Here's chapter 16 everyone.
Chapter 16: Sudden Retreat.
At their lair, Dan was giving orders to his army as he continues to send more to Amity Park. At the same time, he was talking to Fright Knight about the next plan once the Staff has been fixed. As the two discuss, they noticed Dana coming in with a evil chuckle.
"I assume the evil laughter involved Danny and Danielle. What did you see?" Dan asked with a grin.
"Well, first things first, Danny and Danielle pass the test. They destroyed our air force that we sent to Egypt." Dana said.
"A shame, but why the laughter?" Dan asked.
"Because, Danny and Danielle, with the US Air Force, flew to Egypt, but our air force was not the main reason why, even though they did, but rather what was located near the town we tried to attack there." Dana said with a grin.
"Which is?" Dan asked.
"The Phonoi." Dana replied with a chuckle.
"Wait, the Guys in White submarine Phonoi?" Dan asked, kinda surprised.
"Yes, dear brother. In my timeline, besides Valerie, the Phonoi was a nuisance to me. Commanded by their captain, good ol' Matias Hamilton." Dana said.
"Same in my timeline, but two years after I started my destruction." Dan said.
"I've tried to destroy that submarine many times but failed. Now, it seems that the Phonoi in this timeline has caught Danny and Danielle's attention thanks to us. This will sure be interesting." Dana said with a smirk.
"It is. I want to see what transpires between our pathetic good selves and Hamilton." Dan said with a evil grin.
"My liege, what about your plan?" Fright Knight asked.
"Ah, yes, can't forget that." Dan said.
"What plan do you have, brother?" Dana asked.
"Well, sister, Fright Knight said that the Staff should be repaired around two weeks, putting us out of action for a while. And since it's March, I've come to realized that when I get the Staff back, it will soon be the 14th anniversary of this Dis-asteroid Incident, the same day I escaped the first time." Dan said with a evil grin.
"I see where you're getting at. Every year on that day, millions of people will gather at Amity Park either for anti-ghost and anti half ghost demonstrations or parades to honor our goody two shoes. Pathetic." Dana said.
"And that is perfect for our plan. Imagine, these pathetic Humans coming to Amity Park and Team Phantom is gonna have to do all they can to save them all. And even better, you and I will finally have our revenge when all those people see their so-called hero Avengers Danny and Dani Phantom killed by us before their very eyes. They'll see what failures they are. However, I have a back plan that can be use against Danny, Danielle and their team. If you and I were to lose to Danny and Danielle, then hopefully, it should fuel anti-ghost, anti-half ghost and anti-Team Phantom sentiment due to the damage and deaths we will cause. Make half of the Earth's populace have hatred against Team Phantom, especially Danny and Danielle. It's the perfect plan. Either we win, killing Team Phantom and we rule the Earth and Ghost Zone, or lots of people will hate Team Phantom, especially Danny and Danielle." Dan said with a evil grin.
"I like it, brother. It's beautiful. I would prefer winning and killing Team Phantom, especially Danielle, but the other plan should we lose sounds beautiful as well." Dana said with a grin. "Now, what about our army? We're losing lots of our soldiers and pilots to Team Phantom."
"I'll create more soldiers when I get the Staff back. I will call back the troops so that Team Phantom can give Amity Park the all clear. That way, many people can come to the town." Dan said before looking at Fright Knight. "Fright Knight, head to Amity Park and call back the troops."
"Yes, my liege." Fright Knight said before leaving.
Dan and Dana then share a evil laugh together, confident that either of their two new plans shall not fail.
Meanwhile at Amity Park, Jack, Maddie, Sierra, Venus, the Phantom Blasters and Kayla were continuing to fight Dan and Dana's army, destroying many of the ghost soldiers and their armor vehicles. Sierra and Venus were blasting a large group of ghost skeleton soldiers while avoiding their fire. At the same time, Kayla has just slice a large group of ghost skeleton soldiers before a ghost tank was approaching her. Kayla then look behind her to see Sierra and Venus battling the other platoon of ghost skeletons and gets a idea.
"Sierra! Venus! Clear out of the way!" Kayla said.
"Alright, Your Highness." Sierra and Venus said.
Kayla then flew up before she grabs the barrel of the ghost tank's cannon. She then use her super strength to swing the tank at the ghost skeleton's smashing them, as well as destroying the tank.
"Geez, wish I was that strong." Venus said with a laugh.
"Sometimes, I don't know my own strength, even for the simplest and gentle things." Kayla said.
"Well, glad we got you with us." Sierra said.
Jack, Maddie and the Phantom Blasters then show up to regroup with the three women.
"Good job, everyone." Jack said.
"Still not over yet. We still got incoming." Maddie said as she points at another group of ghost skeleton soldiers.
Before the skeleton soldiers can attack, Fright Knight suddenly appear through one of the ghost portals, stopping the army in their tracks.
"Stand down! Under orders from Master Dan and Master Dana, return to the lair." Fright Knight said.
At that moment, the ghost skeleton soldiers flew towards the ghost portal, much to Team Phantom's confusion. Fright Knight look at Team Phantom.
"We'll be back, Team Phantom whelps. You can count on it and when we do, it will be a pleasure to destroy you all, especially you, Your Highness." Fright Knight said.
"Not on my hands." Kayla said.
Fright Knight however flew through the ghost portal, ending Dan and Dana's attack on the town for now.
"Now what?" David asked.
"We should head back to Fenton Works and inform the others what happen." Maddie said.
"Also need to know on Danny and Dani's situation with this Guys in White threat as well." Jack said.
With that, Jack, Maddie, Sierra, Venus, the Phantom Blasters and Kayla heads back to Fenton Works, where Sam, Jacob, Tucker, Valerie, Jazz and Manfred were at monitoring.
"Hey, guys. Manfred told us what happen." Jacob said.
"Yeah, Fright Knight appear all a sudden and told Dan and Dana's army to head back under their orders." Sierra said.
"Why would they do that? Dan and Dana wanted to give us a hard time by keeping those portals open." Valerie said.
"I don't know. They just stop fighting." Venus said.
"In all my years fighting in the war, I've never seen that type of behavior." Kayla said.
"Well, it is still best that all of you stay on alert. I will continue to monitor the Ghost Zone for any activity near the portals." Manfred said.
"I'll talk to the mayor about placing a perimeter around City Hall. Make sure civilians stay away from that area." Tucker said.
"Any news on Danny and Dani?" Maddie asked.
"Unfortunately, the Guys in White faction they were sent after escaped. They don't know where they went. They're on stand by." Jacob replied.
"Geez, how they escaped?" Trevor asked.
"They have a submarine." Jacob replied.
"Oh, that's not good." Victoria said.
"Unfortunately, we can't do anything about it. We just have to leave this submarine to Danny, Dani and the Air Force." Jacob said.
"Hope they find it and stop it. I have a bad feeling about the Guys in White having a sub." Jack said.
"While we wait, we have another problem on our hands." Jazz said.
"What's that?" David asked.
"The Dis-asteroid anniversary is coming up. Soon, millions of people will gather at Amity Park either for anti-ghost and anti half ghost demonstrations or parades to honor Danny and Dani. They'll still come regardless of the situation here. You all gotta find a way to make sure they don't go near City Hall and protect them." Jazz said.
"We just gotta hope Danny and Dani can come back soon and stop that faction. We're gonna have to wait for the next few days." Jacob said.
"Not to mention we got to wait for the arrival of the Supernatural Entities, and the draugrs are on full health." Jack said.
"Until then, we should clear Amity Park, clean up and just stay on alert." Sam said.
"Alright, let's get to work." Maddie said.
And that's the end of the chapter. Well, things are about to get interesting from this point forward, the sudden retreat, the backup plan and the upcoming Dis-asteroid Anniversary, not to mention the hunt for the Phonoi.
