Hello again everyone, we are back.

I'm glad I took more time with this one. Before we begin, let's tackle a few questions.

triscythe59 & Quirk Guest – Did I see Vol 9? Yes. I enjoyed it, though I did think it could have benefited from maybe one or two more episodes, in part so that we got to examine character reactions, allow the characters themselves to process certain things, as well as pace out the finale a little better. Otherwise, very good, and it will have an impact on Paragons in the distant future.

Maximum Rhapsody – You asked/speculated about Professor Peach showing up, as well as about how Bakugo's behaviour will be tolerated (or not). Peach will get a mention this chapter, but no plans for more than that I'm afraid. Though this chapter does include a member of staff mentioned in lore, but never described beyond name and teaching subject. And as for Bakugo, yes, he will find that while aspects of his behaviour have been tolerated to a degree at UA, they will not be tolerated here. See the preview for a hint…

laratravisanello – You asked if I could write a crossover fic either between Black Clover and Fairy Tail, and/or Jutusu Kaisen and Tokyo Revengers. Firstly, I appreciate that you think I could do a good story for such crossovers. But the answer is sadly no, for two reasons. I'm currently neck deep in writing Paragons right now, and I tend to do better when I have one project to focus on, rather than several. The other reason is that I'm not that familiar with all four of those fandoms (Fairy Tail, I know best, but it has been a fair few years since I last read it) and right now, without a deep understanding of the story and characters of each, I doubt I would do them the justice they deserve. Sorry.

I do appreciate the reviews and comments people make, as it not only shows me how much you're enjoying the story, but also letting me know of potential pitfalls and problems. Constructive criticism will always be welcome, if it helps me improve as a writer. Thanks to such, having looked over previous chapters, I have picked up on a few spelling errors, clunky sentences and mistakes. There will likely be an update/edit on those chapters in the very near future to clean that up, and maintain consistency. So many thanks to you all.

More Notes at the end. Meanwhile, let us hit "PLAY".

Izuku tapped the record button on his scroll and then stood back, seeing himself in the 'camera feed' along with the various curtains around each of his team-mates beds.

"It has been a week since we first arrived at Beacon, so this seems like a good time to do a summary of what's been happening." He paused for breath, once again going over his thoughts and making sure they were in order. "Firstly, we've had some basic lessons on Aura use, building on what we were initially told about in the Hospital. Schnee and Ren have been the ones principally responsible for those sessions, though a few others from RWBY and JNPR have joined us…"

"Jaune?" Yaoyorozu looked surprised as the older blonde boy sat down just behind her and Ojiro, while Lie Ren sat on a bench cross legged, going through some simple breathing exercises to help relax the body and mind. He had suggested they do these sessions outdoors, and Weiss, and Iida, had agreed.

Jaune quietly gave a self conscious chuckle. "...Um, hi! Don't mind me." He whispered. Behind him, Ruby Rose was awkwardly trying to sit next to Midoriya and Uraraka without making a scene.

Yaoyorozu raised a questioning eyebrow, and whispered back, whilst Ojiro switched his head back and forth between paying attention to the Mistralin boy, and listening in. "What are you doing here?"

"...I'll keep this brief, since we're about to start, but I've been having trouble of late. Haven't been doing as well as I'd hoped in... a lot of areas. Pyrrha is helping me with that in some ways, but I figured I could also go back over the basics of Aura control to help me out." Jaune jerked his head behind him, as Ruby sat next to Uraraka, though Weiss had noticed and was pinching the bridge of her nose. "Ruby also had a similar idea, since she got into Beacon two years earlier than everyone else. You guys don't mind do you?" He suddenly looked a little nervous. Yaoyorozu smiled gently, and even Ojiro gave him a reassuring nod.

"Not at all. That sounds very wise. I also believe that mastering the basics is important in order to become a hero... or in your case a Huntsmen."

"Ahem!" Yaoyorozu shot her head around to see Weiss scowling impatiently in their direction. Bowing her head in apology, they continued to listen and follow Ren's breathing exercises…

"...between that, and both Mr Aizawa and All Might, pushing us to keep up our physical fitness, as well as some Quirk training, we're not lacking for physical activity" Izuku continued. He then rubbed the back of his head and looked away for a moment.

"Quirk training has been a little harder, since they don't really have the facilities we have at UA for such things, though that hasn't stopped our teachers, and Beacon staff from doing what they can." He looked back, arms falling to his sides.

"Our costumes have been repaired, and what support gear we had with us returned. Just in time too, as Ms Goodwitch, and Mr Aizawa had some of us fight in Beacon's combat class. That was pretty exciting, and I have a lot of new notes on how Huntsmen and Huntresses operate." He grinned, thinking back to how Kacchan had fought to a draw against Xiao...against Yang, and how Yaoyorozu had been able to surprise Pyrrha Nikos before graciously accepting defeat. And then how Mineta had won…

"...Ah! Yes... something else important happened the other day." He closed his hands together in front of him and looked down. "The girls, and funnily enough, Kaminari, got worried about Mineta. Specifically in regards to his... passionate interests." Izuku sighed. Then he looked up. "After talking with Todoroki, Iida, and Yaoyorozu, we as a class came to a consensus…"

Mineta came to, only to find himself taped securely to a chair, while a lamp was aimed directly at his face, providing the only light, but also keeping him from seeing anything. The small boy struggled and mumbled though a tape gag, before a voice got him to stay still.

"Minoru Mineta. This... is an intervention!" The lamp light went out, and the regular room light came on. He was in Team STRM's dorm room, but he was surrounded by all of 1-A. By the lamp, and wearing shades was a very, very serious Ashido. Standing beside her was Todoroki, Iida and Yaoyorozu.

"Mineta, as your Class Rep, and your team-mate," Iida said, his arm chop, chop, chopping away, "we are doing this for your own good! It has come to our attention that you plan to disgrace our class's reputation by pursuing perverted actions against our friends and hosts from Team RWBY!"

Grape Juice's eyes widened, and he began to sweat, only to suddenly narrow his eyes, and turned his head as much as he could towards the one he thought had betrayed him; Kaminari. The blonde looked at him with a sympathetic eyes, but he also looked tired.

"Dude, I'm your friend, and I like girls as much as the next guy. But even I know that what you suggested was going too far. Raiding their room? It wouldn't be tolerated back at our own dorms, and I'm pretty sure the Huntresses would actually kill you, Aura or not."

"Kaminari reported your text to his team, who then contacted the rest of us." Todoroki put in. "For now we're choosing to resolve this without Mr Aizawa or the Beacon staff getting involved."

"But that will change if you chose to continue as you are." Yaoyorozu firmly stated. "For your continued spot on the hero course, as well as being a part of 1-A, and becoming the 'cool hero' you say you wish to be, these perverted behaviours and intrusions into any girl's dorm, locker rooms, and personal space, has to stop."

"That... took a while," Izuku sighed. "For now, at the very least, the matter is resolved, though I wouldn't be surprised if Todoroki and Iida aren't keeping a sharper eye on Mineta whilst they are a team." He shook his head, before moving on.

"We haven't really taken part in the Beacon lectures yet, not counting the Combat class. I know that All Might and Mr Aizawa have sat through a few. I heard that they would be having a meeting this morning with Vale's Council. Maybe we'll get to see more of the city, or even work with the Pro Huntsmen around!" That got him excited. Maybe it'd be like the internships and work studies, just without the chaos of the frequent Villain attacks. "Other than that, Ruby and Jaune have been wanting to have a talk about support gear and heroes…"

"Deku?" Uraraka's voice called out from beyond the room. "Come on, you're going to be late for breakfast!"

"R-right! Sorry!" Izuku called back, embarrassed at taking so long. "I'll be right there!" He turned back and walked up to the scroll. "I will update later," he said aloud as he terminated the recording.

[Cue Opening – Save the Day]

Episode 6: New Tools of Trade

Food Hall, Beacon Academy

"Hey guys," Jaune said bringing his breakfast tray to RWBY's table, causing Weiss to quirk a questioning eyebrow, especially as he was followed immediately by the rest of his team, "you haven't started yet have you?"

"Started what?" Blake was confused, "breakfast?"

"Too late for that," Yang stated, after swallowing a mouthful of scrambled egg. Ruby nervously hummed, which got everyone's attention.

"Sorry... I did mean to tell you guys," she took a breath as she looked her friends in the eye. "I asked Jaune if he and the rest of JNPR would join us, so that we could quickly discuss how we, as Huntresses and Huntsmen, go forward with training whilst helping out 1-A."

Jaune nodded, and the rest of his team seemed in the know as well, which made Weiss more irritated. "And you only remember to tell us this now, because...?"

Ruby frowned. "Jaune and I had just finished agreeing to set it up, but when I came through the door, the first thing you did was remind me of that essay I had to finish for Professor Greene, and then you wouldn't let me do anything else until you were sure I'd done, at least, fifteen hundred words. By that point I just wanted to sleep, so, I'm sorry if it slipped my mind." Weiss opened her mouth to retort to this, but after a moment closed it, and shook her head.

"Fine. What exactly did you both have in mind?" Ruby's frown lessened, glad that her partner was not fighting her on forgetting.

"Well, after seeing 1-A in action, both when they first arrived, and in Goodwitch's class, what's everyone's general assessment of them?" Weiss took a moment to consider the question.

"Hmm, to be honest, collectively they're strong, with a wide array of impressive abilities. Despite being younger than most of us, they are certainly able to keep up with us first years, at the very least." Weiss took a sip of her morning coffee, continuing to marshal her thoughts, while Blake and Yang nodded in agreement. "Some individuals, I have... questions... regarding how they got onto a course for future heroes."

"Are you thinking about Mineta, and the fact that 1-A openly admit that he's a pervert?" Nora bluntly asked, even as she sucked up a pancake, licking her lips afterwards. Blake gave the ginger haired girl a look of grateful relief.

"Finally! I was wondering when someone else was going to pick up on that!" She glanced over to her right. Only a table away was 1-A, who were all happily eating, whilst Iida and Yaoyorozu conducted their own class meeting. She noticed team CFVY walking over to them, but turned her attention back to her own table, as Jaune began to respond to her statement.

"I did pick up on it, and Pyrrha and I talked to Yaoyorozu about it." He frowned, recalling the discussion. "1-A is a tight group that has been through a lot together, so they tolerate each other's eccentricities to some extent, but Mineta has had a history, over the first semester, of trying to peep on the girls, or tricking them with Kaminari into wearing cheerleader outfits."

Yang low whistled, "Wow. Sounds like there's a story to be told on that last one, but yeah, that sounds super creepy." Yang remembered cheering on Mineta against Cardin, and now felt a little conflicted. If the dwarf tried ever peeping on her, her friends, or her sister, she'd pummel his face in and happily deal with the consequences later. Kaminari too, if he joined in.

"Yeah, so I came up with some improvised training for if we ever caught him in our room." Jaune said, thinking back to a day or so ago…

"GRAPE-RUSH! DODGE, DODGE DODGE!" Jaune threw balls from a pile beside him at Ren, while Pyrrha filmed with her scroll. Ren was wearing a Velcro suit, which, if the balls hit, they would stick to. Ren however was moving very well despite the small amount of room, Nora cheering him from behind Pyrrha.

"Remember not to step on them!" Jaune called out, "You step on them, you get stuck!"

Ren suddenly grabbed a book off a nearby writing desk and threw it at Jaune striking him in the face, and the ball throwing ceased.

"Ow!" Jaune had both hands to his face, thankful for his large Aura reserves, and the fact that he hadn't broken his nose. Ren looked sheepish.

"Sorry Jaune…"

"Don't be!" Jaune waved away the apology. "You did great, precisely what was needed." He smiled, despite the red mark on his face where the book had impacted, showing no hard feelings.

"Grape Attack!" Jaune threw a pillow at Nora who immediately grabbed a chair and punted it away into a wall. Jaune was very grateful that Ren and Pyrrha had directed them away from hits that could break the window. Nora was grinning ear to ear.

"Oh I am so ready for if Grape Juice tries something!"

"Incoming pervert!" Jaune yelled as he launched himself at Pyrrha who had her back turned. She swiftly turned and caught him, and threw him over her shoulder in one smooth motion. Jaune hit the floor hard enough to take the air out of him.

Pyrrha took one look at Jaune on the floor and felt a rush of sympathy. "I'm sorry!" she said, but Jaune raised a shaky thumbs up.

"No... you're good. But how about... we take five? Sound good?" Pyrrha nodded, and the hand fell down, as Jaune gave a relieved sigh…

"...It was painful, but I think we're as ready as we can be." Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang simply blinked, surprised at the level of devotion and crazy preparation Jaune was committed to, in order to protect his team. "I mean, I hope that he won't do it. Give him the benefit of the doubt, and trust the others to keep him in line and all that," he hurriedly said. "But, yeah, better prepared, just in case."

"Huh." Yang said, quietly impressed, "I had been wondering what all the noise was coming from your room was all about. Now I know."

"What about just getting Yaoyorozu to make that spray that prevents his Quirk from affecting his clothes?" Weiss said, also internally impressed at Jaune, but feeling he might be taking it a little far. "Just having that on your own clothes and gear would guarantee that he can't use his Quirk, since you seem to be thinking he'll use it to protect himself, or... give himself an advantage..." she shuddered at the thought. Jaune held up two fingers as he answered.

"Good question. First off, last I was aware, Yaoyorozu hasn't got that made yet," he used his left hand to pull down his middle finger, leaving his index up as he made his points. "And second... I legitimately forgot about that until you brought it up." He planted his forehead on the table in shame, while Pyrrha, anticipating this, moved his breakfast out of the way.

"We both did, to be fair." Pyrrha said patting Jaune's back. Ruby coughed to get their attention.

"We're getting off topic a little here," she said, surprisingly serious. "We can ask Yaomomo to make both our teams some of said spray if she ever figures it out, and we can talk to her and Iida about making sure Mineta doesn't try anything."

"I think that might be covered already." Ren spoke up, while Nora just had a very satisfied look on her face…

Mineta was sweating and shaking in his seat, as Mina made him watch the videos sent to her by Nora. The videos demonstrating how Team JNPR was preparing to deal with any untoward and inappropriate actions, by his, or any other person.

"And if this is how JNPR is preparing, how do you think team RWBY will handle things, hmm?"

Mineta could only emphatically nod, terrified for his life. He was more than ready to promise to behave himself, both here and back at UA.

"...In any case," Ruby said, "we'll judge Mineta and the others by their words and actions going forward."

"That is...reasonable," Blake nodded, while Yang thought back briefly to her talk with Bakugo, where he had said he'd try not to purposefully rile up her and the others, but wasn't looking to being liked. She turned her attention back to her younger sister as she continued.

"The point, that me and Jaune agreed on, and why we're having a meeting, is that we should look to improve ourselves, even as we help out 1-A." Jaune removed his forehead from the table as she said that.

"Yeah," he said, "we have to remember that we're first years ourselves at Beacon, and that we've got lots to learn, on top of whatever talent and skills we brought with us before Initiation."

"Momo almost had me during our match the other day," Pyrrha mused, seeing where the two team leaders were coming from. "I'm so used to fighting similar kinds of opponents, fighters like Cardin and his team, that her tactics and ability briefly had me off-guard. It actually has me excited to think about how to improve, on-top of helping guide their class."

Weiss looked at Jaune and Pyrrha thoughtfully. She didn't think much of Jaune's talent and skill ('honestly, it's like he had no training whatsoever before Beacon') but he did make a valid point regardless. And Pyrrha Nikos said she was excited to improve herself whilst helping 1-A with their training. Pyrrha freaking-Mistral-Tournament-champion Nikos.

She briefly thought about the members of Class 1-A and almost immediately, the face of Shoto Todoroki appeared. The handsome boy with impressive ice and fire powers who could give her a run for her money in elemental usage. She'd heard that he was a recommendation student, one who had passed a separate test to the others (bar Yaoyorozu who was also a recommendation student), and that he was well liked and respected by pretty much everyone.

Except Bakugo. Honestly, that explosive thug didn't seem to respect anyone unless they were teachers. Of the students she had difficulty accepting that they would become good 'Pro-Heroes,' Bakugo was up there with Mineta. She wasn't at all surprised to hear that he failed an important license exam, though the fact that Todoroki had as well, did surprise her.

She came to a conclusion; she would get closer to Todoroki, and learn about him, and possibly learn how to improve herself as well.

And that improvement would be the edge her team needed to win the upcoming Vytal Tournament. She cleared her throat. "I find your proposal acceptable. I'm sure we can all help each other improve and make each other stronger, Heroes and Huntsmen alike."

Blake gave her a lidded look that pierced Weiss's high class persona. "You want to get an advantage in order to win the Tournament don't you?"

"You can't prove that." Weiss shot back, annoyed at being seen through so easily. Yang decided at that point to speak up and prevent a possible argument.

"Bakugo wants a rematch against me, and I have no intention of refusing. But," she gave a serious look around the table, impressing the point that she wasn't playing around like she normally would, "I know I need to improve a lot! I won't be able to beat him the same way again, and I know that trying to dodge those super massive explosions of his will be a pain. The most I can come up with right now is changing up Ember Celica's ammo, but that feels like the bare minimum. Maybe doing some sparring with Kirishima and the others will give me some more ideas, till I figure out what's just right."

Ruby nodded, glad that everyone was pretty much on board. "Speaking of our weapons," she said, bringing everyone's attention back to her again, "I've been trying to find a moment to talk to Midoriya about equipping 1-A with some Huntsmen style support equipment, but we could also take this as a chance to re-examine our own gear, and think about improving it, right?" There was a brief pause as the others considered that. Students normally came to Beacon with their weapon and style already figured out. They were frequently each Huntsmen's and Huntresses' pride, as it was an extension of themselves. But that didn't mean they couldn't modify or make adaptations in order to better move forward…

"Yo Ruby!" Everyone was shaken from their thoughts as they turned towards the voice of Coco Adel who was now leaving her team, still talking to 1-A (mostly Midoriya, what about exactly, was unclear. Though Bakugo looked annoyed). "what are you guys talking about so intensely over there?"

"Oh hey Coco!" Ruby waved, as the second year Huntress came up to their table, standing at the end with Yang on one side, and Nora on the other. "Just, ya-know, how to improve, and how we can help out 1-A." Coco smiled in response.

"Makes sense. I swear, our three teams seem to be the only ones in the whole school willing to hang out with them. Everybody else is either too nervous, treating them like celebrities," Coco noticed as she said that a very subtle twitch from Pyrrha, sifting a little closer to Jaune, but Coco continued like she hadn't seen a thing. "Or they are absolute jerks like Team CRDL. I hear Cardin did lose pretty spectacularly against Mineta in combat class."

RWBY and JNPR laughed a little at that. Even if Mineta was a pervert, it had been pretty satisfying to see Cardin humbled. "That is certainly true." Ren replied, the quickest out of the table to recover from the amusement. Blake then turned in her seat to better address Coco.

"If it's okay to ask, Coco," she said, "what's going on between your team and Midoriya right now?"

"Oh that?" Coco smirked. "We were curious about the 'Pro-Heroes' from their world, and Velvet was feeling a little down. So I hoped there might be a rabbit themed hero, or whatever their equivalent of the Faunus is over there, that they could tell us about and would cheer her up." She jerked a thumb over her shoulder. "Pretty much everyone directed us to Midoriya as the resident encyclopedia on Heroes, and he's been going over some of Japan's Top Ten. Turns out one of them is the 'Rabbit Hero' Miruko. A buff, combat orientated Hero, who's pretty popular, despite not being one for team-ups." She looked back, focusing on Velvet who was happily chatting with Midoriya and Koda. Yatsuhashi was as ever close by, but he was smiling too, while Fox kept a little distance, not wanting to potentially reveal his blindness, at this time. "I think that pretty much made her day."

Blake smiled at that. "Glad to hear it." Coco turned her head back and gave a small nod of acknowledgement before focusing on the whole table once more.

"So you guys are looking to take some inspiration from our visitors, if I'm understanding things right."

"Yeah, well, there's always room to improve, right?" Jaune said. This was probably the longest conversation he'd had, or at least been part of with CFVY's leader. "And as a good friend told me, as a leader, I have to put the team first, so taking every chance to get better together is a good thing, right?" Coco lowered her shades as she glanced in Ruby's direction. Ruby blushed and tried to look nonchalant.

"Sounds like a pretty wise friend." Coco said, correctly guessing that Ruby must have been the one to tell him that. After all, during the after-party of Initiation, Coco had given her the exact same advice. She winked at Ruby before setting the shades back up. "I'm going to wish you all good luck with that. And don't be shy about asking for advice from us either. We wouldn't be cool upper-classmen if we didn't help our under-classmen out, now and again."

"Class 1-A!" A deep voice suddenly boomed out across the hall. Everybody looked up and around, and saw Professor Mulberry standing by one of the doors leading into the hall. "Once you're done with your breakfast, come find me in Workshop room B." The balding man looked about the hall and caught sight of Ruby and the others. "Miss Rose, Mr Arc, please gather your teams and join us, as soon as you are able."

"Wow." Yang said, completely deadpan. "We were only talking about upgrading weapons and making some for 1-A, like five minutes ago. It's like we summoned him with that." Coco shook her head with amusement.

"Sounds like you've got your day already planned out then. Good luck, with whatever that's all about, and don't forget about what I said."

"We won't," Ruby said, standing up along with her team. "Thanks Coco. We'll talk later."

Workshop B "The Anvil", Beacon Academy

The Professor, standing in front of a large whiteboard, watched as 1-A, and Teams RWBY and JNPR, entered and took a seat. While Workshop A 'The Forge,' focused on weapon construction and heavy maintenance, 'The Anvil' was a workshop that largely focused on design and simple maintenance, though like all the others, it connected to a firing range and three test areas, so that each weapon could be rigorously tested in it's creation and upkeep. Simple tools were hung or kept in cabinets around the back of the room. Much like the other workshops, it had a very warm and earthy feel in it's interior colours, making the students feel like they'd just entered a blacksmith's abode.

Mulberry smiled in welcome, warm and genuine. Ruby Rose was one of the few who smiled back, and she even gave a little wave, that made the man want to laugh. Ruby was already becoming one of his favourite students in the short time she had been at Beacon.

[Prof. Port: "Professor Harold Mulberry. Huntsman and Teacher at Beacon Academy.

Class Subject: Weapon Crafting and Upkeep.

Weapon: 'Vulkan' a mighty war-hammer that utilises Dust crystals to further empower the heavy blows he deals out."]

He stood five foot nine, with dark black skin, violet eyes, and a grey goatee. He was in his sixties, but still powerfully built, and more than happy to prove his ability at handling the forge. He had his personal war-hammer 'Vulkan' mounted on a plinth in his private office.

He was rarely seen away from the workshops, but he was also well liked and respected. Every student, even Winchester and his team, knew better than to mess around in his lessons and forges, because the man was just that essential in helping them keep their gear working like it should.

"Welcome all of you. To those of you I haven't met before, I am Professor Mulberry." He strode forward. The tables that the students sat at were arranged in a manner similar to the tiered seating in the lecture rooms the other professors used. This put him in the centre of a half-moon of students. "I'm not one to beat around the bush, so allow me to get straight to the point. While your teachers are with Ozpin and Goodwitch, talking with the Council today, I've been asked to help you all come up with new support equipment, more appropriate to combat here on Remnant."

Ruby and her team-mates quickly shared glances with each other, and with Jaune and the others. The whole thing felt serendipitous. 1-A however responded with a measure of shock and confusion.

"What?!" Mulberry put up his hands and the joint outcry and exclamations of surprise died down. One student however stood up.

"Professor!" Iida called out, standing ramrod straight and his arms, while not outstretched, were still making chopping movements. "As Class Representative, I must protest! While I have nothing but admiration and respect for the staff and students of this academy, we at UA are training to be Pro-Heroes, not Huntsmen. I do not understand why we should be equipped with Huntsmen gear, which by it's very nature, is intended to cause lethal harm!" Mulberry nodded, expecting the response, if not in such a serious and earnest way.

"I understand your confusion, and your concern," he began, "and rest assured that this was not a decision that your teachers came to lightly…"

"Absolutely not." Aizawa stated firmly. All Might beside him looked uncomfortable, while the homeroom teacher looked determined and adamant in his position.

Ozpin had invited the pair to his office in the clock tower, and there they had been introduced to Mulberry. When the subject of the meeting came up however, Aizawa was quick with his answer.

Mulberry noticed that Ozpin, as he always tended to, looked patient and understanding. He probably anticipated such a response, but clearly believed that the conversation needed to happen anyway. Goodwitch, at his side, spoke up.

"I'm sorry Aizawa, but I don't quite understand your refusal. This was something we did in part go over back at the Hospital, when you asked about how we would help protect your students."

"As you said, Goodwitch," Aizawa nodded slightly, "we went over it, 'in part'.' And while I certainly appreciated the offer, having had more time to look at the typical weapons that Beacon students wield, I can't in good conscience agree." Goodwitch frowned slightly, and Mulberry himself could relate.

"Forgive me," Mulberry spoke up then, getting everyone's attention, "for while I understand that your Academy, and Beacon, no doubt have different rules in how they operate, and what is acceptable, I must admit to some confusion." He opened his arms in a gesture of openness. "From what I understand, Pro-Heroes have to fight Villains, and that generally requires some knowledge of combat, along with gear to assist in such matters. Having looked over the support gear your students carry, I did see a few that definitely stood out as combat centric, but not all. Is it simply because you focus so much on your Quirks in such matters?"

"Yes, and no," All Might responded. "There is a great focus on using our Quirks, since that is one of the advantages Pro-Heroes have over many in law enforcement and to a lesser extent the armed forces, like the JSDF. Heroes can use their Quirks to fight villains, and are licensed accordingly."

"But while fighting Villains is part of our job, there are those amongst the Pro's who specialise in other areas such as rescue and evacuation. Villain fights might garner more attention from the press, but there are plenty of young hopefuls who apply to Hero schools, just as inspired by 'Rescue Heroes'. Support equipment isn't always for use in combat, but ways for the individual to better utilise their own abilities, even compensate for any downsides their Quirk may bring." Aizawa made a noise of agreement at what his colleague said, before standing up from his chair.

"I do advocate having a balance of skills, and even before All Might's retirement, making sure the students could survive in combat situations has been something I've pushed for, and overseen. But I also believe in letting the students figure out for themselves what they want to become. Ochaco Uraraka comes to mind as one of those students who has balanced herself out; She's aiming to become a Rescue Hero, but she took an internship with the brawler Gunhead, and branched out her skills, improving her unarmed combat capabilities."

"For how long did these internships last?" Ozpin asked, a tilt of his head indicating his polite curiosity.

Aizawa gave the Headmaster his full attention. "One week." Goodwitch gasped, and Mulberry was also shocked. "Internships are intended for students to explore what kind of Pro they want to be, and the kinds of environments they will operate in. For many, it's their first introduction to a Hero patrol, while under a Pro's supervision," Aizawa seemed to pick up on the train of thought they were having, and quickly gave more context. "Normally, it's also where they might have their first encounter with criminal activity. Though of course, this class of Problem Children got that earlier than anyone intended."

Mulberry noticed, a twitch on Glynda's face at the words 'Problem Children,' but she chose to leave that alone for the time being. "I... understand. But I have to admit I'm still surprised. I would have thought they would get far more intense combat training, both from UA itself, and from the Pro's they mentor under."

"I agree," Mulberry put in. "I commend Miss Uraraka on branching out her skills, but only having a week of formal tutoring, even from a Pro? I do think these children could be better served getting consistent training in such areas, as part of the curriculum."

Ozpin nodded to himself. "That would certainly be the case with the Combat schools that many students here, went to and graduated from, prior to enrolling at Beacon."

"Except for Ruby Rose." Aizawa said. All Might once again looked uncomfortable, his eyes on his fellow teacher, as if begging him not to antagonise their hosts. "I heard directly from her, that you essentially scouted her after she halted a Dust store robbery. I'm not sure I would've done the same after such reckless actions, regardless of her skills."

Ozpin smiled. It was the smile of someone who seemed to find something humorous, without breaking into laughter. Like they knew a secret that they were not about to tell. "While it is normal for a person to make it into the Huntsmen Academies through graduating a Combat school, it isn't the only way. I believe Miss Rose is more than capable of keeping up with the older students, and become a fine Huntress in time."

"I do believe, however, that you are trying to divert the conversation away from the main issue." Ozpin said, standing up and walking round his desk so that he was but a few feet away from Aizawa. All Might coughed, before responding to Ozpin's statement.

"Headmaster, however different things are between our worlds, I assure you that training these young heroes, and making sure they are protected is one of our top priorities. And Aizawa has put his life on the line more than once to protect the students, just as I have."

Ozpin raised his free hand, the one not holding his cane, 'The Long Memory', in a placating manner. "I apologise if any of us caused offence to either of you. That wasn't what I was trying to say, but you did bring up just now a point I was about to make." He looked Aizawa in eye. "You are not, on your world, anymore. If the situation was reversed and members of our student body had somehow ended up at UA, I don't doubt they would have to adapt to the rules and regulations of not just your school, but the country as well." Aizawa shifted, uncomfortably maybe.

"Here, while ideally they wouldn't have to deal with the Grimm again, only a fool would make that guarantee, and we have our own Villains. Perhaps not as powerful as what you normally have to deal with, but still dangerous in their own right. The incident you mentioned with Miss Rose? We know that Roman Torchwick got away, and he was aided by someone powerful enough to hold off a professional Huntress." He gave a small bow in Goodwitch's direction, the blonde straightening. Aizawa looked over at her, and she matched his stare. A silent conversation happened. Aizawa looked away as he got confirmation of what Ozpin was saying.

All Might fidgeted before speaking up again. "I'd like... to mention that we do have the Work Study program (though it is admittedly on hold at the moment). Students tend to get better experience there, as it literally is work outside of school, where they are treated as akin to sidekicks, and have to take a lot more responsibility. That aside..." he paused, putting his right hand to his chin as he marshalled his thoughts, "...I believe one of the biggest concerns Aizawa and I have, is the proliferation of weapons that incorporate firearms."

"Japan has extremely strict gun laws. And even in countries like the United States of America, where they are less severe, Hero students don't get access to such things, unless it relates to their Quirk and how to make it more effective." He looked back up at the assembled teachers. "Even then, they still have to pass rigorous classes and a separate exam just to be given a License to wield one."

Aizawa nodded, his eyes closed in thought, before turning back to Ozpin. "That's true. One of the teachers at UA is Snipe. His Quirk is 'Homing', and it allows him to control, to a certain extent, the trajectory of the projectiles he fires from his person. He does use a gun, but he's one of the few Pro's that does, since his Quirk allows him to be extremely accurate, and immobilise criminals without getting lethal. But he still had to go through the process of learning basic gun safety, long before he ever got permission to be equipped with one."

"I think I understand better now." Mulberry said. "You're worried that if the students are armed with Huntsman weapons, they'll more likely kill somebody, maybe even accidentally shoot one of their fellow classmates?"

"The thought has come to mind," Aizawa dryly said. Mulberry nodded, then smiled, in an effort to reassure both men.

"Then," Mulberry said, "I'll help them find what equipment is right for them as Heroes, and even if none of them go the route of having firearms, I'll give them full lectures and practice sessions on how to safely use, maintain, and disarm such weapons. They won't get anything, unless they can prove to me that they can use it responsibly."

"And we can further enforce that such weapons are intended solely for protecting themselves from the Grimm." Ozpin agreed. "What do you think?"

Aizawa and All Might exchanged a look, both uncomfortable, but also not arguing the logic of the suggestion put before them. Then Aizawa sighed heavily. "...I agree... that they can have gun safety lessons. I also agree that they can come up with ideas for Huntsmen inspired gear, however..." he looked firmly at Mulberry. "...All Might and myself will have final say on the designs. And I want them to know that there's no guarantee that they'll be allowed to keep such weapons when we get back. Not without serious modification and assessment from the Support Department."

Mulberry clapped his hands. "Done. Just leave it to me…"

"... Does that explain things better Mr Iida?" Mulberry asked. Iida hesitated, considering the summary Mulberry had disclosed about the conversation between their teachers and Beacon staff.

"...I admit to still being uncomfortable with the idea, though I do understand a little better. I apologise. Please continue." He bowed deeply at the waist, but Mulberry gave him an understanding smile and insisted he retake his seat.

"So you're saying," Ojiro mused out loud, "that we just need to come up with gear that would help us out better against the Grimm, and if we take to it, when we get back we could look to having it approved and modified for hero work." Mulberry nodded, but before he could speak someone else loudly spoke up.

"You idiots," The class turned to face Bakugo, expressions of exasperation, and a few in depressed acceptance, but the ash blonde ignored them. "The guns we might incorporate are for the Grimm, but we shouldn't underestimate the Villains in this world either." He looked and pointed at Yang and her friends, the blonde brawler briefly taken aback. "You saw what Xiao Long and Sparta girl could do in Goodwitch's class, and we all saw how effective their teams were against the Grimm back in the forest. If the heroes here are that skilled and competent, then it just makes sense that some Villains would be too!"

"Bakugo might be vulgar, but he does make a good point. It would be logical to assume that some criminals here would also develop effective fighting skills, along with having access to Aura and Semblance." Yaoyorozu said thoughtfully.

"Wait a minute," Jaune said, not quite daring to believe, "did you just call us, 'heroes'...?"

"In any case," Bakugo ignored him, leaving Jaune to comically sweat-drop, "while I don't want to end up over relying on any piece of gear, I'm not dumb enough to not recognise the benefits."

"There is wisdom in what he just said," Mulberry retook the conversation, "over relying on anything is dangerous. That goes for weapons, and for powers, whether you call them Semblances or Quirks."

Ruby dipped her head a little, even as her big sister gave her a teasing nudge and smirk. Yang and their Uncle, had repeatedly tried to get Ruby to improve her own unarmed combat skills, but the young girl definitely struggled in that area, and in response, had become more dependent on her precious Crescent Rose than ever. Some of the other Trainee Hunters briefly considered whether or not they were over dependent on their weapons or powers.

"Right now though, I would like all of you to take a table with your team-mates and come up with a rough idea of what kind of weapon you think would work best for you. Consider these points; Is it within my capacity to learn how to use this quickly? Does it complement my powers, and existing skill set? And can it compensate for areas that I am weak at?" Mulberry smiled before clapping his hands. "Come one! Hop to it! If you have questions, don't be shy to ask. Myself and the Beacon freshmen will help you out." He gave a quick glance at said freshmen. Ruby had recovered some of her previous energy, and nodded enthusiastically. Jaune simply gave a salute.

"Todoroki," Iida addressed his friend as they, along with Mineta and Sato sat around their chosen table, "what are your feelings on this?" Todoroki looked down at the table, deep in thought, before responding.

"I think I understand." He said after a moments pause, "though I can also see why some of our classmates would be extremely uncomfortable." He locked eyes with Iida, and the class rep's expression briefly darkened as they both recalled a battle in Hosu, against a blade wielding Villain who had crippled Iida's older brother. Iida shook that off, quickly though, his determination to improve and not repeat his mistakes driving him. Todoroki took note of that before continuing.

"To the point of why it's probably necessary, there was a moment when I was struggling with my Quirk, a brief moment when I wasn't aware of my surroundings. If it hadn't been for Yaoyorozu, I might have ended up dead, or at the very least badly maimed." He looked the rest of his team-mates in the eyes as they also recalled their encounter with the Grimm. "Our Quirks are our primary means to defend ourselves most of the time, but for the times when that power is exhausted, or simply not appropriate, having additional options would be useful."

"Yeah," Sato said leaning forward. "I think I might have an idea already of what I could go with. I was thinking a mace, but with maybe an extending chain feature, so I could get a long range strike in, or use as a morning-star."

Todoroki nodded, and even Iida looked approvingly at Sato's idea. "That's not a bad idea at all, and I could even see it being modified so that it would be appropriate for hero work!" Iida turned after that, with a smile to Mineta, only to be a little concerned as he saw the worried and downcast expression on the boy's face. "Mineta?"

"It won't work!" Mineta wailed suddenly. A few heads popped up from other tables, but Mineta didn't notice. "I thought about having a grenade launcher that could be modified to fire my own sticky balls over longer ranges! But my body and arms are so short I won't be able to carry it around, let alone use it!"

Todoroki looked a little sympathetic, though given that he wasn't usually that expressive, not many people would notice. "I see. Given your size, most weapons would be difficult to utilise." The blunt statement of Mineta's predicament only drove the boy further into depression.

"I could've called it the 'Grapeshot!' It would've been perfect!"

"Hey Jiro," Kaminari had just snapped his fingers as he thought of something, before turning to his partner and team-mate "I think I've got an idea that you could use."

"Huh?" Jiro, who had been lost in own thoughts while Shoji brought over pencils and paper for their team, looked up, admittedly curious as to what Kaminari's dumb brain had come up with, this time.

"You should go with an electric guitar that's also an axe!" Kaminari's excitement ended as two Jacks stopped a centimetre away from his eyeballs. Jiro looked at him with annoyed disbelief.

"Really?" she asked, "just because I like music, doesn't automatically mean I want a weapon in the form of an instrument. Do you think you're being clever?"

"It's not a bad idea," Mulberry said coming over. Jiro dropped her Jacks away from Kaminari, who sighed in relief, while she looked embarrassed, and even surprised, to hear a teacher give Jamming-yayy credit. "If music is a passion of yours, there's no reason why you couldn't utilise that as a weapon. After all," he pointed to her Jacks, "you are no stranger to sound attacks."

"...I guess..." Jiro said hesitantly, taking her Jacks in her fingers and clicking them together. "I just... I didn't used to think I could ever use my music as part of my Hero work. Sato and Mina have hobbies that directly help them, while I... have only recently started to see ways my music can help people. I also think, I'm kind of adverse to the idea of potentially wrecking a guitar. I'm not that kind of rocker."

Mulberry smiled, understanding where she was coming from but still... "You wouldn't be the first Huntress or Huntsman who ever made an instrument, their weapon." That got a startled look from her, and a bit of joyous surprise from both Kaminari and Koda. "Your weapon should be an extension of who you are. And with the materials we have to work with, I guarantee we could make a perfectly workable instrument, that could double as a melee weapon, and possibly incorporate some Dust for ranged attacks. Ultimately it's up to you though."

Jiro stared at him in awe as she processed that, while Kaminari babbled about how cool it would be for Jiro to be a rock and roll hero, beating up villains and shredding chords. Surprisingly, she remembered her father's words to her when she declared that she wanted to become a Pro-hero.

'Kyoka... You can do whatever you want.'

She took a breath, even as she blushed. "W-well, if it's actually practical to do," she said looking up at Mulberry, "I guess I could give it a shot."

"Give me a rough design, and what you'd like it to do, and I'll have it made for you to try out." Mulberry assured.

Yaoyorozu looked up from her group, and scanned for members of Team RWBY and JNPR. MMAT was having a little difficulty in figuring out what they could do, and could certainly use a more experienced perspective. Professor Mulberry was currently discussing something with Shoji and Koda at Team MJKK's table, while Bakugo and Kirishima had called over Yang and Nora, with Ren going with them to help keep things calm.

Weiss Schnee had gone over to Team STRM's table, and had sat herself down next to Todoroki, while giving her advice (Mineta seemed quietly furious that she hadn't sat next to him). Ruby and Pyrrha were having what looked like a very intense discussion with Midoriya and his team (was it her imagination, or did Tsu look upset? She was likely one of the few in their class who would be extremely uncomfortable with the idea of carrying weapons. She could trust Midoriya and the others to look into that, and check on her later after all this was over).

That left Blake and Jaune. Yaoyorozu smiled, already feeling that those two would be more than able to assist. "Blake! Jaune!" She called lightly, and waved to get their attention. Blake had been standing by herself, almost as if she preferred a measure of solitude, whilst Jaune had looked a little unsure of where he could help out best. Both looked round at Yaoyorozu's voice. "Would you both care to help us out?" Jaune rubbed the back of his neck bashfully, but smiled and walked over, while Blake hesitated a moment before following.

"Hey Yaoyorozu, Ojiro, Hagakure, Aoyama," Jaune greeted each member of the team one by one, while Blake just gave a quiet nod of acknowledgement. "How can we help you?"

"Well, for the most part, all of us are having some difficulty coming up with something that suits us." Yaoyorozu explained, while Hagakure's body bounced in a way that suggested she was emphatically nodding.

"The only one of us, who has come up with an idea of what to have, is Aoyama," Ojiro pointed towards his team-mate, who was... posing for some reason. And somehow twinkling.

'Is that... part of his Quirk?' Blake wondered, before asking, "so, what did you come up with?" Aoyama posed again with a flourish.

"Since Jaune and I have a similar 'knight in shining armour' aesthetic, and because my Quirk already dazzles at long range, I have decided to adopt a sabre, one that will always reflect my sparkle!" Aoyama said dramatically.

Jaune and Blake simply stared at him for a moment before simply giving a slow nod. "...Okay." Their joint deadpan response, made the self absorbed boy wince, but the pair had already moved their attention back to the rest of Yaoyorozu's team.

"Well then... let's go round. Ojiro is a close combat specialist who specialises in martial arts," Jaune thought out loud. "are you looking to stick in that area, or maybe have a weapon that gives you a bit more range?"

Blake nodded, as she had an idea. "Would like to do something similar to Gambol Shroud perhaps? Have some range, but also enhance your close combat attacks?"

Ojiro looked down, a little embarrassed. "Honestly... while those do sound smart, I don't really see that as something that really fits me." He looked back up at them and the rest of his team, scratching his cheek, "Since my Quirk is my tail, I simply prefer to use martial arts. While having a weapon might be useful, I simply feel more comfortable without one. It's silly, I know."

"It's not silly at all!" Hagakure exclaimed. "You're a strong fighter, and playing to your strengths is really smart." Yaoyorozu nodded, even as Jaune put a hand to his chin in thought, and Blake also mused on the issue.

"I agree, with Hagakure," Yaoyorozu stated. "There's no point in having a weapon or support gear equipped, if it only causes more problems to adapt to, then it solves."

"How about chain-mail?" Jaune suggested, which got everyone looking at him curiously. Surprised by the scrutiny, he got a little flustered, but explained. "I mean, for his tail! It's his power, but it's also a pretty vulnerable spot, especially if he ends up fighting someone with a weapon."

"That's... actually a really good point." Blake agreed, pleasantly surprised by Jaune's suggestion. She turned her gaze on Ojiro. "Even with Aura as a shield, you have to remember that it needs focus to maintain, and if it's gone, you're back to having no protection. A chain-mail sleeve or body-glove, would better protect your tail, whilst also not inhibiting it's movement."

"And it would also be additionally painful to anyone hit by it!" Hagakure cheered. Ojiro honestly looked surprised, before rubbing his head bashfully.

"Truth be told... now that you say it out loud, I feel like I should have thought about something like that ages ago." Jaune patted him on the shoulder, able to relate in a way, and glad to see that he was actually being helpful.

"Well, while Ojiro thinks about that, let's move onto you Momo." Blake turned herself to face the Vice Rep, a look of curiosity in her eye. "To be honest, I'm surprised to hear you are having trouble with coming up with a weapon. After seeing you in action back in the forest, and in class, I would have thought you'd have a strong idea at least." Yaoyorozu put a hand to her cheek, as she looked to the side.

"I think the main problem is, the idea of carrying the weapon with me, regardless of what type." Jaune shared a confused glance with Blake, and then with Ojiro. "Because of how we conduct Quirk training, and simply how my Quirk works, I only carry the bare minimum of items on my person. I have my book so that I can quickly check on the specs of a particular item, I might need to make. Otherwise, I make only what I feel I need for the situation."

"...I get that for Quirk Training, you would do that so that you're not weighed down by excess items," Blake frowned as she considered the younger girls problem, "but I am a little confused as to why you wouldn't keep some items on hand for general purpose, more often."

"Right, yeah," Jaune held up a finger as he remembered, "like your shield, or you staff! Why not have those already close by, all the time? Wouldn't that save on... what was it? Lipids?" Yaoyorozu gave a nod, though she also looked confused herself.

"But, my Quirk is Creation," she said, "and Pro's are always having to utilise their Quirks in the field."

"Momo," Blake said gently, pulling up a seat and sitting across from her. "Maybe, that's how you feel you need to be back in Japan. But here, on Remnant, it's a lot smarter to actually have these things already to hand. Just like preserving Aura levels, you should save your lipids for when you need them, not simply because you feel that you are expected to."

"Also, while it is pretty freaking amazing that you can make a cannon of all things," Jaune said, "we're not expecting you to try and drag one of those around. Not to mention…"

"...It might make operating in Vale a little difficult with your current Hero costume." Blake stepped in, guessing Jaune's point, but also feeling he might put his foot in his mouth. Would not be the first time. While Yaoyorozu pondered what they said with a blush, Blake turned her head to the side, and hoped she was looking Hagakure in the face.

"That also goes for you too Toru."

"Huh?"

"Just because we can't see anything doesn't mean it's okay for you to walk around basically naked." Blake explained. Toru whined in response.

"I know! But I can't be the 'Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl' if I can be seen." Blake did feel sorry for Hagakure. She could only imagine what life was like when you were forever see-through. "I sent some skin samples and blood to the Support companies UA is contracted with, but they haven't yet found a way to make an outfit that can both go invisible when I need it to, and turn off when I want to be seen."

"...What about being naked as a last resort?" Everyone at the table gave Jaune an inquiring look of surprise and scepticism. Once again he looked flustered as he quickly tried to explain himself. "I-I mean! Ahem! I mean, I grew up with seven sisters. And I know from experience with my siblings, that they can hide pretty well when they want to, even in plain sight."

"I think I see what you're saying," Yaoyorozu slowly said, "while Hagakure's Quirk is amazing for stealth, that doesn't mean she cannot practice stealth techniques where she has more visible items on her as well."

"Exactly!" Jaune said, which had Blake turn back to Hagakure.

"I used to know someone... who was pretty good at blending in with her environment. But that wasn't her Semblance, she learnt how to actually use both the shadows, and also how to break line of sight in order to disappear when she wanted to." Blake wished she could actually see Hagakure's face to see how she was taking this. With only her casual pink hoodie, there was only so much to figure out how she was reacting. "And camouflage clothing is also a thing. If being a stealth hero is want you want to be, I can give you some pointers whilst we put together a new costume for you."

Hagakure was still for a second before leaping across the table to hug Blake, crying tears of happiness as she repeatedly thanked her. Blake almost toppled over backwards, and was caught off guard by Hagakure's action, before gently patting her back and head. Ojiro stood up from his place and came over, kneeling down to also calm the emotional girl as well.

Yaoyorozu meanwhile, glad that Hagakure was getting support and had a new avenue to pursue in order to improve, went back over the points that Blake and Jaune had brought up.

It was true, she had a lot of preconceived notions of how she was expected to act when she became a Pro. It could even be seen as wasteful, for the amount of times she made and remade the same quarterstaff, when a collapsible one could be ordered from the Support course, and kept behind her back. She also did want to re-evaluate her costume. She had ordered a cloak for winter, that would keep her creations largely hidden from view, whilst also helping to preserve her modesty, but would that be enough to not get in trouble for exposing herself here?

Then there was the actual problem of a Huntsman style weapon, that they were trying to figure out (although with what Blake and Jaune had said and suggested so far, perhaps it would be easier, now that they were also considering modifying their costumes as well). While she could use flare gun easily enough, and make a cannon for when the situation call for it, she didn't really think a gun truly suited her.

She had practised archery when she was younger, she remembered. She had been quite good at it, though she and her parents never really thought about how it might work for her as a Pro-hero. But it could work for her as a Huntress…

A few minutes ago, back at the start of the brainstorming session...

"I don't feel comfortable with this at all. Ribbit" Asui said this right at the beginning, as Pyrrha and Ruby had sat down with them. Her statement had her team-mates and new friends pay her particular attention. "I do understand being prepared to fight the Grimm again, just in case, but…"

"You're most concerned about having firearms at all." Uraraka finished gently, Asui ribbiting an affirmative. "I think we all get that. Except for maybe Bakugo, I can't really imagine any of us being eager to adopt guns. I know I'm more than a little nervous."

Yeah," Izuku agreed, looking down even as he gently placed an open notebook in front of him. Ruby looked around at them, with a concerned and curious expression.

"Um..." she fidgeted, poking her index fingers together as her social awkwardness asserted itself, "...it doesn't have to be a gun (even though that would be really cool)."

Pyrrha nodded, a soft smile on her face as she tried to ease the young teens concerns. "Remember what Professor Mulberry said. You just need to consider what works for you, that would be effective against the Grimm." Asui nodded, but still looked uncomfortable. Izuku and Uraraka briefly caught each others eye. Both thinking how similar Asui looked right now, to when she had emotionally talked to the 'Bakugo Rescue Squad' when they had moved into the dorms.

"It won't work!" Mineta's wail caught their attention briefly, but they refocused when they saw Iida and Sato reassuring the smaller boy. Ruby once again felt nervous and awkward, but spoke up again.

"I... I don't do well unarmed." That got everyone's attention, and she took a breath and continued. "I admired my Uncle and how well he wielded his weapon, that I focused on mastering that above a lot of other things. It's why I'm not always good at... talking to people. I've embarrassed myself more than a few times. At the party to celebrate Initiation, I spilled punch over Weiss's dress, and she was furious…"

'Maybe that's why she and Deku get along so well,' Uraraka mused. 'They could almost be mistaken for siblings, with how similar they can be with their passions, and how nervous they get at times'

"...I'm getting off track. The point I'm trying to say is, I'm great and super confident when I have Crescent Rose at hand, but when I don't have my baby, I struggle hard." Ruby looked at Asui, gently and with empathy. "Yang and Uncle Qrow have tried for a while to get me to improve with unarmed fighting, but I... even knowing that it makes sense, I resist it. That's something I want to work on moving forward, both for myself and my team. I think, it's the same thing for you... but reversed... maybe... Pyrrha help me, please!" Ruby seemed to struggle with what she was saying before turning to the red head who put a hand on her shoulder to help calm her.

"What Ruby is saying is," Pyrrha explained, "she can understand not being comfortable with a particular way of doing things, but it's important to realise if that is actually getting in your way to look after yourself and others."

Asui had a finger to her chin as she mulled over that. She didn't think Ruby truly understood, probably because she was so used to being around weapons like her scythe, and a culture where that was accepted, but she wasn't necessarily wrong either.

There was also the point that Pyrrha had reminded them, that what they came up with didn't necessarily have to incorporate firearms. But still…

"What about a diving knife?" She looked round at Tokoyami, the raven headed boy looking at her with consideration. The others followed her gaze, though the attention didn't rattle Jet black hero. "Scuba divers carry such things to assist with tasks like cutting tangled fishing nets, or if necessary, to defend against ocean predators that get especially aggressive."

"Oh yeah," Uraraka aid, dropping a fist into the palm of her other hand as she realised the logic of Tokoyami. "It's simple but practical, and wouldn't be too out of place." She turned with a smile to her friend who was honestly surprised at such a solution. "You did your internship with Selkie right? If you go back to an area with a lot of water, having a scuba knife would be a good option to have, right Tsu?"

"...I guess, ribbit." Asui looked a little happier, "I feel a little silly for not thinking of it myself, now that you mention it. Though I don't know how effective a scuba knife would be against the Grimm..." She mused, a frown once again on her face.

Pyrrha clapped her hands gently, "it's a start at the very least." she said, and Ruby nodded, deep in thought.

"Yeah, I'm sure we can make some rescue equipment fit for slaying Grimm…"

"What did you say Rose... I mean, Ruby?" Izuku turned his head so fast it actually made Ruby squeak in surprise. He had a look of someone on the verge of a revelation, and was frantic to reach it.

"... um I said, make some rescue equipment fit for slaying Grimm...?" Izuku slapped himself with both hands, the action making all four women at the table jump, and Tokoyami gasp in surprise.

"I'm an idiot!" he exclaimed. "The answer was right there all along. We don't have to make weapons to become Huntsmen or Huntresses! We just have to adapt equipment and tools that we already use for law enforcement and rescue, so that they're fit for fighting Grimm!"

"Um, Deku?" Uraraka nervously spoke up, "while it's good you're having this epiphany, could you maybe share what you mean with the rest of us?" Izuku jumped a little and stuttered an apology before gathering himself.

"What Ruby and Tokoyami got me to realise," he explained, "was that there's plenty of equipment that we have back home, that could easily be modified and used as a weapon in a pinch. Take fire axes for example; we have them so that people can break down doors and obstacles, in order to escape a fire, and likewise fire-fighters have them for the same purpose. But it would be easy, just to use it as a regular axe in combat against the Grimm, don't you think?" Uraraka caught on, and so did Ruby and Pyrrha by the looks of surprised joy on their faces.

"Deku, that's brilliant!" Uraraka praised, with Asui and Tokoyami quietly agreeing. "That might even work best for me, as I'm working toward being a Rescue Hero. I could break down barriers, and then float away the debris so it's no longer in the way!"

"And I can help make it collapsible, maybe even give it a mecha-shift function so it can be an emergency SMG!" Ruby exclaimed happily. Uraraka looked a little less comfortable at that, but was willing to work past it. "Also, maybe we can use Gravity Dust in some way to help you with manoeuvring in the air whilst using your Quirk on yourself!" That brought the pink cheeked girl back to surprised happiness, as that got her excited for the possibilities. Izuku nodded, as he had some notes on this very subject that could help, but he turned back to Asui.

"Tsu." She gave him her attention, her mood more positive than it had been at the start. "I've also had a thought, based off what Tokoyami said. What if we had something suited for underwater work, like breaking through rusted chains, or downed ship hulls. Something like that would be great for rescue work! What do you think?" Tokoyami nodded in agreement, having had a similar thought himself.

"Ribbit. You're right," Asui said, "and it would also be possible with Remnant's technology to have it function above water against the Grimm."

Ruby gasped loudly, and bounced in her seat. "Yang came up with something that might help! She came up with an early prototype version of Ember Celica, that was able to work underwater, but didn't really have any range on land though... but we could modify it!"

Asui felt tears in her eyes. She wouldn't judge her friends and classmates for having weapons, especially as they were on the Hero course, but she wasn't all that comfortable with guns. And yet, her friends had come up with a working solution. "...I could give it a try... at the very least... Ribbit, ribbit."

"Alright then!" Mulberry called out after a good hour and a half of discussion and quick rough sketches. "Hand in what you've decided to me, and we'll get you started on a lesson on basic gun safety. If you haven't finalised an idea yet, that's fine, we can work on that…"

"Are you sure Bakugo?" Kirishima quietly asked as everyone else stood up and moved to hand in their ideas. "Giving up one of your gauntlets..." Bakugo gave a huff of annoyed appreciation, stopping Kirishima from going any further.

"Of course I'm sure Shitty Hair. I won't be able to swing the damn weapon if I have both of them on, and I'm right handed. I'll still have the other, so I won't be without options." He then turned a very pointed stare at his friend. "If I'm unsure of anything... it's why you didn't take the chance to make your weapon a gun as well?! Xiao Long and Crazy Hammer said they could have made it into a double barrel shotgun, or even a grenade launcher! Why would you turn either of those down?"

Kirishima smiled self-deprecatingly. "I get that those were options, but I figured I'd stick with what All Might told me in regards to my Quirk." He clenched a fist, once again reminding himself of why he wanted to become a hero. "I don't need little tricks, I should plow straight forward like a bulldozer." He then turned an excited grin on Bakugo, "and I figure that you and the others will have my back. Let me be the front horse that can tank damage, while you guys unleash hell, right?" Bakugo grinned back at that, as he couldn't deny how much sense it made, as well as how bad-ass it would be.

Getting into line, Sero found himself being patted on the shoulder by Yang, and beside her Ren. "Just wanted to remind you," Yang said with a flirty smirk, "that if you want some tips on sharpshooting, just talk to Rubes, or Pyrrha."

"They would be the best in guiding you in that area," Ren agreed, "and you're welcome to join me for some meditation, to help practice controlling your breathing, if you'd like."

"Gee thanks you guys," Sero said, "I'll be sure to remember."

A heavy sigh behind him made him and the other two turn, curious as to the source. That being a depressed looking Kaminari.

"What the hell dude?" Sero remarked, "what's got you so down?"

"Don't mind Jamming-yayy," Jiro said with a teasing smirk, "he's just sulking because he's still not getting a lightning sword." She was right behind Kaminari, and her words only seemed to make the boy sink further into gloom.

"...Why can't he have a lightning sword?" Ren asked, confused. Yang shared a look with him and Sero, and shrugged, equally in the dark.

"...Professor Mulberry made some points about what it would actually mean to wield one." Kaminari said, finally raising his head. "Honestly... as cool as it would look, that's pretty much the only reason I wanted one, so I could look like a bad-ass action hero." He sighed again, before continuing. "Honestly though, I don't want to get close to the Grimm, or Villains unless there's no other choice. The further away they are from me, the better."

"The Professor suggested to him some modifications to the discs from his Pointer Shooter, adding in some Dust for added elemental damage beyond electricity." Jiro explained. "And hey, cheer up! You got that idea from Shoji and Koda for a Stun baton/whip right? You can still look cool with that." The rare encouragement from Jiro, surprised Kaminari enough to perk him up a little, which only increased, as he saw everyone paying attention to their talk nodding their heads.

"Well, I guess it wouldn't be too bad then," Kaminari said, looking up at the ceiling as he thought about it more. 'I just hope I don't actually take my eye out, or something, in training how to use it…'

Iida pulled Todoroki back away from the others a moment, so that they could speak quickly and privately. Ahead of them, Mineta was feeling pleased with the arm mounted weapon he'd decided on, and was telling an excited Midoriya about it, while Uraraka was promising Ruby that she'd show her the 'Gunhead Martial Arts' to assist the young Huntress in unarmed combat.

"Todoroki, I have to ask... are you sure about this?" Iida's voice was low, and his eyes were concerned, but if his friend and team-mate said it was okay, then he would support him.

Todoroki, glanced at the weapons he had chosen to ask for. Weapons, he had taken inspiration from Weiss and Blake, in design. He looked at the names he had attached to them. 'New Resolve' and 'Cold Conviction.' His thought strayed to when he had nearly lost his arm in Hosu, and they also went elsewhere…

'Shoto, it's okay for you to use your power.'

"...Weapons are like Quirks, neither good nor evil in or of themselves. What matters, is how we use them," he finally said, finally looking back at his friend. "I have some base training in the use of these, even if it was intended for focusing the mind rather than actual combat. That is something I can work with, so it's fine." Iida held his gaze for a moment before giving a nod, accepting the decision. He gave a small smile, and with that the two moved to join their friends, and handing off their designs.

Beacon Academy, Food Hall, Lunch Time.

After the intense morning in the workshops and firing ranges, everyone was back at the tables they'd started at. There was plenty of chatter and excitement, as 1-A talked to each other about each team's choices, but Ruby wanted to hear from her team and JNPR, if they'd had new ideas.

"Soo," Ruby started, "outside of all the help we gave, have we figured out anything for ourselves?"

"There's an idea I have for making Crocea Mors into a claymore, maybe by combining the sword and shield in a new way... but I'm definitely going to need help with that." Jaune said, not yet eating his chicken and rice. "Not much else, ideas wise at the moment, though honestly... I'm just glad what I said back there, helped any of them at all."

"You did come up with some good points, and observations," Blake said after swallowing a bite of her Tuna sandwich. "Simplicity can often be overlooked and ignored." Jaune tilted his head in her direction, grateful for the compliment.

"That did seem to be something of a recurring problem," Ren said thoughtfully. "Beyond a reluctance to accept guns for various reasons, there were quite a few who got stuck in their planning, simply because they're so used to working how they did back at UA. It made the problem more complicated than it needed to be."

"I still think Kirishima should've submitted the idea for an Kanabo Grenade Launcher!" Nora petulantly growled beside him. "We could've made it work…"

"I briefly spoke to Midoriya, when Ruby brought me over to discuss Tsu's weapons," Yang spoke up. "Opponents who specialise in kicks are kind of a weakness of mine, so I was hoping to get an idea or two from talking to him, since he that's how he tends to fight. We'll see about getting a sparring match in, and maybe get a closer look at those 'Iron Soles' of his."

"Branching out your fighting style?" Weiss mused, and Yang nodded, before going back to eating.

"Honestly... I found it all quite fun." Pyrrha said, getting gentle curiosity from the table. "I haven't really had much opportunity to participate in activities like that, even when I was younger." She looked across at 1-A's table, where there was an excited buzz, as people talked about their ideas, and what it would mean to the future when they got back. She smiled, genuine and warm.

Ruby matched it, already feeling that, even if it was just small steps, they were improving, and helping their friends. She turned to look at her partner, and was a little surprised to see a frown on the heiress' face.

Weiss was looking at Pyrrha, and would also turn her head to look at 1-A.

"Weiss?" Ruby put a hand on her partner's shoulder, and it seemed to shake her out of her thoughts. She looked at Ruby, mildly annoyed. "You okay bestie? You were kind of staring off into space."

"Did Todoroki not pay you attention when you went over?" Nora asked with a sly grin, but Weiss didn't rise to the bait.

"I'm fine, Ruby. Just... I can't really see anything, just yet, amongst 1-A that has me inspired on how to improve. That's all. And Todoroki," she finally turned to Nora, "was a gentleman. Very focused, if a little too literal at times."

"So, do we now have a prince to thaw out the Ice Queen?" Yang teased. Weiss gave her a tired huff of annoyance and ignored her.

"Let's finish our lunch, and get back to training, shall we?" she said with finality, ending the conversation. Ruby exchanged a few glances with the others, but everyone acquiesced.

In Weiss's mind... 'Is there actually, anything, that can help me improve? I can't see any further refinements to Myternaster, and I'm... unsure myself of getting an additional weapon. The only things I can think of that will keep me ahead, are skill and technique. Maybe that... along with more experience is all I need to be the best...' These thoughts would stay with her, long past lunch time.

Vale General Hospital

"Didn't think I'd be back here again so soon." All Might mused to himself, even as he walked towards the entrance, Aizawa, Ozpin and Goodwitch beside him.

"I know what you mean, but let's be thankful for the fact that it's not because either of us, or the students, are hurt," Aizawa said. He and All Might were dressed in smart black suits, though All Might had a red tie, while Aizawa favoured a grey. He also had his hair tied back, which made him look more respectable, an effort he made specially for today, given where they had come from. "I'm also just glad that the meeting didn't go on more than necessary."

Ozpin smiled, turning his head in Aizawa's direction. "That was, admittedly, one of the more smoothly running meetings I've attended. It also means we can get 1-A out of Beacon, both for organised patrols, and just to explore around Vale now."

Aizawa made a noise of agreement, as he looked at his scroll, a vibration alerting him to incoming messages. He correctly assumed that it would be Mulberry. Ozpin and Goodwitch had introduced him to the entire faculty, and it was only rational to get their contact information.

He found the staff at Beacon a mixed bag, but then, he reasoned, so had UA when he had first started there as a teacher. He found himself agreeing with All Might that Port was overly long winded with seemingly endless stories, but certainly skilled when it counted against the Grimm. Dr. Oobleck was a little much to keep up with, even when Shota had finished drinking his own cup of coffee in the morning, but the man's knowledge was extensive, and was observant, despite the speed of which he zipped around the room and talked at. Thumbelina Peach, was gentle and friendly, and well versed in her botanist profession. Ann Greene, a Hawk Faunus, who taught stealth and security, was someone he already found he could get a long with pretty well, and was already planning how to do some joint training with her.

And then there was Mulberry. Another individual who he appreciated and respected, if only for the fact he tended to try and cut to the chase, rather than prattle on. He was also someone who was proud of his subject, and took it seriously. It was partly because he approved of Mulberry and his approach, and that he had allowed the students to explore the possibility of getting Huntsmen level support gear.

'Ah, he's sent over copies of their ideas...' Shota pulled up the attached files, and gave the rough drawings and notes a look over. He then released a weary sigh.

"Bad news?" All Might asked, as they entered the lobby, and stopped. Aizawa wished he had his capture cloth to hide his face in, but that had been left behind at Beacon.

"...Not entirely. Bakugo, apparently wants an Autocannon/War-Hammer," All Might began to sweat just picturing it, "though I have to admit, I was more worried he would try for a bazooka. There are more reasonable suggestions; Iida wants a collapsible shield and a pistol that can also fire flare rounds to call for aid. Koda seems to have gone for items good for maybe digging out civilians trapped by rubble, perhaps. He's asking for an E-Tool that can work as a shield, and a simple Pick Axe for a weapon."

"Koda was one of the students badly hurt by the Grimm, back in the Forever Fall," Goodwitch remembered, her voice suggesting sympathy. "Having weapons that are more defensive, is not that surprising. He doesn't strike me as the type to get violent easily." She then looked about, before checking her watch. "He's running late... unless he went ahead to see Gale first, perhaps?" She turned to Ozpin, who cleaned his spectacles, unconcerned.

"He said he'll meet us here, and I'm not that worried for being a few minutes late. He's had a lot to settle, before coming out here, after all."

"You mean your choice for young Gale's legal guardian?" All Might asked, as Ozpin replaced the now clean glasses, back on his face.

"Indeed."

"What can you tell us about this person, before we meet them?" Ozpin turned about, and placed both hands on his cane in front of him.

"The man we chose for this, is one who already knows what it's like to look after young girls, as he has two daughters himself. He has, admittedly struggled after the passing of his wife, but it was the strength of his family that held him together. He has been away from Huntsmen work for more than a few years now, but he has been a teacher at Signal Academy."

"And he's okay with looking after Gale, out of the blue?" Aizawa asked, putting the scroll, away, his cursory inspection already highlighting in his mind which students may need further guidance in utilising their suggested equipment.

"He was indeed surprised, and organising his leave of absence from Signal took some work, but he did willingly agree to help. Especially when I brought up that General Ironwood was coming down." Ozpin replied.

"A General?" Aizawa frowned, and All Might coughed a little, some blood leaving his mouth, though he caught it with a handkerchief.

"James Ironwood," Goodwitch explained, "is both a General of the Atlesian military, but also the Headmaster of Atlas Academy."

"And Atlas," Ozpin continued, "is the most technologically advanced Kingdom on Remnant. James apparently was already planning on coming down with a security detail for the Vytal Festival, but after your arrival, I reached out to him for assistance, and he agreed. He'll be here within a few weeks."

"You think the tech of Atlas will help us get back home?" All Might asked. Ozpin shook his head.

"I don't know Yagi. What I do know, is that, Vale doesn't have the resources to properly analyse the area you arrived in, or the remains of your bus for clues. Atlas possibly can. But if they come to the same conclusion that Aizawa did…"

"That Gale may have been the one to bring us here..." Aizawa felt he was catching on to what Ozpin was saying. "You'd rather she was with someone you trusted, to put her needs first, rather than possibly taken to a lab."

"General Ironwood, is a good man who takes great pride in his kingdom, and it's military." Ozpin said lowly and carefully. "But that sometimes means that he can be... blunt and pragmatic, set in believing that only his way will work."

Aizawa nodded, understanding, but already feeling anxious at the political intrigue of Remnant. While having the people with the best tech available, come to help would make sense, he felt very protective of Gale, despite barely knowing her. He was briefly reminded of the girl, Eri, as he did so. 'She was supposed to come live on UA grounds, so that I could keep an eye on her and help with her Quirk training.' He closed his eyes for a moment, hoping that the school in their absence, would still look after her.

Ruff!

He opened his eyes and looked behind him and down. A grey corgi was standing on it's hind legs, it's fore legs resting on All Might's. It looked up at the former number one with a dopey look, it's tongue rolling out, before giving another short bark.

"Oh, hello there!" All Might said turning around, and the dog went back to all fours, it's tail wagging happily. "Where did you come from?" All Might said, smiling even as he bent down and petted the animal who seemed to enjoy the attention. Ozpin smiled, and even Goodwitch seemed pleased.

"He's here." She said, and Aizawa realised suddenly, who the dogs owner was.

"Zwei!" A voiced called out. A blonde short haired man, in a rugged yellow and brown outfit, and no sleeves walked in. At his call, 'Zwei' abandoned All Might and ran back to his master. "Sorry about that, but if he likes you, then you must be okay. Zwei's a good judge of character."

"Is that so? I'm glad to hear it." All Might said standing up fully. The Huntsman they'd all come to meet, walked up and put his hand forward, and All Might happily took it with his own and shook in greeting.

"You must be the Heroes form the other reality. Oz gave me some of the details. It's nice to meet you." The man smiled, "the name's Taiyang Xiao Long."

[Cue Outro]

1st Outro for Season 1 – Part 5: Pyrrha

[A Young Pyrrha stands with her back to the 'camera' as she fights her first tournament.]

[Slightly older, she trains with her weapons, but is alone in a yard. Any other trainee is in the background, either preoccupied with their own training, or watching her.]

[After winning another victory, she poses for photos that will put her on the front of Pumpkin Pete's cereal. Her smile is practised, but fake.]

[She sees herself alone under a spotlight, dressed in her Huntress gear, with everyone else around her mere dark silhouettes with the impression of smiling faces. Regardless of her successes, she feels completely alone. Her smile remains, but a tear falls down her cheek.]

[Pyrrha walks through darkness. She raises her head when there's a small ray of light in her path. Jaune waves at her from the light, beside him are Ren and Nora. Ruby, Midoriya, Iida, Hagakure, and Yaoyorozu also wave. They see her for her.]

[A true, honest smile finally shows, and she strolls proudly up to meet her friends, as the darkness disappear to reveal blue skies and rolling green hills.]

Beacon Dorms, Late Evening, Team MOAT's room

"Well, I think today was productive." Izuku said into his scroll, once again set to record. He briefly turned to his team who were in the room with him. "Would you all agree?"

"Yes," Tokoyami said, completely relaxed as he leaned against a wall, "I'd say that things have worked out pretty well in coming up with new gear."

"We can't get ahead of ourselves yet though," Asui put in, though she seemed pretty content as she and Uraraka sat next to each other on her bed with mugs of hot chocolate. She put a finger to her chin as she continued. "We still need to actually have the gear made, and then learn how to use it."

"That's true," Uraraka said cheerily, "but still pretty exciting. I'm really looking forward to seeing if they can actually make what Deku came up with for me to help with my mobility."

Izuku nodded, and turned back to the camera. "Yeah, overall, I think what we've come up with is going to work out. Mr Aizawa came by earlier to check on us, and gave his critique of our choices, but he didn't turn any of them down, so that's good."

Somewhere in Vale...

Torchwick and Neopolitan stood waiting as a door opened in the warehouse, and masked figures started walking in.

[Izuku: "Let's just hope…"]

In the midst of these figures, one stands out. Dressed in black with a white Grimm mask obscuring the top half of his face, leaving only his mouth exposed. He had red hair, and a pair of short horns, and he carried a sword in a black sheathe by his side.

[Izuku: "...We won't need to use them any-time soon."]

"Took you long enough," Roman said with an air of impatience. "Now then, shall we get started?"

Adam Taurus, gave a small, silent snarl, but otherwise, nodded his head to continue.

Next Time on Paragons of Virtue and Glory:

[Ashido: I'm so psyched I get to do the preview! Aren't you Blake?]

[Blake: Actually... I have concerns.]

[Ashido: About what?]

[Blake: Well the next Episode focuses on the Faunus, and how even in Vale, one of the best places on Remnant for equitable treatment, there's still casual discrimination on occasion.]

[Ashido: And Bakugo isn't the type to be really that sensitive normally, especially with his nicknames... Ooh boy. I hope he doesn't do too much damage with his mouth that it can't be fixed.]

[Blake: Let's hope the teachers and Pro Huntsmen can guide him right.]

[Ashido: Next time; "Faunus".]

[Blake: On the plus side, we'll have Gale coming to Beacon.]

[Ashido: Oh yes! More of that cutie, yes please! Go Beyond!]

[Ashido & Blake: Plus Ultra!]

NOTES:

A lot of stuff I do, in regards to the story, is based off how I honestly think characters would act in the situation. Aizawa, letting his students pack heat? Normally, not a chance in nine internet hells. But here, once again, he is confronted with the reminder that he is not on Earth, and that while keeping everyone away from the Grimm would be ideal, better that they are prepared in-case they do. But of course, they won't just let the students have a gun and run off with it either.

I also didn't believe that everyone of 1-A would be onboard with having guns as well, but they do have to adapt. Their usual way of doing things, isn't ineffective, but it doesn't entirely work within the world of Remnant as well as it would back in Pro-Hero society Japan. I was reminded of a line as I was writing this; "true innovators are those not tied down by convention." Everyone has to make some adjustments to how they work, re-evaluating their preconceptions, and that also includes our Beacon gang, though some may struggle to realise it…

I hope I struck a good balance between reveals of weapons, and teases. I almost included a Mei Hatsume inspired run down of each weapon, but found that it disrupted the story too much. In addition, I hope people like my idea of Harold Mulberry. He's only mentioned once in the story "After the Fall" along with Ann Greene. We don't get much more than his name and the class he teaches, or even if he survived in canon. I thought that if we were going to do 1-A thinking up gear and weapons, it would make sense to have the actual Huntsman responsible for that class to show up.

Mineta, was one of the characters I had some difficulty with (and not just in regards to his weapon). The Grapeshot, a grenade launcher that could be modified to fire his pop off balls, sounds pretty perfect, but then I remembered that Mineta can't play guitar because he's so short in stature and arm length, so how would he be able to carry around such a weapon? It feels appropriate to mention it as part of the idea process at least.

Speaking of Mineta, I figured that here was a good point to quickly address his behaviour. While by this point in MHA canon he has improved a lot (the timeline is this happens in November, before Eri comes to live at UA, and before the Billboard chart reveals) he still has moments where he goes too far with his perversion. While there maybe some rules he is still managing to keep to (somehow) in Japan, with Beacon being more western based, they would not, and will not stand for what amounts to sexual harassment. While Teams RWBY and JNPR make preparations just in case, while hoping that they won't need them, I figured that 1-A would absolutely step in if they were forewarned of some scheme, and attempt to resolve it. Really hammer home, that if he doesn't get himself under control, he risks alienating both their allies at Beacon, his own classmates, and if pressed, Aizawa would likely expel him, if he felt that it was serious enough/ one too many instances of it happening. Expect Mineta to work hard on self control, with his team keeping an eye on him.

I tried to put some more emphasis on Ruby and the gang this Episode, as someone pointed out that it feels like I favour MHA. The way Season 1 is planned out, and the set up itself, does put a lot of focus on 1-A, as they navigate a new world, with new rules. But I did say that Ruby and the others were still relevant, and I mean to keep that. This is their world after all. Hopefully this is will start to get more balance, as Ruby and Jaune acknowledge that as much as they will continue to help Midoriya and co, they want to get better too, and hopefully get some inspiration on how to do that, whether through joint training, or coming up with new gear themselves.

Next story arc is "Black & White". We are steadily moving toward a confrontation with Roman Torchwick and his new partners, the White Fang. And that will bring some focus on Blake and Weiss as well. Viewpoints will be challenged, bonds will be tested. And the next big battle is coming…

As always, feel free to leave a review, and speculate, but no suggestions for what goes on in the story please. Keep an eye on my Profile, as I will usually post updates as to how the next chapter is coming, and when to expect it. Possibly might start a poll in the future there too.

Untl nxt Tme.
