Chapter 1: Explanations
In this story, Amy is 22 years old who's half sisters are 18 year old Adrian and 16 year old Ashley who are full siblings. Robbie is 5 and is Amy, Adrian and Ashley's half brother. They are all related via George Juergens. Amy and Ricky are boyfriend and girlfriend but don't have a child together. Adrian and Ben are boyfriend and girlfriend.
George has had legal issues since he was in high school. He had Amy with a woman named Anne when he was 16. Anne left the picture shortly before Amy turned 2. A year later, George met a woman named Cindy Lee. Soon after, he got her pregnant which led to him and Amy moving out of his parents house and going to live with Cindy's mom and stepdad. George and Cindy had a toxic on again-off again relationship along with many legal issues. 2 years after Adrian was born, Cindy gave birth to Ashley. George and Cindy continued to be on again-off again relationship along with being in and out of jail. Amy was always in and out of George's parents' house growing up. Meanwhile Adrian and Ashley were in and out of their grandma and step-grandpa's house growing up. George and Cindy's on again-off again relationship finally ended when Amy was 15, Adrian was 12 and Ashley was 10. George and Amy moved back in with his parents while Cindy, Adrian and Ashley moved back in with her mom and stepdad. A year later, Cindy got her own home. A few months later, George along with everyone else found out that he fathered his drug dealers son and took custody of him as she wanted nothing to do with him. A year later, Adrian grew tired of her parents' incompetence and told her grandma everything. She reported them to CPS which led to George's parents getting custody of Amy and Robbie while Cindy's mom and stepdad got custody of Adrian and Ashley. The siblings were always able to maintain a good relationship because their grandparents made sure to let them see each other.
When it came time for Amy to leave for college a few months later, she chose to still live at home with her grandparents so she'd be able to help out with Robbie. During her 1st month of college, she ran into Ricky Underwood who she met the year before when they worked at the same summer camp. A romantic relationship never happened at the time because he was the manager and she was a staff member. He was also 18 and she was 17. They ended up becoming a couple soon after running into each other again and have been together ever since. After being together for 2 years, they decided to move in together. After living together for a year, George got arrested for assault and had to serve 3 months in jail. That led to Ricky and Amy getting temporary custody of Robbie during the time George was in jail. After George was released, Robbie moved out of Amy and Ricky's apartment and back in with George and his grandparents.
Meanwhile, Adrian started dating Ben Boykevich her junior year of high school. Ben is a year and a half older than her and was in the grade above her. They've been together ever since. They moved into a apartment together a few months ago.
Little did anyone know, life was about to change for them in a big way no one ever saw coming.
