Bold Italics- Songs Lyrics

Diana Prince picked out her outfit for the day the night before, but now, looking at it, it seems like it's too… good. Right now, she feels sort of… dark. She decided to wear a red short sleeve blouse, which gave a peek of cleavage and tucked into her black high waisted midi denim skirt.

Diana gave herself a nod of approval after looking in the mirror, and started on her makeup. She gave herself a light swoop of mascara and blood red lipstick before heading down stairs.

Diana arrived at work at 8:15. Perfect.

"Good Morning, Ms. Prince. Wow! You look amazing! Getting into the Halloween spirit?"

"Good Morning, Sharon, and thank you!" Diana smiled. "Well yes I do enjoy festivities with the children in costume, the scary stories, and of course the trick or treating."

"We will be having a gathering tonight, handing out treats and having scary movies showing."

"Oh that's nice!"

"What do you have planned, Ms. Prince?"

"A friend of mine is having a party as well. Oh by the way, I'll be leaving an hour or 2 earlier. I have to get back home and get ready. The location is an hour away and-"

"Oh no problem, Diana. From your schedule today, there's nothing much but a call from the counselor and Bernice Mason. Also you are needed to look over Vincent's proposal for the new Women's leadership building."

"Oh ok. Thank you, Sharon, I'll have a letter of approval for Vincent before I leave."

"Alrighty!"

Diana smiled and nodded slightly. She walked away to her office. As she was walking the hall she started lowly humming.

It was a song she had heard a couple of times. It was enchanting...even haunting to the mind. She didn't know whether it was the lyrics or the instrumental or maybe it was just all of it. But she couldn't stop singing it.

My haunted lungs

Ghost in the sheets

I know if I'm haunting you

You must be haunting me

Diana walked into her office and sighed. She sat down at her desk taking out a folder from her desk file cabinet.

Before she could get started reading over the proposal her cellphone buzzed. She glanced at the screen and smiled.

Clark: Good Morning, Di!

Just wanted to know if you were still going to the party tonight?

Diana: Good Morning, Kal!

Yes, I am

Clark: Good because if you changed your mind I wasn't going to go either.

Diana: Don't let me stop you

Clark: It's only fun for me when you are around

Diana: Aww. You are the sweetest 3

Clark: What are you wearing?

To the party I mean...

Diana: I know what you meant ;)

And you'll find out at the party. You'll have to find me.

Clark: So you are going to do your own trick or treat, huh?

Diana: I don't have any tricks...yet but I do have treats

Clark: For me?

Diana: Maybe.

Any tricks or treats for me? And who/what will you be dressed as?

Clark: You will see at the party

Diana: Fair enough, Mr. Kent. I'll see you then

Clark: I look forward to it, Ms. Prince ;)

Diana smiled and bit her lip. Clark Kent was her best friend. The man she trusts the most. The man she's fallen deeply in love with. But he didn't know that or maybe he did. Maybe he was in love with her too. That would explain why every conversation they've had and every time they are around each other for the last couple of years has given off this more than friends vibe.

Maybe tonight they will finally address their feelings.

Daily Planet

"So, Smallville, what's the agenda for tonight? Going to sit up all night eating candy corn, watching not so scary movies?"

Clark turned in his chair and frowned slightly. "I'm going to a party."

"A party?" Lois questioned.

"Zatanna Zatara's annual Halloween party."

"How did you get invited? You are not the partying type."

"Actually Lois, I do like to have a bit of fun. And besides, I'm meeting someone there."

"Kent has a date? What are you two going to dress as? Two peas in a pod?"

"Ha! Very funny, Lois. But no. I'm not sure what she will be dressed as and I'm not sure what I will be either."

"Oh so your someone is a she. Hmm.. well I'm curious to know how long this will last."

"She is just a friend."

Lois side eyed Clark. "Sure, Kent."

Clark frowned and turned back to his computer. "Need to finish up work now."

"Fine."

When Lois walked away, Clark sat back in his chair and sighed. He contemplated on what really should he say or do when he sees Diana.

My wicked tongue

Where will it be?

I know if I'm onto you

I'm on to you

On to you, I'm on to you

On to you, you must be on to me

"Ms. Prince? Ms. Prince?"

Diana snapped out of her daze and shook her head slightly. "My apologies, what were you saying?"

"Are you alright, Dear?"

Diana smiled, "yes, Mrs. Avery, I was just contemplating an idea. I think it is lovely to have the children's foundation banquet at Central Park. City wide family event. Next month will be the women's retreat. We will have the schedule for planning by next week."

"Oh! That works perfectly!"

Diana glanced at the clock. "Mrs. Avery, I believe it's time for you meeting with Lawrence?"

"Yes, child! You are right. You know how Lawrence is with even being a minute late. Thank you for everything, Diana. I look forward to our next meeting and the banquet."

Diana smiled and nodded.

"Happy Halloween! Try not to get too many sweets tonight!" She joked.

Diana laughed softly. "Oh I don't think I will. I have other plans."

The Underworld

Hecate, the old goddess of the moon and witchcraft. She was once Zeus' lover and reigned supreme in heaven and hell. Though now she is alone at the moment, sitting on her underworld throne. Bored and needed to be entertained.

"So tonight is the night all mortals play dress up? They want to be apart of this world? Then it shall be. I'll give them a treat for tonight. When the clock strikes nine they will all be mine."

7 p.m. Diana's Condominium

My haunted lungs

Ghost in the sheets

I know if I'm haunting you

You must be haunting me

Diana sighed as the hot water rolled down her back. She closed her eyes running her own hands down her body.

My wicked tongue

Where will it be?

She can feel him. She could...hear him...breathing.

"Di...an...a..."

I know if I'm onto you

I'm on to you

On to you, I'm on to you

On to you, you must be on to me

She took a deep breath. "Oh Clark..."

Meanwhile...

Clark wiped the fog off his bathroom mirror, after getting out the shower. He imaged Diana, standing right behind him, he looked over his shoulder. Obviously she wasn't there. He then looked back into the mirror. There she was. In all her naked glory. She was so beautiful. He wanted her. He had to have her. He had to have her tonight.

It's what you do

It's what you see

I know if I'm haunting you

You must be haunting me

It's repeating...the song...over and over...and over again.

8:45 Vesper Castle Mansion

Clark stood at the front entrance and looked up. The moon and sky was slowly turning a shade of red.

"Zatanna, is really getting into the spirit, isn't she?" he thought.

He walked in. It's dim. Setting the dark mood. He observed the guest in their costumes. Even with masks he recognized majority but they all seemed so strange. It was more than just getting into character. Something within them, slowly seeping through.

He was quite disappointed or maybe just a little impatient. Diana was not there yet.

9:00 p.m.

It's where we go

It's where we'll be

I know if I'm on to you, I'm on to you

On to you, you must be on to me

He could hear laughter. But it was no ordinary laugher. It was soft but riddled with evil and mischief.

His heart skipped a beat. He sat down and closed his eyes for a moment and once he opened them again, everything was different. All the guest had turned into their respective monster selves of the night.

He smiled a mischievous grin and licked his lips. Even he was different. He inhaled. His kryptonian senses were heightened. His eyes as red as the moon. He had an urge...a need...a hunger for blood. Pure divine blood.

Two women sat next to Clark giggling. "Well hello, Handsome."

Clark side-eyed both of them already annoyed.

"Why don't we all have a little fun together."

"I have other plans, ladies."

More like harpies.

"Oh come on," they whined.

"No," he said sternly. He nodded at a server to bring him a glass. He took one gulp and set his glass down. "I want what is pure. Come to me. I'm waiting for you," he said outloud in a deep low tone.

Just then a woman walked in. She was dressed in a dark blood red halter silk fitted dress with double slit, it showed all of her curves and she had on black heels. She had on a gold mask.

Clark smirked. He walked up to her and took her hand, kissing the back of it lightly.

"You move quite swiftly. Is there a competition I am unaware of?"

"No, Madame, it is not. Though a woman as lovely as you should be greeted properly."

She glanced around to see some of the ghoulish fools staring at her.

"It is quite a pleasure to meet a gentleman."

"The pleasure is all mine, Ms.?"

"Diana Prince."

"I sense that you are not from here."

"You can say, I keep a low profile. And you are?"

"Clark Kent. Now that we have gotten acquainted, may I have this dance?"

"Yes, most certainly."

Clark guided her to the middle of the room.

Diana had to admit, although he too had on a mask, she was instantly mesmerized by his eyes; nothing but deep pools of ocean blue. It's then that she took a moment to look at his attire. He was wearing a black mask, with a classic tuxedo, blood red tie, and there was a red rose with a black ribbon tied around it in his jacket pocket.

Oddly, she couldn't say anything else to him. He smiled at her and she couldn't help but smile back.

It was like they were talking through their eyes.

In a matter of minutes, it was like no one else was there but them.

My haunted lungs

Ghost in the sheets

I know if I'm haunting you

You must be haunting me

Everything was moving in slow motion. They were moving in slow motion. Slow, sexy and hypnotic.

Diana looked over her shoulder back at Clark and smiled seductively.

Without a word, she started walking away from him. She took a champagne glass from the server and kept walking to the back patio entrance.

Clark smirked and followed her.

"Hmm...Zeus' daughter has very interesting taste. What a fine specimen the alien is. A powerful man. Just as Zeus." Hecate pondered. "I wonder what Zeus himself has to say?"

11:30 p.m.

The moon was full. It was quiet. Romantic.

When Clark stepped out, he heard a soft giggle.

"Follow me, Clark..." he heard. "Follow me..."

He smirked again. He can sense her. Her blood was boiling with anticipation and excitement just as his. Ah, the taste of her. So sweet. He can hear her heartbeat. A lovely rhythm.

He followed a trail to the center of the field. There, an area built to look like ruins and a bench. On the side of one of the walls was carved "Lovers' Point".

Clark stepped closer and saw Diana already sitting on the bench with her legs crossed, drinking her glass of champagne.

Once she was done she slowly licked her lips then bit her bottom lip.

"So Clark Kent, from the moment I walked in, you wanted me alone. What ever shall we do now?"

Clark sat next to her and yanks her closer.

"Excited already?"

Diana took her and Clark's masks off.

Clark smiled, "You are exquisite..." and kissed her.

"I was drawn to you."

He trailed his left hand up her thigh. He kissed down her neck, causing her to let out a low moan and bite her bottom lip. Clark smirked feeling Diana's thigh strap.

"You've came prepared."

He held up a small blade.

"I know exactly what you are and what you want from me as you know who I am and what I want from you."

"You trust me?"

"I know what I'm getting into with you. If I didn't, I wouldn't be here."

"I admire your directness, Diana."

Clark moved closer and laid a gentle kiss on her neck.

"Say it," Diana moaned in a whisper. "Say what you want from me."

"Your soul. I want your soul, Diana."

Diana smirked. "Have it."

With the blade still in hand, Clark slit the palm of his hand. As the blood ran down, he took Diana's glass letting it pour. When enough blood was in the glass, he handed it to Diana.

Midnight

Diana took the glass and slowly drank his blood. Clark's palm has already started healing as he watched her.

When she was done she opened her eyes, turning a hint of red.

Clark smiled and pulled her into a passionate kiss, tasting his own blood.

Diana trailed her hands down to unbutton his jacket. Clark immediately took it off without breaking their kiss. Then Diana slowly unbuckled his belt and unzipped his pants.

She broke the kiss and looked into his eyes. Clark glided his hands slowly up her thighs and gripped her thin lace thong, quickly sliding it down her long sexy legs.

Clark pulled her to sit straddled on top of him. She unbuttoned his shirt and glided her hands down his chest and abs.

Running her hands back up his chest, she wrapped her arms around his neck and lowered herself onto Clark's waiting, throbbing well endowed erection. Diana gasped as she started to slowly ride him.

She felt the pain and pleasure all at once. The feel of Clark was amazing.

My wicked tongue

Where will it be

I know if I'm onto you

You must be onto me

Diana leaned over and licked his neck before leaving a lingering kiss.

She whispered in his ear. "Bite me..."

He trailed his lips up to the side of her neck. "So beautiful. Divine. So Pure."

Diana let out a loud grasp and moan feeling his fangs sink slowly and deeply into her neck.

"Oh yes!" She clawed into his shoulders.

Her eyes shot open and went wide as they turn blood red. She threw her head back giving Clark more access as he sucked and kissed harder. Her pace of riding him still did not falter.

Once he was satisfied, he looked up at Diana with a devilish grin. Blood dripping from his mouth. Diana smirked, licking the corner of his mouth and his lips before kissing him passionately.

Diana could feel her body changing, reacting.

"Be one with me, Diana."

"Yes. Take me."

They both groaned reaching their peaks. Diana dug her nails deeper his neck and shoulders and Clark gripped her hips tighter. They groaned in unison.

"Clark..."

"Diana..."

It's what we see

I know if I'm haunting you

You must be haunting me

It's where we go

It's where we'll be

I know if I'm onto you, I'm onto you

Onto you, I'm onto you

Onto you, you must be onto me

6 a.m. Clark Kent's Apartment

Clark and Diana simultaneously gasped and rose up in bed.

Diana groaned and cupped her forehead. "Mmm...my head."

Clark rubbed his shoulder. "What a night...?"

"Clark?"

"Yeah?"

"What did we do last night?"

"I'm not sure, Di. I can't really remember either."

Diana slowly got out of bed to go to the bathroom. She splashed water on her face then stared at herself in the mirror.

She noticed a mark on her neck. She looked closer in the mirror.

"A...bite mark?"

She closed her eyes trying to remember. She then tensed and opened her eyes looking into the mirror to see Clark standing behind her.

"Are you okay?"

"I was bitten."

"Bitten? What? Let me see."

Diana turned around moving her hair to the left side and titled her head.

Clark frowned and lightly touched it.

"Does it hurt?"

"No." Diana frowned noticing a mark on him too. "Kal, you were bitten, too."

He glanced up in the mirror and saw it but didn't care.

"I'm worried about you right now, Di." He cupped her cheek.

Diana felt something in his hand. She took his hand and looked at his palm.

"Your hand...it was slit."

Diana looked up into his eyes. They stared at each other as if trying to get the answers.

And there it was. They could see themselves inside each other through their eyes.

"Kal."

"Diana."

"What we did last night. We fused our blood...our..." Diana looked down. "Our souls..."

Clark frowned a bit as Diana's voice changed seemingly disappointed.

Clark lifted her chin and smiled. "Is that such a bad thing?"

"No...not for me. You don't think so?"

"Of course not. It's just if I get the urge to kick some monster's ass or pick up a sword, I know it's just you," he laughed joking.

Diana couldn't help but smile. She looked down again and noticed they were still naked.

"We should get showers and get dressed."

Clark wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer.

"No, this is fine, too."

He cupped her cheek again and captured her lips in a passionate kiss.

Clark lifted her up wrapping Diana's legs around his waist.

Diana broke their kiss.

"May I?" Clark asked his eyes glowing red. He walked out the bathroom heading back to the bed.

"You don't have to ask. I am forever yours as you are mine..." she responded her eyes mirroring his, glowing red with burning passion.

Back to the Underworld

Hecate smiled. "Dawn is on the horizon. I've had my entertainment for now." Sh wickedly a bit. "Though, I think I'll have more fun with Zeus' daughter and the alien now that they share souls."
