First Encounter! Arise, Robinmon, ForceBeemon!

A day had passed since their first trip into the Digital world in the last several months. When they'd returned they quickly reported what had happened and suffice to say the others weren't too pleased either.

"On top of dealing with the problems we know are coming in the real world, we'll need to worry about someone who seems to think they know what's best for an entire world," Pierce sighed. "Granted we're sorta doing the same, but at least all we're doing is making sure the bad story flags don't get triggered as much as we can."

"Plus we're not trying to control the world," Veemon added.

"That too, but the fact is one way or another, there are Digimon actually buying this," Blake sighed.

"Can't really blame them," Jaune mused. "I mean, after everything that's happened, they just want stability...but this is going too far in that direction."

"Like Gyro said yesterday, too much stability and it'll get stagnant." Rusty nodded, understanding where they were coming from somewhat.

"Yeah… hey, speaking of being stable, has anybody seen Keenan?" Yang asked, looking around.

"I gave him a mission this morning, I told him to try and gather as much dirt as he could on Fennec and Corsac, Ilia went with him so she can keep up appearances and make the Fang think she's still with them, while Keenan's hiding in her shadow with Falcomon and Kotemon." Gyro said, earning nods.

"Here's hoping they get enough we can expose those jerks for what they really are." Ruby said hopefully.

"I recommend we do the usual," Weiss sighed. "Hope for the best, plan for the worst. I just hope these two are as...confident as the 'show' made them look."

"I think we're all hoping that," Biyomon sighed.

"With what's going on in both worlds, ANY efforts we can do to minimize problems could go a long way for us," Ren sighed.

"Well, all we can do is sit tight and wait for what Ilia and company get," Gyro sighed. "We should use the time to think up a plan for the Digital World end of our problems."

"First things first, I think you should all focus on finding more of those Digimentals," Ghira suggested. After yesterday's events, he and Kali were let in on the whole story, and while they were understandably...VERY worried regarding what their daughter had been up to, they ultimately accepted that she fully intended to see this through to the end and thus did what they could to support her.

"Ghira is right. If this Digimon King's towers can block Evolution, something to counteract the effects will be of great benefit to our efforts," Kali agreed. They'd also gotten a run down on how Digimon and their levels worked along with the full story.

"In that case we should probably head back in and try to sneak around, maybe we'll get more intel on the King." Aile suggested.

"It's as good a plan as any honestly." Bemmon said with a shrug.

"Alright, in that case, Weiss, Yang, Rusty and Aile, you're with me, you two still need more experience, and Yang's there in case we need to crack some skulls." Gyro said as he stood up, Pierce being the one to open the Gate app this time as they all had received the gate app from Mirei, along with the original 10 receiving a Digimental Radar.

"Well, time to see what else we can find," Agumon shrugged as the group stood before the app.

"Digital Gate, open!" they called out as they aimed their Digivices at the app, which started to shine brightly, and they were soon pulled into the Digital World.

The group soon landed in what appeared to be a grassy hill with a few mountains in the distance. "Huh...we're in a different area than last time," Tentomon mused.

"Think that means the Gate sends us to random areas?" Biyomon asked.

"I hope not, or at least I hope we can figure out how to control that," Gyro sighed.

"Huh...this is new," Yang blinked, looking at her coat which had turned red and had gained the Crest of Love on the back. "So this is what you guys meant by a slight wardrobe change."

"Guess that happens for all of us Crest Holders," Aile shrugged, not fully understanding, but going along with it anyway.

"Probably not something we need to worry about for now," Hawkmon chuckled. "So, anything on the radars?"

Gyro, Weiss, and Yang all checked their Scrolls and activated the scanner. "We're picking up something," Weiss said. "Not just one at that. I think there are two Digimentals right next to each other."

"Well then, we'd better get going then," Yang chuckled. "The sooner we get them the better."

With that the group started walking, following the signal… unaware they were being watched, as a camera hidden in the nearby trees zoomed in on them.

"There we go… so those are the Chosen Children?" the Digimon King mused as he watched one of the many screens in his computer room.

"They don't look like much." a voice said from behind him.

"You realise that saying something like that can cause you to get a curbstomp, yes brother mine?" another voice shot back to the first.

"What? I'm just saying I could probably take them." the first said in defense.

"Yes, I'm sure that's what Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon and the Dark Masters all thought as well before being deleted." the second voice said in deadpan.

"That's quite enough you two," the Digimon King sighed. Clearly this was a fairly common occurrence. "It would be best not to underestimate them true, however it would be infinitely more beneficial to our cause if we were on the same side."

"You're gonna go for the diplomacy route," the first voice said. "But, what if they don't see things our way?"

"Then we'll simply have to defeat them. It's unfortunate, but necessary for this world to finally be at peace," the King said with determination, before he started typing on a console that appeared.

The group was walking through the field, using the Radar as a guide...before a giant wide cage sprang out of the ground, wide enough that it boxed them in, but not so wide that moving would be even remotely difficult. Also the top was wide open meaning they really could just jump out of there.

"...really?" was the dry question that came from all of them, cause as far as traps went...this was probably one of the strangest and least effective they'd EVER seen.

"These aren't even reinforced," Yang added, idly messing with one of the bars...and bending it a little.

"Whelp, time to bust out and keep moving," Gyro said as he unsheathed his swords, but before he could cut up the cage like an onion…

"A moment of your time please," a new voice said..and they noticed the speakers attached to the corners of the cage.

"I'm gonna take a wild guess and say...the so-called Digimon King we've been hearing about?" Gyro said.

"That would be me, yes. And you are, or at least some of, the Chosen Children. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," the Digimon King said politely.

"I wouldn't call us in a cage and you speaking through a speaker as being 'acquainted'," Weiss said with a frown. "But if you're going through this much trouble then I assume you want something from us."

"Quite right. You see, I would like to have your cooperation." he said, pausing for a moment "I have heard many tales of what you did to bring peace to the Digital World, and it inspired me to try and do even more, but knowing you are here, I thought to myself, maybe we could work together in bringing peace, and surely, the Digimon of the world would feel even safer knowing we all work together."

The group looked ready to deny the request, until Gyro stepped forward. "Actually that's not a bad idea," he said, while turning to his teammates with a wink, telling them to basically let him finish before saying anything. "I think we can give you our cooperation, but on a couple of conditions."

"Excellent, I knew you would be reasonable," the King seemed pleased. "So what are your conditions?"

"Only that you tear down all of your Crystal Towers AND remove the lock on Evolution. It's not our place to decide something as fundamental as that," Gyro said, his voice turning hard. "Do that and I'm sure we can come to an agreement."

The King was silent for a good few moments at that "... that's not very reasonable." he eventually said.

"Tough luck Buttercup, I ain't in the mood for cowflop." Gyro said in deadpan. "Besides, I never said anything about the Rings. Those are actually useful."

"He… doesn't mince words does he?" Rusty muttered.

"Actually, this is him being mild." Weiss told him.

"You're not planning on changing the terms at all, are you?" the King frowned.

"What was your first clue, Sherlock?" Gyro said flatly.

"Then it seems negotiations have fallen through," the King said. "Regrettable, but I suppose it wasn't unexpected."

"I'm going to take a guess and say this is where you throw your 'contingency plan' at us," Gyro said simply.

"Sadly you are correct," The King said.

It was at that moment that Gyro and Agumon felt the ground shaking beneath them… before it suddenly caved in and they fell down a hole with a scream, and then a Drimogemon crawled out, a ring around his body, followed by a Snimon flying down from the sky.

"Wait what the heck?" Yang blinked in surprise at how sudden that all had been, taking place in the span of 3 seconds at most.

"Did Gyro just get kidnapped?!" Biyomon asked in a panic.

"I do believe he was." Hawkmon said with a frown as he kept an eye on Snimon.

"We need to deal with these guys first before we can help Gyro," Weiss frowned.

"I don't see any Crystal Towers near here, so we might be able to do the usual," Tentomon said.

"Let's try it then!" Yang agreed, the group pulling out their Digivices.

(Play 'Brave Heart')

"Tentomon…"

"Biyomon…"

"Bemmon…"

"Hawkmon…"

"Evolution!"

"Kabuterimon!"

"Birdramon!"

"Snatchmon!"

"Aquilamon!"

The light soon dispersed, revealing the familiar forms of Kabuterimon and Birdramon, but alongside them were two new Digimon. The first, Snatchmon, was the size of an adult male, most of his body a dark purple color, almost black, with yellow gems on the back of his hands which each sported three claws, his legs being digitigrade and ending in three large claws, one on the front and two on the back, his head covered by a dark purple helmet with three backwards facing spikes, his lone green eye visible behind the visor, while a long tail like appendage was attached to the back of his head, ending in a stinger of sorts.

The second, Aquilamon, was a raptor like bird with red feathers over most of his body, save for his head being white with a few red markings, including a singular feather on top of his head that ended in a red tip, black horns framing his head and pointing forward, with brown feathers around his neck, the tip of his wings bearing white feathers that were themselves tipped in red, while a few feathers on his back were tipped in yellow.

Digimon Analyzer: Snatchmon

Snatchmon. Virus Type. An Adult Level Unknown Digimon. A Digimon capable of copying aspects of objects and other Digimon to power himself up. He was created as a Trojan Horse Virus, to steal data and infiltrate enemy strongholds without being noticed. His special attack is Snatch Claw, striking the enemy with his powerful claws to steal data from them.

Digimon Analyzer: Aquilamon

Aquilamon. Data Type. An Adult Level Giant Bird Digimon. Known as the Great Eagle of the Desert, this Digimon can fly at mach speed, and can locate an enemy even at great distance. He is a loyal Digimon, obeying the orders of his master above all else, and avoids barbaric people. His special attack is Blast Laser, emitting ring shaped beams from his mouth.

"Let's not waste too much time with these two!" Kabuterimon said.

"Yeah, can't let them hold us up for too long," Yang said, thinking this might be a good chance to test out what Pierce had been teaching her.

With that, the group charged forward, the flyers going straight for Snimon while the ones on the ground went for Drimogemon. The three flyers quickly intercepted Snimon as he tried to use his sickles, the birds running interference, while Kabuterimon rammed him in mid-air causing him to stumble back.

"Just because you have that ring, don't think it's going to be easy! Meteor Wing!" Birdramon called out, sending the fireballs at Snimon who was forced to dodge, but as he did…

"Mega Blaster!" Kabuterimon called out, shocking Snimon, and stunning him. "Now, go for the ring!"

Aquilamon nodded. "Blast Laser!" he called out, firing his special attack aimed right for the ring, causing it to break from the damage, leaving Snimon tumbling through the air...before he turned tail and ran away realizing he just lost any chance of winning.

Down below, Drimogemon was having issues due to a number of ice pillars that appeared thanks to Weiss, keeping it open as Yang was jumping from pillar to pillar. As she did, she focused her Semblance, and her arms started to ignite, before she used her gauntlets to push her forward in a downward momentum, slamming into Drimogemon, causing him to slam chin first into the ground.

As that was happening, Rusty was peppering Drimogemon with shots from his guns, while Aile was throwing her Chakrams, both of them whittling away at the Crystal Ring whenever they hit.

Drimogemon roared, and reared back, trying to throw them off the assault, but in the moment, he ended up giving Snatchmon and opening. "Checkmate. Snatch Claw!" he called out, landing next to Drimogemon, and striking the Crystal Ring, both destroying it and stealing its data.

(End Song)

Drimogemon stilled as he realised what happened, before looking down at the remnants of the ring… and quickly turning tail and digging a new hole in the ground for him to escape through as fast as he could.

"Coward!" Yang shouted into the hole with a huff.

"Considering we DID beat the Dark Masters, I think they only reason they're even remotely confident they can fight us is thanks to the Towers and the Rings," Biyomon snorted as the Digimon reverted to their Child forms.

"After what you told us about your adventures, I think anyone with a working self preservation instinct wouldn't want to fight you guys," Aile said dryly.

"...she makes a good point," Tentomon chuckled.

"Well then, let's get the Digimentals then get Gyro and Agumon back," Weiss said, looking at her scroll again.

"Shouldn't we try to get them back first?" Rusty asked.

"Nah, he'll be fine. As long as he doesn't have to face a Perfect, those two will kick just about anyone's butt," Yang snorted.

"That and they'll shout at us and call us idiots for coming for them FIRST." Biyomon added in deadpan, just imagining Gyro and Agumon doing that.

"Ah." was all the four newbies could say to that.

"So, yeah, Digimentals first." Tentomon sighed, before they started following the signal to its source.

"...if this was anywhere else I'd question how long this was actually here," Weiss said dryly as they looked up at an honest to god Aztec style temple that the signals were pointing towards.

"Yeah, only in the Digital World can you find stuff like this without it being centuries," Yang laughed.

"This world is weird," Rusty and Aile said dryly at the same time.

"It sure is!" the Digimon said cheerfully, not even remotely affected by the comment.

"Let's just get the Digimentals and go see what trouble our brave leader got in." Weiss said in deadpan as they walked up the steps.

When they got into the temple, they soon found a pair of pedestals which held the two Digimentals they were looking for. One was grey and had a pair of wings on the side, the Crest of Love on the front… though it was upside down. The other was yellow with several purple markings and what looked like the tip of a drill at the top, the Crest of Knowledge on the front, standing on it's side.

"Looks like these are ours," Yang said as she and Weiss went up to them, before taking them off of the pedestals without issue.

"Okay, first mission accomplished," Bemmon said. "Now we can test those out."

"Preferably when we're outside the temple," Hawkmon added.

"Yeah, no clue how big we'll get." Tentomon waved his claw a bit.

"Good call," Weiss agreed. The group were soon outside, and once they were…

"Digimental up!" both Weiss and Yang called out, holding their new Digimentals in the air, as the Digimentals, their D-Crests, and their Partners started to glow

(Play 'Break Up!')

The Crests of Knowledge and Love appeared in a void as they began to spin, as their respective Digimentals and corresponding Digimon appeared as well, rotating around the Crests.

"Biyomon…!"

"Tentomon…!"

"Armor Evolution!"

The Digimentals flew towards them, with Biyomon suddenly being hidden being a tornado, while Tentomon was hidden inside of a mass of stone, both of them taking on new shapes within while images of their evolved selves flashed over them.

The tornado burst apart as Biyomon's new form emerged, silver armor covering her longer torso with the Crest of Love on the front of it, her wings starting out covered in more armor, but ended in large pink feathers tipped with blue, her talons looking more metallic now, as her tail feathers were even larger as well, her beak sharp and gold in color, while a smaller silver piece covered the top of her head, her signature feathers coming out the back of the helmet "Loving Wings! Robinmon!"

Stone cracked open as Tentomon's new form emerged, his body completely covered in yellow armor, his upper arms ending in large drills, while his lower ones ended in hands with shovel like claws, his legs much larger, and a stinger on his back, though the tip was clearly a jackhammer. His antenna were longer and made out of 3 metal segments each, the first being dark grey while the last two were dark red, his wings now made of blue energy that came out of a jetpack looking section on his back "Steel Knowledge! ForceBeemon!"

His special attacks are Drill Missile, firing off his drills like a pair of missiles, and Land Breaker, using his jackhammer/stinger to break through the enemy's defenses.

"Now THIS is an evolution." Weiss couldn't help but say with a small grin.

"Let's go!" Yang grinned as the group moved out aiming to find Gyro and Agumon using their Digivices as as a guide.

(Pause Song)

There are a lot of things people should feel, especially when they found themselves surrounded by an army of monsters who could and probably would tear them limb from limb. Fear, panic, despair. Most people would either be frantically thinking of a way to escape or probably succumbed to the realization they were probably going to die.

Gyro was decidedly NOT most people, seeing as despite being in that situation, he was pretty much calm...though he had a feeling it was thanks to being basically desensitized to life and death situations by now…

"When do you think I can torch these guys?" Agumon muttered from next to him as the small army of Adult levels kept their eyes on them.

"As soon as I get my hands on my Digivice again." Gyro muttered back, somewhat angry at these Digimon taking his Digivice, his Scroll, AND his weapons.

"You will remain silent!" one of the Digimon, a Pidmon, told him threateningly.

"I'll do what I want featherhead, thanks." Gyro shot back in annoyance.

"You're walking on thin ice prisoner." another guard, an orange colored Growlmon, said warningly while Pidmon growled in anger.

"If you're trying to be intimidating, go fight the Dark Masters, and an army of a few THOUSAND Diablomon, and then we'll talk." Agumon said blandly.

Growlmon blinked "What's a Diablomon?"

"Exactly." Agumon added.

"In short, it's gonna take a LOT more than some Adult levels with fancy power bracelets to scare us," Gyro said simply.

Clearly the guards were NOT impressed, and looked ready to show, or at least try to, show them 'their place'. However, before they could even try (and probably fail), the voice of the Digimon King cut in.

"Now now you two, don't be rude to our guests." his voice cut in as he finally appeared… and Gyro had to admit, the young man looked regal at the very least, and his glasses worked well to hide the upper half of his face.

"Guests huh? You'll have to excuse us of being sceptical of that, seeing as we were kidnapped and are basically being held prisoner." Gyro said in deadpan.

"I'm sorry, but I had to be sure you wouldn't just run away before hearing out what I had to say. I prepared what I hope you'll find to be some good arguments as to why we should work together." the King said kindly, surprising Gyro and Agumon.

"Gotta admit, at least you have manners compared to the usual bunch we have to deal with," Agumon said.

"But don't expect us to get on board with what's basically turning this world into a zoo," Gyro said simply.

"A zoo? I'm making this world a better place." the King shot back.

"Sure you are kid, keep telling yourself that. The Digital World is one that exists on the concept of evolution itself, and you've put a cork on something that's just waiting to blow up in your face. I doubt Yggdrasil is happy with you doing this kind of thing." Gyro said with a sigh.

"But you have to admit, its that uncontrolled element that allows dangers like the Dark Masters to come into being," the King countered. "If we were to screen the process, we could prevent such monsters from appearing ever again. And for that matter, I don't know who this Yggdrasil is, but this world belongs to the Digimon, not to any one person."

"Be that as it may, we're fine with just rising up to beat down the uncontrolled element whenever it happens. Besides, just being in control doesn't mean you've eliminated every evil Digimon, I'm sure there are still some lurking around, waiting for a chance to strike right now." Gyro said harshly.

"And how do you NOT know about Yggdrasil? He's the Great Server for crying out loud! The literal god of the Digital World, and from what he told us, he's holding back some great darkness on his own right as we speak. He CHOSE us to be the light in the Digital World's darkest hour." Agumon added, incredulous at someone NOT knowing about the Digital World's creator.

The King seemed surprised at that, but quickly regained his composure. "Then if he is holding back a great evil, shouldn't we do what we can to ensure there isn't more for him to deal with? By allowing the Digimon to better defend themselves and even stopping dangerous Digimon before they grow too powerful, the peaceful world he no doubt wishes for can become closer to fruition."

"Actually, from what we understand the great evil is the source of a few of them, so I doubt we have to worry about any big issues until he feels we're ready to take it on." Gyro said, mostly to himself, though the King heard him anyway.

"Why does he want YOU to fight it?" The King asked skeptically "Surely if he is the god of this world he would be able to defeat it himself."

"We're not quite sure on that, but we think he wants to see how far we've come, see if he can truly leave the world in our hands and finally take a backseat to everything. At least, that's our theory." Agumon shrugged.

"Then shouldn't this be the correct path? If he wants to leave the world in your hands, shouldn't your next move be ensuring the world can remain safe?" the King pointed out.

"Not if it means making this world stagnate," Gyro sighed. "We've fought against Chaos plenty of times to restore Order. But you...you're trying to remove it from the equation altogether. That's going too far in that direction."

"How is chaos a good thing? We both know what it does to Remnant!" the King said somewhat hotly.

Gyro sighed "Oh boy, so there's a can of worms there too huh?" he muttered to himself, grimacing as he wondered if he should tell him… but thought against it, too much of a bomb right now "The Grimm are pretty different from the Digimon though. Besides, don't know if you've noticed, but Digimon have started claiming some of the land of Remnant, clearing out the Grimm. We might actually be able to rebuild Mount Glenn within the next few years."

"Well of course, the Digimon wouldn't lose to those monsters," the King nodded.

"Yeah, but the reason they can keep winning is the exact thing you're trying to suppress. Take away their ability to evolve and what happens if they come across something your fancy Rings can't help them defeat?" Gyro pressed.

"Then I'll make them better. I won't pretend this is perfect yet, but in time I am certain I'll be able to perfect the system," the King said, his voice level, and even with his shades, Gyro could tell he was looking him in the eyes.

Gyro sighed, shaking his head "You have the best of intentions kid, I can tell… but your methods are wrong, trust me on that. I've seen scenarios like this before, they never end well."

"I see you have no intention whatsoever of coming to an agreement," the King sighed in a mix of tiredness and annoyance.

"Oh I do, just not on terms you'd be happy with," Gyro said without missing a beat.

"Then I guess there's nothing left to say," the King sighed.

"Yep," Gyro chuckled...before a gust of wind blew, causing the King's cloak to flip upward, and a certain set of items flying, to which Gyro caught them all. "And thanks for returning my stuff," he added with a chuckle.

The King was certainly surprised at the objects suddenly flying away from his cloak, before he sighed "I see… I suppose I did forget to take semblances into account."

"Yeahp, you did, good thing you don't have something that restricts those though, or else I'd have no choice but to treat you like a full on tyrant. As it is you just look like a misguided kid to me, so I'll make it easy on you and give you a chance to stop this right here and now." Gyro said, pointing one of his swords at the King.

The King shook his head "I'm afraid I can't do that. I WILL complete my vision. Whether you want me to or not." he said as he drew a broadsword from underneath his cloak.

"Seems a bit unfair don't you think? These two and you against me and Agumon?" Gyro said snidely.

"Pidmon and Growlmon won't fight, their simply here to ensure no foul play takes place." The King said, giving a meaningful look to the two Digimon, who got the message with nervous nods.

"I see… you're hiding something though… or rather someone, aren't you?" Gyro said, before a strong gust of wind blew through the area and he heard somebody tumble down a bit behind him, but before he could turn to look, a light shined from inside the King's cloak, and suddenly a Digimon jumped up from behind Gyro and landed next to the King.

The Digimon in question was as tall as an adult human with purple fur over their body and long rabbit like ears on top of their head, a trio of small horns on their forehead while they wore a sort of yellow martial arts uniform with a blue scarf around their neck and a pair of red gloves with silver gauntlets shaped like large spikes attached to them. Turuiemon, a quick look at the Analyzer told Gyro.

Digimon Analyzer: Turuiemon

Turuiemon. Data Type. An Adult Level Beast Man Digimon. A Digimon proficient in martial arts obtained from data originating from China, it has the level of skill of a Black Belt. He fights using his own original martial arts, the Togaken, and pursues cunning viruses across the globe to defeat them. His special attack is the Gantoretto, a combo attack done at high speeds with the Tokaku Tessou on his arms.

Gyro frowned, before grinning a bit "That was evolution right there. So… you have a Digivice then… too bad you showed your hand." he said, as a flash and a second later, Greymon stood next to him, grabbing both Pidmon and Growlmon before throwing them out of the way.

"You got the skill to take me on?" Greymon said tauntingly.

"I know I do." Turuiemon spoke calmly as he got in a fighting stance.

Gyro was the first to make his move, sending gusts of wind that kicked up sand towards his opponents, before charging forward, but the King quickly reacted, and brought up his sword, blocking Gyro's attack. At the same time, Turuiemon got the dust out of his eyes and jumped through the cloud...but was met with Greymon's tail, knocking him back. However, he quickly rebounded from the attack and used his greater speed to zip around Greymon, the larger mon looking carefully to find an opening, all the while blocking any attacks.

"You're pretty good. Went to any combat schools?" Gyro smirked as he was landing a combo of strikes, but each strike he did was blocked and parried by the King, even if Gyro had him on the defensive.

"No, but I had some amazing tutors from Atlas." the King said.

"'From' huh? Not 'At'." Gyro noticed the wording, and the King winced at the hint he had accidentally given "So, someone outside of Atlas… you gotta have either a lot of money or lots of potential to get tutors from there."

The King remained silent, but he was frowning, and Turuiemon clicked his teeth in annoyance at his partner giving the Chosen something to work from. They'd have to be careful with their words from now on. Acting quickly, the King pushed back, forcing Gyro back a bit, before pressing a switch, causing his sword to extend into a snake sword/chain whip, which he used to keep Gyro at a distance...with mixed success as Gyro used his wind to send the weapon off course, to which the King retracted it before it hit anything other than its intended target.

At the same time Turuiemon thought he found an opening, aiming to strike...only for Greymon to turn faster than his large frame would imply, and hit him with his hardened head, sending him flying back, and skidding to a stop next to his partner. "Gotta admit, they're really good," he growled.

"They DID defeat the Dark Masters. I'd be surprised if they couldn't put up a fight," the King frowned, before breathing a little, eyes closed behind his shades, and then opening them again, his eyes glowing a little under the shades. "Turuiemon, attack pattern AV, prompt shifts," the King said.

"Got it," Turuiemon nodded, before they both surged forward. The King swung his sword, to which Gyro jumped over it, but when he did, the King suddenly engaged his sword's alt form and swung it upward...in a way that actually ended up right in Gyro's path.

"Whoa!" Gyro gasped, using his wind to shift trajectory, evading the strike...only for the follow up to essentially chase after him as if he knew where he was going to end up next.

At the same time, Turuiemon was going around Greymon again, seemingly using the same trick as before...but every time Greymon moved to intercept, the King would shout a prompt, causing Turuiemon to shift his attack, and avoid or actually catch Greymon mid-movement.

"Okay, either you plan for everything, or your partner has some kind of Semblance that lets him do this!" Greymon growled. He'd seen PLENTY of stuff in Remnant, so a Semblance that could let the user predict their next move was perfectly believable.

"Getting annoyed here." Gyro grumbled as he kept weaving around in the air, avoiding the King's strikes "You want attack patterns? I'll give you one. Greymon, do Hulk!"

Greymon grinned as he knew exactly what Gyro meant, while their opponents were confused "Greymon Smash!" he roared as he jumped up slightly before slamming his legs and tail into the ground, causing the area to shake a bit.

EVERYONE in the area was shaken up...except Gyro who simply used his semblance to float off of the ground, while the King and Turuiemon were left with the nigh impossible task of maintaining balance while a dinosaur was basically doing a drum solo with the ground. The King tried to focus, tried to find a way out of this but well...it was hard to focus when EVERYTHING was shaking. All the while Gyro was just chuckling as he gathered more and more wind into his hands, turning them into a ball.

"Don't hit me with copyright Kishimoto." he muttered with a grin, before throwing it like one would a bowling ball, and when it hit… it burst into a tornado, sending both of them flying a little, before landing on the ground, Turuiemon's eyes swirly.

"Your majesty!" Pidmon and Growlmon gasped, before glaring. "Why you!" they glared, before attaching a pair of Crystal Rings to themselves and feeling the surge of energy. "You'll pay for that!"

"Sorry, we don't have any change," Greymon smirked.

"That and I'd be worried about other things if I were you," Gyro smirked.

"Oh yeah? Like what?" Growlmon glared.

"Like our friends coming this way," Greymon said cheerfully, right as a figure dove from the sky, as well as another one bursting out of the ground, both slamming into the two angry Digimon and knocking them away, revealing to be Robinmon and ForceBeemon.

(Restart Song)

Gyro whistled impressively "Not bad, so that's what you two got for Armor forms."

"We're flying even faster than usual." Yang grinned from Robinmon's back.

"I could do without the dirt in my hair personally." Weiss muttered as she clung to ForceBeemon's back.

"Where are the newbies though?" Greymon asked.

"Trailing behind us a bit." Robinmon answered, before rings of energy descended on Pidmon from the sky, making them look up to see Aquilamon with Aile, Rusty and Bemmon on his back.

"Their actually pretty good in serious combat you know?" ForceBeemon told Gyro.

"That so? Guess I'll have to spar with them later to properly gauge them." he said with a smile as he looked up at the new Chosen and flashed them a peace sign, earning a thumbs up.

"So, that's the Digimon King?" Weiss asked as she looked down at the still dazed King, being helped up by his partner.

"Yeah, he tried to recruit me. Failed obviously." Gyro shrugged "Anyway, I think the two decorations are raring for more."

"We are not decorations!" Growlmon and Pidmon roared in anger.

"Sure you aren't." Yang rolled her eyes, before patting Robinmon's back "Go for it." Right before she jumped off.

"With pleasure," Robinmon chuckled...before she was seemingly gone...and Pidmon found himself pinballing through the sky, as something was knocking him silly. That something turned out to be Robinmon who was moving so fast, he could barely even get a chance to react.

Down below, Growlmon was aiming to strike at ForceBeemon with his Plasma Blade, only for ForceBeemon to meet it head on with his drills, both spinning rapidly...before Growlmon shouted in pain as the drills bypassed the energy around his blade, before continuing the attack, jabbing him with said drills and pushing him back, while easily flying out of the way when Growlmon tried to fight back with Exhaust Flame. "I think that's quite enough out of you two," ForceBeemon growled, before shifting and jabbing his stinger into Growlmon. "Land Breaker!" he called out, the force hitting Growlmon. Hard. Sending him flying up into the air, right towards Pidmon who was looking VERY dizzy, but got through it enough...just in time to see what was coming for him, the two mon colliding, to which Robinmon appeared nearby.

"Time for you two to go! Tempest Beat!" she called out, creating a tornado which got both mon in a spin cycle as they were screaming...and were soon sent flying well away till they were a twinkle in the sky.

(End Song)

"And they're gone," Greymon chuckled before reverting to Agumon.

"Yeah… same for the king though. He took the chance to escape." Gyro said as he looked around, seeing no signs of the young ruler.

"Meh, we'll get him another day… though I wonder if he'll noticed we knocked down a few towers on the way here?" Yang said with a chuckle.

"Probably, for now, let's get back, we have some strategies to make." Gyro said as they nodded, ready to head back.

They'd need to prepare to take on the King.

And Voila!

Yeah, that's our next chapter there, the debut of both Robinmon and ForceBeemon, whom I took a few liberties with from the original depictions, namely some slight design changes to Robinmon... and making ForceBeemon bigger so Weiss can ride on his back.

But I hope you enjoyed this chapter, along with the proper debut of the Digimon King, because as always...

The Adventure Evolves.
