Potnia Theron: Conception of All Animals.
Many readers have written reviews about the revelation of the last episode. Rather than answer individually, I will give a collective answer.
First, I will not speak about UWB's effect on Slave's Shirou or, opposite, the effect of the current state of Shirou on UBW... because I don't want to spoil my story.
Ishtar and Ereshkigal did not treat Shirou and Hakuno as slaves, it is true. But only because they did not attach any importance to this fact... they are Babylonian goddesses, and for them, the humans' relationship with gods is necessarily a dominated/ dominant relationship. So for them, the side effects of Potnia Theron are not a significant change. In fact, from their divine point of view, it's just a return to the normal state of humans. Perhaps you remember the FGO dialogue between Ere and Fujimaru: "Don't forget that before we are Servant and Master, we are goddess and human." Or "Well you are my Master but calling it so freely is troubling".
Note that Hakuno and Shirou are free to make their choice, at least until they receive an order from Ishtar.
It has been pointed out to me that the way I describe Potnia Theron: Conception of All Animals does not exactly match its description in the list of Fate's Skills.
There are three main reasons.
1) The skill description corresponds to its use by the Goddess of Çatalhöyük. Nevertheless, other goddesses in other mythologies have this skill (like Ishtar but also BB in the Moon Cell). But, two Servants having the same Skill do not necessarily have the same power. For example, compare Nameless and Arjuna. Both are Archer-class Servants, and both have the Clairvoyance skill at C+ Rank, but for Nameless it's a bonus to use his Tracing Magecraft instantly, while for Arjuna it's the ability to see invisible people.
2) Let us not forget that the Fate System translated into Skills and Noble Phantasms the Divine Authorities of gods summoned as Servant... except that Ishtar is no longer a Servant in the Fate universe, but an Avatar in the Campioneverse. There is therefore no longer any reason to limit her Divine Authorities to match the skills of the Fate System.
3) Ishtar being a Mesopotamian goddess, I, therefore, used the Mesopotamian version of the myth and I respected it to the letter. Both in the method and in the effects. Don't take my word for it, check! (Enki et Ninmah, le mythe sumérien de la création du monde, translation from tablet AO 7036, Louvres Museum).
Reaper200851: I answer you separately because you pointed out a very important thing... at least for me. For the description of Shirou's trauma, I was inspired... by my own experience. Without going into details, a few years ago, I lost my girlfriend in a car accident. I had a long depression.
AMTT94: Hilarious... except for poor Shirou, of course... Let's be positive, his agony will only last a few weeks.
souhielhachani663 : *gives a nickel*... it is an advence payment.
Author's note: Since I started writing this fanfiction, I often had very negative comments about how I balanced the battles between the characters of the Fate license and the characters of the Campione! license.
I think this chapter wills be a 'great' addition to my record of negative comments (long sigh).
If there were an official crossover between the two universes, I would have a scale of comparison. Except that this is not the case. So I have to rely upon the encyclopedias of both universes and my common sense to imagine the result of a battle.
I do not think I am the holder of all wisdom, perfect and divinely inspired (no, I am not Gilgamesh). Every time I work on a draft for a new chapter, I'm very anxious about how this will be received by readers.
Most of the time, the arguments of my opponents are limited to "Everyone knows that Fate is better than Campione!"
Okay...
But it's true... at least if one is talking about the animes.
The cartoon Campione! is less spectacular than the many cartoons of the Fate license... But it is not because the Divine Authorities are inferior to the Noble Phantasms. It is because the animation's budget is not the same. Campione! was created by the studio Diomedéa (a small studio), while Unlimited Blade Work was drawn by Ufotable... with a much larger budget.
But if you have to compare the two licenses only by comparing cartoons, it would be more honest to compare Campione! with Fate Stay Night (the cartoon)... which has a budget comparable to that of Campione!
And, precisely if we were to judge the power of the Noble Phantasms as they appear in Fate Stay Night (the anime) and compare them to Divine Authority in Campione! (the anime)... Well...
Excalibur? A simple ray of light... much less impressive than Godou's White Stallion!
That is why I rely solely on the descriptions in the encyclopedias.
Last Stand
"All right... did everyone understand the plan?"
Hovering next to Maanna, her bow-boat, the Mistress of Heaven had turned towards Ereshkigal and Godou. They nodded without saying a word. They looked focused, but also anxious. The Goddess of the Netherworld and the Japanese Campione understood that Ishtar's plan was perhaps their last chance to defeat Sun Wukong.
[Hakuno? I'm counting on you for the timing of the attacks.]
The answer resonated in the mental bond created by the Moon Cell and uniting the goddesses, Godou, and Kishinami but also Shirou and the 'harem' of the Campione.
[Count me in] replied the Sovereign of the Moon
[Rin, let me join you!]
It was Shirou's 'voice'. Having not yet learned of Gilgamesh's intervention, Ishtar was surprised by the young man's desperate tone. For a moment she was tempted to accept his presence. But she had not saved him so he could sacrifice his life again.
[No] does she finally answer. She softens the dryness of her answer with an explanation. [Shirou, no one doubts your courage. But you can't face a god with the power of the Monkey King. You couldn't do anything and you'd just put yourself in danger. You know, knowing you're safe gives me the courage to face Sun Wukong and...]
She interrupted by seeing several of the Heretic God clones converging toward their position.
[Sorry, we'll talk later, I'm busy.]
A few kilometers away, Shirou clenched his fists in anger. He was divided between rage and despair.
Since his arrival in this universe, he was angry, an anger that invaded every moment of his life because he could not direct it on anyone.
He had agreed to die to save Sakura... a death that would be the end of pain, a release from the agony of his body pierced by more than a thousand swords. But he had accepted separation from Sakura because death had promised him peaceful oblivion.
Certainly, by giving him a new body, Rin... no, Ishtar... Ishtar had freed him from pain, but his new body had turned out to be a prison, a slave chain, a trap. And without forgetfulness brought by death, the absence of Sakura deprived his existence of all color and warmth.
Throughout the Grail War, the redhead had always rushed into danger without really taking the time to think about the consequences of his actions.
Until then, he had never understood the reasons for his impulsiveness.
But, today, Shirou Emiya felt like he had returned to that cursed day when the black mud coming out of the Grail Golden Cup had set Fuyuki on fire... he could only watch the fight that would decide the fate of Japan... powerless as an eight-year-old child.
The redhead was looking at one of the translucent screens showing the clash between the divine monkeys and the trio formed by the two goddesses and the Campione. His eyes did not leave the face of Ishtar. Shirou was divided between affection and a feeling of betrayal that only grew.
He hated feeling helpless in the face of disaster... He had to run to danger... to appease the Manes of all the innocents he had abandoned on the day when Kiritsugu found him. Except that Ishtar refused to understand that his soul was screaming to be freed from this feeling of helplessness...
Focused on the screens in front of her, still disconnected from the emotions of ordinary people, Hakuno Kishinami did not pay attention to the young redhead. This was not the case for Erika, Liliana, Yuri, or Ena. Godou's four 'wives' looked at the expressions on Shirou's face with increasing anxiety. But they looked at each other without daring to intervene, understanding that the redhead would not listen to them, whatever they said.
Although she shows nothing, as impassive as usual, Athena was even more worried than the harem of her 'dear prey'. However, the goddess of wisdom had understood something that no one else had perceived. Since his arrival in this world, Shirou had been unable to fight the resentment that surrounded him like a black cloud. Simply because there was no target to his anger, no culprit to his vindictiveness, just an overwhelming blind and formless destiny. Now that his anger was focused on Ishtar, the redhead would be able to release all the darkness that oppressed him... which would finally offer him an opportunity to free himself from this burden.
The goddess turned her eyes towards the sky, in the direction of the Vimana hidden by the swirls of snow.
Not that it affected the result, the Queen of Night wondered if Gilgamesh had acted to harm Ishtar... or to help Shirou Emiya...
Because from now on everything was going to depend on Ishtar and Shirou.
A single word said in a moment of anger could destroy everything that united the Queen of Venus to the young human. And the Greek goddess of wisdom had the intuition that there was much more at stake than their good relationship. Events inevitably rushed towards their inevitable conclusion, spinning around four individual destinies linked to each other: Ishtar, Ereshkigal, Hakuno, and Shirou. In the background of the current storm, Athena perceived titanic shadows: the King of the End, Velber, and the Moon Cell.
Maanna had gotten closer to the ground, just until Ereshkigal jumped to the ground.
Standing in the snow, the Goddess of the Netherworld, the cold wind played with her red brocade cape and the pure gold threads of its blond twintails. With one hand on the hip, in a superman pose, she brandishes her spear wrapped in golden flames.
"Great Sage Equaling Heaven, I, Ereshkigal, the Queen of the Great Below, I call you forth."
Still riding Zhu Ganglie turned into a giant black pig, the King of Monkeys turned to the goddess. But he had to bend over to see her better... she was so small, so frail... He burst out laughing.
"It is you who dare challenge me? I don't know if I should praise your courage or be dismayed by your unconsciousness!"
Pretending not to have heard the comments of the monkey god, the Queen of Kur swaggered around.
"Yes, I challenge you with my most powerful attack."
Of course, the laughter of Son Wukong redoubled but his reaction upset Ereshkigal.
"I am a great and powerful goddess and I will show you."
"Sure, of course" laughed Sun Wukong. "I already tremble with terror at the thought of facing the terrifying Ereshkigal..."
As Zhu Ganglie scraped the ground with his hooves, preparing to charge toward the goddess, Ere struck the ground with the heel of her lance. Immediately stalagmites rose, forming a forest so dense that the mount of the Monkeys King was immobilized. The Goddess of Netherworld began to swirl her spear over her head. The movement of her hands was so rapid that the lance transformed into a dazzling wheel of fire. Flashes of lightning began to flash around Meslamtaea.
[Hakuno-chan, it's all on you now.]
She felt a disturbance in the mental connection with her friend as if the Sovereign of the Moon breathed in deeply to give herself courage.
[Okay] simply replied Hakuno.
Raising her chin in a defiant gesture, Ereshkigal turned to the monkey god.
"Fine, I'll cast you down to the bottom of the earth!
Please, Meslamtaea! Experience the Providence of the Underworld! Appear, Shrine of Fever.
This is my Kur Kigal Irkalla! "
When she pronounced the name of her Noble Phantasm, the ground began to shake and large crevices formed, preceding the release of high-pressure lava geysers.
Within a radius of several hundred meters around Sun Wukong the hills collapsed as the crevices widened. His clones found themselves buried under the rocks or submerged under the rivers of lava that flowed down the slopes.
However, surrounded by a magical shield Sun Wukong and his two sworn brothers resisted the attack.
Yet Ereshkigal smiled. The main power of her Noble Phantasm was not an ability to destroy, but in 'changing the battlefield to the underworld'. And within the underworld where she boasts the highest authority, Ereshkigal and all those who fight alongside her are granted a powerful grace.
The Boat of Heaven had left Godou Kusanagi on a nearby hill.
Tense, he waited for the moment to intervene.
Ereshkigal's spectacular attack was only a prelude to his. He felt the buff effect granted by the goddess's Noble Phantasm roaming his body, driving away fatigue. His mind suddenly clear, the Campione breathed in. He held out his hand forward, eyes pleated, and focused.
[Now!]
Barely recognizing Hakuno's mental voice, the Devil King began to recite an incantation.
"O Guardian of the righteous, I invite you and offer sacrifice. O Guardian of the righteous, I praise you and beseech you. One who supports the sky and Develops new land, the one who grants victory and grace, I will perform justice, please grant me the right path and light! "
In the spiritual space where the 10 medallions symbolizing the avatars of the Persian god of war existed, the Goat took the highest position.
Violent lightning struck the golden energy dome surrounding the King of the Monkeys and his sworn Brothers.
The Goat was a very dangerous Divine Authority to use because it draws from the vital force of the one who uses it but also from that of his allies. And the more people gave their life force to Godou the more powerful the lightning bolts of the Goat Incarnation became.
Under the energy dome created by the Regalia, Hakuno, Shirou, and Godou's harem were gasping as they gave their vital energy to the Campione.
But they were not the only ones, in the hills, the monkeys collapsed in the snow. (1)
The energy offered by those present was amplified by the Noble Phantasm of Ereshkigal, channeling a formidable energy towards Godou.
The power of the Goat was not limited to invoking lightning; it also allowed taking control of all, natural or supernatural, weather phenomena. Godou used this property to dissipate the blizzard and the twisters invoked by Vaisravanna.
This Divine Authority also gave Godou the wisdom of a high-ranking priest and the mystical knowledge of a master of thaumaturgy.
So the Godslayer had no trouble identifying the weak points in the barrier protecting Sun Wukong and directed the lightning to the key symbols of the magic dome. And as the Goat's lightning had anti-magic properties... the shield shattered.
The ground collapsed under the pig feet of Zhu Ganglie. Sinking into the lava, the Subordinate God began to howl in terror and pain. Vaisravanna wanted to flee, but he had barely taken flight when lightning struck him, the gods turned into a dragon fell into a geyser of lava... and disappeared.
To protect himself from the lightning that struck him tirelessly, the Monkeys King could only raise his arms above his head screaming insults and proclaiming that he was invincible with an increasingly panicked voice.
Above the sea of clouds that hid the clash, the Goddess of Venus was waiting, floating near the Boat of Heaven.
[It's your turn, Ishtar]
[Thank you, Hakuno]
The goddess looked below her, towards Sun Wukong. Her sister and Godou had done their share of the work, immobilizing the Monkey King and breaking his defenses. But the Mistress of Heaven had insisted on bringing the final blow herself... this so-called 'Great Sage Equaling Heaven' had offended her even in the title he had claimed!
"Very well, I'll take you all the way to Venus!"
"Here we go, Maanna! Gate open!... Fufu, think of it as an honor. This is my full throttle...!"
A portal of golden light opened in front of the Boat of Heaven and it crossed in, escorted by Ishtar.
The other side of the portal was the cosmic void. The planet Venus was floating nearby, like a huge yellow and brown marble. But it wasn't really planet Venus, it was the concept of 'planet Venus'.
When Ishtar reached out, the planet was but a small sphere hovering above the goddess' palm! But was it not the privilege of divinities to make the impossible possible?
Ishtar concentrated and Venus began to shine stronger and stronger, turning into a kind of mini sun still floating above her hand.
"Be crushed to pieces!"
The goddess loaded the planet Venus in Maanna's magazine. The mini sun went from golden yellow to blue and then purple. As the rope of the celestial bow was stretched back, the plasma ball flattened, and lengthened, turning into some kind of energy arrow. A portal of light appeared in front of the Boat of Heaven.
"An Gal Tā Kigal Shē! "
A stargate opened over Japan and Ishtar's arrow came out of it, a purple and purple comet that rushed towards the ground.
The light generated by the projectile illuminated the clouds from above just before the swirling winds created by the displaced air masses tore the cumulus clouds apart.
Even Sun Wukong looked up in horror. But he could not escape because he was still paralyzed by the lightning created by Godou and he was sinking into the liquid lava. The Great Sage Equaling Heaven could not use magic to protect itself, either, because of the anti-magic properties of the Goat Incarnation.
Trapped, he could only utter a cry of helpless rage.
A moment later, an apocalyptic explosion collapsed Mount Nantai. Even the explosion that had ravaged the Mojave desert a few days earlier could not be compared to the full power of the goddess's Noble Phantasm. Not only did the Mistress of Heaven just use An Gal Ta Kigal Šè: Mountain Range-Shaking Firewood of Venus in a mountain range, but the goddess benefited from the grace that Ereshkigal had granted to all her allies.
Tons and tons of rocks rolled down the open slopes filling the Daiya River or falling into Lake Chūzenji.
Near the base of the mountain, the place where the Monkeys King had stood was now an erupting volcanic crater, filled with boiling liquid rocks. Rivers of lava descended to the lake, burning forests.
The ground trembled as cracks in the earth's crust widened.
Godou Kusanagi collapsed on his knees, his body trembling with exhaustion and his forehead covered with sweat. Panting, wide-eyed, he was watching the cataclysm that had helped set it off. The ground was still shaken by earthquakes and the volcano created by the combined efforts of Ereshkigal and Ishtar continued to expand, devouring the ground around it. The lava streams now reached the lake and upon contact with the water clouds of steam were born.
An end of the world landscape...
He turned his head hearing footsteps.
It was Ereshkigal, the goddess seemed to hesitate between pride and denial in view of the result of their attack. The Campione smiled slightly... The Queen of Kur had a strange personality.
"Is that what..." Ere paused, and coughed in her fist before returning to speak in a more formal manner, like the Great Goddess she claimed to be. "King Godou, this goddess is asking if you're okay."
"It will be better once Yuri uses her magic to heal me. I just wish she didn't have to kiss me..."
It was the Queen of the Netherworld's turn to smile.
"Even this gloomy and pessimistic Goddess realized that Yuri Mariya does not protest much when she is 'obliged' to kiss you King Godou..."
The Godlsayer turned red, embarrassed, but dared not contradict her.
In the sky now almost completely blue, clouds had been driven out by the Noble Phantasm of Ishtar, a stargate had just appeared. The Goddess of Venus looked around and went down to join her sister and Godou.
"Well, it's over... "
She looked towards the crater and frowned as she saw the ground convulse violently.
"Wow, I thought the volcanic eruption would have started to calm down by now... "
[Ishtar? Ereshkigal? Godou? ]
Recognizing the mental 'voice' of the Sovereign, the Goddess of the Netherworld smiled.
[Hakuno, how are you? The earthquake didn't do any damage around you? ]
[No but...] The last Master of the Moon hesitated for a moment. [Men turned into monkeys are still in the form of monkeys. ]
It took Ishtar a moment to understand the implications of what Hakuno had just said. Her smile disappeared.
[Are you sure?]
But before Kishinami could respond, a violent earthquake shook the hills, throwing the trees to the ground. Simultaneously a pillar of golden light emerged from the volcanic crater, pushing the lava around it...
"Impossible!"
The source of this light was Ruyi Jingu Bang, the divine staff of Sun Wukong!
Sitting on his golden throne, Gilgamesh watched the scene with an expression of irritation.
"What a pathetic goddess, take Gugalanna away from her and she can't even beat a monkey!"
Standing on the Vimana platform, Altera nodded.
"The fight has lasted too long."
The King of Uruk smiled.
"I suppose you want me to intervene."
Altera nodded again. Gilgamesh laughed.
"Very well, since I am your faithful second, I can only obey."
Dripping with lava, Sun Wukong looked like a huge steel statue given to red by a charcoal fire. Heat waves twisted the air around him and noxious fumes swirled around the monkey god.
The combined attack of the two goddesses and the Campione had severely wounded him, but he was still able to fight!
The Great Sage Equaling Heaven tried to laugh at his enemies, but the result was pathetic, he was still under the shock of the attack and could not completely hide his anger... and the fear he had felt.
"All right, you did it. Now I'm going to take you seriously. Don't expect a quick death! No, I will imprison you under a mountain!"
The anger and terror felt by Sun Wukong were explained by his imprisonment in the oven of Lao Tzu... He had certainly survived, but the god had kept a phobia of temperatures capable of melting steel.
The monkey god held out his hand forward:
" Wuzhishan!"
Five stone pillars emerged from the ground to form a cage imprisoning Ishtar, Ereshkigal, and Godou.
Sun Wukong smiled. Wuzhishan Mountain of Five Fingers was a Divine Authority that Buddha had used against him. The stone pillars were in fact Buddha's fingers; forming a cage from which no one could escape... The monkey god's smile disappeared. After all, if he could assert it is that even he had not managed to escape from the palm of Buddha. But his time in that prison had not been in vain. By dint of study, the Monkeys King had succeeded in reproducing this Divine Authority.
"I condemn you to die of hunger and thirst in the darkness of the earth's womb."
With a gesture of his hand, he ordered the stone pillars to retract to form an indestructible stone coffin that would descend far below the surface of the ground, condemning the captives to a slow death.
Ereshkigal struck the ground with her spear.
"I, Irkalla, reject this sentence and judge it null and void!"
Irkalla ('great city' in Akkadian) was one of the names of Ereshkigal, but it was also one of the names designating the Mesopotamian underworld. In the same way, among the Greeks, 'Hades' meant both the kingdom of the dead and its terrible king.
The name 'Irkalla' symbolized the inseparable unity between Ereshkigal and her kingdom. Where she was, was Kur.
Thereby, the Queen of the Great Bellow can open a door to Kur to imprison the gods or mortals that had displeased her (2).
When Sun Wkong had sentenced the goddesses and the Campione to imprisonment in the bowels of the earth, the monkey god had appealed to a similar Authority. But Ereshkigal had quashed that judgment by recourse to her own Divine Authority Kur Kigal Irkalla: the Bellows of Kur that Tramples upon Ekur.
One can still speculate on what would have happened if Ereshkigal had faced Buddha...
But Sun Wukong was a monkey god who had only copied the authority of a god having truly the right to condemn gods and mortals, while the Queen of the Ash and Dust Dwelling was defined by her role as goddess of the dead.
The ground stopped sinking around Ereshkigal, Ishtar, and Godou as the stone pillars collapsed and fell to dust.
Once again, they had managed to counter the immense power of the Great Sage Equaling Heaven. But neither the goddesses nor the Campione had any plans to defeat the Monkeys King. They were exhausted, and their enemy seemed more powerful than ever (3).
However, as Sun Wukong grabbed his Golden Stick, preparing to attack them... Chains appeared, coming out of several golden openings, immobilizing the monkey god...
Sun Wukong shouted with frustration and struggled, but his strength was as if neutralized by the chains!
Nonetheless, Ishtar's surprise was very brief. She had recognized Enkidu: the Chain of Heaven. Gilgamesh intervened in the fight. Although she didn't understand why the Golden King was helping them, the goddess wasn't the type to waste a golden opportunity.
"Gugalanna Strike!"
And suddenly a light like a meteorite falling on Earth appeared in the sky. It was as if the sky was blanketed with the Morning Star emitting a beautiful light, but it was actually a large golden hoof coming down to pulverize everything that was in the space between the sky and the ground.
And the hoof fell straight toward Sun Wukong.
The result was an explosion equivalent to a 'small' nuclear bomb.
In an instant, a whole section of the mountain had disappeared.
Turning towards the hills, Shirou Emiya saw the giant monkeys disappear, their physical bodies falling to dust while their spirits were banished to the Netherworld. When the transformed humans...
[Ishtar, they are free... the people of Nikkō have been released... You defeated Sun Wukong. ]
He barely listened to the goddess's relieved response. As the enthusiasm dissipated, the redhead could not help but think back to Gilgamesh's revelation.
"Emiya Shirou."
Surprised, the Faker turned, surprised to discover that Athena was right behind him.
"Allow me to warn you. I am not saying that your anger is unjustified, or that you must forgive Ishtar's actions. But never forget this, your words and actions could save the world or condemn it. Even justified, anger is never a good advisor."
Without listening to a possible answer, the Queen of Night turned to the Campione's harem.
"I must go now."
The little girl with silver hair turned into a silver owl and flew east.
Nikkō had been ravaged by successive earthquakes. The ground was littered with pieces of glass, the street lights were hanging from strange angles and the asphalt was cracked with crevices. In places, broken pipes spewed water. Coming from the volcano created by Ereshkigal, ashes brought by the wind accumulated everywhere.
In an alley, a golden cloud had just landed. His passenger jumped to the ground.
Sun Wukong was in a miserable state. He had only one arm and half his face was destroyed. Painfully, the God of Steel leaned against a wall to avoid falling.
He had survived Ishtar's last attack. He didn't know why, but the chains had released him at the last moment.
But the Great Sage Equaling Heaven was crafty. To prevent his enemies from realizing that he was still alive, the Monkeys King freed the humans that had been transformed into monkeys and unsummoned his other servants.
Despite the pain, he laughs.
Let them enjoy their little victory because he would come back for revenge as soon as his wounds were healed and...
Sun Wukong rose, suddenly on alert. The atmosphere of the ruined city had suddenly changed. He felt a strange presence... a hostile presence.
Hearing a flapping of wings, the Heretic God turned around.
Before him stood a goddess with the appearance of an adorable little girl with silver hair.
"I see, someone wants to take advantage of poor old Sun's weakness to attack him."
He smiled and his golden rod materialized in his hand.
"I'll fight to the end!"
Athena did not answer. Her small figure distorted, fluctuated, and blackened. When the transformation was completed, Sun Wukong was facing a huge snake made of unholy darkness wrapped in a particularly sinister white-purple aura. That same light was burning in her eyes.
And the Queen of the Night greedily opened an inordinately large mouth...
In the ruins of Nikkō, a scream reflecting a hideous terror sounded... before dying out at once, as if sliced by the blade of a scythe.
(1) Among other powers, the Goat allows Godou to read into the hearts of other persons... Though consciously unable to resist the orders of the King of Monkeys, men transformed into monkeys who want to be freed from their curse. In the same situation (see the Campione! anime) Voban's undead slaves also give their vital energy to Godou so that the Campione can fight against their tyrant.
(2) An Authority used by Ereshkigal against Tiamat in Babylonia: Absolute Demonic Front. It's actually another aspect of her main Noble Phantasm, Kur Kigal Irkalla: the Bellows of Kur that Tramples upon Ekur.
(3) One of the Authorities of Sun Wukong, the Ritual of the Great Covenant, increases the power of the Monkeys King when he fights simultaneously several opponents.
Author Note: Before you start yelling at me, do not forget that Sun Wukong is a god. It is even a god who faced an entire pantheon and won. Later captured by Erlang, he was subjected to all existing forms of execution and survived.
His legend says he's incredibly resilient. I don't think I exaggerated.
This chapter was a nightmare to write, I spent three times more time on Campione/Fate mythological research than on any ordinary chapter.
