Anne, Sasha, their siblings, Grime, and the Plantars and toads are heading out on a quest to unlock the mysteries of the Calamity Box as they leave the cozy confines of Wartwood for the distant city of Newtopia. On their journey, they will visit exotic new locations, uncover hidden secrets, and experience unexpected reunions as they continue to search for a way to get them home.

17. Chapter 17

A/N: Hello. Finally, this chapter can come out. But this time, it'll have not one, not two, but THREE, that's right, THREE episodes in one chapter! Before we proceed with the triple threat of a chapter, on an unrelated note, let it be known that hoffjordanj has a message for you:

"Hello everyone, I know you all are upset of Disney CEO Bob Capek In 2021, It's because The Owl House was cancelled. But, maybe It would be better If The Owl House, Amphibia, & Gravity Falls would move to DreamWorks Animation & NBCUniversal, so It won't treat them badly."

In my opinion, I think it's too little, too late there, pal. The finale has already aired, so I guess there's really no point. Although, it is an interesting thought. of course, that's just my opinion. As for everyone else, what are yours? Anyway, back to the triple threat, enjoy.

Chapter 17

Act I: Maddie & the Wus

One day, Maddie was by herself as she was concocting a Corpse Revival potion in a cauldron, pink smoke rising from it and taking on purple skull shapes as they went up past the trees.

"Seed of swordspine, one cup of dirt from a widow's grave, add both to bubbling bog water, and finally, one half drop of worm snake venom. Steady... steady...", Maddie spoke, putting in said ingredients, even holding up a fang-shaped dropper of said venom over the cauldron.

Unfortunately, a few pollywogs named Rosemary, Lavender, and Ginger all hopped onto Maddie, making her accidentally spew out the venom quickly from the dropper.

"Maddie! Maddie! Maddie! Maddie! Maddie!", the trio shouted in unison before the venom hit, the plant, turning it into a snake first before it then turned into dust.

"Hi, Rosemary, Ginger, and Lavender. What are you doing here?", Maddie asked, unamused before they got off.

"Hey, sis! You promise you play with us, remember?", Rosemary asked.

"I'm in the middle of a spell. Can we play tomorrow?", Maddie asked.

"That's what you said yesterday.", Ginger groaned.

"Look, Mrs. Jonkins is counting on me to bring her pet, Fleafy, back to life.", Maddie explained, gesturing to a dead flea, which a crow with red compound eyes flew down towards with a caw before Maddie rushed to Fleafy and forced the crow to fly away.

"Hey, hey! Get out of here!", Maddie shouted.

Then, she turned to her sisters as she explained. Or at the very least started to...

"Necromancy is really advanced magic. It said that only level two witches can pull it off. I've only done level 1 spells up until now so-", Maddie began.

But Ginger wasn't interested.

"Boo! Magic is boring!", Ginger interrupted.

"And creepy. Let's play instead!", Lavender insisted.

"Remember when you used to juggle us?", Rosemary asked.

"Juggle us! Juggle us!", the trio shouted as they hopped.

"Fine, give me a few minutes to wrap this up, and we'll play.", Maddie sighed, closing the book.

"Yay!", the trio shouted as they hopped.

But it was actually...

3 HOURS LATER

By the time that amount of time passed, Maddie was slowly placing crumb after crumb of sand into the cauldron.

"Almost there...", Maddie spoke before laughing a bit excitedly.

Of course, her sisters were not impressed. If anything, they were bored.

"What happened to a few minutes?", Rosemary asked.

Just then, she spotted a log on top of a rock, nudged at Lavender, and pointed to it.

Excitedly, they ran over to the log and played on it. But when Ginger joined in, she and Rosemary inadvertently launched Lavender straight toward Maddie, hitting her in the head,

"Aah!", exclaimed Maddie.

Reeling from the knockback, she inadvertently flung the contents of the cauldron toward a tree, prompting Rosemary and Ginger to scream as they ran to avoid it.

"No! That took all morning!", Maddie shouted as Lavender gave a sad, teary-eyed look.

Just then, the tree that was hit with the yellow liquid, which spread all over before fading, awoke as a tree monster with limbs.

"Uh, oh.", Maddie spoke in worry before grabbing the triplets, who screamed, and taking off before the monster could get them.

Meanwhile, Marcy, Max, Alexis, Adam, Alex, and Jamie were in the forest.

"Crockside conifer. What a find!", Alexis beamed.

"And they said compiling a plant-cyclopedia would be boring.", Marcy grinned.

"Well, it still is, but less.", Max responded.

Just then, they heard Maddie and the Sisters screaming.

"That doesn't sound good.", Marcy stated.

"It's not. Someone could be in trouble.", Alexis responded before she and the Wus ran and arrived in time to find Finds Maddie and her sisters facing the tree.

Upon seeing Maddie toss a bag at the tree monster, which not only got reverted back to being a tree, but also wrapped spiky vines around it with a few flowers blooming, Marcy got excited.

"No froggin' way! A curse user?! Here?!", Marcy exclaimed.

"Wook.", Jamie spoke, pointing to Lavender, Rosemary, and Ginger, who looked a bit shocked as Maddie panted before she turned and lashed out at them (verbally, thank goodness).

"What's the matter with you three?!", Maddie snapped.

"We were just trying to play with you.", Rosemary explained before Maddie groaned.

"Well, now I definitely don't have time. Go home and help dad with the bakery or something. I swear, sometimes, I wish you three would grow up.", Maddie vented before the trio groaned sadly and hopped away, leaving Maddie to clean up the mess.

No one knew then that the Wu triplets, after looking sad for them, snuck off after the trio to keep them company.

"Okay, Marce. Be cool. Just get out there and introduce yourself with confidence.", Marcy grinned.

"I don't know, Marcy. Maybe we came at a bad time.", Alexis said.

"I think we should give her some space and...", Max concurred only to notice that Marcy had already left.

"She already left to introduce herself, didn't she?", Max sighed.

"Mm-hmm.", Alexis nodded before Marcy popped up in front of Maddie.

"Hi, there!", Marcy greeted, scaring Maddie, who tossed a curse bag at her.

"My name's Marcy!", Marcy greeted before the curse bag missed and hit the ground, igniting a green flame just behind her with Marcy then suddenly falling into the ground.

"Marcy!", Max and Alexis shouted before helping her up.

"Oh, oops. You're Anne's friend, right?", Maddie asked.

"As a matter of fact, she is. And we are her siblings.", Max replied.

"Oh, my gosh! That was the coolest thing ever! Some kind of low-grade fire curse?", Alexis asked excitedly, intriguing Maddie.

"I'm impressed you knew that! Do you also have an interest in the dark arts?", Maddie asked.

"Me and Alexis both! We've read every Cynthia Coven book, five times! We searched all over Newtopia for someone who could teach us, but magic users are so rare these days.", Marcy explained.

"I even finished making a potion for a cooling potion!", Alexis beamed.

"You did?! Wow! No one's ever interested in what I do! They usually run away screaming!", Maddie said, even more impressed.

"Mainly because of the catastrophic damage they cause.", Max responded.

"Baby, we're running towards you! How do you feel about that?", Marcy asked.

"I'm feeling like a beautiful friendship is about to start. Wanna be my apprentice and help me bring a dead flea back to life?", Maddie asked.

"Do we ever!", Marcy and Alexis say in unison as the former put her bang over her right eye and laughed with Maddie.

"That can't be good.", Max spoke worriedly.

Little did anyone know, Rosemary, Lavender, and Ginger were watching, squinting with suspicion, if not jealousy.

"Psst. Ovew hewe.", Jamie whispered before the three triplets turned to see Adam, Jamie, and Alex.

"Wanna pway with us?", Jamie asked, making them excited.

"Do we ever!", Maddie's sisters spoke whisperingly in excited unison.

Later, the Wus were with Maddie, who handed Marcy the list.

"So, what do we need?", Max asked.

"If we're gonna bring this flea back to life, we need a few more ingredients. First up, bile of a vomit bird.", Maddie said before a bogbird, its bile of which is on the top of the list, stopped up ahead with its stomach growling before it groaned.

Maddie then got out a jar. Then, the bogbird hiccuped and then spewed out its bile like vomit all over the Wus and Maddie. Only Max was visibly disgusted as Maddie, Alexis and Maddie simply laughed. Then, with the Swordspine and Golden Coral already collected on the list, they moved on to the next ingredient.

"Then, some big ol' ticks.", Maddie said.

"Ticks?!", Max exclaimed before moving away just right after Marcy clenched on the branches, causing ticks to pop up and fall out on Marcy, Alexis, and Maddie, who laughed at first before they screamed and bumped into each other.

Later, the 4 were now at a sort of ranch with 2 corpses present.

"What's next on the list now...?", Max asked.

"A really rotted corpse.", Maddie responded.

"I was afraid of that...", Max sighed.

"No. No. Hey, perfect!", Maddie spoke as first, she saw the corpse of a dead fish, which was fresher compared to the next one, which turned out to be a skeleton of some kind of animal, before then seeing Hop Pop next.

"Wait. Hop Pop?!", Max asked in surprise.

"Did you girls mistake me for a corpse?!", Hop Pop asked, offended.

"Of 'corpse' not, Hop Pop.", Marcy joked before he tossed a boot at them and missed as they ran.

"Sorry, Hop Pop!", Alexis shouted as she ran.

Later, the 4 were now at a graveyard.

"Fresh soil from a graveyard.", Maddie said as Marcy and Maddie were digging up soil from the graveyard as Alexis and Max were next to the grieving patrons who watched.

"Sorry, everyone.", Max apologized.

"It's for a good cause.", Alexis added.

Moments later, assorted mantis limbs were now collected.

"Assorted limbs.", Maddie said.

"And lastly, a high-five from your new best buds.", Maddie spoke as she read it aloud as the new ingredient she added, marked with a red marker, before she, Maddie, and Alexis high-fived each other.

"Well, that one's safer than the others.", Max said.

"You know, that reminds me. Since you finished the cooling potion, any chance you could all help me get one last ingredient for my other potion? I have all the other ingredients for it, but there's only one missing now.", Maddie requested.

"Well, what is it?", Max asked.

"Just this.", Maddie, holding out her other list to show "Torodog Drool".

"Seriously? Drool of a Torodog?! No. No way! We're not doing that! Do you have any idea how big a Torodog is?", Max asked.

"That's why I made a few growth potions. To make it easier to collect it.", Maddie explained.

"You're insane! We're not doing it!", Max only shouted before Marcy and Alexis' shadows grew larger above Max.

"And they already took those growth potions, didn't they?", Max sighed before he saw both Marcy and Alexis as giants, whose clothes were now torn in some places in a 50-ft. woman-esque fashion.

"Why do I even bother?", Max asked.

"Do you have anything big and red by any chance?", Marcy asked.

"As a matter of fact...", Maddie began.

Moments later, a torodog was sleeping up until Alexis called out to it.

"Hey! Toro!", Alexis shouted, puzzling it.

"Toro, toro!", Alexis shouted before then showing a big red cape, which made Torodog ticked before it then rammed toward her.

"Ole!", Alexis shouted as she lifted the cape up in the nick of time with Marcy then grabbing the torodog by the horns.

"Get the jar ready, Lexy.", Marcy grunted.

"Got it!", Alexis responded, getting said jar out.

"Alley-oop!", Marcy grunted, lifting it up by said horns and causing his drool to come out, pouring into said jar.

"Okay, that's good, Mar-Mar!", Alexis said.

Then, Marcy lowered the Torodog back onto its resting spot.

"Sorry to bother you like that. Gotta go.", Marcy waved before she and Alexis left with a jar full of Torodog drool, leaving the bewildered creature behind.

As for Max, from seeing this just now, he took note of how happy they looked.

"They do look pretty happy doing this, don't they?", Max pondered to himself.

Meanwhile, the Wu triplets played with Rosemary, Ginger, and Lavender everywhere they could. For one, they were playing hide and seek, using trees for cover and laughing together as Alex found Ginger first, making her giggle. Next up, they even played on the see-saw. Then, they played tag.

"Tag, you're it!", Rosemary spoke before taking off as Jamie smirked before zooming in after her.

She quickly caught up and tagged her back.

"No tagbacks!", Jamie shouted before running with a laugh.

And finally, they were even playing juggling with Adam and Alex hopping under the triplets to keep the juggling going, making them laugh.

Later, Maddie and the Wus were now heading back to Maddie's house with both triplets already inside.

"It's them!", Adam grinned, peeping out the window.

"Well, this is me. I hope my sisters are asleep. I do not want to deal with them right now.", Maddie groaned.

"What's wrong with your little sisters?", Alexis asked.

"It's a long story.", Maddie began.

Then, it flashed back to when Maddie had both of her eyes showing and was wearing a familial apron as she juggled her sisters. But then, one night, she was reading a book that piqued her interests as her sisters hopped around near her. Later, she even had one bang over her right eye like she does now, even giving herself a ponytail before writing some kind of note, much to the sad chagrin of her sisters, which had to be shown out the door of her bedroom, which was closed in front of them, before going to the present as she explained.

"I used to play with them all the time. Especially, juggling; that was their favorite. Then, I got my own interests. Magic became my passion, my calling. I didn't have time to waste on kids stuff anymore. And ever since then, they've been so annoying.", Maddie explained.

"As someone who goes hard into her hobbies, I relate. Although, our sisters are more needy. And since Mom and Dad are at work oftentimes, it's up to me to look after them.", Marcy admitted.

"We even pitch in to help from time to time, too.", Max added as Alexis nodded in agreement.

"There were some rough patches, but at the end of the day, sometimes the payoff is worth it. So, don't you think you should still make time for them occasionally?", Marcy asked.

"Nonsense. Being a witch is a big responsibility, Marcy. I've got more important things to do now than babysit.", Maddie replied.

"Well, you are the master. But don't say we didn't warn ya. See you at the sacrificial grove tomorrow for an unholy ritual!", Marcy grinned before she, Alexis, and Maddie did their own unique handshake.

"Creepy spiders!", Maddie, Marcy, and Alexis spoke together before Marcy and Alexis squealed.

"Can't wait!", Marcy grinned as she and Alexis left as Max grinned before realizing something.

"Wait. Where are the triplets?", Max asked.

"You mean they were here with you?", Maddie asked.

"They were. But we haven't seen them all day. I'd better catch up with Marcy and Lexy and let them know. See you, Maddie.", Max spoke as he left, not knowing that while the Wu triplets were watching, puzzled, if not a little appalled, Rosemary, Lavender, and Ginger were watching, too, but they groaned in jealousy.

"They didn't even know we were thewe the whole time?", Alex puzzled.

"I can't believe it! Maddie replaced us?", Rosemary shouted in shock.

"Why did she want to hang out with that stupid old lady and a girl her age?", Ginger puzzled, holding out a drawing of Marcy and Alexis, both of which were crossed out in a red X.

"Hey! Ouw sibwings awen't that old.", Adam glared.

"An another thing, I don't think Maddie's wepwacing you. She just needs some space.", Jamie added.

"I wish we were older. And then, Maddie would want to play with us like she used to.", Lavender groaned.

Then, Rosemary got an idea.

"That's it! That's it! That's it! We just have to use one of Maddie's witchy spells to grow up!", Rosemary realized.

"Grow up?", Lavender puzzled.

Ginger got the gist of what it'd supposedly mean for them.

"And then we'll be older and Maddie will want to play with us again!", Ginger grinned.

"Yeah!", Rosemary and Lavender grinned.

But the Wu triplets did not like the idea at all as their cackling made them uncomfortable.

"Night, girls!", Mr. Flour spoke before Mrs. Flour popped up next.

"Sleep tight!", Mrs. Flour added.

"Eat some bed bugs tonight.", Rosemary, Lavender, and Ginger responded with innocent eyes before the light was turned off.

The next day, Mr. and Mrs. Flour were checking on the bread as Maddie came downstairs.

"Good morning, Maddie.", Mr. Flour greeted, not turning around.

"Hey, Mom. Dad, have you seen my spell book? I need to perform a level 2 resurrection with my apprentices.", Maddie puzzled.

"Well, I think I saw your sisters and Marcy's triplets with it.", Mr. Flour responded, making Maddie widen her eyes.

"Aah! Marcy's triplets?! Here?!", Maddie exclaimed.

"Yeah. For a sleepover.", Mrs. Flour responded.

"I'm gonna kill them!", Maddie shouted as she hurriedly ran back upstairs.

"Wait! I think we need to talk about this!", Mrs. Flour shouted as she ran after her.

"Well, make sure you resurrect them when you're done.", Mr. Flour called.

Inside the room, Maddie entered just in time to see one of Maddie's sisters tried drawing on the book only for Adam to stop her by placing a piece of paper on top of the page, much to her puzzled surprise before turning to see Adam giving a thumbs-up. She also saw Lavender mixing a potion in a honey-pot.

"What have I told you about playing with my stuff?!", Maddie shouted.

"We're not playing, we're making a witchy spell.", Lavender responded as Maddie picked her spellbook up and surveyed the only possible damage so far as every other page was fine.

"Oh, what did you do to my book?! It's ruined!", Maddie said, panicked.

"Not all of it.", Adam assured.

"It's onwy one page. We can fix it.", Alex added, getting out a patch of clear tape, no one knowing that a dark, black mist peeped out over the window.

"You guys, Max has been worried sick about you since he left.", Maddie responded.

"He has?", Adam, Jamie, and Alex spoke in unison.

"Yeah. And as for you 3, this is why I don't spend time with you anymore! You're just lucky it was only a torn page, so I'll give you a pass. This time. After I bring Fleafy back, I'm coming back later to patch the spell book up, and please. Do NOT touch it anymore than you already have. You guys keep an eye on my sisters in case they try anything funny.", Maddie spoke before she and the Wu Triplets left with Rosemary, Ginger, and Lavender with the honey pot.

"Won't be a problem for much longer.", Rosemary grinned as she, Ginger, and Lavender turned to each other and then cackled again, turning to the Wu Triplets.

"Uh.. what awe you doing?", Jamie asked.

"What does it look like we're doing? We're growing up.", the Flour triplets cackled in unison before the sisters cackled and hopped over to the Wu triplets (unaware that the black mist was seeping in through the cracks and moving in towards the 6 children).

"NO!", the Wu triplets shouted as the Flour triplets poured the growth spell all over them and themselves as well, starting to grow big just as the black mist passed through them at the same time.

Meanwhile, as Maddie went outside, Mrs. Flour stopped her.

"Huh? What's up, Mom?", Maddie asked.

"Maddie, I know what you're doing and I have to say: I'm pretty disappointed in you.", Mrs. Flour said sadly.

"Look, Mom, now's not really a good time to play with them. I have a very important mission to complete for Mrs. Jonkins. I can't do that if they keep distracting me.", Maddie sadly explained.

"Maddie, I know you want to keep your promise for Mrs. Jonkins, but are you sure you're going about this the right way?", Mrs. Flour asked.

"I'll try to make time for them after I bring Fleafy back to life.", Maddie assured before leaving.

"I hope so, Maddie...", Mrs. Flour sighed.

A moment later, Marcy, Alexis, and Max arrived, looking worried.

"Still no luck finding them?", Maddie asked.

"No. We've looked all night.", Marcy responded.

"And almost everywhere.", Alexis added before noticing Maddie giving a bit of a disgruntled look.

"You okay?", Marcy asked.

"Yeah. 'Cause it seems like you look tired.", Max added.

"I'm so done with my sisters. Look what they almost did to my spell book!", Maddie said, holding up the spell book.

"Yeesh.", Marcy responded.

"Good thing it was just the one page.", Alexis added.

"Whatever. They're just lucky it was just the one page. It would've gotten worse if your triplets didn't stop them, anyway, so...", Maddie responded.

"Wait. You mean to tell me that they were in your house the whole time?!", Max exclaimed.

"Hey, I just found out today. Besides, with your triplets keeping an eye on my sisters, they won't stop me from reaching level two.", Maddie responded.

"But they're only 2! And a half!", Max exclaimed.

"Actually, their 3rd birthday is coming up soon.", Marcy stated.

"And they've been getting surprisingly smart, little by little, recently.", Alexis added.

"Still, that's a technicality! And... wow. I think you're right. I noticed that.", Max said.

"Anyway, let's get to resurrecting.", Maddie said.

A moment later, Maddie, Marcy, Alexis, and Max were dressed in mad scientist cloaks with Maddie pouring a purple liquid on Fleafy's dead body. Not long after, a purple light illuminated around the body before dimming. Just then, the left side of Fleafy's mustache moved.

"Wait for it... It could be just a slight breeze.", Alexis warned.

Suddenly, Fleafy's body shook before hopping up with a bark and rolled over with a panting wheeze, making Maddie, Marcy, Alexis, and Max gasp in surprise.

"It's alive...! It's alive!", Max shouted before laughing maniacally, causing everyone to look at him.

"What? I've always wanted to say that.", Max admitted.

"We did it! We did it! I'm finally a level 2 witch!", Maddie spoke excitedly.

But the joy wasn't exactly to last. Maddie quickly noticed a growing shadow and looked up.

"Huh?", Maddie asked.

Shockingly, that shadow came from a very big Ginger, falling down toward them.

"MADDIE!", Ginger shouted in a very deep voice.

The sight made Maddie, Marcy, Alexis, and Max scream in surprise.

"Hit the deck!", Max shouted before all but one hopped away.

"Fleafy!", Alexis shouted before grabbing Fleafy and jumping away from impact just as Ginger landed.

"Lexy!", Max and Maddie shouted.

"Holy cow!", Marcy said in surprise.

"Are you okay, Lexy?", Max asked.

"Yeah. I'm all right... We both are. Aren't we, Fleafy?", Alexis asked before Fleafy barked in reply.

"I'll take that as a yes.", Alexis responded before the smoke cleared to show a giant-sized Ginger.

"FOUND YOU!", Ginger spoke excitedly.

"Wait, Ginger?!", Maddie exclaimed before the Wu triplets arrived, just as enlarged.

"You, too, guys?!", Maddie shouted.

"What happened to you?!", Alexis exclaimed.

"Sowwy.", Adam apologized.

"We twied to stop them.", Alex and Jamie added.

"YOU WANTED US GROWN UP.", Ginger began just before Rosemary and Lavender appeared near her.

"SO, HERE WE ARE!", Rosemary added, she and her sisters starting to grow bigger in a green light for a moment.

"Oh, no they didn't!", Maddie reacted.

"Didn't what?", Marcy asked.

"COME ON, MADDIE. PLAY WITH US!", Lavender spoke before they both jumped up excitedly.

"HIDE AND SEEK!", the Flour triplets shouted together.

However, Maddie and the Wus screamed as they all ran before the trio landed, just missing them.

"Hey! You weave them awone!", Adam shouted.

"WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL? WE'RE JUST PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK.", Rosemary asked in a deep voice as she and her sisters were growing bigger with ridges starting to grow on them and their eyes starting to glow a dim orange and horns starting to grow, albeit small, before leaving to continue their game.

This ticked Adam and his brothers off as their eyes started to glow a dim orange as well as in the meantime, as Maddie and the older Wus hid behind a house.

"What the heck is going on?", Max asked.

"That's insane!", Alexis added.

"Yeah, why would they curse themselves with some half-baked growth spell?", Marcy asked.

As Maddie heard those words, it started to click for her.

"Oh, no! It's because I told them they needed to grow up! They only did this to spend more time with me, and it's bad, really bad! They did the spell all wrong!", Maddie realized.

"How can you tell?", Max asked.

"Because your triplets and mine are still growing! A curse like that should be done already. At this rate, they're going to balloon until they explode!", Maddie explained.

"WHAT?!", the Wus exclaimed before Rosemary leaned over and spotted the four.

"FOUND YOU!", Rosemary spoke eagerly, making Maddie scream.

"Oh, no! They're becoming more monstrous, too!", Alexis shouted.

"NOW, WE HIDE...", Ginger added before Lavender landed on top of the house.

"...AND YOU SEEK.", Lavender added as she, Rosemary, and Ginger grew bigger and darker, not to mention more ridgier, before they all laughed until the Wu triplets, in the same boat as them, knocked the Flour triplets off and away from Maddie, Marcy, Max, and Alexis, coincidentally near a blue frog, who screamed as he hopped away before they could land on him.

"OH. ARE WE PLAYING TAG ALREADY?", Rosemary asked.

"I said, 'weave them awone'!", Adam shouted, sounding mad as he and his brothers grew bigger again, even more ridgier than before as the orange eyes grew brighter and the horns grew larger.

"I'LL TAKE THAT AS A 'YES'. YOU GUYS ARE IT!", Rosemary said as they grew bigger in the same condition before hopping over to town with the Wu triplets chasing after them.

However, as they hopped, the Flour triplets wound up destroying the town by bouncing on the fountain as well as on the house, lifting a lamppost, and even lifting a house as someone was in the middle of showering, much to the Wu triplets' behest.

"Stop that!", Adam shouted, pushing Ginger back from the demolished house.

"Put it back!", Alex shouted, knocking Rosemary back with the lamppost being put back down.

"Sowwy, ma'am!", Jamie apologized, moving Lavender back with the house being set back down.

In the midst of it all, as everyone else ran, all 6 triplets grew bigger and ridgier, not to mention darker to the point of having an almost black skin color with the faintest hint of blue, worrying all of them.

"Uh, guys? What's happENING TO US?", Jamie asked, his voice starting to deepen before his other 2 brothers noticed, too, gasping at the sight.

"We doN'T KNOW!", the other 2 panicked.

"WOW... WE'RE BIG. MAYBE A LITTLE TOO BIG?", Rosemary asked worriedly.

"HEY, UH, GUYS? HOW MUCH BIG ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET?", Ginger asked.

"I DON'T KNOW, BUT I DON'T LIKE IT. MAKE IT STOOOOOP.", Lavender replied, her voice getting distorted and deeper before soon, all 6 grew ridgier enough to be considered scaley, their tails growing longer spikey before their horns fully manifested with flames spurting out from the inside, their faces growing draconic, and their eyes becoming completely blank orange before they all roared, giving off a burst of flames, which not only forced some remaining citizens to flee, but also burnt the mob, leaving them covered in soot, especially Polly, who carried a little shovel.

The flames even passed through and burnt both the tulips and Steve, leaving him covered in soot with what used to be Lavender, sneering at him with a growl.

"You burned tulips.", Steve glared before the monstrous beast roared, blowing Steve away.

As the other 5 beasts roared as well, Anne, Sasha, and their respective siblings saw what was going on in Wartwood from in the Plantar's house.

"What the heck?!", Anne, Jackie, and Rose exclaimed.

"6 monsters? In one town? What are they?", Sasha asked.

"We have to get to Wartwood fast.", Alison urged.

"Yeah.", Pat nodded.

Meanwhile, Maddie, Marcy, Max, and Alexis noticed this, too. And they were just as horrified.

"Is that what you meant by exploding?", Max asked.

"No. This isn't right, either! We gotta do something!", Maddie exclaimed.

"But what can we do?", Alexis asked, worried.

"Come with me!", Maddie urged before Marcy and her siblings followed her.

"Right behind you, teach!", Marcy grinned.

"As if we have any other choice.", Max added before the 6 beasts roared again.

Soon, they arrived back at Maddie's lair with Maddie hurriedly making a potion.

"All right, master. We got all the ingredients for the antidote.", Alexis assured.

"Good. Max, I'm gonna need you to make 9 doses while we calm them down.", Maddie stated.

"What? But I'm not ready for that kind of potion-making, let alone any kind of necromancy. Wait, did you just say 9?", Max asked.

"But why...?", Marcy began before realizing something.

"Oh! I think I know why.", Marcy responded as Alexis nodded.

"Yes. Because 3 of them is for us!", Maddie said before she then used the potion on Marcy, Alexis, and herself, causing themselves to grow, much to Max's shock.

"I just hope you all know what you're doing!", Max shouted.

Meanwhile, the 6 monsters were wreaking havoc across town when suddenly, Maddie, Marcy, and Alexis stepped in, causing the 6 monsters to stop and snarl toward Maddie as they turned to see the 3 giants.

"ROSEMARY, LAVENDER, GINGER, I'M HERE.", Maddie called in a deep voice, causing a couple of birds to fly away.

However, in response, all 6 vehemently roared in a beastly manner, truly making it a sound heard round the world, as flames burst out wildly from their horns before all dashing toward Maddie while Marcy and Alexis tackled half of them while the rest dashed toward Maddie and pressed their claws against Maddie's face, smacking her against the ground before roaring again.

"LISTEN, WHATEVER'S MAKING YOU DO THIS, YOU CAN'T LET IT WIN! YOU HAVE TO FIGHT IT!", Maddie pleaded.

Unfortunately, the beast did not listen and tossed Maddie aside before roaring again. As for Marcy and Alexis, they kept the 3 other beasts pinned down as they, too, roared.

"Listen! Adam, Jamie, Alex! We're all okay! Everyone's going to be okay!", Marcy shouted, her voice more echoey than deep.

"You can calm down now!", Alexis added.

After a moment, they started to slow down, the flames on their horns going out as smoke before the horns broke off, the ridges disappeared, and their skin color returned to normal, leaving them in the same form back from during the first Blue Moon Night.

"Whew... Thanks fow hewping us, guys.", Adam grinned.

"No problem. That's what siblings do for each other.", Alexis assured.

Just then, the other 3 beasts roared as they charged toward Maddie, who then had to hold one of them back in a handlock.

"OKAY, I GET IT. YOU GUYS ARE TOTALLY MAD AT ME. I THINK YOU GOT THAT POINT ACROSS.", Maddie said, struggling for a moment before the beast she was holding back roared and pushed harder, even tightening its grip on Maddie's hands, making her yell out in pain before she got lifted up and clawed toward the trees by one of the other 2 beasts, landing on them and sending several birds flying away.

"OW...! YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO HIT THAT HARD...", Maddie groaned before the three beasts roared vehemently.

"Maddie, no!", Marcy and Alexis shouted in worry.

Meanwhile, seeing how possibly too far gone her sisters are now, Maddie sighed in defeat.

"I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED THAT FOR BEING THE WORST SISTER EVER... BECAUSE OF ME, YOU THREE EXPLODED INTO MONSTERS. I GOT SO CAUGHT UP WITH MY WITCH STUFF THAT I FORGOT BEING A GOOD OLDER SISTER IS MY RESPONSIBILITY, TOO. YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE MAD AT ME. I'M MAD AT ME. LET ME HAVE IT. REALLY. I DESERVE IT.", Maddie sighed, ready to embrace her karmic fate at being destroyed by those who were once her sisters.

The beasts roared in compliance and all charged toward Maddie with which to attack and destroy her. But suddenly, Alex shouted.

"NO!", Alex shouted before knocking the beast up into the air and flying away only to then be kicked back toward Alex by Jamie.

Then, 2 more beasts were the next to be knocked up and away before being kicked toward Alex. This infuriated the beasts to no end at first. But as it went on, it slowly reminded them of juggling with their rage turning to annoyance to a small smile to a growling snicker to a roar of laughter, much to Maddie's astonishment.

"WHAT THE...? HOW ARE YOU...?", Maddie began.

Even Marcy and Alexis were surprised as they realized something.

"Of course! Hey! Remember when you used to juggle them?!", Marcy shouted.

This made Maddie gasp as she realized something, too.

"YEAH. I DO!", Maddie realized before turning to the 3 laughing beasts.

"GUYS, IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, NOW MIGHT BE A GOOD TIME. LISTEN, I'M SORRY FOR NEGLECTING YOU ALL. ALL THOSE TIMES I GOT ANGRY WITH YOU FOR MAKING MISTAKES YESTERDAY AND TODAY, I NEVER REALIZED UNTIL NOW THAT I'M THE ONE WHO MADE A MISTAKE. I SHOULD'VE MADE TIME FOR YOU THREE. BUT NOW, I'M GONNA MAKE UP FOR IT.", Maddie grinned, getting ready to catch them.

"NOW, GUYS!", Maddie shouted.

"You heawd hew! Wewease the twipwet monsters!", Adam called before Jamie then kicked the 3 beasts toward Maddie, who started juggling, continuing to make them laugh.

Meanwhile, Max was running toward where the giant Maddie is before stopping.

"Oh, I hope I got this grappling hook thing down...", Max spoke before aiming and firing right at Maddie's rope belt.

"Yeah!", Max shouted before turning to Fleafy.

"Fleafy, I need you to stay here, okay, boy?", Max requested before going up to the rope and climbing up on Maddie's shirt while she was juggling the 3 monsters now pacified by laughter.

"CROSSHAND SHUFFLE. AROUND THE SWAMP. THREE-WOG MONTY.", Maddie spoke while juggling said 3 monsters with Max having finally climbed up.

"Maddie, get ready!", Max shouted, earning Maddie's nod.

Then, Max tossed one bag at the first monster triplet, turning her back into Rosemary, normal size, voice, and all.

"Whoo-hoo!", Rosemary cheered before being sent down while the 2nd landed with another bag administered to it, changing it back to Lavender.

"Boom!", Lavender shouted before being sent down as well with the 3rd and final monster landing and being turned back into Ginger.

"Whoo!", Ginger cheered before being sent down.

"Maddie, we need to cure Marcy and the others, too!", Max urged.

"YOU GOT IT. HANG ON.", Maddie said before she jumped up, allowing Max to aim and fire at Marcy and the others, turning them back to normal before Max then cured Maddie as well with everyone landing on the ground as Maddie caught her three sisters.

"Yay!", Rosemary, Lavender, and Ginger cheered.

"Are you guys, okay?", Marcy asked.

"Yeah. Thanks to you guys...", Jamie grinned.

Just in time, too. Anne, Sasha, and their siblings charged into battle only to become puzzled.

"Huh? What the...? Where'd they go?!", Anne puzzled.

"You mean the monsters? We took care of it.", Marcy assured.

"Wait, what?", Anne and the others puzzled.

"What did we miss?", Alison asked.

"Yeah, it's kind of a long story.", Alexis blushed.

"Nice job with those antidotes, apprentices.", Maddie grinned.

"What can I say? I had a good teacher.", Marcy responded.

"I think you meant that we did.", Max grinned.

"Mm-hmm.", Alexis nodded, making Maddie blush.

"Maddie?", the Flour sisters asked.

"We heard what you said before.", Rosemary began.

"But I guess we were so monstrous that we couldn't control ourselves.", Lavender began.

"And that mean baddie Melkor was scary and told us that we're his pawns. Whatever those are.", Ginger added.

"Wait, what?! Melkor?!", Anne, Sasha, Marcy, and their siblings exclaimed before the Flour triplets gave their cutest sad eye look ever.

"We're sorry.", the sisters apologized humbly.

"No, I'm the one who should be sorry. And if you heard everything, I think you all know why, so there's really no point in explaining it again.", Maddie responded.

Then, the sisters hopped over to Maddie and hugged her.

"We forgive you. And we love you, Maddie.", the 3 triplets grinned, making Maddie grin, too.

"I love you, too, you little scamps.", Maddie responded, hugging them back.

Marcy shed a tear and wiped it away, even moving her bang away from her hair.

"Now, that's magic.", Marcy grinned as Alexis did the same and nodded.

Just then, everyone became surprised from seeing Fleafy walking up to Max.

"Wow. Who's that? Did you get a pet?", Pat asked.

"Well, he's not mine. But his name is Fleafy, a dead flea we brought back to life.", Max explained.

"Bring it in, Fleafy, you crazy freak of nature.", Marcy grinned as she and Maddie hugged Fleafy.

Unfortunately, Fleafy got hugged so hard that is head popped off his corpse.

"Fleafy!", almost everyone shouted.

"Uh, yeah...! I can see that!", Anne shuddered.

"It's okay. We can probably fix that.", Alexis assured before taking the head and putting it back on Fleafy's body, making him bark with joy.

"There we go.", Alexis grinned.

"Gah, I missed a lot!", Alison shouted.

Just then, a mailman came in.

"Delivery for Wartwood, delivery today.", the mailman sang, walking up to Anne and the others.

"Huh? Why is he walking towards us?", Anne asked.

"Oh, right! Duh! I was waiting for a message from the toad council.", Sasha realized before then going up to the mailman, who gave her said letter.

"Take it, friends. Arm yourselves with knowledge.", the mailman spoke in a gruff voice before leaving as he sang in a friendly voice again.

"Yeesh.", Sasha spoke before opening the letter, widening her eyes in surprise.

"No way, what?!", Sasha exclaimed.

"What is it, Sash?", Jackie asked.

"Yeah, what is it?", Rose asked.

"Everyone, grab your friends and pack your bags. We're going back to Toad Tower.", Sasha urged determinedly.

Act II: Barrel's Warhammer

Later, on the North Tower, in a chamber full of not only toads sitting on raised bleachers and facing a central stage in which Captain Bufo: Lord of the East Tower, Captain Beatrix: Lord of the West Tower, and Captain Aldo: Lord of the North Tower all sat together on one side of the room, but also the Plantars, Sundews, Olivia, and Yunan. The room was filled with quiet chatter as everyone waited for something to happen.

"So, the disgraced Captain Grime called this council meeting? Does anyone have any idea why?", Captain Bufo asked.

"Maybe he wants to be surrounded by friends when he gets arrested. What do you think, Aldo?", Captain Beatrix asked.

But Captain Aldo did not respond. A beetle popped into one of his eye sockets and out the other.

"Uh, is he asleep or dead?", Bufo asked.

"Definitely smells dead.", Beatrix guessed before she and Bufo both laughed, the latter slamming his fist against the table.

Up on the stage, Braddock pulled apart the curtains and peeked through nervously before closing the curtains and turning back to her companions.

"How's it looking, Braddock?", Alison asked.

"Not exactly a welcoming crowd.", Braddock said.

"Especially that Captain Beatrix! What's her problem?", Percy asked.

"You took the words right out of my mouth, Percy.", Anne concurred.

"Her problem is that she's my sister. And I may have teased her quite a bit when we were tadpoles.", Grime responded.

"What?!", Braddock exclaimed.

"WHAT?!", everyone else except Percy exclaimed.

"Get out!", Percy shouted, starting to hyperventilate.

"Dude. Seriously.", Pat glared.

"That's it! Stick a fork in us. We're done.", Braddock spoke, panicking.

Then, Sasha put a hand each on Braddock and Percy's shoulders.

"Enough loser talk. We can do this. Just remember what we practiced and keep your eye on the prize.", Sasha responded.

"Yeah. The sooner we get the army, the sooner we can help stop Melkor and his orcs once and for all.", Jackie agreed, Rose nodding in agreement.

"Ooh! That reminds me... I have one last touch for our outfits.", Percy grinned as he went over to his bag and retrieved a paintbrush and palette.

Percy then painted an eye symbol on the cloaks of each of his friends. The symbol drawn was a circle with two lines poking out of opposite ends and a single dot in the middle.

"Now, we really are a team.", Percy grinned.

"One eye. I see what you did there.", Grime grinned.

"Whoa! That looks really cool, Percy.", Anne grinned.

"Yeah. Have you considered taking art classes?", Marcy asked.

"Nice one, Perce! Now, come on everyone. Let's get out there and impress some toads... or we fail!", Sasha shouted before almost everyone cheered.

The only one who wasn't cheerful was Olivia.

"We're doomed.", Olivia spoke in fear.

"Eh, not to worry. If they even think of attacking us, I'm not goin' down without a fight.", Yunan glared.

Back in the council chamber, the toads were getting impatient.

"Dang it, Beatrix! What's your brother waiting for?", Bufo asked.

Play Jack O'Reilly Music: "The Synth Wars"

Then, he looked up as the curtains over the window closed and the stage curtains opened, revealing not only Percy and Sasha, a spotlight flicking on, but also Marcy, who played techno music on the piano. Several more lights flashed in different colors throughout the room. Then, as Sasha set down an easel, the techno music hit full swing and Percy started to dance, making the toads gasp in awe. While Braddock and their siblings shifted the spotlights, most of them especially flashing in different colors while one rests on Grime, standing above the stage with a rope in hand. He swung onto the stage and landed on a loose floorboard, catapulting Percy into the air, and allowing him to use a t-shirt cannon to shoot t-shirts reading 'Down with Melkor!' into the crowd. Then, Anne and Jackie set up small fireworks as everyone else on stage danced along. Afterwards, Grime cleared his throat.

"My fellow toads.", Grime began as Sasha started flipping pages on the easel while Anne and Jackie finished setting up the small fireworks and lit them up. "For years, we have kept the kingdom's servants in line. But thanks to recent development, all that has changed. The threat of Melkor is drawing closer than ever. And if we're unprepared, it could mean the end. So, as admittedly ludicrous as it seems, I propose a future where frogs, toads, and newts unite, vanquish Melkor, and take our rightful place as rulers and bring peace and security to all of Amphibia!", Grime shouted just before said fireworks were ignited and exploded in a colorful light, dazzling the audience who saw it.

"Psst! Drop the mic!", Sasha whispered.

"Oh! Uh, right!", Grime responded before dropping the mic to the floor just as the fireworks' light dimmed down completely, feedback squealed around the room, and crickets chirped in the silence following the music.

End Jack O'Reilly Music: "The Synth Wars"

"You all took a huge risk coming here to gain support for your resistance.", Bufo stated.

"And it paid off. We frogging loved it!", Beatrix grinned before the toads all cheered while one toad that wore a 'Down with Melkor!' t-shirt howled.

"Nicely done, Grimothy.", Beatrix congratulated teasingly.

This surprised everyone else.

"No way! Is your real name...?", Sasha began.

"You're not talking about this!", Grime interrupted.

"Well, we might poke some fun at this later on.", Anne grinned.

"So tell us, tell us, who's leading this revolution?", Bufo asked.

"Given present circumstances involving a rising tide of orcs and manners of dark magic, I can see no better leader than I.", Grime responded seriously.

Nevertheless, Bufo and Beatrix whispered to each other.

"Yeah, I don't think so. We love your vision and Sasha, here, has been an excellent toad to work with as far as I was told, but no toad is going to follow the command of a fugitive and his hummus.", Bufo discouraged.

"Humans. We're called 'humans'.", Sasha glared.

"Yeah, dude, get it right.", Anne agreed.

"And on another note, Anne, Marcy, and their friends aren't even toads. They might hold us back.", Bufo added.

"What...?!", Allison and Jackie shouted in unison.

"Bufo's right. Besides, Melkor's too powerful and his forces are too many to count in number.", Beatrix concurred.

"Speaking of which, this whole thing is beginning to sound too risky. Guards! Arrest them!", Bufo urged before Armored toads began to march toward the stage, spears at the ready.

Suddenly, Allison let out a furious scream and charged at the toads.

"What the heck?", Sasha and Pat puzzled.

"Allison, no!", Grime shouted.

Very quickly, Allison defeated the toads in battle, even using one of them as a stepstool to confront Bufo afterwards.

"WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO EARN YOUR RESPECT?!", Allison roared.

"Yeesh. And I thought you were the angry one.", Yunan said to Sasha.

"I know. Wait, what?", Sasha puzzled.

Suddenly, Aldo pulled himself from the vines attaching him to his chair.

"Barrel's Warhammer.", Captain Aldo spoke.

"Barrel's Hammer? You've finally gone senile, Aldo.", Bufo reacted.

"Yeah, that's a suicide mission.", Beatrix agreed.

"It is said that the one who wields this hammer is the true leader of all toads. It is the one thing, the only thing, that will prove we should follow you.", Aldo explained.

"If that's what it takes, consider it done! You'll have it in your claws by morning.", Allison responded with anger mixed with mostly determination, much to her friends' surprise.

Bufo and Beatrix, on the other hand, both gasped and laughed.

"No toad has ever gone after the hammer and made it back alive. This I've gotta see.", Bufo smirked.

"Okay. But the triplets need to stay inside

Later, far outside the North Tower, Anne, Jackie, Rose, Sasha, Allison, Pat, Marcy, Max, Alexis, Sprig, Polly, Olivia, Yunan, Grime, Bombina, Percy, and Braddock sailing on a boat.

"So, what's this hammer, and why are y'all so scared of it?", Anne asked.

"A little late to be asking, don't you think?", Grime asked.

"But since you asked, we're not scared of the hammer. We're more scared of what's guarding it.", Bombina added.

"It's the weapon of the legendary toad warrior, Barrel the Brave!", Percy added.

"Barrel gave his life defending a helpless village from a terrifying beast!", Braddock added.

"Legend has it that this same beast guards his hammer to this very day.", Percy finished fearfully before Grime pushed past Percy and Braddock.

"Enough whimpering! We don't even know if this tadpole tale is real.", Grime responded.

"But if it is, we might have a chance against Melkor and his army.", Allison added.

"Well, if that monster shows up, I'm gonna slash it to pieces.", Yunan smirked.

However, Percy started to shiver as she and Sasha turned to him, the former getting just as sympathetic as she is.

"Listen, if things get too wild out here, just give me a signal and I'll call the whole thing off.", Allison said sympathetically.

"A signal? What kind of signal?", Percy asked.

"Hmm. How about this? Do your best kawaii pose. It's something we do for photos in my world. Like this.", Allison stated, demonstrating a kawaii pose.

"What's a photo?", Braddock asked.

"We'll explain that one later.", Marcy grinned.

"Just try it.", Sasha offered.

Then, Braddock and Percy both tried to strike the same pose Sasha made. The nine of them laughed while Allison, Max, Olivia, and Yunan just grinned from seeing this.

"That actually seems fun.", Sprig grinned.

"Yeah. How'd you come up with that?", Polly asked.

"Well..., you see, it's kind of a long story.", Anne began sadly.

The only ones who didn't smile were Grime and Bombina.

"No giggling! We're here.", Grime urged from the Crow's Nest.

They docked the boat and Braddock disembarked as Grime tied it up. Percy stopped Sasha before she followed.

"Hey, Sash. Thanks for that. I feel better already.", Percy thanked.

"Hey, my pleasure. And don't forget, just strike a pose and we'll leave and/or retreat.", Sasha assured.

The whole gang was now trekking through the bog, Allison in the lead with the map.

"According to the map Aldo gave us, we should be close to where the hammer was last seen.", Allison said.

"This is insane! Even if it exists, we'll never find it.", Grime vented.

But right then, who should spot it but Percy.

"Found it!", Percy called, pointing to a hammer partially buried in the ground with steam billowing out of vents around it.

"There it is... It's Barrel's Warhammer...!", Bombina gasped in awe.

"That was easy.", Rose grinned.

"Yeah. Maybe a little too easy?", Jackie asked cautiously.

Grime ran up to it.

"I don't believe it. It's real! Our ticket to revolution!", Grime laughed in pride.

"And no beast in sight! Could life actually be this easy for a change?", Percy asked.

"Quick, Grime! Yank that thing out already.", Allison urged.

Then, Grime attempted to pull the hammer out of the ground, but to no avail.

"A little help here.", Grime requested.

"All right. We'll all help.", Anne offered.

"I've got a bad feeling about this...", Olivia only said in worry.

"Okay, gang. On three.", Sasha said as everyone clustered around the hammer as much as they can.

"One, two, three!", Sasha shouted before they all strained at the hammer, but even with the help, it barely budged an inch.

Just then, the ground started to shake, and everyone except Percy, Rose, and Pat pulled out their weapons.

"The b-b-b-b-b-b-beast!", Percy stammered.

"Well, I knew this was coming. All right, ya beast! Get out here so the great General Yunan can slice ya up!", Yunan dared.

"Yunan, please.", Olivia piped up.

"Look alive! Who knows where it'll come from...", Grime began

Suddenly, the ground started to rise beneath them, sending the gang toppling into the water. They all swam to the nearby boat and climbed on. Just in time, too, because a giant beast rose out of the water, revealed to be a giant, horned reptile worm monster, and then gave an ear-piercing scream, also making Jackie scream in horror as everyone else noticed, turning to her and becoming worried; well, almost everyone so far as Grime and Yunan were excited.

"What a great way to go!", Grime grinned, drawing his sword.

"I couldn't agree more, Grime.", Yunan smirked.

But Jackie was a different story.

"No! No! Get that hideous gator away from me!", Jackie whimpered, shaking, much to Anne and Rose's worry.

"Oh, no, Jackie...!", Anne frowned in worry.

"Aw, come on. We've dealt with much worse than that thing. How could it possibly strike fear into your heart that easily?", Grime asked.

Then, Anne, Sasha, Marcy, and their siblings, save for the whimpering Jackie, winced while inhaling sharply.

"Oh, that's right. I don't think we told you...", Sasha said embarrassedly.

"Uh, told me what exactly?", Grime asked.

"Jackie's just really scared of big reptiles.", Rose explained.

"It's been that way ever since she was little. Ever since... the wild gator incident!", Anne began before it then went to a flashback of young Anne and Young Jackie exploring a large body of water.

"When we were at Florida, one after noon before lunch, me and Jackie were checking the water out. But one fateful day...", Anne began as young Anne and young Jackie were taking a look at the water, unaware as of yet about a wild alligator swimming in.

"Well, this looks like a good place to swim.", Anne grinned.

She and Jackie cautiously went inside the water and swam for a bit.

"Everything was going great as we swam, but then this wild gator showed up and... Well, you can kinda guess what happened next.", Anne explained.

As she did, a wild gator moved in toward Jackie, who could only look up just in time to see an alligator closing in toward her before biting her in the arm, making the poor girl scream in fear, not only making Anne gasp, but also alarming her parents as well.

"Oh, no!", Mrs. Boonchuy shouted.

"Jackie!", Mr. Boonchuy exclaimed.

"Jackie!", young Anne shouted, teary eyed as Jackie screamed still.

Then, that fear turned into rage toward the gator.

"VENGEANCE!", young Anne shouted before leaping on top of the gator and repeatedly smacking it in the snout just as Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy rushed to Jackie's rescue and Anne's.

"Take this! And this!", young Anne shouted.

"And this!", Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy shouted before they helped smack the wild gator, forcing it to let go of Jackie's arm before it swam away, leaving the injured Jackie to cry while being held up by Mrs. Boonchuy, who looked at her in concern as did her husband.

"And stay away, ya gator jerk!", young Anne shouted, giving a raspberry before it then went to the present.

"We may have driven the gator away, but because of what it did, Jackie was losing blood fast. We did all we could to slow it down and were barely able to get her to a hospital in time. It was a very close call, but she did make it...", Anne said, starting to feel sad, though relieved that Jackie's still alive, as everyone was shocked to hear that.

"Wow... Anne, you never mentioned that before.", Sprig said.

"Yeah, that's deep.", Polly added.

"Well..., ever since the whole incident, she's been traumatized and scared, So, we agreed never to bring that up again. But apparently, that's changed when that monster popped up.", Anne stated, pointing to the monster.

Sasha and her siblings looked behind them and saw not only Percy and Braddock desperately making kawaii poses, but also Jackie doing this frantically as well.

"Jackie...", Sasha said, turning back to the beast and seeing Barrel's Warhammer lodged in the scales on top of its head as the beast continued roaring.

But before Sasha could speak, Allison shouted out.

"Sorry, guys, but we're way too close to bail. I am not going back empty-handed.", Allison glared.

"Wait, what?!", Sasha exclaimed.

"But...", Percy began.

"You said...", Braddock began.

"Steer us closer. We need to get it to attack us.", Allison urged.

"What?!", Percy, Braddock, and Jackie exclaimed.

"Ex-squeeze me?!", Sasha glared.

"In the meantime, you two stay behind and tend to Jackie at the north tower where it's safe.", Allison added.

"Oh. Well, that actually kinda makes sense.", Percy said, relieved.

"But who knows if you'll make it?", Braddock added, worried.

"We will! Trust me!", Allison urged before Grime steered the boat closer to the beast, leaving Percy, Braddock, and Jackie behind as they hopped off and swam to a safer place.

"It's okay, Jackie. You're not alone.", Percy assured to the whimpering, paralyzed Jackie.

"Yep. Everything's gonna be okay.", Braddock assured, concerned as she is a moment later.

Meanwhile, Allison turned to the group.

"Well, it's a really good thing Ivy and her parents're looking after the triplets back at the farm right about now!", Max said.

"All right, everyone, attack!", Allison shouted before she and the others began striking the beast with their respective fists, tongues, and/or weapons.

The beast coiled around, leveling its eyes on them and growling.

"All right, now we've got its attention. Get ready. Three, two, one, now!", Allison shouted.

Right as the beast struck the boat, they all leap out, landing on its scales with Sasha lodging her sword into it. The beast then straightened up, and they all began to slide. Sasha caught Grime and clutched onto her sword. Very soon, everyone caught each other, forming a long rope and ending with Sprig catching Polly. Unfortunately, the beast then turned and saw everyone holding onto it before then trying to suck them into its mouth, making everyone panic.

"Everyone hang on!", Marcy screamed.

At that moment, from the tower, Jackie gasped in horror from seeing what's going on before remembering when a wild gator bit her in the arm severely and traumatized her. While she should've recoiled deeper in fear, all it did was remind her of how much she hates gators, let alone how much she hates being unable to save those she cared about as her eyes turned dark blue with black sclerae again, growling much to Percy and Braddock's concern.

"Uh, you okay, Jackie?", Braddock asked.

"YOU LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE!", Jackie roared before dashing toward the beast.

"Jackie, wait!", Percy and Braddock shouted.

Meanwhile, everyone was in danger of being swallowed up.

"Can't hold on much longer...!", Marcy grunted.

"Marcy, hang on!", Sasha shouted before Marcy slipped from Grime's hand.

"MARCY!", Sasha shouted, tearing up before everyone screamed, about to be eaten.

Very quickly, though, Jackie managed to zoom past the beast's mouth before it chomped down, surprisingly finding nothing in its mouth and looking around in puzzlement before Jackie shouted.

"YOU'RE DEAD, GATOR!", Jackie shouted before she smashed against the beast's cheek, making it crash into the water before everyone else was set down and looked to see Dark Jackie glaring in berserk anger toward the monster that nearly swallowed up her friends.

"Jackie...?!", Anne exclaimed in shock.

"I WILL END YOU!", Dark Jackie bellowed before then attacking the beast with every ounce of fear that had now turned into rage.

Meanwhile, as Dark Jackie laid the hurt on the beats, the warhammer started to budge again.

"Guys, look! It's budging again!", Marcy shouted.

"We have to get to that hammer!", Allison urged before everyone ran to it, albeit not very easily considering that Dark Jackie was severely laying into it, before finally arriving at the hammer.

Allison yanked on the hammer still stuck in its head with her siblings, Grime, and Bombina following suit as everyone else struggled to hang on.

"Ugh, this thing's never coming loose!", Allison shouted.

She then let go of the hammer and ran to the narwhal worm's horn to the best of her ability while also avoiding a berserk Jackie, though not without giving a worried look to her for a moment. Then she looked back toward Sasha.

"Sasha, I need you to send the beast toward the castle.", Allison said.

"What?! Are you crazy?!", Sasha reacted.

"There is no way we're doing that.", Marcy added.

"I'm gonna have to go with Mar-Mar on this one. This is insane!", Max exclaimed.

"I know it is, but what choice do we have? The warhammer won't budge. It's the only way to get it to the tower.", Allison explained.

"You're insane and I love it!", Grime shouted excitedly.

"Fine! But only if you try to calm Jackie down. She's getting too scary right now.", Sasha responded.

"Got it.", Allison nodded before heading off toward Jackie just as Sasha threw her cape aside and pulled out a lasso.

She then swung the lasso around and threw it up at the horn. After that, she yanked on the rope, and the beast was forced to lean back, sending almost everyone tumbling down its side, just barely managing to hold on and screaming. Of course, Sasha managed to turn the beast around and send it barreling straight for the North Tower just as Allison caught up to Jackie.

"Jackie, stop!", Allison shouted.

"WHAT?! YOU EXPECT ME TO LET THAT MONSTER GO AFTER WHAT IT'S DONE?!", Dark Jackie snapped.

"No. But I do expect you to think about your friends. They're barely hanging on as is.", Allison responded, gesturing to everyone else screaming as they barely managed to cling to the beast, rocks and sticks flying past and hitting them, although the rest of Waybrights were doing well.

Seeing this, Jackie finally calmed down, her black sclerae turning white again and her blue irises turning a brighter shade again.

"You're right.", Jackie calmly realized.

"You let me, Sasha, and Pat stay on the beast with Grime and Bombina. Worry about the rest, okay?", Allison asked.

"'Kay.", Jackie nodded before heading to the others who were struggling and picking them all up off the charging monster, but not before going to .

Back at the North Tower council chamber, a toad scientist was giving the lowdown on some durability upgrades.

"Last Toad Summit was all about improvements to Toad armor durability. This year, the R & D team gives you... armor customization!", a toad scientist spoke before the model turned around, displaying armor with a picture of a duck and the words 'Toad Up'.

Soon, the room erupted with cheers.

"Ooh, that ducky looks nice.", Bufo grinned.

"It sure does look cute.", Hop Pop concurred.

"Yeah, and... Hey, what are you doing here?", Bufo puzzled upon seeing him right next to him.

"Whoo, yeah!", a female toad cheered while Olivia looked concerned.

"Oh, I do hope our compatriots can survive this...", Olivia said in worry before she and the female toad overheard a sudden roar in the distance and elbowed her friend.

"Hey, Greg, what do you think that is?", a female toad asked before Greg peered at it through binoculars.

"Hang on, everyone! We're coming in hot!", Allison shouted.

"Hmm, that's clearly a narwhal-worm being ridden by Lieutenant Allison. Heading straight for us.", Greg stated.

"Wait, Allison?! SHE'S bringing the beast here?!", Percy shouted.

"What the frog is she thinking?!", Braddock added.

"My words exactly...!", Olivia agreed.

Back on the narwhal-worm, Allison steered the beast as her sister and brother bounced up and down behind her.

"Ally! Slow...! it...! down!", Sasha grunted.

"I'm trying! We're coming in too fast!", Allison exclaimed.

Then, Grime gasped from seeing the tower.

"You're right! The tower! It's coming up too fast. We're going to crash into it. Go left! Go left!", Grime shouted.

Allison grunted as she tried to steer the worm to the side. But the stubborn narwhal-worm growled and puffed as it rushed forward even faster.

"Ugh, I can't! I've lost control of it!", Allison shouted.

Grime, Bombina, Sasha, and Pat rushed to help Allison.

"There has to be another way to stop it!", Bombina shouted.

"The Warhammer. It's the only weapon big enough to dent this thing's armor.", Sasha realized.

"Then, let's all lift it up together.", Allison urged.

Sure enough, she, Sasha, Pat, Bombina, and Grime rushed over to the Warhammer, both straining to pull it out.

"It still won't budge...!", Bombina grunted before Grime only sighed.

"It's no use. Everyone, we've got to get out of here or we'll all die.", Grime warned.

"No!", the three Waybright siblings shouted as their eyes glowed pink.

"We can do this!", Pat added.

"We are not gonna fail!", Allison added.

"Not while Melkor is on the verge of destroying everything and everyone I love and care for!", Sasha added.

Anne and the others widened their eyes in surprise, Anne especially.

"Wait, what?", Anne blushed.

Then, Sasha, Allison, and Pat powered up to their calamity forms as pink markings spread on their arms and the trio adjusted their stance and gritted their teeth, pulling with everything they've got. Finally, they managed to pull the hammer out from the beast's head and hefted it above their heads. Of course, they nearly fell over, but suddenly, something stopped the warhammer. Everyone looked surprised from seeing...

"Barrel?!", the toads asked in surprise.

"Wow, guys. I did not think it could be done, but... well, here you are. With my warhammer.", Barrel's ghost grinned.

"How is this happening? How are we even seeing...?", Sasha began.

"Just wanted to stop by for a bit and congratulate you guys. And by the way, if you're gonna use it, lean it to the direction you want it to go, especially with those mini boosters. They mean business...!", Barrel's ghost said, waving as he faded.

"Wait, mini boosters?", the toads puzzled before the hammer lit up with pink runes and electricity sparked on its head before jet flames activated in the back, pushing Sasha, Allison, Pat, Bombina, and Grime forward.

"Oh... I get it now. Sasha!", Allison realized.

"Read you loud and clear, Ally.", Sasha nodded before she, her siblings, and the two toads used the extra momentum to slam the Warhammer into the head of the narwhal-worm, knocking it unconscious.

Percy and Braddock, as well as Greg and the female toad, screamed as the worm drew nearer. It slid forward, slowed down only by Jackie in her calamity form as its horn smashed into the window just above the Toad Council's table. The room filled with gasps, and Bufo and Beatrix turned to look at the interruption, shocked.

"Huh?", the Tower Lords asked in shock.

"What in tarnation...?!", Hop Pop asked in surprise.

"Is everyone okay?", Percy asked.

"Sure we are.", Jackie grinned, setting everyone else down safely before turning back to normal and collapsing.

"Whoop. Easy now, Jackie. What happened back there?", Braddock asked.

"I think I just conquered my fear of reptiles with a different fear: the very thought of anything bad happening to those I care about.", Jackie responded.

"Conquered it? You destroyed it! Smashed it into little pieces!", Anne asked, amazed.

"Yeah. You went to town on it.", Rose agreed.

Sasha grinned from seeing this as did Allison and Pat before turning to the toad tower lords.

"One Warhammer, as promised.", Allison grinned before tossing the Warhammer down; it landed with a thud in the center of the room.

"What just happened...? Did they get the hammer?", Olivia aske din surprise.

Everyone hopped down from the narwhal-worm and Grime rushed forward to pick up the hammer. Soon, the room erupted with cheers.

"Wow. They really pulled it off.", Hop Pop grinned.

Aldo then raised his hand, getting the crowd to stop cheering.

"We hereby grant you the support of all three towers for your attack against Melkor.", Captain Aldo grinned.

"Yes! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!", Sasha grinned, pumping her arms.

"Well, Lieutenant, I had my doubts, but we did it.", Grime smiled.

"Of course, we did. After all, we're the best team in this or any other world. Right, Braddock? Percy?", Sasha asked toward Percy and Braddock.

"Yep. We're just glad you know when to make sure we're safe for a change.", Percy grinned.

"Yeah. Otherwise, we'd have thought that you didn't care one bit about what happened to us as long as you got what you wanted.", Braddock added.

"Well, it wasn't just me that wanted to keep you safe. It's Ally. She deserves it for teaching you that signal and keeping her word. Sorta...?", Sasha said, wrapping her elbow around Allison.

"That reminds me. You've been intense up until we got the warhammer. What was that all about?", Pat asked before Allison sighed.

"Okay. Remember how Melkor possessed the Wu triplets?", Allison asked.

"Yeah. Why?", Pat asked.

"Because, whatever allowed Melkor to do that, I don't want it happening to you guys. I care too much about you guys to let it happen to you if I could help it.", Allison responded.

"Aw. That's sweet of you, Ally.", Sasha grinned before then putting Allison's own arm behind her back, catching her by surprise.

"Just don't get that intense again. It's kinda my thing.", Sasha warned.

"Okay. Message received.", Allison responded before then flipping Sasha from behind her.

"As long as you never do that again.", Allison responded.

"Okay. Fair enough...", Sasha groaned as she sat up in time to see Anne walking up to her.

"Anne?", Sasha puzzled.

"Listen..., So, about what you said earlier... you know, before you guys lifted the warhammer up?", Anne asked, making Sasha blush upon realizing that she practically said out loud that she loves Anne.

"Yeah... Uh, that was just the heat of the moment it was no big de...", Sasha began before, suddenly, Anne pressed her lips against Sasha's.

"I love you, too, Sasha. And right now, we both want the same thing.", Anne grinned.

This left Sasha stammering for a bit before she fell down and shut down, making Percy and Braddock grin.

"Looks like someone is i E.", Braddock grinned.

Just then, a courier arrived with a message in a scroll toward Marcy and her siblings.

"Huh? Mail? Already?", Marcy puzzled before opening the letter and widening her eyes.

"Oh, my gosh, guys! The armorer's on his way to Wartwood! We have to get back there, fast!", Marcy shouted.

"What?!", Anne and her siblings, as well as Sasha and hers, exclaimed.

"What...?", everyone else puzzled just curiously.

Meanwhile, the room erupted with cheers as outside, the narwhal-worm snored outside the North Tower.

Act III: Bessie & MicroAngelo

It all started one day as everyone was helping move stuff into the fwagon.

"Good work, everyone! Wish I could help, but... no legs, you know?", Polly stated, riding in her chariot provided by a small snail named MicroAngelo.

"Mm-hmm.", Anne responded, giving an annoyed frown.

"Look on the bright side, Boonchuy. We're almost done packing up.", Sasha grinned.

"And the sooner we finish packing up, the sooner we can leave.", Allison added.

Meanwhile, Rose, Stumpy, Hop Pop, and Sylvia were all washing Bessie.

"We depart for the final temple tomorrow, Bessie, ol' gal, and I have a big job for ya.", Hop Pop stated.

Then, Bessie trilled puzzledly before getting splashed with a bucket of water, much to her annoyance. At that moment, MicroAngelo arrived with Polly in tow.

"Speak of the frog devil. Polly, leave Micro-Angelo here with us and get back to packin'.", Hop Pop requested as he picked Polly up.

"Want me to grab a weapon or two from the hidden armory under the house?", Polly asked.

"Go grab a weapon or three, dear. These temples have been pretty nasty, and I wanna be ready for anything.", Hop Pop responded as he picked up MicroAngelo's golden bucket.

"That's what I'm talkin' about!", Polly beamed.

"Now then, Bessie, you remember MicroAngelo? The cute little snail we bought in Newtopia?", Hop Pop asked before Bessie trilled in a way that tells him she remembers.

"Well, I'm sure you've noticed that he is young and cute and needs to be protected at all costs.", Hop Pop stated, picking the snail up.

"Meep.", MicroAngelo spoke.

"Aw. He is so cute.", Rose grinned with Stumpy grumbling in concurrence with a nod.

"By contrast, you are an older snail. Much older. I mean, you've seen your share of winters, that's for sure.", Hop Pop chuckled, making Bessie unamused with the joke.

"The point is, while we're busy packing today, I'm gonna need you to take this little cutie under your shell, all right? He's your responsibility. Can I trust you with this very important job?", Hop Pop asked as Microangelo saw his tail and started chasing after it in a circle before Bessie happily saluted with her eye stalks.

"That's my good girl. Don't let me down. 'Kay. Thanks. Bye.", Hop Pop chuckled as he scratched Bessie's chin before leaving as MicroAngelo got dizzy and then landed on his side.

"Meep.", MicroAngelo squeaked before Rose beamed once again.

Then, Bessie leaned over and helped MicroAngelo up by picking him up by the shell and setting him down.

"Meep.", MicroAngelo squeaked.

"So, what do you wanna do, little guy?", Rose asked.

Then, MicroAngelo's belly growled before the little guy then pointed to his belly with his eye.

"Oh. You're hungry? That's not a problem.", Rose grinned.

To prove this, Bessie went for the bag of snail feed and opened it, pouring it into her bowl for MicroAngelo to eat afterwards. But there was one problem: MicroAngelo was already gone.

"Huh? Where is he? He was right there a few seconds ago.", Rose asked.

"Meep!", MicroAngelo called.

"Huh? It sounds like it's coming from...", Rose began before she and Bessie turned.

When they did, they saw, much to their horror, MicroAngelo bouncing in a bucket of the wall. And what's worse, with each bounce, the rope was beginning to snap off. The sight made Rose gasp.

"Meep! Meep! Meep! Meep! Meep! Meep! Meep! Meep!", MicroAngelo spoke.

"MICROANGELO!", Rose shouted as Stumpy and Bessie panicked, too, before powering up to her calamity form.

"Stumpy, Bessie, step on it! NOW!", Rose shouted.

Then, both Stumpy and Bessie quickly slithered (or trotted) faster with Rose hopping off Bessie's shell. At that moment, the rope broke off with the bucket falling down. Fortunately, Rose zoomed down and flew back out, holding the bucket with MicroAngelo inside it.

"Phew...!", Rose sighed before setting the basket down, landing on the ground, and powering down back to normal.

Bessie glared at MicroAngelo with an angry grumble only to see MicroAngelo snuggling up to her and then slither up to the top of her shell.

"Meep!", MicroAngelo spoke before yawning and laying down in order to sleep.

"Aw. Who could stay mad at this face?", Rose beamed before then going up to him and sleeping on top of Bessie's shell with MicroAngelo as Stumpy gave a low growl with a grin.

Then, Bessie sighed and laid down to sleep as well, earning Rose's giggle.

Meanwhile, near the house outside, Hop Pop was going over his inventory of maps, one of which he folded and placed on top of a long stack of maps.

"Can't have too many maps. Or can you?", Hop Pop questioned.

Just then, Polly grunted, moving a crate of Boom Shrooms forward.

"Definitely gonna need these bad boys. And now to get more deadly weapons. Ha-ha!", Polly grinned, hopping away.

As for Marcy and the others, she cleared her throat.

"So, Anne, I think we can all agree everything's riding on this last temple.", Marcy spoke.

"Yep.", Anne asked.

"And can we also agree that you need some new gear already?", Marcy asked, motioning to Anne's sock, which appeared more worn out up close.

"Fair.", Anne responded.

"Ah, good. Because I already fly-mailed Newtopia's best armorer sometime ago, and according to his message we got from him in Toad Tower, he's on his way right now to give you a whole new look!", Marcy responded.

Hearing this, both Sasha and Anne were shocked, especially most of their siblings, as they froze, causing Sprig to drop a box of shurikens, one of which got lodged in Sprig's hat.

"Ex-squeeze me?!", Sasha exclaimed.

"Hold up. Did she just say 'new look'?", Anne asked.

"Yep. What's the problem?", Sprig puzzled.

"Oh, no. Not again!", Anne panicked.

"Mar-Mar, I thought we agreed never to do that makeover thing for Anne again!", Sasha glared.

"Yeah, remember the last few times we tried that?", Max asked.

Then, it showed three flashbacks on Earth showing Anne sporting bad haircuts. While the first was too frizzy with bows and the second was a bad rock haircut, the last one showed Anne screaming because she was bald at that point.

"Too short?", Marcy asked, holding a razor.

Then, it went back to the present.

"Anne locked herself in the bathroom crying because of you!", Jackie exclaimed.

"And on top of that, I even got grounded for that!", Sasha added.

"I did warn you not to do this the first time, Sash.", Allison warned.

"You and me both, Ally.", Max responded.

"Whatever...! Look, Mar-Mar, under NO circumstances are you to try to give Anne a new look. If you do that, this will not go well for anyone! Do you understand?", Sasha warned.

"Well, it's more of an update on clothes rather than makeup, anyways, so, sure.", Marcy responded.

Meanwhile, as a few dragonflies flew past, Bessie and Rose woke up and saw the bad news: MicroAngelo has once again gone missing!

"Ah! Not again! Where could he have gone this time?!", Rose exclaimed.

"Meep, meep.", MicroAngelo squeaked before Bessie, Rose, and Stumpy turned to see Frobo cutting wood.

"I don't get it. Wh- where is he?", Rose asked.

Unfortunately, MicroAngelo slithered up to the log and peeped out after said log was placed on top of the stump.

"Meep." MicroAngelo squeaked.

"MICROANGELO!", Rose shouted before going calamity mode again and dashing toward him at lightning speed and grabbing him.

When she did so and took off, the log was shaking a bit in movement, much to Frobo's confusion as his eyes turned into question marks. Rose rolled down the hill before stopping and then turning to Frobo, who waved at her.

"Aw. Hey, Frobo.", Rose waved as Bessie caught up and gasped in worry upon seeing that MicroAngelo got away again with Rose turning to notice this as well.

"Ah, come on! Again?!", Rose shouted.

"Meep, meep.", MicroAngelo squeaked as they turned to see him following a butterfly, not knowing he was in the path of a giant crab-like vehicle driving toward him.

Bessie and Rose screamed in terror for him.

"We have to do something!", Rose urged before Bessie nodded with the two dashing across the road and barely able to save MicroAngelo from getting crushed by said crab and landed on the grass.

Bessie was very angry with him and put her tail down. She started to chew him out, but before she could do that, Rose stopped her.

"Easy, Bessie. You don't need to be harsh with him.", Rose said, turning back to normal before gesturing to MicroAngelo, who started to shed tears before slithering away with sad grumbles only for Rose to pick him up.

"Look, MicroAngelo. She may be mad, but she's not mad AT you. It's just that, you nearly got yourself killed every time today. Is that really what you want to do? Get squashed and make us feel bad because we couldn't save you?", Rose asked.

MicroAngelo gasped before shaking his head.

"You see, it's our job to protect you at all costs. Actually, it's Bessie's but I just feel very obligated to help out. We're doing this because we care. You understand that, right?", Rose asked as she set MicroAngelo down.

"Meep.", MicroAngelo responded.

"I think I'll take that cute squeak as a 'yes'.", Rose giggled before she and Bessie walked with him, the duo whistling with MicroAngelo whistling as well.

Meanwhile, the vehicle from earlier arrived at the Plantar Farm with said vehicle stopping near the toad soldiers guarding the area.

"Halt. Who goes there?", one soldier asked.

"My name is Bernardo. And I have come looking for someone who is in need of my fashion services.", Bernardo greeted.

"Fashion... services? Actually, go right ahead.", the toad soldier spoke before he and the others cleared a path, allowing him entry before they went back to how they were as Bernardo arrived, parked near the farm, and stepped out of his vehicle in a red carpet style.

"Oh. You must be the armorer.", Sasha guessed.

"And you must be correct. Who is in need of my services?", Bernardo asked.

Then, Bernardo saw Anne up close and personal.

"Never mind. It is clearly you.", Bernardo stated.

"Is it really that bad?", Anne asked, checking herself out.

"It's worse.", Bernardo responded.

Back inside the house, while some fashion designs were being carted in, Anne was getting worried.

"I don't know, Mar-Mar. These old duds have been good to me, you know?", Anne explained.

"And we are NOT having a repeat of a makeover failure! You get me?", Sasha glared.

"Guys, we're probably going home soon. And I just think that we should at least prepare for a war in case it's unavoidable. Besides, we're letting you pick which armor speaks out to you the most this time.", Marcy responded.

"Wait. Really?", Anne and Sasha asked in unison.

"Yeah. It was wrong of me to force you guys to follow my dreams. And doubly wrong of me to strand you guys out here on purpose. I learned that the hard way. So, I think it's only fair that I let you pick the choice of clothes that you want.", Marcy responded.

Anne and Sasha grinned from this.

"Wow.", Jackie, Allison, and Max said in unison.

"I know. I totally did not expect this.", Pat said.

"Uh, yeah.", Alexis agreed.

"Enough chitty-chatty.", Bernardo spoke up, carrying a mini staircase before setting it down near Anne and walking up across it to stare into her face as he spoke.

"Anne, who do you want to be?", Bernardo asked.

"Uh...", Anne began.

"Well, have fun, you two. I'm gonna go mix a bunch of potions for tomorrow.", Marcy spoke as she left.

"Well, at least she's letting you do you, Anne.", Sasha grinned.

"In Newtopia this season, it is all about barbarian. Furs. Metal studs. Mallets. Everyone looks good in barbarian. Trust me.", Bernard said, tipping his shades.

Of course, Anne wasn't so sure.

"Barbarian sounds pretty cool. Why don't you just wear a few and see how you feel? It won't hurt to try.", Sprig said.

"Wait until you see the first disaster of an outfit. It usually shows up first in every makeover failure.", Sasha warned.

"First up, this lovely little number covered with painful poison barbs.", Bernard stated, showing said armor.

"And there it is...", Sasha sighed.

Meanwhile, Bessie started to fall fast asleep.

"Hope you get a good rest, Bessie.", Rose grinned.

Unfortunately, at that moment, MicroAngelo saw a small bug passing by and followed it.

"Hey! Where are you going?", Rose asked in concern just as Bessie woke right back up.

"Meep! Meep!", MicroAngelo squeaked, following the little bug, unknowingly headed towards, much to Rose and Bessie's panic as they gasped, Marcy's potion and Polly's weapons.

"MICROANGELO! GET BACK HERE!", Rose shouted in extreme worry as she went full Calamity again before zooming faster than before, much to Bessie's puzzlement.

"Huh?", Bessie puzzled.

As for Rose, while MicroAngelo slithered through the turnip field, Rose plowed right through it before, as he was going past the boxes, Rose demolished them before she caught up and grabbed MicroAngelo.

"Gotcha!", Rose shouted before looking up to notice that she was about to zoom past Polly.

"Look out, Polly!", Rose shouted, prompting Polly to turn around.

"Huh? What the...?!", Polly puzzled before zooming right past her, causing her to spin and drop her weapons in a hazed, dizzy manner.

Next, Rose even noticed Marcy working on her potion.

"Marcy! Hit the deck!", Rose shouted before zooming past Frobo, who lost his balance while carrying the boxes and landed into the cauldron, causing it to spill.

"My potion!", Marcy shouted before the weapons landed around Marcy and Frobo just as Bessie arrived and mumbled, asking them where they went.

Of course, Marcy pointed to the way before Bessie grumbled in gratitude and then continued on her way only to slip into some of her potion just as Hop Pop, in the meantime, was checking over his map.

"Hmm.", Hop Pop spoke.

"HOP POP!", Rose shouted, puzzling him.

"TAKE COVER!", Rose shouted.

"Meep, meep.", MicroAngelo squeaked.

As if that wasn't enough, Bessie was about to be in a collision course as well as she grumbled in panic.

"Jumpin' Jehoshaphat!", Hop Pop shouted before Bessie, Rose, and MicroAngelo collided with Hop Pop and his maps.

After that, everyone got up to see the damage and gasp in shock, although Rose and Bessie were relieved with MicroAngelo in one piece as the former turned back to normal.

"Holy hornets! My maps! Bessie, what's gotten into you? You're supposed to be looking after Micro-Angelo, not causing a frog-dang ruckus!", Hop Pop scolded, gesturing to the damage done not just to the map inventory, but also to the turnip field, the weapons, the boxes, and even Marcy's potion.

"Oh, no...", Rose spoke sadly.

"What the heck happened? I thought you were my good girl. This was obviously just too much responsibility for ya.", Hop Pop said.

"No, Hop Pop. It was too much responsibility for me. Bessie was looking after MicroAngelo. I just wanted to help her out, but I panicked when he took off to go there and... Well, you can guess what happened next.

"Rose, I'm shocked. I left Bessie in charge of MicroAngelo, not you. It's nice that you wanna help out, but you still don't have enough control over your powers yet. Otherwise, you wouldn't have left that much destruction behind.", Hop Pop said a bit sadly.

"I didn't mean to...", Rose began, almost as if starting to cry.

"Oh, I know you didn't, Rose. But I'm afraid it's time to go on a time out... Come on, Rose.", Hop Pop said sadly, leading Rose to the trailer as she groaned.

As he led her away, Bessie and MicroAngelo gave sad, worried, and/or puzzled looks for Rose, who had to stand in a time-out corner.

"Sorry, Rose. Today's preparations are just too important.", Hop Pop said sadly before closing the door.

As Hop Pop left, Bessie and MicroAngelo went over to the trailer with Rose looking out the window.

"Meep? Meep, meep.", MicroAngelo squeaked.

"Aw, it's okay. I don't blame you for what happened, MicroAngelo.", Rose assured.

Of course, MicroAngelo wasn't convinced as he sadly turned to Bessie.

"Meep?", MicroAngelo squeaked.

Bessie felt just as terrible and sighed, MicroAngelo sighing with her.

Back in the house, Anne was already wearing a new outfit. But she was less than impressed.

"Uh, guys? I thought I was into this before, but now? Not really sure this is my style.", Anne commented.

"I think you may be right. This is just too much, even for me.", Sasha agreed.

"I think you look neat. Loving that loincloth.", Sprig grinned.

"Hmm, it is a bit loud. Let's try a few options. Eggwellems!", Bernardo called with a clap of his hands.

Then, much to Anne's surprise, he turned up with a comb and a pair of scissors before surrounding her with a puff of smoke as he did his work. When he finished, Anne was wearing a sort of magical cloak with dark makeup on her lips and a staff on top of which was a familiar canine skull with horns.

"Perhaps a sorceress supreme?", Bernardo asked.

"Eh, too magical.", Anne said.

"Wait a minute. Is that King?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!", Sasha asked angrily as she went calamity mode.

"Nothing. We just made a model of your other dimensional friend's skull for the staff when Master Marcy reunited with you all.", Bernardo explained.

"Oh. You know I'm not gonna ask how you found the time to do that.", Sasha said, powering down to normal form.

"Good choice.", Bernardo said before Eggwellems changed Anne's attire to a different one resembling a commando, and a big helmet, which, unfortunately, blocks out her eyes.

"An elite commando?", Bernardo asked.

"Too formal.", Anne commented.

Then, Eggwellems tried giving a crane dress to Anne, let alone a mantis suit and a moth cloak.

"Crane style! Mantis style! Moth style.", Bernardo said.

"NO MORE BUGS!", Anne shouted.

"Your friend is, um, how to say? Hard to please.", Bernardo commented as he and Sprig seemed to be drinking tea.

"Tell me about it.", Sprig agreed.

"Guys, this stuff is cool and all, but it's too much. I mean, who even needs these giant metal hands?", Anne asked.

"Yeah, not even I'd be caught dead wearing those.", Sasha agreed.

"Technically speaking, those are siege gauntlets with built-in fire launchers.", Bernardo explained.

"Are they?", Sasha asked.

"Yes.", Bernardo replied.

As if to prove this, said gauntlets released fire-launchers, which prepared to fire.

"Is that a tiny trebuchet? I'm gonna touch it.", Sprig said, excited as he reached for it.

"No, Sprig, no!", Anne exclaimed.

"Are you crazy?!", Sasha added.

Unfortunately, Sprig touched it.

"Oops.", Sprig spoke before a small flaming ball was launched out the window.

"Sprig!", Anne shouted.

What's worse, as Bessie and MicroAngelo noticed, the small flaming ball rolled out toward the maps, not only setting them aflame, but also straight toward the boom shrooms as Hop Pop and Polly walked in with a crate. Even Rose, while in time-out, noticed this and gasped while Bessie and MicroAngelo screamed.

"Guys! We gotta get out quick! The Boom shrooms are about to blow!", Rose shouted.

"Seriously, Rose. Trying to get out of your time-out now? This is a bit much. Even for you.", Hop Pop said before leaving.

"Yeah! At least try to face your punishment with some honor.", Polly agreed before she and Hop Pop left.

"No, I'm serious!", Rose shouted before graoning sadly.

"No one believes me...", Rose sobbed a bit before noticing Bessie and MicroAngelo, realizing that hope is not lost as she gasped.

"That's it! Guys, I need you to get a pail of water at the shed to put it out before it can hit the boom shrooms. Can you do that?", Rose asked.

Bessie and MicroAngelo turned to one another and grinned before saluting in determination.

"Thank you! Now, please hurry!", Rose pleaded before the two snails took off for the shed, went inside, and quickly stocked up on pails of water.

But as soon as they started to leave, a bat-like parrot grabbed MicroAngelo, much to Bessie's panic before MicroAngelo squeaked in fear. She then noticed the fire getting closer to the Boom Shroom cart and Rose getting even more scared.

"Please, help...!", Rose spoke in fear.

Worried over this, Bessie turned back to the picture on the wall, turned around, grabbed the door with her mouth, and then went into overdrive.

"What in the world?", Hop Pop exclaimed before turning to see the flame moving toward the crate and gasping in horror as Rose screamed with a sob.

"HEEEEEELP!", Rose sobbed.

"ROSE!", Jackie and the others shouted.

"Oh, my frog! Rose was telling the truth! What have we done?!", Hop Pop shouted.

"Great... Now, I have guilt!", Polly added.

"Oh! What's happening?", Anne said, rushing outside only to bump into the top of the doorframe and fall down.

Rose whimpered in fear as the fire got closer. Fortunately, Bessie, holding a door in her mouth, tossed it toward a fence and drove up into the air on it astonishing everyone, especially Rose.

"Wow.", everyone said.

The only one who didn't see it was Anne as she was still stuck in armor.

"Somebody please narrate what's happening.", Anne said.

"That snail is being heroic!", Sasha explained.

Indeed, she was. Bessie managed to slap the creature away, save MicroAngelo, roll down the hill, and douse the fire before it could make the boom shrooms explode, although the creature that got whacked away certainly exploded, relieving Rose as she sighed.

"What?", everyone else spoke in awe.

Bessie and MicroAngelo laughed as they did a high-five with their eyestalks softly in celebration.

"Oh, my frog, Bessie! Not only did you save Micro-Angelo, you saved Rose from being nearly obliterated. Who put these boom shrooms here?", Hop Pop asked.

"Uh, guilty.", Polly smirked, earning Rose's glare.

"Rose, can you come here, please?", Hop Pop asked.

"Okay.", Rose spoke before she finally came out of the fwagon.

"I'm sorry I thought you were lying. It's just that preparations were just too important. But I know that it was no excuse to dismiss what you were trying to say as a lie. Can you ever forgive me?", Hop Pop asked.

For a time, Rose was apprehensive and angry before softening a bit.

"Well, I guess it wasn't all your fault. Between you and me, I was a little crazy. So, of course I can forgive you, Hop Pop.", Rose grinned before hugging him as he returned the gesture with Rose glaring at Polly.

"You? Not so much.", Rose said, disgusted.

"That's fair.", Polly responded.

Meanwhile, Anne was still having armor trouble.

"Help. Please.", Anne pleaded.

"Anne!", Marcy shouted.

"Are you okay?!", Sprig added.

"I knew this was a bad idea.", Sasha groaned before she, Marcy, and the others picked off every piece of armor except for the chestplate.

"This feels... perfect!", Anne grinned, raising her fists.

Then, Marcy held Anne's cheeks.

"Are you ok? Did you hit your head? Are you crazy now?", Marcy asked before Anne lowered her friend's hands.

"Listen, I think the reason I don't want a new look because I'm finally happy with who I see in the mirror right now. So no matter what I put on, I just wanna see the same person smiling back. So what do you guys think?", Anne asked, looking in her reflection in Frobo's body.

"Minimalist. Bernardo like.", Bernardo grinned.

"You're right. It is perfect.", Marcy grinned.

"You took the words right out of my mouth, Mar-Mar.", Sasha grinned.

"Not even a summer cut is necessary right now.", Marcy grinned.

"Good.", Anne grinned.

Just then, Maddie appeared.

"Wait! Hold everything!", Maddie shouted.

"Maddie!", Marcy shouted.

"What are you doing here?", Max asked.

"What's up?", Alexis asked.

"I just finished these cooling potions. And since you're heading into the 3rd temple, I figured now would be a good time to bring those with us for the trip.", Maddie grinned.

"That's a great idea, Maddie.", Max grinned.

"Whoo!", Sprig cheered.

Meanwhile, Hop Pop turned to Rose, who asked him something.

"Is it okay if I hang out with them for the night, Hop Pop?", Rose asked.

"Of course, Rose. Be my guest.", Hop Pop responded before she left with Bessie and MicroAngelo, all whistling together while heading into the shed.

"Wish I was a cute, little snail.", Hop Pop said to himself.

"Okay, what did I miss?", Jackie asked.

Later that night, Rose finished putting the finishing touches on the family photo and looked to Bessie and MicroAngelo sleeping together with a grin.

"Welcome to the family, MicroAngelo.", Rose grinned before it ended with a picture of MicroAngelo winking.
