Here's chapter 18 everybody.
Chapter 18: Ceuta Raid. (Part I)
At the Spanish autonomous city of Ceuta at Africa, where a massive Guys in White's White Fang naval fleet is at, Danny, Dani, Daniel and Jessica has arrived at the city, flying their F-22s at very low altitude, so close that Dani could see how close she was to the water.
"I can almost touch the water." Dani said.
"At least the Guys in White hasn't detected us yet. Springman, I can make out the city and enemy Guys in White fleet." Danny said as Booker once again communicates through the comlink.
"Altitude restriction lifted. Begin op!" Booker said.
"The food at this party's served buffet-style. Pick whatever dish you like before the host mounts a resistance!" AWACS Goodfellow said.
"With pleasure." Dani said with a smirk.
"Way ahead of you, Goodfellow." Danny said.
"Wilco! I'll eat their hearts out!" Jessica said.
"Sorry, Danny, but the juicy targets are all mine." Dani said.
"We'll see about that, little sis." Danny said.
Danny, Dani, Jessica and Daniel began their attack on the Guys in White fleet, destroying any ship that was docked at the port, which caught the attention of the Guys in White radar operator.
"Emergency! Four bogeys! ETA 2 minutes!" a Guys in White agent said.
"They're already here!" another Guys in White agent said as Danny sinks an Guys in White frigate.
"Enemy frigate destroyed!" Danny said.
"Nice, Danny! There's no enemy movement yet." Dani said.
"Let's take advantage of that while the Guys in White agents there are off guard." Danny said.
"Gobble up all high-value targets. Forget about your manners!" AWACS Goodfellow said.
"Never had any of those to begin with!" Jessica said.
"Same when it comes to food. Keep up those food references, Goodfellow." Dani said.
"Had to stay behind last time. This is gonna be a walk in the park! It's a good warm-up to get back in the game!" Daniel said.
As Danny, Dani, Jessica and Daniel proceeds to attack the fleet, General Hawkins was in contact with many high-ranking US officers at the Pentagon. Among them is Lieutenant General Thomas Davenport, who is Damian and Brooke's father as well as Jacob's uncle. Danny, Dani, Jessica and Daniel can hear the conversation of their superiors.
"Brigadier General Hawkins, about the Phantom Twins... You sure we'll get a positive result this time?" Thomas asked.
"Yes, Lieutenant General Davenport. Operation White Dawn is going as planned." General Hawkins said.
Danny has just destroyed a battle cruiser before he fired two missiles and fired his aircraft's machine gun at a ashore aegis building, which he managed to destroy it, along with its anti-aircraft defenses around it.
"AA defense system was destroyed before it was activated! This will makes things easier later." AWACS Goodfellow said.
"Until the enemy starts fighting back." Danny said.
Meanwhile, Dani fired her aircraft's machine gun while also firing two missiles at a docked cruiser. After a few shots, Dani managed to sink and destroy the cruiser. She then repeat to two docked destroyers before she managed to sink and destroy them as well, causing panic to the Guys in White agents on the ground.
"This is not a drill! I repeat, not a drill!" a Guys in White agent said.
"Say, Phantom 2, how long you think before the Guys in White retaliates back?" Danny asked.
"I'll give it 5 to 10 minutes before they start firing at us back." Dani replied.
As Phantom and Reaper squadrons continue their air raid, AWACS Goodfellow has picked up some Guys in White jets heading towards Ceuta, realizing that the Guys in White operatives at the ships and port are calling for their air support.
"Resistance from enemy air defenses confirmed, keep on dining. Just don't pay for it." AWACS Goodfellow said.
"Righto." Dani said.
As the air raid progresses, the Guys in White agents on the ground were setting up their anti-air defenses that haven't been destroyed yet. Some of the agents noticed the famous DP symbol on Danny and Dani's F-22s, making them realize that Danny and Dani are leading the attack. Still having a grudge and hoping to get revenge on Danny and Dani, they hope that they can destroy them once and for all.
"Begin firing SAMs!" a Guys in White fleet crew member ordered.
"Fools! They think they already won! Now's our chance!" a Guys in White agent said.
"Let's destroy Danny and Dani Phantom once and for all!" another Guys in White agent said.
"Now time for a counter strike!" a Guys in White pilot said.
Meanwhile, Danny and Dani worked together to destroy a pair of Aegis ships that were docked at the port. They were sunk and destroyed, causing more panic to the Guys in White agents as they are watching their fleet being destroyed by their biggest enemies.
"Why don't we have our fighters up there?!" a Guys in White agent asked.
"Just a little longer before they arrive." another Guys in White agent said.
Danny and Dani continue to destroy the fleet as Dani noticed how large the fleet is, as well as the main ground units the Guys in White has around the city. Dani wonder how they even got in the city in the first place without action from the Spanish government due to their status as a criminal organization.
"How many are there? Like a thousand enemies against the four of us?" Dani asked.
"You probably need to multiply that by ten." Daniel said.
"Well, they will have lesser numbers once this raid is over, and the Spanish authorities will take care of the rest." Danny said as he sank a cruiser.
"That's fine by me!" Dani said as she sunk another aegis ship.
Danny then gets a lock on a Guys in White aegis vessel. He once again fires his missiles and machine gun at it before a massive explosion destroys the ship.
"Target destroyed!" Danny said.
"Attack hit on Aegis vessel White Star! Ship destroyed!" AWACS Goodfellow said.
"We've got a big game hunter!" Jessica said.
"I got the next one!" Dani said.
"It's the last Aegis vessel, Dani. Go for it!" Danny said.
"Roger! Fox Two!" Dani said as she attacks the last Aegis vessel.
Dani then fires her missiles as well as her aircraft's gun at the Aegis vessel. She managed to destroy it before it can activate its defenses.
"Enemy ship destroyed!" Dani said.
"Aegis vessel White Beluga has been destroyed! The enemy's AA capabilities should be greatly reduced!" AWACS Goodfellow said.
Seeing all of their Aegis vessels sunk and destroyed, the Guys in White agents and fleet are ready to begin their counterattack, hoping to shoot the F-22s down before more damage can be done to their forces and fleet.
"Counterattack now!" a Guys in White agent ordered.
"There's too few of them! Look harder!" another Guys in White agent said
"We're keeping minimal personnel on board for damage control!" a Guys in White fleet crew member said.
"Negative! All personnel, abandon ship! Dang it, to lose the captain's ship like this...!" another Guys in White fleet crew member ordered.
At the same time the Guys in White are ready to start their counterattack, the Guys in White agent that detected Phantom and Reaper Squadron was trying to inform the captain of the flagship while trying to contact the Guys in White acting commander.
"Sir, there's a few of them, but they've done damage to the port and ships!" a Guys in White agent said.
"Command won't accept this report! Do whatever it takes to shoot them down!" a Guys in White fleet captain said.
While the Guys in White fleet was in a panic and still off guard, Danny and Dani once again work together to destroy one of the main Battle Cruisers that was trying to leave the dock and begin their counterattack. Danny and Dani managed to sink the ship.
"Enemy Battle Cruiser is being sent to the bottom!" Danny said.
"We still got more ships to sink! Can't let the Phonoi join up with them." Dani said.
"And send the Guys in White a message as well." Danny said.
"Yep, don't mess with Team Phantom." Jessica said.
Danny and Dani continue to destroy the fleet, having already destroyed half the fleet very quickly, much to the dismay of the agents on the ground.
"Half of our ships have either been sunk or stalled. Somebody do something about those Phantom freaks up there!" a Guys in White fleet crew member said.
Danny and Dani then flew their aircraft towards the city and proceed to shoot and destroy the Guys in White's anti-aircraft positions and ground units that were deployed and shooting back at them. Despite the AA fire, Danny and Dani destroy their targets, destroy tanks and Guys in White vehicles.
"30% of observed enemy forces destroyed." AWACS Goodfellow informed.
"Great! Keep it up!" Jessica said.
"We ain't done eating yet. Ain't that right, Danny?" Dani asked.
"Definitely. We still got lots of food to pick. Keep up the attacks." Danny said.
"Roger that." Dani said as she destroys another Guys in White ground unit, much to the dismay of the agents.
"We've lost contact with the second platoon!" a Guys in White agent said.
"If they're gone, that means we have less than half our forces left!" another Guys in White agent said.
"How many ships in port are still operational?" a Guys in White fleet captain asked.
"We've yet to assess damage, but likely less than half!" a Guys in White fleet crew member said.
"Ludicrous! They'll fill the port with scrap metal at this rate!" the Guys in White captain said.
As the battle continue to progress, Danny, Dani, Jessica and Daniel knows that General Hawkins is observing the battle while giving information to Lieutenant General Davenport and other high-ranking generals.
"Lieutenant General Davenport, we have a status report. 50% of the enemy forces have been neutralized." General Hawkins said.
"That's mostly the work of the Phantom Twins. You suggested a operation that doesn't rely on our ace pilots as well as two half ghost hybirds that are still civilians in our terms. You won't have many on board... unless you can convince them that we don't need the Phantom Twins." Thomas said, which made Hawkins uncomfortable with Thomas' response.
"... Yes, sir." General Hawkins said.
Danny and Dani then focus their attention to a group of docked frigates and two missile boats. The two easily destroy the three frigates before destroying the two missile boats, setting them ablaze as they sink.
"Alright! We've wiped out most of their forces in the urban area." Dani said.
"I still see some ships moving. Phantom 1, let's go for those." Jessica said.
"There's no need to go through the whole menu. Focus on the juicier targets!" AWACS Goodfellow said.
"Roger that! Here we go, Danny!" Dani said.
"Let's do it, Dani." Dani said.
Danny and Dani then destroyed a number of Guys in White ground units, now have destroying half of the Guys in White force.
"All hostile ships in the vicinity have been destroyed." AWACS Goodfellow said.
"Awesome! Keep it up, Phantom Squadron!" Jessica said.
"Radio chatter in that area have quieted down. Try a different location, Phantom Squadron. It looks like there are delicacies on other tables as well." AWACS Goodfellow said.
"Lancer has the eastern part to himself. Don't think he can go it alone." Jessica said.
"Danny, let's go!" Dani said.
"Already on it." Danny said.
As Danny and Dani flies to the eastern section of the port, they noticed more ships and the Guys in White ground forces launching a pair of drones to combat them.
"All aircraft, heads up, Guys in White force have launch unmanned combat drones. Stay sharp." Danny said.
"They shouldn't be a problem for us." Dani said.
Danny and Dani then fire a salvo of AIM-120 long-range missiles at the drones, destroying most of them before turning their attention to the Guys in White cruisers and destroyers that were firing at them. Danny and Dani managed to destroy the ships, impressing Thomas and the high-ranking generals.
"This is Davenport. It seems the Phantom Twins is showing a stellar performance. America and the Air Force has much need of them. That is the unanimous conclusion of those in this room, Brigadier General. Certainly not the result I'd predicted." Thomas said.
"I'm sorry, sir." General Hawkins said.
Danny and Dani smirked upon hearing the chatter between Hawkins and Thomas.
"Seems Jacob's uncle really like us, huh, Dani?" Danny asked.
"Of course he would. Like I said, dating his nephew." Dani said.
"Not to mention he is the father of Damian and Brooke." Danny said.
"Well, let's say we take out the rest of these Guys in White bozos." Dani said.
Danny and Dani continue to attack the Guys in White fleet that were stationed at the eastern part of the city, helping Daniel, who attack the eastern force at the start of the battle.
"Came in for a picnic, found ourselves in a marathon." Daniel said.
"I thought you said this was gonna be a walk in the park?" Dani said.
"Yeah, you did said that earlier, Lancer." Danny said.
"You take walks to, well, walk. But in a picnic... you have to eat." AWACS Goodfellow said.
"You don't have to tell me which you prefer." Dani said.
"Same can be said about you, little sis." Danny said.
As Dani attack more Guy in White forces, she noticed more ships docked at the port, some not even being warships.
"That's a shipyard over there." Dani said.
"This port is home to multiple enemy Guys in White fleets. Probably too much for Lancer's poor stomach." AWACS Goodfellow said.
"Dang straight. Danny, Danielle, lend me a hand, will ya?" Daniel said.
"Don't worry, Lancer. We got you covered." Danny said.
As AWACS Goodfellow was monitoring the raid, his radar picked up a large Guys in White air squadron approaching Ceuta, suspecting them to be the reinforcements that the Guys in White called for.
"Four Guys in White jets approaching. Bearing 130. Altitude 2,000!" AWACS Goodfellow said.
"Roger that." Danny and Dani said.
As the raid continues, the Guys in White's aerial squadron is approaching the city. The Guys in White pilots can make out the black plumes of smoke rising from their fleet.
"This is White Eagle. We'll buy time until our rear catches up!" a Guys in White pilot said.
"Stay back! You're not equipped for air-to-air!" another Guys in White pilot said.
"We've still got machine guns! Engaging!" the first Guys in White pilot said.
As Guys in White tries to stop Danny, Dani, Jessica and Daniel, who are continuing to attack, some of the local people were observing the raid, mainly those that were workers at the port before the Guys in White scare them off.
"That's a lot of ships lost. We're gonna make a fortune once this battle is over." a port worker said.
"Buy stock in salvage companies while you can." another port worker said.
Meanwhile, AWACS Goodfellow has picked up more Guys in White ground forces. He didn't think the Guys in White would have more ground units after the initial attack but still has to inform the two squadrons.
"Confirming additional ground forces." AWACS Goodfellow informed.
"Roger that, Goodfellow. Danny and I pretty much wrapped it up here in the eastern sector." Dani said.
"And about to take out the last ship. Fox Two!" Danny said as he fires missiles.
The missiles Danny fired managed to blast a hole at the ship's hull while the other directly hits the ship's magazine, setting off a massive explosion, destroying and sinking the vessel.
"Target destroyed! All ships destroyed at the eastern sector of the port." Danny said.
"Good, we've reduced enough of the enemy forces. Job well done." Booker said.
"That prime rib and truffle soup sure were good! But hold on, lunchtime's not over yet. Go grab some desserts!" AWACS Goodfellow said.
"I knew you'd say that!" Dani said.
"And you're making me hungry with those food puns, Goodfellow." Danny said.
With that, Danny and Dani, as well as Jessica and Daniel continue flying to rid of the remaining Guys in White forces, unaware of the threat that taking place beyond the horizon.
And that's the end of the chapter. Well, Phantom and Reaper squadrons definitely caught the Guys in White off guard in this air raid, but this is just getting started. And of course Thomas would like Danny and Dani. Anyway, a threat is lurking beyond the hoirzon. What will happen in the second part of the battle? Stay tuned for the next chapter. Please review. :)
