.

However, there were, obviously, some complications that go with the surgery, but also some requirements before an individual could be qualified for it.

For one, the qualifications. The paperwork for it was challenging, with a test of knowledge needing to be complete for certain individuals to be accepted. First, they need to complete a human-ghoul anatomy test, as those qualified will need a further understanding of what is happening to them. Next, they need permission from a close relative, unless they are over the age of 18, and can sign the approval themselves.

While those who qualified is said to be paid for their commitment towards the surgery, they will also have to do follow ups to check for any complications, like new allergies, new tastes, and even a chance of ROS. These individuals also need to complete a rc test, to see their current rc factor, as those with a high enough rc will be further encouraged compared to those with less.

That, however, brought Arima to a consideration, regarding one certain orange-haired man currently stuck in Cochlea for nine months now.

He knew of the man's interesting procedure after his missing arm was miraculously regrown. He clearly had a connection to the man in front of him, and his rc levels were fluctuating, with Akira giving Arima his results daily.

It was an interesting conundrum, but one that Arima was surprised to see that the boy, Hide was faring well.

With the Quinx experiment going on, with some volunteering, Arima had a hypothesis that Hide would work well as a Quinx.

Not just due to his determination to see Haise, or Kaneki, but also because of his fluctuating rc levels.

It may seem like a terrible thing, and it is kind of is, however, the Quinx, the theoretical name for those who have completed this surgery, may also deal with this, or at least a slight increase. The idea, however, is that Hide may be more adapted towards the conditions. It was just a speculation, but Arima felt for the boy, and he did give him some key information about the person in front of him.

In a way, the reaper felt that he owed the guy at least the right to see his friend. Even if he won't be recognized, or the possibility of Haise going into shock upon seeing him is there, perhaps some conditions needed to be set in order for this to work.

It was then doing Arima notice he had left Haise open to what he was asking.

"My apologies, Haise, but so far we have some individuals, called the first batch, who are willing or ready for the surgery, though I do want to talk to another regarding this." Arima stated to Haise, who simply looked on in confusion.

"Another?" He asked, and Arima smiled.

"Another possible qualifier for the Quinx surgery. He may be a valued member, but his story is a bit different from the others. You'll see him when and if he accepts, got it?" Arima simple replied to Haise, who nodded in response.

"Good, now I will see you tomorrow, we shall do some training and sparring, so get some rest." Arima motioned and Haise nodded, heading towards a new building, described by the CCG as a place for the upcoming Quinx Squad.

That was the last thing Arima had forgotten to notice, that those who had gotten the surgery, and had become a Quinx were to live in close proximity, as in the scenario that a Quinx, "goes loose," or breaks their frames and becomes ghoul-like, they'll be treated no different as S-rated ghouls, and therefore, dangerous.

It might seem cruel, to inflict an individual to such a risk, but they at least are signing up to it, or being offered it with generous guarantees, Arima thought.

The cause of the Quinx Squad surgery came after Akira and Arima had discussed the information Hide had given them. Being investigators, they were smart enough to see, as they had examined Kaneki after the fight, spotting a noticeable scar that almost seemed unusual to them.

A ghoul couldn't be cut with a regular knife, unless under the influence of rc suppressants, that only the CCG can prescribe. However, the site was too much of a coincidence, and mixed with Hide's story had given the CCG the information they needed, as they now knew of the possibility of creating artificial ghouls, like what had happened to eyepatch.

Regardless, they knew the unethical view on this, and so, made sure to find ways to retain the "humanity" in those who were willing to offer themselves to the surgery.

With the approval of Dr. Shibi, the surgeon and doctor who was the main driver for this, the CCG now had a new weapon to use against the fight with ghouls, their own weapons.

This, in a sense was more ethical than turning the ghoul's kakuhou into quinque's, but the former was also more difficult than the latter.

However, once the surgery was completed, unless the individual breaks through their steel frames, the Quinx would be valuable members, being able to compete with ghouls, having all their properties and advantages, the strength, endurance, and regeneration of a ghoul, while also being able to eat like a normal human.

And it was all thanks to Kaneki, as the perfect examination, and Hide for the information he had given. Unlike other ghouls, Arima found the duo's story somewhat tragic, as by all means they had proven that Hide's hypothesis was in fact a reality.

Two ordinary college students, living their lives, until one was, against his will turned into a ghoul through unethical means, and the other joining the CCG, bringing himself into the violent battle of ghoul vs human. In a matter of months, their lives had changed dramatically, and not necessarily for the better.

Seeing the begging Hide, on his knees wanting to keep his best friend alive, despite him being a ghoul, a monster.

The quote of Hide telling them that Kaneki was more human than all of them now made sense. Eyepatch had spent over just over eighteen years living as a human, only for his life to be turned upside down.

Perhaps living among the CCG would give them the normal life they wanted back, or at least as normal of a life. He had already started with Haise, now it was time for Hide's turn.

When he saw those two during that fated night, Arima was interested in them. Kaneki for his ghoul nature, and Hide, for his potential for the CCG.

Arima sighed, even if the risk of Haise recognizing Hide was there, he knew that he deserved to see him after under a year. Of course, while he didn't think he needed to change Hide's name, he did know that he would have to be set under some conditions.

That was an interesting question, though: would Haise react to Hide? Would he undergo shock after this? Or would Haise not think too much, giving them the opportunity to start over?

Arima sighed, on the one hand, he had promised Eto, to train someone who could act as a beacon of hope for ghouls and humans alike. Kaneki Ken, or now known as Haise Sasaki, fit that role perfectly. What would Hide fulfill? Arima didn't know, but he felt an obligation to help Hide. He couldn't deny that talking to Hide while he was in Cochlea made Arima feel sorry for the blonde.

Until Kaneki regained his memory, Arima would train him, and while he wasn't sure what to do with Hide, perhaps having him keep an eye on Haise would be a good thing, in spite of the obvious one-sided friendship that would occur.

Arima sighed, as he began to head down to Cochlea, to meet with the orange-haired man, for hopefully the last time he would be down here.

He had made up his mind, and knew what he wanted Hide for, in the future. It would make all of their lives better than before they were involved in this.

A.N / So, for context, this is happening in between Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re, as there is a time gap of around 2-3 years between series. As a result, because of the AU, it does somewhat change how things will work. We already seen that through experimental surgery Hide had recovered from his injuries, but now we will see something different, that you probably already know thanks to Arima's thinking, as like I said, he will play a somewhat major role in the story, at least the first half.
