Is Shirou going to stay like this? Shirou is having a massive nervous breakdown. It's the result of everything that happened to him... especially the fact that he's separated from Sakura. Fortunately, we always end up recovering even if it is sometimes very long. And then, as you might suspect, Rin won't let him get depressed. And someone else decided to 'fix' brokenShirou... Can you guess who I'm talking about? Come on, this person has already shown her interest in this redhead...

I understand that many readers do not appreciate this Shirou 'Alter'. But I read numerous FanFiction that starts in the same way as my story (Shirou post-HF sent on another world) and... Here is this Shirou who starts his life anew with a light heart... And the author hardly mentions the name of Sakura any more than in one chapter out of ten. Do you really think that's how someone who's separated from the woman he loves should react? It annoyed me... I wanted to make Shirou react in a more humane way. He is traumatized by his own death in circumstances worthy of a horror film... and he returns to life in another world to learn that he will never see Sakura again. It seems normal to me that he does not take it very well.

Does Hakuno recognize Emiya Shirou as Nameless? More or less, as I explain in the 'King of Thief' chapter.

Which Servants will appear in the next chapters? Several Reviewers have suggested Servants' names. I obviously don't want to spoil my own story. Just know that only Hakuno can summon Servants (sorry, no Servant for Shirou). Both the Hakuno Servants and those who will serve Sefar will come from the Moon Cell (Ishtar and Ereshkigal are the only Servants from FGO). The Servants who will appear in this FanFiction will often be invoked to tag along with the main characters for some chapters... and will be Servants sent by the Moon Cell to solve a crisis because the automaton considers them capable of handling the situation. Imagine, for example, that Sefar sent Darius III (Berserker) and his army. In response, the Moon Cell Automaton would send Leonidas (Lancer) as a backup, which would give us the chance to witness a remake of the Battle of Thermophiles. After the passage where the Servant had his hour of glory, he will disappear (either he remains there, to manage the fallout, or he has had a heroic death).

I'm already criticized for writing a story with too many side characters, for not talking enough about Shirou, or for talking too much about Godou. I don't think adding 20 Servants helps much.

Remember, the story is centered on the Ishtar/Shirou and Ereshkigal/Hakuno couples. These are the main characters and it is their story that this FanFiction tells.

Ironically, I have planned to have Shirou summon Sitonai... as it was just suggested to me... but not in this story. If you want to see a Master Shirou/ Servant Shitonai duo, read my story called 'Ryuudou Awakening'. But wait for a little, the invocation of Shitonai is scheduled for the next Arc (the Sixth Grail War of Fuyuki), I am currently finishing the Arc 'King of the Oni'.

Duel

"For the last time stop joining me in my bed when I sleep. And get dressed!"

Godou's angry voice sounded strong enough for the Onsen customers to lift their heads from their breakfast.

Athena rested her tempura bowl and nodded her head.

"My prey is in good shape."

Yuri Mariya stood up with a face red of anger.

"Erica is supposed to be one of the best knights in Europe; she should behave in a more virtuous way."

As for Liliana Kranjcar, she had just hidden her face in her hands, whispering incoherent words about a huge pool of champagne and Godou behaving indecently in the company of all the beauties of the planet.

Busy drinking her green tea, Ishtar raised an inquiring eyebrow.

"And that's how it is every morning?"

Athena nodded. As always, her beautiful calm face showed no emotion.

"Almost."

"And Godou doesn't take advantage of the opportunity?"

"No."

"Oh," added Ishtar in a meditative tone. "Honored Athena you don't think... " The Mistress of Heaven hid her lips with one hand, pounding with laughter while making with the other hand the gesture of measuring something very very small...

Yuri, Liliana, and Ena Sheishuuin cried out immediately, visibly offended by the insinuation, and asking for an apology on behalf of their king. At that moment, the only boy around the breakfast table (Alec not yet up) Shirou felt perfectly sympathetic with Goudou... Ishtar was a demon.

Unlike others, the goddess of wisdom does not react emotionally, seriously reflecting on what Ishtar implied. However, she eventually shook her head.

"No, I rather think that Godou Kusanagi is intimidated by the beauty of the knight Erica Blandelli and by the fact that she systematically takes the offensive. Actually, the way of acting of Knight Blandelli is counterproductive. Having clearly demonstrated her intentions, she should now leave the initiative to Godou... King Goudou would be more receptive to Erica Blandelli's romantic advances if he had the illusion of deciding."

Ishtar acquiesced approvingly, Athena was not considered without reason as the goddess of strategy.

Nevertheless, one thing surprised her.

The Greek goddess had very clearly designated Godou as her 'prey' and was ready to defend her ownership 'rights' over the Campione. However, she did not show the slightest jealousy towards the 'wifes' of Goudou. In fact, the goddess of wisdom seemed even happy that Godou was surrounded by devoted and competent women. Ishtar speculated that Athena considered herself so superior to mortal women that she did not acknowledge the harem as true rivals.

Busy eating rice, Hakuno put down her bowl and chopsticks before turning to Ereshkigal.

"What are they talking about?"

A slight redness appeared on the cheeks of the Queen of the Underworld.

Hakuno's innocence was refreshing, but... someone has to finally explain to her a few things about male-female relationships... which meant... it was her, Ereshkigal, to explain because the teenage girl was under her responsibility... The goddess sighed and ended up smiling in a very artificial way. One day she has to explain... certainly... but that didn't necessarily mean today.

"It's nothing important, Hakuno, eat."

It was the second morning at the Tsugaru Onsen and a kind of routine was established. Oddly, the cohabitation between Campiones and Goddesses had so far gone without any major problems.

The inhabitants of the city of Kuroishi had still not returned to their homes, supposedly because of toxic gases lying near the crater of the meteorite. Also, no one could observe the strange and heterogeneous group that had gathered in the parking lot of the Tsugaru Onsen. Again dressed in their usual outfits, Ereshkigal and Ishtar looked like cosplayers. Except Ishtar, with her legs crossed, her chin resting on her hand was sitting... on nothing, floating a meter above the ground. Okay, not cosplayers, the real deal.

The truth was that the city had been evacuated to hide their more than remarkable presence, at least until an explanation was found.

Three minibusses were parked in the parking lot and members of the History Compilation Committee were busy loading luggage. The 'holidays' were over, and the 'holidaymakers' would be able to resume their normal lives (or rather their equivalent for those individuals who did not know normality).

As a car entered the parking lot all eyes turned to it.

Slowing down, the vehicle came to a stop and the rear door opened to allow a red-haired 'young man' to descend. Dressed in a business suit, holding a briefcase in 'his' hand, 'he'... or rather she took a few steps before bowing politely before the goddesses and the Campiones.

"Allow me to greet you on behalf of the History Compilation Committee. I am Sayanomiya Kaoru, Tokyo Branch Chief."

Ishtar squinted, looking at the cross-dressing young woman. She had had the opportunity to speak to him on the phone several times in the last two days. The History Compilation Committee had respectfully inquired about the desires of the goddesses Ishtar and Ereshkigal... and the two Mesopotamian deities took the opportunity to demand 'offerings' in a manner suitable to their status and position.

Having finished greeting the people present, according to their rank, Kaoru turned again to Ishtar.

"Respected goddess Ishtar, it is a joy to finally meet you."

The Queen of Heaven answered with a superior smirk, crossing her arms on her chest and swaggering about.

"Isn't that right? Many of my most zealous worshippers have never had that chance. You should thank me for this interview."

Kaoru blinked several times, surprised by the totally uninhibited arrogance of the goddess. Disciplined, the Committee member complimented the goddess and then...

"... and I bring with me the offering requested by the Goddess of Venus and her sister, the noble Queen of the Netherworld."

A member of the Committee had brought a folding table with him and Kaoru put her briefcase there before opening it. She took out four sets of identity papers and other legal documents, including a deed of ownership, signature seals (1), and bank booklets for the two goddesses and the two humans who accompanied them.

"Officially, you are now Rin Tohsaka. And your sister is Eiri (2) Tohsaka. You are half-sister. You are moving to Tokyo because your home was destroyed by the meteorite that fell near Kuroishi. The Japanese government sold you a Meiji-era house that was used to house visiting heads of state."

In fact, it was Ishtar who had asked for accommodation in accordance with her rank. For some reason, she had insisted on getting a two-story Western-style mansion. When asked about her own needs, Ereshkigal was content to say that she would live with her sister. As Kaoru had insisted, the Ruler of the Netherworld had finally admitted that she would like a large garden with lots of flowers.

Ishtar nodded.

"That's fine with me. I see you've been diligent, and I congratulate you on that."

Surprisingly, Kaoru bowed to Luo Hao.

"I must say that we could not have found such a satisfactory solution without the help of Her Eminence. King Luo Hao offered to pay for repairs around Kuroishi, and it was Her Majesty who bought this mansion deemed suitable for the accommodation of you two esteemed goddesses."

Many eyes turned to the Ruler of the Martial Art. She answered with a voice that did not betray any emotion.

"The general consensus seems to be that the fight against the goddesses Ishtar and Ereshkigal was a mistake. And that this mistake was made by this Luo Hao. A king does not shirk his responsibilities. If he has made a mistake, he must correct his mistake appropriately." (3)

Understanding she wouldn't get another excuse, Ishtar agreed without saying a word.

Uncomfortable, Godou Kusanagi listened to Sayanomiya Kaoru explain that, given the apparent age of the two goddesses and their two human companions, they would have to go to school. Oddly, neither goddess took offense. Ishtar had this perfectly evil smile that inevitably made the Japanese Godslayer shiver: "That sounds funny. I'm going to be a model student. I'm going to be polite; I'm going to be smiling. I'm going to show everybody that I'm perfect. Is it not the role of this goddess? To enlighten mortals by her example?" (4)

She literally beamed by saying these words. Goudou shuddered... he was already pitying her future classmates.

On the contrary, Ereshkigal looked away. Touching her lips with her hand, in a gesture of shyness, she spoke with a hesitant voice.

"I have never had the opportunity to live with humans... of course, I am a great and powerful goddess... and it is normal for me to behave like one... but... at the same time... I have always wanted to have friends... the Netherworld is sad and I have spent thousands of years, all alone."

It was hard to hate this goddess. She was warm and endearing... at least for an incarnation of death. She would be well accepted. Godou had no doubt about it.

"I'm glad to hear you agree. You will be enrolled in the Jounan Academy by next week. Together with Hakuno Kishinami and Shirou Emiya," Kaoru said bowing to the two goddesses.

For a moment, Goudou Kusanagi hoped to have misunderstood... Jounan Academy... his high school? Past his initial reaction of surprise (and horror), the Godslayer understood the reasoning of the Committee. With him and his 'harem' schooled at the Jounan Academy, the Committee could expect that they could watch over the two goddesses. Goudou sighed with fatalism. Of course, as Devil King, his voice was the law and he could certainly get the goddesses enrolled in another high school. But, basically, the Committee was right. If anything should go wrong... whether the goddesses are guilty or victims... it would be better if the Japanese Campione was here, ready to intervene.

Nevertheless... Goudou felt a painful lump forming in his belly. His instinct warned him that this school year was going to be the worst year of his whole life...

While Goudou faced the premonitions of catastrophes announced by the presence of Ishtar (his personal nemesis) in his high school, the time had come to separate.

Until then silent - he had in fact spoken little in the last two days- Alexander Gascoigne bowed before the goddesses and the other Campiones.

"All right, it's time for me to go back to England. King Godou, I have to go. Nevertheless, I am confident that you will manage the situation as well as possible." His gaze stopped for a moment on Athena. "In any case, I do not believe that there is another Campione capable or even willing to live in peace with three goddesses. As your older brother, it is my duty to offer you my help should things become... difficult. Please call me if you need to."

After exchanging a few words of farewell with those present, Alec got into a limousine that had come to pick him up and drove away towards an airport where a private jet was waiting for him.

Naturally, all eyes turned to Luo Hao... it was normal for her to speak at this moment... in fact, she should have even spoken before King Alec, being her eldest.

Her Eminence took three steps before turning to Godou Kusanagi.

"This Luo Hao will stay in Japan to train King Godou and allow him to correctly use his physical abilities, as well as his Authorities, I also propose to start his training in the arts of magic."

The silence lasted a few seconds before being replaced by a hubbub of confused voices.

Goudou blushed, remembering that the Ruler of the Martial Art had already informed him of her decision... while undressing to join him in his bath. Perhaps we can understand why he had trouble finding arguments to respond to at that time. Besides, the simple memory of... of the event did not help him to keep his mind clear...

"Uh... King Luo Hao... Is that really necessary?"

"Yes, it is... but this Luo Hao is grieved. Yesterday, I gave you permission to call me Onee-sama, yet you keep calling me 'King'. Aren't we brother and sister because we were both adopted by Pandora?"

Luo Hao now looked at Godou with a look that... well the kind of look that did not tolerate a 'no' as an answer.

"O...onee-sama..." did he manage to whisper in a husky voice.

"It's better, King Godou."

Ishtar watched the scene with delight trying not to laugh. Godou must have received a very special blessing at birth because, without doing anything, he captured the interest of most of the women who approached him. And 'by chance' they were always young, beautiful and a majority were not shy (quite the contrary). Godou had a life that resembled that of the main protagonist of a shounen manga.

The 'hero' Godou looked at Luo Hao with a start of panic.

"Uh... like I said I didn't understand why it was necessary for you to help me..." he added a late "onnee-sama" when he saw Luo-Hao frowning.

The Ruler of the Martial Art nodded.

"You lost your fight against the goddess Ishtar, isn't that reason enough?"

Goudou opened his mouth to answer, but Luo Hao had not finished. She began a clinical description of the fight, describing how he moved his feet or his hands, the unnecessary, ill-made movements, and the way he used his Authorities. She remembered everything! Worse, she explained each of her mistakes, methodically, listing classic parades used in identical circumstances by ancient or more recent martial art masters. Finally, Luo Hao nodded...

"I intend to make you work your balance and your movements until this Luo Hao believes that King Godou is worthy of his title of Campione."

For a few moments, Godou made an excellent imitation of a fish in the open air opening and closing desperately the mouth... seeking to say something without succeeding.

But before he could find the swift retaliation that would allow him to escape the terrifying Ruler of the Martial Art, Luo Hao turned towards a character that was standing next to Ishtar. With his arms crossed over his chest, like a bodyguard, he had not said a word since his arrival in the parking lot.

"You will not be my only student, King Godou. Shirou Emiya, you will be my second student."

The redhead with a white wick took a few seconds to understand that we were talking about him.

"Me?"

"Yes, Shirou Emiya. This Luo Hao will train you."

Shirou shrugged his shoulders and smiled ironically.

"Magnificent! I think you have memory problems, King Luo Hao. Would that be an effect of your old age? Just this morning, I told you that I would kill you if you threatened Ishtar again."

Several people there turned their eyes in amazement towards the Faker... few people would have dared to make such an open mockery of a Campione. But no one was more surprised than Ishtar. She jolted and looked at Shirou with her hand on her chest as if to contain the beating of her heart. Then the goddess turned her head, crossing her arms, feigning nonchalance and lack of interest... It might have been credible if she had not been as red as a crayfish.

"I remember it well, Shirou Emiya."

"Oh... so maybe your problem is more on the mental health side. After all, you are offering to train someone who has clearly said that he is willing to kill you."

The aggressiveness of Shirou, and his causticity, made many present looks at him as a madman. The Campiones could kill with one word. Only a suicidal individual could continually provoke the Chinese Devil King.

But the Ruler of the Martial Art showed no signs of irritation. She simply nodded.

"Exactly, I want to train someone that is willing to kill me."

The line took the Faker by surprise. forgetting his aggressive tone, he looked at her without understanding.

"Sorry?"

"Right now, you wouldn't be able to defend Ishtar. If I decided to attack the goddess, you'd be an embarrassment to her. It is the honorable goddess Ishtar who would be obliged to defend you and not the other way around. Does that seem tolerable to you?"

Shirou's jaw became tense.

"No. But I think you're underestimating me. I can beat you."

Luo Hao had a radiant smile that made Shirou blink... again taken out of this pad. He understood nothing about the Chinese woman's reactions. He remained silent as China's Freakishly Strong Girl bowed politely to Ishtar.

"Noble Goddess of Venus, this Luo Hao asks permission to confront your servant Shirou Emiya. This Luo Hao promises that the confrontation will not endanger your servant."

Ishtar was very interested in this idea. But she hesitated.

"What would be the rules?"

"Noble goddess, I don't want to bully Shirou Emiya. It will be enough for your servant to touch me once to win. As for me, I should make him touch the ground of his shoulders twenty times or immobilize it to win."

Ishtar blinked... the winning conditions were foolishly unbalanced... Luo Hao was so disadvantaged that she seemed to wish for her own defeat. This she seemed to confirm by finishing the statement of rules.

"I would only use my martial arts skills. Neither authorities nor magic. Shirou Emiya will have no restrictions."

Actually, the term 'disadvantaged' was not the right word. Ishtar had faced Luo Hao. The Mistress of Heaven had a good idea of the strength of this Campione. She also knew that Luo Hao had briefly faced Shirou, she had also seen him training. So she must have had a good idea of the redhead's strength. The Ruler of the Martial Art had simply proposed rules that made the fight interesting for her. That's all.

The Goddess of Venus turned to the Faker. He had listened to these insane rules with disbelief.

"Shirou... I'm warning you right now. Don't think this fight is going to be easy. It's the opposite. King Luo Hao is very strong, physically, but especially technically. These rules are just to compensate for your difference in level. Do you think you can win? Should I accept the challenge of the Godslayer?"

Since his arrival, Shirou had continually felt as if his mind was blurred and his thought process was slowed down. As if he was trapped in an absurd nightmare. Every time he wanted to do something or say something, contradictory thoughts were rushing through his head.

Each time, it took several seconds to decide what to do, and what to say.

This time was no exception.

Finally, he nodded his head...

The redhead teen hoped this fight would do him good, help him clear the fog that slowed him down.

Erica Blandelli was chosen as the referee.

In her beautiful red dress, her long blond hair falling on her shoulders, she was truly adorable. Smiling, she raised one arm.

"Ready? All right... start!"

Shirou held out his hands.

"Trace On!"

In a whirlpool of blue particles, Kanshou and Bakuya appeared. He grabbed the Married Blades and started running around Luo Hao.

The Campione simply turned on herself, following him with her eyes. She did not come en garde.

As always the redhead was experimenting with two overlapping patterns of thought. 'Shirou' thought that Luo Hao underestimated him so much that she didn't even bother to warn herself. On the other hand, 'Archer' knew that some martial arts (such as Viet Vo Dao) advised coming en garde only at the last moment to leave his opponent in the dark about his abilities and techniques.

Of course, Archer was right, but he lost a few seconds with these stray thoughts... fortunately, Luo Hao remained in wait...

Shirou threw his two sabers at the young Chinese girl. He obviously didn't expect to touch her. It was just a diversion.

Luo Hao jumped and contortioned in the air. Her foot struck a sword, deflecting it towards the ground. Simultaneously, her fist struck the second sword.

However, Shirou was very fast. He had rushed into contact. He had Traced two more swords, simultaneously targeting Luo's throat and hip.

But the martial freak had been even faster.

Shirou realized suddenly that she was inside the perimeter of his blades and that she was raising both arms, deflecting his own arms upwards.

Before he could react, Luo Hao had continued the movement she had initiated, spreading Shiro's arms and then lowering her arm... compelling him to do the same.

Suddenly turning around, the Campione grabbed the two wrists of the redhead, lifted them up, and gathered them over her head, before plucking his legs with a sweep and... throwing him to the ground.

Stunned... Shirou opened large bug eyes, realizing that his shoulders had touched the ground. He had just been thrown to the ground like a dirty laundry bag.

The confrontation lasted five seconds, hardly more.

"Ju-jitsu" simply says Her Eminence.

As stunned as the other spectators, Erica blinked several times before raising her hand.

"One point for King Luo Hao."

Erica Blandelli asked the two opponents to separate, then gave the signal for the second round.

Shirou decided not to venture near the Campione.

"Trace On!"

His black bow appeared and he simultaneously drew several translucent prana arrows, pulling at an incredible speed toward Luo Hao.

But the Campione was faster still. She appeared like a fuzzy form, dodging attacks and getting closer and...

Shirou blinked... realizing that the Devil King had just appeared right next to him. He let go of his bow.

"Trace..."

He didn't have time to finish.

She had just grabbed him at the collar while kicking him in the back of the knee.

He fell to his knees and found himself strangled, unable to complete his incantation. He grabbed the young woman's arms, but even though he had Strengthened his muscles before the fight began, he was unable to make her let go.

"This is the second form of Hadaka-jime, a form of strangulation used in Jiu-jitsu," said Luo Hao. "You can't talk or move. You have lost."

Erica raised her arm.

"One point for Her Eminence," concludes the knight.

Massaging his throat, Shirou glanced furiously at Luo Hao. Until then, she had dominated him with the facility of an adult dominating a child...the voice of reason (which had strangely the intonations of that of Archer) answered him that Luo Hao was more than 250 years old... objectively Shirou Emiya was only a child compared to her.

Doing some quick breathing exercises, Shirou chased anger to focus.

Well, attacking the Devil King from a distance was doomed to failure, she was faster than his arrows or his swords.

"Trace On!"

In a whirlwind of prana appeared... Caliburn, the magnificent coronation sword of King Arthur.

It was the first time Shirou Traced it... but it was the first blade that EMIYA had successfully Traced.

This time Shirou was really serious and Luo Hao come en garde, arms in a classic karate posture, legs a little bent.

When Shirou raised the sword of gold and steel to launch a classic diagonal fencing attack, she intercepted and immobilized his dominant arm, slipping one hand under the arm to press on Shirou's face... surprised by this strange technique, he lost a second or two to retaliate... and found himself on his knees while the Campione twisted his arm, forcing him to let go of Caliburn, before pushing Shirou back and immobilizing him on the ground.

"Eskrima," explained the Devil King with a smile...

Archer's mocking voice resounds in Shirou's brain... the Kell Amis Eskrima was a Filipino martial art using the crossing of arms to provoke dislocations.

Ereshkigal and Hakuno watched the fight in disbelief... although the youngest girl kept a perfect poker face.

Shirou was unable to deliver a hit... even once!

He kept coming back to the attack, using Gae Bolg, then Durandal, before returning to Kanshou and Bakuya...

Luo Hao counters all attacks by using various techniques: Wing Chung Kung Fu, karate Shito-ryu, Vo Dao, Qin-na, Yama-Arashi Ju-jutsu...

Inevitably, Shirou ended up on the ground or immobilized.

[I could help Shirou] Hakuno Kishinami began. [I could show him when to attack.]

Ereshkigal smiled mockingly.

[He won't listen to you.]

Hakuno makes a Head Tilt without realizing that several members of the Committee were choking...

[Why?]

[Because he is determined to fail on his own rather than succeed with the help of another.]

[Why?]

Ereshkigal sighed. How to explain things like pride, blindness, desire to prove something to himself...

[Excess testosterone impairs brain function, typical of boys his age.]

Now Shirou only used Kanshou and Bakuya... after all, he was ambidextrous and knew how to use the Twin Blades better than most weapons in his arsenal.

When Shirou attacked head-on, Luo Hao had a sad smile. The redhead was no longer even trying to imagine a tactic to defeat her. He simply threw himself forward trying again and again to hit her. As if obstinacy could compensate for the lack of technique.

She deflected Shirou's right arm, hitting his wrist and striking his chest with her other hand. As she forced the teenager to pivot, she passed through his back to be out of reach of the sword that the young man held in his left hand. The secret of martial arts is that, in the end, humans are very primary machines, with articulations that allow only very limited movements... deflect the blows, unbalance the opponent, going behind his back... there were so many ways to neutralize a human.

Then Luo Hao hit the back of the Faker's knee without letting go of his arm.

As Shirou fell to the ground, the Campione concluded with a rather violently punched in his face, hitting hard enough so he can hear bells ringing.

"Vo Dao, Son Nham (Phoenix of the Mountain)School ."

Erica raised her arm.

"An extra point for Her Eminence... is the twentieth point. Shirou Emiya lost. The winner is King Luo Hao."

As the redhead rose, the Godslayer saluted his opponent.

"Shirou Emiya, can you read?"

The question surprised the teenager.

"Of course."

She nodded.

"And at school your teachers made you read classics of literature?"

"Uh... yes..."

"What would you think if I told you about a man who claimed to write the greatest masterpiece of literature and, without ever having read a whole book, he would create his 'masterpiece of literature' by putting end to end a few lines taken in different books?"

Shirou rubbed the back of his neck.

"_ that he's a thief and the result will be a slap in the face?"

"That's exactly what you're doing."

As he looked at her bug-eyed, Luo Hao sighed.

'You pointed out that I was very arrogant this morning. But, after becoming a Campione, I spent a century traveling all over Asia to train with the greatest masters. It was only after I had no longer found a teacher capable of teaching me new things that I began to teach other people. You, on the other hand, think you're so brilliant that you refuse to learn from anyone. You are entirely dependent on the fighting styles that you imitate with your magic. But, there is nothing in your fighting technique that comes from you."

Author's note: EMIYA is a hell of a warrior... but all the techniques he uses are self-taught or stolen with the Traced copies of other Heroes' Noble Phantasm. I asked myself a simple question. And if the best martial art teacher makes him his student... What would he have become?

(1) To sign an official document or receipt of a postal package Japanese use a seal bearing their name in ideograms. This seal is an important piece of identification.

(2) Eiri is a true female Japanese first name, and ( for a Japanese) it is almost pronounced as 'Ere', short for Ereshkigal.

(3 And yes Alec has managed to make Luo Hao solely responsible for everything that happened. He's a good talker, and when he went looking for Godou, Black Prince Alec has not forgotten to tell the whole story in a way that is favorable to him.

(4) In fact, Ishtar makes a pun that requires a good knowledge of Mesopotamian mythology to be understood. The statues of Ishtar often show the goddess carrying two torches... reminding her of her stay in Kur (the Sumerian afterlife) after her death at the hands of Ereshkigal. Because of that, Ishtar being among other things the psychopomp goddess of Mesopotamian mythology, the goddess that guides men to Kur, walks before them and lights the way... And like Ishtar, men can hope for resurrection (in the Mesopotamian religion, resurrection is not won by good deeds in life... but by the offerings offered after death by the family of the deceased... which recalls the resurrection of Ishtar herself because the god Dummezi offers his life in exchange of his wife Ishtar).
