Note: So I'm telling this story with a few tweaks that I made when I published this on going story on Wattpad. I hope the way I tell it will be a bit more….appetizing to you lovely people.

Raven slid into bed after lighting the candle on her nightstand. Adjusting her long tangled brown hair around her head, she pulled the bed covers up further. Raven fell into yet another nightmare.

Belladonna had busied herself by tidying up the sitting room and kitchen after Raven went to bed. She had tucked in her little girl after saying goodnight to Bilbo. They both had reached maturity but Belladonna treasured her children dearly! They were her life.

Belladonna now sported a head of grey hair and a few wrinkles on her face. Her hands had become bony and she had thinned out. But she was still a young spunctious Hobbit at heart and her health was still in good shape.

With a book plopped open on her leg and a cup of tea sitting near the chair, Belladonna decided reading a couple chapters of a good book sounded nice before bed.

Belladonna wasn't sure how much time had passed before her ears picked up a pair of hurried footsteps pattering across the floor. Belladonna looked up from her book to find her son, Bilbo, running up to her, a terrified look on his face.

"What's wrong darling?" Her brown eyes were full of concern.

"Raven." Bilbo cried. "Raven is having a nightmare. Her moans woke me up. At first I thought maybe I was hearing things, but Raven's moans came through the wall again."

Belladonna snapped her book shut and quickly made her way to Raven's room. Belladonna and her late husband Bungo adopted Raven when she was ten.

Belladonna was all sorts of worried as she entered the bedroom at the end of the hall. Her baby had lost her parents when she was ten. Her baby had lost her birth mother when she was six. And lately, her baby had been having nightmares.

Sure enough, Belladonna heard whimpering and crying when she entered the bedroom that belonged to her baby girl. Belladonna caught sight of tears running down Raven's face as she made her way over to perch on the bed.

Raven's eyes suddenly snapped open after another hour.

Raven woke up sitting bolt right up in bed, screaming and crying! Her breathing was ragged. She felt a pair of arms wrap around her and heard a sweet gentle voice speak soothing words. "Sshhh, Darling. I'm here sweet girl."

Raven sees her Hobbit mother when she turns her head to look at who is holding her. Her arms automatically wrap around her mother, sobbing!

Raven just wailed because she could do nothing else! Raven had gained a wonderful mother and father, but only at the cost of loosing her parents!

"Mother and father are dead! They died after giving me up!"

"I know Darling. Sshhh, Darling. I'm here sweet girl." Belladonna gently soothed Raven.

Raven had never wept so hard in her entire life!

She wept while her 'Amad held her. She wept until all of the tears were shed! She wept until she finally grew so tired, her 'Amad tucked her back in.

Raven let out a heavy, shaky sigh while Belladonna ran her slender fingers along her daughter's scalp, down through her hair until her body and brain shut down. Watching Raven's eyes finally close.

"You can tell me everything tomorrow, Darling." Raven heard her 'Amad's gentle voice soothe her like a balm to a very bad wound before she fell asleep again.
