"Full fuel tank, All manual systems operating and running the best it can" Rocky claimed from a safe distance, his friends by his side as Laika as well. All of them marveled at the small but mighty rocket Infront of them.
"According to my data the meteor shower should begin in less than two minutes" he said.
"So this is it, This is where we part was and say our goodbyes" Laika sighed as she clutched her space helmet, shined and polished to the best of it's ability.
"It felt like yesterday were cursing us out for being 'Fat Americans', Time flies so fast" Everest said, whipping a lone blue tear from her eye.
"I will admit, this time I've been here, Everything I've seen and everyone I've met, I'm afraid I'll never see you all again. I know I shrugged it off in past, but I understand now" Laika express, turning her back to the rocket and toward what she would also consider, her friends.
"Awww Laika, we feel the same way, But apart from life know when to say hello and when to say goodbye" Skye remarked, her quote striking a heart string in everyone's chest as they all knew it was time for a final goodbye.
"I guess you're right, Skye and Marshall, hope you two have a great life together" she said to the two, as both smiled and hugged one another.
"Chase, with your kind of attitude and maturity, you'll take the mantle of this team pretty soon, keep it up" Chase nodded in respect as she passed onto the next.
"Rubble, slow down the eating, it isn't going anywhere" Rubble perked up a smile before receiving a solid pat on the back by the space dog about to embark on her voyage through the stars once more.
"Zuma, As the Americans would say, keep on catching those sick waves" Laika egged on, shaking his side as the two engaged in a fierce show on comradery.
"Will do" he responded before moving onto the final dog. Rocky, both locked eyes for a bit, both emotionless before seeing Laika wrap her paws around him, Rocky shook in his body for a short second before receiving a short pat on the back.
"Rocky, I can't tell you how grateful I am to meet a person like you while I was here, out of all you, you're going to be the one I think about" Laika compliment with a smile as she walked off up the incline of the hill, right as she stood atop of it, right next to her rocket. "Give Katie and Everyone else my best!" She shouted with a long wave.
"Досвидания, мои друзья" (Goodbye my dear friends) she followed up with as she walked up the ramp, She looked all around clear identified where her seat was, but whole thing was just a marvel of engineering truly.
Rocky truly outdid himself with this one. "Laika can you hear me?" Suddenly his voice came right over the center console.
"Mhm" Laika responded, taking her seat as she says before a large selection of buttons that glowed and beeped every second. Laika was confident enough to figure this all out on her first try, fortunately for her she was going to need to.
"Most of the buttons on the console are wired to other parts of the rocket, not the controls so don't worry. I will remote control the rocket for lift off, then I'll switch it to manual."
"Got it" Laika responded.
"Great, so buckle up and get ready for lift off" Laika said, turning around her space helmet as she slipped her head right in. It was just as nostalgic as she remembered.
"Stand by for launch!" Rocky shouted to Laika over the console and to his friends standing beside him. All scrambled to get as far away as they could.
Laika looked out from a small window, even it was from a distance, she could still see her friends scattering away from the site.
"Look, it's starting!" Marshall shouted into the air with paw extended outward, all looked above to see a hail of meteors passing by a great distance from the earth, but good enough to see.
Laika looked out the window as well to see the beautiful sight, before suddenly ship itself rocked slightly and rattled, its boosts were engaged, and fire underneath burned with a passion.
Soon enough, the force outdid its weight, and it was airborne. Everyone on the ground cheered and waved as the rocket spiraled upward, still being remote controlled by Rocky.
Laika held tight into her seat, she bounced up and down hard with the force of a strike. Her entire body rocked violently as she tried to focus her vision outside, seeing her craft being propelled into the atmosphere with flames in the night sky coming out.
"Laika, Grab the stick in front of you, I'm turning off remote control and switching it to manual" Rocky stated, Laika reverting her attention to the control stick in front of her. Grabbing it fiercely, holding it straight as she saw a collection of buttons and lights with the rocket start to dim and fade out.
"There you go Laika, now just steer yourself to the time hole, it should be somewhere near you."
"I see it!" Laika shouted, shifting the rocket to her right as she was dead ahead in the path of the time portal. She was slowly approaching it as the outer rim of the portal glowed an array of colours that were candy to the eyes.
Laika calmed her breathe as she starred directly at the time portal, her old memories flashed before her eyes as suddenly, a piece of paper slowly flew right in front of her, the zero gravity made it blatant, letting the picture walk around her at a snail pace before grabbing it herself.
Looking at it closer to see it was t just some paper that found itself in Laika's line of sight. It was a picture, a picture of her and Rocky that he had given to her as a gift, a gift of his friendship.
Laika clutched the singular photograph, looking back at the portal she was destined to hit at any moment now.
"Do you think she went thwough by now?" Zuma asked, looking up as he was going to get some sort of sign.
"I dunno, Laika, did you make it?"
"…"
Rocky brought his head back suddenly, a bit confused at the sudden lack of noise on the other end, it was quiet, too quiet.
"Laika?"
"…"
"Laika, you okay?"
"…"
"Laika, please don't tell me this is some last-minute joke, are you alright?"
"…"
Rocky stepped back, looking up at the sky just as Zuma did. All started to notice, his breathing became more and more spastic, more uncontrollably and more violent.
"Rocky dude, Chill, I'm sure she's alright" Marshall tried to reassure the mixed breed, staying by his side as Rubble starred up into the night sky, sporting something familiar.
"Hey Rocky, remember last time when you said there was no such thing as a growing meteor?"
"Yeah, but what does that have to do with-"Rocky asked before looking up into the night sky as well, amidst with the distant meteors passing the earth, came a flame ball of fire coming down to the earth.
The sight and feeling were all too familiar, bursting and burning throughout the sky as he drew itself down to the earth, the shockwave sending shivers down even the farthest animals, crashing a distance away not like last time, but into the sea off Adventure Bay's beach.
"C'mon guys!" Rocky shouted as he ran full sprint down to the beach, the rest shared his feeling of worry and followed him down. By the time they got down there, the town was awake and had decided to investigate themselves.
A large crowd gathered on the beach side, looking off in the distance to the wreckage of the rocket now a smoldering scattered pieces of metal all over.
"Was it a plane?"
"I don't think so."
"Do you think there are survivors?"
"I wouldn't bet on it."
Multiple people started to ask all around to their neighbours and themselves before Paw Patrol finally arrived. Rocky slid down to the bottom but stopped here and the tide came in.
Starting at the burning pieces of rocket and fuel that everyone else saw. Rocky fell to the ground in defeat, knowing the most likely outcome of Laika's survivability.
"Wait, I see something moving!" Someone, pointedout to the water as Rocky raised to his head to look. He was right, there was something in the water trying desperately to keep itself afloat, going up and down constantly.
"It must be her, Zuma can you go out and get her?!" Ryder asked turning to the chocolate Labrador, only for him to shrug.
"I can't, I don't have my geaw, It's incwedibly wisky" Zuma said before seeing an unexpected sight, both being pushed out of the way by Rocky. Seeing him run into the water with no hesitation and immediately start to swim out as fast as he could.
Paddling like not his life, but another Life depended on it.
"Woah did-did Rocky just…" Skye pointed out in disbelief of her own eyes. "Yes, Yes he just did" Chase commented as well.
"You go Rocky, Keep going!" Everest shouted with loud words of encouragement, seeing the mixed breed continue out forcefully out to the open sea. With moments she was face to face with her.
He could see her drowning, struggling to keep her head above water with all that weight of her space suit in her. Rocky toward her, but just before seeing her entire body fall faint as all her limbs just gave it to the tide.
Falling beneath the water, letting small pops of air through bubbles wiggle their way up to the top. Rocky looked in horror as he hesitated for a second looking down into the water, taking in a deep breath before diving right under.
Officially his worst day that he'd have to actually go swim in the sea, but actually go beneath it, but in terms of saving Laika. It was worth it.
He plunged himself downward, stretching out his paws in front of him in a rapid pace to catch up with the mixed breed before her body was lost.
As he got closer and closer, he reached out, grabbing a firm grip onto her suit. Above all, Rocky was running out of time and oxygen. He desperately yanked her body up continuously repeatedly. The weight of her total mass was just too much, but he had to keep trying.
His paws were soar and eyes burned from the constant exposure to sea water. He powered through like a trooper in battle, refusing to let up before he finally emerged from the sea level. Gasping for air as he reached up, looking back at Laika, her body hung limp and her head was down. Water poured out of her nose and mouth, but she showed no sign of being conscious.
Rocky swam to shore, one paw holding onto Laika and the other bringing him forward. Fortunately, the tide was with him, as it continuously pushed him forward each time, finally reaching the beach side. Slowly walking onto the beach as others surrounded him, including his friends.
"Rocky that was amazing!" Rubble acknowledged.
"Yeah, not only did you face your fears like a champ, but you also saved Laika" Marshall stated as well, seeing their engineering friend pay them no mind with their compliments, only laying down on the sand against his back before closing his eyes.
"T-Thanks" he softly muttered before turning silent.
Their concerns shifted suddenly as Laika started to cough and hick rapidly, her body revolted shortly bust as pool of water rushed out from with her, shooting out from her mouth before she too feels silent, right next to Rocky.
Laika slowly pried her eyes open with a soft groan of pain. Her eyes revealed a very familiar bright room, she was turned to her side with a small metal bowl right below her mouth, half filled with murky sea water that dripped from her mouth while she was out cold.
"W-What, K-Katie?" she managed to muster, lifting her head from off the examination table that was covered with multiple rolls of towels.
Katie glanced over at her, just a few feet away as she looked up at the ground in a state of worry, but in a state of relief.
"Oh yes yes yes, I knew some big crash and water couldn't hold you down."
"What happened, where's everyone else, I need to tell them something" Laika requested, unbeknownst to her they were closer than anticipated.
"We're already here Laika" Ryder said, walking into the room with the rest of Paw Patrol by his side. All but one.
"Hold on where's Rocky?" Laika asked, first noticing when he wasn't apart of the group. Right as she did, the dog of the hour walked in. His fur was all frizzed and damp from his vigorous swim to save Laika.
"You look like hell, what happened?" Laika asked, reference all the indifferences along his body that he certainly wasn't born with.
"He saved you Laika, he swam out offshore when your rocket crashed into the sea" Skye replied.
"Really, wow, I don't know what to say, Thank you Rocky" Laika said with a smile, however Rocky didn't return the favour. Holding head down with shame as he did something unspeakable.
"You shouldn't be thanking me Laika, I should be apologizing to you" Rocky surprisingly stated, gaining the attention of everyone and their curiosity.
"For what?" Laika asked.
"I just don't get it; The Rocket should be flawless. There must have been some sort of wiring issue. I put your life in danger over done dumb mistake I must have made."
"Rocky, I need to tell you something. In fact, You all need to know something" Laika replied, feeling false guilty of everyone in the room.
Everyone looked up at her, not expecting the next words to come out of her mouth to shock everyone. "That crash wasn't an accident or a mistake in the rocket, It was me, I purposely crashed it back here" She suddenly spoke.
All had gasped at the thought, why would Laika come back, all she ever wanted to do was leave back to her time. "B-But why?" Marshall asked.
"I did it because truly, this is my home now" Laika stated, looking amongst her friends at the same time. "I have never received this must love and care from anyone in my life, I was a poor dog on the streets of Moscow with no family, Even when the Government took me in to use me in their space program. It wasn't any different, they weren't a group of friends to me, just a bunch of scientists looking for results."
"For the first time in my life, this is the place where I belong, and as long as you are all around with me, I don't think that's ever going to change" The whole room started to tear up, hearing Laika's true emotions and her story.
Suddenly, marching toward her to give her one big simultaneous hug. All reach up to the table where Laika was laying on. "Ouch Ouch" Laika hyped, seeing all of them back up as she yelped in pain. Seeing Katie stepping in after, with a small bottom of medicine to administer. "I guess those hugs and pats are going to have to wait, you're going to have to stay here for a while Laika"
"I can live with that, When back on my feet, no pain and all gain, That's where my real life starts" Laika stated proudly seeing all of her friends nod in understanding, her body took one hell of a beating after the crash, probably best to let Laika's body rest for the time being.
"Alright Laika, But we'll absolutely check up on you every day" Ryder proclaimed with a swing of his fist, knowing it was a guarantee by the Leader instead of a maybe. "I appreciate it" Laika responded, seeing all of them turn around and head towards the door. All moved ahead of each other except for one, Rocky stopped in his tracks before turning around back to her.
"Hey Laika, Can I ask you something?" Rocky asked.
"What is it?"
"Well its…something I wanted to ask you before you left, actually its more of a confession than a question to be honest with you"
"Well…What did you want to say?" Laika pressed, not knowing the severity and weight of what the confession was about. Rocky chocked and stumbled over his own words, wanting to start a new sentence but his mind changing it ever time he opened his mouth, for him not to look like a complete fool with a bubbling speech.
"J-Just don't eat up all the pizza where you're here Haha" Rocky awkwardly chuckled, shuffling himself briskly out the door at a fast pace, wanting to get out before he made things worse. He couldn't deny it, he made things worse.
"Ummm, Okay?" Laika muttered, looking back at Katie for some extra commentary. "What was that about?" She asked. "Wait, you don't know, Isnt it obvious?" Katie commented, unraveling medical cloth from a small bind.
"Obvious, How Obvious?"
"Oh boy, I guess you'll just have to learn for yourself then" Katie said, motioning for Laika to lift her paw just a little bit. Wrapping a small wad of medical cloth around it. Laika scoffed when not being told a supposedly obvious thing she should have noticed, resting her head against the table before feeling a small rumble in her stomach which everyone on the planet knew very well.
"Lemme guess, you're hungry" Katie stated, hearing the rumble. Granted not being very far from the mixed breed but being significant to hear less. Laika nodded in response, Katie placed down the cloth before digging into her pocket to retrieve her phone, signing right onto the branded pizza website.
"Alright, what toppings you want?" Katie asked, being Laika could answer. Suddenly the whole room went dark. The lights all sudden ceased with their activity, all electronics plugged in that emitted like had met the same fate. Both Laika and Katie looked around in a bit of a shock, recognizing this sort of this isn't common, but nevertheless, they do happen when you least expect it.
"Don't worry, just a simple power cut, Let me go and check the breaker just to be sure" Katie said, using her phone as a light to guide her to be back parts of her Veterinarian Building, leaving Laika in the darkness. Which didn't really her all that much, However the silence got to her.
Laika grew weary as the darkness went on for too long. Especially the silence that came with it. "Katie, did you fix it?" She asked, however, not hearing anything in response. "Katie?" She asked once more, lifting her head up from left to right to try and see where she could have gone.
Suddenly, The sound of Katie's blood curdling scream tears through the air. Laika's ears flip up in flashed response. Looking down the hallway where it had come from.
"Katie, I'm on my way!" Laika shouted back in hopes whatever happened, she was coming to help, and the Veterinarian would hear it. Laika stood up from the table, leaping down onto the floor.
Standing before the dark hallway before seeing a bright light shine out. "Katie!"
"There she is, I think I see her!" an unfamiliar voice shouted out from the hallway, seeing the flash of light start to come closer and be one brighter.
Laika suddenly dodged fiercely to the side, throwing herself into the corner of the room. Spotting a small table, turning it onto its side so she was properly covered. Sticking her head up above to see a cat, running into the dark semi illuminated room, with a flashlight in one paw and an automatic rifle in the other.
"Found her?" Another voice shouted from nearby from down the hall, asking his fellow compatriot. "No, I guess it was just some shadow and noise from outside, Damn" He shrugged, shining his flashlight around the room but seeing nothing of interest to him. Turning himself around and looking back down the hallway, getting out of the way as Laika observed many other cats coming before him. All unfamiliar to Laika, except for one that struck a light in Laika's brain.
Pebbles, The orange cat, the one had left imprint on Laika for so long was back, this time not a care for being seen. "You, what are you doing here?" Laika whispered to herself as Pebbles observed the room, slowly walking over to the table that Laika had been on. Examining its surface before coming to his own conclusion.
"She was here, her scent is still fresh, Bring her in Lucky!" Pebbles turned back to the Hallway, motion his paw for his closest ally to bring forth what they had. What came next shocked Laika, Katie came out of the hallway, her hands tied behind her back with Zip ties and above all, a small bruise across her face and eye. Looking down at the ground, refusing to make any eye contact.
Whether it be out of shame or fear of being struck once more, behind Katie stood Lucky, Holding his automatic rifle to her back. Suddenly, smacking Katie with the barrel of the rifle against her knee, forcefully making her kneel. Katie looked up from the floor to see Pebbles, starring right back at her.
"I'm not in the mood for games or tricks, So I'll make this quick…Where is she" Pebbles commanded for her location, Laika looked on as he knew he was talking about her, and her fate would rely on Katie at this point. "W-Who?" Katie asked, She wasn't dumb, She knew who he was talking about, but thinking you can fool your enemy sometimes isn't the best idea.
Pebbles snarled and hissed, quickly retracting his talons in one swift motion as he sliced them right across Katie's cheek. Laika was livid, her blood boiled at the cruel sight. She could jump and save her, but in the best interest of her life and Katie's. It was best to remain unseen. No matter how gruesome things would get. Katie's tensed up her muscles and get nerves, keeping her head face down but simultaneously looking to her side, seeing Laika in the corner, her head peaking out from above the turned over table.
"Don't do that, don't try anything like that again, just tell me where she is and we can save each a whole lot of time, and such you a lot less pain" Pebbles incentivized to the Veterinarian, whipping off the small patches of blood across her cheek that he had inflicted just seconds before.
"Okay Okay, I'll tell you!" Katie shouted, gaining the proper attention of Pebbles who started to smile. Laika started to breathe rapidly, it was really going to be the end for her after all. "She went with Paw Patrol back to the Tower; It was about ten or fifteen minutes ago" She falsely confessed.
"You think she's telling the truth?" Lucky asked right over to Pebbles, The Orange feline patted Katie's head in dominant way as he shrugged over to Lucky. "I'd wager she wouldn't risk her life for some commie dog, I guess we missed that mutt by a few minutes" Pebbles stated, motioning for his men to follow him out the door.
"Tell the others near the Tower to bring Laika to me, I want to look that dog in the eyes as I strangle the life out of her. As for us, I guess we can head on down to the town hall and see what we can get up to" Pebbles said, walking out the front door of the Vet building, Lucky and small handful of cats also following behind.
Laika watched as they all left, waiting a few seconds after before hoping over the table and running over to Katie to check on her. "Oh my gosh Katie, Are you okay?" She frantically asked. "Y-Yeah, Im fine, Who were those guys, Do you know them?"
"One of them, That Orange one, You know him too, Ryder brought him in the day I crash landed here" Laika recalled to her. "I think so, What do they want with you?" Katie asked once more.
"To kill me I guess, which means I need to make it to the tower before they meetup with the rest of the group" Laika stated, knowing that they met up with paw patrol, it would surely be a more violent encounter.
"Be careful out there Laika, Go wherever you can to avoid being seen by them. I'll try get somewhere safe in the meantime" Katie urged the mixed breed, bringing close to her a small box filled with medical supplies to treat her face wound too.
Laika nodded before turning around, toward the front door that was creased open slightly. She held the door before looking back at Katie and smiling, knowing this could be her last time seeing her if all doesn't go to plan.
Nevertheless, she pushed forward metaphorically speaking, slowly peaking her head out the door to look up and down and across the street. Her worst fears came true as there were much more of them. Not a whole lot to consider an army, but enough to make Laika think more cautiously than before.
Seeing a small group of cats across the road, armed with rifles stacked up behind a residential house. Bursting inside screaming after shooting open the door lock. Inside Laika could hear screams men, women and children. Frightened at the sudden invasion of their home.
Thankfully hearing no gunshots as Laika reminded herself, thinking they were here just to kill but find and kill her. Laika dashed quickly into a nearby alley before any eyes could be set onto her, looking back and forth along the street as she saw more and more cats. Dawned in rigs and chest plates, running toward her direction.
Laika's heart stopped as she saw the approaching company, ducking herself into a filth of trash right beside her. The Cats stopped at the center of the alley way, one cat turning to his fellow brethren with a commanding posture. "Alright, listen up, Just because Commander Pebbles said she might be in the that Tower, doesn't mean she could be around here something. Skim this whole town if you must, but don't kill anyone that doesn't need to be killed, Pebbles and Lucky will have our asses if any innocent American blood is spilled, Do I make myself clear?"
He asked, as all of them stood at attention side by side with one another "Yes" they all shouted in unison, before taking of in their original direction. Laika couldn't understand much about their attentions, but for that didn't matter. All that mattered was that she was on the chopping block, and she had to move. The best bet would be to follow the nearest main road out of Adventure Bay. Just to run and don't look back, save herself.
She heard it herself, she was the target, not anyone else. However, she wasn't just going to leave a problem like this. She had to do something, only fools fight alone. She had to link up with the rest of Paw Patrol, first to see if they were okay and taken down Pebbles.
Laika slowly crawled out from inside the piles of garbage, her fur covered in sloppy juices from wasted food and tossed out items. It was gruesome sure, but it had to be done in the moment. Laika took Katie's advice and looked up above to the roof tops, her perfect concealment for moving up and downtown. Laika hopped up on a gutter drain that led up to a roof and started to climb.
Making her way up in no time, walking across the edge of the roof to look down. It wasn't a tall building, just a one-story architecture, but it was better than running up and down the sidewalk like a maniac looking to get caught. Laika ran from roof top to roof top, feeling the wind against her fur and letting it smack her in the face. In no time she came within rock throwing distance of the town hall. Its lights lit up as usual but there was no life ahead, only death awaited.
A large numbers of cats were seen outside the Courts house, the rifles posted up all around looking at anything that moved in the distance, giving Laika the firm idea to keep her head down and mouth shut.
"Look here Boys, I think I found us a tool for finding that dog" Suddenly the black cat, Lucky, proclaimed from the top steps of the town hall, right at the frame of the door to the inside. Lucky reached in to grab a young lady, the mayor herself.
Grabbing her by the label of her suit and violently shoving her down the steps of the town hall. She tumbled all the way down, her body striking every slab of concrete and brick with it.
Finally falling to the solid ground, where she attempted to get back up, looking back behind her to see Lucky slowly taking his time down the steps unlike he did with Mayor Goodway.
"Pebbles isnt here right now, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be any nicer. I'm no good cop, I can promise you that" Lucky said, delivering a small strike to the mayor's side, forcing her back to the group.
"W-Who's Pebbles?" She asked, immediately striking a nerve the black feline. Slamming the butt of his rifle into her back. "I don't recall asking you a damn thing, you answer my questions" He shouted.
"We're on the hunt for a space dog that crashed here, about a week ago. About medium in build, mongrel type, female, got a few scars across the body, ring any bells?" He asked, but truly she knew it was no question, more like a demand.
"I-I don't know" She pleaded, whipping the blood that stained on her lip from the fall. Lucky sighed as he motioned for his fellow felines behind him. "Go get it" Lucky suspiciously commanded, seeing the cat run inside the town hall only to come back with none other than the Mayor's pet chicken.
"Quite weird of a Mayor to have a chicken for a friend, but it's a free country. I'll cut right to it, You tell me where…what's her name…Laika, or else after all this is over, My boys and I will be having fried chicken" Lucky threated, holding the chicken by its throat a few inches of the groan. "Paw Patrol is going to be here any second, and you're going to wish you never step foot it-" She verbally shot back at the cat, a bold move indeed from where she was.
However, she was cut off suddenly as they both saw a massive fireball ignite in the corner of their eyes atop a familiar hill, The Lookout has burst into flames with its top being the patient zero. "Looks like my boys already took care of them by the looks of it, I reckon that tower will come down in the next few hours. Now, You said Paw Patrol was going to do what?" Lucky asked once more with a smug grin. Laika look on as well, looking up at the Tower that was no in flames, in her mind only hearing the cries and screams of her friends, a horror she couldn't face.
Mayor Goodway remained silent; her head turned toward the ground. Lucky reached around, pressing a small button on a radio that was strapped to his side. "This is Lucky, Did you take care of Paw Patrol"
"Negative, We set the tower on fire, but we found no trace of them when we got here, Still looking though, over and out" He heard back, He sighed know that were still alive and still very much a threat. "Ha, Paw Patrol is still coming, I know it" She exclaimed to the cat. Laika hearing as well, feeling a sense of relief Paw Patrol wasn't harmed in the fire, but it was only a matter of time just like her, they were going to be caught.
"Maybe, but they won't make it far, But either way you shouldn't be worry about them, worry about someone else you care about" Lucky reminded, wiggling the small chicken in his paws. "NO PLEASE, DON'T HURT HER, I DON'T ANYTHING ABOUT WHO YOU WANT" She pleaded with the black feline, seeing him look directly in her eyes as she did.
"You're lucky I can tell the difference between someone saying things and someone telling the truth" Lucky tossed the chicken off to his side without remorse. "Lock her up somewhere" Lucky instructed to his soldiers, taking hold of the Mayor and dragging her back up the Town Hall to make sure she couldn't go anywhere.
Lucky sighed in exhaustion and frustration, pacing in circles as he wondered his next move to find her. Laika looked on as she saw the full extent of their damage and sudden influence. "Keep this square locked down, I'm going to link up with Pebbles at the police station" Lucky stated, walking down the sidewalk. Laika eyed the cat casually pacing down the side of the road as if he didn't just try and torture someone.
"I bet if I tailed him, I'd have an idea of where to find Paw Patrol" Laika softly muttered to herself. As she moved along the far side of the roof, following close by Lucky on his desperate search for the Laika, unbeknownst to him all he had to do was look up to see her. As Laika paced along the side of the roof, loose dust and gravel she began to kick up and kick off the roof unconsciously to her. Letting it fall onto Lucky's path.
"The hell?" Lucky commented, feeling small rocks fall just inches away from him that dust seep into his fur. Laika quickly back away from the side of the roof just as Lucky looked up, seeing nothing in his way. The black cat scoffed, thinking it was just the universe screwing with him that some point in time. The mixed breed brushed off a pound of worry off her chest, think she could have been found.
Within Moments, Lucky arrived at the police station, resembling a close site back at the town hall. Cats all over with Rifles and Kits of Equipment strapped to their side. All the same to himself except for one orange cat standing outside the station, holding a police officer by his shirt.
"Found her?" Pebbles asked, after looking to his side and seeing Lucky. Lucky shrugged with the face of agitation. "Well just keep searching, I was just having a small chat with this cop" He said.
"Cmon man, you don't have to do this"
"I'm not gonna hurt you, I just want to keep you safe and out of our way, I respect our brave men and women in blue, so long as you don't get in our way or something stupid" Pebbles said with a wicked smile, tossing the police officer a side gently to one of his compadres. "Lock him in a patrol car like the rest of them" Pebbles ordered.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go in there and execute some convicts in the Jail" Pebbles said, as he started to walk up the stairs of the Police Department. Suddenly, the radio on his side started to buzz and emit a voice.
"Sir, I think we found something at the Tower" The voice mentioned, Pebbles reaching around to response within an instant. "Did you find her?" He immediately asked back. "No, but we found something else I think you're going to want to see" He responded.
"Roger that, I'm on my way" Pebbles said, walking back down the stairs as he tossed Lucky a pair of keys. "Lucky, drive, to the Tower" He ordered, jogging his way to a nearby police cruiser. Lucky nodded in response as he did the same, hopping into the driver's seat. Igniting the engine and driving away on the road to the Tower.
"W-What, what did they find?" Laika asked as she watched the stolen law enforcement vehicle drive away. Laika started to ponder about where else to go, All the obvious places she could have looked at first were well too dangerous. She knew she couldn't just throw her paws up and surrender, that was out of the question. She was a fighter, not a quitter, no matter who stood in her way.
All of sudden, Laika heard gun fire at the Town hall, she feared the worst for innocent people as she gasped. As gunfire was loud, everyone else heard within the vicinity as well. "Hey, that sounded like it came from town hall!" One of the cats said from down below, expressing to his colleagues in crime.
As they all finished to acknowledge, they quickly ran toward the sound as did Laika did. Passing by a few buildings and crossroads to finally end up back at the town hall to see the scattered bodies of the cat forces all around the area. Some in the street and some even on the steps of the Townhall building.
"They hell happened here?!" One cat said, running over to any one of his fellow slain friends. Pressing his paw against their neck to feel any sort of a pulse or any hint of fainting life, only to find nothing. "I don't know, Quick someone Pebbles about- "Another commanding, taking control of the situation before he fell to the ground within an instant.
He body falling faint just like everyone else's. "GET DOWN, SNIPER!" He said, before running over to whatever solid wall he could find, unfortunately not making it in time before he was cut down as well. Within seconds, the others were too. Just like that, the Town square was silent once more, filled with gun fire and then nothing.
Laika watched it all unfold as she looked around, trying to see who this vigilante was that was doing God's work from the shadows, suddenly seeing the doors of the Townhall suddenly open up, Surprisingly to her own eyes to see none other than Chase, the Police Dog emerging from the federal building with his own rifle. Making it halfway down the steps before looking back into the Town hall and motioning outward.
"Looks like the coast is clear" Chase shouted as he still scoped out the area looking all around, seeing the rest of Paw Patrol come out the Town Hall right after, as well as Mayor Goodwell, looking as frightened as ever from her last encounter Lucky.
"Thank you Paw Patrol, I knew you would come and stop this" She said to Ryder, leaning on him as she limped her way slowly down the stairs using the young boy as something to lean on. "You can count on us Mayor, but we don't exactly have this under control yet, we're still trying to figure everything out" He responded.
"Ryder, we still need to find Laika" Rocky said, running up to the Leader as he tugged on his pants for his attention. "Rocky, I know you've been adamant to find her, but we can't go everywhere. Those cats would have us outnumbered" Ryder explained, seeing the Engineer Canine hang his head down, thinking he'd never get the chance.
"I'm with Ryder on this one, We already checked at Katie's and that's the last place we saw her, We can't expect her to just appear out of nowhere" Chase stated, unfortunately last words as Laika's words pierced the night silence. "Don't doubt yourself!" She shouted as everyone looked up to the where she was, standing upon the roof of a building.
"Laika, You're alive!" Rocky said in response to seeing her as she slowly slid down the gutter pipe of the building to safety and ran over to her friends, giving each one a hug as she was glad to see them as they were to her. "I'm so glad you all are okay, I thought those cats got to you at the Tower" She stated.
"We left as soon as they came just in a nick of time, We head straight over to Katies to try and link up with you, Rocky wanted to see if you were okay, but when we got there you were gone" Marshall explained.
"Hold on, It was Rocky's idea to come find me?" Laika asked, a bit surprised as she locked eyes at the fellow mixed breed who felt a bit embarrassed after being pointed out. "Yeah, He was all upset and angry when Ryder said he we didn't have the time"
"Heh..Y-Yeah, I guess so" Rocky stuttered, rubbing the back of his head as he refused to look at Laika in the eyes after Marshall recalled his earlier panic to find her. "Yeah, I think I saw him cry a little bit too-"Marshall carried on recalling the times before Rocky swiftly put his paw over his muzzle. "Okay Marshall, that's enough, we all get the picture."
Laika smirked as she looked at the two, "Thanks Rocky, Didn't think you'd care that much about me" She commented. "W-Well you know you're our friend and all" Rocky said, again with his words in a bunch. "Hold on, If you all left in time, then you saw that Orange cat, Pebbles, Right?" Laika asked, reverting her attention back to all of them.
"I think so, We couldn't get gwab all ouw equipment and vehicles when we left" Zuma said, paying close attention as Laika just realizing they didn't have their gear, nothing. "So, wait, you left all of your things back there, in the burning tower?" Laika asked.
"All the equipment should be safe apart from the computers at the top, and the…. vehicles" Ryder hovered over his last word, the word fainting lighter and lighter when he said as soon as he faced the tower, he looked up with his jaw hung low and his eyes in disbelief as to what he was seeing.
Ryder pointed up toward the Tower, everyone looked in confusion before turning around to see for themselves. "My Goodness…" Rocky, just like Ryder, was in shock as to what he saw. "Is that…. that" Skye above all canines in that group was the most shocked, as what she saw in the air she recalled as her own.
A Helicopter, flying away from the Tower down into the Town. Its flight was stable, didn't seem like it was going to crash and whoever was flying it certainly knew what they were doing. It was Skye's Helicopter, commandeered and stolen by the cats who also seemed to be impressive pilots as well.
"THERE YOU ARE!" Pebbles voice boomed from the Speech Amplifier aboard the Helicopter. Calling out his visual of Laika over Town Square. The Helicopter swung by sideways over the area, revealing the side. On the side were a few cats on board, leaning out with their rifles. Opening fire as they passed over the group on the ground. "RUN!" Ryder screamed, as they all took off in a separate direction, running covered wherever they could.
"CMON OUT LAIKA, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT EVER SINCE YOU CRASHED HERE, DON'T GO THINKING I WON'T DO THE SAME TO YOUR FRIENDS, HARBOURING COMMUNIST-TERRORISTS IS PUNISHABLE BY DEATH!" Pebbles shouted as the Aircraft circled the square, steadily and hastily.
Laika looked to her side to see Rocky, also hiding in concealment away from Pebbles. Laika peaked around the corner from where she was, getting small glimpses of the helicopter continuously passing over. "You're the smart one, any ideas?" Laika asked.
"Give me a moment, Kinda hard to think while being shot at"
"WE CAN DO THIS ALL NIGHT LAIKA, COME OUT AND MAYBE I'LL CONSIDER MAKING IT PAINLESS" He proclaimed, before Rocky finally had this stroke of genius. "I got it, Skye's helicopter is a bit of weak interface, If I could hack it, I can mess with the control and bring it down" Rocky suggested, however one large hole in his plan had been realized as soon as he spoke it.
"What can you use, you don't have your things" Laika pointed out, leaving Rocky to think more before looking across the road to their other friends. Chase hunkered down trying to get a good angle on the Helicopter with his own rifle. Zuma and Rubble hiding inside the innards of a dumpster, they're heads lightly peaking out, looking up the Helicopter.
Marshall and Skye together as before, Skye laid down on her stomach inside a discarded air conditioning unit left to rot in an alleyway, big enough for a cockapoo but not enough for a Dalmation. Marshall crouched out partially outside, out in the open. "Marshall, Just try and squeeze in, please" She pleaded, moving herself over for a sliver of a chance for her Fire Canine to move in as well.
"I can't, I need to keep you safe incase anything else happens"
"Marshall don't be stupid, It's a Helicopter with guns, Just keep trying" Skye persisted, Laika looking over to see Ryder hiding behind the wall of a building, in perfect line of sight to him. Both mixed breeds looked at each other, as they both had the same thought. "His Pup Pad!" They both said to each other.
"If I can use Ryder's tablet, It would take me a bit longer but I'm sure I could do it, but how are we going to get over there without being noticed" Rocky asked before seeing Laika sigh, looking up at the helicopter above. "Rocky, make sure this hack of yours will be quick" Laika cryptically said, wrapping her paws around the mixed breed in a short hug and a sudden kiss on the cheek.
"W-What are you doing?" Rocky asked, before seeing Laika walk right past him. "This" She faintly replied, running out into the Town square, exposed. Jumping up and down with her paws waving around. "Come and get me you fat orange furball!" She shouted.
"THERE YOU ARE!" Pebbles shouted, flying to his side, letting the Cats including Lucky, open fire on Laika's direction. As soon they did, Laika took off running. Not into cover, but down the street. Not even trying to hide herself, buying time for Rocky to finish the plan. Rocky and the others looked up to see the Aircraft leave the town square, as soon as it did, Rocky run full speed to Ryder, pouncing on him so hard, knocking him down the ground.
"Woah Rocky, No need to-"Ryder tried to calm his colleague canine, only to see him not even acknowledge his leader, instead checking all around Ryder for his Tablet, to finally retrieve it. "Laika and I talked about an Idea, I can hack the Helicopter's systems and crash it." Rocky explained, seeing all his friends gather round as they heard the good news.
"Pawsome sauce Rocky, What can we do?" Rubble asked, eager to get his own paws dirty. "It'll take me a few minutes to get this done, but a few minutes is enough time for those cats to kill Laika. Go and help Laika buy me some extra time" Rocky commanded.
"Alright, Paw Patrol is on a Roll!" Ryder shouted his signature line, seeing all of the dogs run off after Laika who was already busy trying not to catch a stray bullet.
Meanwhile, Laika like the wind on all fours. The paws started to scrape against the asphalt each jolt she did. She heard the bullets whizzing right past her ears, tight above her and all around right into the road she was passing by at lightning speed. "STAY STILL RUSKIE!" Pebbles shouted.
Laika could feel her hear start to weaken, she knew she couldn't slow down, so she must resort to hiding. Making a sudden dash into an alleyway for even just a few seconds to catch her breath.
"IM PREPARED TO BURN THIS BACKWATER TOWN TO THE GROUND IF IT MEANS TO PUT YOU DOWN" Pebbles shouted, hearing the reverb from the Helicopter making circle around her exact location. Laika didn't call his bluff, he was ready to kill anyone just to get to her and he wasn't going to give her a chance. "O-Okay, I bet I can run into the forest, all the trees would give me enough-"
Laika pondered to herself before suddenly hearing a barrage of gunshots close to her, not from above. Laika looked across the street to see Chase, firing up at the Helicopter with his own rifle. "We're taking fire!" Lucky said from the helicopter to Pebbles.
"From where?!" Pebbles asked, looking out the window from the pilot's seat, struggling to find where it was coming from. Pebbles freak reacted by clearing away from the area, flying away and wider to get a better view.
"LAIKA OVER HERE, QUICK!" Chase shouted, motion for her to come toward him, Laika took the chance and ran over to him all whilst looking up to see Helicopter was preoccupied trying not to get shot than to find Laika again.
"Спасибо Chase" She thanked the German Shepherd.
"I don't know what that means but I'll take it as something nice" Chase replied, Even though it wasn't in his native tongue, he could make an educated guy that it was something along the lines 'Thanks'. "FOUND YOU" Pebbles exclaimed, shining a bright strobe light on their location from the Helicopter. Both canines took off as a hale of bullets came through, slamming into the concrete they were previously up against.
"YOU WOOO, OVER HERE, COME GET US!" Marshall shouted, standing atop of building along with Skye. Both shaking their bodies in a mocking tone as the Helicopter shifted its focus toward the two. "MORE STUPID DOGS COMING TO GET SOME" The Orange feline mocked as he turned sideways, letting Lucky and his crew do what they do best.
Within seconds, Marshall and Skye sprinted across the roof, letting a trail of automatic fire follow close behind them. Reaching to the end of the roof before both stopped, it was fooling to jump as it would mean broken limbs or even worse. The Dalmation and Cockapoo turned back seeing the Helicopter double back on its other side for a final firing phase.
Marshall and Skye hugged each other, knowing this was most likely the end as there was no where left to go. Yet again, like a stroke of fate. As the Helicopter was low, Pebbles began to feel large bangs against the aircraft, feeling it strike from underneath. "What was that?" He asked, turning his head around to Lucky and the other cats as they both looked down from the side, seeing nothing before the side window of pilot side suddenly burst. Glass shattered across the cat's face, feeling a small rock fall inside.
"WHO THE FUCK IS THROWING ROCKS AT US?!" Marshall and Skye all heard as they looked across the street to see Zuma, Rubble, and Ryder doing just that. Going old school as one by one, threw each rock with all the strength they had at that helicopter, not to damage it but to simple make Pebbles angry as much as they could.
"YEAH, TAKE THAT!" Rubble shouted, rubbing one insult in as the Helicopter quick ascended quickly, trying to get away from it all. Once they were out of range for the stones, all three stopped as they chuckled to themselves and each other.
Pebbles circled wide over the area, far enough to not throw stones but at a good enough range for bullets. His cats threw down more than enough led to send a small army running, in this case one person and two dogs. Zuma, Rubble, and Ryder all dropped what they had and took off, running to any cover they could. Suddenly, the Helicopter started to wobble and turn uncontrollably. Throwing off the crew's aim by a margin.
"PEBBLES HOLD IT STILL!" Lucky shouted to the control who unbeknownst to him, had no control anymore. "I DON'T KNOW WHATS HAPPENNING!" Pebbles shouted as he tried to control the helicopter, but it wasn't working anymore. Laika and the rest of Paw Patrol watched as the Helicopter starred to spin in circle, ascending and descending as well.
"Rocky did it, He really did it" Skye muttered as they all combined into the street to see it, it was like a somewhat mesmerizing sight to see as the Helicopter was slowly losing all control. "You're damn right I did" Rocky commented, walking right up the group with Ryder's Tablet in his paws, seemingly controlling the whole chopper with just one paw, wreaking havoc on the cat inside.
"And now for the final touch" Rocky commented, wiping his paw all over across the screen as he watched up to see the Helicopter make its finally descent, falling then full speed ahead. If there was any screaming, they were way too far away to hear anything, seeing the aircraft crash headfirst into the Adventure Bay bridge.
The fire billowed upward and the bang from the impact shocked all those in the town. "It's not done" Laika suddenly commented as she stared up at the burning helicopter that just laid on the bridge. "Unless I see a body, I refuse to believe he's gone down that easy, we have to get up there and finish this" she said.
"Agreed, Cmon everyone, this cat is on his last life." Ryder commented, taking off the running to bridge, all the dogs following behind, they all agreed that this cat had to meet his end, here or later, he was going to pay.
After the moment had passed, they all reached the start of the bridge, whilst near they could see the extent of the damage. Damaged that had their windows blown up, just be the shear force of the explosion by the Helicopter crashing in the bridge. Also looking up the bridge to notice cords and support beams were damaged, putting everyone who stood on the bridge at danger.
Of course, they also saw the physical wreckage of the chopper itself, its blades were broken from pieces to piece, glass littered the roadway, and the metal frame of the aircraft was bent both inward and outward. As they all approached, the heat from the fire that had spread started to make their eyes shine and wet.
All of a sudden, the sounds of metal and steel start to make itself known from up above, one lone large beam that swung from one pillar to another on the bridge begam disconnect was hurtling toward the road of the bridge at all alarming rates. Laika jumped ahead in front of her as the rest of her friends did the opposite and threw themselves backwards as far as they could. Letting the large beam fall right in the middle of the two, separating the two parties.
"You guys okay?" Laika shouted.
"Yeah, but we're going to need some time to get over this beam, go on without us" Ryder replied, seeing as there was no obvious way to get over the beam that separated them. It was too long to go around and no large to just how over like a fence.
Laika looked all around the beam trying to see another way, until she heard glass cracking behind her. Laika turned around to see the man, the myth, the red-blooded American cat himself, Pebbles. Standing there looking at the mixed breed with fire in his eyes. His orange fur was stained with blood, from his crew and his own blood.
Pebbles reached around his side to grab and small pistol, making Laika's heart stop as there was no to run. Nothing to fight with and the cat had a clear line of sight of her. She prepared herself for the worst, however she didn't prepare herself for what Pebbles did next.
In on swift move, Pebbles threw his pistol off the bridge, this was no accident as the orange feline prompted himself into a fighting stance. "I don't need a gun to kill you or fucking helicopter to kill you, I'll claw your eyes out and throw you off this bridge myself" Pebbles confidently claimed.
There was no where else to go and there was nothing else to talk about, Laika returned the favour by engaging in her fighting stance as well. "I don't need my friends to kill you either" She said. Both locked eyes, waiting for a sudden movement before Pebbles raced ahead, charging at her. Letting out a vicious war cry.
Laika braced herself as Pebbles rammed her, pushing her back right into the support beam. Her back ached from the sudden pain, without hesitation Laika prompted up her hindlegs to kick the cat, Pebbles with his cat like reflexes grabbed her leg and slice his talons across it.
Laika winced in pain, feeling Pebbles' paws wrap around her neck to finish the job. Not letting a good opportunity go to waste as Laika laid on her back and began to death roll the cat like an alligator. Rolling across the asphalt, small and large chunks of glass scattered around like a mine field. The glass scrapping against Pebbles but also Laika as well.
Pebbles quickly disconnect himself from Laika, letting him roll in his own direction, both getting back on their paws. "You're tough, but you lack skill" Pebbles commented, once again charging at her as he did before. Laika understood his technique as she did the same, trying to counter his force. Although within a split second, just before the two would have connected, Pebbles slid down under the gap before Laika's legs, grabbing onto her back and slicing into her backside several times. "AGHHHH!" Laika shouted, as she fell to the ground on her side.
"And you lack Reflexes!" Laika shouted, getting a confused look from Pebbles just as Laika in a fast motion picked up a sharp blade of glass from the road, turning onto her back and throwing it at Pebbles. The glass rotated in the air like a knife as it landed right into Pebble's lower side.
He doubled over, kneeling as he hovered his paws over the glass that stuck out from his side, in disbelief that she bested him for a moment in time. Laika laid her head against the road, all her energy was drained and every ounce in her body just told her to give in or run, anything but keep fighting and taking on more pain.
Laika refused to throw in the towel, suddenly Pebbles appeared right over her on his legs, looking down upon her before spitting blood in her face within was mostly blood mixed with saliva at this point. "Communist…. piece…. of shit, I'll…show you" Pebbles spoke, his words broken in between each within every heavy breath. Grabbing Laika by her neck and dragging her forward, toward the edge of the bridge.
Laika tried to fight and struggle, trying to grab onto anything she passed by to try and fee herself, another glass shard, a solid piece of pipe to hold onto, anything. It didn't matter, Pebbles threw her onto the edge of the bridge, her lower half laid steady on the bridge whilst her top half dangled over two three hundred feet below down into the water.
Pebbles laid himself on her chest, wrapping his paws around his chest in a final move to strangle her, Laika chocked as she placed her own paws on his, trying to move them away but to no prevail. Laika felt around her to retrieve something, turning her eyes to the glass that still poked from out of Pebbles.
Laika reached forward, grabbing the Shard of Glass from out Pebble's skin. Pebbles groaned fiercely before in a fatal move, Laika thrusted the single blade of glass into Pebbles' throat. Pebbles held his paws to his neck for a short moment before, her started to hyperventilate as he felt the pain and blood starting to overflow, especially the blood as it came oozing out from his neck like a hose.
The might American cat that gone on for long enough, finally felt his body turn over, falling in front on Laika. Without a second thought, Laika whilst still on her own back, grabbed the body of the Pebbles and threw him over her, right over the bridge, Laika turned her head to see his lifeless body falling hundreds of feet down below before making a large splash into the sea below.
Laika etched herself away from the edge, slowly but surely, once away for her own safety, falling onto her back finally to take an ease of her aching muscles, it was finally over. "Laika!" Laika turned her head to see her friends, all of Paw Patrol rushed over to her, examining all her wounds.
"Laika, what happened?" Marshall asked, looking at all the cuts and slices across her body, wounds that needed to be tended to immediately. "That Cat, The orange one…. he's…. dead" Laika said between each pain filled breathe.
"Oh Okay, Laika are you alright?"
"Y-Yeah, I'm…fine" She replied.
"No she's not, Ryder we need to get her to Katie's, ASAP" Marshall said.
"Don't move, Any of you!" All of them heard a sudden voice from behind them, seeing a small group of cat that had survived the crash and crawled out from the Helicopter, However the one who had spoken, was none other than Lucky himself.
"We're going to make you pay for what you did to Pebbles, I'm going to enjoy this moment" Lucky spoke as he perked up his rifle. All of Paw Patrol and Laika closed their eyes, ready for their own execution before looking to the other side of the bridge. A Large Brigade of Vehicles, all in black came racing forward. Flashing red and blue lights that Chase would have recognized easily.
Coming from within mere feet of the two groups before stopping, the leading vehicle stopped suddenly, The driver side door swung up as out came a human man, decked out in casual wear with Tactical kits from head to bottom.
"CIA, GET DOWN ON THE GROUND!" The man shouted, being the order to Lucky and his small grew. Lucky knew there was no point in going down in blaze of glory, it wasn't worth it. Lucky threw his rifle down, laying himself flat on the ground as his fellow cats followed and did the same. Other CIA Officers approached slowly with their guns drawn, also viewing Paw Patrol but acknowledging they were not threat.
Lucky locked eyes with Laika, giving her a death stare as he was being pressed into the ground with several Government Official on him, slapping cuffs around his paws and bringing up. "Yall okay?" The first CIA Official asked, holstering his weapon as he walked over to Paw Patrol.
"No, our friend is seriously hurt, She's going to die if we don't get her help!" Rocky shouted, yanking at the Operator as he examined her shortly with his own eyes. "Is that who I think it is?" He asked.
"You know what, Not important" He shut himself down at his previous question, turning back to his fellow squad mates, seeing two of them rush over to him. Shoving away the Canines as they picked up Laika by each side of her body, carrying her back over to their vehicles.
"Where are you taking her?" Ryder asked.
"You said she needed help so that's what we're doing"
"There's a Veterinarian in town you can take her to" Ryder pointed out, seeing the Operator Look beyond the Team leader at the bridge that was littered with debris. "The Bridge is blocked off, we can't go through, we'll take her to somewhere else" He responded.
"But she won't have enough time, she might die!" Marshall exclaimed, seeing the CIA Operator in his tactical gear just shrug as he response. "We can't have it all now can we, we were never here by the way, and you never tell anyone about this" Her stated, pointing his finger at all of them, making sure they understood him crystal clearly.
Turning himself around to run back to his vehicle, Seeing the other Operators already in their cars and ready to go. Leaving Paw Patrol empty and hopeless, Rocky looked on to an unknown fate for Laika, she was even confident Laika was going to make it out alive.
"Don't worry dude, she'll be okay, I promise" Zuma assure, wrapping his paws around Rocky for a tight hug, Marshall did the same after, then came Chase and Skye and everyone else. Rocky teared up with fear in his heart watching as each vehicle that had came just a few seconds ago, had turned themselves around heading full speed in the way they came.
