I won't hold you guys for long, enjoy the story!

Heaven's Shadow Part Six: Recuperation

(A Devil's Justice)

"Ragna?!" Ghia'ta called out, flying towards the destroyed restaurant with the others in tow, Donna running after them with her blade and shield.

"The manthing is not here?! Nor is my sister!" Donna called out, searching for Diana.

"Something isn't right here, I sense…Holy Magic." Tala muttered, using her own magic to sense the area around them.

"Where is Ragna?" Jennifer asked, sensing Ragna's dark energy was very far away, nearly out of Redgrave City.

"Who the fuck did all this?" Crush asked, gesturing to the craters and destroyed buildings. Ghia'ta scanned the streets….until he eyes landed on four figures making their way towards them, one of them dragging something on the ground. Once they were close enough Ghia'ta realized it was not Ragna, but a figure in white cloaks with crosses and…..winged knights? Her eyes widened when she got a good look of who was being dragged by the white cloaked figure.

"DIANA!" The Star Sapphire called out, seeing the Amazon remaining motionless in the figure's grip.

"You mongols! Get away from my sister!" Donna roared, swinging her blade at them, only to be blocked by a winged knight's shield and knocked away by another's lance.

"Who are these earthlings?!" Blackfire stated, holding her energy fists up. Ghia'tas' eyes narrowed at the group as the white cloak figure dropped Diana. She may not be completely knowledgeable on organizations of this world, but she only knew one faction that recently tried to kill her boyfriend.

"Paladins." Ghia'ta stated, holding her ring up.

"They do seem to wear the same Cross pattern's Ragna described of those Paladins." Aya stated, holding up her hands with energy radiating from them.

"Correct, alien." Lero stated, dropping Diana and placing a boot on her head.

"What do you want with Friend Diana?!" Starfire called out, glaring at the figure.

"This Pagan Idolizer is just one of many, in fact, I am to require you as well." Lero stated, gesturing to the group.

"Not gonna happen Earthling!" Blackfire called out.

"Get my sister away from them!" Donna ordered, turning to the group.

"Mmmm, but she does look good on the ground." Tala mused.

"TALA!"

"Ugh, fine." Tala groaned, rolling her eyes and holding both her hands up.

"Temeprate!" Tala enchanted, and before Lero's own eyes Diana disappeared in a black flash of energy.

"What did you do?!" Donna called out.

"I teleported her, where? Who knows, maybe a dumpster to clear her up."

"WHY YO-!"

"Enough!" Lero commanded, summoning his golden bow, and with one pull of his string he fired an arrow into the sky.

"I grow tired of this bickering, and have wasted enough time. Now it is time to repent, Sinners." Lero stated, gesturing to the group.

"Repent this, Father Dick-for-brains!" Crush retorted, flipping him off.

"...Forgive me Father, for I am going to enjoy this more than I should." Lero growled as he lifted his right hand and snapped his fingers. Ghia'ta instantly went on high alert, before a blinding light covered the sky. The girls covered their eyes for a second, looking through the cracks, eyes widened in horror as a golden sphere appeared above them. From the light, arrows made of pure energy shot out, burning brighter and brighter.

BA-BOOM

(A Devil's Justice)

Rain poured down across the city, clouds covering the night sky, as the hero of Redgrave City kneeled on all four, his knuckle bloody from smashing the cracked road all around him. Ragna could do nothing but stare at his own reflection, water dripping down his hair, unsure if it was his own tears or just rain. He…he just watched his girlfriend and the others be captured by that man wrapped in white cloak, of what he could only assume was a Paladin.

They…..They were taken…..because….

"Oh my, what a dreadful sight."

Because….of…..HER.

"What was that whole fuss about?" Bayonetta asked, standing in front of Ragna with a confused glance.

"YOU!" Ragna roared as he blasted off the ground and flung his fist towards the witch, Bayonetta twisted her body to the side as Ragna flew right past her.

"Up for another round? I'm always game!" Bayonetta challenged, pulling both pistols. Her eyes beamed with excitement as a dark aura surrounded Ragna, a malicious power that screamed rage. Ragna's eyes twisted from sapphire blue to crimson red, sneering and glaring at the Umbran Witch.

"You! You planned this! You're working with the Paladins!" Ragna roared, reaching out with his right arm. Morningstar shot off the ground, narrowly slicing Bayonetta in two as it flew right in Ragna's hand, the mere swing of the blade cleaved the landscape around him.

"Paladins? Little Devil, what on earth are you talking about?" Bayonetta asked, seeing Ragna's body begin taking a more ghastly form. His skin slowly became ghost white, sharpened talons, his crimson eyes slowly being consumed by a black void as a horn shot out of the right side of his head.

"Ragna?" And just like that, whatever metamorphosis he was undergoing, was quickly shattered once he heard her voice. His features returned to normal as Ragna turned his head to see Diana slowly walking towards him, her body covered in bruises and dirt from whatever the Paladins had done to her.

"DIANA!" Ragna quickly sheathed his blade and ran over to the Amazon, completely ignoring Bayonetta as the Amazon collapsed into his arms. Ragna began checking Diana for any injuries, but saw none fearing it might be internal injuries, he knew he had to get her medical treatment again.

"Hang on, Diana!" With that, Ragna quickly picked the Amazon in his arms and blasted into the sky, heading straight towards his apartment.

"...Well that's just rude, leaving a woman alone in the rain without an umbrella, what a sneaky little Devil." Bayonetta mused as she holstered her guns and began walking in his direction. However, her boot hit something, looking at the ground she noticed a strange device in the same crater the hybrid made. Picking it up she noticed the letter L on it, wondering if it belonged to him, noticing some remnant of his energy resonating off it. With a shrug of her shoulder, Bayonetta put it away and began walking again. She didn't know what he was referring to about some Paladins, but clearly something bigger was going on, and she was gonna get to the bottom of it.

(A Devil's Justice)

"Lero! I ordered you to retrieve the Son of Sparda and Wonder Woman at their weakest! That was the point of the Angelos!" The voice echoed in their ears, each hero and heroine groaning as they slowly opened their eyes, finding themselves in nothing but metal.

"I apologize, Milady, but things took a turn when….." Whatever Lero said was silenced as the group woke up.

"What the hell?!" Crush exclaimed, smashing her fist against the glass of whatever metal box she was in.

"Crush?" Ghia'ta called out.

"Ghia'ta?" Superman asked, recognizing that voice, only to groan in pain as a powerful radiation rock washed over him.

"Release me, MANTHINGS!" Donna roared from her cage.

"What she said EARTHLINGS!" Blackfire added, banging her cage.

"Sister?!" Starfire called out from her own cage.

"Oh by Eight Hell's what is this?!" Tala muttered as she looked around.

"Well hello Ladies." Flash commented, smirking from his side of whatever containment he was in, earning a groan from Green Lantern.

"Really? Now?" Hawkgirl asked, glaring from her Iron Maiden Cross.

"Where…..Where are we?" Ghia'ta finally asked, getting the entire group to quiet down and get a good look of…..wherever they were. The room itself had several large monitors displaying locations none of them recognized, with consoles spread out beneath the monitors. What really caught their attention were the three white cloaked individuals, the League recognizing the woman and behemoth but not the man, and vice versa for the girls.

"Ah…..good, you're awake. How fortunate for us, I would be disappointed if we would make him repent without an audience." Sofia said, clasping her hands together as Aris grunted, holding his Beloved in his hand as if she was on a throne. It hadn't been that long since they had brought the League and prisoners, half an hour or so, to their base. However, color Sofia red with anger when she learns that Lero failed to capture both the Son of Sparda and Wonder Woman, the main target of their priorities not no doubt out of their reach.

"Him?" Hawkgirl asked in confusion, wondering where the hell her mace was, and how do they get out so she can cave that behemoth's head in.

"She means Sparda." Batman stated, being the first one to wake up and see their surroundings.

"Correct, Knight of Gotham, and I am sure you already know who we are." Sofia stated, glaring at the bat themed hero.

"You know them, Bats?" Flash asked, looking from his iron maiden prison.

"You are the Paladins, the same ones who tried to kill Sparda and Batgirl back in Redgrave."

"Paladins? Like those cool old knights with red crosses on their chests?" Flash asked.

"Indeed, Sinners, one in the same." Lero stated with crossed arms. They were the Warriors and the Servants of the Lord, watching over the world from the shadows. For the longest time they had not been seen…not until Magnus' fear of the Son of Sparda's power grew too much, and he revealed themselves to the hybrid. Now an entire faction worth of angelic power was taken in a single night.

"So we're all just bait?" Crush asked, scratching her ear

"It would make the most logical sense, using us to lure Ragna into their base would be a simple but deadly trap." Aya stated factually with a finger raised high.

"How about we don't talk about our secret identities!" John warned, rolling his eyes with a groan.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that…Mr. Stewart." Sofia chuckled enjoying the Lantern's shocked expression.

"Oh yes we know many things about all of you." Sofia stated walking up to the group of caged heroes.

"From the Forensic Scientist." The Speedster's eyes widened in shock.

"To the alien farm child from Kansas." Superman continued to groan in pain, but his eyes widened from the words.

"...To the richest in Gotham." Sofia whispered, glaring into Batman's, who simply glared in return making no motion of his surprise or lack thereof. With that Sofia made her way back towards Aris and Lero, only to be stopped when Ghia'ta spoke up.

"He'll stop you." The three Paladins slowly turned to Ghia'ta, the alien sapphire releasing an intense glare.

"Ragna…Ragna and Diana will find you somehow, no matter where you hide…..and he'll stop you!" Ghia'ta declared defiantly. She knew Ragna will come and face the Paladins, even if they knew his weakness, she knew that would not stop him.

"Yes! Beloved isn't scared of the likes of you fanatics!" Tala joined in, smirking at the three.

"...My….My…what sweet devotion to a bastard child." Lero gagged as Aris grunted, balling his large fists in anger.

"Mmm, yes…well not to worry alien, he won't be looking for long." Sofia stated, confusing the group as she made her way towards a table. The lights flickered on and spread across the table were several items from rings, to weapons, and Batman's belt.

"What do you mean?" Jennifer asked.

"You see, you were never meant to be baited, you were all meant to be the first of our Holy Crusade. If we kill the world's strongest heroes, who could stop us? The truth threat lies within the Son of Sparda, his hellish powers being the polar opposite of our Divinity." Sofia explained, searching through the equipment but keeping her distance from the belt lest she gets shocked again.

"But with the interference of a new problem, changes are being made." Lero added as Sofia let out a soft 'ah' and picked something up.

"Yes, and it all begins with this." Sofia stated, holding up the Justice League Communicator, several of the heroes narrowed their eyes as Sofia walked towards them.

"I believe this is your team's communication device? I think you're smart enough to figure out what I want." Sofia stated, holding it out to the group to make her point.

"Yeah, and I'd rather die than bring our teammate into a trap!" Hawkgirl growled, the others voicing their agreement save for Batman who remained silent. Sofia pouted and tapped her chin, shaking her head in disappointment.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Such a shame then, you'd risk the lives of your Superman and Martians for the bastard child? How 'heroic'." Sofia sighed.

"What the hell are you talking about?" John asked glaring at the Nun.

"Oh? You haven't noticed the Martian or Superman speak? Well it is hard for them with what we installed in their Iron Maidens." Sofia said, tapping on Superman's.

"These Maidens were specifically designed to contain you lot, and with the Man of Steel it was simply leaving him alone with Kryptonite." Sofia stated.

"Oh you absolute bit-GAH!" Hawkgirl screamed in pain as her maiden began producing electricity, shocking and sending volts through her body, knocking her out.

"Like I said: Every. Single. One." Sofia emphasized as all the Maidens began shooting volts and shaking violently.

"And with the Martian…well, let's turn up the heat." With that, Sofia tapped on her wrist, and to everyone's shock the last Iron Maiden burst into flames, and all they could hear were J'onns' screams on the inside.

"Stop it!" Crush screamed as her own began shrinking, the alien punk pushing against the metal box.

"It all will…..if you do what I say." Sofia offered, holding out the communicator.

"FINE! Alright I'LL do it!" John called out, a smule forming under Sofia's mask as she tapped her wrist. The Iron Maidens deactivated as Sofia walked up to John's and tapped the front, the cage opening up for the lantern.

"Do whatever you can to get him here, an SOS if you have one would be preferred….no funny business though….. Or else." Sofia warned, gesturing to Lero who had an arrow aimed at the soldier. John glared at the group before grunting in annoyance, typing on the communicator for a few seconds. Finally, the small device came to life as it began beeping red, the Nun swiftly pulling it out of John's hands and pushing him back into the Maiden.

"Great, we did what you wanted, now stop torturing our friend!" Flash called out, slamming his fist against his Iron maiden.

"Torture? Such a barbaric term. What we're doing to you is…..Repentance." Sofia corrected, tossing the device to the table, slowly turning to the League and girls.

"In fact, this is what it's all about." Sofia said, holding up her wrist, tapping down on it. Suddenly the entire room was filled with painful screams of agony and torture. Lero and Aris watched from the side, arms crossed as Sofia looked on, slowly reaching into her dress and pulled out a golden cross.

"Now….Repent."

(A Devil's Justice)

"Diana? Diana?" The Amazon heard a voice call out to her, slowly pulling her back from her dream. She dreamt of Themyscira, of her sisters, of her Mother Hippolyta. She dreamt of being forgiven, of being welcomed back into her home…..but all dreams come to an end. She slowly woke up to find herself staring up at Ragna's ceiling, feeling a warm blanket over her body. She turned over to see the hybrid, body completely healed from whatever he was fighting, a small smile on his lips.

"Oh thank god you're okay. Those healing crystals do wonder." Ragna remarked, reaching up and cleaning the black smudge on the Amazon's cheek. She remembered what had happened: Her 'date' with Ragna, the sneak attack from that cloaked figure, and that blinding light.

"How….How long have I been out?" Diana asked, looking around the room.

"About thirty minutes give or take. You didn't have any internal bleeding, but whatever they hit you with, still packed a punch." Ragna commented, pulling the blanket off the Princess, Diana slowly realizing they were alone.

"Ragna, where are the others?" Diana asked, turning to face the hybrid. She figured they must've gone and visited Aunt Leslie…however, seeing Ragna's face told a different story. His more positive demeanor turned sour, his eyes said all: Loss, Pain, Failure. Diana watched as Ragna leaned back against the couch, clutching his knees.

"Diana…..I…I….They took them!" Ragna muttered through clenched teeth. Diana's eyes widened in shock and horror, understanding that the white cloaked figure and those winged knights had taken the girls. How that came to be she did not know, but perhaps it might explain why she wasn't captured. But now it was hitting her, the girls were taken by the Paladins, and they had no idea where they were. There had to be a way, and if so, Diana knew they would need backup if even one was a threat to herself.

"Ragna….." Diana reached, holding the hybrid's shoulder and pulling the blankets off herself. Ragna looked up at Diana, the Amazon giving him a stoic but hopeful expression, neither saying a word. Taking a deep breath, Ragna simply buried it deep down, and stood up with a determined expression.

"Right. We'll save them." Ragna declared as Diana stood beside him, both looking heroic.

"...Now we just need to know where they are." Ragna muttered, rubbing the back of his head.

"And we can't do this alone." Diana added.

"Right. Last time I dealt with the Paladins, I had Mrs. Kent and Batgi….Right! Batman! The League! Let's contact the others!" Ragna suggested, snapping his fingers at the Amazon.

"The League Communicator!"

"Yes…..Where did I put it?" Ragna asked out loud, searching his pockets. After a few moments he let out a loud groan.

"Crap! Crapbaskets I must've dropped it!" Ragna groaned in annoyance, looking up at Diana.

"You?" Diana searched her suit, and from wherever she kept her equipment, Ragna's sudden joy in seeing the communicator turned into dread when he saw it was destroyed.

"Dammit, this must be the work of Dolo, damn you God of Trickery!" Diana cursed out, glaring up to the heavens as Ragna sweatdropped in confusion. Now neither had a communicator, and still no way of locating the girls.

"Maybe if I yell out Superman's name he'll come."

"That might be weird for your neighbors." Diana warned, Ragna nodding his head in agreement.

BANG BANG

Both turned to the front door of the apartment, seeing the door lightly shake with each knock, not a sound from the otherside. Both stood where they were, unsure what to do and wondering who at this time was knocking at their door. Ragna didn't recognize the smell so it wasn't his Aunt Leslie or even Blood. Not seeing in waiting any longer as the knocking continued, Diana slowly walked up the door, opening it up to be met with a strange sight before her.

"Oh! Well this is new." Bayonetta commented, eyeing the Amazon up and down, the two eye to eye.

"I don't usually meet others my height so this is fun….and might I just say, those colors fit you." Bayonetta mused as she pushed her hip out.

"Um…."

"YOU!" To Diana's surprise Ragna appeared in front of her, Hyde aimed at Bayonetta's head, the Umbran witch smiling down at the Son of Sparda.

"How did you find my apartment?!" Ragna whispered, glaring up at the witch. Bayonetta reached into the opening of her bosom, both watching as she pulled out Ragna's League Communicator.

"H-How did yo-!"

"You dropped it, and I'm here to give it back." Bayonetta said, holding it out for Ragna. The hybrid eyed the witch skeptically, hesitantly reaching out for the device, right before Bayonetta flicked it into the air.

"But first, I have questions, and I want answers." Bayonetta said, catching the device with her index finger.

"Answers?! You want answers! I want answers! Like why would you work with the Paladins to take me o-!" Ragna was silenced as Bayonetta cut him off with a finger, leaning down inches to his face.

"Let's use our inside voices, Little Devil, wouldn't want to gather any unwanted attention." Bayonetta said, leaning away and pulling her finger away.

"It seems we've got off the wrong foot, let's start over from the very beginning. Allow me to introduce myself." Bayonetta tapped her heel, taking a step back and bowing.

"Bayonetta: Umbran Witch and Angelic Exterminator at your service."

"We don't want your service." Ragna stated with a glare as Bayonetta stood back up.

"But I'm sure you want answers, as do I." Bayonetta stated, stepping towards the two.

"How about I come in and we talk?" Bayonetta offered, holding her hands up in mock surrender.

"No surprises, no guns, no demons." Ragna stared at the Umbran Witch, not trusting her one bit…..but he needed answers, and if she knew the Paladins that could be a lead, plus they now had a communicator to contact the League.

"Ragna…..if you don't trust her, we can use the Lasso on her." Diana whispered, glaring up at the Umbran Witch. Ragna completely forgot about the Lasso of Truth….which would work.

"Fine, come on in."

(A Devil's Justice)

"A hero, quite an interesting job for someone so young." Bayonetta mused as she just finished listening to Ragna's tale, well what he would tell her. That he is a hero, of which she suspected, and that he was part of the Justice League. He also told him about the secret organization of Paladins, of which she has never heard of. In return she told him that she was contacted by an unknown employer. The Lasso also helped in making sure she wasn't lying, whatever this thing was, it definitely showed divine magic of which she had no resistance to. Diana stood nearby trying to use the communicator, sighing in annoyance as nothing happened.

"Nothing?"

"Nothing. No one is responding!" Diana growled in annoyance as she tossed the device onto the table.

"Okay…..so what about the employer, maybe it is the Paladins." Ragna suggested. Bayonetta reached into her bosom and pulled out the letter, staring at the instruction.

"Only one way to find out." With that she crushed the piece of paper, watching it burst into flames and turn to ash.

"..."

"..."

"...Well that was a waste of time." Ragna muttered, Bayonetta nodding her head in agreement.

"What about the Demon Etrigan?" Diana asked, wondering if the rhyming demon could answer.

"I'm sorry, did you say demon?" Bayonetta asked, but was ignored as Ragna gasped.

"Right! Etrigan could help us!" Ragna reached for his phone, quickly searching for Blood in his contact.

"Hello? Brat?"

"Etrigan?! Etrigan, listen we need your he-!"

"Brat? Brat I can't hear you! It sounds like you're in a vat!"

"Etrigan! Hello?! Listen! I. NEED. YOUR. HE-!"

"HAHAHAAA! Oh silly mortals, this is nothing but a message. You fell for the oldest trick, especially you brat, you must look like quite a prick. Kay bye."

"..."

"...Funny fellow." Bayonetta commented as Ragna's right eye twitched in annoyance.

"...OKAY. Guess I can call Kara." Ragna dialed the Girl of Steel's number.

"Hello! This is Kara Zor-I mean Kent, leave a message."

"...Guess I could use Brain instead of Brawn." Ragna tried dialing Batgirl's message.

"Hello, this Barbara Gordon, leav-!"

"Great! No one is answering! Just gre-!"

BEEP

BEEP

The three looked over at the dinner table, seeing the League Communicator light up with a red light, both Ragna and Diana running up to it.

"What's going on?" Ragna asked, unsure what the device was doing, maybe it was someone calling back.

"I…..I recognize this, J'onn told me about it." Diana started, picking up the communicator.

"Ragna, this is an SOS." Diana said, both heroes staring down at the beeping device.

"Diana…today is Saturday, that means the League meets up at the Watchtower…..you don't think….." Ragna trailed off, looking back up at the Amazon.

"Ragna….they might've gotten the others too." Diana suggested.

"No….No! They couldn't do that, not to Superman of all people!" Ragna was in disbelief, it was indeed possible the Paladins went after the others in the League like Magnus planned once his army was ready. Perhaps they were here to finish his work. Regardless, he knew what must be done, looking back up at the Amazon.

"...We have to go and save them." Ragna said.

"As if there was any objection." Diana said, grabbing her Lasso and weapons.

"Great! When do we go?" Bayonetta asked, pulling out her pistols.

"I'm sorry, when did we say you were coming with us?" Ragna asked, aiming Hyde at the witch.

'Well obviously you'll need extra hands, and I got plenty to spare." Bayonetta said, showing the spectral forms of her Wicked Weaves. Ragna and Diana looked at each other then back at her, before the Amazon held up her lasso which was still wrapped around Bayonetta's wrist.

"Ugh, look. I am sorry I tried to kill you, but now I am here to help. Plus if these Paladins were the ones who hired me, I got beef with them too. I don't work with the Holy type of characters." Bayonetta said, pulling the lasso off her and staring at the two. Ragna glared at the witch, before turning to Diana, pulling her aside.

"...Do you want her with us?" Ragna asked, confusing Diana.

"I…..wait, why are you asking me?" Diana asked, not understanding why the hybrid was asking her for this.

"Well…after the Tala incident, I felt I should also ask for your opinion as well on such things." Ragna said, scratching his cheek. Diana's eyes widened in surprise, a warm feeling tightened in her chest, touched that Ragna considered her voice much more now. She looked over at the Umbran Witch then back at Ragna, leaning closer to his level.

"Is she strong?"

"...VERY." Ragna answered, hands still a bit sore from her incredible strength and speed.

"Then we don't have time to be picky, it isn't on our side." Ragna let out a loud sigh, turning to Bayonetta.

"Okay Bayonetta, you can help us. BUT no funny business!"

"Oh Little Devil I was going whether you liked it or not, I just wanted to hear you say it." Bayonetta chuckled as Ragna grumbled under his breath. A few seconds later the three stood outside, looking out towards the city below in their gear and ready to take on the Paladins.

"Don't worry Ghia'ta, guys, we're coming to save ya!" Ragna declared, pulling out Morningstar.

"Hold on!" Before Ragna and Diana lunged forward, Bayonetta tapped the tip of Ragna's blade.

"I don't know how you heroes do it, but I for one don't feel like running all the way there. We'll catch a ride." Bayonetta said, crossing her arms.

"...What?" Diana muttered, completely caught by surprise by the witch, Ragna groaning before glaring up at the witch.

"Catch a ride? I don't know if you caught on but we're in a race against time! Also we don't know if this place can even be traveled by road! Also it's not like a car is gonna stop right now for u-!"

"UNBE-!"

"What?" Ragna looked around once he heard the screaming, Bayonetta smirking.

"-FUCKING-!"

"By the Gods what is that?" Diana asked.

"Our ride." Bayonetta answered as she checked her nails.

"-LIEVABLE!" Ragna looked up just in the nick of time to see a car falling towards them. Thinking fast Ragna jumped into the air catching the car, crashing into the ground with the vehicle above his head. Inside, Enzo groaned in pain, trying his best to hold in his lunch before Bayonetta and Diana landed in front of him.

"Wha?"

"Enzo darling, we're on a tight schedule and we need a ride. So get your act together, chop chop!"

"...Unbefuckinglievable."

(A Devil's Justice)

Very short chapter, but good nonetheless since it was breather from the fighting chapters and a nice start for Act Two and onward. IDK on how many chapters are in Act Two or the remainder of the story, but I'll try and get them out as soon as I can be. It's why I made this chapter the starting point into finding Sofia and her crew. Now Ragna is working with Bayonetta, which isn't out of character since Atrocitus warmed up to him after nearly killing him twice, and some of the girls too lol. That's just how trustworthy he is...which will come to bite him in the series. I also had the flashback at the beginning to show how the girls got captured. I really don't wanna make a fight in every chapter since it's not the main point of this chapter, so I had Lero defeat them. His arrows, as you can tell, are his strongpoint.

I had Hawkgirl knocked out cause in the recent ADJ chapter I had it where they learned of J'onn weakness to fire, so it wasn't an inconsistency, plus it's not like Ghia'ta would think thats his MAIN weakness, it's fucken fire it'd hurt anyone. Now the main point for the story is Ragna, Diana, and Bayonetta working together in taking on Sofia, Lero, and Aris. Quite a pair and it's gonna be fun when we get into the final fights. We're getting closer and closer to the big fight with the Paladins, and Ragna is gonna need everything he's got into stopping them.

I'm not sure if I'll do Specials for The Marvelous Devil, which I recommend reading for everyone, but I do plan to keep writing that one.

Alright, I hope everyone has a goodnight. Zer0the0mega108 out!
