Who can be a hero? It can be the people you'd expect it to be, or it could be someone you'd never think to be nothing more than an average citizen. For one such person, that's about to become reality.
It was an average day, as a young 12 year old Japanese girl walked down the sidewalk. She had brown hair, blue eyes, average height. She wore a red T-shirt with a flower on the front, a yellow skirt with blue pants underneath and green sneakers. She pulled off her pink backpack and opened it up, pulling out a picture. The picture had her, a man in his early 30's with brown hair, a woman looking similar to the girl, but the same age as the man, and a young man around 17 years of age with spiky brown hair and glasses
"I wish you were here, Papa, Mama, Onii-chan." The girl said as a tear rolled down her face. She then placed the photo back in her bag, next to an old leather book, and a strange device that resembled a handheld projector. (Imagine Decade's Driver, But Silver And Grey) She then walked up the ramp to a building with a sign that read "Royal Woods Middle School".
Construction Site
At a construction site outside of town, a foreman was watching the progress when one of his workers approached him. "Sir! We found something you might want to check out!" He told the foreman. Soon the two arrived at a spot, there they found a round stone tablet, with 7 carvings, each depicting a dragon, a T-rex, a lion, an eagle, a Hercules beetle, a shark, and a coiled up snake. "What do you suppose it is?" The worker asked. "I don't know, and I don't care! Just lift it out of the ground with a crane and get it out of here!" The foreman ordered. Unbeknownst to any of them, the eyes on each of the carvings started glowing.
Royal Woods Middle School
The girl approached a door and opened it, entering a classroom. "Sumimasen, Sensei." She told the teacher, with a slight bow, catching everyone's attention. "My name Is Sakura Hoseki, I just moved here from Japan. I was told to come here." Sakura said. "Ah, yes. Miss Hoseki, we were waiting for you, come here." The teacher said, allowing Sakura to come to the desk. "Class, as she just said, this is Sakura Hoseki, she'll be enrolled here from here on out, please be nice. Now, your desk is right over there, next to Lincoln over there." The teacher said, directing her to an empty desk near a certain white haired boy. "Arigato Sensei." Sakura said, bowing and taking a seat. "A new kid, this should be fun, eh buddy?" A young, African American kid with glasses, a small afro, and a striped sweater told Lincoln. "You got that right, Clyde." Lincoln said.
Construction Site
"Hey, be careful! If this thing turns out to be valuable, any and all damages are coming out of your paychecks!" The foreman said as the tablet was lifted out by a crane with straps. "Sorry boss!" One said. Unbeknownst to any of them, the eyes on the dragon carving started glowing. Suddenly the crane started malfunctioning. "Hey! something's wrong with the controls!" The worker operating the crane said. Suddenly the crane dropped the tablet onto a stone, cracking it and shattering it into a thousand pieces. Once that happened, 7 bright lights shot up into the sky and dispersed. "You see what happens!" The foreman complained.
The Middle School
It was now lunch time, as Sakura sat at the table, pulling out a square box, which she opened up to reveal several Japanese delicacies. "Hey there. Sakura, right?" Sakura looked up to see the voice coming from two boys she recognized from class. "Hai, that's me." Sakura said. "I'm Lincoln, this is my best friend Clyde, we noticed you were all alone, and decided to give you some company, Is that alright?" Lincoln asked. "That's fine with me." Sakura said, picking up an onigiri. (Those Rice Balls The English Dub Of Pokémon Calls Doughnuts) "Itadakimasu!" She said, biting into the rice ball.
Unknown Location
At a dark castle in an unidentified location, the 7 lights from before landed in a throne room, revealing 7 figures. "AAH! Finally!" A large, humanoid lion said, stretching his limbs. "We're free from that accursed tablet!" He said as the other figures got a hold of themselves. "Ah, it feels good to be able to spread my wings after so long!" A female, humanoid eagle said, doing so. "Yes! Now I can smash whoever I want again!" A large humanoid Hercules Beetle said. "Yeah, let's do it!" A large humanoid shark said. "Can't you two think about anything elssssse?" A large humanoid rattlesnake said, annoyed. "Quiet! King Draco wishes to speak!" A large humanoid T-rex said, directing everyone's attention to a dragon like being. "So many years ago, we came to this planet seeking to conquer it, but that foolish human stopped us and sealed us!" King Draco said in frustration. "But now, it's time we begun our plans anew! Tyrannus, Leo, Aquilis, Kabuto, Megalonis, Ophiucus! Prepare for battle!" He said as a large army of humanoid lizard beings arose from the shadows. "Lizardons, advance and make our presence known again!" Draco told the footsoldiers who cheered in anticipation.
Royal Woods
It was now after school as Sakura, Lincoln, and Clyde walked along the path way. "Wow, Lincoln-kun you seriously have 10 sisters?!" Sakura said. "Yep, they're all annoying as hell, but I still love them all." Lincoln said. "What about you Sakura? You have any siblings?" Clyde asked. "Just one." Sakura said with a tinge of sadness.
Then they noticed people screaming and running in fear. "Huh? What's going on?" Lincoln asked. "There's an army of lizard people wreaking havoc! Run as fast as you can!" One man told the three before resuming his panic. "Lizard people?" Sakura asked in confusion before realizing something. "Arienai!" She said, quickly running in the opposite direction everyone else was running. "Hey, Sakura. You're going the wrong way!" Clyde said in worry. "Let's go after her!" Lincoln said, following the young girl. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!" Clyde asked, following Lincoln.
Soon Sakura arrived at what seems to be the epicenter of the attack. Hiding behind a car, she quickly looked and saw humanoid lizards attacking. Ducking behind the car, she quickly pulled the book out of her backpack, and quickly leafed through the pages, stopping on a page with a drawing of the beings. "Soreha." She said with worry, before placing the book back in her bag and pulling out the device and gulping. "Sosen, watashi ni chikara o ataete kudasai." Sakura silently said. "Sakura!" She turned to see Lincoln and Clyde. "Lincoln-kun, Clyde-kun, what are you doing here?!" Sakura asked. "I was asking myself the same question!" Clyde said in fear. "What's going on here Sakura? What are those things?" Lincoln asked, pointing to the lizardons. "No time to explain, just get to safety!" Sakura said, running out from behind the car. "HEY!" She said, catching the attention of the footsoldiers. "So the seal has been broken, huh? Well looks like I'm going to have to repair it!" She said, holding the mysterious device high in the air, only to hesitate. She looked at it, her arm and body shaking in fear. "What's she doing?!" Lincoln asked. "Better question, why are we hiding behind a car and not somewhere safer, like your bedroom?!" Clyde asked in fear. Suddenly one of the Lizardons attacked Sakura, forcing her to drop the device, which slid over to Lincoln and Clyde. The footsoldiers started approaching Sakura, who started backing up in fear, when suddenly, Lincoln charged in and kicked one away. "Phew! I guess all those times with Lynn has actually payed off!" Lincoln said. "I believe this is yours." Lincoln said, returning the device to Sakura, who suddenly got an idea. "Actually..." She said, placing it on Lincoln's waist, causing a belt to reach around one end to the other. "I think it's yours.: She said, pushing down a little lever causing it to project a small screen with the numbers 0-9 in the style of an old fashioned cellphone, with a * and # on either side of the 0. "What the?" Lincoln said. "No time to explain, just tap the code, 0-0-0-1 on the screen!" Sakura said. "Uh, okay?" Lincoln said, uncertain.
0-0-0-1! Let's GO!
A voice called out. "Now quick, strike a pose, yell 'Henshin!' And swipe at the screen!" Sakura instructed. "This just keeps getting weirder." Lincoln said, striking a pose similar to Kamen Rider Fourze's pre-henshin pose. "Henshin?" Lincoln said, before grabbing the screen and tossing it aside. "What the?!" Lincoln asked as it started circling around his feet and rising. As it rose his outfit started changing into an orange body suit, with matching boots and gloves. When it reached above his head it split into 6 pieces, 5 of which turned into armor for his arms, legs, and chest. The last of which turned into blue, bug like eyes that hit his face, forming a helmet.
Dark Castle
"What the?!" Leo asked in shock as everyone saw what just happened. "How can thissss be?!" Ophiucus said as King Draco looked intently.
Battlefield
Clyde looked in awe as Sakura admired what just happened. "Not what we had in mind, but it'll do." She said as Lincoln stood stoically.
